Now, when it comes to Pokemon, we already know it's one of the most notorious franchises in gaming history.
But of course, when it comes to Pokemon Pocopia, it's the upcoming life simulation spinoff of the Pokemon franchise.
And of course, it was announced during the Nintendo Direct.
And when it comes to this, it's drawing heavy inspiration from Animal Crossing New Horizons,
which is very interesting.
Because of course, for my upcoming episode as far as NME 153, you know, because NME 152 is already out.
I guess I had to change this for you all to see it.
NME 152 is already out titled the War and Ratlanta.
But of course, when episode 153 comes out, Nintendo is a part of that run of the show.
Topics, I get the point.
Basically, I'm talking about Nintendo patenting the ability to,
summon creatures from a ball, which is, you know, you would think it's pretty broad, right?
Digimine comes to nature, comes to mine.
I don't know what else comes to mind.
Digimon, probably some other games.
I mean, of course, Power World.
I mean, Nintendo hates Power.
It's really like Bloods and Crips with Power World and Nintendo.
Literally to the point where I remember covering Nintendo actually suing Power World.
Back in October 22nd, 2024, I covered Nintendo versus Pocket.
here on my podcast and dove into the Power World lawsuit and safe to say they gave Power
BTA.
Shepard, just look at the state of gaming like what is going on.
Now I'm not going to let you know what BTA means because this is a PG podcast slash stream.
But let's just say when they sued Power World, Power World felt it.
And now, you know, transition to now in 2025, they officially patented the way you summon
and create creatures from a ball.
So to see them drawing heavy inspiration from games like Animal Crossing New Horizons
and Minecraft, but say in the Pokemon universe, it's very interesting, right?
At first I thought this was a crossover.
I was like, oh, that's pretty cool.
Pokemon, you know, crossing over with other popular brands.
But no, they just boonking that.
They basically took it.
They said it's mine now.
I know Minecraft, I know Animal Crossing Horizons is watching this trailer that we're about
to dive into and say into themselves.
I know that ain't who I think it is.
So if you don't believe me,
analytic dreams video on Spotify to see the video along with the audio
because we're about to get into the Pokemon Pocopoeia trailer.
All right, now.
Oh man, the suspense is killing me.
Hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on, hold up, hold up.
You guys.
This land is just waiting to be shaped.
Buy a ditto.
It looks like...
Y'all wanted like a real-time reaction
because, you know, I don't know how.
how I got this, but I got a real-time reaction
from Minecraft
developers watching this right now.
Okay, there we go.
That was a nice record.
And championship was a number one.
His first song, tell me what's really going on.
Drizzy Drake back in this thing already.
That's soldier!
That's my bar!
No, Charlemagne's reaction kills that whole thing.
But anyways, y'all get the point, right?
Minecraft is looking at this whole thing
thinking to himself, hold on now.
That looks awfully familiar.
But anyways, let's keep going.
It'd be a shame if Minecraft took the same type of approach to patents like Nintendo does to every single IP that tries to make a living for themselves.
But anyways.
Like a human?
And what's that in the grass?
Oh, that's Bulbosaur, a grass-type Pokemon.
What's this?
Looks like Ditto's got an idea.
Okay, there we go.
That's my bar.
He copy my whole fucking flow.
By learning this move, you can make grass grass grass grow.
Squirtle's water gun will keep it all healthy.
As nature flourishes, so do the Pokemon.
Word be my whole fucking flow.
That keeps me through the phone.
He copy my whole fucking flow.
Word for word, bar for bar.
Next you're going to tell me those box is going to be able to collect.
You're going to be able to collect those little pieces on the ground and build something.
That's what you're going to tell me?
Rocks and wood to build with.
Shepard, just look at the state of gaming.
Like, what is going on?
All right, ladies and gentlemen, click my link to you in my bio.
Let me know one of my social medias.
What do you think about that atrocious
just rip off from Pokemon to stealing everything
from Animal Crossing to Minecraft?
And at the end of the day, don't forget,
Nintendo just patented that you can't summon a creature from a ball.
So how do you feel about that
and when you be playing Pokemon, Pocopoeia, when it comes out.
Spring, 2026.
There's no exact release date.
I don't think pre-orders start November 12th and 13th.
Anyways, click my link, share in my bio.
Let me know on one of my social medias.
