The introspective yet confident track blends classic Shiesty aggression with matured lyricism, earning praise from XXL and Pitchfork as a fiery, authentic return. With "Back in Blood" ft. Lil Durk now 8× Platinum and surging streams (over 6M monthly Spotify listeners), Pooh Shiesty confirmed an upcoming album in a recent Apple Music interview with Ebro Darden—expected soon, channeling prison lessons, faith, and real-life experiences under Gucci Mane's mentorship. Starting point is 00:00:03 Now safe to say the meaning of clout has changed, ladies and gentlemen. But then, you know what I'm saying? I was like, damn, look at the state of hip hop. Like, what's going on? And you're probably thinking to yourself. Why in the world would you say that? Well, ladies and gentlemen, the main reason I say that is because not only did Abraham, aka 21 Savage, just put out a phenomenal flop as far as expecting to sell 53,000 first week
Starting point is 00:00:31 when compared to his last album just last year, 2024, selling 133,000 first week units. You guys. See, that's the problem. And then of course, safe to say that in this specific segment, poo shiasty, yes, poo shiasty, ladies and gentlemen, the guy that was involved in the Miami shooting and robbery, robbery, mind you, right?
Starting point is 00:00:56 And he was sentenced to five years and three months, but time served, he did three years total and specific 1,580 days behind bars but then you know what I'm saying it's safe to say we've seen a lot of rappers
Starting point is 00:01:12 come out after prison and put out first day out freestyles or just put out music after they got out of prison whether it was Jeffrey aka Young Thug whether it was Bobby Shmurda whether it was T. Grizzly there was a lot of different artists in the past
Starting point is 00:01:28 that put out music after they came out of prison but I don't know if anybody's came out scorching hot like Poo Shicey has because looking at it in totality and looking at future chart predictions of course because that's what we do over here at notorious mass effect safe to say that Pus Shicey's first day out is having a phenomenal effect on the masses as when you look at it chart dated for December 27th so he's dealing with all type of Christmas anthems in the month of December and still and still and still who shiasty is set to have the 32nd most play track in the world
Starting point is 00:02:05 with first day out and you probably think it to yourself how is they even possible well I'm here to tell you ladies and gentlemen I also have no clue as you look at it he has everybody in their mama wearing shysseys in the month of December
Starting point is 00:02:21 when we're supposed to be celebrating the Christmas spirit and everybody walking out here with a shiasty I even saw a grandma on my timeline y'all may have seen it too it was a whole grandma rapping along to Poo Shisey's first day out. If you don't know, Poo Shisi has been bringing us the ultimate ignorance as back in blood
Starting point is 00:02:39 back in 2020 was one of the biggest songs in the world in the hip-hop space. And safe to say, in the year of 2025, like I already reported on time and time again, when you look at rapping totality of things compared to other genres, it's on a downward spiral, a spiral, right? Which is why we're going to get to Billboard in a second as far as them talking about how they're going to make it so less streams equivalent to one unit sold because I'm not saying they want people to sell better but it definitely looks like a watered down product if you're looking at it from last year and wondering why everybody is not listening to music as much as they were in the past
Starting point is 00:03:20 which you know not to tune my own whoring or other people like costing that or just bigger content creators but I think we do have an effect on the amount of music and TV consumption because of course when you look at the long form content which is podcasting or which is streaming, safe to say that's going to take away from something and I believe we're seeing it in the in the effect of music not being as consumed in a year of 2025. But that didn't stop rap from having more of a downward spiral as I reported October 31st, 2025 how there was there were no rap. songs in the billboard top 40 for the first time in 35 years but then you know what I'm saying I was like damn look at the state of hip hop like what's going on so in the year of 2025 everybody in a mama
Starting point is 00:04:07 was skeptical of who shite's he having a successful first day out type of track because guess what geoffrey came out in I don't know if I'm just playing devil's advocate I don't know if I'm biased for young thug you know what I'm saying I don't know if I'm biased for young thug you know that's supposed to be my stitching drop I don't know why I keeps playing young thug anyways um Young Thug had a track called Money on Money with Future Hendricks, right? I thought it was phenomenal. Did it do any type of damage on the charts? Of course not.
Starting point is 00:04:35 So that was very surprising for me. And that just told me that rap is just not in the state where it's going to be consumed by the masses. But then lo and behold, Pushisi came out with one of the hottest tracks ever straight out of prison. So when you hear a text like this, with shout out to ICE from the Joe Button podcast, but I do have to, I have to quote you my brother
Starting point is 00:04:55 because this is how a lot of people's feeling, and then we're going to get back into my take. What's his name? Pushis. No, that's not what you call him. The 762 God. That's his song. Oh, my God.
Starting point is 00:05:04 That's a song. See? Fucking freeze. Never before. I'd be catching all type of strays up there. See, you need a, I ain't going to lie to you. You need a fellow nerd like myself who can also speak on hip hop to be alongside you. Because they'd be going at ice crazy.
Starting point is 00:05:17 And I'm probably not helping with this sound bite. But let's keep going. I understand what y'all, like, fam. You think he's going to deliver, like, music? They're talking about Pushii. first day out track. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:05:26 I think he's going to get right back to it. Yeah. Yeah. But I think music has changed to where it's not going to hit no more. Him being down, Dirk being locked up, and little baby being scared to rap about street shit, which I completely understand. Not scared, but. Nah, Finding Willis got them very perplexed.
Starting point is 00:05:43 Let's just feel like that. Choosing to not rap the way he was rapping before. Dole. And then it's like the music industry has kind of passed them on now. So if you look at the trend of hip hop going downward as far as in the, year of 2025 safe to say if you was going to bet on poochicey's first day out not being a successful hit then you may have been in the realm of logic right and then you look at the charts and see that not only as first day out a phenomenal hit out the gate after doing five years well three years
Starting point is 00:06:13 in prison but safe to say it's also competing with the likes of all type or christmas tracks like it's literally titled like it's christmas by the jonas brothers uh blue christmas by elvis presley Wonderful Christmas by Paul McCartney. Like it's up there with some of the top Christmas anthems. And of course, to put it in perspective, it's right behind Mutt from Leon Thomas, which is always one of the most successful R&B tracks in the past two years. So Mutt throughout this entire year was in the top 20, I believe, easily.
Starting point is 00:06:44 So just to put in perspective, how successful the first day out track is for Poo Shisty. Once again, as far as future chart predictions by chart data, mind you it's not just i made it up chart dated for December 27 so it could change it could be higher or lower but these are pretty on the nose every single year which is why
Starting point is 00:07:04 people use these chart predictions first day out is set to be the 30 second most played track in the world so the reason why I'm putting that putting that in the perspective of ice is clip from the Joe Bunny podcast is because of you look at it as hip hop is not doing as well
Starting point is 00:07:21 and now you see push shi which is very much in the non in the year of 2025 having a successful track which is first day out which is why i do give ice some grace but also when it comes to clout safe to say no telling what push isi can do as far as a as far as capitalizing off of this monumental hip hop track because i would go on i would go out on the limb and say that as of right now it's probably the most popular hip hop track i'm looking at the charts right now yeah it's the most popular hip hop track I'm trying to see if there's any other track I can compare it to it for future chart predictions.
Starting point is 00:07:59 Oh yeah, to put it in perspective, Mr. Recoup by 21 Savage and Drake, which that's the most successful track off of a 21 Savage album, and you already know why. Come on now. Is it okay? I got my dope on me? You know what I mean? The goat brought his dope to the 21 Savage album. So obviously, Mr. Recoup is the most successful off of that project. And that is only the 51st was slated to be the 51st most played track in the world. So I'm putting it in perspective. You have 21st. and Drake having the 51st most played tracking world out the gate, right? Because Abraham's album didn't come out that long ago. And now you have first day out by Prushisi being the
Starting point is 00:08:35 32nd most played track in the world. So I'm just showcasing how Pushiksy is currently the hottest rapper in the game. And that is very much a surprise to the whole field, not just me. Because I look at numbers, I look at the trends, and safe to say, I would have been in the same realm of ice saying that they're not trying to promote push isi type of music but now here we are so i think it's an NBA young boy maybe i'm going out maybe it's formal maybe i'm going out on recency bias but i think put shrizy is having an NBA young boy type of moment with this particular song because don't forget a month or two ago i think it was last month NBA young boy had the highest charting hip-hop track currently with uh shot calling i believe so that type of music is not going to
Starting point is 00:09:22 anywhere. I think Poo Shicey is the next up as far as having a track like that notoriously affect the masses. And I'll be very interested to see where he goes from here. All I know is the label that he's under, which if you don't know, it's 1017, which is owned by the legendary Gucci Main, which I say time and time again, the people behind the scenes are the people you need to be watching in this music industry. The Gucci Mains of the world, the P from QCs of the world the who else the bird man's of the world these type of people are really the masterminds behind these artists popping up now of course gucgcun i'm not saying he wrote the track or anything like that but to sign him to have the foresight to sign him back in um i forgot when he signed up
Starting point is 00:10:07 who shi see but anyways if you look at the label as far as 1017 originally launched as 1017 brick squad records um this was all the way back in 20 was it back in 2000 yeah back in 2007 I believe so an a label made in 2007 is having one of one of his biggest acts now currently in 2025 with poochistie because of his track first day out and the only thing that i want to say you know to end this off is the the the line your daddy a killer but you ain't just like brianie james why'd you have to go there come on man you guys see that's the problem you have a phenomenal track going up on the charts and just because of that line you are already know that LeBron is going to have his vans pull up.
Starting point is 00:10:56 You know, as far as the, what's it, I forget his label, what they call it, uninterrupted or whatever, LeBron is going to have the uninterrupted vans pull up. And let's just say they're going to try to interrupt you. So that line was definitely out of left field. I'm pretty sure LeBron's not, you know, very ecstatic about that bar. But seeing that, it's the hottest hip-hop track in the world currently, I think he still make a video not knowing any of the words to it so it's tough to say we have to see what happens with that but shout to pooh shiasty this came out of left field very surprising i want to see
Starting point is 00:11:30 if it could gain if it could keep the same type of traction because what push is currently doing is it's such a outlier that i would like to see if it holds any weight a month from now i'm not hating i just want to see because as far as the the the trend i want to see if he can keep this this stature in the game who knows he could be replacing a certain energy that was left alone or basically taken out of the game because of little dirt being locked up maybe pooh shiasty is filling that gap for the hip hop space but we'll see so with that be it said click my link tree in my bio let me know one of my social medias what do you think about poohsi's first day out and more importantly what do you think about the surprising effect of the masses that pooh shi is having with first day out
Starting point is 00:12:17 slated to be the 30 second most play track in the world and currently the hottest hip hop track in the world
