Starting point is 00:00:03 Time to get into one of my favorite segments, which is giving the way too soon reviews of certain songs. Now, of course, for this rendition, we have our Maloney's, which is the Post Malone fan base, which is definitely not what they want to be called. But, hey, that's what they're being called today. So as far as the track, the specific track, wrong ones, which is the first track off of the album F1 trillion, which if you don't know, is out now in all DSPs, about 18 songs. 57 minutes in length, I believe. Yeah, 57 minutes in length and pause. And marking his official entry into the country music genre after years of hinting at this transition. So the specific track we're getting into is his first track off of the album.
Starting point is 00:00:53 And even this one has a feature. That's probably the one thing I'm upset about as far as the album. I mean, I get it. You're getting into a new genre for the first time. so you may be a little hesitant on if you can carry a whole entire country album by yourself. But goodness, one, two, three, four, five plus five features on the same album. Like, man, at this point, it's just Post Malone and Friends. He should have just titled this, I had some help for real.
Starting point is 00:01:17 Like, what in the world did he think an album was? He just thought this was the whole collaborative effort. And at some point, he wasn't going to have to put out his own tracks. like if you really think about the post malone tracks alone um no pun intended you have what don't belong to me and then you have goodness right about you and yours ladies and gentlemen that is three tracks by himself on an 18 track project anyways let's let's focus on the Let's focus on this one. So wrong ones is basically a collaboration with Tim McGraw.
Starting point is 00:02:05 And the whole overall premise of the track is basically like a bad boy persona. And it's combining Southern Rock feel and highlighting the standout elements of F1 trillion, basically getting into certain vocal approaches when it comes to the rawness and the authentic nature of a country delivery. because if you listen to Morgan Wallen, a very authentic country artist, there's a certain twain that comes with country artists that their, their diatribe is a little different as far as, like, sonically. So when you really talk about the overall song and the overall album, you have to change that to fit that genre. Some people don't. Some people just say, forget it. I'm bringing my own
Starting point is 00:02:55 flare to it. But there is a certain twang you have to have. have in a certain way you speak to seem like it's authentically country music. Hopefully that makes sense. It's like an accent kind of, but in music. So with that being said, the reactions from the Maloney's have been interesting. A lot of people are talking about how it didn't meet the expectations. A lot of people are talking about how this is the greatest thing ever. So you already know we are in way too early for review territory when people,
Starting point is 00:03:28 out here just giving crazy opinions from left and right when the album is basically 57 minutes and i know that some of them probably posted their reviews 20 minutes after halfway not even halfway barely listening to the album so what i would say personally is just to go into it with the open mind listen to it and post malones on my list personally is one of the musicians in the music industry that does not make bad music so i do with that information with you you will but as far as this specific track me at post malone wrong ones the first track off of the album f1 trillion featuring tim mcgraw and with that being said click my link through my bio and let me know one of my social medias what do you think about this particular track wrong ones by post malone
Starting point is 00:04:13 and also if you've listened to the album what is your favorite track
