Cuevo and Ty Dollisine has chosen and have chosen to put out a track that is promoting the new Transformers movie.
Now, of course, I don't have any negative sentiments when it comes to the cross-collaborative effort between a multi-billion dollar franchise and two of our greatest hip-hop musicians.
But the biggest thing I was looking at, as far as the true.
track and as far as the release date for the movie is that the movie actually comes out on a
Monday when the track is already out for everybody to listen to. So whenever considering that fact,
you wonder how big of a marketing push will the actual song be for the movie. If you don't
remember the past as far as Metro Boomin and the amount of marketing performance,
motion he built up for a Spider-Man movie to the point where he was actually in the across-the-spiderverse movie.
He had an entire scene where he had his own Spider-Man costume and that happens in pre-production and when the script is being written.
But still, having a soundtrack promoting the movie and then you actually ending up in the movie, an actual scene in the movie that's still considered.
one of the better Spider-Man movies ever,
it's pretty significant.
So when comparing that to this specific track
for this new movie coming out,
which I don't know if y'all know,
but I've been and still am a huge Transformers fan.
I mean, one of the biggest things you can realize
is that the amount of money
that the franchise has built up,
I mean, it's the 14th highest grossing
film series of all time.
So whenever you're looking at certain records being broken,
as far as the 2007 live action Transformers movie
and how it just went on to just affect the masses, no pun intended,
you always have certain names trying to attach themselves
as far as cross-promotion because guess what?
People are going to go watch Transformers regardless.
Like I think the last transomers,
Transformers movie had dinosaurs in it and people still went to go see it.
Like what does dinosaurs have to do with people changing into,
uh,
or transforming into cars, right?
Like when the dinosaurs get included.
But anyways,
so the only thing I have to say about this track is that it's,
it's fire.
I like it.
It's pretty solid.
It's not your typical tie dollar sign track.
If that makes sense,
like it's more cookie cutter and formulae it.
then we're used to as far as Todd Dahlaston being able to experiment with his sound.
I mean, if you've seen, or if you've heard, Vultures and Voters too,
Todd Dulleson was easily the MVP on both of those albums.
So we know how creative he can get because he had Kanye alongside of him for both of those projects
and he still was a standout.
I mean, production-wise is always going to be Kanye.
But as far as the overall performance and actually executing the verses,
Todd Dalla-San was by far to stand out.
So when you come to this track, which is more formulaic cookie cutter for huge conglomerance,
such as the Transformers franchise and with the actual movie Transformers 1 coming out September 9th,
I think that this is going to do numbers simply for the fact that everybody comes out to watch Transformers no matter what.
So Quavo is also on this track.
And breaking news, I don't know if I don't know if I do.
need like a sound effect for that but apparently for the 15th time quavo and offset have settled their
differences now r p de rich homie kwan i'm definitely going to do a whole entire segment on him
because that's the type of uh respect that needs to be put on the icon like that in the in our
genre but i think you know speculation but i think that may have had something to do with it as far as just
seeing people you grew up with.
I mean, at one point, I think they were saying that rich homie Kwan was like an unofficial
member of the Migos.
I remember they said that about Gucci, Rich Homi Kwan, and then there was somebody else
they said that about, but I forget.
But anyways, the reason why I'm saying this is just because Cuevo and Offset still
living and being at odds when they've given us so many classics together is something
that needs to be pointed out as far as when they say they've put their differences aside because
Quavo basically put up a post not too long ago on his IG saying that he had a good conversation
with his bro offset.
What does that mean?
Hey, your guess is as good as mine.
But as long as peace and prosperity is being driven as far as a narrative, then I'm all here for it.
So hopefully that means that Quavo and Offset settle the differences in.
and came together um for future music uh collaborations but only time would tell right but getting back
to if i fall i think the actual track for the soundtrack will be um probably the fan favorite
because they're using this as a single i mean i'm pretty sure let me see transformer one yeah there's
only the single out i don't think the actual yeah i don't think the entire soundtrack is out but
but so I think this may just be the single for it and um overall if you was wanting to go see the movie
apparently it's just um it's basically Optimus prime and Megatron um being kumbaya
before the actual um nature of the relationship change so if you want to see megatron and
Optimus Prime fight together um I guess this is the movie for you so anyways um that's basically
that's all I have for this specific track I mean it's a
for a movie soundtrack so you already know that's going to get a certain amount of traction
just simply off people watching the movie because if you don't know that counts towards the
points as far as your actual involvement on a track that's why so many people put out music under the
soundtrack for movies i mean why y'all think riana came out why y'all think the only time riana
came out uh the only time riana came out to give us new music was under black panther wakonda why
y'all think that is so anyway uh with that being said click my link tree in my bio let me know
on one of my social medias what do you think about quave on tie dollisans new new uh track titled
if i fall for the new transformers one movie coming out september 9th and do you think is fire
or trash
