Starting point is 00:00:00 pronunciations are bound to get butchered when i'm covering artists from overseas right so canarian singer gravito and musician seco i think that's how you said from granada have released a new track titled brenna berenas brenas i think that's how you said obviously i know i don't speak that language so i feel like that's a more simple term in that language, but somehow I managed to butcher. So hey, there we go. You know what I'm saying? So basically, these two have put out a new single title, I believe. I'm pretty sure I'm still butchering it. And they will be holding a concert. The release coincides with the concert by the creator of the hit song Supernova held
Starting point is 00:00:53 tonight in the bullring of Granada. So not only are they putting out a single, but they're also performing in the bullring of Granada. So with that being said, of course, both of these artists are successful in the own right. They've had previous collaborations and not even previous collaboration. They've had previous collaborative projects, including remixes of Polaris, Jordan 1, and Turbulinous, Turbulincius. I think as I say it. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:01:30 Like I said, pronunciations are definitely going to get butcher. But Quavito, of course, is continuing his growth as an artist as for being such a new artist and also being nominated for the 2023 Latin Grammy Awards. He's already one of the more notable artists in the Latin music space. Of course, you have a lot like Paisal Pluma. You have Bazaar. You have a lot of different, let me see. You have annual.
Starting point is 00:02:01 I'm trying to think of other artists. There's a lot of artists, but sometimes, obviously, with my new coverage of Latin music, it's difficult to retain all the names, you know what I mean? So, I mean, Carol G is another one. Pace of Plum is probably my favorite. Not going to lie, so I'm pretty biased towards him. But in general, he's nominated for the 2023 Latin Grammy Awards, and he has nominated in the categories of Best Fusion.
Starting point is 00:02:30 slash urban interpretation recording and best urban songs for his track Bazaar music sessions, Volume 52 Con Besurbs. So I think that was with a bizarre. And I'm probably, you know, butchering, but you know, you get the premise. He's worldwide successful, which is why these type of releases are now crossing over to the coverage of the states. Because I would like to say, as far as my coverage of Latin music, it's, A step above the rest as I cover a plethora of artists, like I just said, with Paisa Pluma and You Well, of course, Bad Bunny. It's just a lot that comes through that goes unnoticed from the Latin music field.
Starting point is 00:03:13 But all of these musicians in the States are now trying to collaborate with the likes of a Paiso Pluma or other musicians because of the notoriety starting to cross over into the United States charts. because if you don't know to get RIAA certification, you need a certain amount of streams not only where you're from, but in the States. So it's harder for overseas artists to get certain certifications from RIAA for gold, platinum, and diamond if they're not streaming in the States. Because you need at least like 10 million streams in the States and then you can count whatever you have overseas. But you need a certain amount in the States even be considered for RIAA certification. And that's the plaques that you see every artist bragging about whenever their track goes gold, platinum, or sometimes diamond. So anyways, on the other hand, you have Seiko, who he did this track with. And he is from Grenada, of course, or Granada, tomato, tomato, I don't know.
Starting point is 00:04:17 But he's also had success, of course, collaborating with the likes of J.C. Reyes and Lola Indigo. His track Supernova, which he pays tribute to Melendi, of Lexington. said that right has garnered over 70 million Spotify streams and three million YouTube views so of course he has a fan base in his own right so it's not like Corvito's just out him doing a favor and it's not like Seiko's just out him doing a favor it's really like a fusion you know a Dragon Ball Z type clout fusion for this track Brennis so at the end of the day um Seiko they're going to tour I believe it sold out within minutes granted it was free but hey Selling out a concert, selling out concert, I guess.
Starting point is 00:05:03 So it's basically here, I believe. Oh, also, it's rumored that Quervito will be joining Seiko in his tour finale. And they will be performing their song together for the first time. But so far, they've only had teasers of them performing together during their live Riviera concert. And the preview of the track was circulating on social media. But this would be the third song. which they collaborate following the previous work on Jordan 1 March 2022 and the remix of Polaris earlier this summer. So obviously they've seen that the formula of them collaborating on a track is working on the charts.
Starting point is 00:05:47 So why not keep doing it? And with that being said, click my link to your bio. Let me know in one of my social medias. What do you think about my overall coverage of Latin music in general? And more specifically, what do you think of quavito and sacos latest? single titled Brenness.
