Starting point is 00:00:00 You know, seeing how Cuevo and Offsay ended up, granted, when it used to be a magnificent slash classic slash iconic group, I'm not really mad at Ray Schremer taking some time to try out their solo careers to come back and once again combine the efforts for Ray Schremer. Because it seems like Slim Jimmy and Sway Lee are. on the best of terms currently as they are slated, I think that's the word, for April 7th to put out their new album called Shrem for Life. Now, I don't know how many times they're going to keep saying Shrem and putting the number that's the subsequent album. that's how you said.
Starting point is 00:00:59 So as in addition to the album title, they always let you know what number they're on by putting it in the middle of Shrem. You know, that's a very interesting
Starting point is 00:01:09 tactic, but it's one of those that I'm willing to live with because let me tell you, Ray Shremwood is back again with another one. Now, I'm not saying this is the greatest thing
Starting point is 00:01:20 since sliced bread. I'm just saying that this track, Tenisha, I don't know who Tanishi is, but let's just say, say i don't know if you broke their heart or you put a lot of love into their heart but you just got turned into a song that a lot of people are going to be repeating for for um i don't know how long
Starting point is 00:01:44 is they're going to be repeating it all i know is i feel like this track is is very fitting for a ticot video now i know a lot of people are going to be like what you mean is like it's not no bubble gum type music i think there's certain points in this track that's that can that can be specifically used by a lot of popular TikTok artists that can uplift the sales as far as this track. Because if you don't know now, I think Spotify's going to start
Starting point is 00:02:10 putting out like the TikTok thing on artist's profile. So like TikTok is becoming a real monster when it comes to promoting your music. And let's just say there's a reason why people are trying to
Starting point is 00:02:27 get it banned in the United States. Like it's really a lot of things in the terms and conditions, which is one thing that, you know, they allow, they are allowed, or basically you allow them by clicking it to take all type of information. But that's not what we're talking about. Let me get back on topic. So basically, Ray Shremmer has been away for a while now. If you don't even remember, which I even forgot, I had to look at it up myself.
Starting point is 00:02:54 The last time the Ray Shriver put out an album was in 2018. It is 2023. But they're still relevant. So that's the thing that is working or is going for them. You know, the fans are here still waiting for music from Ray Schumer. And I think, okay, yeah, Mike Will just said it. Okay, so Mike Will and Farrell worked on this new single. Now, if that's not a recipe for success, I don't know what it is.
Starting point is 00:03:23 And to also have Swaley and Slim Jimmy to be the artist over this Mike Will and Farrell produced track. I mean, honestly, I'm mashed in heaven. and when you listen to the track, it makes sense why it sounds so good. Obviously, Ray Shremmer, they bring their unique flavor to the track. But when you have Mike Will and Ferrell producing your track, I mean, like, come on now. It's only so much that can go wrong. So what I wanted to point out was the huge hiatus with Ray Shremmer. I don't know if it was any personal beef between Swaley and Slim Jimmy.
Starting point is 00:03:54 It seems to not have been throughout that 2018-2023 hiatus, but you know, never know nowadays. I mean, I never knew, I never thought I'll see the day when Cuevo and Offset wouldn't be on great, wouldn't be on the same page. And obviously, you know, takeoff passed away, RIP to takeoff. But there's a lot of stuff coming out that, you know, Cuevo and Opset would have been good or even thought about, you know, reconciling even after passing of takeoff. So that's just unfortunate in, in every sense of the word, because it's like if a passing doesn't bring you together, then I don't know what will. So as Ray Shremmer keeps going with their longevity type of career being a group,
Starting point is 00:04:39 I just hope we'll never see the day where Sway Lee and Slim Jimmy have that type of riff in their relationship. Hopefully they stay together for the long haul because, man, I thought the Migos was just destined to be together forever. And to see the way they ended was, like I say, it was sad because I mean, we got a whole Quavo and takeoff album before Takeoff passed away. So it was like, obviously I'm not like, oh, we got music from him. So I don't care if he passed away. It's not what I'm saying. I'm basically saying like, and it's funny how life works.
Starting point is 00:05:16 It's kind of like that album was like a tribute to take off after he passed away. I don't know if y'all feel the same way. But that Quavo and Takeoff album kind of feel like a tribute to take off after he passed away because there was a lot of stuff on that album like Hotel Lobby where Takeoff shined. as he usually is not able to when it's all three of D'Amico. So I think it was, obviously, I'm not saying, like it was like perfect timing for him to pass away. I'm just saying that hopefully I get what I'm saying.
Starting point is 00:05:43 Like, I just feel like the way that Cuevo always looked out for takeoff, it was reflected in the music even after he passed away. So anyways, I say all that to say that I hope Ray Schumer keeps the longevity going with making quality music, which it seems like it is, with Tunisia, but you know, the public will be able to come to a consensus on how they feel about the track. But personally, I love it. I think this track is fire. I think it's going to go up the charts. I don't know where Ray Schremerit is in the tier of musicians nowadays because, you know, sales are just, the algorithm is just ever-changing to try to find out what works and what doesn't.
Starting point is 00:06:28 So we're going to see how it performs. Personally, I love this track. So click my link to my bio. Let me know one of my social medias. What do you think about the track, Tunisia from Ray Shremard? And are you excited for the fourth group album coming out, April 7th?
