Starting point is 00:00:00 Shepard promise me you'll tell them to subscribe for ad free content Shepard just look at the state of gaming like what is going on without you I would have lost it all but now I see how you were there for me I can say shepherd all right my fault my fault my fault yeah I probably wondering to yourself you guys I probably like I know that ain't who I think it is no Ladies and gentlemen, you are not in the church service. I just wanted to start off like that because guess what, man? But then, you know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 00:00:45 I was like, Tim, look. Guess what? Sad day in history when we have to dive into Ubisoft and the very excruciating tactics that they took just for this game to be available to the masses. Shepherd, just look at the state of gaming. Like, what is going on? Now you probably think of it to yourself.
Starting point is 00:01:05 Dreams what in the world? Are you talking about? Well, I'm glad you asked. As we're going to dive into, of course, Rainbow Six Seed, the mobile version in the second, but really is his own thing. So Rainbow Six Mobile, we're going to dive into that in a second. But we have to look at it in totality from a bird's eye view because, of course, the developer, the publisher Ubisoft, let's just say they did some things that nobody is happy with.
Starting point is 00:01:30 I just don't like it, man. Yeah, that's what I just say. I just don't like that shit, man. Man, don't nobody like the way that Ubisoft is moving right now, but I'm here to break it down like a kilo of Miley Cyrus. So without further ado, let's start with Ubisoft back in 2024 to 2026. Very short and simple. I'm not going to elongate the story. Basically, Ubisoft is having some egregious ways of handling its employers as when it comes to 2024 to 26, Ubisoft faced severe challenges, right?
Starting point is 00:02:01 From a monetary standpoint, they dropped 80. a little below 80% in 2018, no, from the 2018 peak due to delays, such as Assassin Creek Shadows, if you remember that whole debacle, Star Wars outlaws, which hopefully y'all don't forget. I say hopefully y'all don't forget. The first ever Star Wars Open World Game was fumbled by who? You guessed it. Ubisoft. I know that ain't who I think it is.
Starting point is 00:02:32 So safe to say, the monetary value and the revenue dropped expeditiously. And of course, when it came into the year of 2025, the net bookings fell 34.8%. And of course, in quarter three of 2025, it dropped even more. And when you look at the overall restructuring solution that the higher-ups felt would be necessary to combat this type of fall. in revenue they basically cut 1500 plus jobs you guys see that's the problem and of course the reason why I'm saying this before we dive into the mobile game is because the studio responsible for this game yes I know plot twist the studio responsible for this game was laid off right before release shepherd just look at the state of gaming like what is going on so this mobile game the
Starting point is 00:03:31 development team for this mobile game basically they thought to themselves I've had enough for Ubisoft we've been to retaliate and go on strike so they had a whole developer's union Ubisoft Halifax hopefully I'm saying it right which supported this game this mobile game that is out now right now um basically they unionize and when it comes to this they was pursuing legal recourse because what? Ubisoft decided to close how to Halifax Studio on January 7th. Ladies and gentlemen, this mobile game came out February 23rd, 26. Now, I know what you probably think of to you.
Starting point is 00:04:10 So, well, how did the game still come out if they closed the studio? I'm glad you asked. Basically, Ubisoft had enough. Now, they claimed this wasn't because of them unionizing, but come on now. When it comes to the occurrence of them being let off weeks after the studio unionized, some will say that's a that's a peculiar coincidence that's a very interesting quinky thing don't you don't you think as when the employees filed for certification in june 25 and on December 18 2025 and the uh the nova scotia scotia scotia i think it's scotia i don't know if i'm pronouncing that right anyways the label board
Starting point is 00:04:56 certified the union right the game and media workers give of Canada and the CWA Canada local of 31 whatever that is I don't know what that word I don't know what that label is and of course 61 of 71 workers which is 74% voted yes it became Ubisoft's first North American Unionized studio and guess what Ubisoft said to themselves who they do they said to the workers who they do and shut them down expeditiously but then you know what sounds like 10 look so anyways after was laid off, right, unemployed. They basically had a dispute calling the time is suspicious. Well, don't you think? Blonsided. And basically, the CWA Canada filed a labor board complaint
Starting point is 00:05:44 accusing Ubisoft of closing to avoid a union potentially for it being potentially illegal under Canadian law. And they pursued legal recourse rallied for reopening as far as January 29th, 2026, and criticized initial post. closure talks as inadequate. Ubisoft, of course, denied the anti-union motive, linking it to broader cost optimization starting post-pandemic. Now, ladies and gentlemen, that's what the story is. I know what you're saying.
Starting point is 00:06:17 I know what you're saying. That's what the story is, because guess what Ubisoft kept going. Ubisoft kept going. They said we're going to lay off all our workers and just do this ourselves. So basically, they consolidated, which is why this game still came out. but of course when it comes to the development studio of this mobile game that we're about to dive into, I wanted to give you the backstory on how a corporation will have you do all the work in building, not only building, but laying the foundation, building it to the point of release,
Starting point is 00:06:46 and then they'll just let you off. Shepard, just look at the state of gaming. Like, what is going on? So the state of gaming is very in an interesting state, as you can put out a game immensely respected like this one, as we're about to dive into right now as rainbow six the mobile game is essentially notoriously affecting the masses now i kept telling you you was going to put way more respect on a mobile gamer community because i feel like not a lot of people is doing that especially covering the entire gaming industry i thought to myself
Starting point is 00:07:19 mobile gaming connoisseurs are supporting the entire gaming industry like no other platform and if you don't believe me objectively speaking as far as 2026 from censor tower mobile is currently responsible for 103 billion as far as revenue in the gaming industry guess how much console and pc is consul's 46 billion and pc is 40 billion i know that ain't who i think it is so when you look at console and pc gamers and the immense popularity when it comes to being one of those versus being a mobile gamers, safe to say a lot more money is in mobile gaming, but guess what? The world may not tell you that. Shepard, just look at the state of gaming.
Starting point is 00:08:02 Like, what is going on? One day, I have a dream that all mobile gamers would get respected like, I, my fault, I ain't going to go on my speech right now. But basically, y'all get the point. Mobile games are just completely disrespectful. That's why I want to put way more respect on their name. So anyways, speaking of putting respect on their name, let me let them in on another game that they should probably try out as Tom.
Starting point is 00:08:23 clancy's rainbow six mobile has finally released yes after years of delays and of course from twenty twenty four to twenty five to twenty six i mean multiple delays right because it was announced to 2022 right alpha beta a beta test in twenty twenty three soft launch to asia slash um well yeah just asia in uh twenty four to twenty five but then it got delayed multiple times but now it is officially here ladies gentlemen which is why which is why which is why we got to pay our respects never could have made us without you
Starting point is 00:09:02 that day in history man all those developers got laid off and they was crunching to the point where this was able to be released because they thought this was never going to see the day of see the light of day they literally thought they never was going to make it so anyways
Starting point is 00:09:17 when it comes to the platforms this specific game is on Apple, it's on Google and of course When you look at the gameplay loop, if you're familiar with Rainbow 6s, you already get this. But if you aren't, that's what this breakdown is for it. So it's a 5B5 multiplayer FBS, free to play, mind you. Of course, when you look at the momentum, and well, no, let's stick with the overall mechanics.
Starting point is 00:09:42 So when it comes to the mechanics, it's 5B5, attack versus defense, 10-minute matches, right? Fully, PVP, no campaign, no story mode. If you're not trying to play against another player, then guess what? Who do you do? then guess what don't hop on the game so a lot of the game modes are of diverse as far as bomb which is plant slash defuse bomb rush which is a squirt variant um team death match quick play ranked in private matches so they have a plethora of game modes for you you know so when you come when it comes to shooters in a mobile gaming format safe to say this is definitely going to be a standout
Starting point is 00:10:18 as if you look at um make sure to go to analytic dreams make sure to go to analytic dreams video on spot if you haven't already as right now i'm going to put up the top mobile games currently in the year of uh knowing the month of march in 2026 so as you can see right here analytic dreams video on spotify to see the video along with the audio um this specific game this specific game is currently in number 10 now of course these are a lot of different uh sources i use i just basically constrapulated is that the word basically i took all of it put it together and then this is basically the concise list from a lot of different reports as as you can see we've covered a lot of these mobile games but rainbow six siege as you can see right here i'm making a little cursing you know dreams the
Starting point is 00:11:07 teacher you know me anyways um it's a new release so a lot of the downloads are definitely notoriously affected the masses to the point they made it to the top 10 so once again i'm just going to put this up one more time so just in case you just wanted to see this so one more time let me just so as you can tell as you can see rainbow six mobile is currently notoriously affecting masses out the gate so shout out to them for that even though it is bittersweet because the studio that developed this game for the majority of the time definitely got laid off but at the end of the day the game is pretty solid and people are respecting it by giving it their time and attention so getting back into the gameplay loop so when you're looking at the operators it launched you with
Starting point is 00:11:51 24 to 26 plus operators examples for people who play Rainbow 6 like Ash, the attacker. Do Khabi. I don't know. How you pronounce it? Attacker. Nehamute, the defender. And Siege currently has 70 plus operators. And the mobile version is rolling out one a month.
Starting point is 00:12:11 So at some point, it will get to the point of the console versions. But of course, I don't think Snake for Metal Gear Salet, I don't think he's coming anytime soon. I think right now, there's. just trying to get the original um roster so we're going to get to maps in a second i want to go back into the sales aspect of this game because guess what it launched at a phenomenal trajectory as pre-launch momentum it was 18 plus million pre-registration right like i said this game been delayed multiple times so that's why the number so high so now when the game comes out you wonder who's going to play it as soon as it's available and guess what it was a lot of people to the point where
Starting point is 00:12:48 not only did they come out in droves but in total revenue it garnered 183,000 and of course looking at the sales objectively speaking compared to other shooters rainbow six is one of the more premium shooters on the market as a franchise is garnered over 3.8 billion right as far as his lifetime says. as far as the Rainbow 6 IP, which is a little under the shoot. Well, I say a little. It's a lot under shooters like Call of Duty, which is 30 billion plus Fortnite which is 20 to 24 billion. CSGO which is 1 billion. You get the point right, well, one billion plus prizes. So it may be a little, well, no, it's definitely over CSGO,
Starting point is 00:13:40 but just putting it in perspective. So Apex Legends is 3.4 billion. Valor is 34 million in prizes, I believe. So when you look at it in total, the rainbow six is definitely one of the most notorious shooter franchises in the gaming market so it's definitely a big dog in his own right so that's why our mobile version came so getting back into the gameplay loop i definitely wanted to dive into the shooters for a second because of course when people look at the mobile version they probably think of themselves why i could just play the the
Starting point is 00:14:10 console version but the developers specifically wanted you to know that this is not a port this is specifically made for a mobile such as the hood controls movement system etc this is not just some lazy port from console to mobile they built this from the ground up to be a mobile standalone rainbow six experience so a lot of the reported um a lot of the reports from first impressions is that people are enjoying the game of course when it comes to the mobile gaming aspect as far as the actual touchpad controls it's not the greatest when compared to consoles but of course there's a workaround as if you connect your controller via Bluetooth or a cord which is what I like to do because you know you have adapters where you can connect your
Starting point is 00:14:58 yeah you can have multiple connections to connect your controller to your phone but anyways or you could just go to Bluetooth either one works and the main thing is when it comes to the FPS you can have more of a console like experience if you connect your controller to your phone now don't kill the messenger but if you connect you connect you your controller to your phone. You may be having a wonderful experience in taking out them little Timmy's. I'm just saying, little Timmy's,
Starting point is 00:15:25 they just get our preschool, elementary, whatever, they try to hop on a game, have a fun experience, and guess what? A whole sweat with a controller on the phone is taking away their enjoyment. You guys. See, that's the problem. So don't tell them where you heard it from,
Starting point is 00:15:41 but that's one of the best ways to experience I'm overshooter, not going to lie to you. Connect your controller, and you may be the second. can come in as far as a professional rainbow six player so anyways as far as the monetization model you probably wondering because it is free to play you know of course they have a battle pass um they're going to have monthly seasons cosmetic unlock so they're treating this like you know comparing it to the popular the most popular format which is a fortnight as far as a free to play aspect is following that same type of format so just know they're going to support this game for quite some time
Starting point is 00:16:16 especially the way that's percolating on the charts right now like i just showed you as top 10 a mobile game downloads and it just came out so as far as it being a new game we're going to see if it's able to hold that retention as far as this player account currently in the mobile gaming aspect but of course when you look at the totality of the better street moment of the development studio being laid off and then the game that they worked on being very well received is is such a hot and cold aspect of the gaming industry. Yes, a phenomenal shooter is available for mobile gamer connoisseurs out there, but at what cost? Shepard, just look at the state of gaming. Like, what is going on? It's almost like Thanos at the end of Infinity War when little Gamora
Starting point is 00:17:06 walked up to Thanos and asked him, what did it cost? And guess what? Ubisoft basically said everything, because they laid off a plethora of individuals. I mean, they laid off everybody and they mama and still put out what they was working on so interestingly enough you probably wondering why ubysoft would do this is primarily to save money it's always about money when it comes to ubysop you know as far as accountability i'm not going to say it's lacking all i'm gonna say is instead of looking inside at themselves as far as dropping one of the worst fumbles in gaming history when it comes to star wars outlaws the first once again the first ever star wars open world game and they fumbled it so the studio being responsible for that instead of being like you know what maybe we need to look at our higher
Starting point is 00:17:52 ups and have some restructuring they laid off the multiple studios that was working on games like rainbow six mobile now how does that make sense the world may never know so it was always a monetary play um um Ubisoft reportedly saved around 200 million because if you don't know usually the main expense is uh your workforce as far as staff and employers so I know employees so when you look at them now, of course, we're going to face a lot of lawsuits, like I just said, the current lawsuit that's going on with Halifax having a union. And when it comes to the other lawsuits, I mean, they're going to be having union retaliation. They're going to be dealing with that for quite some time because even though Ubisoft denied it,
Starting point is 00:18:37 saying they been had this in the works pre-unionization, it still hasn't had a solution. but the proven motive you know proving a motive for the union will be difficult but I think it's a it's definitely an important battle when it comes to the overall gaming landscape we can't just have these development studios using you for your work and then throwing you to the wayside whenever you're finished with a game so I didn't want to make this too morbid but at the end of the day I did want to give it to you in totality so you know exactly what's going on with the entire release of this game but let's end it off with some some little familiar as of course we dive into the sales and review roundup of you know different
Starting point is 00:19:20 games that's released around the clock so when it comes to this specific game the review roundups a lot of people giving it high price uh tap tap gave it a nine out of 10 saying tested the oh well quote tested the earlier beta version and played the global release it's a good tactical shooter game ported to mobile the graphics of the game is generic nothing special about it wow It got some good details and lighting similar to other FPS games. The UI is slow. He put there in all caps, ladies and gentlemen. The devs did not address this problem in the beta.
Starting point is 00:19:56 Waring, actions in the menu needs a loading time, which is abrasive. Gameplay is fast and action pack. A higher skill ceiling is required. That's also in all caps, ladies and gentlemen. Due to advanced planning and positioning of your team and gadgets, Well, for 9 out of 10, that's a pretty honest review. Okay, so then we have some other reviews. I'm trying to see if we can find any.
Starting point is 00:20:25 We have an app store review. Let me see. So this person, I don't know if I want to do individual app reviews. I want to do like big corporations. Let me see. Muted Gamer said, quote, I have, well, gave it an 8 at 10. I have uploaded my review here. Well, I mean, that's apparent.
Starting point is 00:20:43 I know I've missed many things. So I'll share only them here. About game play, I like it a lot. I haven't played Rainbow Six franchise, so I haven't experienced something like this, hence, this was new to me and getting used to it. About controls, comma, I feel confusing. But if played every day, can get used to it,
Starting point is 00:21:05 so that's not the concern. About device support, comma. By looking at minimum requirement, it feels like many devices might run, but I don't know about that. Let me know in the comments how it is playing. on your device why ain't okay out to you these seem like some personal reviews i was really one uh actual conglomerates let me see if i could actually find one because i think i had a couple up here
Starting point is 00:21:29 but these are like personal which i guess for mobile you want to hear from the actual people and this is a review roundup segment so um try see if let's see so i guess the medic critic is too early or too recent or whatever oh okay that makes sense because you know i guess people could uh review bomb or whatever so we don't really have a lot of reviews from major conglomerates so we just have personal reviews and for the most part people are enjoying it so all right let's dive into one more person in review okay so we have uh the centipy from tap tap quote repetitive nothing to game wow everything cool is behind a paywall wow he is not holding me the free stuff gets duplicated all the time fell to rookie since didn't play it for a while
Starting point is 00:22:11 and got matched with diamonds or higher i don't know man got to wait for global release i guess all right so This is before the action release. But he still gave it. What do you give it? He still gave it a 7.5 at 10. There's really no score lower than a 7. So just to let you know, even though if people have problems with it, they still think it's a solid game.
Starting point is 00:22:29 But let's get to one of the more perfect reviews. Well, not reviews, but one of the more perfect scores from a personal player. So Carnish Keeper. You think he is Spider-Man fan? Anyways. Quote, great graphics and awesome gameplay. Other than that, the multiple times I had finished around with zero kills because I die immediately to aim
Starting point is 00:22:50 assist hit shot demons, that that boy was definitely not playing on console. You guys. I mean, he was definitely not playing on a console controller. You guys. See, that's the problem. All right, so that was pretty cool. But that was just basically the personal reviews for the specific game. But at the end of the day,
Starting point is 00:23:05 definitely play it for yourself. Just wanted to give you the review roundup, dive into the sales specifically for Rainbow 6, Mobile Version, and of course, talk about the overall trajectory of Ubisoft, because there's a lot going on right now over at ubsaw i mean we've broken down a lot of ubsop news and of course if you just type in ubsaw analytic dreams with a z you'll see all the different stories from ubsop being uh from
Starting point is 00:23:30 specifically ubysov laying off a lot of people amidstructure um three former ubsop execs found guilty of it oh yeah that was a that was a story let's just say yeah we've doved to the ubysop a lot you know ubosov share follows 17% after it delays launch of new with sassar creed that was back that was back in uh december 11th 2024 so i've been covering ubysaw for a while and what i continue to see as far as a pattern is that ubysaw fails to realize that higher quality games is going to equal you paying your employers and so you laying people off it's not going to leave a good taste in people's and employers and game developers mouths because why would they develop a solid game for you if you're just going to lay them out
Starting point is 00:24:18 if you're just going to lay them off right before the game they was working on comes out for the revenue to go straight to you, which is exactly what happened with Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Mobile. So with that being said, click my link, shoot in my bio, let me know on one of my social medias. What do you think about Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six mobile version? And of course, at the end of day, if you've played this game or if you played other shooters along with this game, do you think this is one of the better shooters on the mobile market currently? and what is your favorite what is your favorite thing
Starting point is 00:24:49 about playing rainbow six mobile
