Starting point is 00:00:04 Getting into one of the major players in the Latin community, of course, Raw Alejandro has a new album out now on all DSPs titled COSA Nuestra. Hopefully I said that right. When it comes to Raw, of course, analytic dreams, notorious mass effect, has a lot of coverage of this particular artist for the simple fact that when it comes to Latin music, I've been getting more into the depths of, of what makes the culture tick as far as the major players in it because of course you have hip hop and then that was my main focus primarily and then you realize that a lot of people love to hear just the overall music landscape so with that being considered um and the amount of effort that goes into the stuff i put together i was like why not touch the entire music scene because of me knowing that i'll be doing it's uh it right it pause as far as just giving you the right information
Starting point is 00:01:04 when it comes to research. So, of course, I've covered him a plethora of times throughout the years of the podcast. I mean, touching this guy, No Hay-Laparte, too, the bizarre obsession with him, and then Rosalia track. Those are all the segments that I had with Raw Alejandro, which if you just look up Raw Alejandro, analytic dreams, it should pop up. Even though I'm butchering his name, it's R-A-U-W-A-Lahandra. I'll let you figure out how to spell Alejandro.
Starting point is 00:01:35 So anyways, a lot of interesting features on this album. That's what I wanted to get to. Now, Bad Bunny is on this album, Ferrell is on this album, Feed is on this album, and it's one hour and seven minutes in an 18-track body of work. I mean, that is a pretty hefty album, if I do say so myself. Obviously, when you're as successful Alejandro, then it makes sense because now you're under Sony Music Entertainment on their exclusively. license from Duar's entertainment. So with that being said, there's a lot of people who's helping out
Starting point is 00:02:08 with the marketing strategy. And overall, you can see that when it comes to the music video, when it comes to the tracks, the albums. This is his fifth studio album so that now people understand that he's obviously a major player in the game because it's not like this is his first rodeo. So with Bad Bunny, Ferrell being on the album, I definitely would have to check out those tracks, even though I'm going to listen to the album in its entirety, regardless. But as far as the music video, you know, shout out to Kaizenat because not saying he invented it or started it or whatever, but it's a very interesting inspiration from the Alejandro side of things because not only is Kaizenat doing the whole Mafiathon thing
Starting point is 00:02:53 with the Twitch event, but also you have Alejandro having a 70s, mafia type of inspiration with the visual elements promoting this album. So with the album also tying back into lyrical elements that touches on the 70s mafia inspiration, it's apparent that it's more of an overall concept album that he put a lot of effort into because if you don't know, more of the Bichata tempo style music. as far as on this album, I would say would come from like a bad bunny, a feed, and yeah, probably those particular artists,
Starting point is 00:03:42 I think they're getting to the Batchata bag a lot more often as far as throughout the verse. But when it comes to the mafia hints in the lyrics, hinting towards just a subtle mafia style references, I think is very apparent and makes it to where you understand that he been planning out this album for quite a lot. quite a while. I mean, if you look at it, the last time this man put out an album was in July 7th, 2023 with the album Player Saturno. And then fast forward to November 15th, 2024 is when we get
Starting point is 00:04:22 his official fifth studio album. So he took some time with this one. He did have multiple albums last year, but of course for this year, he only has one body of work, but it is an hour and seven minutes. So best believe me, with the hour and seven minutes, it makes sense because if you don't know, on the production side of things, he has about 15 plus producers, which is showcasing his want to diversify the sound and overall quality of the body of work, because you never want every single track to sound the same, which in the Latin community, they do a great job at like switching up the tempoes and just definitely getting into the bag when it comes into different styles but then you know claiming it as their own so because he he will also have
Starting point is 00:05:12 other like reggae tone and you know high energy tracks that you could easily dance to and then he will switch it up with more of an electro urban twist as far as a um say few one of the tracks off the album more of an inspiration from Laura Pesini Pissani? I think it's Pissini. Pause. Is that pause? Or is that just? Yeah, I'm just ignorant.
Starting point is 00:05:43 Anyway, it's 1993 classic from her. It's more of an inspiration when it comes to the Safe You track off of the album. But obviously, I can keep going on and on about Raw Alejandro because I've talked about him multiple times and I've talked about how he's a major player, especially on the charts. I mean, when he puts out of the track, it definitely impacts the masses as far as the overall trajectory of specific tracks.
Starting point is 00:06:05 So with that being said, of course, there's a lot of competition when it comes to first week sales because everybody is vying for your attention, whether they know it or not, you know, people who's listening to this right now could be listening to anybody in the world. But of course, you know, as far as what you choose to do with your time is your choice. So that's why I always appreciate people who come through and support. So the reason why I say that is because Lincoln Park just dropped their heavy metal album, which is highly anticipated. Sean Mandez just dropped his album, which is highly anticipated. And then, of course, you have Tate McCrae, who just dropped two electro pop singles.
Starting point is 00:06:50 So you have to deal with that as well. And then, you know, in general, you have the rest of the Latin music field putting out music. and you never know which one of those singles or albums are going to pop off on the charts. So when it comes to that, everybody knows that Alejandro is definitely going to showcase a lot of love and honor to his roots as far as his love for Latin music and just overall elevating the overall Latin community. So with that being said, click my link, sure in my bio. Let me know on one of my social media is.
Starting point is 00:07:22 What do you think about Ra Alejandro and his 18-track offering titled Kosa? Costa Nuestra and ultimately when you listen to the album what is your favorite track
