Starting point is 00:00:00 Talking about an artist that we've covered in the past on this podcast, specifically, Ra Alejandro, as I've talked about this artist as far as all the way back on March 24th, 2023, as far as his track, Basso with Rosalia. And now he is back again late July of this year to put out his new single Buenos Terminos. Now, with this specific track, is more of an Afro-Caribbean-inspired. Soth tree is I say soul tree soul tree Latin pop there we go ahead it had to pronounce it I'm saying I'd spell it out but anyways Raws back in it back again and of course he attached the music video to this Buenos track and this is directed by Martin
Starting point is 00:00:49 Saple and El Zoro so would that be considered just know that the overall marketing promotion of this specific track is under Sony music entertainment which if you don't know for Ross specifically he doesn't have any particular tracks that's going up specifically in Mexico or the billboard charts as a whole but of course covering him in the past a plethora of times he's definitely had a lot of tracks that's hit the charts and if you don't know he just most recently had um his carita linda track that i covered as far as this specific year and late of 2024 he was with bad bunny for the track k paceria pasaria pasaria i think this i say So getting back into Raw Alejandro, trying to talk about his albums, because I believe his latest album, let me see.
Starting point is 00:01:41 So his latest album, like I said earlier, was COSA Newestra. Actually, I didn't say that yet. So this came out November 15th, 2024. So this was his latest offering. So if you're a raw fan thinking he's going to put out an album soon, I would definitely, you know, pump your breaks. As when it comes to a follow-up to an album. being released late in 2024 let's just say I feel like it takes a little bit more time than that to put out a project so I wouldn't expect anything as far as a total body of work from
Starting point is 00:02:12 Alejandro anytime soon but currently when it comes to Corita Linda that was released April of this year and that was more of the traditional Puerto Rican bamba music and then when it comes to furthering Ross embrace of the Afro-Caribbean roots that's how we transition and into Brennos Terminos. So for the Alejandro avid fans out there, he's also going on tour, October of this year, on the Costa Nuestra World Tour. And as far as the tour details,
Starting point is 00:02:48 he is going to South America and Mexico as far as the specific regions. Now, specifically, where is he going to be? I'll definitely go to his specific site to see where he's going to perform at if he was wanting to go watch him perform. I'm just letting you know when his tour. horror is continuing. It's continuing October of this year. So if you're avid,
Starting point is 00:03:07 a Alejandro fan, I'll definitely look out for that. Also, when it comes to the COSA Nuestra album, it definitely did phenomenal in my opinion. And of course, having artists on it, like Bad Bunny, Farrell, Feed, Romeo Santos, it definitely showcased that he has a massive respect, not only in the Latin community, but also the music industry in general. And of course, putting out Caritos, Tumbados, and then of course making Afro-Caribbean inspired music is very interesting as it just definitely showcases the range of an artist like Ra Alejandro and also showcases why people come to his tour and watch him perform day in and day out. So ultimately when it comes to him, there's a reason why I've covered him several times over the course of two years and really just the, um, the, um, the, inception of a podcast, right? Getting into the Latin community is really something
Starting point is 00:04:04 that I pride myself on. And definitely, I feel like the supporters, the new supporters specifically from Mexico that really enjoyed my coverage of their specific artists. I think they ultimately appreciate the way that I deep dive into their artist, letting them know what type of tracks are affecting the masses,
Starting point is 00:04:20 you know, pun intended off of the podcast name. And also showcasing why I believe they're doing well on the charts. And when it comes to Ra Alejandro, I think the consistency, the appreciation from bigger artists than himself as far as Bad Bunny and Farrell to come down and do a track with him and to feature on his body of work and his tracks, I think he has a level of respect in the industry that carries over into actual analytical success
Starting point is 00:04:48 on the charts. So with this latest track, Buenos Aires, I think that's no different. So that being said, click my link to you in my bio. Let me know one of my social medias. What do you think about Raha Alejandro's latest track Brino's Treminos and ultimately do you think that he's one of the more diverse artists in the Latin community
