Now even though this particular artist does not have a track out in 2025, we are still talking about her.
Why? Because there's a particular track that came out October 8th, 2024, that to this day is still the 79th most played track in the world.
And it's made a resurgence even though it came out in October 24.
So the particular artist I'm talking about is Raven Lanay as the track Love Me Not is the 79th most played track in the world.
But of course, with it coming out last year, that leads a lot of speculation to how her rise to fame happened and a year after the track was put out.
Well, of course, when it came out, it did solid as far as numbers.
but the main thing was the notice of no media placements there's really nothing driving the track as far as
a major machine behind it it just organically blew up on tic talk and like i always say if you're a musician
and you're not using ticot as far as as as as far as this algorithm as a tool to promote your music
you are overall not being serious about being commercially successful as an artist now if you just want to put
music out there that's fine but as far as trying to encaptivate the masses musically if you're not
using ticot then guess what you're behind and you're ultimately going to fall into a repetitive cycle
of nobody checking out your music because like i always say when i get into market share others
as far as the smaller labels and the independence account for 7% of the entire 100% music
market share like i always say umg currently has 54% of the
of the music market share Sony has 28% and now Warner has 11%.
Interestingly enough, this track is under Atlantic Recording Corporation.
So somebody somewhere saw the organic push on TikTok and decided to give her a certain push
as far as a marketing, marketing budget and a plan to blow up her numbers as she showed up at
Coachella making her debut for a first time ever, she was.
on Coachella a year after that particular track that she blew up with she ended up making Coachella
and performing her track Love Me Not. Also, she opened up for Sabrina Carpenter, which we all know
the type of wave that Sabrina is having right now. As she, Sabrina currently has the six most
player album in the world with her album short and sweet. And then when it comes to tracks,
Sabrina currently has three tracks in the top of hundred with the lowest performance.
performing track on the charts being busy woman with that being the 70s the 72nd most played track in the world that's been on the charts for eight weeks
Expresso obviously is a most popular track that is the 17th most played track in the world 52 weeks and then you have
Tase which is the 27th most played track in the world that's been on the charts for 33 weeks so
opening up for a Sabrina carpenter type act will do wonders for your career especially when it's
more in the lane of what Sabrina does is not exactly pop because of course with raven lenaise she puts out r&B type music right so chicago born and raised and her influences as far as the comparisons that people are making when it comes to her sonically it's more of a stalange uh calelele i don't know i don't know if i'm mispronouncing that and then her musical
comparisons, people compare her to also Anderson Pack.
So those are the three artists that people are comparing her music to,
and they're saying that she makes that type of music,
and she sounds like that sonically when it comes to Solange and Kella,
I'm definitely butchering that name.
But anyways, back to the track, Love Me Not.
So you would come to find out if you go to her artist profile,
that she does not have any musical offerings in the year of 2025,
which is probably,
it's probably co-aligning with her.
promoting the track Love Me Not as her latest release technically came from another artist
Smino who featured Raven Lanay on a track titled Glow 5 and that came out December 5th
24th so as far as musical offering lanet was on Smino's track glow5 back in December so when it comes
to her rollout it seems it seems as if she's trying to build up anticipation and hype until her
single because when she puts out her next single that is probably going to be the one that
Atlantic recording corporations definitely or immediately pushes the button on to get it to the masses
as far as increasing engagement so another thing I was wanting to get into was the overall success
of that particular track as when it came out and it went crazy as far as TikTok because if you
don't know the sound of that particular track
is more drums as far as also soul rock and retro pop influences but also the main ingredient as far as the
blending of genres is rm b so she's mainly an rnb genre when it comes to themes she's mainly getting
to the romantic theme a lot of a lot of people can gravitate and relate to romantic type of sentiments
and that's basically what she's having and her music more more so talking about self-discovery
and independence. So when it comes to the TikTok surge, already got into that. A lot of other
artists supported Raven Lanay as Siza came out and tweeted support for her Bird's Eye album,
which if you don't know, her Burrs Eye album is out now, has 11 tracks, 35 minutes in length,
and came out August 9th, 2024. So with her not putting out music in 2025, it seems like she's
solely focusing on her 2024 album, Birds Eye, but more specifically, she's focusing on her track,
Love Me Not as that track is also doing phenomenal on the charts.
So with that being said, click my link to my bio.

What do you think about Raven Lanay's track, Love Me Not?
And also, are you more willing to check out her music now that you know the mass appeal
that she has as far as having the 79th most played track in the world?
