Starting point is 00:00:00 So worth it by Ray is off of her album, My 21st Century Blues, which has been produced by Mike Sabbath and John Hill. And here's the kicker. The major label she's on, Human Resources, guess who it was launched by? If you can't guess, let me just say that he may or may not have the name or the same name as a guy who used to play. play basketball for Philadelphia 76ers. Julius Irving launched this major label, which already screams industry play, but you know, that's okay.
Starting point is 00:00:45 And born in 1975, of course, he is the media executive and manager of this label, and is also the son of former basketball legend, Julius Dr. J. Irvin. Mm-mm-mm. don't you love what you can do when you just do a little research? So at this point, I didn't finish my whole soliloquy on how Ray is an industry plant. And I'm going to put these all back to back to back on my podcast.
Starting point is 00:01:15 So after the fact, y'all watch these. You watch these in sequence. And hopefully you hear me, and maybe for my YouTube and Twitch listeners, you see me come to the absolute conclusion that Ray is an industry plan. Now, I know what you can say. anybody can start a major label, and that's of course true. But for the most part, to be the son of a legendary basketball player, to have an artist where her first track, no, her first project on DSPs ever,
Starting point is 00:01:48 is getting playlisted on the highest playlist of Spotify, that screams in the street plant. And now, as the prosecutor would say, my case, Or, no, that's not how they said. See, that's how you know I'm a law about the citizen. I don't even know what the prosecutor be saying. Basically, I'm turning over my argument to the defendant because my case is done. I officially think that Ray is an industry plant.
Starting point is 00:02:16 She's under a major label founded by the son of a professional basketball player. And you're telling me the first time your artist puts out a project on a major platform like Spotify, Apple Music, all the DSPs. it gets playlisted? Okay, yeah, all right. No, that's not how it works. So anyways, yeah, that's what I want to get to. I finally figured out that Ray is an industry plan. For the die hard Ray fans out there,
Starting point is 00:02:41 hopefully y'all let me know if she's an industry plan or not. Maybe I'm tripping. Maybe I'm not. But for the most part, I think I'm on to something. So anyways, click my link to your bio. Let me know in one of my social medias. What do you think about the artist Ray? And do you think I'm totally misinformed on Ray?
Starting point is 00:02:56 Or do you think I'm on to something with her being an industry plan? Thank you.
