Starting point is 00:00:03 With this being our first time talking about the artist Rails B on the podcast, I want to put on Front Street that his first album ever was all the way back in 2015 and it was titled Player Hater. And then, you know what I'm saying? I was like, 10, look at the state of hip hop like, what's going on? And then of course, when you look at an album titled Player Hater and then fast forward as far as a decade and now in 2025, he has the most popular track in his career. with the specific track to Vassin, which is currently right now the 30th, most played track in Mexico. So of course, when it comes to player Hayton, he already knows how the game is, and he stuck it out.
Starting point is 00:00:47 He put out music consistently. And of course, time and time again, he felt like he should have had a breakout hit, which he technically did as far as his 2014 EP change or die. That was definitely one of his breakouts in the music industry. but as far as on a global aspect, well more specifically Mexico, this is one of his first ever tracks really impacting the charts like it is currently. As when you look at Tuvasin, when you look at the music video attached to it, you come to realize that not only is the evolution of technology allowing a lot of artists to blend their sounds as Rails B is from Spain. And of course, he has done and executed a lot of
Starting point is 00:01:33 roles, whether it's a rapper, a singer, songwriter, producer, etc. But of course, as of right now, stylistically, it sounds more of a hip-hop Latin type of blend, which is definitely one of the more notable sales currently, as you have Nathan Vega, Paiso Pluma. A lot of these Latin musicians are starting to cross genres. And I think that's helping out with a global appeal. And of course, like I just said, technology and advancement of technology is helping out a lot of these musicians with a cross-genre application. So with that being said, some of his notable collaborations have been Como Dormiste, I think that's how you said, and then me, Amor with A-A-Mor with A-I-Tanya. So with that being said, the main thing I want to let you know is that, of course, this is his most successful track in his career. getting more into the background like i said his first album ever was in 2015 but his first
Starting point is 00:02:34 ep was in 2014 and with that long consistency it's nice to see it pay off and it should be inspiring for any artists out there that's out here putting in hours and hours of work now you can look at somebody who put in a decade worth of work and now you can see him having his most successful track in his career. Now, of course, you can look at his entire discography to listen to his music to realize that the way that I go over sales does not correlate with quality. RELS B could have been putting out fire, but of course now the masses are starting to get more acclimated with it, but it does not mean that he hasn't been putting out fire since 2015, right? Now, of course, when it comes to the rest of the marketing rollout now, it would be time to roll out a
Starting point is 00:03:27 new album as you can see with his latest offering of afro lover which is uh 2025 is literally afro and then lover yeah i think he likes afro beats or what or my fault but then you know what that being said it came out the beginning uh well not the beginning but it came out june 20th of this year and of course there is nine tracks on this project 23 minutes in length and of course his most successful track as of right now to vassin is on it. So some would say that if it's under 35 to 30 minutes, you know, it's technically an EP. So would an album as far as either a deluxe edition to complete an actual project or do you think that the Afro lover type of EP will be enough to support this type of hit that he has currently?
Starting point is 00:04:18 Because you always have to keep the momentum going, especially in the music industry where everybody is here today, gone tomorrow. I mean, fans are beyond. So when it comes to the music industry, you really have to keep their attention and have them continuously gravitate towards your content creation. So when it comes to that, I do believe the EP was a great step, but at some point, I will like a full length project from RailsB because he's been so consistent over the years putting out an album in the past three years that I believe that he should ultimately lead up and continue from this EP to a full length project. especially with his 2 Vassin track being the 33 most played track in Mexico. So with that being said, click my link to your in my bio. Let me know on one of my social media is. What do you think about Rails B in his latest track to Vassin? And if you've never heard of Rails B, will you be willing to give this track a listen?
