Starting point is 00:00:03 Now, getting into the artist, Rima, and his second track that he's put out for the year of 2024, uh, 2025, because of course, the first one was Baby in parentheses, is it a crime? That came out February 7th, 2025. And of course, the track Boutchew came out April 10th, 2025. Now, when it comes to Rima, this is his second offer in 2025, but his last project didn't come out, well, came out last year. As far as his project, he is. I'm pretty sure that's how you pronounce it. It says H-E-I-S. I'm pretty sure you separate those, but I don't know. Maybe it's his, like, has, or I'm pretty sure it's he is. Anyways, it's 27 minutes in length as far as
Starting point is 00:00:52 his latest project in July 10, 2024. So if you just want to check that out to get more to Rima, but essentially, he has a single out. His latest single is titled. about you. Now of course, where Rima is a lot of Afrocentric influences in his music and with him having a lot of inspired electric guitar and harmonized ad libs on this particular track. One of the main things is showcasing his range as far as an artist as when baby is it a crime came out in February. It was the biggest debut streaming day of Rima's career. So it's almost as it. if this man is peeking at the right moment as far as this particular track about you. And it could end up on the charts, but not to sound pessimistic, pessimistic, but basically him being under Mavvin Global Holdings is very interesting because
Starting point is 00:01:50 now you're looking at it from a standpoint of he's not under a major label, right? If this man's not under a major label, the main thing that you have to look at is him being able to stand on his own. Baby is it a crime coming out of February 2025 being the biggest debut streaming of his career with him also doing numbers in US Afrobeat songs as far as it peaking at number three him doing numbers on the world digital song sales with it peaking at number four just showcases that he's trying to accumulate more of the masses as he goes about his career and he doesn't want to go to major label route because I haven't heard of maven
Starting point is 00:02:30 global and if I was to tell you about let me see global holdings anyways as I pull that up getting into his tour Rima is going on tour April 11th that is in Edmonton I think this I say say Edmonton Expo Center Alberta Canada so those are his stop well that's when his tour is kicking off and some of his major stops on April 13th and 20 of course chella um so that's coming up soon do you have may 3rd he's going to be a madison square garden so obviously he's touching these certain regions these locations that should gain more of the masses as far as him showcasing his artistry but when it comes back to so yeah there's not too much about this label i don't know if it's his own label i don't know if he's uh specifics to him or specific to him
Starting point is 00:03:32 but this is definitely not a major label that I'm used to recognizing as far as in the music industry so I'm not saying it's going to be a hard time for him to rise with this label or with his uh I don't know if this is his own LLC or whatever but the main thing to showcase is that he's on these grand stages as far as his tour is being considered and one of the main ways to encapsivate the masses is to showcase your talent on multiple stages that fans otherwise wouldn't have been able to see you in person, right? Because sometimes you have to come to them or go to them because guess what? If they're not coming to you, then that means it's time to branch out and start to do more venues that's outside of your norm so you get more of a different fan base. So anyways, with that being said, he also
Starting point is 00:04:18 headline Rolling Stones' Future of Music showcased at Moody Theater. And that was in South by Southwest in 2025, well, this year, right? And now Coachella 2020. which his festival debut, going back to El Sane as far as, and captivating the masses by going to different fan bases. Also, when it comes to Rima and the 2025 Heddy's Award nominations, April 27th Landmarked Center in Lagos, he has artists of the year, song of the year, well, as far as nominations, he's nominated for artists at a year, song of the year, album of the year, music video of the year, producer of the year, goodness, viewers choice of the year, Afrobe's album of the year, best performer, live. of the year and digital artists of the year i mean good that music award that award show must love him so anyways hopefully he does well at that war show i was just doing the segment to let you
Starting point is 00:05:10 know that rima has put out a single titled about you and it's out now on all dsps and with that being said click my like to your my bio let me know one of my social media is what do you think about rima in his latest track about you and do you think at the end of the day that rima is is one of the better Afrobeer artists that we have in today's generation.
