So going from mistaken this man for being an NBA young boy to him releasing his own album,
because when I first heard Topia Twins, our futopia, I thought that was NBA Young Boy,
because, I mean, he literally said he's from New Orleans projects.
And last time I checked, Young Boy was from Louisiana.
So I don't know how I made that correlation that that was Young Boy rapping,
but ended up being Rob 49, which I guess isn't the worst, isn't even a slight as,
I enjoyed his rapping over Topia twins.
Definitely would have preferred if it was just Travis and 21.
But listen to the first track of this album, For God, the deluxe.
And let me tell you, this man was saying some stuff on this track.
Like, I was kind of interested because there's a specific point I wanted to get into.
I don't know if it's too morbid or not, but I still want to get into it because I think this is very applicable in this certain situation.
because this man literally says in this track
if you love me still I'll fix it
oh no you my dog
hold let me highlight it so y'all can see it
analytic dreams video on my
Spotify channel if you want to see the video version
but basically you my dog and I still love you
if you still love me I'll fix it
it was lit when I was living fast
but I know what come with it
it'd be killing me because they've been trying to tell me
I ain't listened.
I was living day to day so I couldn't see the bigger picture.
I ain't going to lie.
This is going to be the Federal Bureau Investigations anthem at this point
because this man was telling it all in this track.
This man literally said in the start of his verse,
I'm going to get these demons off.
From the jump, he letting you know that I'm going to let you know I am not a law-abiding citizen.
So I don't even know how long this man is going to be.
around which is why i pulled up this list you know there's a lot of artists who have passed away
been uh incarcerated for the actions in the in the the the rat field i mean you have
who shysi uh 42 doug uh what else you have a lot of other i mean of course young thug
wy and w melly then you have people who have unfortunately passed away through some of the ties with
whether it's like pop smoke, young nudie,
which we don't know like the actual cause of young nudie, I believe.
But I think in general, there's a lot of rappers who are taken away from trying to merge the gangster life along with the musician life.
Because I think when you get into a certain field where you're making money legally, you should probably stop the illegal activity.
so with a lot of
a lot of rappers
who have this certain subject matter
and this certain aura about them
getting all these A-list features
reminds me of the King Vaughn type of path
and the type of route that this man is going on
which I'm not trying to judge him
I'm just judging off
I'm just
judging off of past
events
and past
yeah
I'll probably say
past events
because King Vaughn
no matter
what you want to say
about him
his raps
hit harder
because it was
actually true
Tay K
his raps hit harder
because it was
actually true
I fear
I can keep going
Poo Shisty
42 Doug
all the
G Herbo
all these rappers
lyrics
hit harder
because he actually do it.
And of course I got to say allegedly,
but y'all know.
I mean, they're in jail for a reason.
So anyways,
um,
Rob 49,
I mean,
this is the only track I listen.
This is definitely not no album review,
but I listen to his first track just to,
you know,
get a kind of a taste of pause,
but kind of hear what he,
you know,
is about.
And I enjoyed the track.
And I kind of understood
what he was coming from,
talking about the fast life,
getting into this life,
not being able to see the bigger picture.
I kind of put two and two together
and realized,
that it seems like they're still after him.
I mean, it seems like he literally said,
let me see if I can find it.
He said, please let me fix this for the last time.
I realized they don't want to see us win.
I realized they don't want to see a star shine,
which that could be applicable to anything.
And then he said,
this ain't how stuff supposed to be with us.
I regret it.
I let weapons form against repross.
He was really talking on this album.
I don't know if I don't.
did so much wrong that God would have seen me perish.
I don't know if these pills or not, but I'm still in my feelings.
Now, he was really flowing.
And he was also touching on, like, the whole thing about the, I'm doing wrong
and the literal chorus being, let's see, with the chorus being,
it was lit when I was living fast, but I know it would come with it.
It'd be killing me because they've been trying to tell me.
I ain't listening.
I was living day to day, so I couldn't see the bigger picture.
I think that's a very interesting bar.
It's very interesting bars that he's given off.
And I'm not going to say I don't believe him in the slightest.
I believe him 100%, which makes me fear about that whole either you pass away, get killed,
or you get incarcerated, which is like go to jail.
Like it's like that either or when you go on a certain type of pathway, not saying that Rob 49 is on it.
But I do feel like it's applicable in this situation when he's rapping about this type of subject matter.
I mean, he's even saying, please, I think I already said,
yeah, I already said the time where he's like,
please just let me fix this for the last time.
I realized they don't want to see me win.
What else he said?
The only thing going to make this better is talking to my daddy.
He's the only one that knew, but I can't tell nobody.
I mean, like, the Federal Bureau investigation,
they bumping this nonstop.
They might well put this on repeat.
The repeat once, the one where only repeats the same track over and over.
So, hey man, I wish the best for Rob 49.
Hopefully he could change his image in a way that makes the feds not come after him.
Because at this point, I mean, I'm just bound to believe these artists.
Like, it's too many getting locked up, getting killed in these past two to three years.
To make me just not, like, to make me not believe what he's saying is difficult
because of all the instances that have happened in the past three years.
And I think with Rob 49, the way that he's just,
rapping we're gonna see but man it's just been too many instances with the same type of
aura around him where he's like a real street dude and everybody believes what he's talking about
and you know something unfortunate happened so i'm not wishing that on him i'm just bringing
up the history hopefully he changes his path in a way that leads him a longer career
than most artists who try to live both lives if that makes sense
So anyways, click my link to your in my bio, let me know one of my social medias.
