Bruno Mars is back again with Rose, the artist from Black Pink, with the new track that you would think is apartment.
But the actual letters for the single is APT.
Now, of course, the way that is pronounced is said throughout the track.
But as far as me personally, I know I would definitely butcher the name.
So with that being said, the track is not apartment.
You know, it's just APT.
and the announcement was made because of Rosie being under exclusive license to Atlanta Records, of course.
But the thing that I noticed was that it excluded Korea.
Now, why would Rosie be a part of excluding her music from Korea?
Well, that's because that's not the case.
She is basically still under her original label, YG Entertainment,
which is why the exclusion is there in the first place,
because under Atlantic Recording Corporation,
it's more for the states as far as getting her established.
But of course, Korea exposure is handled by YG Entertainment.
So with that being said, I think the biggest thing to get into is definitely Bruno Mars.
I don't know what it is,
but the actual final Billboard global predictions as far as,
October 19th is considered.
It has died with a smile, which Bruno Mars is a Bruno Mars track with Lady Gaga, which basically
reached number three on the Billboard Hot 100 and topped the global 200 for seven weeks.
Now, I think when it tops the global charts, that's the main thing I'm looking at because
when I actually look at the overall charts, it still has a bar song with Shibuzi being
the number one song in the world but with uh die with a smile at number five so of course when it
peaks at number three but it tops the global charts you come to realize that the state's charts
in the global charts is a little different i mean who would have thought right so this is ultimately
a no-brainer decision by bruno mars to put out another track with rosy from black pink because
Because overall, Bruno Mars has put out two tracks in 2024.
And with the first track being died with a smile that peaked at number three, been on the charts for about eight weeks,
and is the fifth most place song in the world.
One could assume that this track with a global icon, especially one from overseas as far as Rosie being considered,
is also going to have some chart-topping possibilities.
So with the actual track, I mean, it's more inspired by the Korean drinking game called apartment.
So technically, when you come to APT and the way that they're pronouncing in the track,
you would have had no idea that they was actually referring to an apartment.
But actually, they are as it was introduced to Rosie by her studio team during a recording session.
And basically, she liked the catchy nature of the track, of course.
and the nature of the game sparked inspiration for the entire track.
So when Bruno Mars hopped on the track, it was just a match made in heaven.
Because at this point, I mean, with Die with a Smile being your only song in 24,
and it having this amount of success on the charts, I mean, one could only assume that this track with Rosie will also top the charts.
I mean, let alone is going to top the global charts simply off of the Rosie effect.
But as far as the Bruno Mars effect, it's going to top everywhere as far as the charts being considered.
But some of the other things to be considered is that the music video for the track APT is basically co-directed by Bruno Mars and Daniel Ramos.
And as far as it featuring both artists rocking out in a garage band setup, Bruno Mars team is responsible for most of it because, of course,
said directed, well, co-directed by Bruno Mars.
Definitely don't want to discredit Daniel Ramos.
But when I look at Bruno Mars and his overall trajectory,
as far as the music consumption of 2024,
being that he only has two tracks out,
it's absolutely tremendous.
I mean, of course, Silk Sonic with Anderson Pack
was one of the most award-winning projects that I've seen in the past,
like, three to four years.
So with that being considered,
his follow-up from that is going to be heavily compared to Silk Sonic because people base you off of
your highest accomplishments because you now set a new bar for yourself.
Now, of course, that's not Bruno Mars's most successful project or anything like that,
but it is apparent to point out that that specific project came out in 2021 and now it's 24
and he's still topping the charts time and time again.
So this is more of a great crossover for the simple fact that Rosie's album that includes 12 tracks is coming out soon.
I don't think the album is actually all right now.
That'll be crazy if it's actually out right now.
I know this is the actual track they're promoting for the most part.
But I didn't even find Rosie on DSPs.
I mean, you type in her name and nothing pops up.
Oh, okay, here it goes.
So, oh, okay.
Her album is set to be released December 6th, 2024.
That is a very interesting date to drop.
And the reason why I say that is because major labels basically take a break throughout
that time.
The holidays should be celebrated with you and your family, right?
So the music industry, they take a break and then they come back February, I believe.
I mean, they start to ramp up in January, but it's like the preseason for the music
industry.
Like, they're just getting back into the mix of things.
and then they start to really hit the ground running in February.
So it's interesting to drop your album in December as far as what the upcoming release says on Spotify.
But as far as the date December 6th, 2024, it seems like that's going to be Rosie's next album, which is, it says it's, well, on the release, it says it's self-titled.
I don't know if she actually released the actual name for the album yet.
But apparently this is the first studio album.
That's what her and her team is saying.
Overall, I can't wait for it.
I think as far as K-pop and the influence over the masses, especially in the States, is growing with the likes of a BTS, new jeans.
Jenny is also doing her thing.
I think it's apparent that people are going to be waiting and definitely anticipating this project when it eventually comes.
So with that being considered, click my link to my bio and let me know one of my social medias.
what do you think about Bruno Morris and Rosie's track APT, which is technically for apartment,
but the way they pronounce it in the song is why I'm not even trying to pronounce it the way
they said it in the song. So with that being said, listen to the track and let me know,
do you think it's fire or trash?
