Join Here: https://ow.ly/msoH50WCu0KIn this segment of Notorious Ma...ss Effect, Analytic Dreamz explores Royal Match, the dominant free-to-play match-3 puzzle game from Dream Games, the Istanbul-based powerhouse founded in 2019 by ex-Peak Games executives including CEO Soner Aydemir. Launched globally in early 2021 after a 2020 soft launch, it features King Robert as protagonist in polished, ad-free gameplay where players match 3+ tiles like crowns, coins, and shields to complete objectives—collecting items, breaking obstacles like vases and chains, or clearing paths—across move- or time-limited levels. The core loop includes regenerating lives (5 total), earning stars to decorate and progress the castle meta-layer, and deploying boosters like rockets, TNT, light balls, and hammers earned through combos or purchased. Events such as Sky Race (PvP-style), tournaments, quests, team alliances, streak rewards, card collections, and minigames drive engagement. With over 12,400 levels by late 2025 (expanding biweekly with 100+ new ones every two weeks), progression is endless—no true endgame—demanding thousands of hours, especially for F2P players facing aggressive difficulty scaling and near-miss designs that push impulse buys for extra moves or boosters.Analytic Dreamz breaks down its extraordinary success: 300M–370M+ downloads, lifetime revenue surpassing $5–7B (with $1.3–1.4B in 2024–2025 alone, topping casual/puzzle charts), and ~55M MAU. Dream Games, now valued at ~$5B following a major 2025 CVC Capital Partners investment (providing liquidity to early VCs while founders retain majority control), dominates match-3 IAP revenue share through masterful user acquisition (heavy Apple Search Ads, creative pin-pull campaigns) and retention via live ops—no ads interrupting play.Praised for smooth UX, polish, and uninterrupted experience (4.7/5 store ratings), it faces criticism for paywalls, "rigged" difficulty spikes, Super Hard levels, and misleading ads. A 2024 gambling lawsuit in Washington alleged coin purchases resemble gambling, though no major resolutions noted. Sequel Royal Kingdom (2024) adds PvP and ranked play, already generating hundreds of millions.Join Analytic Dreamz to unpack how Royal Match redefined mobile puzzle dominance through relentless monetization, UA strategy, and live service mastery, turning Dream Games into a top global publisher. Privacy & Opt-Out: https://redcircle.com/privacy

Starting point is 00:00:03 You know, I just want to start off putting respect on the mobile gaming community. Shepard. Nah, because, you know, if nobody ever told you, I just won't let you know that I appreciate you. You guys. So that out the way, it's safe to say, we're about to dive into the mobile game, Royale match, more commonly pronounced as Royal Match. As, if you don't know, over here in a notorious mass effect, we dive into the games and music IPs that notoriously affect the masses it's safe to say with this
Starting point is 00:00:36 particular game it is not only one of the most profitable games of all time objectively speaking but it's one of the more is definitely one of the most profitable games in a mobile space of all time as it usually fluctuates between 10 and 20 as far as all time revenue with estimate of three to six billion lifetime because of it consistently being in the in the top five yearly as far as the past two to three years because in 2025 it was number to five because there's a bunch of different rankings out there for mobile game because it's not just one actual chart you can look at anyways um with 1.9 billion right that was in 2025 landed it in the four to five spot number three in 2024 with 1.4 billion and of course
Starting point is 00:01:24 it's behind games that we've covered like honor of kings pub g mobile candy crusts etc and you can't forget Monopoly Go. So when you dive into Monopoly Go, the main thing you need to know is that Dream Games is behind Royale match and of course is the sequel to Royal Kingdom, which globally launched November 24. Remember, this game came out 2021. Royal Kingdom came out in 2024. Technically, it's soft launched in 2023. But Dream Games has a very dreamlike analytical approach to success because guess what it works every time as even though royal kingdom is a phenomenal success one of the most profitable mobile games in the game and community it hasn't made um it is a predecessor royal kingdom did not make as much but it still made a lot as far as making 300 million
Starting point is 00:02:23 in his first year compared to royal match as 300 million as first year for royal kingdom but then there's the sequel, the successes of the Royal Kingdom, Royal Match, ended up having $3 billion plus lifetime up to six as far as estimates in mid-2020. And of course, as of right now, Royal Match is driving 95% of Dream Games revenue. So when you look at the launch for Royal Match, safe to say it had 10 million installs within six months. And then of course, as far as early revenue, it had 102, million within the first six months it had one hundred two million dollars within the first six months then once you think it was downloads and then six six sixty seven million from the US so very phenomenal release out the gate
Starting point is 00:03:19 and of course when you look at it not having any ads technically usually you know games like this is dominant with ads and things that in nature as far as throughout the gameplay loop but the one of the more unique things about royal match is that there's no as in the core gameplay meaning it's uninterrupted so you're probably wondering to yourself well how does royal match make money then and you guys you guys i have the answer as when you look at the actual revenue and how it comes in is based off of monetization you know monetization is in every mobile game but at least just at least they don't have ads for the free users out there because it's
Starting point is 00:04:06 probably a lot i mean your grandma your grandpa after they get done with the shuffle boy after they get done claiming bingo you know what i'm saying shepherd all right my fault basically your grandparents probably have played this game and who will want ads while they're trying to enjoy while grandma and grandpa out here trying to enjoy their core gameplay loop right so anyways um when you look at the live uh events for this game because of course dream games definitely has given a mammoth of support because of their supporters basically
Starting point is 00:04:37 continuing to engage with their game basically there has been the things that have been implemented is Discovery which is a PVP style racing versus players slash bots and then they've had tournaments they've had quests they've had
Starting point is 00:04:53 team alliances which also included shared rewards and leaderboards and other features such as streak rewards card collections and many games as far as magic cauldron hopefully i said that right so when you look at the support that's basically what you can uh assume from dream games that they're going to continuously give updates for this particular game because when you look at when you look at um royal games safe to say not me my fault when you look at a royal match safe to say that if a publisher that put
Starting point is 00:05:27 out a game of 2021 didn't continuously update with exciting new features and tournaments, safe to say the player base would feel a little for guiding and excluded, right? So the reason why, you know, at the beginning, I was looking at Royal Kingdom as the first game. It's the sequel. So I want to correct myself on that. So if you, hey, if you listen up to this point, safe to say,
Starting point is 00:05:54 no need to correct because the Royal Kingdom is the sequel. I noticed somebody going to be out there. They'll be like, well, actually, you could tell them. You didn't watch the whole, you ain't watched the whole segment. You guys. See, that's the problem. Anyway, so technically Royal Kingdom is the sequel, so that's my bad. Royal Kingdom did come out after Royal Match.
Starting point is 00:06:13 And even though it had $300 million in his first year, Royal Match is still the Magnum Opus for Dream Games. So getting into other things as far as the actual gameplay loop, is pretty simple as you're looking at a free-to-play match three puzzle games. So he matched three and guess what? Guess what that's it? And of course, it sounds pretty simple until you get into it and realize there's a reason why everybody and your grandma can't even say everybody and your mama
Starting point is 00:06:44 because these games have been around for centuries. I mean, of course, Tetris is one of the first games that really had this type of gameplay loop. But in general, Royal Match does a phenomenal job on keeping the same Tetris type of gameplay but making it very unique as far as matching three in a different variety of puzzles not just one type of format so of course when you look at the hq is actually out in a turkey so you know hey do that what you will but as far as uh the launch already got to the launch as far as the details i was getting to the core mechanics so as far as the core mechanics the match three puzzles the main objective is collect specific items break obstacles you know simple Tetris type of format you try to match the different
Starting point is 00:07:31 shapes and colors and guess what you're going to get to a higher score than you did before if you do it correctly because you have five regenerating lives and failure consumes one life so there's also star so there's one star per completed level and you can use it to decorate king robber's castle yes the king robber that you see on every single ad and you realize there's no game behind no specific ads because guess what? They are here being fraudulent. Shepard.
Starting point is 00:08:02 Just look at the state of gaming. Like, what is going on? Can't believe these other guys are out here actually putting our ass for a game that they don't even own. It reminds me of the whiteout survival situation. As was a whiteout survival, I think it was. I don't know if it was white out.
Starting point is 00:08:18 I think it was another mobile game. But I totally, let's see. Was it last? No, no, yeah. It was last war. not white out it was last war survival um it reminds me of that type of scandal because of course last war survival is a real mobile game there was a lot of ads that came out surrounding the gameplay loop that last war had but guess what guess what the ads they put out they didn't have a game to back
Starting point is 00:08:41 that ad so i was like why you even put it out i guess they just wanted to go viral on social media which and you know they they indeed did so anyways um when you look at other things such as bonus levels the end of era coin farming, which is like an infinite collection. I don't even know that's like nerd talk. I mean, obviously I'm a nerd, but I don't know what that means at all. So as far as a progression,
Starting point is 00:09:04 you're probably wondering, well, how long does it take me to beat this game? And guess what? It's effectively impossible to beat this game. I guess you're not. Because when you look at free-to-play players, they have to progress in a certain type of way that, of course, if you buy certain coins
Starting point is 00:09:22 via the micro-transaction, You don't have to take that level of monotony to level up. But I assume everybody's playing this for free. As when you look at a dedicated player playing for free, 9,000 levels would probably take you at least two years. And those are estimated reports that I looked up. So it's safe to say somebody was out there playing royal match for two straight years just to give you that metric.
Starting point is 00:09:48 Man, shout out to him. Out here doing the Lord's work, I tell you. Give them some praise. I hear doing the Lord's word. Mm-hmm. Give them some praise. The shout to that dedicated Royal Match Player for taking two years to let us know that you can only reach 9,000 levels.
Starting point is 00:10:04 You guys. See, that's the problem. So, you know, if you couldn't tell by now, if you play this game for free, it's going to take you a while to level up. The main thing is just enjoying the core gameplay loop. I wouldn't try to beat this game in the slightest, right? You just play this for fun. If you're not trying to play it for fun, and guess what?
Starting point is 00:10:20 What do they do? If you're not trying to play for fun, then guess what? what? Who do dee do? And we beat these folk? What do they do? We beat them. We go forward. So anyways, as far as getting into the review roundup, safe to say, I cannot find any credible, or I'm not going to say credible. I couldn't find the main sources I usually go to for review roundups, but of course I do have some reviews from other game and
Starting point is 00:10:39 conglomerates. So, um, safe to say, when it comes to these names, I'm usually not familiar. I'm not familiar with these names at all, but hey, guess what? We're going to go with it so uh fungies dot i know i told y i told y i gave it a six at ten hold up now they said royal match is fun addicting time waster goodness gracious most people wouldn't ask for much more than that out of a mobile game and that's totally fine however if you're susceptible to spending large amounts of money on a whim this might be one to avoid you guys goodness gracious anyhow see that's the I ain't how this review's been going. We've been trying to praise this game.
Starting point is 00:11:20 Anyways, it tilts towards scammie without much warning. Dot, dot, dot, dot. The combination of gameplay power-ups effects and sounds make Royal Match easy to pick up, but difficult to put down. That man's spitting. I know that ain't who I think it is. That is until the game's dreaded implementation
Starting point is 00:11:39 of micro-transactions rears its ugly head. Hey, man, I'm not going to lie. Hey man, I'm not going to lie. I told y'all I'm not familiar with these publications. Fungies.I.O. has indefinite beef with dream games. I'm not going to lie to you. So that was kind of crazy. Let's go into a good review because, you know, most people enjoy this game.
Starting point is 00:12:02 I mean, Metacredit has it as a, not as a user. Yeah, we can't do that one because all of them are different. Okay, let's go to Game Facts. Okay, game facts. Gave it a 10 out of 10, ladies and gentlemen. So we're going to have a little, you know, yin-yang as far as the review round up. Game Facts said, quote, after downloading this game, dot, dot, dot, I can say that this is definitely a game that lives up to the hype. Royal matches as fun as it is addictive and is definitely by far the best game I have come across that fits the convenience of play, time, and fun all into one scope.
Starting point is 00:12:43 Shepard Just look at the state of gaming Like what is going on Talk about a hot and cold review right So hey whichever one you want to believe Hey you know I just gave you the information You do of that what you will But the main thing you need to know
Starting point is 00:12:55 Is that if a game came out in 2021 As a mobile You know match three type of game And the valuation is at $3 to $6 billion Somebody isn't enjoying it out there And I think Me going out on the limb
Starting point is 00:13:10 To say the consensus would be positive is not too far-fetched as once again this game is one of the most profitable games mobile games of all time top 10 to 20 all time like all mobile games considered so not to say just because you sell well you make the best product because you know I've already gave that whole discussion but when it comes to royal match I've seen the gameplay loop I've actually played royal match I think a good amount of times as far as you know games like that but specifically I remember playing royal match And, you know, the micro transactions can throw you off, but in my personal opinion, if you're just playing it for just a fun, oh, let's waste some time and match some blocks, it's really not the great. I mean, it's not the most grandiose game.
Starting point is 00:13:55 I mean, it's basically just you go to it for a specific reason and then you move on. So, anyways, that's why I think, you know, if anybody's being too harsh on it, you know, that's their opinion. But for the most part, as far as the general consensus, I will say that this is probably one of the more. entertaining games, especially if you're looking for a Tetris substitute. I think that's a pretty high praise. I think that's pretty high praise as far as it being a Tetris substitute. So anyways, click my link to my bio. Let me know on one of my social medias.
Starting point is 00:14:27 What do you think about Royal Match the Mobile Game? And, of course, we're going to continue to put respect on the mobile gaming community. So comment down below, what game would you want me to break down next as far as the sales and review roundup over here in notorious mass effect
