Getting into Roz and Y and G, I'm just going to say Lucas because it's spelled as LVCAS.
And I'm not going to lie to you.
I don't know if this makes me ignorant, but I have to pronounce it as Lucas because I just don't know any other option.
And as far as the previous part of his name, is he a YN?
Anyways, he is technically a rapper as with YNG Lucas.
He's a Mexican regga tone and trap artist from Guadalda.
La Jara,
hopefully I'm saying it right,
born in 1999 and of course with Roz,
his blend or his genre of music,
it is more of a blend between modern pop and dance
with a growing presence in the music industry,
especially on platforms like TikTok helping out his tracks.
And the latest track that it helped out was flashes.
Now, if you don't know,
Roz is under Queens Road Music slash Atlantic
recording corporation.
And the reason why that's a big deal is because now with this particular track coming out
all the way back in February 14th of 2025 via Warner Latina, you can really understand
how this particular track has not only marketing strategies put behind it by a major conglomerates
such as Atlantic Recording Corporation, but also when it comes to production,
is also credited as a co-producer laying the beat with electronic elements with Latin rhythms.
So overall, it's safe to say that these two artists are very talented.
And that came across in this track as when it was released back in February of this year,
it rose on the hot Latin charts, debuting at number 42 and rising to number 33 by March 25th of 20th.
2025. So here we are on current day and this track is still rising. Why is that the case?
Well, it's essentially because when you look at TikTok, as I keep saying time and time again,
TikTok is one of the most organic marketing strategies you can use as a musician. If you want to be
taken serious and you don't put any snippets or songs out on TikTok, then safe to say,
then safe to say you are not maximizing your performance.
potential as far as the exposure and the audience you could be garnering via one of the better marketing tools on the planet.
So TikTok has been a huge reason for why this track is successful.
And more specifically in Mexico, this track is in the top 50.
As more specifically, if I can type right, more specifically, this track is the 30 first most played track in Mexico.
and that is a huge accomplishment,
especially being under Atlantic Corporation,
because if you don't know,
when it comes to RIAA certification,
you need a certain amount of units in the U.S.
to even chart globally.
So having Atlantic under your belt
when you already are immensely popular
in your own region as far as Mexico
makes the job for them,
I'm not going to say easy,
but it makes it ten times easier
to get it charting on the global charts
because now you're already gaining
some type of traction
in your own region is being one of the more prominent musicians in the Mexico
community uh in the Mexico region so the main reason why I'm saying that is because these
artists who have immensely popular tracks all across the world have a UMG a Warner a Sony step
in and end up elevating the level of exposure because of their historic record of
of marketing strategies working to gain you a new audience that you otherwise wouldn't have had
if you didn't partner with these major labels.
Not saying that you need a major label.
I'm just saying that there's a invisible ceiling to your hit if you don't sign to a major label.
So that's why I say that because all of this success by Roz and Y&G Lucas is pretty much organic.
I mean, as far as getting actual placements, as far as me,
right as far as TV movies as etc it doesn't have any because it's so independently driven by
organic engagement by their uh supporters so i think when it comes to their tracks like la bebe and other
viral ticot trends i think that is why it ultimately comes back on their newest work in flashes
and it comes up in a way that makes it even more popular because if you really really really
look at in totality, reason why some of these older tracks start to blow up even months after,
like weeks, months, years after is because like I keep saying, TikTok and the organic nature
of how people can find your music even after you put it out, which is why it's so important
to use TikTok as a marketing strategy. Now, with that being said, as far as these particular
artists and this track flashes, it's definitely a promising reggae tone hit in Mexico.
hopefully at some point it'll be overall a hit on a billboard depending on how
Atlantic recording corporation ends up working this track and when it comes to their
status in the industry is still unfolding as these two artists are still trying to gain
a foothold in the culture because as I've this is my first time ever
reviewing them and just talking about their art as I usually cover the charts
and so now with them being on the charts I'm covering them as it's
you know, the notorious mass effects.
So if you're new to the platform,
I cover all genres and people who impact the masses notoriously, pun intended.
So with that being said,
I do believe this track is going to have a great chance
on making the overall global charts and only time with tell,
but it being the 31st most played track in Mexico currently
as a great starting point for Roz and Y&G Lucas.
So with that being said, click my link, sure, in my bio.
Let me know on one of my social medias.
What do you think about the track, Flashes by Roz and YNG Lucas?
And at the end of the day, do you think this track is fire or trash?
