One of the biggest rookie of the year type performances we've seen in 2024 has came from none other than Sabrina Carpenter. Sabrina Carpenter is very interesting in this space because the amount of music that she's been putting out, I'm not going to say it's a long list, but she's definitely been putting out music for quite some time. and there's that whole recurrent recurrence and resurgence of a Disney star going on to make popular music I don't know what it is about Disney and then producing successful artists after the fact whether it's Molly Cyrus Demi Levato Ariana Grande I believe was on Nickelodeon but y'all get the point right Jonas brothers I'm I can go on and on there's something happening between Disney in the music industry. That's probably hand in hand in their contract. But that's conspiracy theory lane. So let's not get into that. Let's talk about what's actually reality. Sabrina Carpenter has

effectively captivated the masses as three of the top 100 tracks in the world was executed or performed by her. It's very interesting. You have to say it very specific nowadays. because you can't say right, you know, we don't know if they wrote it. We don't even know if they actually performed it. I mean, it could be AI. But anyways, let me chill. So, Expresso, been under charts for about 18 weeks,

and it's still of the fourth most played track in the world. Now, please, please, please, which is a newer track, but still has been under charts for about 10 weeks, also peaked at number one, crazy, right? And it's the eighth most played track in the world. And then you have Feather that's been on a number. the charts for about 37 weeks and the 45th most played track in the world.

So, now that Sabrina Carpenter is coming back with the new track titled, no, that's not it. Now that Sabrina is coming out with, I believe it's a new album. I don't know if this is like, is this our account or not?

I hate when they pin stuff because it's so long ago. Like, why don't we get updated information? How about that? Okay. Yeah, so, um, her album. And then her album short and sweet. And then her, uh, what was her single? Taste.

That's what it is. Because this project is 36 minutes long. And it has all of the singles on there. So, um, let me see. Cause that is espresso. It's please, please. Was that another one? I think that was it.

Oh, the other one was feathered that she's charting with. But that's not on here. I do not think. Yeah, feathers not on here. That was released a while ago. Anyways, so yeah, I think those minutes like two, three minutes. So probably like six minutes taken off. So really, this is like a 30-minute project as far as new material.

I think that shows that they are expecting the first week sales to not look that great. With only 36 minutes of content, you have to either think, one, all those tracks are phenomenal. so they're going to keep replaying it or two you're getting ready to call it the EP for if it flops because technically if you don't consider the singles this is 29 to 30 minute project which technically is an EP even 36 minutes I believe is an EP I think anything over 45 I have to check that but I think this is technically a EP so I were her calling this an album talking about how this is her studio album it's officially yours extremely lucky uh short and sweet was one of the most special honest up and down stupid

and fun experiences of my life and she's saying all this stuff about short and sweet only for it to be 36 minutes in runtime i mean hey that's your artist right so anyways um as far as the tour announcement i know y'all want to hear about that so Sabrina carpenter is going on tour it's called the short and sweet headlining tour across north america starting september 23rd in columbus oh Ohio and something else I think that's basically it I don't really have too much to say about Sabrina

as you can tell when it comes to Sabrina I've listened to a music actually like one of the tracks I forget which one it is I'm not going to play it because you know I'm not trying to copyright it but I don't know if it's express I don't know I actually like that type of music from Ariana

so if a person can sing and is on that type of tempo like it's just a nice vibe when again to that mood of wanting to not hear murder, murder, kill, kill all the time. You know, it's a nice change of pace of just, you know, smooth vibes and peaceful vibes as far as listening to a Sabrina, Ariana,

who else, Taylor Swift. Like, I'm going to get you back. It's probably the most aggressive. I would probably say they get in this, as far as in their realm. But that's still one of my favorite tracks from a Taylor Swift album. the tortured Poets Department, which is still a fire album title.

So anyways, oh, and also they thought Sabrina and Taylor Swift was beefing, but actually Sabrina is a huge fan of Taylor Swift and Ariana. So, yeah, there you go with that. You know, they don't always have to pit women against each other, but I know the public was trying to start something because of her technically having better single chart numbers than Taylor Swift. But, of course, in totality, I mean, it's not even close. so um with you know taylor swift still having the most play album in the world for like i don't know
