Starting point is 00:00:03 Now as far as impacting the masses, you already know, when covering the music landscape, I love to dive into different genres and different cultures. Now, of course, this is my first time ever diving into the Indian culture as far as the music composer, Sanchen Jaguar. Hopefully I'm saying that right. Let's see if I'm actually saying that right. Give me a second. We can find this out in real time. There we go. See, I said it right.
Starting point is 00:00:31 Anyways, so Sa-Cin Jigar is an Indian music producer duo consisting of Sachin Sangh-Sengvi and Jagar Saraya. They are known for creating a lot of music, primarily in Hindi, Bollywood, of course, and a lot of Gujarrati films. Gujarati films. Like I said, I cover a lot of music in different industries. It's the first time dive into the Indian music culture. So, of course, you know, you got to bear with me as far as. me again the pronunciation is right but let the latin consumers uh tell it ain't a lot i'll be butchering for quite some time so anyways um this particular segment is about the um aj keirot street to uh
Starting point is 00:01:18 tamana battea i think that's how you say tamana batia there we go so with that being said This was released six months ago as far as this particular video, but it's the 15th most popular global music video. So when it comes to impacting the masses, obviously I pride myself on being able to decipher a lot of different cultures and talk about it in a way that's more of a concise fashion for the masses for them to understand where I'm coming from and why I'm covering it. So that's primarily why I'm covering it as is very impactful, especially in India. And then of course, when it comes to these type of musical composers, if you didn't know, Jagara Soraya is also a singer and lent his voice talents to tracks like Gulibai, Shadi Desi romance, while Sachin's daughter, Tanishka Sangvi, debuted as a singer with Latki on Coke Studio. So, of course, when it comes to that, being multi-facist in this music industry, it's nice to see you
Starting point is 00:02:26 get a hit overall especially when you look at DSPs and you realize that Sachin Jagar has 32.7 monthly listeners well 32.7 million and can't forget the million so anyways he has 32.7 million monthly listeners so with this particular YouTube video if you don't know it was released July 24th July 24 as the first single from Street 2 was released August 15 2024 and the main significance of this track is because of the actual movie that this is also promoting. If you don't know, this introduces Tamanah's character, Shema, setting up a crucial plot twists in the movie.
Starting point is 00:03:10 I don't want to spoil it, but of course, I want you to know that this track is connected with the film that adds to his overall popularity because, of course, you listen to a music, listen to a track, and now if that track is fire enough, which you've seen a plethora of times especially in American culture as the Black Panther came out and then the end credits rolled into all the stars by Kendrick Lamar and Siza we've seen where that track is today is very much a classic and it came from the Black Panther soundtrack so of course just because you make a track for a movie soundtrack does not mean it won't it won't have longevity for the masses on its own so anyways as far as the
Starting point is 00:03:50 overall statistics for this YouTube video. It had about 6.6 million YouTube views in just two weeks. And of course, the choreography was top-notch masterclass as far as choreography. And I do believe a lot of overseas musicians, I think they put more effort into choreography when it comes to putting on a show for the masses. Now, the reason I say that is because of the K-pop community
Starting point is 00:04:18 and the likes of Jenny. from Black Pink and the likes of BTS. I think it's a bunch of other ones like new jeans, things of that nature. There's a lot of overseas artists and groups who come together for music videos and just showcase a different
Starting point is 00:04:37 level of effort when it comes to choreography. I love when artists actually respect our dollar as far as whether they're performing live or for a music video by giving us choreography time and time again. Because some of the low effort music videos that, you know, maybe the genre I primarily review, the low effort music videos that comes with that, especially the copy, paste, show women, show bottles, and then that's the
Starting point is 00:05:02 music video. I think we should definitely ask for more, especially in today's age when the internet is accessible and we see other genres and their musicians taking it way more serious as far as putting together actual choreography to show you some type of performance during their music video. I think there's a very much, it's a very much needed conversation that needs to happen when it comes to the effort level from certain genres when it comes to putting together music videos. Now, that being said, of course, not only did this peak at number one as far as on the Billboard India songs. Now, if you don't know, the UK Asian charts, it also peaked at number two, and those
Starting point is 00:05:39 are the sections where it charted the top, well, top the charts the most. But all you need know as far as coming away from this review is that ahjki right is a modern bollywood success and as far as what is actually me give an actual definition because i don't want to just make this up right so as far as people wondering like what is a bollywood or what is that like what are you talking about are you speaking a different language so bollywood is obviously you know uh referring to hollywood right it's based it's heavily inspired from hollywood but the difference is that it's here Hindi language focus, right, based in Mumbai, India. And the term is a portmanteo, portmanteo. Hold on, let me figure out how to say this.
Starting point is 00:06:29 Portmanteau of bomb. A portmanteau, okay, I was totally off. The term is a portmanteau of Bombay and the former name of Mumbai. So, with that being said, it's a reflection of India's equivalent to American film industry Hollywood. That's why they call it Bollywood. So hopefully y'all learn something. You know what I mean? And no one is half the battle if you let G.I. Joe tell it. So Bollywood has produced over a thousand movies, right? Annually across various languages in Bollywood alone accounts for roughly 40 to 50 percent of India's total film production and box office revenue depending on the year. So pretty big deal if I do say so myself.
Starting point is 00:07:13 So when it comes to Bollywood, when it comes to one of the most popular tracks in the world, not just Bollywood, but one of the most popular tracks in the world, Aj Kyi Rott, is very impactful to the point where I wanted to cover it and basically dip my toes into the India culture and start to learn more about the musical culture
Starting point is 00:07:32 and also what makes them run as far as the different tools in the machine. So with that being said, click my link to my bio. let me know one of my social medias what do you think about asheki rot and also what do you think about the producers as far as that lose the producers what do you think about the producers as far as satch sa chin jagar as far as him being the music composer duo for this video
