Now why in the world this school boy Q put up this picture with Jay-Z,
which you can see on Analytic Dreams video on Spotify to see the video along with the audio?
Why did school boy Q put up this picture with Jay-Z knowing that this man wasn't going to be on the album?
This man posted this picture with Jay-Z and said,
well, captioned it,
Hove, quote, nah, bra, run that back.
And then school boy Q said, quote, okay, cool.
shout out to i am still punch this friday march first blue lips now if that's not the most
p r stunt type of image and message i've ever seen that i don't know what it is this is more of
like when a movie showcase something and it's not even in the movie like like at this point that's
false advertisement like should i sue schoolboy q aka t d well slash t die for the blue lips album
because I don't see Jay-Z nowhere on this album.
I mean, I don't know if he's like wanting them hidden features,
but I don't see it anywhere.
And he put up a whole picture making it seem like he had a Jay-Z feature.
Anyways, so School Boy Q has an album titled Blue Lips out now on all DSPs.
And basically, it's 56 minutes long, 18 songs,
and features, uh,
Rico nasty. I think that's the biggest feature on there. But anyways, I'll be remiss not to bring
up that Kendrick Lamar announces departure from Top Dog Entertainment on August 20th, 2021. Now,
now, now, why are you doing that to this man? Well, there's a reason why TD is now starting to
give us projects with their, uh, with their artists, because I believe if we've looked at the roster,
the only superstar technically left on the roster is Siza i believe because of course
Kendrick lamar left like i just said like hold on me bring this back up so he revealed well
kensi Lamar revealed all the way back in 2021 that he was in the process of creating his final
album for the label which behind the scenes everybody was saying that's why i took so long for
kentrick lamar to put out this album because he was beefing with the label trying to get off
so once the mr moreall and the big steppers came out made
13th, 2022, it officially marked the end of his long-standing relationship with TDE.
So now, I've pulled up to TDE roster.
And even though it's not like an exhaustive list, we have schoolboy Q, sir, Cal Banks,
Ray Vaughn.
So I don't think Sizz is on this.
I don't know why I thought Sizz was on his label.
Maybe I'm thinking of Sama Walker.
Okay, Siza is an artist under Top Dog Entertainment.
I was thinking I was like, hold on now.
But yeah, so Sizz is still.
on that label and basically
I'm not going to lie to you. Y'all just heard
the names I just list off on TDE. No disrespect
to y'all but Siza by far
in the way is just LeBron James that whole
team, that whole organization
so at this point I know Kendrick left
and he's never
coming back but
you still have Siza so I would do
anything and everything you have to do
to keep her but this segment
which you probably can't tell at this point
but it is about school boy Q so let's get back
into the album right
obviously he's one of the premier artists on top dog entertainment which is why he's putting this out
in the first quarter because the marketing dollars are probably going to be put behind him in a way
that makes him seem larger in the life not like in a fabric well yeah kind of in a fabricated way
but obviously you have to have core fans to some extent so despite hence at his release all the way
back to 2020 it took a lot for now us getting an actual project from this man so he's now
not exaggerating. He's actually given us a whole project. And in his press appearances, he basically said that he emphasized, um, he, no, he emphasized not viewing it as a competitive sport, but rather as a reflection of life experiences, which honestly is a pretty good take on hip hop, but it's just ultimately not true. Some of the biggest press built up on hip hop is because of beef and drama. Is it the most positive tool?
ever as far as the utilization of it in hip hop no but that's just the world we live in i mean
biggie and teupac wouldn't be as big as they are today if they wasn't beefing j z wouldn't be as
big as he was if he wasn't beefing with naz i know a lot of people say oh no that's not true but think
of all the people j z beef with and there's a lot of them drake i mean i think back to back literally
was the biggest turning point of drake's career to let other rappers know if you want to get into
the ring and compete with Drake is not going to go as easy as you think so hip hop is definitely
built off competition and it's definitely one of the more context sports and music genres like if it was a
if hip hop was a sport i would say it was m mma because people have you know i'm not trying to
you know get nobody indicted or anything you know shout out to young thug hopefully he gets out but you know
light a lot of bloodshed just spilled over this sport so um maybe that was too much of a light
sport to compare it to probably something else where people actually die but anyways um
school boy cue obviously you know is taking a more positive approach to this whole genre and it's
saying that it should be looked at as a reflection of life experiences which definitely should be the case
i mean i think andre 3 000 came out one time and said what he's going to rap about his colonoscopy
talking about how
he's too old to rap
which is just the biggest discredit
to his pen
I think I've ever seen
the lyricist like
as far as discrediting your pen
Andre 3,000 did the biggest
disservice to his pen
I think I've ever heard the lyricist
like
the whole disservice to his pen
was so disrespectful
that you would have thought a hater
was speaking to Andre 3,000
but it was actually Andre 3000
saying that about
himself so you're never too old to rap but as far as life experiences if you don't want to share
them that's also okay but joan had to come out say oh i'm too old like you're never too old to stop
experiencing life i mean unless you anyways uh school boy cue new album blue lips give it a listen
i i may be given to listen i probably won't but um you know at least i reported on it right
you know so i get to keep my rap card i guess but anyways uh click my link tree in my bio let me know what
my social media's what do you think about school boy cue just pulling a whole play on us just
straight up bamboozling uh hoodwinking us into thinking j z was going to be on the album with
this whole instagram post and it ended up not being on the album at all and will you be giving
this album blue lips a listen
