To say I'm out of my realm is definitely an understatement as sexy red and Sukhiana are not artists I respectively follow.
As they're not bad in general.
Well, I'm lying.
They are pretty terrible.
But at the end of the day, you know, that's not what we're here to talk about.
We're here just to discuss the actual objective details, which is some of the information surrounding sexy red and Sukiana.
So, of course, sexy red is from St. Louis.
Of course, from the famous line that everybody keeps reiterating that I'm from St. Louis and y'all know the rest of the bar.
Let's just leave it at that.
It just ends with something arching.
Let's just say that.
But it was honestly, it was clever.
But at the end of the day, bro, like, what are we talking about?
So she's been active since the 2010s, broke through with her 23 single pound town.
and went viral for uh when viral with pound town and then got a remix received a remix from
the queen of hip hop on nika mirage herself and i guess that coson pushed her into i'm not gonna say
stardom because i still don't know too much about her and right now i'm seeing just a 5.1 monthly
listeners which is definitely nothing to sneeze out of course but compared to a lot of different
artists in her field it's really not um anything spectacular also uh sexy red and
Suquiana, they have a track together. That's what I'm specifically talking about. It's titled
Hood Rats. It was on all DSPs now. If you want to hear that ignorance blurring through your
screen or through your ears, just know hood rats, sexy red Sukiana. And let's get into
the second artist. I didn't play the track. All right, let's get into the second artist who is
Sukiana. And as you know, I don't know anything about these artists, but going off these numbers,
I would say that they are in a very interesting place where it is make or break
because both of these artists are particularly new.
Sukiana, who's under OpenShift distribution, she is, let me see if I can find it.
So let me see.
She's from Wilmington, Wilmington, Delaware.
And basically, she boasts that she has a lot of talents, you know,
saying quote that she wrote her rap at six, well, I guess I can't quote and put it in paraphrase it.
She said, quote, I wrote my first rap at six years old.
After that, people would pay me to rap for them.
So, you know, she's boasting, talking about how she's been inspired by artists like Tupac, Rick Ross, Little Kim.
But at the end of the day, I don't hear none of that.
So, you know, it don't matter.
You know, Little Pump can be inspired by Tupac himself.
It does not help his rapping ability.
So at the end of the day, I'm not going to kill this track.
Obviously, it's, it's serviceable.
That's why I can say.
I like the concept.
I like the lyrics.
It's just the delivery is beyond atrocious.
And that's kind of the vibe I've been getting from sexy red.
The lyrics are the standout thing to me, ironically.
But it's the delivery that she's giving it.
And it's very much an interesting turn, whereas everybody was on Glorilla, as far as her being the next up and coming.
but now everybody seemingly turned to sexy red i don't know if there's something with that or to that
because she just signed to yo got it so maybe some other major label is upset uh which happens all the time
more than you probably would know but uh sexy red let me let me see what she's under so sexy red
for her uh single she's under oh open shift distribution okay they're both under the same label so
this what i'm gonna do i'm gonna look up i'm gonna look up what is open shift distribution because
If y'all don't know, these artists don't just collab because they like each other.
It's all business.
At the end of the day, music company.
Let me see.
OpenShift distribution.
All right, nobody knows anything about this label.
That's great.
Is real Boston Richie on this label?
Say it's not so.
Say it ain't so.
Hold up.
Open shift must be talking about openly going into the, oh, let me chill.
All right, anyways, let me see, Boston.
let me not get his manager mad at me again boston richie oh he just released a single oh today
not covering it but anyways he is not he is under free bands so i don't know what open shift distribution is
i can try one more search but i think that's pretty interesting because both of these artists are
under this label so um i think it'll be interested to see what is this what this label is
what is what i type in i forgot what i typed in
Open shift distribution.
I was wondering why in general these two artists will collab being sold new to the game.
Because I feel like when you do a Cloud Fusion, one of y'all have to be like actually clouded, you know?
So it's like it's a little different.
I don't know.
Maybe I'm, maybe I'm mistaken, you know.
How to do this distribution.
It's a platform that allows artists to distribute the music to,
Are these girls independent?
Hold on now.
Oh, no, see, I'm so glad I looked this up.
If these girls are independent, then I support them wholeheartedly.
Because let me tell you, getting on DSP playlist being independent is very difficult, like almost impossible.
Like, the last time I seen that happen was probably with Central C.
So I changed my whole sentiment.
These girls seem like they put out music independently.
And at the end of the day, that means they're getting solely supported by the core fan base.
So I changed my tone, apologize, the sexy red, and Sukiana.
Don't you just love notorious mass effect at the beginning?
That was completely open to just, which I still don't think the track is that good.
But still, being independent, the way that they're doing it,
putting it under their own out on their own as independent artists,
it's very, very interesting.
Yeah, I'll be interested to see,
I'll be interested to see where this goes, because if these two artists,
are not like signed then they may be two of the biggest like independent artists in the game
so we'll be i'll be interested to see how this goes that was definitely a plot twist for me i did not
think it was going to be independent because i saw it i literally saw this track on dsp spotify
playlist so i was like well some type of labels promoting this but uh because if you don't know
usually to get on dsp playlist um labels have certain connections let's just say that and obviously
say payola is involved is illegal and you can get sued for that so i'm just going to say they
have connections anyways so uh sexy rare and sukiyana you know more power to him uh you know
i sincerely apologize for for downplaying the independent artists like those two is very hard to even
get the numbers that they have as far as a sexy red with 5.1 monthly listeners and suciana
like what was it three no like 600 some thousand monthly listeners very difficult as the independent
artists because a lot of people think it's easy once you get the ball rolling but even the process
of getting the ball rolling sometimes it's the hardest like they always say if you want to uh
if you want to critique some you know just or see how hard something is just try to sell one of it
and and fisukiana and uh sexy red seems like they've done more than just sell what so anyways
click my link here in my bio let me know one of my social media is what do you think about these two
independent artists coming together for this track title
hood rats and after listening to it do you think is fire or trash
