Starting point is 00:00:03 Now getting into an artist that saying that he had one of the more successful years in one single year is an understatement. As we already know, right? Shibuzi is one of the more prominent artists of 2024 to the point where when he went to the country awards show, which I don't know why he did that. I know we in 2025, but my brother, they are racist. I'll forget who went on that stage to accept the award, but his manager, not even the artist, his manager came out after he won the award to say, guess what?
Starting point is 00:00:43 We've been kicking Shibuzi for quite some time. If you don't believe me, hold on, let me get the sound bite. You know, sometimes been kicking Shibuzi. Let me type this in correctly so y'all can hear this. So y'all don't think I'm making it up, right? Let's play this one more time. Just so y'all can hear the racist remarks on Shibuzi. going to the country award show.
Starting point is 00:01:05 It takes an army of people to make a great record, but I got to tell you, this is for this cowboy who's been kicking Shibuzi for a lot of years, y'all. Been kicking Shibuzi for a lot of years. Now, I don't know about y'all, but if he would have went to the BET Awards, which he actually did, and he performed.
Starting point is 00:01:26 Shout out to Shibuzzi. I really like Shibuzzi as an artist. I don't know if this came across yet. But all I got to say is going to the CMA is my brother. They don't like you. They're going to be racist in a lot of ways. And most of a majority, 99% of the ways are going to be racist is going to be passive, aggressive. But that was the most aggressive way that I've seen them be racist at the CMAs.
Starting point is 00:01:51 I mean, saying you kick in Shibuzzi. I looked up Shibuzzi in the Urban Dictionary. There's no definition. That man was throwing a direct shot at Shibuzzi, who was a black man with the most. successful country song of all time. Like at some point, we have to say that what they did a Shibuzzi at the CMA Awards
Starting point is 00:02:08 needs reparations. You know how we joke about reparations? We need actual reparations from the CMAs. I need a fine. Whoever the artist is or whoever the agent was for that artist, you know, just to be fair. The artist didn't say that. It was his manager.
Starting point is 00:02:24 So his manager saying they've been kicking Shibuzi. I need him to be fine. I need that to go to Shibuzi. And then at the next CMAs, I need Shibusi to have a whole set. And at the top, I needed to say, we're not kicking Shibuzi. That's it, right? Because they might as well say, we're not racist, but that would be too much of a stretch. Because we all know, you know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 00:02:48 The country genre is not helping their case on being, anyways, let me chill. So anyways, Shabuzi, back to him. So this man has a single out titled, Blinked twice, and it came out today, of course, and it features Miles Smith. Now, I believe I've covered Miles Smith in the past. Let me see. So I haven't.
Starting point is 00:03:05 I have not covered Miles Smith. You know, no disrespect to him. I just haven't covered him. Now, when it comes to Shibuzzi, I've covered him a plethora of times to the point where I've said, Shibuzzi's album
Starting point is 00:03:17 where I've been is where I'm going was my favorite album of 2024. Yes, ladies and gentlemen, that's how much I enjoy Shibuz's entire album. Not a Barthi's. song i enjoyed a bar song but not but his entire album to the point where my favorite song off of his album wasn't even a bar song it was which track was it because i was singing these tracks word for word like this album is phenomenal and i just clicked on it and he's actually having a deluxe edition
Starting point is 00:03:49 where our bin isn't where i'm going the complete edition that comes out in 13 days well who would a thunk so wow okay so that has jelly roll on it with a track title a man that has hell Mary on it fire and gasoline chrome i'm talking about the additional tracks has blink twice as already out and it has good news so those are all those are all the additional tracks on the complete edition of my favorite album of last year but anyways getting back to his previous album so from that album i liked annabel i liked highway and i think Vegas was one of my favorites. No, no, stiller from me. I really like Stiller from me. I don't know what it is about tracks, about heartbreak, but I think that's one of the best themes to get your stuff off on, right?
Starting point is 00:04:39 There's a PG podcast, and let me just say that. That's one of the best themes to get your, whatever you have on your chest to get it off it, right? I think Stiller from me is a very great track as far as the theme and how he delivered it, right? The execution on where I've been isn't where I'm going. I cannot describe how phenomenal that album is. Really a masterclass on how to combine the country genre
Starting point is 00:05:05 and the hip-hop genre. Not to throw shade at this other artist because I think he's immensely talented. You know, the devil antics to the side. I think he's immensely talented. But what Leonard's X did with country and hip-hop was phenomenal as far
Starting point is 00:05:21 as Old Town Road and then him having Billy Ray Cyrus on a remix. What Shibuzi did, as far as the entire body of work, is the epitome of what the highest of heights, as far as quality could look and sound like as far as the collab, as far as a crossover collab of the two genres that is country and hip hop. And I think that's the highest praise I can give an artist. You know, successfully pulling off country and hip hop is very difficult. Other artists have successfully done it, but I think Shibuzi mastered it. And that just goes back into his latest track, Blink Twice, where I think it's a phenomenal track.
Starting point is 00:06:00 And I can't wait to hear that entire deluxe edition of his album, where I've been is and where I'm going. And now the deluxe edition is actually titled the Complete Edition. And that's set to come out April 25th, 2025. So that's been said. Click my link to your in my bio. Let me know on one of my social medias. What do you think about Shibusi?
Starting point is 00:06:20 Do you feel the same way I do? Or on another note, What do you think about the CMAs, which is the Country Music Awards, being blatantly racist to Shibuzi?
