Now, Cardi B is back again to have another contribution to her whole discography as she has attached herself to the one and only Shakira.
Yes, ladies and gentlemen, basically Cardi B and Shakira have come back again to put out this collaboration titled, well, it's titled something, which I'm pretty sure is a curse word.
I do not necessarily fluently speak that language, but I do know.
that that specific word is probably an expletive.
And since this is a PG podcast,
y'all just got to type in Cardi B and Shakira
and find out the title for yourself.
So anyways, in an interview,
Cardi B and Shakira express mutual admiration and excitement
for the collaboration, of course.
And basically, this is the marketing driver
for her album, Shakira,
which features 17 tracks,
including collaboration.
remixes in marking her first studio project since 2017 El Dorado El Dorado but the track
with Cardi B is the one that's going to be the premier single for this album I
believe so anyways I think the biggest thing to note here is that Cardi B is making
an effort and I mean a premier effort to stay on the charts I don't know
if the analytics are backing the amount of effort that Cardi B is putting into her music,
but nevertheless, at least the effort is there.
Because for the longest, people have said that she's been scared to drop,
she's been scared to put out anything, afraid of being judged,
which being judged is definitely a part of life.
So at some point, she's got to come out the gate and put out some type of music.
And she's been doing that with the enough Miami track with the remix.
The free, not the remix, the freestyle.
I forget what that was called.
Yeah, the like what freestyle.
And I'm getting like conflicted reports because I'm not going to lie to you.
Chart data is saying that all 12 versions of Cardi B's enough in parentheses Miami is simultaneously charting in the top 100 U.S. iTunes.
I don't know who uses iTunes.
no shot to them, but I don't see her track on the charts at all.
So I'm like, what does that say about the specific platform charts?
Because I don't know if bragging about US iTunes is the thing to do whenever the overall
official charts, which is Billboard, only has one of Cardibee's tracks on the charts and
is barely in the top of 184.
Now, obviously, you could probably say that with her track, it is, or it did peak at number 38,
but it's been on the charts for two weeks since it's already at 84, so it's kind of showing the precipitous drop that is unlike Cardi B as far as her putting out music.
On the other hand, my marketing strategy that I was proposing is that she just keeps dropping and hopefully something sticks.
So it seems like she's continuing to do that as his track with Shakira is definitely going to be the driving factor for Shakira releasing her album, which I think is already out.
I'm pretty sure because it comes out today, I believe, but I didn't check to see if it was out or not because the track seems to be the only thing they're promoting.
So that's what I'm going to focus on.
But at the end of day, I don't really have too much to say.
I mean, Cardi B is continuously putting in effort to encapsulate the masses with her musical ability.
And statistically, it seems to not be working.
But for me, I just appreciate the fact that Cardi B is trying time and time again to put out tracks to impact the charts because that's what they do it for.
They wouldn't be spending all this money on promotion and music videos to not have some type of analytical success.
I mean, if you knew the overhead for these top.
artists and musicians to even drop you would know that they're trying to make some type of
return on investment for their major labels because that's the ones who's giving them their advances
and their paycheck so at the end of day carty b just has to continue at it um probably just come with
another track a week or two from now a lot of the you know numbers i'm getting is saying that
miami is bigger than like what but then i don't see it on the charts so
I think they're bragging about certain U.S.
Specific platform numbers like Apple,
which is nothing wrong with that.
But then when it comes to the overall scheme of things,
it's not even on the charts.
So I think that's a little misleading to her fans
because then her fans are going to think
that their support is enough to get her,
well, their support has been enough
to make her have success on the charts,
which is just unfortunately not the case.
You're going to need a little bit more
from the Cardi fan base,
driving her music sales in the near future to have any type of success for her actual album
that's set to come out this year. So with that being said, really nothing else to get into
new track by Shakira Cardi B out now in all DSPs. And if you want to know the title,
I mean, just look up Cardi B, Shakira and you'll know why I wasn't able to say it because this is
indeed a PG podcast. So with that being said, click my link, sure, in my bio. Let me know in one of
my social medias what do you think about cardi b and shikara's new track and also what do you think about
carty be struggling to have any type of longevity impact on the charts this year and do you think
that she can rectify that going into the future
