The Mexican-Argentine duo—Leonel García (b. 1975) and Noel Schajris (b. 1974)—formed in 2000, bonding over piano-guitar harmonies and emotive pop-ballads. Their 2001 debut won Latin Grammys; 2003’s De Viaje (#1 Billboard Top Latin Albums 16 weeks, multi-platinum) birthed “Que Lloro,” a vulnerability-drenched breakup anthem written by García and produced by Áureo Baqueiro. Peaking #10 Hot Latin Songs with 11.2M weekly impressions (2004), it now boasts 200M+ Spotify streams, 150M+ YouTube views—plus 50M from the 2007 Reik duet. Streaming surged 40% post-2016 reunion, hitting 10M+ annual equivalents; 60% from Spotify/YouTube, 25% Apple Music LatAm. Starting point is 00:00:03 Now when it comes to the Mexican Romantic ballad duo, safe to say they're back again because they originally formed the 2000 and they're still going strong in the big year of 2025. Now, the Sin Bandera Acinas Tour, hopefully I'm saying that right, is of course the reunion concert set for 2026 by Mexican pop duo Sin Bandera, which is Leonel Garcinac. and Noel Scarce, no, I can't pronounce that, angle cap to you. Anyways, they've been inactive since 2016. So for huge fans of this particular band that started around the early 2000s,
Starting point is 00:00:51 that of course, when it comes to Garcia, when it comes to Noel, well, when it comes to Leonel and Noel, safe to say, they bonded over the piano plus acoustic guitar arrangement, and of course, ballad, songwriting, and emotive harmonies. And their breakout was a debut album that happened in 2001
Starting point is 00:01:11 that was in Bendera. And yes, ladies and gentlemen, these are not just some random artists. They won multiple Latin Grammy Awards. So as far as being active in 2001, fast forwarding in 2025, and they're looking at the objective analytics and saying to yourself,
Starting point is 00:01:31 hold on now, you're telling me a duo from the 2000, literally 2000 to 2001, is around where they, when they start, You're telling me in the big year of 2025, they have a track title K Lora that's currently as far as videos, the seventh most watched video in the world. I mean, goodness gracious. But then you know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 00:01:53 So that's really insane as far as the longevity aspect, right? But now looking at it, looking at it from the people who are going to support them and basically go to the live shows, safe to say that. When you look at Sen Banderer, I don't specifically see any tracks that's charting in Mexico. So overall, I don't know exactly where they get all the numbers from, but it does seem like they have a lot of Latin radio airplay as far as them being super dominant in 2004, according to Nielsen, as far as 11.2 million weekly audience impressions on Latin radio. I do believe they probably helped them out a lot. So the transition, because of course back in the 2000, early 2000s, there wasn't a lot of DSPs and just people sharing music willy-nilly on their phones. I think the radio helped them out so much that they kept their fan base and now they basically rejuvenated their fan base by this tour because they've been inactive since 2016. The monthly listeners surged by 40% on Spotify since their post-2016 re-reviewed.
Starting point is 00:03:06 union. So they're really looking forward to this duo coming back together. You already know the meta in the music industry is that if you go on tour, you're going to make a lot more money than if you just put out music, right? And sounds easy until you realize, hold up now, the way to make money is to have actual ability when it comes to being able to have cold, hard tickets. So as far as getting people to come sit and watch your performance, not a festival, not in appearance. To come watch specifically for you is a phenomenal feat that this duo can do since the 2000s, right? Since the 2000, they've been able to do this.
Starting point is 00:03:54 And they still are going to pull this out off as far as in the 2026 reunion. Because if the analytics or anything to go by, the huge. surge and listenership showcases how a lot of people have been waiting for these two to reunite. So when it comes to that, I do believe them also being featured on the Stingray slash Amazon karaoke catalogs. That definitely helps a lot, you know, as far as just having that nostalgic like effect. And of course, the right playlist that your music is on can always help your career. And the karaoke usage contributed to 20% of ancillary digital sales in Latin Mark
Starting point is 00:04:34 So really when I'm getting across to you, because of course, we cover the entire music and gaming industry. I'm basically letting you know. There's so many different ways to market your music. Of course, if you're not making great music, then that's the first step you need to get past. But once you're making great music, it's up to you to find the multiple different pathways that you can affect the masses. Right. So anyways, that's essentially what I wanted to get at, because if this is not a testament of longevity, which I love covering artists, this like they've been around since 2000 literally at 2000 in 2001 is when they started in the big
Starting point is 00:05:09 2025 not only are they going crazy as far as a reunite a uh a reunion concert but they're also spiking and sales and streams like basically the testament to giving great quality and your fan base rewarding you which is why i believe they still have to sever the most watched video when it comes to k luro uh their specific track that came out in 2020. I don't know. When did it come out? When did this specific track come out?
Starting point is 00:05:40 It came out in 2003. So with that being said, click my link to you in my bio. Let me know in one of my social medias. What do you think about Sin Benderra with their track K. Loro being the seventh most watched video in the world? And ultimately, if you are a Sin Bender fan, will you be going to watch their 2026 reunion when it happens April 11th, 2026? at I'm trying to pronounce this right. And Fentietro, Coca-Cola, Aluela, Aolauela,
Starting point is 00:06:14 I'm not to say, that ain't going to cap to you. Basically, in Costa Rica, will you be going to watch these gentlemen perform April 11th of 2026?
