After collaborating with the likes of Drake, The Weekend, Kendrick Lamar, and a plethora of other talented artists, Snow Allegra is back again to give a single solely performed by herself.
As her newest single titled Sweet Tea has just been released and it's also a viral rendition of the late Bobby Caldwell's 1987.
what you won't do for love.
So in general, in her interview with Apple Music,
Snow Allegra, of course, smoked, spoke about her recent,
just evolution as an artist and also how she decides to put out new music into the world,
basically saying, quote,
I wrote it prior to the kind of finishing up to the production,
and once and once it was completed.
and just really felt really spiritual in a way.
And then she continued saying,
it also has one of my favorite bridges I've ever written.
And that bridge really takes me to another place in the song.
So I kind of want to leave it off at that
because when you listen to that actual song,
it's a little different.
It's not too many vocals taken over the track.
I feel like the production kind of takes it.
takes a front row seat as far as the song.
Like the vocals are kind of like a backup of the production.
And in general, I kind of realize why she labeled it spiritual as it's a very interesting
beat she chose to go with.
I don't know how to break it down from a technicality standpoint.
But just from listening to it, you can definitely tell she was going for a church
or whatever religion type of vibe.
And I feel like it kind of came across an actual beat.
You have to listen to it yourself because for me explaining it,
it probably is it the most straightforward.
But if you listen to the track, listen to the beat,
you will realize it's not something you're used to hearing from a pop artist such
as Snow Allegra.
I mean, she's a Grammy women.
I can't even talk today, but it's okay.
We're going to keep going.
She's a Grammy winning.
music producer no no sweet tea is produced by grammy winning music producer no id who of course
has worked with the goat of the ghost like me j z Kanye west riana gnaz i mean you name it so
for no idea to produce this track sweet tea and for her to label it as a spiritual type of track
and going off my personal listen, first listen, mind you, so I haven't listened to it multiple times.
But from the first listen, I could say that it's very different for what I'm used to hearing.
Of course, covering hip hop, going from people who rhyme about the 20 million ways they can kill somebody,
transitioning from that to Snow Allegra's Sweet Tea, it was a very welcome change of pace.
and I feel like it's a solid track overall.
And it's no pun intended.
It's acquired taste for the single from Snow Allegra,
Allegra titled Sweet Tea.
