Analytic Dreamz addresses the frustration from errors in dynamic ad insertion—particularly impacting podcasts—where Spotify's system adds ads independently, even for some Premium experiences or during uploads via Spotify for Creators, leaving many without clear resolutions despite community complaints. This update informs the audience on navigating these platform challenges for better listening and distribution. Shepard, promise me you'll tell them to subscribe for at free content.
You know, last time I did this specific segment, it did wonders for notorious mass effect.
And the reason is because I give it eight more than 92.
In lamest terms, I shoot it straight.
So with this specific segment, we're basically calling out Spotify once again.
As ladies and gentlemen, this specific segment that I have up on the screen right now,
analytic dreams video on spotify to see the video along with the audio very ironic ain't um it came
out april 5th 2025 now of course it's not no type of animosity this is not no livingston allen type of
rant as far as his fourth you know down in his fourth hennessy bottle and going on the same tirade
i mean he's been going to everybody mona um who else he goes at um jim jones i mean you name it
rory and maul this is not those type of things you know with me specifically and the beef realm i think is
non-existent but as far as the platforms that I have to address safe to say no it's never beef but
those type of rants that I have it's always towards corporations it's kind of crazy you know you have
to peek your battles wisely and it's safe to say um this is a very interesting one
as uh I want to say this is a wise battle but it definitely helped last time because you know
the transparency is key especially in how notorious mass effect has grown to over 18 total million
downloads so anyways with that being said
Keeping the transparency top of my priority list, the main thing I want to let you on in on is Spotify specifically is going at certain content creators.
And I think it's a blanket state because a lot of people put out these certain tracks and they have it under a podcast.
So it stays up on DSPs, right?
Even though they're illegally playing music.
And of course, those get flagged as copywritten and taken down, right?
We're a while.
Now, of course, these have happened for notorious mass effect in the past when I wasn't.
playing music as far as under my anchor tenure and I think that was like from 2020 to 22
like late 2022 so and those are like snippets that I was playing like I'll talk about the track and
then play a snippet these other accounts are just playing it full on right they're like here's the
track I'm like hold them now ain't that illegal you guys and come to find out it is so anyways
in the midst of those accounts being taken down mine my anchor tenure was uh combined in that and
they took that down as well so that's why I call this what I call it as far as the um
the blanket way that they go at specific sound recording copyrighted actions.
So now, fast forward, you know, after starting again on Red Circle completely not putting any snippets in my segments,
we are not only at the same level we were before, but I think it was 2023 to 2026.
We are one of the biggest music platforms in the world.
Like literally, I wasn't going to do this because, you know, you know, it's not really trying to pat myself on the bat.
Actually, let me go to the charts right quick because I don't really go to the charts like that
But the main thing I was one to showcase was I don't know if I had to go on my
I may have to go on my phone to actually pull it up specifically because you look at podcast charts
Let me see podcast charts
Yeah, I think they have the overall ones but I was one of the ones
Let me see
Anyways, I'm just gonna go on my phone so y'all can go with me on my phone because you know there's no cap in my rap
So you go to Spotify you open Spotify out right I'm doing this exactly
how y'all should do it so go to spotify uh let me see is it you're a lot no you go to search
podcast uh you scroll down a little bit and yeah you go to podcast charts and on mobile it has
the different categories right you go to top podcast by category at the bottom you go to top music
and of course you scroll down you know you scroll down a little bit you know not too much not too
much now not too much on it and you see your boy in in the top music podcast in the world
Now, of course, that comes from notoriously breaking down the gaming and music IPs that notoriously affect the masses, hence the name.
And when you look at what I'm about to get into, we're going to keep it very short.
But the main thing I was when I let you all in on is the way that I cover music, I don't think a lot of people do it in the music industry.
Like, it's safe to say the way I've made a living, which I'm very thankful for as far as all my supporters.
I would say it's Anthony Fantanel-esque with a mix of like Big Boy, Pulse, as far as what I do, as far as covering the music industry as far as specific songs.
So the reason I say that is because I've been lumped into these other accounts that just blatantly ripped music and put it under the podcast title, which you know those get taken down.
So sometimes I get combined into that, which leads me to my point, to the whole point of this segment.
So there's a specific segment that they're going at.
And I would say the name, but it really doesn't matter.
So it's a specific segment they're going at because of this popular artist under this label.
And y'all can probably figure out who it is once I get into it.
one of the biggest artists in the world so it's this um with the claim you know they they currently go
through a certain system or whatever but the way that they're doing it now is like it's hard to respond
back to so last time i did this basically let's just say let's just say it worked you know what
i'm saying without going into detail because you know i'm not trying to be messy i'm just letting
them know that there's no actual official way to do this instead of making this whole segment
about it when my supporters can see it transparent
right and also as far
as what I've put out in the past they can see
this as a pattern um
that I have to deal with so hopefully
somebody at UMG
can see this and say hold up now
this man's just talking about the game
in a way that we love you know what I'm saying
breaking it down from an analytical standpoint
you know what I'm saying out here notoriously affecting
shepherd all right my fault so
getting got a podcast mode getting back
in the informative mode so
they went through a certain system where they basically said let me see if I can find it
we've received a complaint that your content infringes on the sound recording copyright as
as a result of reported content is taken down worldwide right uh worldwide right usually when that
comes there's like a appeal because it doesn't happen too often it's like a mistake they I appeal it
and then they realize like I'm just talking about the music not playing it at all not even playing
the music video and then they reversed the action so with this one I responded back to the
email and this happened like I think uh if you're in the future this happened around like
march 6 um I responded back to him right because you know I have like certain people that
helped me out with that so they responded back to him and basically this is the first time I've
received this this is why I'm making this segment because there's no official way to do this because
after this step it's like I don't know what to do after this like I guess I could email them
which I did but you know we'll see if UMG responds right you know they're dealing with certain
someone is it okay I got my dope on me and they're just blatantly blatantly taking down certain
things. So anyways, um, they responded. They was like, okay, thank you for let. So after I said
like a detailed response, letting them know what I do and how I didn't, you know, is fair to use, all
that stuff, right? And I'm not like these other accounts, just blatantly ripping music. They basically
was like, thank you for letting us know. The content will be remained taken down. Hold up now.
It will remain taken what? Oh, you guys. See, that's the problem. And, you know, this is Spotify.
This is UMG we're talking about. So as far as big dogs in the industry, I mean, it doesn't really
getting much bigger than that post. So now
definitely responded to them specifically as far as UMG,
but making this segment just to bring them awareness
of notorious Mass Effect, because not only are we one of the biggest music
podcast in the world, but using my platform
like this to let them know specifically how I conduct
my music and gaming reviews will probably bring
light to the situation. And maybe, just maybe somebody from their
team, just like other labels do. Something, you know,
not to, you know, brag, but you know, I got certain
insights from other labels. You know,
have a specific person, they'd be like, oh, not him specifically, because he does this and this and this.
You know, it's just, I think these people are just unaware, which is what happened in the Thomas
Rett situation. I think it's the last time I had to deal with something like this, and they basically
took it back. Like, I knew it wasn't him. I knew it was probably his team. Once we talked about it,
they literally, I was praising him and giving him, like, I always like, I would be like,
oh, maybe I sit something bad about the artist in the Eminem situation, but no, with Thomas
Ray, I was praising him. His music and his tour, I was informing to people. I also giving
praise. I actually like the track that he put out.
So that's still up, right?
Because, you know, they reversed it.
But in this one, a very interesting response because there's no way to actual reverse it instead of like talking to UMG.
And I'm pretty sure UMG gets a plethora of several, just a mountain avalanche of email.
So this is the best way for me to do it.
Not going to lie to you.
So short and sweet, ladies and gentlemen, I want to call this beef just, you know, politely bringing it to your attention.
You know what I'm saying?
But then, you know what I'm saying?
So anyways, hopefully they enjoy this.
At the end of the day, it's not like some type of entertainment type of segment.
This is really just informative from my fans out there to let you know what's currently going on with notorious mass effect.
And, you know, at the end of the day, it's not going to stop anything because, you know, when it comes to the specific, it's not like a strike.
It's basically at this point, it took the strike away.
And now we just got to figure out the whole putting back up the specific segment, which that segment wasn't even like a top performer.
It was just like one of the segments that just was lumped in with other accounts, you know.
So with the follow up, I'm expecting some type of response for UMG.
This segment may not go out if they hit me up pretty soon, but if they don't,
I guess we gotta put this out for the world to know.
So, and last time I did that, it helped out.
So here we are again, you know what I'm saying?
So, with that being said, we're still going to give the shameless plug at the end of this segment.
Click my link to you in my bio.
Let me know one of my social media's.
What do you think about analytic dreams?
Shepherd.
What do you think about this whole Spotify debacle and the UMG interest in situation?
At the end of the day, when it comes to content,
If you're a fellow content creator out there, just know that transparency is always key.
And that's what I want to leave you with.
