Starting point is 00:00:00 now before i play this video shameless plug make sure to follow my analytic dreams video channel that's only uh exclusively the video part is exclusively on spotify just type just type in analytic dreams video to make sure to follow that as all of my video elements would be uploaded to that portion obviously this entire segment won't be video like i'm going to be talking for the most part and you will still hear audio but as far as the video portion definitely type in An analytic dreams video on Spotify as is exclusively video for Spotify I don't know y'all get what I'm saying anyways let's get into the video so if you don't know what we're looking at is an open world action adventure game by star wars well based in the star wars world and as you can
Starting point is 00:00:50 tell it's going to be pretty expansive and this is set between the events of the empire strikes back and the return of the Jedi. I want to survive to play their game. Also, this is like currently developed by massive entertainment. It's set to come out this year. And honestly, from looking at the gameplay, we are going to get into the gameplay. But it looks kind of finished, which kind of makes sense because if a game developer says it's coming out the same year, you will hope is finished.
Starting point is 00:01:31 But as we've seen with Cyberpunk 2077, that's not always the case. Obviously, this isn't gameplay, but we're going to get to gameplay in the second. second. I love how every Star Wars main protagonist has like a little creature that follows them, like either a robot or just an animal. I'm here to offer you a way out, okay? Get off my ship, Jalen. Give me a chance. You're gonna have to trust me. You'll be dangerous, risky. But if you pull this off, you'll never look over your shoulder again. Uh, the mighty rancor and it You gotta love the mighty rancor because at the end of the day, that took me forever to be a Star Wars Jedi Survivor.
Starting point is 00:02:42 Shameless plug to my TikTok if you want to watch me go against the rancor. Analytic Dreams video, of course. Well, not video, but analytic dreams. Coming 2024. Oh, well, I thought it was coming out this year. Okay, well, it was coming out 2024. I don't know if they push you back or what. But in general, it's created by Massive and what else.
Starting point is 00:03:13 Let me look at this right quick. Hold on. Give me one second. It's created by Massive. And Ubisoft. Interesting. Ubisoft is making an open world game for Star Wars Outlaws. Could end up being fire.
Starting point is 00:03:32 These are the same people that made Wash Dogs, if I'm not mistaken. Obviously, they made a lot of other games. It's probably more prominent. But for me, as a gamer, I personally play Watch Dogs 1 and 2. I didn't play 3 because I heard that was just terrible but um yeah in general i'm excited for a game a open world game set in the star wars universe developed by ubyself i mean obviously it's developed by massive entertainment but it's under ubisoft so ubysov knows what they they are doing and i think at this point when you look at both of the
Starting point is 00:04:04 companies it gets to an understanding of you got to have a certain amount of trust to like a person have your IP like this like when marvel gave spider-man to insomniac to develop that was a match made in heaven because honestly i don't know if anybody has given us a better version of spider-man since insomniac and shameless plug spider-man two is coming out this year so you already know i'm super excited because spider-man ps4 i didn't know it's been this long but i think that came out like what 2017-2018 so it's been a long wait for another spider-man game obviously we had mottis morales and we had DOC that led up into like 2018, 2019. But for the most part, as far as a full-length Spider-Man project
Starting point is 00:04:49 or a Spider-Man game, we haven't been given that at all. And some of the gameplay, I did want to get into the gameplay. Let me see it right here. Some of the gameplay is... Oh, though, I'm trying to make sure you all I can see it first. Okay. Some of the gameplay is right here, so you can tell the pretty much... I'm not going to say to finish with the game,
Starting point is 00:05:16 but I will say that the game looks surprisingly finished and surprisingly polished like this is like a good looking game right here like if this was the release right now I don't think we'll see any complaints but as we've seen in cyberpunk 2077 games can come out
Starting point is 00:05:37 on a vertical slice and look amazing and then the full game comes down is just a buggy mess so shout out to CD Project Red because I think if it wasn't them we would just give every developer grace when they show us gameplay releases like this like even the running looks smooth wow is that an ad is that an ad while i'm in the middle of my star wars review that is actually insane all right i muted that for y'all so now y'all get to listen to me
Starting point is 00:06:12 so for the most part i think the gameplay looks phenomenal of course we're going to get back into it uh in three two all right here we go here we go here that was a crazy i mean i guess they got to make them money somehow right shout out to myself not just anyways so the graphics look great um um ubysov usually does well with open world games so i'm not really concerned in that aspect oh let me turn the sound back on i mean this chase scene like on live this game came out right obviously i don't think it could come out because i wonder if um who made survivor i wonder if respawned
Starting point is 00:06:54 has a non-compete, which means you can't put out another Star Wars game in the same year that we release ours. Because this is not the same studio. This is Ubisoft. So I wonder if Respond has a non-compete to where Ubisoft had to push it back a year.
Starting point is 00:07:13 Because this game looks finished. All right, so we're going to pause right there. So for the most part, obviously the game looks phenomenal. It's developed by massive entertainment under Ubisoft. So I'm not really too concerned in that. aspect. I think at the end of the day when you're looking at Star Wars video games, I don't think we've ever had like a just a utterly trash Star Wars game. I'm not the biggest Star Wars fan,
Starting point is 00:07:44 but I have played more games and I've enjoyed more games than I have the movies. And even Jedi Survivor. That's literally one of my top five games of all time. Like it's is that good to me. Like I would not be surprised if it's one game of the year because the replay. The Reaping, play value that's in Survivor compared to other games at that $70 price tag. It's just non-comparable to most of, most if not all the games that came out this year. And maybe of all the time, Respond really gave us one of the best Star Wars games of all time because in general, we all know it's a trilogy, but it did not end like it was a trilogy. Like it had a start, middle, and the end.
Starting point is 00:08:27 Like it was not no cliffhanger. We went into one story. and then we clearly know what's going to happen the next one, but it wasn't like a cliffhanger. But I don't know if that's a spoiler. I don't think that's a spoiler. But at the end of the day, I'm excited for this game.
Starting point is 00:08:41 I think that in general, massive entertainment definitely has a lot on their hands because, you know, people are going to be nitpicking every detail with this game. Because if you don't know, Star Wars fans are a little outrageous when it comes to feedback. And if you don't believe me, just look at the feedback.
Starting point is 00:09:00 that all of the past three movies got as far as like plot lines and who should look like what and specifically Finn let's just say there was a lot said about that character and um poe that's a black character i think that was his name poe or maybe i got the names mixed up anyways you know star wars fans or something else y'all guys need to chill out because it's a good time to be a Star Wars fan right now. Video games are going well. The TV show and or I heard this going well. I heard it didn't perform financially as well as it should have because the budget was
Starting point is 00:09:39 like humongous. But for the most part, the quality was there. So the quality in video games is there. The quality and TV shows is there. But the movies. Now that's the tricky one for y'all right now. So it could be all bad. You know, as a Spider-Man fan, I remember the days when we was in the amazing Spider-Man
Starting point is 00:09:57 too and the spinoff video. video game and the TV show took off spectacular Spider-Man so we was we was going through it but at this point I think we're in the golden age of Spider-Man content and I think Star Wars is getting to that point where they finally figuring out the world and how in what direction they want to go in so you can tell that especially with Jedi Survivor so anyways that's all I have for you as far as uh this new open world action adventure game that's going to be I think it looks phenomenal I'm not going to going to say it's just going to be fire because it's a vertical slice but at the end of the day what they show does does look like immersive gameplay so click my link to my bio let me know
Starting point is 00:10:40 one of my social medias what do you think about star wars outlaws and also what do you think about it being set in between the events of empire strikes back and return of the jedi because i feel like that that leads to a lot of iconic characters popping up but so yeah click my little let me share my bio let me know one of my social media is what iconic character would you like to see pop up in the star wars outlaws video game and are you excited for it's eventual uh for it to be eventually released
