Now, for those who don't know what Starfield is, is a Xbox exclusive so that we can not say the Xbox don't have any games any longer, which is unfortunate.
But it's a harsh reality for PlayStation fans out there that the GamePas on Microsoft or just the GamePas direction that Microsoft is going seems to be a better longevity play than what PlayStation is currently doing with having exclusives.
if that makes sense.
Like,
PlayStation has the figure heads of exclusives,
which is God of War,
Horizon,
and Spider-Man, of course,
and other ones on top of that.
But for the most part,
Game Pass,
especially post-pandemic,
or even during the pandemic,
seems to be a more sustainable model
because it appeals to every gamer.
Like,
who wouldn't pay a certain subscription
to have access to a plethora of games.
I mean, it's literally the equivalent
of paying or monthly payment for Spotify
and having access to all the music.
Now, obviously, that's a stretch.
It's not the same equivalent.
You know, some of the music may be missing off.
It's only certain games that's on a Game Pass.
But what I'm saying is,
you get a lot of bang for your buck.
Yes, I just said bang for your buck
as the game, when the game pass is concerned.
Because high-fi rush,
is probably one of the better games out currently that came out this year and that's on the game
pass uh you have starfield coming out which is on a game pass you have uh wo long dynasty which is also
on the game pass like that right there are you already got your money back from the the yearly
subscription of the game pass i forget how much it is but i think it's around like i don't want to
just throw out a number but uh actually let me look that up since this is an x-bark segment we're going
to start field being delayed but before we do that let me see how much the xbox game pass is
because i'm pretty sure it's not that expensive and what's not expensive is obviously subjective
but so it's 15 dollars a month but i know sometimes when it's a year they give you a little bit of
a lesser price i mean if you like times 15 by 12 it's usually a lesser price than that let me see
the show me Xbox game pass can you pay yearly you can buy a 12 month because it's stackable
I usually buy an entire year when I find a really good game pass ultimate discount
okay so you can stack them but you can't get a full year interesting that's very interesting
okay so you can you can stack game passes but you can't just buy a full year interesting
well anyways it's $15 a month which is uh i mean if you're actually playing a lot of games
you can definitely get your i mean new gen games well new gen that's not even the thing what am i saying
current current gen games are 70 dollars so if you're paying $15 a month
times 12 that's $180 which you know it's a pretty size of
amount for a year but let's say you play a game a month you know what I mean 12 times 70
that's 840 so let me come on now you're looking at 180 dollars for a game pass that you can play a
whole bunch of games compared to if you play a game a month will cost you a 140 dollars so uh you know
it's a pretty sizable difference in that and all I you know it's basically like a seven
a hundred dollar difference so uh you know i think you get your bang for your buck i keep saying that
i don't know why i keep saying that for the game pass and that's really why i wanted to drive home is that
a lot of people are struggling nowadays because you know the pandemic and stuff but um the game pass
offers a system to where you can now afford games you might not have have had the money for
strictly because you're subscribed to a hub, a gaming hub.
So hopefully that makes sense to y'all.
If not, then, you know, I apologize.
But anyways, Starfield has been delayed once again.
And the only thing about this delay is that we got an actual release day.
So it was delayed, quote unquote, because they specifically said, let me see, I know they specifically said this.
Because they lie to our faces.
I don't like when people get up on their showcases and lie directly to gamers' faces.
That's one thing I do not like.
Let me see if I can find this.
This don't make any sense.
They literally lied directly to our faces.
It was kind of, it's one of those bold-faced lies.
It was just like, bro, you really didn't have to say that.
Like, you could have just said, like, you know, it's going to come out.
Like, you didn't have to say, oh, before.
Okay, yeah, okay, right here.
So during the Xbox and Bethesda game showcase,
immediately after revealing all the games they have for the Xbox Game Pass, right?
They said all of these games will come out 12 months from the showcases airing.
So at the time, people was like, okay, well, Starfield is coming out, you know, soon, quote
unquote.
I believe that was like a year, I think that was a year or two ago.
So, you know, they just straight up lied to our faces.
and that just
as really
unfortunate, you know, for
a fan base to look for
developer showcase to be factual
and, you know,
actually giving the facts. I mean, why would you
go to a random person
instead of listen to the vice president of the
company, you know what I'm saying? And for the vice
president, just a lot of people's faces acting like
all this game is going to come out in a short period
of time. Granted, 12 months is not
short by any stretch of the imagination
when it comes to gaming and gaming
development if you know how that process goes but um obviously it was it was in the tuck for a while so
they was trying to play it out like a rollout but they failed uh horrendously and now a lot of these
games are getting delayed so anyways i just want to point out that yeah the vice president
lied to your faces so uh you know the vice president can lie to you i mean hey i mean who can you
believe now that's not just playing so anyways uh starfield is one of those sci-fi RPGs that's coming out
and it's highly anticipated.
I don't know why.
I'm a huge Mass Effect fan.
So any sci-fi RPG, you know, I'm not going to knock because, you know, I'm not just
going to be like, oh, it's just a Mass Effect clone.
Obviously, you can have his own mechanics that set it apart from the rest of the sci-fi
RPGs.
But Starfield seems to be a very, very expensive game that's coming out on Xbox.
And I have a PlayStation.
So I'm not going to be playing that game at all.
I'm not buying a whole console for a game.
The last time I did that, that was for Spider-Man.
And let me tell you, that was money well spent because Spider-Man's on.
my favorite just fictional creations of all time so of course i'm buying a console strictly for that
game so anyways uh yeah i won't be playing starfield but i'm definitely not bashing anybody who
who plans to buy the game or or and i'm not bashing anybody who's gonna wait the um wade it out
to subscribe even further to the game pass because you know teach his own and starfield does seem like
a promising game i think it's also multiplayer if i'm not mistaken
It may not be multiplayer, so don't quote me on that.
I think it's multiplayer.
I mean, it's an RPG.
No, I mean, that doesn't just automatically quantify as a multiplayer.
I think it is multiplayer, though.
If not multiplayer, I think it's co-op.
I mean, that's the same thing.
When I think a multiplayer, I think PVP.
So Starfield, I think, will be co-op, I'm pretty sure.
So it's unclear if the September 6th release date will stick for Starfield.
but they delayed it from November 11th, 2022.
So delaying it from November 11th.
I think that was the first time it was delayed.
And now we're well into 2023 at this point.
And for it to get delayed again to September 6th,
you can probably see where some people will start to be like,
okay, how finished is this game if you're pushing it back that much?
if you don't know how gaming development works
when you push a game back that far
that means like you're working
I feel like it means personally
because I can't
I'm not a game developer
but I personally feel like that means
you're literally reworking
one of the key mechanics of the game
like maybe one of the key mechanics was
buggy
or it just didn't work in a grand scheme of things
that you just have to go in
and rework it from the ground
from the ground up
so when I look at huge delays like this
like November 11th
to 2022 to September 6th, 2023.
It's a pretty big jump, if I do say so, myself, to rework some things.
And yeah, man, hopefully it works out for them.
Obviously, I'm never rooting against Microsoft.
I love the phrase Xbox has no games because it just rolled off the tongue so, like,
graciously, you know what I'm saying?
But nowadays, you know, you can't really say that because Xbox Game Pass has been
proving to be even more than a formidable foe for that.
the PlayStation platform so yeah man click my link to my bio let me know one of my
social medias what do you think about Starfield and the Bethesda sci-fi RPG
supposedly coming out September 6th and do you think it will get delayed once again
