Starting point is 00:00:00 Shepard, promise me you'll tell them to subscribe for ad free content. Now let me take you back to a specific year on planet Earth, which was called 2006. You guys. That specific year, there was a specific music label that wanted to notoriously affect the masses. Shepard. Oh, okay. Well, long story short, safe to say this huge conglomerate had a bunch of K-pop acts, and they dominated. charts to the point where they generated $495 million and these are reports as of 2025 so guess what it's probably more and of course the music label the major conglomerate i'm referring to is jyp
Starting point is 00:00:50 entertainment as of course we're getting into a k-pop group that i've touched on once before as far as as august 9th 2024 when i first covered this group that calls themselves the stray kids with their specific specific track chick-chick boom now also july 26 2025 i also dived into them again as far as their specific album karma which you know of course shout out to all the k-pop connoisseurs of notorious mass effect just no just no i see you i see y'all out there so when it comes to straight kids specifically safe to say as of right now there is this particular track called the little things that's currently the 10th most played music video in the world. Hold on, ladies and gentlemen.
Starting point is 00:01:37 If you go to your local DSPs, guess what? It is currently not available. You guys. See, that's the problem. Now, of course, I don't think there's any type of obstacle that stopping them from releasing in our DSPs. I just believe they wanted the music video to be consumed along with the track. As when it comes to straight kids,
Starting point is 00:01:57 there's definitely no stranger to choreography. and top-tier choreography, might I add, because every single time I talk about K-pop, one of the consistent positives that I give them is the quality of their choreography with every single track. I think as of right now, when it comes to the music industry, K-pop musicians set the bar
Starting point is 00:02:20 when it comes to group choreography. And there's a lot of groups you can point at. You can look at Black Pink. You can look at New York. jeans of course you can look at bt s we're going to get into in a second and as we're getting into right now you can also talk about straight kids so when it comes to best choreography in the music industry i have to say what jyp entertainment is doing what big hit entertainment is doing coming together with these k-pop musicians i'm pretty sure there's a type of structure that they have to
Starting point is 00:02:55 go through to even be able to notoriously affect the masses because every single artist that they produce as immense and innate, I should say, ability on providing top-tier choreography. Now, when it comes to Shrek kids specifically, if you're not familiar with this group, there's eight members. It's a boy group. There's Bang Chan, Lee Now, Changbin, Hugin, Han, Felix, Shugman, I think, I mispronounced it, I think it's Shugman, and I.Di.N. When it comes to Han and I.Di.N specifically, The reason why this Little Things track was released just recently on YouTube is because Han specifically wrote it knowing i.d.n likes his songs. Now of course you probably think of
Starting point is 00:03:44 yourself but that's a crazy way to get inspiration for a particular creative project. Well guess what? You guys. Welcome to the music industry. As you never know where your inspiration is going to come from and of course you never know where that's going to lead to. And as of right now, it led to them having the 10th most consumed music video, or just video, period, in the world. But of course, it's music attached to it. So when it comes to the creation and the track and how it happened, you can thank Han for that as far as it being a birthday gift from member Hahn who wrote it, knowing I dot in likes its songs. And now when you look at the little things, it has a whole other meaning that you probably wasn't aware of. So
Starting point is 00:04:28 looking at the track specifically it released March 8th and of course it's a series of SKZ hyphen records which means that it's a non-album release so we don't know if this is going to be on a future album but as of right now the we do not know if this is a rollout for an album but when it comes to the song the little things i.d.n is a solo vocal so when you come to realize the story of Han writing this as a birthday present knowing that I.D.N. likes when he specifically makes certain adjustments to songs. I think it makes it 10 times more comparable to a BTS
Starting point is 00:05:13 as the chemistry for these specific members in this K-pop group. I think it's why they're notoriously affecting the masses. And of course, with the song being so heartfelt, as far as the relationship between the members, as far as the touching on emotional intimacy, everyday happiness. Because, you know, your boy does this research. It may be in a whole other language, but guess what?
Starting point is 00:05:35 I say it may be in a whole other language, but guess what? Ladies and gentlemen, that's what Googles for. So that's what the song is about. Of course, once again, it's a reflection of I.N's admiration for Hans songwriting. As of right now, would it be one of the most consumed? music videos in the world. I only can assume with the latest DSP release as far as the Do It EP that dropped November 21st, 2025 with Do It, Divine Holiday, Photo Book and Do It, the festival version. So five tracks, 14 minutes and lent. I'm assuming people will come over from the little
Starting point is 00:06:15 things music video only to see that they also have released music in the year of 2025. because of course the year is 2026 and technically they don't have any 2026 releases on DSPs but as far as YouTube they have the little things which is currently one of the most consumed videos period in the world so shout to them for that now of course one of the other things i wanted to touch on is the btys and straight kids comparison as that is how popular straight kids is as far as being the top tier competitor to bt s now of course it's just you know friendly competition in the music industry but when compared to btas straight kids is probably the only board group that's nearing their impact because overall of course bt s beats them out as far as merch album sales etc um but when you look at
Starting point is 00:07:07 straight kids they're the next up as far as the competitive nature as a group because they've also had immense success in the music industry not even talking about how they have how they've accumulated 13.8 billion total of spotify streams and of course this places them among the top fourth generation K-pop acts globally. And of course, they've had 300 plus million monthly Spotify streams. So it's only going up from here. So fast tracking to the top seems like straight kids is going to be around for quite some time. As you look at the economic impact, approximately 27.8 billion tracked lead,
Starting point is 00:07:46 track streams across platforms, meaning that they are one of the most consumed, not only one of the most consumed k-pop groups in the world but also one of the top groups period whatever genre consumed in the music industry so with that being said click my link to you in my bio let me know one of my social medias what do you think about the little things music video by shriek kids currently being the 10th most consumed video in the world and of course at the end of the day if you're a huge k-pop connoisseur who is your favorite artist or group and why
