Hey McCrae has a new track out right now titled It's Okay, I'm Okay, and basically it's one of the first major plays as far as a marketing strategy when it comes to the overall rollout to her potential new album.
Because there's no specific details about the new album.
We're just here waiting to see if it's an actual project can play.
But one thing we're not waiting for is the track, It's Okay, I'm Okay, because it's now out on all DSPs.
and it debuted at number 20.
So it's technically the 20th most played track in the world.
And then with that being said,
I think when it comes to Tate McCray putting out this blend of hip hop,
not hip hop,
putting out this blend of R&B pop and electronic elements,
it's apparent that we point out that the visual elements,
not to be funny,
is very important as far as the music attached to it.
Because not only did she put it
the single but the music video has McCray uh is it McRae tape McRae I don't know why I
messed that like it was La Cray or something yeah anyways my fault so tape McCray in
the music video is basically showcasing why people should be tuned in a little
bit more often into her music videos based on the overall emphasis in the video
now of course the choreography
is one thing, but the overall track, the elements of the subject matter, and then the overall
music video production is set in New York City. So they're going all out as far as the visual
and audio elements, just to put it like that. And as far as the specific sales when it comes
to chart positions, the song technically just came out. So whenever you have, you have a
a certain track performing like this on the charts making this debut in the top 20 well technically
at number 20 but hey it still counts right being that you've released this through rca records which
is a part of Sony music entertainment and wondering where you're going to be when it comes to your
overall project that you're about to put out i think that this is a great step in the right
direction uh in a right direction because now rca records is going to look at this and
hopefully it holds that's another big thing like just because you debut high doesn't mean it'll stay
there but technically you debut so high as far as in the top 20 that even if it slides you will be okay
as far as your major label looking at it and it being like okay let's put a little bit more of the
budget into her new project because we've seen that she can catch something as far as when it comes to
captivating her her fan base so it's okay i'm okay it's definitely a track for uh
uh it is definitely a track that tate should be proud of based off she uh based off her uh wanting
to show her major label that she can definitely uh still put up numbers on the billboard because
top 20 i don't know i don't know if y'all know but um there's a lot of tracks that gets released every
day so to get the top 20 track even if it is a debut as a humongous accomplishment and as far as
the choreography as far as the music video being set in new york as far as the overall song having themes
of relationships and past breakups which is you know the the go-to for every pop hit ever you know so
it has all those elements and then as far as her um i think it was something else yeah i think her
past albums, which people
know her from as far as
her second studio album, think later
and then her singles like greedy
and things of that nature performing well,
people have given her more
of a respectful
reputation that came to the music field.
Because sometimes, not even sometimes,
a lot of times when it comes to music,
when women, artists
are in the field, they
get objectified, right?
So if you don't have
even serviceable
music to back up your videos people are just going to exemplify that objectification to a whole
another level which is definitely not right so let's get that out the way that's definitely not right
but it happens so that's why i pointed out so whenever you have good music along with your music video
doing well as far as accompanying the music then you run into a situation where now a lot more people
are coming back for both instead of just playing your music videos on mute which a current
hip hop artist is going through right now which is making it hard for her to hit the charts but you know
it's okay maybe one day she'll make up with niki or something like that but uh with that being said
that's basically all wanting to get into so click my link to my bio let me know on one of my social
media's what do you think about tape mcrae's latest track it's okay i'm okay and do you think
it's fire or trash
