A showgirl knows to save some of her best tricks for the grand finale.
Dot, dot, dot, dot.
The life of a showgirl.
The crowd is your king edition on summertime sprits.
Pink shimmer vinyl is available to pre-order now exclusively at Target.
Get while supplies last.
I know that ain't who I think.
P.S.
we are nine days away.
I know that ain't who I think it is.
Now ladies and gentlemen,
I was just reading off some promotional material
because the Taylor Swift,
the Taylor Swift, has already put out her album.
But of course, for this specific segment,
we're going to focus him on her rollout.
As if you don't know,
this is objectively speaking Taylor Swift's 12th studio album.
And of course, it already dropped
as far as October 3rd, 2025.
And as a celebration,
there was a lot of different pop-ups
and Target runs in theater parties spanning from New York City to L.A., right?
And then, of course, this is following up on her last album,
the Tortured Poets Department that came out in 2024,
which opened up number one on the Billboard 200,
which is literally an understatement for an artist like Taylor Swift,
moved 8 million album equivalents certified by Luminant,
which if you don't know as the owner of all these different RIAA
certifications like Luminate owns billboard and when I say own they own a good majority of shares
into billboard which is why you know if people want to get technical blah they technically they
don't own them but all right they got majority shares so anyways they have a big hand and to certify
certain numbers so they came out and basically said where everybody was already thinking Taylor Swift
is by far the biggest artist the biggest musician we've seen for
quite some time and the run that she's about to go on with this album the life of a showgirl i will say
at the beginning when i first covered the album as far as her announcing it on her boyfriend's
podcast i was thinking to myself why would she go on her boyfriend's podcast to announce such a
highly sought after album but then it started to make sense because taylor swift is one of those
type of artist where she could do whatever i mean right now analytic dreams video
on spotify to see the video along with the audio right now taylor swift has a certain
promotion where she's talking to herself you know telling her to do certain moves or whatever
to promote life of a showgirl and some type of target ad is what i'm playing right now is this
what you're seeing and when it comes to that everybody's loving it i mean if you look at
the overall comments because the comments are limited but if you look at the overall comments
of taylor swift's marketing rollout it's been immaculate i mean even announcing the album on her
boyfriend's podcast you already know her demographic was in love with that as far as the way that
she went through her boyfriend and just showing love and things that nature and of course as you
can see on her Instagram she had a boyfriend proposed to her when I had it but you know he proposed
to her and then of course that culminating into the release of the life of a showgirl safe to say
that nowadays with Taylor Swift already dominating in music whenever she did start dating her boyfriend and went to his NFL games she raised the overall attendance by like what 14 to 15 percent and then now you're looking at it from a movie perspective and her movie as far as the life of a showgirl is set to make at least 25 to 30 million dollars but then safe to say people are wondering when you get those numbers
from well ladies and gentlemen taylor swift the errors tour back of twenty three was also released
in theaters capturing taylor swift's record setting eras tour and it played in 8500 theaters across
a hundred countries and grows 261 million dollars and of course that's what the next
segment is for we're going to dive more into the box office nature because of course when you
dominate the music industry so much to transition into movies and still have that same amount
of engagement as far as topping the charts is very rare because fans love you for one thing
and then you try to do another and sometimes the fickle fans walk away majority at a time not
times out of 10 if you try to switch it up your fans love what they used to love you for so if you
switch it up and start putting it out movies put it out in other creative ways for
people to pay it's not like a concert a movie is a little different as far as a musician so
and especially like we're not talking about artists who passed away we're talking about an act of
artist who's putting up monumental numbers putting out a documentary about her life while she's still
creating her legacy and people showed up in droves so it's a huge deal she also was certified by
r i double a this month as the first female artist ever to surpass a hundred million album sales when i say
that she's the best, not best.
Because, you know, just because you sell a lot does not mean you make the best product.
And just because you don't sell, does not mean you're making the worst product.
The two don't correlate.
Sometimes they do.
For Taylor Swift, I think she makes pretty high quality music.
But of course, it's objective.
But, well, it's subjective.
But what's not subjective, what is objective is how Taylor Swift, after all these years,
has built one of the greatest music careers that we've ever seen and she's still doing it so with
that being said we're about to get into taylor swift's movie aspirations as she's been running it up
in a whole other venture as far as releasing whole products for theatrical windows so now let's
get into the crest of that right now
