Who would have thought the first black woman to do a song with Taylor Swift would have been attached with so much controversy? Now, I feel like in general, I don't know about that fact, but a lot of people just raving over the fact how this is the first black woman on one of Taylor Swift songs, which I didn't even think of it like that. I feel like the way that Taylor Swift moves, I never thought that she has static with all the black women. entertainers in the world. Like once she did a remix with the Kendrick Lamar titled Bad Blood Red Blood Remix, I just thought she was down with us. But obviously not as everybody is pointing this out and not only are they pointing out this historic fact, because that's kind of crazy how this is the first black woman. I mean, there's Beyonce, there's Rihanna, there's Nikki. Not saying that Ice Spice isn't deserving of it, of course, because I would never go that far. But I'm just saying that it's a very

interesting fact that people keep bringing up. But like I said at the beginning, it came with a lot attached to it as a lot of people said that earlier this year that her boyfriend, let me see if it was a boyfriend. I think it was her boyfriend. Heavily engaged in some demeaning and racist comments, including laughing at and joining in on jokes, mocking, mocking, mocking, spice while appearing as a guest on a podcast interesting like what can he be mocking when it comes to ice spice appearance anyways um the two have not confirmed a relationship but a lot of people have said they've been spotted out together and they said he lee has also photographed a several has been photographed at several of the heiress tour concerts so that's like the taylor swift

concert so basically they're saying that they're like together but they're not like making the public so um the thing i make of this is i don't really think it's like PR um stunt i really do think that making a song with i spice is pretty valuable at this point in time i spice is probably one of the more notable notable uh or more prominent up-and-coming artists i mean you do have glorilla you have the lottoes but at the end of the day when you get that nicky cosine cosine it brings more attention to you than otherwise like compared to Nikki beefing with you in the case of Lotto, and to compare to Nikki not even acknowledging your existence because you did a song with Cardi B and Glorilla, it's kind of like,

let me co-sign this person and now this person ends up with a Taylor Swift feature. I don't think that's a coincidence. I'm not going to say that Ice Spice only got this quote-unquote collab with Taylor Swift because it's a calculated PR move. I believe that a cosine and a music industry is way more powerful and important than actual support from the label like if little wayne comes out and cosigns you of course you can always flop like i'm not saying it's just automatic like you're just going to turn into drake or nicky minage but little wayne did find the talent of drake and nicky minage so you know a cosign is a big deal if a nicky minage they co-sign ice spice the way she did i believe that's why she got this ice spice feature but of course others are saying that

that her quote unquote boyfriend said a lot of racents and demeaning things to ice spice which a lot of people did not take too well and it's the taylor swith didn't even comment on it at all and they're accusing her of profit profiting off of the controversy by putting out this track with ice spice it's a very interesting proposal because i would not put it past taylor's prs p r team to put it this into a package but as far as Taylor Swift herself do I think she has problems with black people I don't know honestly we don't know what goes on behind closed doors but at the end of the day as Taylor Swift's fans will remind you over and over again Taylor Swift is one of the greatest artist ever at grace and Mike so I feel like with that talent comes with a lot of leeway to act in certain ways and it may be confusing what I'm saying right now but hopefully you can put it together

comments on the Adam Freeland show and then he said he can be heard laughing at jokes that hosts made about Ice ethnicity about her being Dominican and Nigerian huh that's interesting

and he also appeared to encourage the co-host when they imitated Chinese and Hawaiian accents and later I mean you never know with that type of stuff because you got to some people are comedians and I don't want to read too much into that if I don't see it I'm not really gonna but as far as

as the other stuff now I'm definitely that's definitely messed up but he also responded because he saw the backlash on the internet and boy the internet is one powerful thing you put out one statement that don't go your way or doesn't go the internet's way they're going to let you know and best believe they're going to make you apologize so healy came back out and apologized adjusting to ice spice directly while performing in new zealand i had no idea that this man was artists but anyways let's keep going so healy said quote i never meant to hurt anybody I'm sorry if I've offended you and like Ice Spice.

I'm sorry. That's not because I'm annoyed that me joking got misconstrued. It's because I don't want Ice Spice to think I'm an expedive. And I didn't say the word because this is a PG podcast. Last time that she was in a controversy like this with an artist blatantly disrespecting her in Aubrey Graham, aka Drake unfollowing her on the gram after flying her out and talking about on her law saying that it's a 10 when it's on mute she just said well at least i'm a 10 and then she also asked about why drake unfollowed or she just said i don't know why but he was cool though like ice spice is probably one of the more mature up-and-coming artists that we've ever seen in hip-hop like the amount of stuff you can say about the biggest rapper in the world flying you out and

I'm following you. The things you could have said, and for Ice Spice to not say it, I think it speaks volume. So I think Ice Spice is probably going to be here for a long haul and her getting a Nicki Minaj feature and a Taylor Swift remix in the same year. Just know Ice Spice is here to stay. And to close this off, her announcement of the remix, Taylor Swift said that she is a massive. And this is a quote. quote massive fan of i spice adding after getting to know her i can confirm she is the one to watch the sweetest person oh no and the ice spice responded saying quote sweetest person ever
