Starting point is 00:00:00 I believe that Taylor Swift's fan base refers to themselves as the Swifties, I believe. Hopefully. Hopefully I don't get killed by that. You know, if I'm wrong, I'm definitely preparing to be bombarded by a lot of different comments saying that I completely messed up their hive name. But that's besides the point because Taylor Swift has just released four new songs from her highly into, no, no, no, in honor of her highly anticipated tour. ERIS tour beginning Oh tomorrow. That's nice. Yeah, so this is a big deal
Starting point is 00:00:37 because this is where I really wanted to focus on because this is just specifically covering the four tracks and then I'm going to get into the specific tracks after the segment. So what I want to get into quickly is Taylor Swift is one of the most prominent artists in the game when it comes to touring. If you don't know, Drake just announced his tour
Starting point is 00:00:55 and he's doing an arena tour. For those that don't know, stadiums are way bigger than arenas. I don't know if it's way bigger, but it's much bigger in capacity. Hopefully it makes sense. So Taylor Swift is doing stadium tours. Now, Bad Bunny is also doing stadium tours. Beyonce is also doing stadium tours.
Starting point is 00:01:19 Now, the artists I just name, they're not regular artists, okay? It's a different level when it comes to artistry and your level of fan base. and the number of fans you have to be able to do a stadium tour. Because an artist may be able to fool you by having a stadium performance at their home town. Like notoriously, 21 Savage could do a stadium in Atlanta. Let's say he went overseas or he went to somewhere where maybe his fan base is not as strong or prominent. He can't do a stadium there. A stadium tour means that you have a lot of fans and a lot of different locations that will come out to see you perform.
Starting point is 00:02:12 Because, of course, all these different artists have a lot of fans or they wouldn't have millions of dollars just from dropping the track. But having fans that would stream your music on DSPs compared to having fans that will buy your tickets, your $1,000 tickets to come see you perform for. for an hour or two and then you go home is completely different. And for Taylor Swift, for Bad Bunny and for Beyonce, they are the cream or the crop when it comes to bringing out fans to watch them perform. So that's the biggest thing I want to point out as I'm going to get into these specific tracks, and we're going to talk about the different meanings of them. And yeah, so the biggest thing you need to know for the Swifties out there,
Starting point is 00:02:55 hopefully I said your name or y'all have name, right? If I didn't, then I sincerely apologize. But anyways, safe and sound, eyes open. If this was a movie, all of the girls you loved before are the four tracks that she just released. So in case you didn't get that, let me repeat it for you. Eyes open. And of course, this is Taylor's version, not the ones that was previously put out. So eyes open Taylor's version was one.
Starting point is 00:03:22 Safe and Sound is two. If this was a movie, Taylor's version is three. all of the girls you loved before is four. So yeah, click my link to your my bio. Let me know on one of my social medias. Have you listened to any of these four recently released tracks? And then if you have, which one is your favorite?
Starting point is 00:03:47 And also, I do have another question. Are any of y'all planning on buying those expensive tickets to go see Taylor Swift live? Thank you.
