transforming into the black grace randolph herself shout out to her but for this particular segment
you're all stuck with me to break down the movie box office as i'm no movie or tv show connoisseur
but what i do know is that taylor swift grows not only 33 million in north america but
also 46 million globally over three days the largest theatrical album launch ever
And in my previous segment, because I tied these two together, I was talking about how Taylor Swift already, with three days of tracking, mind you, four more to go, but after three days of tracking has already accumulated 3.5 million units.
And guess what?
That's already the biggest first week sales for any album in U.S. history.
So Taylor Swift is dropping bombs all over the place.
So when it comes to specifically the box office, that's the main thing I wanted to let you know is that that's, that's.
the most surprising thing to me because of course when it first came to her outing as far as a theatrical
release she had the torture poets department and that was already a success in his own um was it the torture
poet department was it actually i think it was a documentary for taylor swift but let me see taylor
swift torture poets department i think it was the errs tour i think that's what it was called
I don't feel like looking at it right now.
But I think it's actually the ERIS tour, which encapsulated her progress in her overall career journey throughout her albums.
That came to theaters and guess what?
It broke all type of theatrical records and things of that nature.
So now for Taylor Swift to come back and put out yet another project for theaters, titled the official release party of a showgirl, which debuted August 3rd, of course, along with the album.
safe to say that it accumulated so much money that at this point somebody has to get
Taylor Swift some type of movie deal because she's improved time and time again now not only
will people show up to DSPs and purchase physical copies vinyl CDs things of that nature but they
will also show up to theaters to support Taylor Swift's offering which I believe any studio will be
clamoring for it as far as a superstar that they can mold that already has their fan base so
when it comes to taylor swift there's a lot of things that she's just doing that's leaps and bounds
ahead of a competition and before you say this is a glaze athon just no just know i did the same thing
for k-pop demon hunters and you see where that's it still the most played project you know before
taylor takes over number one but k-pop demon hunters and morgan walling have been taken over the number one and
number two spot as far as the albums respectively throughout this whole year since k-pop demon hunters
released because morgan walla came out first and then of course on the single side golden by k-pop demon
hunters soda pop by k-pop demon hunters and your idol by k-pop demon hunters are still in the top five
and it's been on the charts for at least 13 weeks so when i put these things in perspective is because
of course me covering the art
artists that notoriously affect the masses.
K-pop Demon Hunters and Taylor Swift's names are going to be and going to keep being brought up because of course that's what that's mainly what I do as far as covering the music industry, letting you know who is notoriously affecting the masses, which is why as you can see right here.
The notorious mass effect banner has some of the biggest musicians in the world. Now, of course, I cover hip hop majority of the time. So I'm a little biased as far as
more hip-hop artists on the banner. But when it comes to Bad Bunny, Taylor Swift, those type of
artists that's outside of the norm of hip-hop, they are doing some things in the music industry
that we haven't seen for quite some time. Really, some of the biggest superstars are coming
outside of the genre of hip-hop. So the pivot that I made, and especially the people who was
enjoying not only the Taylor Swift covers, but the K-pop demon hunters, don't even let me,
don't even get me started about people supporting the Lady Gaga.
coverage. I mean, at this point, covering the entire music industry has not only helped out the
brand, but overall has enlightened me as far as the different genres who are very influential,
very influential on other genres that you probably only listen to. And you never know that they're
influenced by the genre that I be covering unless you step out of your comfort zone and
expand your palate. So anyways, the main reason why I say that is to
blaze taylor swift once again she's going crazy as far as numbers now to be fair as far as reviews
for this specific album it doesn't seem like the swifties or the general public are saying this is
one of her best albums actually the kind of saying the opposite but for me i actually enjoyed the album
and i know you probably think it to yourself man this is the perfect demographic to review
taylor swip's album i mean you just look at me and you probably just think that's what a taylor
Swift fan looks like.
You guys.
See, that's the problem.
Anyways, if you said anything else, you're racist.
Anyway, but that being said,
The Life of a Showgirl by Taylor Swift,
my favorite tracks offered this album is by far,
Honey.
I really like Honey.
I like the overall,
I like the overall beat of Honey.
And then, of course, as far as the songwriting perspective,
Elizabeth Taylor is me
noticing how Taylor Swift actually showcase how big she is in this industry.
Because, you know, in the interviews and things that,
nation, she really comes across as an ordinary human.
But she is not.
So Elizabeth Taylor is definitely a great reminder to whoever, you know, decides to
slight her.
I'm not saying this towards Travis Kelsey.
I'm just saying Elizabeth Taylor is one of my favorite songs off of this album
because it's Taylor Swift embracing who she actually is as far as one of the biggest
entertainers to ever, Grace and Mike.
and she's basically letting you know that
and in a very sly way in
Elizabeth Taylor and also I like to be on that
album on that track as well
but I like a lot of other tracks like as far
as what stands out to me
I think Wood
stands out to me pause you guys
life of a show girl
I like Sabrina Carpenter's addition to it
and of course opalite I believe
it's one of my standouts as well
but there's only 12 tracks on it's
41 minutes of length and she has been putting out a lot of
albums, you know, aside from the re-releases. So I can see a lot of people getting Taylor Swift
fatigue, which happens with any overexposed brand, right? So with that being said, that's the main
thing I want to get into just her theatrical accomplishments, also her single accomplishments,
and of course how the biggest thing I want you to get out of this is Taylor Swift is about to
break the record for the biggest first week album sales in U.S. history. And that being said,
click my link to you in my bio. Let me know one of my social medias. What do you think
about Taylor Swift, just breaking all type of records with her latest album, The Life of a Showgirl.
If you've listened to The Life of a Showgirl, what is your favorite track off of the album?
