June 27th, 2025, and then the complete addition,
where I've tried everything, but therapy will be yours.
As when it comes to the rollout, it's been a phenomenal rollout for Teddy Swims.
And of course, with his part one of I've tried everything, but therapy being,
well, currently being the 35th most play album in the world,
some would say that people are clamoring and the anticipation is through the roof.
because when it comes to his discography and the singles that he's been given us,
especially for this rendition of I've tried everything about therapy,
I've said before on this podcast because I've covered this man multiple times.
I've said before that this man has tried everything by making trash music
because the music that this man puts out is super high quality.
And of course, you can see the talent on display,
especially when he gets into his harmony bag
with either Mooney Long or Coco Jones
or of course the one that's my favorite
give you on with the track Are You Even Real?
Which to this day is still one of my favorite tracks of 2025.
Anyways, Teddy Swims is back again
with a new track titled All Gas No Brakes
And guess who is featuring?
Big X the plug.
Now, of course, I can't seem to get away from Big X to Plug.
I've already said multiple times on this podcast.
I'm not covering this album because the title is beyond disrespectful.
Now, I know people may be saying this because you're a Drake fan.
What I got to say is Drake is the goat.
Of course, I'm a fan of Drake.
But you know, at the end of the day, you know, people say I'm a Drake Stan,
which is a little different from fan.
But you know, at the end of the day, he is the goat.
So with that being said, whenever you're in a sport.
And something is just critically acclaimed to the point where to define a classic,
bottom masses. I believe if you're in that same sport, I'm not talking about in a aquatic swimmer
wearing Michael Jordan's 23 jersey. I'm not talking about Tom Brady coming out in a Tiger Woods
green jacket. I'm talking about if you're in the same sport and there's certain things that's
dignified of classic and have been retired in history as far as hip hop. Tidling or wearing something
that's going.
That's the exact same thing as that
is very disrespectful in my opinion.
It's almost like if somebody went on the bulls
and it was like, you know what?
I feel like wearing 23
today. Like, hold on.
Ain't no way.
Ain't no way that that man just said
what I think he just said.
That's the same exact thing.
I thought whenever I saw a big X to plug,
title, his album,
Take Care.
So to be fair, to go off of that point, right?
Because that's why I haven't covered Big X the plug in depth as I would have
if he didn't title his album the way he did as a rapper in the game of hip-hop.
So anyways, Big X the plug, I will say,
does deserve MVP as far as the newcomers in the game.
Because if you look at it, there's not a lot of hip-hop artists on the charts
and they're not in sticking to it not just making the charts but there's not a lot of hip hop
artists sticking to the charts at all there's drake there's kendrick and then that's basically it
i mean maybe we could count shabuzzi of course you have played with cardi but um big x the plug
is right there as far as the representation of hip hop on the charts as far as comparing
consumption amongst the goats and music so with that
being said you know how the NBA has a rising stars game i think big x the plug should definitely
be captain of that for hip-hop but maybe even more as far as the MVP type of nod or nomination
for the year of 2025 because besides drake and kendrick putting up numbers that's uh but putting up
track that have stuck with the test of time in 2025 big x the plug and to be fair play with cardi also as far
the newcomers have been well playbook card he's not more of a he's not a newcomer but play with
cardy and big ex the plug also have been helping out the overall status of hip hop in the game because
it's definitely looking spooky for the year of 25 because we're halfway into the year and i can
already see what's happening to a lot of these hip hop musicians i mean might as well start picking up
the microphones you know what i mean it's and start making your own podcast because at the end of the
day when it comes to making music not a lot of people listen to it but you know it's just be it just be like
that. So anyways,
the reason why I talked about that is because Teddy Swims has been featuring Big Exa Plug.
See what happens when you country artists feature a hip-hop artist.
And I got to dive into their background because you know, I got good done to proper respect.
Anyways, let's get back into Teddy Swims.
Anyways, this album is coming out, what I say, June 27th.
So I've tried everything, but therapy, the complete edition is coming out June 27, 2025.
and I do believe
Teddy Swims may end up having
the best album of 2025
when it comes to the type of music that he makes
because everybody knows that he makes more R&B soul
but also there's country and pop implemented
so he's always going to get that certain privilege
that other artists don't acquire
because of certain things in society.
So Teddy Swims actually being talented
not just fabricated like some other people.
I believe that his album could end up being the best album of the year.
Don't know what category they'll put him in.
That's always the tricks and politics behind the scenes.
I don't know what they're going to put them in country.
R&B, I know they just made a new category in the Grammys or at the Grammys
talking about traditional country.
I'm like, well, in the world, you might as well just call that the DEI Country Award.
I mean, what in the world is the Grammys doing?
one of my most viral social media posts
is talking about how Grammy does things over there
because, you know, somebody got to point it out
and at the end of the day, Grammys just between hip hop
and all the type of black culture, like,
it's just scum under their shoe.
Like, we'll get to it when we get to it
as far as acknowledging y'all greats.
Anyways, the reason why I say that is
because we don't know what Teddy Swims is going to be put on there.
Maybe he would get the DEI country award.
Maybe they will deem him not country enough
to get the real country award,
as he does make R&B soul type music,
but he does have country uh country elements so but that being said all gas no breaks that's what i wanted
get into um the track is fire i really like it i really haven't heard a bad track from teddy swim not
not even just a not even a bad track i haven't heard a solid track or a really good track all of the tracks
that teddy swims have been putting out have been straight fired like just straight and captivating from
the bridge the chorus the verses the features that he's having from mooney long uh coco jump
Jones, give you on, like he's really in tune with the musical creation process for this body of work.
So as far as I've tried everything about therapy, this is probably going to go down as one of his greatest runs in his career.
Because right now, that's all the albums that he's put out.
I mean, back from 2023 up until now 2025, the I've tried everything but therapy is going to be officially completed June 27th of this year.
So with that being said, click my link to you in my bio.
Let me know on one of my social media is.
What do you think about Teddy Swims?
What do you think about his overall place in hip hop or R&B or country?
And at the end of the day, do you think I should finally give a deep dive into Big X the plug album titled, Take Care?
