Starting point is 00:00:03 Teddy Swims is back again with the new track titled Funeral that just came out, of course, and that will ultimately be a booster and will be a boost to the tracks that's already phenomenal as far as impacting the masses. Which tracks am I talking about? Of course, lose control by Teddy Swims, which is the ninth most played track in the world. and it's been on the charts for about 47 weeks. I mean, goodness. This track peaked at number one, been on the charts for 47 weeks, and hasn't even slid out of the top 10.
Starting point is 00:00:49 Think about that. 47 weeks of pure dominance for one particular track. So anyway, let me get off of that. So also, he has another track, which is titled The Door. That's been on the charts for about five weeks, and that's the 81st most played track in the world. it peaked at number uh it peaked at 76 so as far as funeral i would assume this track is going to do phenomenal on the charts it's going to have a splendid time trying to climb the ranks of billboard as the song states in the title it's about love loss and longing and it's a lot of
Starting point is 00:01:33 soulful voice with heartfelt lyrics. And one of the biggest things about Teddy Swims is that he's praised for his emotional death and vocal delivery. Because if you know how to sing and if you perform at venues like Christchurch Town Hall, I think a lot of people will be more intrigued by you simply for your fact to resonate deeply with your listeners due to the relatable themes in the powerful execution that you have. So it doesn't surprise me that this type of analytical excellence is coming from an artist that's willing to deep, to dive that deep into his emotional, I'm not going to call it trauma,
Starting point is 00:02:34 but just emotional experiences. and actually have it be relatable while also giving a powerful vocal performance. Reminds me of a little bit of Rod Wave as far as the emotional levels that you go through. But the thing that Rod Wave ran into, which if you haven't heard about Rod Wave, it's a reason for that. It's definitely a reason for that, man. It has a lot of stuff to work out. but I mean that basically is what I'm about to go into so with that you know
Starting point is 00:03:12 previously he was probably going through that and just was putting it on records so now I would suggest that the overall content that you give doesn't take over your personal life if that makes sense there's always a fine balance between helping people through making music that they can relate to to and helping out with your own mental health. Because sometimes when you're an artist, you look out for what's in the best interest of maybe the label that you're under. Because if you don't know, Teddy Swims has his own label titled Swims,
Starting point is 00:03:55 but it's under exclusive license to Warner Records, which is a major label. So with that being said, they expect some type of return on investment. So don't let them force you into, keep making certain songs that results in negative um basically the in a what's the word the deterioration of your mental health don't let them push you to the fact where your mental health deteriorates that's what i'm trying to say so make sure to find that balance but as always seems like people are gravitating towards it i mean come on now you have the 30 30
Starting point is 00:04:39 most played album in the world with i've i've tried everything but therapy part one and then you have the ninth most played track in the world which you've been on the charts it's the it's the most weeks as far as concurrent in the top 10 all the other tracks what's the highest one let me see the highest one is beautiful things and that's been on the charts for 24 so think about it this is a bona fide hit and lose control being on the charts for this long which is 47 weeks so you have the ninth most played track in the world you've been on the charts about 47 weeks and then 81st most played track in the world with the door which been on the charts for about five weeks don't let the label tell you that you have to keep making certain emotional tracks simply for
Starting point is 00:05:34 their recoup on investment because best believe me my brother lose control yourself could feed generations as far as the amount of success that that's had. So, yeah, man, that's the advice I have. But overall, you know, people really do relate to his deep emotion through his music. But I always want to give that advice because I've just seen it with Juice World. I've seen it with Rod Wave. Yeah. So with that being said, a great way to end on a positive note.
Starting point is 00:06:10 So yeah, click my link tree and my bio. Let me know one of my social media is. What do you think about the newest track funeral by Teddy Swims? Overall, what is your thoughts on what I had to say about Teddy Swim's situation?
