Time to get into the musician that has tried everything but making bad music.
Because today, ladies and gentlemen, we're getting into the one and only Teddy Swims,
who has currently one of my favorite tracks of the year.
Obviously, the track or the year has just started, but nonetheless, it's one of my favorite tracks.
that's released in 2025.
So the track, Are You Even Real, featuring Givion,
it is immensely what you do
when you have a lot of talented musicians
in the same studio.
That track, as far as how they played off each other,
is fantastic.
Now, of course, for today's segment,
we're getting into the track, Guilty.
As with Part 2 coming out in full,
right, as you can see with his Instagram right here,
he's basically talking about how my new album
I'm trying to see if I can find.
Okay.
My new album, I've tried everything but therapy part two is out now.
I love you.
I love you.
And I love you with a heart emoji.
So obviously he's letting his fans know.
Hey, guess what?
I'm putting out this part two.
Make sure to go stream it.
And I appreciate you for doing it.
And one of the biggest standouts as far as play listing is the track guilty from part two of
I've tried everything but therapy.
Now, when you come to Teddy Swims, you come to realize that
this man is forever running the charts.
I mean, lose control is probably one of the more successful tracks in the past two years,
counting this year.
So technically like a year in a month.
You get what I'm saying.
So lose control is the ninth most played track in the world.
And it's been on the charts for about 74 weeks, right?
And then you come to, are you even real with Givion that just released,
but it's already the 59th most played track currently.
And then that's been, well, it just came out.
on the charts for one week and then of course bad dreams one of the other successful tracks off of
part one of i've tried everything but therapy that is the 64th most played track in the world
and it's been on the charts for seven weeks so when it comes to teddy swims known for his blend
of pop country and rmb there's a lot of things that comes with the creation of his music and let me just
say a lack of quality is not one of them this artist is amazing listening to
to his album part one
getting you know anticipating part two
of course because after the track would give you
on are you even real I came to realize
that he has a real infatuation with R&B
and not only R&B but hip hop
he has a glorilla on here
he has Mooney Long
on here like it's very interesting the way
that Teddy Swims goes about his
collaborative efforts because you don't
see this too often especially for the way
that Teddy Swim looks
you would think that he would not collaborate
with a lot of hip hop musicians which is
the crossover effect is very pivotal to branching out and broadening people's perspective.
Because if you don't know, usually if you're in certain fields, right, you collaborate with
the people who are in that field.
So now with you making a pop and country, you're definitely taking a gamble and stepping out
of your comfort zone as far as your genre and collaborating with hip hop musicians or if it
was a k-pop musician or if it was the latin uh mexican music um latin music um industry right as far as
you being pop and country is always rolling the dice whenever you're collaborating outside of your
genre but he's ended up being able to blend all type of genres to the point where now he's a
he's a bona fide superstar i mean i don't know any other track that's been in the top 10 for
74 weeks i mean the lowest has been i think is right now with it being the ninth most played
track in the world and currently oh no and it peaked at number one of course and it's been on
a chart for 74 weeks i see if there's another track it may be the longest track on the charts currently
as far as the entire billboard hot 100 yeah so right now is the most of the most of the most
it has the most longevity amongst any other track because the second closest
would be a bar song by Shabuzzi with a 40 weeks on the charts now obviously a bar
song beat out the record for the most number ones consecutively in the history of
a billboard so that was pretty significant but obviously was released after
lose control which is why loose control still has a lot more weeks on the charts
in a bar song.
So anyways,
when it comes to Teddy Swims,
I would definitely listen to the album.
I've tried everything but therapy part two
because I think what you were here
were very much surprised you because of his pop soul type of approach,
but also having like traditional
and more like contemporary type of styles
because it's definitely a genre-fusing,
a genre-fusion type of,
creation that he came up with. So it's a very interesting listen and is a high quality level
listen. So with that, I mean, that's just the amount of praise. That's just what I could give
Teddy Swims as far as his flowers of being an artist is pushing the genre into interesting lanes
as far as the collaboration choices and as far as the way that he chooses his beats and he chooses
to attack those beats. So if you don't know, I mean, early in his career, he played for various
Atlanta bands as far as alternative rock and post-hardcore. So he knows a lot of different genres
and it just seems like he's just an overall fan of musical creation. And obviously with I've
tried everything but putting out bad music, which is my title for him because the quality
level for him is at a top tier level and it's been that way for quite some time. So I would,
so click my link to you in my bio and let me know one of my social media is. What do you think about
I've tried everything but therapy part two? And what?
What is your favorite track off of?
Part 2 of I've tried Everything But Therapy out now on DSPs.
