When it comes to the discussion of who is the biggest Afrobeat musician, right?
As far as the Afro beats genre, who is the biggest?
Honestly, the recency bias of people saying Burnaboy is okay because, of course, if you're an average listener, then you just listen to music for fun and things of that nature.
But when you start to go into the history of Afro beats, you realize.
that WizKid is one of those that's had so much impact in the whole Afrobeat genre that he inherently
has to be called the biggest simply for the people that he helped create and I'm not saying
Tim's is one of them but WizKid did give Tim's her first certified song and her first entry on
the billboard charts now of course Tim's when
on to showcase her talent even after that handout so it's one of those to where not saying she's
not talented just showcasing where i stand as far as my opinion on who's the biggest afro beast
artist as tims did go on to make songs like hire which literally future just took it to put for his
track uh wait for you and you know simply talking about that track right because you know people love to go
at Drake but not give him any credit for behind the scene stuff that he helps uh execute basically
the track higher from tims was already successful future wanted to use higher for wait for you guess what
tims was like why would i give you my track it's already successful guess who had to come in the mix to
clear that tim's sample which was already a current song and popular to be on the track wait for you it was the
third person on the track i'll let you i'll figure out who that is but you know that's why i call them
the goat you know what i mean i'll call them the goat for no reason but anyways getting back to
tim's specifically in her announcement basically new debut album born in the wild coming out
soon it's already out no may 2024 why they say yeah that was definitely not oh okay it's talked
about uh her performance okay so april 15th she announced it
at a Coachella performance, basically saying her debut album, Born in the Wild, will release May
2024. And when I tell you, I can't wait, I definitely can't wait. I don't know what it is about
women and the ability to sing, but I consistently say that they are superior when it comes to that
specific way of making music. As far as singing, it's one of the things that,
you know, men, they do their best, but as far as women, I feel like they just hit certain notes
that obviously men are just not as good at or not great at, you know? So as far as singing,
I think it's all about having that versatility and that vocal inflection and your cadence to be
able to carry certain melodies that I think women just do a phenomenal job at. And of course,
men do too but women just do it better i ain't going to lie so anyways um tim's previously released
two solo single uh singles which is me and you and not an angel and basically she received
a breakthrough award at the billboard women and music so she received the breakthrough award at
billboard women and music and then this is our first album since 2018 and includes tracks like
damages and collaborations with whiz kid and future of course the exact release day hasn't been
announced just yet but of course if it's may 2024 then we could probably assume that is coming soon
So for that being said, or with that being said, click my link tree in my bio.
Let me know one of my social medias.
