Now I'm not one to compare black people to animals because of the long-standing ways of it being used to dehumanize black people.
But why in the world is the internet out here comparing Tim's to Nala from the Lion King?
Like the last time I checked, Tim's is out here uplifting your favorite musicians on the charts.
Even mine, so you know I have to be completely honest because wait for you was,
literally a sample rip from a successful track in that same year and higher by Tim's future
rip that he made wait for you and now magically is number one on the charts so when it comes
to that you know there needs to be a little bit more respect put on Tim's name and of course if
you go over to the analytic dreams video version on Spotify you will see that I've had the
comparison up this entire time I've been
breaking this down right because I'm not going to say what I want to say but let's
just say the internet would do it to you wouldn't they like they just don't care about
feelings and you know just just forget the year the decades of history when it
comes to comparing black people and animals let's just keep doing it right yeah the
internet something else I swear anyways let me take that off so anyways the
biggest thing I wanted to get into was basically
Tim's is putting out a new album, which I'm highly anticipating, which y'all think I'm, y'all may think I'm joking, which also, what we're going to get into that.
But my palette as far as listening to music is definitely changed over time.
And I would think that has something to do with the podcast simply for the fact that I'm more attentive.
Is that the word?
I don't know.
Towards people who impact the charts heavily.
because I believe that there's a certain sound that people gravitate towards which you know makes it intriguing to the masses like as far as the BPM the high hats the keys that people use I think it's very scientific the way they break it down to get it on the charts obviously you know if you're on a major label that cuts out like 50% of you failing right but the other 50% is basically talent production things that
nature and let me tell you tim's when it comes to afro beats whiz kid when it comes to afro beats
burner boy they've been putting on for the genre in a way that i don't think people honestly
realize the impact that has had over the entire genre to bring up my favorite musician once
again whiz kid literally gave drake one of his biggest track uh yeah one of his biggest tracks of all
time in one dance let me make sure they got fact check because
You know, I want the Drake hive coming after me.
You know, I usually when I listen to Drake is off the top.
So, you know, I'm able to bring up Drake tracks.
Oh, here it is.
Yeah, literally his most successful track of all time.
Like literally, the most successful track of all time has a Wiz kid on it in one dance.
So when I'm talking about Afro beats, I'm talking about people who really influenced the quality level of music in a, in a, in a,
global scale and that's not it right Justin Bieber of course he collaborated with
Tim's for the track essence I think it's one of those things to where people
recognize the talent level that these Afrobeat artists possess and then they
use that to have success on the charts which that's been happening for the
beginning of time you know how I brought a brought up
up the fact that the dehumanization of black people has been around for decades you know
what else has been around for decades if not more colonization and this is just a music version
of that seeing something working taking it for yourself and hey now somehow magically you're
now successful you know what I'm saying so with Tim's in this new track because I don't even
think I've talked about it yet yeah so the new track is titled love me it says J EJ
je i don't know how to pronounce that give me one second i'm i'm gonna find out how to pronounce this
because i definitely don't want to mispronounce it because we can't be talking about it and then
mess up the name okay so i think it's pronounced jjahy i don't know if i messed that up
love me jjee i mean it's only two jays but the way they pronounced it i listened to the
pronunciation like the the i i robot voice you know pronounced it back to me but
Hey, if I still mess it up, now messed it up, right?
So anyways, the song was first performed at Coachella
and pays tribute to Say-Ye.
I don't know what that is.
Sada Moose's 1997 song of the same title.
So it's like a little tribute that Tim's is doing with this track, Love Me.
Obviously, the Coachella portion already brought up with Justin Bieber coming on to perform
essence along with Wiz Kid.
I mean, why y'all think that track was a smash?
I mean, like WizKid and Tim's very much a cheat code.
You might as well have Drake and Taylor Swift collabing for a track, right?
So anyways, um,
obviously her fans love the performance of the Love Me JJ He track.
And also, Tim's is rolling out her, what's the word?
No, that basically she's rolling out the marketing campaign for her album.
born in the wild and obviously her fans are very much in high anticipation of this body of work
because let me tell you this is tim's debut album and it's going to be more of a soulful blend of
melodies and aphrabeat rhythm which i mean you could come to expect with an artist like tim's but
the reason why i'm putting so much credence on tims which they say it's her debut i always have to look
that up because those are major label games if you don't you don't you don't
don't know. Somebody will say it was the debut album is the second album, but really is not. It's her
first album from a major label. But she has the album out back in September 25th, 2020,
titled for Broken Ears. And yeah, that was basically, I don't even know who that. Who's, who's,
let me see, who is leading vibe? Yeah, basically she was, uh, independent. So, uh, what else?
And obviously she was, uh, active again in 2022.
being on the Black Panther Wakanda soundtrack along with Rihanna, which that was under UMG.
And then guess what this latest track is under? RCA Records slash since 93.
So now that she's under a major label, expect her to definitely put up her biggest sales as a solo
musician when this next album comes out.
Obviously, it's not all about sales.
That's why I started off the segment, you know, hinting at the quality level, impacting the sales,
because people are taking their style,
the flavor and implementing it into their own music.
But it should be noted that Tim's really WizKid,
when I say Tim's WizKid times 10,
because he's been around longer,
as far as putting it into a way
that everybody gravitates towards.
And now everybody wants to take your sauce
and put it into their own dish
that they're serving to the masses.
Because Tim started, I think around,
2018, WISKid's been doing that since like 2012.
So that's why I said like that.
But anyways, what else?
I think that's basically it, man.
Yeah, man, stop comparing black people to animals.
It's not nice.
You know what I'm saying?
It's one of those things where I know y'all trying to give her a compliment.
But at the end of the day, you know what I mean?
Those type of stuff.
I mean, you might as well just say the N word.
You know what I'm saying?
Like at this point, they was both used in the same light to dehumanize black people.
But I don't want to get on my soapbox.
y'all know what y'all know what y'all got to stay away from that so anyways um what else
yeah man it's basically it so all my tims fans you know hopefully y'all enjoying this single
and hopefully y'all enjoy the album when it eventually comes out i don't know when this album's going to
come out it says may 2024 but obviously it's not a specific release date so they can either push you back
Because if you say a month, that means that, well, to me, that means you're still working on the album.
And it may get pushed back and may not.
So until we get a specific date, then I'm not, you know, putting too much credence on May 24.
But only the future would tell, right?
So anyways, click my link tree in my bio.
Let me know one of my social medias.
What do you think about Tim's and her new single, Love Me, Jeehe, for her upcoming album Born in the Wild?
Thank you.
