Starting point is 00:00:00 So the Marias, which is a band based off of the psychedelic soul love child of Puerto Rican, Brad, Atlanta, raised, Maria Zardoa, and Los Angeles native Josh Conway, which is joined by the guitarist Jesse Pearlman and Edward James on the Keys. Now, of course, that's what the bio says. But specifically for me, of course, when it comes to the next, mass effect. I love to talk about the certain artists who impact the masses on a global scale. Because if you don't know, they just put out, as far as the band, the Maria's, they just put out an album titled Submarine. And when I say just put out, obviously, they put it out May 31st, 2024. So it was a while ago.
Starting point is 00:00:55 But the reason why we're talking about them today is for the simple fact that no one noticed is still, to this day, the most successful track off of that project. as that track, the extended version, was released November 15th, 2024. Now, the original No One Notice came out May 31st, 2024. So when you put out an extended edition so far after not only the song has been out, but the entire project has been out, then you come to realize that it's probably the most impactful track of 2024 for this specific band, as is still the 68th most played track in the world and it's been on the charts for about seven weeks as far as the top 100 in billboard is considered so it peaked at 68 it slid all the way down to 84 but now it's back again and of course
Starting point is 00:01:46 people are probably wondering how after so many months is this track still popular with the respective fan base well i think one of the biggest reasons for this track having so much successes for the simple fact that it has an English and Spanish version. Talk about being bilingual, right? And it's produced by Josh Conway in, I don't even know how to say that. It's a Gianluca bucselati, bucselati, Gian, yeah, hold up. I don't know where I don't know. One second.
Starting point is 00:02:25 John Luca Buxillati. Ah, okay. Y'all heard that pronunciation, right? John Luca Buxillati. vocals by Maria Zard Doa of course. So basically what I was wanting to get into is obviously the track no one noticed because even though it's part of the sophomore album Submarine, it's obviously to stand out as the English and Spanish versions are doing well on the charts.
Starting point is 00:02:55 And even though this is the Maria's sophomore album, which released May 31st, 2020. 24, it still showcases how they're extending their lifespan as far as the entire project through this one track. No one noticed as with 812,000 streams on Spotify and US. And then of course it debuting when it first came out on the US Spotify charts as far as at 30. And the original, as far as the combined streams, put it in the top 10 as far as US Spotify charts. So what is the reason for this? I mean, obviously social media, a lot of word and mouth.
Starting point is 00:03:37 But of course, once again, like I always keep telling, especially independent artists, which the marias are not independent. I mean, they're under Atlantic, more specifically, a nice life recording company and Atlantic Recording Corporation. So basically, TikTok, once again, is one of the lifelines for the longevity for having success on the charts. And time and time again, you come to realize that TikTok has been so impactful for people's marketing strategy to the point where if you release something in May and it's still going strong as far as the specific track in November to the point where now you're putting out extended versions of the track, which they have about three. Okay, so they have the extended English version and the extended Spanish version.
Starting point is 00:04:24 So now with that being considered, you kind of realize that even though they blew up on TikTok as far as the. organic marketing strategies for this project and track. They also have a strong presence on YouTube. And then of course with the whole band having a lot of indie pop, guitars, keyboards, and synthesizers, you realize that there's a lot of introspective lyrics amongst their project if you listen to it. You know, I definitely encourage you to give it a listen
Starting point is 00:04:58 because in this digital age, you love to see people still putting forth the effort when it's so easy to just get keyboards and guitars from just plugins right so if you have an actual band playing the actual instrument while you're recording then safe to say you're gonna give you a higher percentage out as a for standing out for the simple fact that most people are just using digital keyboards and guitars nowadays which is nothing wrong with that if it works for you but of course for the Marias being a band going on tour as even on their IG they basically put up the coachella that's happening April 11th through April 20th yeah so April 11th and 18th in
Starting point is 00:05:50 April 13th and 20th I don't know if that's like through the whole event I don't know how Coachella works I ain't gonna lie to you but anyways the marias will be there as they post the actual poster for the performance i don't know what the name is because i don't know why artists do this just putting out the poster and not highlighting your name if it's your specific account i don't understand the reasoning and i'm not reading through all these names to find the marias all i know is they will be at the cochella cochellas if you want to read it for yourself of course analytic dreams video on spot to see the video along with the audio because of course they showcase the entire Coachella poster seemingly referring to themselves performing.
Starting point is 00:06:33 So you want to find your name. If you want to find their name in the midst of like the million names on that poster to have at it, right? But anyways, that's the main thing I wanted to get into. Nothing too crazy as far as the marias are considered. Just wanted to highlight the band still making a notorious Mass Effect, of course, you know, pun intended, right? And then with the no one noticed track being the 68th most played.
Starting point is 00:06:58 track in the world currently so with that being said click my link to my bio let me know one of my social media is what do you think about the band the marias and also have you heard their album their sophomore album submarine and if you haven't will you be willing to give it a listen
