What's going on, internet, analytic here, aka Dreams, and I'd like to welcome you to mine,
which are called the notorious mass effect podcast.
I'm your hip-hop and gaming news source with a little bit of R&B mixed in.
Of course, before we get into episode 135, got to give you a little update.
And as far as update, I mean, of course, everybody is going through it right now when it comes to Uncle Sam.
Now, if you live in the United States, there's this figure in America that comes around once a year.
And let's just say he ultimately wins.
He wins the battle on getting a percentage of your fetichini.
Now, if you don't know what fetichini is, it's basically their broccoli.
that Alfredo we're talking about the US dollar.
Yes, ladies and gentlemen, tax season is upon us.
And if you haven't paid your taxes, well, let's just say you may or may not be a free civilian going into the future.
Because at some point, Uncle Sam will come knocking and you will be forced to answer or else.
so that's the update for me you know i paid a whopping two dollars hey i thought you i was gonna get
the actual amount now actually that is the actual amount you know i'm broke honestly two dollars i
paid out um you know it was really it was a struggle to save up them two dollars i've been doing it
all year you know what i'm saying that's like what eight quarters i'm saying um yeah i had to save up
like one quarter um at a time because it was it was tough so yeah it was a whopping two dollars
how to pay and taxes just really stressful honestly i don't even know how i managed to get through
uh the year with with that uh lingering above me because you always know it's going to come at some
point so that's basically the update and on a serious note of course analytic dreams notorious
mass effect is doing well as always i like the support well i love the support from my podcast
youtube uh twitter ticot things of that nature uh just know we always work
working well behind the scenes and we have a lot of things coming because certain deals take a
certain amount of time to get finalized so let's just say we're going through that process right now
so that being said none of this would be possible without without y'all support so let's get into
episode 135 which i am titling Kanye west versus cancel culture of course we're going to get into
a lot of hip-hop and gaming topics.
But one of the biggest things I wanted to touch on pause as far as this episode is Mr.
Kanye West.
Oh, also I did have a little update.
I actually had news and the update because this is a very packed episode, I would say,
as far as information.
But one of the tidbits that I had for the intro, I don't even know why I said tidbits,
But one of the news bites I wanted to give you in the update was that the AMC theater CEO,
if you ever been to AMC, just know it's a theater, it's a movie theater,
just for those who don't have an AMC in the region or area.
The AMC theater CEO said, quote, literally all, end quote,
of the increase in revenue in the fourth quarter of last year was driven by
Taylor Swift and Beyonce.
Let me repeat that.
AMC Theaters, which is a global movie theater entertainment company,
said that all of the revenue in the fourth quarter was driven by Taylor Swift and Beyonce.
There was a reason why those two names kept coming up throughout all of 2023,
because they literally had the U.S. economy on their back.
Everybody's talking about the recession, times being hard, you know,
prices is increasing, but not the minimum or the medium wage to be able to pay for things.
I would say minimum, but I think medium is like the middle that everybody gets paid.
I think so.
So that wage is not increasing, but prices are.
So everybody's, you know, struggling and things of that nature.
but one of the things that's keeping it afloat because you know you need to have somebody paying for something when it comes to entertainment or else the ecosystem can't really eco when it comes to the factor of escapism you know escapeism entertainment is a real thing and somebody has to be driving the forest as far as bringing people out even though they're trying to save as far as spending hopefully that makes sense so when it comes to that entertainment
entertainment Taylor Swift and Beyonce was at the top of all entertainment when it came to making people's, well, not making, but you know, enticing people to spend that almighty dollar to keep the, uh, ecosystem in check. Because at this point in time, uh, times are hard. So it's even, you know, more difficult to get people to spend money on whatever product you're selling. So that was my little tidbit for the intro. But now, of course, let's get into the episode. But before,
that make sure to click my link tree in my bio to access my social media and follow to keep
out my latest activities if you want to support the show financially click my cash-ab link
located towards the bottom of my link tree as it helps the show overall also make sure to show
this podcast rating the show five stars as this helps the show reach more people so we can
grow together and affect the masses now without further ado let's get into the first
topic of 135 which ultimately means we get straight into it because the topic
that's next is mr. West versus cancel culture do you take back any of the
anti-semitic stuff you might have said black people can't be anti-semitic we
are Jew you understand we are Jew so cool so cool so cool that until you do
your facts until you really do the facts with the fake indoctrination that you're
pulling to the schools and all that you know what I'm saying we're not saying we're
we're not following y'all rules i mean just like calling death con on jews and that's like do you take back
any of that sort of more extreme stuff you know what for all the kids that love me all the jewish
kids that love me i'm sorry if y'all had to hear a grown-up conversation with us all right so
when getting into mr west obviously there's a lot of contracting and contradictory um
occurring throughout his statements but one thing is consistent
His marketing team is doing all they can to combat the big machine, aka the major labels.
As if you don't know, Kanye West is currently independent and he put out an album titled Votures 1 completely under Y ZY, which is his own brand.
and make sure that's correct.
Yeah, Y Z Y, Y, which is, of course, easy.
Everybody knows.
But the reason I bring that up is because now he has 100% ownership of his Vultures 1 album
that he did in collaboration with Tide Dollar Sign.
But the sample clearance,
the hoops that he has to jump through as far as touring,
as far as a lot of the publications that he cannot be on because of the blacklisting done because of his words saying things like this right here.
Wes, a count over an anti-Semitic tweet that he posted on Saturday.
In a since removed tweet, Wes said he was going deathcon three on Jewish people.
he added, quote, you guys have toyed with me and try to call anyone, whoever opposes your agenda.
So this is coming after his Instagram account was also restricted for.
So everybody heard that, saw that, and guess what?
Now, they are reacting in a fashion that I think is well deserved.
So my personal opinion is if you say things like,
DefCon 3 not knowing the meaning behind it.
I mean, actually, let's look up the actual definition of DefCon 3, right?
Because I don't think people really realize what Kanye West is saying and then he'll act like,
oh, they're doing this because I'm black.
The conflating of, I think that's the right word, the conflation, conflating two issues
into all of this backlash being because you're black.
Even though you said, let's go DefCon 3 on the Jewish community, which I looked up the definition, is the defense readiness condition used by the United States Armed Forces, represents an increase in force readiness above that of normal readiness.
It is often seen as a standby alert and is the highest level of alert during peacetime.
So after he said that and he, you know, of course, deservedly got blackballed, he had his album go through a tumultuous time and being taken down, put back up, taken down again.
Because if you don't know, Usher also released the album around that same time.
No, actually that same day.
And he previously was just on the Super Bowl and who also made a Super Bowl appearance, Kanye West.
I mean, he was doing everything he can't, he could to combat the major label.
All the big machines and major labels wanted Usher to have that number one as far as first week album sales because of them propping him up and not only ads, uh, billboards, but he was literally the headliner, the headline performer at the Super Bowl.
So everybody and the mama was on this man's side.
and Kanye West, who put out an album that same day as him, came out at his own marketing machine,
which is the Super Bowl, and put out this fake Super Bowl commercial.
Well, to this day, I don't know where this aired, but everybody swears that Kanye West Super Bowl commercial
happened during the Super Bowl game.
But if you don't know what it actually looked like, also, Analytic Dreams video on Spotify
to see the video along with the audio.
This is what the commercial actually looked like right here.
Commercial, but the idea is I want you to go to EZ.com, Y-E-E-E-Z-Y-D-Y dot com.
And I'm right there at the bottom of the screen, and I got some shoes.
And that's it.
So, of course, he's meeting the pioneer as far as the Super Bowl marketing head artist.
at his own machine and basically putting out his own Super Bowl commercial because basically if you don't know
the whole tool of being a Super Bowl performer is you don't get paid but all type of promotion is had
via eyes and then it converts into streaming sales which it does with every single musician obviously for
usher the album that he just put out may not get as many streams because that's not the nostalgic feel
that people was going for people was going for tracks like yeah um burn well let it burn i forget what's called
but basically all the iconic tracks from usher that was played at the super bowl those get like a huge
boost and streaming sales but as far as the album that he just put out they was also listening to that
which was impacted by the uh label that he was on basically trying to get him a number one because
every musician's price as far as promotion booking information all of that goes up whenever you have a number one album so usher who put out an album under mega slash gamma i don't even know what that is oh i think he said he was independent and then named like a bunch of people who's ahead of the major labels usher is uh you know he's definitely a veteran when it comes to marketing PR games but conya was actually being independent was going against a huge machine and
And so he put out the Super Bowl commercial at the same time that is supposed to be a big push for Usher.
But you have to stay with me because I have a lot of tidbits, a lot of sound bites that ties back into Kanye West versus canceled culture.
If you think for one second that the major labels wanted Kanye West to have a number one, which as you can see right here, he ended up doing, after many attempts to literally take the album off DSPs, which.
I don't think was a marketing play.
I think it was actually trying to take the album down at this point.
And for him to still have so many sales off of that commercial that just shows you during quote unquote the Super Bowl,
which I just think he put out on social media during the Super Bowl.
I don't think it actually aired because I can't find anybody to be like, oh yeah, that happened.
I saw that while the game was gone.
Usually it was just like I'll see it on social media and that was it.
So that commercial leading to obviously the sales you see right here as far as the Yeezy reports.
And that's not even it.
Like you could say Kanye West is making up his own numbers or whatever, but it's even backed up by chart data, billboard.
I mean, Votures, volume one reached number one on streaming services.
And during the Super Bowl, after the ad was played, and I don't know what the time was,
length was it as far as or the timeline as far as uh garnering this income but basically 19 million
and merch sales preventing uh what they say bankruptcy but i think every rich person says that just so
they don't have to pay taxes but what anyways um so 19 million and merch sales based off of well was the
result off of the super bowl ad i think the marketing team for kanya west has done a
tremendous job and combating the cancel culture that's why i'm bringing it up the main point is
conya was versus cancel culture is a real thing even though you could say oh conya west is a billionaire
so 19 million is nothing is nothing to him first off 19 million is a lot to anybody i mean i think
riana literally i mean if you look it up riana literally just did a performance for nine million
and she never performs
because it was some birthday party, I think.
Let me see.
Yeah, Rihanna literally came out of retirement
for like some overseas performance.
Yeah, $9 million to perform
at an Indian business tycoon.
Tycoon?
I don't even know if that's a slur or whatever.
A Nate and Bonnie's Wedding.
Hold up.
Let me bring this up.
So y'all can see the source.
So you can look this up for you.
of, right? I don't just make stuff up like this up.
Rihanna literally just received $9 million, and you
can argue, not even argue, I think she is
a billionaire. So, $19 million is a lot.
I mean, Rihanna's coming at a retirement for $9 million
to perform. There's a lot of things that will be done for $19
million to put that in perspective. So anyways,
going back to Kanye West.
So, all of that was a success.
Voters reached number one, the easy Super Bowl.
ad
well comes into and as a result of that Super Bowl ad the results are 19 million in merch sales so
Kanye West is back again basically talking about how the people have spoken if you can't
see in the top right and he also promotes easy.com again and you're probably wondering why
not just pull up his Instagram since it's obviously from his Instagram right why not just
pull up the post itself well if you go to his instagram there's literally one post and i don't know what
this is is this the track uh talking slash once again okay so he just showcasing the music video
from um the the the track with his daughter titled talking so that's the only post up there so
that's why i'm using this because obviously he took it down but um one of the things that was
alarming because i have so many tip is to get into because conya was versus cancel culture
It's probably at this point the realest indication and, no, it's the realest depiction of what would happen in the real world if the biggest musician tried to go against music labels in a very egregious fashion.
Because everybody loves to say, oh, Drake can just go independent and change up the whole music industry.
which is actually true.
But the relationships that you keep while going independent will help you pull a usher where he says he's independent.
But then in the same interview, this was in Shannon Sharp's interview.
Basically, he said he was independent.
He said he was independent.
And then the same breath named like three or four people that literally runs the music industry,
helping him distribute his album.
Right?
So with Kanye was burning and I mean straight up just eviscerating all relationships that he had and his transition into becoming independent is a very distinct difference versus somebody like a Drake or usher going independent because they most likely at this point in time we could probably say,
that they're not going to go on this tirade like Kanye West.
And so they would keep their relationships, which will make them have the powerful
connections that you still need to have certain promotion.
Kanye West, I think, is the most organic sample size of what, no, the most organic experiment,
like real lifetime experiment on what it would look like to be the biggest musician
in the world, go completely independent,
not have your connects that still makes you, you know, part of the late, uh, part of the industry.
So now you burn your all your connects.
You're completely independent.
Put out an album and see how it does against other major label artists.
And Kanye West has showed that it is possible.
If you have the organic fan base that took him decades to build up,
it's still possible to compete with the major label.
Because I think he sold, if I,
was just see if i could find it i think he sold around 200 000 first week i think that was like
way off hold up because vultures won first week sales so one of the more successful rap debuts because of
the first number one independent album of the decade so
So first independent artist to ever go number one in a decade.
I say all the time, independent artists can't really compete with major label artists.
Basically, because of, one, behind-the-scenes games are going to be played
because instead of give you that look on the radio,
they're going to give it to somebody else who's fronting them,
even though I'm not accusing radio stations of Paola.
Let's just say they may be incentivized to promote a certain artist that may in turn get them,
actual promotion from that major label whenever it comes to it down the road because
if you have a hundred percent creative control what incentive does the major
label have to just let your music shine and they get none of the proceeds so they
have to make it look like the only way you could become a Drake or Jay-Z or
Rihanna is to use us as a tool which in turn
gives them the one up because they give you that advance always but then at the end of the day
in the long term they're going to make more over time so with you keeping a hundred percent
profits creative control you're never going to compete with a major label artist it took a Kanye
west who is literally arguably the greatest of all time when it comes to music creation
to have the first number one album as an independent artist well the first number one album as an independent artist
well the first number one in first week sales album as an independent artist so also carnival
is the high his highest charting single in 15 years people literally said Kanye west topping the
charts is over because of him quote unquote being blacklisted which technically he is blacklisted still
and carnival i think i have an actual chart
that I go to for this.
I know all my Kanye fans
is probably like loving this segment
because usually I don't get into Kanye West like this
because I don't really like unless he's dropping music
I'm not covering this man because he
he definitely has a lot of things
that's just like off with him like literally.
So I'm trying to find it.
I don't know why it's not pulling up.
Knowing I have it.
Okay, here we go.
Okay.
So we have the top three.
Okay, and then I'm trying to get into the actual list.
The Billboard Hot 100.
Official singles.
Let me see if you chart.
Okay, number nine, which it peaked at number nine, I guess.
And it's been on the charts for 13 weeks at this point.
Is that what they said?
Longest, let me see, what was that?
What was L?
Last week.
Okay, last week it was 13.
I was like 13 weeks.
Okay.
so it peaked at number nine and it's been on the charts for about three weeks and let's just say he's
surrounded by a lot of musicians on major labels even though i like these artists still have to call
them out ariano grande's signed to a major label uh duelipa signed to a major label noor canaan i mean
we ain't even talking about hip-hop artists at this point as far as him competing uh biance obviously
is on a major label teddy swims i don't even know who that is
but he has the number two track in the world currently it's just one of those things where you look at it
and you realize the type of numbers that Kanye west is putting up as not normal because independent artists
are never supposed to compete with major label artists is the reason why you see popular major label artists
try to act like they can go independent and then they never reached your charts again or at least
let alone the top 10 they never reached the top 50 again a win for an end
independent artist is probably cracking the top 200 and i kid you not like that's literally the the limit
scale as far as how hot a independent artist is why you think everybody wanted to sign central c a year or two
ago because he was actually putting up numbers in a way the independent artists aren't supposed to and was he
ever putting up top 50 uh tracks or or singles of course not but at this point in time everybody is
going to look at that and say oh well if he can do it
it i can do it too which it's just not it's just not feasible let me see okay so i had another one i have like
multiple charts i look at just a just a cross-reference and then the overall song streams i think this is
yeah okay it is number two uh has kanya west and tie dollar sign carnival with uh 23 million streams
and then usually it has like how much they've made and stuff but
But it doesn't have that right now.
But anyways, so the overall song streams, Carnivost, is number two,
only to Beyonce's Texas Hold'em.
So as far as the charts, obviously, Kanye West is at number nine.
But like I just told you, the charts are major label games.
So they're playing all type of tricks and whatever,
whatever tactics they can employ to lower Kanye West's status.
But overall, the song is number two as far as streams.
So.
And even in the market share.
Others is 11% while Universal Music Group, Warner, well, Universal Music Group is at 30%,
Sony is at 38%.
And this is all major labels care about right here, market share.
Sony has 38% in the market right now.
Universal Music Group has 30% in the market.
Warner has 21% of the market and others has 11% in the market.
So that 11% is probably for all the other independent artists.
putting out music on distro um just all type of platforms that that that uh get what the other one is
is it is empire i forget the other one anyways i don't call myself analytic dreams for no reason
i really be breaking down these numbers and be trying to understand what in the world is going on
because i feel like dark rivers sometimes like people got to see what's going on like these rappers
be straight up lying to you like they are not out here performing like you would think they are so anyways
talking about performing
hopefully I don't get flagged for this
on Spotify because I'm trying to make a point
that's not endorsing this individual
but we do have to bring up Adolf Hitler
because this is ridiculous
now I want you all to look at this
we're going to have a side by side
just so y'all don't think I'm making this up
let me bring this up first
okay so this is Kanye West's Twitter account
of course right
let me bring this down okay
this is Kanye West's Twitter account
and I'm just going to
put something to the side of it and y'all let me know if i'm tripping right i'm just going to put something
to the side of it y'all let me know if i'm tripping you know life is not a solo project and i believe
that being the single rich as black man in the world cannot secure your position in order to move people
a king needs an army
and it became an army
it was like yo
tie is with me
through he came to my party
all right so from my people
who's over at analytic dreams video on Spotify
to see the video along with the audio
y'all seen the comparison I just made
all I got to say is
y'all let me know if I'm tripping or not
but I think his marketing team
purposely uses
filter uses type of image imagery to perpetuate a certain person let's just say that in and mimic and
show inspiration obviously you could say oh i mean back in the day all the footage look like that
but you know what coney was being attached to and you know good and dang well in 2024 there's no
excuse for any footage to be looking like that so you know what he's trying to do so anyways
Um, what else?
It was other stuff I was trying to get to.
Like when I said we was going to get into Kanye West versus cancel culture,
I was being dead serious because this is probably the biggest.
Oh, here we go.
Okay, I have another sound bite.
This is Kanye West talking about him versus Adidas, I believe.
Yeah.
Not only are.
Oh, that's super loud.
Hold up.
I'll turn this down.
Okay, let's try this again.
not only are they putting out fake colorways that are non-approved they're suing me he's talking about
adidas okay and then they just plays you know it goes back into whatever but anyways so
Kanye was basically said kind of uh adidas is suing him for um 200 and some million dollars so
i lost my trade i thought oh yeah okay so the jewish thing is
the biggest reason why Kanye West is going through all this.
It's not because he's black.
It's not because he's like, oh, empowering independent artists.
There's none of that.
It's because he's literally going against the Jewish community as a whole.
So the point where I think people forgot about this, too.
I think I had to search this one up.
But Kanye West apologizes, and he did it in a very distinct way.
Like, it wasn't like a, I don't think it was a real apology because the way he put this up,
yeah here we go this is from a shout out to say cheese this from say cheese right here so as you can see
Kanye west apologizes to the Jewish community saying and this is all the way back in December so this is
way before he even started to to uh I'm not going to say market his album but this is way before
that album came he apologized to the Jewish community saying I deeply regret any pain I may
have caused now why in the world is he using this font like so like somebody I
I'm glad fans are starting to see through this because somebody at the bottom says trying to make sure he has that support being he trying to put out some music.
I get it.
See?
I love that fans are more educated nowadays on the industry side of things because he's not just coming out because he's sorry for saying DefCon 3.
He's sorry that he got caught and got punished.
He's sorry that he's lost millions upon millions with that comment.
he's not sorry about the pain that he caused he is regretful and sorry because of the pain that it's
caused him so anyways um shout to say cheese for that that's that's probably one of my favorite
hip-hop platforms besides like academics of course but anyways um what else so Kanye West versus
cancel culture is still gone to this day I don't think it's ever going to stop because
the imagery that he uses, the things that he says regarding the Jewish community,
it's a real deeper conversation to be had because even though he faces all these challenges,
like talking about the long partnership with Adidas, independent releases,
you know, stuff being used as a tactic against him as far as like people in the industry.
No, no, no, I ain't people, machines at this point in the industry having lifelong
experience because these major labels never go away it just replaces the head right so
these corporation that's going to be around for forever is using these hundred
plus years of experience to go against this man and he's still having somewhat a
financial success when it comes to his independent release and its merch
sales so I would say ultimately Kanye West versus cancel culture is one of the
more iconic depictions we've ever had as what would
of what would happen to a very popular artist going against machines and going against
everything that would be considered safe.
So him going out on the limb saying all these things about the Jewish community,
very offensive comments, I might add, makes the whole Kanye West versus cancel culture
culminate into a very unconventional approach and a lot of self-promotion,
but at the end of the day, you still can't neglect the fact that it's still, to this day,
having and resonating with a significant portion of his audience,
which led him to have these sales as far as album going number one,
and all of these Yeezys selling out.
basically having 19 million as far as a profit so I mean at the end of the day my
personal thoughts on it is that Kanye West definitely needs a resurgence as far as
apology is considered like at least he apologized you know a lot of artists
don't even apologize so I would say at least he apologized but then
Because of his apologies being very contradictory of his actions, the second part of that is actually going to this whole year showcasing how much you've changed and how much you actually are not against the Jewish community.
And comparing yourself to Adolf Hitler is not helping the imagery at all.
So these unconventional marketing strategies including the Super Bowl ad, even though it might be.
be successful, you cannot keep going against the Jewish community and thinking that they are not
going to end up actually making you bankrupt. Like forget lying that you're bankrupt to not pay
taxes. They're going to actually make you go bankrupt and successfully end up canceling you if you keep
trying to act against them as a whole community, if that makes sense. So I think he needs to
stop with the words and show a lot of action this whole year. And, um,
I think that means that he would have to probably swallow his pride and ego.
But at the end of day, I just wanted to cover this Kanye West versus cancel culture.
I think a lot of people was wondering.
Like, I got a lot of questions about Kanye West.
And I post Kanye West sometimes to my social media.
But I'm not going to lie to you.
I one time, like last year when he was going on like the Alex Jones stuff,
I posted a Kanye West video.
And I got the weirdest.
message ever. It was like, oh, if you post him again, it didn't say shadow ban necessarily,
but it said, we're not going to show you in recommended in non-followers, feeds, basically all the type of
stuff to basically let you know shadow ban. So, yeah, do have that what you will. It was,
there was very unique messaging that came with Kanye West.
doing what he was doing and it made sense so at this point in time i think the only way for him to
go on the apology tour is with action not words so um but at the end of the day it's coney west
vultures went number one first number one album for an independent artist in like the past decade
plus so he's probably just going to still think that he's bigger than the culture when it comes
to them trying to cancel him so that been said click my link tree in my bio let me know what
my social media is what do you necessarily think about Kanye West versus wait what do you
personally think about Kanye West versus cancel culture and also how do you think Kanye West can
come back from him being quote unquote canceled so currently everybody's figuring out that
drama is the main tool in the toolbox that pushes hip hop
And I mean, look no further than Megan the Stallion's new single hiss where she's talking all over is more of like a biography, an audiobook, something not similar to a bona fide hit.
Let's just say that.
Talking at the beginning, middle, end of the track, but it has debuted or a day.
debut at number one on the Billboard Hot 100.
And obviously she becomes the third female rapper ever
alongside the queen, Onika Mirage, and Lauren Hill, to achieve this feat.
The reason why I say all of that is because
the structure of the track is not a hit single,
which is indicative of where it is now,
68 on the top 100 track charts,
whereas last week,
and I'm making this in the first week of March.
Last week, it was number 48.
And its peak position was number one.
And obviously it's only been on the charts for four weeks.
So at some point, somebody has to realize the huge falloff is because of drama being the main factor to while successful in the first place.
Which, to be honest, marketing is time and place.
and if Megan the Stallion was able to become the third female rapper to ever have a solo number one track,
then I guess by any means necessary, that feat was accomplished.
So anyways, he has also topped the hot R&B and hip hop songs and hot rap songs charts, of course.
I mean, if you top one overall, then, you know, the specific genre charts, you're also number one.
of course the feud with onika came and went because niki put out bigfoot and mcgmy and
mcgyn didn't really respond because technically her successful track was the response because
even after all of the shenanigans that nicky was doing as far as going on a whole seven-day
tirade talking about Megan. Megan tweeted out the she basically congratulated her fan base for
getting her track overall to number one saying quote thank you thank you thank you
exclamation point hold up first off this is like a Grammy speech right here for all the
artists in the world I think a number one should be put in the same if not even a higher category than a
Grammy because to have a number one track in the world means at one point in time all these
musicians all these tracks that came out yours was the one the masses was playing the most so
i think that's even more rewarding than the actual grammy like if i was an artist and they was like
oh do you want a grammy or number one i'm choosing that number one time and time again so
anyways she said thank you thank you thank you exclamation point
Thank you, God. Thank you, Mama Holly. A holy? Is it Holly? Holy? She put two else. I don't even know if it's a name or if it's holy. Maybe she was trying to, anyways, analytic dreams video on Spotify to see the video along with the audio.
She went on to say, thank you everyone. Yeah, I think it was holy. Okay, because she's just using extra letters.
Thank you, everyone that took the time out of their week to go.
hard and make this happen. I love you. I appreciate you. I'm so grateful with a lot of emojis.
Like, this is number one. Three exclamation points. Thank you for running it up, hotties.
Let's keep going hard and staying positive. That's the key. That's the key point right there.
Love y'all. So all I want to say is,
of course
Megan the Stallion has had success on the charts before it's the first time that she's ever
been the solo act on a track and they go number one so with his it's not the same as a
wop or a savage which also previously went number one where she was accompanied with other
musicians this is the first time that she was the solo reason for the track going number one
now obviously she's on a major label you know managed by rock nation things of that nature but
who isn't like in a game of fabricating or making numbers look bigger than they actually are making a stallion
was just a player in the game like you know how they say don't hate the player hate the game
it's not like everybody else isn't playing the same game than making the stallion is so for her to go
number one is a huge accomplishment and also just highlights the fact that to be one of the biggest
musicians in the world you have to at some point encapsivate the masses i mean i think that goes
without saying but for megan a stallion to captivate the masses in the midst of a humongous beef
with one of the biggest hip-hop creators ever i don't think people realize the amount of influence and
power the people who are against Megan the Stoughton have. I mean, Drake just the other day was putting
out a post with Toy Lane saying three him, which for those who don't know, means free him. But,
you know, he just didn't care enough to actually type out the letters. So anyways, um,
Mickey criticizing Megan, Drake criticizing Megan. All publications seems to be going
in a negative direction when it comes to Megan. And the only,
time she ever gets positive press is because of her rock nation management that purser puts her in certain
lights i mean i think literally i got some type of uh stat where rene rap and megan the stallion had a new
peak of 18 on the billboards pop airplay chart which is very specific so i don't know if that's like
i don't know if that's actually on the chart so they just said pop airplay charts you know sometimes
they'd like to put them uh esp in stats just to make them seem higher than it is but anyways her just being
Renee rap her also I think she was on some type of show with mean girls or whatever she has some
type of cameo if that's not a result of being on rock nation management uh what else I mean
crunchy role anime awards you know it's more of an organic authentic cross promotion because if you
don't know making the stallion's into anime and literally she had a oh hold up yeah that'd be
because that was interesting because I think Megan Stallion's anime um her her her
Like for anime should be explored like they are currently doing.
So her management is like really good at marketing her, I would say.
Megan, anime.
Let's see if I can just pull it up.
Because she was at the anime awards in.
Ah, here we go.
Hopefully this isn't too loud.
Hold on.
Give me one second.
Okay, cool.
That's only 45 seconds.
I'm trying to see.
Was it the full interview?
I think it was only 4.
45 seconds okay cool all right so this is Megan the Stallion also Anna I know y'alli
I keep hearing that sound bite an analytic dreams video on Spotify to see the video along with
the audio but anyways this is Megan the Stallion answering some type of question during the
anime conference I'm gonna see if I can pull it up even more for you hold up there we go okay
it definitely got to be a little it has to be the anime come on I want to see you
the city getting tow up like the city need to be to destroy it like on the first go i need to understand
why you're mad what is the character development story what are we going through take me on that ride
with you off the top i'm picking people from jojo's bizarre adventure because they got all the stuff
oh okay so they have the questions on the screen you can read and then she's answering it like that
so that's the style of interview they're doing and they just got all the swag so i'm gonna pick
joe too rocujo and i'm gonna pick boogirati because my boy be moving so basically she just
answered for the people who's not watching who which anime character was she like to dance with so this is
like i don't know it's interesting to me because there's only one of you in the world so i try to be anybody
else so i love how she gets into her anime um infatuation and it just comes across as organic i like
actually believe her when she says she like really enjoys anime i you know i believe that she you know
goes on whole what they call binge or whatever and why i like i actually believe her when she says she like really enjoys anime i you know i i believe that she you know goes on
whole what they call binge or whatever and watch different anime shows you know and she's just
showcasing you know her favorites right here a comfort anime that i put on when i'm having a bad day
i definitely can throw on enu washa or yu yu hokasho or yu hokasho i definitely will fall asleep to
yu hokashel like that it yes yu hokasho is my comfort anime gojo gojo could do anything so yeah
okay so she's basically talking about anime character that she would have back her up in a freestyle
so that's basically you give what i'm trying to say right so
So basically, the management, which is Rock Nation, is doing a tremendous job with Megan the Stallion.
I mean, I think she was just on Big Mouth not too long ago.
She's on a track with Renee Rap, which I don't even know if that helps her.
But, you know, anyways.
A whole ad thing for Nike.
I know she's doing something for Nike.
I saw somewhere she was on Mean Girls.
And then right here, she's on the, you know, the anime awards or convention.
or whatever what's it what's it called the crunchy roll anime awards so she's in
Tokyo right now basically you know the the promotion is it's top tier when it kind of I mean that
was probably her I ain't gonna lie that was probably her one to go to that but all the other stuff
I think Rock Nation is doing tremendous job when it comes to Megan the Stalien because obviously
they're trying to make her the next Nicki Minaj and I think Rock Nation knows what they're doing
by advising her and walking her through,
I wouldn't be surprised of Jay-Z himself called Megan the Stallion
and told her how she should go about this beef with Nikki Minaj.
Because a rap lyrical spar,
one of the greatest ever is not a light thing to just be like,
oh, I mean, she got through that.
Like, no, she actually came up with that beef
and didn't leave scarred nothing.
Like, we talk about Nikki in this high regard
when it comes to lyrical mastery.
but the lyrics didn't seem to do anything when it came to Megan.
In all actuality, it actually implemented and, uh, no, it uplifted and, you know,
boosted her sales for his even more, which is to bring it full circle.
Why it debuted at, uh, debuted at number one on the Billboard Hot 100,
making her the third female rapper ever alongside Nikki and Lauren Hill to achieve this feat.
So with that being said, current news is Megan just recently signed a deal with Warner Music Group, allowing her to retain the rights of her master recordings and publishing.
So I think that was basically it.
I think that was all I had.
Let me see Celebrates No.
1.
Yeah, that's basically it.
So anyways, click my link to your bio.
Let me know in one of my social medias.
What do you think about Megan the Stallion currently in her status in the hip hop industry?
And also, when it comes to her number one, which track?
do you think is better out of all of the woman tracks that have debuted at number one on the
billboard charts now Atlanta what are y'all doing to my algorithm because one of
things about algorithms is that it takes a liking to whatever you look up so now I got all
this freaky stuff, no pun intended, all over my algorithms simply because I'm a student of hip hop.
Now, what am I specifically talking about? Of course, we got into the documentary that's coming
out on Hulu titled Freak Nick, The Wildest Party Never Told. Now, let's get into some backstory with
freak nick right because i was flabbergasted on what it actually meant obviously this happened in the
1990s so i wasn't even boring yet but had a lot of people a lot of people talking about this
saying that your mama was probably not was probably at freak nick your auntie was probably a freak nick
i mean you're often to see some of the wildest stuff at freak nick now this documentary is on
hulu so i don't think it'll get too wild right but apparently
This was at a small park picnic conceived by Spellman and Morris Brown students near the Atlanta University Center in 1983.
So this is when it was created, 1983.
And then quickly transformed into one of the biggest events of the year by the time the 1990s rolled around.
And basically, the whole event was for local students to have some.
fun that couldn't afford to return home during spring break that is what it
originally started off as now of course well a lot of people would probably say is
you know whenever you make an invention there's no telling how that invention
is going to evolve and boy did freak Nick involve into something it started to
attract students from other campuses non students and celebrities and grew to
have 200,000 attention
these annually. Let's just pray to Lord Jesus that your mama or auntie was not one of them.
So anyways, the event obviously was documented. This is back in the day where I don't know why.
People thought that because of the advancement of technology not being at a certain place,
they wouldn't have any film. But this was in the 90s. It wasn't like people talking like this
event happened back in the 60s or 70s where they,
really couldn't get no footage but this happened back in the 90s where uh cameras was definitely
already invented and being improved upon so there's some stuff that we could see in this documentary
that people thought would never be captured for the public to witness so anyways the director
of this documentary p frank williams emphasized that freak nick is at his heart a music document
That's why you can't make this stuff up.
I mean, obviously it could be because, you know, at some point,
a lot of heinous things happen at Freaknik, not to make this too serious.
But you can't really show that unless you want to get sued, right?
So saying that it's a music documentary makes sense,
especially all of the features on here, which I think I just showed the feature list.
The only reason I'm playing this, because I was going to go through the album,
but they play like, I think, I forget what it was called,
but basically they played a track that I'm not trying to get copyrighted on.
let's see executive produce they show the executive producers oh here we go okay so as you see right here
hey they went through that quick they wasn't trying to give them no shine
all right here we go so we have jermaine depree uncle luke 21 savage and these are just like
the documentary features you know it's not like the main people little john jalen rose
what he got to say up no i killer mike too short
Eric Sermon and Seelow Green.
Those are just some of the notable features of this documentary.
Because with P. Frank Williams, he is declaring that this is a music documentary
and said that he's exploring key players like Luke and Dupree and is going to dive into the cultural impact.
Boy, did it have a cultural impact.
The eventual downfall attributing to factors like violence over.
overcrowding city planning and concerns surrounding the 1996 Olympics.
I don't know what that has to do with it, but I guess we'll see in the documentary.
The biggest thing is probably the release date.
The documentary is said to come March 21st.
Okay, so March 21st is the set release date for this documentary.
And best believe me, I'll be watching it.
I ain't going to lie.
I'm trying to see something.
Like, I'm trying to see what in the world this document or this whole event was so impactful or why it was so impactful.
And why do everybody talk about this just being the straight up, uh, most promiscuous, infused event ever created?
You know, there's other situations where you could just say it's not that bad or whatever, but Freakneck seems to have encapsulated the masses.
because granted it happened in Atlanta every single year people came from all over the world to come to this one event and the attendance as you as i said earlier was around 200,000 attendees annually so this means people kept coming back for more right so anyways um that's basically it i mean they say that freak nick is going to go beyond the parties so i think they're not going to try to focus too much on the you know
promiscuous nature of maybe your mom or auntie they're probably going to get more into the
black empowerment culture realization uh what else probably uh the darker size of freak nick
including police brutality and violence man forget all that let's get into the jokes so anyways um
people on the internet had a blast with this uh announcement basically saying that
let's see if i can find this somebody said pausing the footage of the hulu document
to show your homeboy what his mama and auntie were doing in spring 95 yeah
thought I was joking everybody's saying somebody's mama auntie's going to get exposed
could be yours anyways let's keep going so um somebody else said thank God we used to do
all our dirt before social media and digital cameras who couldn't be us and then
Hulu making a freak Nick 94 documentary and then shows us
usher me watch this now if you want to see this of course analytic dreams video on
Spotify for the video along with the audio that's just ridiculous and then one final
comment that I just thought was hilarious was see pull this up I see Hulu is going to
have a documentary about Freak Nick I bet it's a lot of shook ones who are praying
they aren't on film cutting up now me I'm glad I'm not old enough
to have been a part of that scene.
She didn't even say she ain't want to go.
She just said I wasn't old enough.
She said she was ready, but not age-wise.
So that's anyway, you know, that's unfortunate.
Hopefully, you know, she realizes what she missed out on
when this documentary comes out.
Anyway, that's basically it.
You know, I'm not going to talk too much about this.
Basically, just a little promotion for this documentary coming out,
releasing March 21st on Hulu.
Hopefully y'all enjoy it.
And hopefully you don't see your mom and auntie,
A, statistically speaking, somebody's going to be disappointed.
And surprise, let's just say that.
So anyways, click my link to your bio.
Let me know one of my social medias.
What do you think about this whole freaknik documentary coming out on Hulu, March 21st?
And when it eventually comes out, will you be watching?
It's time for me to give my review of Kanye West and Todd Dalla Sons album, Votras 1.
Now, of course, before I get my review, I have to say, or I have to start with the facts, which is sales.
Now, Vultures 1 debuted with 148,000 equivalent album units moved in the first week of release.
So, to put that in perspective, Kanye West is a major label artist before this Vultures 1 release.
And this man was doing half of 230, 300.
and now he's independent and still keeps basically, I will say about 50% of his streams.
Now, a lot of other artists have way more fabricated numbers,
but the core fan base is why people keep coming back because nobody's going to give you in advance.
They don't think they could recoup on.
Warner, Sony, Universal Music Group is not going to give you in advance
that they think they couldn't make back years to come.
come or years down the line so if con you was being independent still putting up major label type
numbers literally having carnival rise to the number one spot actually it peaked at number three
i believe but currently it is still yeah still number three so basically it's just up there
in the top three doesn't seem like it's coming down anytime soon but they do they did say in
streaming it was number one so on global spotify with
5.883 million streams it was number one the difference between streaming and the chart that i'm
looking at which is actual album sales is i remember academics was talking about this not too long ago
basically he said that if you're a free member it usually like if 4 000 free members on
whatever dsp Spotify apple um amazon music whatever if they if 4 000 people streamed
your track that would be equivalent to one album sell
But if a subscribed premium member streamed their album 3,000 times, that would count as one album cell.
So that means he was kind of gauging it in the middle.
Roughly, 3,500 streams take is equivalent to one album cell.
So Kanye West can be the top, which is statistically a fact.
Carnivore is the top streaming track when it comes to, well, streams.
but as far as album's equivalent units moved by this single it's number three and peaked at number three
hopefully that makes sense so the tracks above it just had more people go out and purchase the track
which is funny because before no during you can go back to all my coverage of this album i kept repeating
by kanya west's vouchers won because he's going to change the mix or something
something's going to get taken off because of clearances or whatever he was having sample
clearance issues so stuff was getting taken down put back up which i just think is the major
labels mad that an independent artist was putting up high numbers like this because it just reinvigorates
the fact that a lot of people believe drake should go independent to really put it to the music
industry and show you don't need though but in all actuality as you see with a huge decline in sales
even though it's super 1% what Kanye was having 148,000 sales first week,
he could have had 300 to 350 first week with a major label.
So just putting that perspective.
But getting back into the album, right?
Because this is just a review.
I just had to give you a little bit of sales news to let you know how well this is performing,
even though he's independent, no help from major distributors.
so when i distribute major uh uh promoters which is the label so this man has seven tracks currently
in the top 100 and this is not the streaming charts this is like the actual units so so carnival
is it peaked at number three and it's currently at number three um f something with which you know
pg podcast so you know you fill in the blanks is currently at 23 so i'm giving you here
his top basically is his top tracks performing on this album f sum is number two at 23 uh see oh no no
i'm tripping burn was number two at yeah burn is number two i cannot read what is this peak position
all it's showing me is peak position okay i'm tripping okay all right i'm not floyd maybe with i promise
anyways burn is the number two track currently at 53 but it's a
peaked at 33 and then at number three F something is at 57 but it peaked at 23 so
number four we have back to me which is at 59 and this is the top hundred charts as far as
units and that track peaked at number 26 number five we have the track Vultures which is at
85 currently on the charts which peaked at 34
Number six, we have Do It, which is personally one of my favorite tracks off the album.
I think that's just such an energetic type of track that really gets you going at the gym.
You know, when Kanye was like, whatever, the sample he used was like, I don't know, but it's provocative.
It gets the people going.
That's how I feel about Do It.
Like, that track is far.
But, so that's the sixth highest performing track off of the album.
And that's currently at number four, which peaked at number 52 on the charts.
and then for the last but definitely not least seven uh the seventh best performing track off of the
album is talking which is currently 96 but peaked at number 30 on the um on the charts and obviously
you can look this up yourself on a billboard so you know i'm not just making this up so anyways um
what else yeah that's basically i don't want to spend too much time just talking about numbers so
let's get into my personal opinion and how i feel about the album
going into my
rolodex my
discography
of music
that has just
went in and out of my brain
pause is that pause i don't even know
but anyways the music i've been listening to
i would say by not by far
that's a little no i mean i don't care
by far this is the best album i've heard this year
i mean obviously it's three years into the
three months into the year so it's
nothing it's not too crazy of a statement but 21 savage did drop and i'm i'm sorry but on no planet
no galaxy no solar system is 21 savage ever making a better project than conya west so um yeah that's
just not it but um not saying it's bad it's just like as far as comparing it to i was like yeah
it's just not comparable like conya west album vultures it's probably my favorite hip-hop album
of 24 so what else somebody else
dropped oh french drop i really really enjoyed french montana's album i think that was called
coke boys what was this called oh not coke boys it was a man what i think it was called mac and
cheese five anyways that was probably one of my favorite albums this year obviously we're only three
months in but i'm just giving you my list so uh and also if you click my link sure in my bio go
towards the bottom i have a tab that says like what i'm listening to and you can see
for yourself like i have a whole uh i have all type of playlist i wonder if i could bring it up i have
all type of playlist that um you know just showcase one i'm actually listening to like this is the
actual account i use when it comes to uh putting out music or not putting out music but putting out of
what i like oh yeah here we go right here see y'all uh man hold on i can't show this because
it has my other stuff on the side which that that's that
for the podcast but um let me see if i could just screenshot it hold up in a second all right uh yeah
okay cool i think that works yeah i do have stuff for the pod i can't really show but i mean if you go
to the the tab in my link tree then you can see my public playlist if that makes sense anyways
uh i screenshot it so here we go right here so as you can see like i see i wasn't joking do it is literally
in my top track uh for the month of of february so what else but yeah as you can see i've been listening to
french montana like this is actually my my account that i use to listen to music so if you go to my link
tree all the way down to like what i listen to i'm gonna have playlist like fresh fire as you see right
here my top 10 tracks of last year top five albums of last year top five albums of 2020 basically
a whole just it's literally like an um archive of of music of music
music that I've enjoyed for the past years.
I actually keep list of music I like, which, you know, it just makes it easier for me to go
back and see what I like from whatever or whichever year.
So, anyways, so as you can see, I've been listening to Kanye West and of course Drake, like
the only track that Drake is even a part of and it's in my top five.
I swear, that's crazy.
But anyways, let's get to my personal opinion of the album.
Now, of course, like always, I usually get, I usually go.
track by track but as far as this album i'm not going to lie to you i have three particular tracks that i just
think it's heads and shoulders above the rest and for that i'm just i would go track by track but
to compare it to a body of work how do i put this it doesn't seem like a concept album it seems like an album
meant for performance.
Like it's not something where the first track,
second track and third track all flow into each other
like subject-wise.
It's more of a sonically good album
meant to be played at a party or an event,
if that makes sense.
It's not one of those where he's trying to lead you on a journey
and then at the end you're just going to find the meaning of life.
You know, like the Kendrick Lamar Dam album.
The way you can play it back, you can play it backwards and it still has a message.
It's not one of them.
It's just like a sonically great album.
Now, will it be my favorite of the year?
Way too soon to tell because it's only three months in.
But I would say, do it is one of my favorites off of the album.
So if I had to give a top three, I would probably say do it, burn, and I'd probably say King.
I don't know why.
but King just seems like the ultimate villain anthem.
Like King is a track where if you was the Joker,
he was Lex Luther, Green Goblin,
I think I would just listen to this on repeat.
Like, I'm not going to lie to you.
Like, if you want to just take over the world
and be straight up labeled a supervillain,
this is the anthem.
Because this man Kanye West said,
crazy bipolar, anti-Semite.
do y'all know what anti-semite means hold up because this man was wilder on this album so it's not like one of
those where you could play around your parents and they won't be like son what you or a daughter what you
listening to like it's not one of them albums where you can just get away with playing this with
your parents it's not one of them type things um this man called himself a racist literally uh
anti-semi is a person who harbors hostility towards prejudices against or discrimination against
Jews very you know very serious left turn but I would be very ignorant not to bring that up as
and I wouldn't even feel like I'm doing my job if I didn't bring up the fact that Kanye West
calls himself anti-Semite or it says it's in a quotation mark so I don't know if he's trying
to try to say what other people is trying to say to him okay this is a genius
annotation so it's not like because you know genius doesn't always have a hundred
percent correct when it comes to what the words mean but the way he says it it's like I am
those things but I'm still the king because he literally says still the king so it could be
taken two different ways which one is a little bit more egregious than the other obviously he
could be calling himself crazy bipolar anti-semi which the last one is crazy that's like whoa
that's like a white person coming out and saying like yeah I'm a racist and I hate
the ERs you know what I'm saying like it's one of them type things like like what
what he just what he just say so hopefully it's the first whereas he's just saying what people are
labeling him but then he's still the king so even though people put these labels on them I'm still
the king let's just go with that but still this is still like this is a villain anthem which is why
it's just one of my favorites because I love how he's just embracing the hate you know he's
embracing the hate he's embodied it and it came into a track which granted it is short but it's one of
my favorites just because of the the overall theme and the sonics that he goes into i like when they
change the vocal inflection like he gets into uh let's see so he gets into like uh yeah that i'm still
the king chorus and then he changes up to vocal inflection where he he gets into this is which i've
been waiting for hot and then it basically goes into the change of inflection
and they get into that flow.
And my favorite part is when Todd Dollar Sign came in
and he basically said,
yeah, okay, so it starts with,
Papa Rossi loves me, they show up to everything,
and that's when that vocal inflection starts to change.
And then Todd Dollar Sign is like,
I can pay you double, let me put you on the team,
which is, you know, it's crazy talk.
They're talking on this album.
I ain't going to lie to you.
Sonically, it's very pleasing.
But, uh,
Which one?
Oh, this is the one that caught me off growing.
Todd Dalla-San says she just won an expedite of at the Bottega store.
I don't know why, but the delivery on that is top ten.
Like, there's a reason, not top ten, it's top tier.
It's a reason why Tadalasan is being accompanied throughout this entire project,
and I just think he's one of the more talented humans when it comes to making music.
I mean, some of the greatest tracks from Drake has Tadal D'San on it.
but um and party next door so i don't know it's a it's a close race between party next door and
tiled all the time if you really think about it like all the hits that's that party has wrote rn b wise
not rap let's not get crazy but rmb wise all the hits that party next door has written for drake
i think it's uh it's a conversation to who is the better artist but let's just say
whenever Drake is on a track R&B wise would party next door a top dollar sign straight heat
Kanye West probably noticed that and he was like hey I need all that sauce on my album which is why this
collaborative effort is even exist in my opinion so anyways that's enough of king um getting into
burn it's gonna be probably my most controversial take but this reminds me of a track straight off of the
graduation trilogy and before people
people killed me sonically and when I say sonically hold up I don't think people know
I mean by that because you know they can say quality wise whatever but basically
I'm just talking about how it sounds like sonically it's just basically the
definition of it is it refers to the way that something refers to something in a way
that relates to sound so that's it that's not nothing more intricate you know
nothing too advanced for you is just sound that's it so when i say sonically if you go to a graduation
track and it come back to burn is very very similar in the way that connier's rapping i don't know if he
found the stems for how he had the settings for how he had the vocal set but it's a very similar
sound when it comes to uh this track burn which is why it's one of my favorites because i was like oh he
really is rapping like he's uh back on graduation and and that's that's
probably the greatest trilogy run in hip-hop history i ain't gonna lie to you so anyways um
and then my favorite track well i would say favorite but that's too i feel like that's too specific of a
title because i really do like this album like there's a lot of other tracks on here that i like i like
quabo's verse um i like the way he came on the album obviously everybody's just going crazy for free to
you know freddie gills verse which you know technically he was he was rapping rapping but
it just didn't do it for me like i'm like i'm like i'm like i'm like i'm like i'm
Okay. Hamburger's chili mac.
Oh, that's...
Nah, I'll just play. I'll just joke it.
Now, Freddie Gibbs definitely had the best verse on the album.
Y'all thought I was trying to hate on that.
Nah.
Nah, that was definitely the best verse on the album by far.
So, um...
What else?
What was I saying?
So, yeah, Burnt feels like it was ripped straight from graduation.
Do It is definitely my favorite track.
So I would just say it's my favorite.
I just like the way it starts off.
And I like the vibe.
And, um...
I just, Todd Dahlia's just so talented,
it vocally. It's just like he really carries it to a point where the inflections that he
uses keeps the entire body of work sounding fresh. Like Kanye West, the delivery was very subpar
when it comes to his previous music. But as far as the lyrics, what he was saying, I think it was
pretty on point. So next time, I would say his delivery needs a lot of improvement. But as far
as the um the the lyrics the unique there's not something you heard before you know he's not saying
something that oh everybody's talking about he's talking about unique things that only connie west's
life could be attributed to and i like that but the delivery is probably the thing that people has
the most problem with because rapping is not all about just rhyming words is the inflection
is the way you deliver it it's the way you want people to feel as you said like you could scream something
you could whisper something you could change your voice in a silly way like kendrick does sometimes
this is just a lot of stuff anyways um yeah Kanye west really stayed in a realm
where the inflection really didn't change and the delivery of the words was not it was very
very subpart but that's probably the worst part about the album is the delivery of some of the
lines in this album um that's why you know my favorites were my favorites because the way he switched
up his inflection like on burn was it king no no king yeah the the um papar rossi love me they show up to
everything that whole verse straightfire if he would have delivered stuff like that more often i think
the album would be by far in a way my favorite but you know it's way too soon to tell so currently
it's definitely one of my favorites but ultimately i don't know if it would end up in my top five
but hey we'll just have to see how uh 2024 ends up going
so with that being said click my link to you in my bio let me know one of my social
media's what do you think about my kanya west vultures one album review and also personally what was
your favorite track off of the album now when getting into xbox everybody knows that it's no secret
xbox has been having a lot of alleged claims made when it comes to the future strategy involving
putting out their games and especially hardware as i was at best buy i believe yeah i was at best
by you know looking for a certain uh tool to use as far as i think it was like ht ms something like
that it was like a converter or whatever but anyways i say all that to say i was about to check out
And I heard somebody say, yeah, man, I heard that Xbox not making no more consoles.
And not even like I heard.
They said it like a matter of fact.
Like, yeah, man, I wouldn't get that because, you know, Xbox, they're not making any more consoles.
So once I heard that, you know, obviously me, you know, I'm to myself.
So I was like, dang, that's crazy.
People really thinking what is rumored is true.
Like, they're going around thinking it's true.
So whenever Phil Spencer, Matt Booty, his last name is Booty, my fault.
I got to be mature.
And other key figures of Xbox came out to have an entire podcast to touch on hardware updates, community growth, Xbox Game Pass, business strategies, etc., etc.
I thought to myself, this is perfect timing because people out here are just straight up lying, just fabricating the so-called truth, right?
because they look at this and they say Xbox is finished if they're not going to make any more consoles
and basically the overall exclusive models going out the window because they're putting all their
games on PlayStation or really just all platforms well except for Nintendo because you already know how
that go but Phil Spencer came out to confirm some of the rumors but obviously not the big ones
which was just flat out lies at this point.
They literally said, well, let's just go through it, right?
Xbox acknowledged that their initial plan
with the market and marquee exclusives is changing a little bit,
and they pinpointed the way it would change
as four exclusive games will be ported to rival platforms
focusing on smaller scope titles
or those benefiting from larger communities,
community engagement so a lot of people saying all the games was coming to
PlayStation or just cross platform but that's not true only a select number and to
be more specific they listed high-fi rush pentament sea of thieves and grounded
as those titles to be pushed to the PlayStation platform as well and then they
kind of gave some insight involving around why they're doing this
as the strategic marketing strategy being implemented is basically exploring more titles
and emphasizing the importance of adapting to gaming habits,
meaning that loyalty to a particular brand is becoming less significant.
In translation, putting games out on one platform inherently is going to lower sales.
So they are going to change the traditional concept of exclusivity by having a service-based ecosystem accessible on multiple platforms.
And then he went on to say, and this is Phil Spencer, so this is not like no hearsay.
For the people over at Analytic Dreams video, you will see the podcast I'm referring to right here.
I mean, it says updates on Xbox business, official Xbox podcast.
You can go listen to yourself.
I just have it up so you can see what I'm basically concisely breaking down.
But it's a longer 22 minute video if you want to watch the entire thing.
But in short, Xbox announced that the Xbox game passed with 34 million subscribers will remain exclusive to Xbox consoles.
because a lot of people was once again fabricating
their so-called truth
by saying that it will be on Nintendo Switch
but of course Phil Spencer came out and said that's not true
and Xbox GamePas will continue to be available
for Xbox gamers and ensuring that
inscribers subscribers will receive new titles
without extra costs so along with that
they also announced the inclusion of Activision
Blizzard on Game Pass starting with Diablo
4, which is coming out
March 28th, and the rollout
for other Activision Blizzard
games will follow, although, of course,
it's unclear if they will be
one day game
past titles, or first day,
game pass titles. So, as
far as the multi-platform rumors going
around, Xbox did say that they're going
to be putting some titles
on other platforms, but basically not all
of them, right? And then
And as far as the major flagship titles such as Starfield Halo, it's definitely not coming to Motown platform simply for the fact that Xbox wants to use certain titles for Motel platform, but not there are flagships, if that makes sense.
And that put an end to all of the speculations, speculation from gamers talking about certain exclusives being ported to non-Microsoft systems, because that was the biggest deal.
people was getting upset over these false fabricated you know facts that people were trying to
spew saying that xbox is now no longer uh suitable for gamers because they're not making any more
consoles and they're not putting uh they're not going to have the exclusives exclusively our Xbox
is going to be on all platforms so i'm glad that xbox came out with this podcast basically putting it
into all of that and letting people know that there is a shift
in the way that everybody was rumoring it to be.
So, I mean, the ultimate conclusion for all of the information that was said during a 22-minute
video podcast is that Xbox Series X, along with that game pass Ultimate, offers a wide selection
of games, obviously, but the emphasis lies with a subscription-based model for gaming access,
because Xbox is going to continue to evolve its strategy when it comes to the game pass,
but with the whole exclusive model not being as profitable for certain smaller titles such as the ones I named earlier which is uh I can find it
high-fi rush pentamintimate sea of thieves grounded those type of titles Xbox came out and said
they feel like it will have a better community driven uh driven accessibility being multi-platform but doesn't mean that all titles are going to be
non-Microsoft platforms.
So obviously is an ever-changing, ever-changing landscape when it comes to the gaming industry.
And my personal thoughts on it is Xbox obviously is losing the console war to PS5.
But as a gamer, I don't really put too much credence into hardware on the reason I have a
PlayStation, which I've said multiple times.
I mean, I've literally had Xbox longer than I had a PlayStation.
and the reason I switched over
is simply for the fact that Spider-Man
is exclusive to PlayStation.
But come to find out,
it was like 5 million sales
when Spider-Man 2 came out,
but there's like 50 million PS5 owners.
So somebody's not buying the game,
you know, either, yeah,
somebody's not out,
somebody's out here as a PlayStation
Sony pony champion their hardware
that's not even supporting
the major flagship exclusives.
So with that being said, I think the gaming industry as a whole is realizing that these gamers are really picky when it comes to certain games.
So that means that putting them out on multiple platforms will obviously have a positive effect on the bottom line.
But still keeping that flagship exclusivity, which Xbox is doing.
I would not see PlayStation really trying to implement the same model because they're winning when it comes to the overall console race as far as how.
how many consoles are being sold.
I mean, if we really broke it down
as far as how many PS5s to Xbox Series Xs there are,
I mean, it's not even close.
Like the race, if I had to estimate,
it would be like,
out of 10 people who buy a console,
maybe three or four of them will buy Xbox
and the rest will buy a PlayStation.
Like, that's how large the disparity is
when it comes to Xbox Series X in the PS5.
But the biggest thing overall is that the Xbox game pass
sets up so many future possibilities
for just their ecosystem evolving into a way that you boot up your PC or yeah basically
boot up your PC and you can have access to these Microsoft games which isn't the
same for PlayStation because of course Microsoft you know has a lot of ports over to
the PC platform so when really getting into it it's a lot more that you can break
down but the overall sentiment that I'm covering is just the false rumors that Xbox
was not making any more consoles and that they was putting all of their Xbox games on
other platforms which is just not true so as I said with analytic dreams video on
Spotify you can see the video along with the audio so you can watch this whole 22
minute video if you want to basically I just broke it down and in a more concise
fashion just so you know the overall message that they was trying to convey but basically you know
with that being say click my link sharing my bio let me know one of my social medias what do you think
about the whole Xbox series x versus PlayStation 5 and ultimately do you think the way the Xbox is going
with their shift and exclusive game strategy is going to end up being more profitable in the long run or not
now for all my gamers let me let you in
on a little secret.
There's this thing that came around in the late 1900s
and now is making a resurgence in 2024
under the new name AI Shark.
Now, of course, this is an evolution of the name
because the original name was Game Shark,
which was basically a video game cheat cartridge.
Yes, all the way back in the 1900s.
Whereas the products had a variety of video game systems and window base for a variety of console video game systems and Windows based computers.
And the thing that it was known for is basically the amount of cheats is able to load on or from a GameShark disk or cartridge onto the console's internal or external memory.
so that when the game is loaded, the selected cheats can be applied.
Imagine, for all my San Andreas players out there,
imagine that little notebook you had with all the cheats and shortcuts
and customizable codes to make your character whatever in San Andreas,
which is on one little cartridge.
That's basically what GameShark is.
And not only was it a evolutionary type of invention back then,
with over 4,000 preloaded codes,
it was saved on board a memory,
a flash memory,
and could be accessed later rather than having to be re-entered.
So it was a very nice little invention for gamers, I would say.
And obviously, I said the 1900s,
but it was more of around 1996
when it was originally released for the Sega Saturn
and Sony PlayStation consoles.
So obviously with being in the late 1990s, you will probably be wondering to yourself,
why in the world are you bringing this back up for us to talk about?
Well, that's a great question.
As I started off with, AI Shark is a new evolution of Game Shark,
which basically is to focus on providing AI-driven assistance to players in the form of
personalized hints rather than traditional cheats. So that's the biggest difference. And what they call
this is a software titled XGPT, which you know, for all my chat GPT people out there, you already know
what that means. So the technology will give you real time tensor processing units similar to the
PS5's game help system, which I've noticed the game help system actually is pretty helpful.
I know it's like, oh, I mean, duh, or obvious, but sometimes the game help don't be helpful.
Like, the game help would be like, oh, press start button to open up the main menu.
Like, that's it.
Like, it's not really more in detail than that.
But this is the actual very intricate software being implemented for the new age gamers.
And as you can see right now, I mean, Analytic Dreams video on Spotify to get the video along with the audio.
I'm playing basically their announcement video right here.
So this is the video they put out as far as a promotion.
All right.
Yeah, to basically have a launch teaser trailer.
Really it's like a teaser trailer more than anything.
I mean, it's only like two minutes long.
So anyways, the technology adapts to peripheral devices
and aims to provide a comfortable and innovative gaming experience.
And the biggest thing with that is, with the release to the plan release,
to coincide with the Nintendo Switch 2,
people are expecting a September launch,
though it is not officially confirmed by Nintendo.
And personally, I'm thinking,
why would any company try to accompany this
or even try to make this accessible
because isn't it basically promoting cheating from gamers?
But the way it's been said to me is like,
it's more of single game cheat codes,
which is why I brought up.
San Andreas. Obviously, you can use other systems, which I'm not going to say, to cheat on multi-player
games. But if you do that, then deep down, something has to be wrong with you to take the joy
from non-cheating players and just ruin their fun because that's essentially what you're doing,
ruining a lot of fun from other players or for other players simply for your want to cheat on
multi-player games. But that's not, I don't think that's the case here. I'm not, I'm not,
100% sure, but the biggest thing with this is that it's more of a helpful type of AI.
And obviously people can use it to cheat.
I mean, there's a lot of cheat accessories that you could put on your control.
I wouldn't even say cheat.
There's a lot of enhancement accessories you could put in your controller, which technically
isn't considered cheating.
But this in line is a very great area because obviously, I mean, they've been around since
1900s and they're known for cheating when I'm talking about game shark and the preloaded codes
is more of for popular games on consoles like Nintendo and PlayStation all the way back in
Nintendo 64 and PlayStation era uh sorry for Xbox you know people out there but and with them
rebranding to AI Shark I think that well I not I think they are saying that they are shifting
to a more traditional let me see if I can find this yeah
They said it was shifting focus from traditional cheats to AI-driven assistance for an involved gaming landscape.
And basically the founder of GameShark, Todd Hayes, is letting people know that the original GameShark's success and the redefining gaming on a global scale is the biggest emphasis as far as what they're trying to accomplish.
So a lot of people may not know about this, but for my gamers out there who wants to be in the know,
just know that the biggest thing for GameShark and the biggest asset they are trying to provide you
is that these cheat codes will be once again a significant part as AI driven systems rather than
regular already preloaded codes.
So more personalized hints without disrupting others' experience.
is AI hardware and software like AI sharks game controller will represent a trend in gaming industry basically
Using the evolution of AI everybody wants to talk about flying cars and you know where we should be in the future
This is basically what we're at in the modern day and
Modern day current time AI is the new flying cars like the evolution of AI is the new flying cars. So if you don't learn about the future or the way
the multiple ways you can use AI,
you would just ultimately fall behind the pack, you know?
So with GameShark, they recognize that.
They are making a reassurance.
And here I am, just letting you know,
because obviously if you're a gamer who are of the older variety,
I'm not trying to call you old, but, hey, you know,
if you was around the 1990s and, you know, hey, teach his own.
But anyways, just want to let you know
that your pristine company is coming back again to ever uh and it's evolved and to this thing called
a i shark so with that being said that's really all i have to say i mean it's really not too much to get
into an i i basically broke down all the news you need to know about it personally like i just said
i think it's a very fine line great area i mean hopefully it helps out with single player games
but you know inherently it's going to help out with multi-player games which you know if in
I'm not going to lie, I could ruin the experience of people who can't afford this type of software.
But at the end of the day, they do say that the way that you beat the competition, you know, it's by, I'm not going to say it's like pay to play, but you know, you just try to do anything necessary to win.
And it's just one of those things that could really push you to the next level.
So there's another point I was going to make.
Oh, yeah, it's almost like, this is what I would compare to.
It's almost like if you're a PC gamer, if you use game, I think it's called game stacks or whatever for mobile games, I think that's the biggest thing that I will compare this to.
It's like a tool, but it's not necessarily cheating.
You're just using a tool that's more superior than other people.
I think cheating is like aim bot, you know, aim assistance and all that stuff.
But, you know, if you're using a PC, then technically you have a better system for aiming, but it's not aiming for you, if that may be.
sense i don't know but you know i'd be interested to see what my real hardcore gamers out there think
about this new software because i do think this will probably change up a lot of uh scenes when it comes
to competitive play and just gaming as a whole so with that being said click my link through my bio
let me know on one of my social medias what do you think about game shark a company way back in the
late 1900s make it a reassertion in uh 2021 under the new name a i shark and as a gamer do you feel like this is cheating
or no.
Now, goodness gracious, if there was one thing to waste your money on,
we have another product at hand for all my gamers out there.
I mean, forget the whole stereotype, the stigma,
that gamers out here do not take care of the hygiene.
I mean, forget being top 20 and Super Smash Bros.
We got to talk about being bottom 20 when it comes to taking the shower.
Because ladies and gentlemen, as a gamer myself, I pride myself.
and taking care of my hygiene.
But of course, for my fellow counterparts, I cannot say the same.
I mean, it's been decades.
I mean, this perception is more than mainstream.
It is a get more mainstream than hygiene and gamer just not correlating at all.
Literally, the way that people look at gamers is that we take gaming so serious that
we don't even even think of the possibility of what soap and water does in a longevity of our human
form so with that being said of course this whole segment is over something that is attributed
to scent but it's more of a AI powered scent titled game scent yes you heard me correctly there is
literally a whole product out right now that cost about $150, maybe even more, that you could purchase
at major retailers such as Amazon, Walmart, Best Buy, and this is a game set, a game sent kit
that includes six-cent cartridges.
Now, for the people over at Analytic Dreams video on Spotify to get the video along with the audio,
you will see exactly what I'm talking about as they had a whole teaser trailer that kind of showcases what the use is of this product.
Basically, right now, all the scent options is one, gunfire, explosion, racing, clean air.
I mean, imagine not taking the shower so often.
that you need a scent for clean air because you don't even know what that could possibly smell like anymore in your natural habitat.
Then for the last two, we have ocean and forests.
So the sixth sense is gunfire explosion, racing, clean air, ocean, and forests.
And apparently there's even DLC options when it comes to this product as the upcoming sense is blood.
what in the doja cat sports arena that's kind of fire and fresh cut grass i don't know if y'all
smell fresh cut grass before it but if that's the scent that you're all willing to engage in and
doge simply for the fact that it comes in a form of a product while you're gaming then i'm not
going to lie i'm going to need y'all to click my link to my bio go all the way down to the bottom
and definitely support this with a little donation to my cash out because obviously y'all got money to blow i mean
$150 just to smell some fresh grass i mean it don't get any worse than that i mean at this point if this
product sells well which you know i'm not trying to kill the credibility of whoever the company is
putting out this game scent AI powered scent or whatever but i just want to tell y'all that
it's going to have very
significant damage to our reputation
if we are out here paying $150
for clean air.
Literally, the reason why
people look at games the way they do
is simply because the way we don't touch grass.
Now, there's an option to where you can buy
a scent that gives you the smell
of fresh cut grass.
I mean, at this point,
we might as well just,
though because we ain't never beaten the allegations but in all seriousness this device
let me stop the video right quick let me show you i brought up the little picture it has so
this is the box that comes in once again analytic dreams video on spotify to get the video along
with the audio but this is what the box looks like this is what the product looks like and then
this is just the different angles for the box you can pause if you want to just if you want to read
it but you can buy this now for 150 if that's something that you know you got the funds for
for um and yeah those are the six different sense obviously there's three more that's coming i don't
know when but they say there's upcoming sense and so that's what it looks like is a i power so they just
go off randomly by detecting you know where you are in your game uh here it's just the stuff
that comes with it okay so yeah that's basically it so that's the entire box and then a product so
basically what do i think about this right well it's not doing anything for our stigma that we
just don't take care of a hygiene.
Obviously, it's one of those things
so it's not to be taken too seriously.
I mean, it's just literally an AI system
basically corresponding to sense in real time
as far as the game you're playing.
And it's supposed to create a multi-sensory gaming experience.
I kid you now.
That's crazy.
So anyways, I already told you where you could get at Amazon, Walmart, Best Buy.
Obviously, this is not an ad
because I'm not advocating for this.
I mean, if you got to buy clean air and fresh cut grass,
maybe you actually just need to go outside.
Like, you know, this is a real thing in society.
It's where you go outside, you experience nature,
you get positive benefits from nature,
and then you go back indoors, and then you just do it again.
This whole mantra where we can just stay inside and play a game 24-7
and never go outside and touch grass or experience air.
I mean, obviously in, you know, Detroit, you know, it's probably hard to get clean air anyway because, you know, hey, y'all places like, I mean, imagine just gun smoke going off 24-7.
That's about as Detroit as you can get or Chicago.
And pick your poison.
So anyways, getting back into the product is aiming to create more exciting and memorable gaming experiences by associating sense with in-game actions, leveraging AI to analyze scenes and release.
these fitting sense instantly acknowledge as a unique accessory especially effective when
used with VR headsets I mean imagine putting on a VR headset to experience some fresh air
so anyways as far as the market availability is very expensive I would say and as you
can see it comes with like an app or whatever but it's a hundred fifty dollars so
To me, that just means you're wasting your money.
But to somebody who has it, which, you know, if you do have it,
then once again, click my link to my bio all the way to the bottom, you know,
bless a brother, you know what I'm saying?
You know what I'm saying?
You know, podcast's doing well, but, you know, an extra dollar wouldn't hurt, you know what I'm saying?
So anyways, that's basically what I wanted to do.
I just wanted to cover this for all my fellow gamers out there that, to let you
know that they literally release AI powered scent via game sent to let you know
what fresh cut grass.
Well, okay, that's the upcoming one.
So that's not included in that original thing.
But the clean air smells like.
They literally have something to let you know what clean air smells like.
And that's them doing God's work because obviously clean and gamer has no association whatsoever.
So with that being said, click my link to you in my bio.
Let me know on one of my social medias.
If you're a gamer, when's the last time you took?
a shower and if it's been more than two days please let me know why in the world do you
and so not get along no more now in all actuality this is honestly a sad time for all game
developers people associated with gaming companies because even though this particular
segment is about Sony, which just laid off approximately 900 employees worldwide, which constitutes
about 8% of the PlayStation division. The decision for these layoffs is not one that only
Sony is making. Obviously, throughout this year in general, like literally, we're only three
months into the year.
Studios like
Bossa Studios
Unity Software
who laid off about 1,800
people cutting nearly 25%
of his staff. Twitch
just laid off 500 employees.
Play Tika.
They laid off
400 employees. Discord
laid off around
17% of the company's
total staff.
Microsoft
laid
off 1900 employees across Xbox and Activision. I mean, Microsoft's is the most egregious.
If you all know Microsoft's net worth, I mean, compare all these studios, maybe, no, not even
epic. Let me not be disrespectful. Microsoft is the big dog as far as longevity and the money is
garnered. So for them to be laying off people, that's kind of insane. I mean, didn't they just
sound like a huge deal with Activision or?
it was some type of deal i forget what's called it was around one billion maybe it was no it was
it was activision who signed a deal with microsoft and they laid off so activation laid off people
but you know of course it's through microsoft as well so that okay so now now that makes sense
i'm like microsoft but microsoft is attached to activision so of course they laid off 1900
employees themselves so anyways and then epic games who laid off about 830 people this is
simply because of the economic conditions and not to sound like jaden smith but the global state
of the economy is and has to be talked about at this point in time because of course people are
going to look at the gaming industry making record breaking profits as far as last year but the
thing that you're not realizing is that the development costs are also breaking uh record
when it comes to the past.
So when you get into increasing development costs
and then factor that with unpredictability
when it comes to gaming,
now the whole industry is facing the harsh reality
that not everybody is going to have a fortnight
to keep them afloat.
So now with these increasing in development costs,
making everything look realer than life,
and the unpredictability of game sales.
I think personally, after doing a lot of research, of course,
that is the main reason for a lot of these layoffs.
They just bit more off that they could chew
and realize they had to make this up or make this back recoup somehow.
And this is the easiest way by cutting some of the workforce.
So, of course, people are going to say it's corporate greed.
But if you really follow the gaming industry,
You know that this has been a trend as far as the graphics getting better and better and better.
And now we're seeing a point where game developers or game budgets are just super outlandish and not even close to how much to bring them back as far as sales.
I mean, the reason why games went from 60 to 70 isn't just some coincidence.
They try to up it a little bit.
Obviously, it's not working.
And the deluxe editions, that's 150, you can say, oh, they up it that way.
But who really buys deluxe editions, let alone buy game win, it's originally released?
Some people wait to us on discount.
So with that being said, let's get back into specifically Sony.
As, of course, like I said, at the beginning of the segment, they laid off around 900 employees worldwide.
And the affected areas or regions, I might be, I might add, is, of course, across,
America, Europe, Japan, and Asia Pacific, as PlayStation Studios London Studio is set to close entirely.
Goodness.
And then the notable studios impacted include Insomnia Games, which of course is known for Spider-Man.
Let me not disrespect them.
They're known for a lot of things.
Ratched and Clank.
They have a lot of different titles.
Insomniq is really one of the greater developing studios.
Nottie Dog that I believe, and I'm doing this off memory, so I may get this wrong.
Nottie Dog made Last of Us in Uncharted, I believe.
I think they had both of those games.
Maybe I'm mistaken.
I think it was both of those.
Guerrilla games, I don't know what they made, Fire Sprite, and others.
And then, of course, you know, these type of layoffs have to be followed by some sort of CEO statement
because you can't just lay off people and not give them no reason.
So Jim Ryan, the president and CEO of Sony Interactive Entertainment, came out and said the difficulty of the decision, you know, express the difficulty of the decision and emphasized that there's charging the changing industry landscape basically to justify why they're laying off people.
And quote, they, well, not quote, but basically they are restructuring, I can't talk, restructuring.
yeah i definitely messed up that word
restructuring
all right there we go
operations
so
they basically let people know
they was laid off by email
um which is like a i guess
industry standard because you don't want nobody to like leak stuff
and you if you lay them off while they're there
they may like do some
irreversible damage or whatever
there's a reason why they kick people out
they don't tell you why you're in office they tell you why you're out
and if you're remote
then you end up like Rockstar
and get all your stuff leak
because if you let somebody off
which Rockstar also I think they lay people off
are they did they leap?
I think they want their workers to come back
to the main home base
instead of working remote.
So they say it's to limit leaks
but it's already been so many leaks
about GTA6 that at this point
you know I guess it's going to help out a little bit
but that's basically what you get
sometimes when you
go against some of your workers and rub them the wrong way.
They just start leaking stuff.
Now is it right?
Of course not.
But it's just a reality.
If they feel slighted because you lay them off, they're going to try to, well, some, not all, of course.
Some may try to get back at you in a malicious fashion.
So, that being said, London Studios is shut completely.
What else?
Of course, it's severance, benefits, things of that nature.
I mean, with Sony, of course, is a severance.
And they said, well, via the company, they came out with a joint statement saying that they are going to ensure the well-being of the affected individuals during this challenging period.
So whatever that means.
I know somebody's probably at home who used to work for Sony.
Like that was a, they line to my face.
Like I still, to this day, what Deonti Wilde said, to this day, I still ain't been taken care of.
So I know somebody probably feels some type of way with that.
statement that they put out uh what else okay so sony joined a whole bunch of other gaming giants
and in announcing layoffs apparently this is not the end like it's gonna be a lot of layoffs
throughout this year but uh this is one the biggest one of the bigger ones which is why i'm
reporting on it because if you don't know i mean sony's pretty big deal so uh let me see
so in totality over six uh six six six four hundred
gaming related roles have been eliminated in 2024.
Obviously, this goes back to what I started with.
Companies like Microsoft, Unity, Sony have announced layoffs, you know, in response to the market changes.
I mean, a lot of people could blame COVID, but at this point, I think it's a lot more to do with COVID.
I think COVID is a significant portion of the percentage as far as blame.
But I do think the development costs getting out of hand because of them trying to make everything
look realer than life is catching up with them.
Also, another tip bit.
I was listening to the Gaming Illuminati podcast,
and one of the guys they had on as a guest basically said that there's a reason
why Nintendo limits the software capabilities of the Switch,
and this is why, so they can make a profit.
Apparently, Nintendo is the only company that makes a profit from selling their consoles.
Not PlayStation, not Xbox, is only Nintendo.
It's because they limit the capabilities of their software,
so that the development costs aren't through the roof.
So basically the games where you see every follicle or hair follicle
and everything looking real-a-than-life,
those are the ones that are on the brink as far as not,
it's more of a possibility of them not recouping than a game like an animated game.
Or like this, yeah, like a Foam Starrs type game.
I think this is Foam-Stars type game,
which I was going to cover this game,
but people told me nobody cares about it.
I was like, okay, well, if y'all don't care, I'm not playing it.
So anyways, that was just a side note.
But just to wrap this up because, you know, I don't want to, it really is a sad topic
because a lot of people are losing their livelihood.
You know, they got to start from scratch and find another job.
So the overall impact of this is just the restructuring of the gaming industry is happening
right before our eyes.
And this is the main year where a lot of layoffs and restructuring are going to literally
reflect the broader trend.
in the gaming industry.
So as companies,
realign strategies
of resources to meet
the evolving market demands,
the challenge is being faced,
the companies trying to deliver
a high gaming quality experience
for the future
is a pivotal
objective to overcome
at 2024.
And we're just seeing a start of it
with them in these layoffs.
So with that being said,
click my link to you in my bio.
Let me know in one of my social medias.
What do you think about this whole?
sad scenario where every gaming company is re constructing its company by laying off a lot of people
and do you agree with it or if you don't what would you propose so that not as many people
have to get laid off before we get into the Pokemon trading card game pocket announcement
because the game that we all know and love,
which is the Pokemon card game that transition into the video game,
is now having a combination of both
as there's a new virtual card collecting game
via Pokemon trading card game Pocket.
Now, of course, before we get into that news,
unlike people at Nintendo, I am able to bring
up their competitor, which is the one and only power. Y'all just know, or y'all just knew, I wasn't
going to go a whole episode without bringing up the most impactful game launch ever, besides,
who was it, Dota? No, besides PubG. I think PubG was the top of all time. But anyways,
so why am I bringing them up? Well, currently, and I had to look this up, because, you know, I don't
like to do fake news around here so i looked it up and pub g obviously had the biggest all-time peak
with 3.2 but power world that came out this year had 2.1 which obviously put it at the top 5 maybe
top yeah top 2 so it was the second most impactful launch ever but currently there's 200,000
players currently but concurrently playing the game so a lot of people will say
that, oh, Power World fell off.
And obviously, this is a Pokemon segment,
so just give me a little bit.
I'm about to get through it.
But basically, just let people
just get a glimpse of what it means to fall off, right?
Because Power World, obviously, is far from falling off.
I mean, it's still in the top five.
Top one, two, three, four.
Yeah, it's literally fifth.
It's top five as far as concurrent players in the world.
But as of February 22nd,
it already has 15 million units and 10 million well it's made 15 million on PC via steam and it's made 10 million on Xbox sorry PlayStation players I guess I ain't got no games and I'm talking about myself so anyways um with that being said they've done all they needed to do as far as having a successful game right now they are just keeping the longevity of it as 200,000 concurrent players is more than enough to keep
but sustainable ecosystem.
So with that being said, obviously it didn't fall off.
It just had a record-breaking peak,
already made all the money in the world and then some.
So now it's just having a steady cash flow
that's just not at the peak that it once was at.
So anyways, before my Pokemon fanatics get irate at me,
let's get back into the reason why I'm even making this segment.
So with the video,
with the virtual card collecting game,
a lot of people started to compare this to an nft t type of ploy by Pokemon but in response because
this was a big concern by the public everybody was saying oh this is an NFT like why are they doing
this they already know that NFTs are fake why they trying to dabble into that market so it got
such traction that the Pokemon company came out well representative from the Pokemon company
clarified to Polygon, it was an article that, or not article, it's a company, that they have not, well, they have, quote, not developed or approved, end quote, any Pokemon NFTs.
Basically, to dispel the rumor that everybody thought this was a ploy to get into the NFT market.
So obviously, they came out and denied it.
And they said that any Pokemon related NFTs in the marketplace are deemed.
unofficial and not affiliated with the Pokemon company so basically it's just a game
right coming in 2024 as you see right here you know shout out to analytic
dreams video on Spotify to see the video along with the audio version but as far as
the overview the Pokemon trading game Pocket is more of a collaborative effort
by Pokemon company and DNA it's like D ENA so not like you know not to be
confused
DNA. But anyways, developers of Pokemon Masters EX. And basically this game is to emphasize digital
card collecting, introducing immersive cards that offer a unique experience of leaping into the
cards illustration. So something about the monetization part of it is not or has not been
disclosed yet, but this game is confirmed to be free to play or free to start, which is
it's interesting. It's interesting choice of words. Free to start is definitely not free to play,
but technically you could say Fortnite is free to start. So one could guess there's going to be
some type of micro transactions in this mobile game. I mean, mobile games and micro transactions go
hand in hand. Honestly, I think if it wasn't for micro transactions, mobile games wouldn't even be
popular. So anyways, allowing players to open two booster packs daily at no cost. So it's like,
that was to expound upon the free to start but it's set to launch 2024 on an ios
android oh yeah for ios and android what else there's some other things about the game i mean
personally i don't play mobile games i'm not going to lie to you if i'm out of out and about
the last thing like i could only because you know time is valuable i ain't going to lie playing the mobile
game to me would mean that I'm somewhere where I'm waiting. But I usually am not somewhere waiting
too often. Usually I'm going to a place for specific purpose and I come back. Like I'm not just going
somewhere just to hang out. You know what I mean? So I don't know. A card game via mobile is interesting
because obviously Marvel Snap is technically a card game, I think. And that's doing tremendous. So
for Pokemon to come out with this, after having...
having such an unrelated well unrelated to the card game having such a monumental game when it comes to
Pokemon Go which basically was a humongous imprint in itself as far as the evolution of
Pokemon Go took it to a whole other level as far as the IP so now with this new card game
that's obviously unrelated to Pokemon Go I think that it may influence digital collectible card games
But then that gets back into the notion of NFT because you know if something's collectible
It has perceived value, but it's not really valuable
Then what's the difference from it being an NFT?
But obviously that's why I've representative literally came out from the Pokemon company to dispel the whole going into the NFT type of lane
So I'll be interested to see what this traditional card game gone virtual ends up doing for Pokemon
I just think the biggest factor right now,
the biggest thing Nintendo can do,
obviously is just make a rip-off of Power World
because Power World was insanely inspired by Pokemon.
So if Pokemon came out with a game like Powerl,
which I still just, you know, people say like Turcane or whatever,
Turkoff is like a mix of Pokemon and Turkoff,
I say it's more of a mix off of Minecraft and Pokemon, but, you know, that's my own personal
reflection, well, that's my own personal review of the game. I think Pokemon could literally
make a Power World 2.0 and it will have a similar success arc like a Power World. Like if
Pokemon makes Power World 2.0, it will have a similar success. It will have a similar success.
it would have similar success
basically is what I'm trying to say
so anyways it's just a Pokemon
virtual card game
at the end of the day but I just wanted to let
all the gamers out there who play mobile games
to know
that Pokemon is coming out with a new
rendition of the IP
via a new virtual
card collecting game
so that being said click my link to my bio
let me know one of my social media is what do you think
about the Pokemon
IP going more in a virtual card collecting game type lane and do you think Pokemon would become
more impactful than Power World if they just made a Power World 2.0 now before we get into
the details of the Disney and Epic Games collaboration of course we have to start with the
teaser trailer which basically depicts what the future holds as far as this whole new
project is concerned.
So what we're going to do is,
well, for people over at my
podcast platform, make sure to
go to Analytic Dreams video on
Spotify to get
the video along with the audio.
So basically
we're going to watch the trailer. Then I'm going to get into
the news about everything
breaking down the whole Disney and Epic Games
collaboration. But first I want you to see
the teaser trailer right
here. Once again, Analytic
Dreams video on Spotify.
for the video along with the audio so anyways let's get right into it discover a place oh you got love the narration
we're magic this seems like such a spoof but this is actually from the from the actual account
like fortnight it's not a spoof it's like a real thing that they put out and the reason i'm saying it like
that is because this narration makes it seem so much like a parody but it's actually not like this is
real life. So anyways, let's keep going.
It's epic. All right, hold up.
You already know what I care about.
I love how to say Marvel and only show X-Men characters.
I think at this point in time, I mean, this is going to be a side tangent, but not too long.
I think at this point in time, Marvel just needs to go the Fox route, which is completely
focusing on X-Men characters and just forget about the Avengers phase and just basically
make the X-Men the new Avengers so that when the overall team-up movie happens, then we can
reset the universe and then get back into Avengers and X-Men being separate. Because if you're a
comic book reader, and this is my last take on this, is, you know, last thoughts on it, Marvel
never had great stories when it came to combining Avengers and X-Men. They've always did it
well separate it was like their own universes in itself so for them to collab in the comic books it
never really went over too well let me just put it like that so i think that they should obviously
focus on x-man characters which they technically are doing with deadpool and x-man and x-men the
the 97 1990 series or whatever but anyways that's just my little two cents on that so i think
they're going into the right direction completely focusing on x-man which is
makes it funny that only X-Men characters are in his trailer.
Oh, no, my do-go's Captain America.
Well, he doesn't count.
He's always around, technically.
I mean, that man never, I mean, they aged him up, but he really could never die, honestly.
And that is the depiction everybody's talking about right here.
Hold on.
I don't know how much of a clear look we're going to get.
Okay, that was basically it.
Let me see.
So right here is what everybody's talking about.
It even says most replayed in the trailer.
I like how YouTube has that feature.
Okay.
So basically, obviously you see in the top left ESPN Marvel, Lucasfilm, which, you know, it's the Disney brands.
And I mean, all of this is the Disney brands, but that's just more of the sports division, superheroes, Star Wars division.
Obviously in the middle.
I'm not too familiar with all of the IPs.
I do know next to the centerpiece.
That's the inside.
I don't even know how to say it.
I never watched the movie.
but the in and out the inside and outside whatever that movie is the popular movie that's the
tower for it and basically they're not making like a complete replica of disney world out of Orlando
of course because with video game technology well with video game imagery you could do way more so i
think it'll be just a much more expansive version of disney world just obviously for the video game
ecosystem. I mean, imagine having a two, I don't want to compare that.
Imagine having an open world where you're walking around in a more glorified
Disney world, if that makes sense. Like, everything you look at is Disney own and it reminds
you of Disney World, but just 10 times better because now it's animated to the point where
they can have, oh no, take more liberties when it comes to creativity.
So I just think this is a more enhanced version of Disney World that you're going to be experienced in a video game format.
So I think that's pretty cool, honestly.
Anyways, let's finish the teaser trailer.
And then there goes Disney, you know, flexing all of their brands.
You know what I mean?
I almost had to look up the definition of Monopoly.
You know what I mean?
All them brands, look at that.
Hold up.
I don't think I realized.
Look at all this.
Well, Marvel, Star Wars, Pixar, Avatar.
That's ridiculous.
If that ain't a monopoly, I don't know what it is.
But anyways, let's go back to the map.
That's the biggest thing to everybody was looking at.
All right.
So I'm just going to stop it right there.
Actually, I'm just going to let it play and just mute it.
That's what we're going to do.
So I'm just going to play it from the beginning.
All right.
So anyways, now that we watch the teaser trailer,
let's get into the overall tidbits of the Disney
Epic Games collaboration because obviously
it's a big deal.
I mean, if putting 1.5 billion
to acquire an equity stake in Epic Games isn't a big deal?
They don't know what it is because a billion dollars is a lot.
I don't know if that needs to be said.
Obviously not.
But for Disney, it may not seem like a lot because, you know, they basically print money at this point.
But they are in an interesting tidbit to where actually, let me go back to this.
So you see all these brands right here?
Marvel, everybody is saying it's falling off and they put them way too much, well, they have a way too,
much output to where the fans aren't really messing with any Marvel movies.
Star Wars, they say they completely messed up the next trilogy in the sense that
Finn or whatever, the black character was supposed to become a Jedi or whatever,
and that really made fans upset when he didn't.
I mean, obviously it's way more than that.
But Star Wars fans were not a fan of the new trilogy.
Let's just say that.
And then Pixar, I don't really know too much about that.
I think Pixar always does well.
Avatar, I think the last movie did.
well so those two brands are doing well so anyways uh but star wars marvel is one of those where
definitely could use some help when it comes to um just creativity and trying to find more
engaging a more engaging audience because a lot of people are just falling off of uh keeping up
with marvel and star wars simply for the fact that they just believe that disney just out here
just putting out cash grabs uh under the new
IP that they've acquired.
So with them putting stake into Epic is more of a collaboration to create a Fortnite
connected environment where they've already had a huge track record in making video games
using other people's IP and making them more intriguing to the masses.
I mean, how many times have you heard a little kid referred to a popular character
that's been around since the 90s or 80s as a Fortnite character?
Like, oh, that's so-and-so from Fortnite or that's so-and-so.
basically that's the musician from fortnight or that's the character the fighter from fortnight like no that's
that's uh goku from it from like years and decades and decades of of just content and they just
are referred to as fortnight characters now so for disney to put a whole stake well 1.5 billion um up as far as for
equity it makes sense because fortnight is really taking over the gaming industry in just the masses as a
whole. So, of course, this whole collaboration is built to make a world of Disney Plaza, which is
basically the digital space that includes themes from franchises like The Nightmare Before
Christmas, Cars, the Avengers, corporate logos for Disney Plus, like ESPN. I mean, you may
see Stephen A. Smith walking around. That's how crazy this collab may be. And then 20th century
studios, virtual Disney cruise ships, and recognizable characters like Group are featured. So,
There's a lot of things that you get when you acquire the license to be creative with Disney characters.
So I'm glad that Fortnite received it, even though a lot of people are just out there like, oh, here goes Disney ruining another brand.
I think Fortnite is such a polarizing and a, no, Fortnite is such a staple in the gaming industry in today's age that there's just no way that this collaboration would not work.
but obviously there's this room to be skeptical because Disney having huge IPs,
there's been track record of them messing it up.
So it's not like 100% surefire hit,
but I do think that Fortnite would be able to take over creatively enough to make this work,
if that makes sense.
So, of course, they imply that they're going to have a social, virtual,
tourism aspect, allowing users to hang out with friends and engage in various activities.
Once again, going back to the whole Disney world for a video game.
I really like the concept that they are going with as if they make this VR, like forget
video games for a second.
If they make this VR to where you just walk around the whole entire Disney world as a
character and you're experiencing other characters in real life, this could end up being the new
no really fortnight i mean fortnight is already big in itself so it's only competing against itself
this could be the new height or the new peak that fortnight sets for itself as far as uh standards
because the the possibilities are endless which is why a lot of people are skeptical because you know
there's also possibilities to mess it up but let's just try you know try to be positive and uh hope
that epic games of disney will figure out this uh disney world idea so anyways obviously i'm not going to
a dead horse but it is going to be a theme park style all encompassing entertainment experience
um the partnership would be a multi-year project aiming to combine disney stories with fortnight's
open uh world and and and turf i can't say that and ecosystem uh what else um that's basically it
i mean disney Pixar marvel star wars avatar i'm trying to see anything i missed
that's basically it i mean a lot of people not even talking about this collab which makes me
very uh very hesitant to say it's going to be like just the biggest thing since sliced bread
but to me personally i think this is going to be insanely popular like forget gta i could see this
having like a huge decade plus run as far as because they do say it's multi-year project but obviously
you can have extensions based on performance right so i think if they make this disney world
in the way that i think they're going to make it they could look at it
literally make this the biggest game ever.
I mean, you see this right here for people over at analytic dreams video.
I think this depiction is something to where you're going to be exploring this for the next 10 to 20 years to come.
And obviously, they're going to keep building upon it because it's just so much rich IP for Disney that you will want to just explore every crevice.
It's almost like a cyberpunk or a Final Fantasy.
see it's like a world in itself with so many characters that it just you want to keep exploring.
So I don't really see the downside of this.
And I think this is going to be a big deal when it eventually comes into fruition.
But obviously at the end of the day, this is just one big investment by Disney in terms to collaborate with Epic Games to hopefully make a groundbreaking interest.
entry into the gaming and metaverse space.
So only time will tell if this ends up being a successful investment or not.
But one thing I will say is that it would definitely offer Disney fans and not even Disney fans,
but video game fans and people who want to, yeah, basically video game fans, a unique experience.
And for VR people, a virtual experience with their favorite Disney franchises.
So with that being said, click my link tree in my bio.
Let me know one of my social medias.
What do you think about Disney's investment in the Epic Games?
1.5 billion investment into Epic Games.
And also, at the end of the day,
do you think that this whole collaboration
will end up making this one of the biggest games of all time?
It is time to dive into hell divers
because the reason why this game is such a phenomenon
in the gaming community is simply for the fact,
that FOMO is a real thing and it doesn't help the fact that FOMO, which is the fear of missing out, is a real thing as the developers, the developers for this specific game, Hell Divers 2, Arrowhead Game Studios, have temporarily capped the concurrent players count around, well, to around 450,000. So 450,000 is,
the cap for the amount of players are trying to let play the game at the same time currently i mean
to this day it's around 385 000 so i mean technically they're coming close to that peak
the all-time peak of course is 458 000 but it kept crashing a lot of people was reporting
that the actual game was not working for them as far as um um come
was as far as optimization it was crashing a lot for every console it wasn't just one it wasn't just
PC or Xbox because I don't think PlayStation has this is PlayStation have this game or does have
this game I'm thinking of power but hell divers of course it's the second most play game in the
world currently and I think that's because of the fear of missing out I'm not saying this is not
a great game but it's one of those multiplayer games and then if
the head it's like the what what's it called it's basically when you say one thing but it's like
the other it's almost like you're trying to oh reverse psychology that's what i'm trying to
so when the boss of hell divers two comes out and says that when says quote of course
i want you to play the game no no i of course want the game to be as profitable as possible
But if you spent your last dollar and got stuck in server cues, I'd be heartbroken.
I ain't going to lie to you.
That has to be studied at some type of university because the reverse psychology worked to the umpteat
degree because with this being the second most played game in the world currently, it's no surprise
that this game has been captivated in the masses because obviously there's a lot of trends in the
video game industry and to be a part of the top trends is harder than ever because games are
being put out at a rapid pace so with this whole aspect that hill divers too is being confirmed
to have cap player counts uh cues to get into the game which you don't know whenever you're
going to get into the game uh leaks of just people well not leaks but uh videos of people's game
just straight up crashing like i was remember i was
I remember I was watching one of my inspirations, the Black Hokage, playing the game.
And basically, the game crashed on him multiple times in like the first 30 minutes to an hour of him playing the game.
And so it's one of those things where the first impression for this game could be absolutely horrendous.
But I promise you, if you have a squad to play with, this game is a lot of fun when it comes to the multiplayer aspect.
because it's not PVP, it's PVE.
So it's basically literally just shooting, you know what, with your friends.
So with that being said, obviously there's a lot of other things to get into.
As Hell Divers 2 has experienced strong sales, of course, Arrowhead Game Studios basically
came out because of these sales and said that they are going to have a roadmap for future content.
And some of the content included like new weapons, vehicles, items with an expected announcement soon.
I think there's been leaks of vehicle gameplay, which, you know, technically it's a PVE game.
So I guess links are that detrimental to the actual overall content.
Because at least you know, Arrowhead Game Studios is making.
It's so funny it's called Arrowhead.
I mean, me just being, you know, a cover of, or not like sports, but me just, let's just say being around actual Arrowhead and Kansas City cheese, it's so funny that both Arrowhead companies got a tremendous dove in the same year, you know, because this is actually one of the more surprising feats from a video game to have this amount of concurrent players.
basically just be simply being a pve game but anyways let me get back on track so
it's been leaked vehicle gameplay which is a pvee game so i don't really think it's too detrimental
like people just want to know what's uh the next to come right so some of the things as far as
the game obviously i can't get too much into because i've never i haven't played the game myself
which i've thought about playing it but to be honest i think it's one of those type of games where
you have to play with the squad and that means matching up you know calendars schedules and you know
at this point in time um very hectic when it comes to schedules and and keeping that you know in a line
because if if you know anything about the let's just say college life is it's very sporadic
in your availability so anyways at some point i do want to get my hands on this game and uh try it out
myself but there's something else when they get into oh okay so the all-time peak for this game
i think already said that 458,000 um current player count is around 385,000 I think it could be higher
the all-time peak because they capped it at 450,000 and the all-time was 458,000 so they
capped it for a reason obviously and um they said they later raised it to 700,000
I think but they said due to server and stability the cap was reduced so basically it's still at 400 why they say that anyways um so yeah I think if the cap was was raised I think the all-time peak would be higher than it is currently but on the flip side well in the result of that the game would just crash for everybody so it's a good thing that they capped it to what they capped it to so what else so yes the second
most popular game right now only to only behind counter strike to counter strike two you know i don't know
what it is about that game i don't think i don't know if i've ever covered kind of strike but like that keeps a
strong uh player count like consistently like the all-time peak as far as the uh concurrent is like close
like it's like they almost are going to break the record every single day the way they uh their players to
stay on the game anyways um
what else anything else that was basically it i don't i don't want to like talk too much about
hell divers because i don't really have too much to say about the game i mean it's a good game um
pve if you just want to have fun with your friends i would not recommend playing this by yourself
at all so that's one thing i do want to say definitely have to have a squad at least two to three
people but um yeah that's basically it so i mean arrow game or arrowhead game studios y'all definitely
the dub i don't know if it's a championship uh super bowl type achievement like the like the real
arrowhead you know kansas city chief but you know hey at least it's something right so anyways
click my link to my bio let me know one of my social medias what do you think about hell divers too
and if you haven't played it yet will you be given this video game a try it is time to get into
one of the most important video games one of the best video games one of the best video
games. I mean, talking about the creation of
double R and it's not a Rose Royce.
In the game of role playing, in the game of
fantasy from software
directed by, I can't even say that,
Mazaki, yeah, I definitely missed up all that. But basically
written by George Double R. Martin.
I think that the old
ultimate conclusion you can come to by the creation of Elder Ring is that it's one of the best
video games of all time just simply put and as a result of that it ended up winning 2022's
game of the year from several publications i mean all type of publications came out and gave a
game of the year back in 2022 and deservedly so because it was no game
that was even competing in the realm of Eldering also one best game direction best art
direction best role playing game okay you get the point right enough of that so anyways with it
being two years old and after from software put out the video game last year which it was uh
armored core i believe that was a firm software creation so after putting that game out which
that was phenomenal in itself they were back again with a new game when not a new game a new game a new
new extension of their previous masterpiece, which they are calling Shadow of the Earth Tree.
Yes, Eldon Ring is getting D.L.C. titled Shadow of the Earth Tree.
And basically, the whole speculation around this, D.L.C.
is more of a continuation of the previous lore, of course,
but the Mesmere's relationship with characters,
Michaela and Molina added, well, has provided added anticipation for the DOC's release.
So I think Malina's brother, supposed to be in this or whatever.
I don't know everything about the, uh,
speculation but as far as the underground scene it's going to be a lot of exploration of that so it's going to be like a multi-level map
but you know just covering speculation and then of course players are going to have to defeat stark courage
star courage redan and mogue lord of blood and interact with the withered arm and mogen's palace man what type of nerd
is this. Anyway, speaking of nerd talk, I have the actual trailer pulled up right now. So make
sure to come over to Analytic Dreams video on Spotify to see the video along with the audio
as we're going to get into this video game trailer. And basically, you're going to be able to
see all the the nerd talk in 4K. Actually, not 4K, more like 8, 1080 people. But you get the point.
You know what I'm saying? You're going to see it in real time. So anyways, without further ado,
this is the shadow of earth tree trailer and what else oh yeah before i forget it'll probably say at the end
of this trailer but i do want to say this uh earlier um it's set to release on june 21st
2024 for a playstation 4 PlayStation 5 Xbox 1 Xbox series x and pc via steam of course so yeah that's basically
it so let's let's get into the trailer uh
official gameplay reveal hopefully it's not too loud i don't think it's too low ah here we go
pure and radiant he wields love to strive clean the hearts of men there is nothing more
terrifying in that forsaken place blood must spill blood of your fellows you are true
faithful you'll never think they just happen to be on the losing side of a war
I do like how they have actual gameplay in this trailer.
Like, they're not just trying to tease you.
They're actually showing you what it will look like.
I think they said that's Melania's brother.
Molina's brother right here.
Obviously, I don't know too much about the overall lore.
Like, obviously, I've played the game,
but, you know, it's kind of hard to remember everything they throw at you.
I mean, they'd be talking about what they say it took to access this DLC?
They say you have to visit
McKella's cocoon after defeating
MoG, Lord of Blood,
requiring progression in the base game.
Basically, you know, a lot of nerd talk.
So, forgive me if I don't remember everything.
But I do think that this is Malina's brother.
Oh, now was that new mage spell?
Hey, if y'all didn't know,
I made a mage bill.
Yes, I know all the magic and the use of magic
is out here being scrutinized
via the public.
But all I got to say is
your blood bills is way worse.
That's all I got to say.
You know, was it the bleed bills or whatever?
The way you cut somebody
and they overtime lose like half of their health
where you could just run around after you cut them.
I don't want to hear nothing about my mage bill.
But this right here is why I paused it.
This is actually kind of crazy.
I don't know if this is a new class or what,
but this was like an actual, like a...
This was like a Bruce Lee combination right here.
Not this.
So this right here.
Like what in the world was that?
That man gave him a whole Bruce Lee combination.
That was crazy.
Like it was just straight up just puts a galore.
I don't know if that's like a move as far as like something you can equip or if that's
an actual new class because I'm never seen any video where they was doing all that.
Like throwing hands like that.
It was just all, it wasn't too many kicks and flipping, dipping,
in any other classes, I don't think.
So I don't know if this is a new class or what.
By the way, that man put a switch on a crossbow.
The only thing I would say about these fantasy games is like,
your imagination has no limits because you can literally make anything
makes sense in these fantasy world type games.
So I'm not going to say it's cheating,
but it's like the restraints of what you can create
is non-existent in a fantasy game
so for other realism type games
it's hard to have stuff that competes
with this level of imagery
because it's not fantasy if that makes sense
it has to be in a real world
of that so I don't know I'm not trying to make a cop-out
for people who make real type
or realistic type games
as far as you know
the visual aspect is concerned but all I got to say is
You know, it's a lot of liberties being taken when you make a fantasy game that you can't really do when you make a game based in reality.
I look at this, like, what am I looking at? This may have an armor or not? I think, is that a tail? That's like, I honestly do not know what he, like, what is going on?
we meet again.
A little ink,
uh,
in credit scene or whatever.
So I'm thinking, right?
Because you have to progress a little bit into the story before the end game,
I'm hoping that this DLC gives you a new ending because the expectations is that it includes
10 new bosses.
So it's basically, I'm not going to lie.
It feels like it's a new game, which is why the $40 price tag that they have attached with
this doc is not too outlandish.
for the additional content that they're implementing because new weapons new spells
speculation of 10 new bosses um the introduction of mesmere um in other demi guys like it just seems like a
whole new game and it's it seems like it should end off with a new ending if that makes sense
like it should give you a new option as far as an ending um simply because of what this deal
can end up doing because I haven't beaten the game and I hope it's one of them
cyberpunk things where I've waited for the DLC to come out and I'm able to get a
whole new ending because for those who don't know I actually did end up beating
cyberpunk and I had the Phantom Liberty ending and I really enjoyed that ending
when I ended up you know you always go back and watch the other endings on
YouTube or whatever and I like the ending I had so I'm hoping this is the same
case where if you waited for the DLC you can get the DOC ending not saying
is automatically going to be better just saying it's an option if you want it so that being said
elden ring shadow of urge tree is set to release on june 21st 2024 for playstation 4 PlayStation 5 Xbox 1 Xbox
series x and pc via steam so click my link through my bio let me know one of my social media's what do you
think about elder ring shadow of earth tree coming out june 21st and do you think that elton ring is one of the
greatest games of all time now y'all gonna have to forgive me Xbox players because of my experience
in the gaming industry i will say i've never been the biggest fan of Final Fantasy not because of
quality-wise i just personally never had an interest in getting into the franchise so
the reason why i say y'all going to have to forgive me is because i literally looked this game up trying
It's numbers, statistics, you know, things of that nature to compare it to the other games in the industry currently.
And guess what I found out?
I don't know why I didn't already know this because I've seen it many times, but I guess it just went, you know, it just went over my head, basically.
But Final Fantasy is only available on PlayStation.
So when I went to go look at the top sales as far as Steam, Xbox, and PlayStation, I was like, dang, PlayStation players, they really like this game.
know it's really apparent that only PlayStation players really love this game come to find out
that's the only platform that is on which you know currently you would think that would be obvious
but I totally forgot so anyways after spending a total two minutes on strictly my ignorance
let's get into the overview of this segment which is basically the review roundup of Final Fantasy
7 rebirth because of course it's received widespread acclaim from critics simply for the fact that
It is a remaster, but the difference between this and other remasters is that the gameplay, the core gameplay mechanics is vastly different.
Whereas a Final Fantasy, no, a resonant evil game, which is remade could be the exact same with updated graphics.
This game is a lot different because the term-based setting from the original 1990.
game I think it came out like 1997 is more of an action adventure like this right here
as you see um analytic dreams video on spotify to see the video along with the audio but basically
you can see right here that is not what the original game looked like all of this swimming around
like look they out here swimming uh fighting people like it's just an open world like god of war type
game like the original game they came out in the 90s was more of a turn base well
not more of it was strictly a turn-based game and so as you can see here it has some elements of that
but it's more action well it's more semi open world action adventure than the previous installment so
with the title now being rebirth it makes even more sense because they took i'm not going to spoil
anything but it took some liberties with the story let's just say that to make it fresh and new
for people who have already played this story all the way back in the 90s so for both
Fans, the newcomer and the longstanding Final Fantasy fans, they will probably enjoy this game a lot more as the rebirth title is a real thing.
It's not just a word they use just for publicity.
They're actually taking some liberties with their original storyline and changing it up a little bit.
So anyways, as far as the game, right, Final Fantasy 7 rebirth only out on PS5.
So, you know, all that analytics and stuff that was looking for.
as far as Steam and Xbox, it just was non-existent because I totally just didn't cross my mind
that it was a PlayStation exclusive.
So of course, the developers of Square Enix, this game came out February 29th, and currently
the price point is at 70.
So the biggest thing is that the director, Nike Hamaguchi?
I don't know if I said that right.
I probably didn't.
But anyways, the director came out and said he's working on updates, including enhancements
to the 60 frames per second performance mode and addressing 30.
facial lighting issues and basically said that the game also um it was something else he said
the v gc Jordan is that an article you know another I don't know yeah oh okay is the
review roundup okay I forgot the you got the overall point of the segment I forgot I'm
about to get into reviews in the segment but but anyways so yeah the director said
that his main focus is basically enhancing the 60 frames
per second performance mode um what else it was something else i wanted to get into before the review
round up oh okay yeah this is what okay so the studio which is square enix is actively working
on an update to improve graphics which is also performance mode so i don't know why this is such a
focus i didn't really hear too much as far as like the optimize um how the game is unoptimized
like i didn't really hear that too often so for them to be focusing on performance
mode, it seems like it's not, I'm not going to say it's not needed because obviously, you know,
I guess there's always something you could fix with a video game. But as far as specific improvements,
it just said, it said performance in a way that made it seem like it came out like a buggy mess,
which is far from the case. This is an actual polished game that came out on, um, on PlayStation,
which, you know, for some other exclusives, you know, if you listen to the podcast, you know,
I'm a humongous Spider-Man fan.
And let's just say that game was more than Bucky.
Like, the way that Star Wars was criticized for the optimization of that game,
not being there, basically breaking down on every single platform,
I think Spider-Man should have got the same level of itchral.
But since it was Spider-Man, it really just flew under the radar.
Let me chill.
Anyways, so, yeah, I think that as far as this game is very polished,
but it was something else I was wanting to get into oh yeah okay so let's get
into the review roundup let me see if I can find this right quick okay so this is
the review roundup so as you can see we have a lot of different publications
given their scores and for a game spot starting with the one who made this
article it gave Final Fantasy rebirth an 8 out of 10 and I'm gonna zoom in so
y'all can read it once again analytic dreams video on Spotify to see the video
along with the audio but basically as you can see everybody has a lot of good things to say about
this game uh game spot basically said one of the strongest legacies in the medium um or as far as
living up to one of the strongest legacies in a medium uh inverse i don't know who that is games radar
gave it a 4.5 at a 5 saying that rebirth delivers all the charm of remake while making the needed improvements
content to ensure the original step-out moment is worth taking once more.
And then IGN gave it a 90 out of 100 saying Final Fantasy 7 rebirth impressively
builds off of what remake set in motion both as a best-in-class build, best-in-class action,
RPG, full of exciting challenges and awe-inspiring recreation of a world that has meant
so much to so many for so long.
And then Game Informer gave it an 8.5 out of 10.
Eurogamer gave it a 4 out of 5.
So basically everybody's praising this game, right?
So that's a whole thing about the overview
is just trying to give you a glimpse
to what people are saying about it
and just letting you know that the game ultimately
is and had a successful launch
as far as on the PlayStation platform.
As I went to the top 10 games in the country
and basically it's in the top three.
Now, it would be number one, but there's these games called Hell Divers 2 and Fortnite,
which, you know, multi-player games is hard to beat out when you're talking about popularity.
Because even though it just launched, so its numbers should be the strongest,
multiplayer games just have a lot more opportunity in space to be more popular.
Because only one game, only one person can play Final Fantasy at a time, right?
But for Hell Divers, for Fortnite, you can play with your friends that makes the time pass by even,
quicker whereas some people really just don't like single player games because they like playing
with other people so anyways um what else that's basically it i'm not going to drag this on too
long basically i just want to give you the overview of final fantasy seven just let you know that
it was a exceptional launch definitely a candidate uh well it will most definitely be a candidate
for uh game of the year but as far as for y'all you know only
only time would tell to see how the public actually resonates with this rebirth so anyways
click my leg tree in my bio let me know on one of my social medias what do you think about final
fantasy 7 rebirth and at the end of the day when it comes to final fantasy which installment in the
long-standing franchise is your now if fighting games was in a drought i wouldn't be able to tell because
currently, I would say, you know, excluding MK1, although the fighting games have lived up to its
launch.
Let's just say that.
And as a fighting game connoisseur, I would say that my card as being a fighting gamer or just
a gamer that enjoys the fighting genre has to be revoked for the foreseeable future simply
because I did not think that Tekken was going to end up being this good. Now, I'm not the biggest
Tekin person, even though I did grow up playing Tekin against my dad. And being younger,
obviously Tekin was the go-to because if you don't know, Water Kombat was not for little kids.
So Tekken was my go-to fighting game and Street Fighter. So Motor Kombat then come to later down the
line and then I enjoyed that more than the other fighting games that I've seen on the market.
So to be in 2024 and have TechN8 be arguably the best fighting game that came out between
Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat definitely surprised me to the point where I was like,
okay, well, I have to give it some type of review because I looked at my podcast and I was like,
how are you such a fake gamer to not have even touched on taken at least once so so all my fighting
game to all my fighting gamers out there you know sincerely apologize but here is my overall
thoughts about tech and a and of course a review roundup for those who want like more of
an overview of the video game because that's also going to serve that's also what I'm going
to have in this segment as a lot of the review
views let you know that this game was not going to be a normal tech and release as our IGN came
out gave in a nine out of 10 Metacritic gave it a 90 out of 100 PC gamer gave it an 89 out of 100
Euro gamer gave it a 5 out of 5 game informer gave it an 8.3 out of 10 so you kind of see a pattern
all of these critics came out and basically said that the game is a very well-made
experience as far as the tech and community.
And I think the biggest thing with the reviews being
positive is that it's more of a powerhouse in the series
in the sense that it may be one of the greatest teching games ever made.
And to me, when I was hearing that, I was like, there's no way.
But then they talked about all this stuff in the game.
Like there's a thing called the AI Ghosts where literally
you play the game a certain amount of after playing the game a certain amount there's a whole copy
of your play style and you can literally play yourself and it will fight like you and before you
you know dismiss it and be like oh that just sounds like a gimmick i've seen it i've watched it from
current streamers that i enjoy watching and literally it does mistakes that they've made in the past
and it does the strings that they usually do in a match.
So it really mimics through your play style and it uses AI.
And you already know the evolution of AI has led to a lot of advancements as far as
what used to be harder to come across.
So now with the whole AI ghosting you fighting yourself, that's probably one of the
biggest things I've seen as far as the evolution in the gaming industry.
Well, the fighting game industry because this is other thing.
where you can literally, like you're in the league,
like you're in the National Basketball Association,
you can watch film on yourself and pause and literally start the match from that point
and correct your mistake.
So let's say you fight a person online and then you go back and watch film,
you can start from that specific point and fight again.
And the AI will help walk you through what you,
what mistakes you made to come on top for next time so it's just a lot of details that makes the game
and you kind of see it on the screen right now it's more of like the tutorial mode so it's not like
the exact replication but um and also and the league dreams video to see the video along with the audio
but basically the way that this is structured the way that they put so much detail into the online
mode because once again I would say that being able to have private lobbies were you fighting with
your friends that's one of the biggest things in a fighting game that should be had at launch.
I'm looking exactly at you, Nether Realm and Mortal Kombat 1.
Russian got an online mode that didn't even have private lobbies.
And I know a lot of people may say King of the Hill, but as we all know, King of the Hill is not the
same as just having a regular private lobby with your friends so anyways um some of the other things
we got into as far as a tech and eight is you know there's patch notes as far as platforms there is
crossplay um the game is on ps5 Xbox series X and S PC via steam full cross play support across
PlayStation Xbox and PC platforms and the game story mode consists of like
15 chapters taken approximately two hours to beat.
That's crazy.
That story mode is super short.
But yeah, there's a single player mode that allows instant activation of certain attacks and techniques.
Blocking mechanics explained.
Oh, they're just talking about like regular need to know stuff.
And then release information.
It came out.
Okay, so it came out January 26, 2024.
I've already said the platforms is available on.
What else?
the base roster features 32 characters goodness with eddie gordo confirmed as the first
d lc character i think eddie's the one they'd be dancing around right that's interesting
he wasn't in a base game but also another thing i don't know if it's just me but
wasn't there an old man that was literally the main antagonist of teckin where's he at
that's how you know i ain't been playing teckin for a minute because i'm like what in the
Like, isn't he like the main figurehead?
That's like not having Scorpion in the game, right?
Or am I tripping?
So anyways, Kyle, but remember it was like an old dude who used to whip up on the suns or whatever.
And he's not even in this game at all.
So I must be missing something.
But maybe he's coming later.
Like, you know how a street fighter is doing with Akuma, which to this day, Akuma is still not in Street Fighter.
But he's supposed to be coming at some point.
But the old guy for Tekken, maybe they're doing the same marking strategy and putting him in later.
so anyways um there's paid items micro transactions coming a lot of fans of tecan have uh express
disinterest in micro transactions but it's more uh cosmetic so i mean if you don't like it then don't buy it
um what else there's free and paid items in the tecan shop anti cheat measures like always
let me see what else yeah so that's basically it oh the will
an update so there was a patch that happened not too long ago um that includes character
customization features and the dresses cheating and multiplayer and various bug fixes boundless changes
across specific characters in general moves and modes so you know the the usual when it comes
to patch notes and fighting games um yeah that's basically it uh the overview you need to know is that
tecinate it may be the best installment in the series in
I haven't played the game, but just hearing, you know, a consensus of reviews,
um, listening to why they say that, because I always, you know, I don't just listen to just, you know,
random words, you know, I try to see what's actually in the game because you can say,
all you want about a game, but the game is the game.
Like, you're going to be able to see what's actually facts and what's fiction.
And what you see is a very polished, uh, fighting game overall to the point where,
I'm not mad at all these claims that may be the best tech in the series.
So at the end at the end of day, I think I will.
Actually, I'm probably not going to give this a try because that yeah, this guy right here.
Hold up.
It just showed him.
So this old man right here, what happened to him?
I ain't going to lie.
All right, that's what we're doing.
So click my link to share in my bio.
Let me know.
Click my link to share in my bio.
Let me know one of my social medias.
who is like where is this man at like is he dead like why is he not the face of this game anymore
like i remember this old man being like the figurehead he's like the akuma of teckin i know all the teckin
connoisseurs out there is probably have you know obvious answer that they're screaming at the screen
right now but for me i'm just ignorant so where is this man at so anyways that's why i'm gonna leave it off
on so anyways click my link to my bio let me know one of my social medias what do you think about
the overview of Tekken as far as reviews being positive. And if you've played Tekken, if you play
Tekken 8, what is your favorite part about the game? Now, being a coverer of hip hop and gaming
is always great that whenever I get into the beef section of the episode that I can implement
a little gaming into my topics. Because let me tell you something. Usually, the beef in hip hop
versus the beef and gaming.
It's a little different as far as cultures.
Let me just put it like that.
I feel like the,
so I don't know if the word is severity.
The beef when it comes to hip hop is more intense than gaming.
So the beef that I'm getting into currently for this particular topic
is basically Hector H3CZ,
Rodriguez, CEO of Optic Gaming, and retired player Seth Scump, are suing Activision, Blizzard,
over alleged monopolistic practices related to the Call of Duty e-Sports League.
So, of course, when you hear that, you're probably like,
what in the world does this have to do with me?
Because this is just basically the e-sports industry and the future of e-sports.
which I'm not even a part of
but for the people who are a part of them
are a part of that community
I just want to let you know that I got you covered
because we're going to break down
everything involved
as far as this lawsuit
so basically
they're seeking $680 million
dollars in damages you see how quick
their turn now people are interested like
how much are they wanting
yeah 680 million in damages
so basically safe to say
that they're coming for the bag
basically these guys are claiming Activision blizzards literally quote so this is a
quote unlawful 100% monopoly in quote forced ruinous I even say that partnerships on teams so
basically the unlawful 100% monopoly force ruinous partnerships on teams and
Activision Blizzard apparently has transformed the competitive
of Call of Duty scene by introducing the Call of Duty League CDL all the way back in 2019.
And what this did was replace the open structure with one annual tournament limited to 12
teams with multi-million dollar franchising fees. Also for the video for for the video version,
come over to the Analytics Dreams video on Spotify to see the video along with the audio.
Basically I have some scump game play right.
now you know it's a little throwback i mean as you can tell but i just wanted to play a little
skump gameplay is basically his compilation of historic moments just to see uh who the player is behind
the lawsuit and that's him right there this the scump so anyways um let's keep going so the terms
and conditions for the teams is basically franchise slots costing about 27.5 million so just like the
NBA. I guess Activision came through, set a lot of guidelines, rules, a cap to the salary,
you know, things of that nature that usually happens in a competitive league. And they said that
teams had to pass 50% of merchandise and ticket sales revenue to Activision Blizzard.
And exclusive rights for sponsorships with lucrative partners were granted to Activision Blizzard.
Teams and players were prohibited from participating in non-league tournaments, limiting
individual sponsorships. So you can see where the problems are starting to arise. Also, players back
in 2020 had to sign agreements without legal counsel review, risking removal from their teams
days before the league and started. Activision Blizzard allegedly restricted players from securing
their own sponsorships. So you can see how if you was a player in e-sports under college,
duty you would be pretty upset so anyways so the current negotiations with the team owners was basically
microsoft coming through and negotiating changes to provide team owners with a greater share of
revenue and the owners are seeking a larger cut of virtual merchandise sales and a fewer
and fewer sponsorship restrictions so even though as a whole esports is facing a lot of challenges
when it comes to monetarily because it's a lot of lower than expected audience turnouts
and this is not just me saying that it's me just doing my research and seeing what came about
from that research and basically they said that because of this it also resulted in reduced
sponsorship revenue so now Microsoft acquired Activision Blizzard in October 2023 leading to a bunch of
changes in the gaming business including layoffs and titles on rival consoles so of course they
came through and was like hey y'all are not profitable as you once were let us come through and
straighten things out for you and herein lies the problem so now active vision literally had to come out
themselves as a company and because of facing these uh facing this lawsuit from Rodriguez from
uh h well that's his nickname h3 c z
the CEO of Optic Gaming and then retired player Seth Skump.
Now they're starting to gain more validity as far as support from the from the
player base.
So now Activision had to come out themselves and basically give their response.
And they ended up saying that they denied, well, basically Activision Blizzard has denied
the allegations and the spokesperson basically said Rodriguez demanded tens of millions.
to avoid litigation.
And so the impact, if you're wondering,
the overall impact of this whole lawsuit is that Activision Blizzard
definitely outsourced a new version of Overwatch League to ESL,
face it, group.
And let me see.
Yeah, so College Duty team owners reportedly
face fewer frustrations than Overwatch owners.
And I think that overall,
the basis of,
this lawsuit that you need to know is that Activision Blizzard basically came through and what is claimed in a lawsuit
exploited a lot of different areas monetarily. So now it forced participants into alleged oppressive terms
in market exclusion. So now the absence of a collective bargaining agreement and Activision's
ownership contributed to an unequal revenue sharing term. So that's the basis of everything.
you need to know about this whole lawsuit that started off with scump and hector so at the end of the day
the future is interesting because activation blizzard definitely has to make some type of a solid defense
as this lawsuit is just not going to go away but it does cast an uncertainty over the call of duty
league in the future basically emphasizing the legal battles impact on the esports landscape
And not only that, but they said that a victory for players could have implications far beyond the Call of Duty League as these are common practices across the e-sports industry.
And they said that it's very important for Activision to end up winning this lawsuit for the companies.
So it's like companies versus the workers basically at this point.
And Activision said that it was strongly, this is literally, this is a quote.
Activision said that it will, quote, strongly defend against these claims which have no basis in fact or law, end quote.
So, yeah, it's a pretty big deal.
At the end of the day, I'm not too in touch or in tune with the e-sports field.
Obviously, I've heard scump before, but literally I heard scump through like an RDC stream,
so that should let you know how much of an e-sports fan I am.
I'm really not too much in the know.
I would feel like I'm more in tune personally with the fighting game community,
and that's only because, like, Sonic Fox and all the people, like something,
Grandpa is like one of those people.
You can tell I'm not the most in tune with the e-sport.
So with this covers, you know it's coming from a place of just trying to get the information out there
in a concise manner that y'all can make your own decisions,
because I'm not trying to sway you one way or the other,
because I don't know who's in the right.
I've looked at e-sports.
I've heard about the overall field from veteran gamers.
And basically, they say that e-sports itself is not a profitable business.
But on other hand, you see the winners who win these big tournaments get paid millions of dollars.
And now the owners won a bigger cut.
So I'm confused.
Gamers are telling me e-sports doesn't make a lot of money.
Owners are wanting a bigger cut.
So I'm completely out of the loop when it comes to giving my own personal opinion on which side is fair.
You know?
So despite these exploitation or these player exploitation claims, I would say that the people who are making this lawsuit against Activision Blizzard,
hopefully they have their ducks in a row, which is a, you know, a little old metaphor.
Is it a metaphor?
An old saying for you as with Activision.
vision coming out the way that they're coming out this is going to have huge implications on the
future of the e-sports industry because let me tell you something they actually end up winning
then e-sports are going to have to make a lot of different claims when it comes to the overall
model to how they compensate players in their league so that being said that's basically it
um yeah so optic gaming
To conclude, Optic Gaming is basically giving a lawsuit against Activision Reveal,
revealing that allegedly the Call of Duty League's unfair revenue split,
and they hope for more equitable e-sports model.
So if you don't get anything out of this segment,
that's what I'm going to leave you with,
because that's the basis of this entire argument.
So with that being said, click my link to your in my bio.
Let me know in one of my social media is,
what do you think about Optic Gaming versus Activism?
Blizzard and at the end of the day for my e-sports gamers out there which side are you on
do you believe Activision Blizzard is in the right or are you siding with optic
gaming and the players as far as the overall e-sports model is concerned to New York City
and I lived with Sean Puffy Combs for a year that's the crazy thing now that was
LA Reid's idea right we're sending you over to something called puffy flavor
camp. There you go. To learn some... Labor camp.
Yeah, that's what it was called. And you're going to go to Puff Daddies.
In the 90s. Do you understand what that's like?
Puffy's place was like just filled with chicks and orging like nonstop, right?
No, not really. I mean, but, hey, it was curious. I got a chance to see some things.
Yeah, but you were 13. What were you seeing? I went there to see the lifestyle.
Right. I wish I had to drop.
Did Drusky drop when he says, what do you mean by that? Because that's exactly what I'm thinking
currently. And I saw
it. But I don't know
if I could indulge and understand what
I was even looking at. It was
so nobody tried to
you know some woman didn't come
along. I didn't say it. Okay.
What I did say is that
there were very curious things taking place
and I didn't necessarily understand
Biggie Smalls was there. Biggie Smalls
was there. Little Kim
Craig Mack.
All these people are hanging around. Yeah,
man, Faith Evans.
And your parents were okay.
They ain't nothing about this shit.
Oh.
I was having a good time.
You know what I mean?
This is very interesting dialogue going on right here.
I mean, to keep you humble somewhat, or are you just like, can you stay up to 4 in the morning with them and party?
I mean, I could.
I actually stayed up longer than them.
And do you have money?
What's going on?
I mean, I had like, per damn.
I had like, you know, like a living.
Yeah, it's pretty crazy.
Yeah, pretty crazy.
Pretty crazy.
I ain't going to lie.
We're going to stop it right there.
Because honestly, this is pretty interesting because I'm not going to lie to you.
There's a lot of things in society that we've been covering nonstop.
But there's one thing that keeps consistently being brought up is Diddy and these allegations.
Now, of course, as you just heard from Usher, Diddy was in the midst of a lot of superstars and maybe impactful.
and creating these superstars.
So basically, all I want to say is,
there's a lot of things that Diddy is in a mix of.
And one of the biggest ones,
one of the biggest things that a lot of people is focusing on is the sexuality.
But I'm focused on a lot of other stuff besides that.
Because, you know, in hip hop, I've said this before,
but there's a lot of things that hip hop perpetuates that people just let go.
You know, just let come and go as it please.
you know as far as uh gun violence you know uh misogyny drug usage but let somebody even have a possibility
of them being gay i mean even a one per like a one percent chance of them being not straight
then all you know what will will break loose as far as the hip-hop fan base is concerned so now
When people are coming out, aka a former producer, Little Rod, and talking about how he filed a sexual, no, not had, he definitely filed a sexual assault lawsuit against Diddy, which the whole lawsuit, you know, I have to say allegedly, just seems completely fabricated and made up.
But everybody's just taking it and having jokes with it.
But you know one person who's not smiling or laughing is the guy who is connected to having Batman-like attempts on his opposition.
Let's just put it like that.
I mean, RIP to Kid Cuddy's car.
Let me just leave it like that.
Was it Kid Cuddy?
Yeah, I think it was Kid Cuddy.
Or Frank Ocean.
It was one of them.
Just look up blown up car ditty and it would pop up.
It's literally crazy the way this man gets away with stuff.
But anyways, let's just get into.
the crux of the information, right?
Because Little Rod, who was a former producer,
basically alleged sexual harassment from Diddy,
threatening behavior by Diddy,
during the collaboration on the album, Love.
And Diddy's chief of staff, Justin Combs,
Diddy's son, and industry figures like Lucian Grange
and Ethiopian, something,
are also named as defendants.
So Little Rod is seen.
seeking 30 million in damages.
So I think after the whole Cassie situation that we could all say now, it was probably true because Diddy, I mean allegedly, you know, allegedly, goodness.
Because Diddy obviously came out and settled less than 48 hours after Cassie made her claims.
All of these other claims that are coming out, Diddy say he's going to fight to the, I think he put out a statement.
Let me see.
if I could find his statement.
Did he put out a statement basically saying that he's not
bowing down to none of these requests
and he's basically going to fight it with his lawyers.
Obviously, I'm saying it in a way that he didn't say,
but trying to see what the actual statement.
There was an actual statement.
I don't know if it's on his Instagram.
Hold on.
I'm going to see if I can find it because this is pretty important
because, I mean, people say Diddy is a wild boy,
but, you know, as long as he's not breaking no laws,
which obviously it seems like,
You know, even that's not the case at this point.
Ah, here we go.
Enough is enough.
This is exactly what I was looking for.
Okay.
Let me bring this over right quick.
Oh, also, I think I forgot to say,
Analytic Dreams video on Spotify to see the video along with the audio.
Anyways, Diddy had enough, literally.
He said, quote, enough is enough.
And this is from the official Diddy Instagram account.
This man said for the last couple of weeks,
I have sat silently and watched people try to,
to assassinate my character, destroy my reputation, and my legacy. Sickening allegations
have been made against me by individuals looking for a quick payday. Let me be absolutely clear.
I did not do any of the awful things being alleged.
I will fight for my name, my family, and for the truth.
Signed, Sean Diddy Combs.
If that's not an Avengers level speech right there, I don't know what it is,
because this man is basically saying everybody who's coming after.
him best believe he's not going down false the way he did for Cassie so anyways let's get into
the situation with this and this claim by little rod seems false and even more fabricated by
the day people are coming out claim it and you know people are not really on ditty side right
now but even with this lawsuit people started to come out like okay now like y'all are tripping now like
basically to coming out be like nah he's he's definitely uh just making up stuff is not factual like
they're saying that little rod's lawsuit is literally just made up for the uh attempt on getting a bag
like all these other people trying to us sue ditty are doing so not to say all of them are fake
but they said that this one specifically like a lot of people came out because you know at this
point in time who's really speaking up for ditty people are just not trying to speak against ditty it's
like a difference so anyways people came out and it was like nah little little
rods making up stuff and um yeah uh ditty's attorney Sean Hawley literally came out and denied the
allegations I mean of course she's going to deny I imagine imagine imagine a lawyer coming out like now he
did that like that's crazy I told him stop wilding and you know he didn't so like imagine your lawyer
coming out saying that but anyways uh did he's attorney Sean Hawley basically came out and
denied the allegations calling little rods calling little rod a liar and stating they have
have indisputable proof against the claims one of the facts that they put out to
to dispute the claims like publicly not in the court of law but publicly was one of
the ladies that he said was underage and the lawsuit basically came out herself
and she was like 30 or 40 I don't want to be disrespectful but she was older
to the point where she said the event that he was talking about happened at a
certain date to where she was like 35 she would have been like 25 something
like that I don't know basically she cleared it up herself but
So in the timelines matched up.
So that was already one, one little incident where he was just blatantly lying because the timelines matched up and everything.
It wasn't like, you could say, oh, she's covering for him, but people did the research, looked up her age.
The date that the lawsuit claimed to happen, it was like, oh, she's just factually overaged at that point.
And the lawsuit says she's underage.
So that was one lie already exposed during the lawsuit.
But what else?
everybody already knows the previous legal challenges that Diddy is currently facing.
I mean, the R word, sex trafficking, domestic violence.
I mean, you name it.
They are coming after Diddy.
And it's one of those things where multiple women have come forward.
Not even talking about Little Rod anymore.
I just had to dispel that lawsuit because that was just straight up.
Like that was literally jokes.
Like the biggest thing to come out of that was Meek Mill sexuality being in question.
That was the only thing that the lawsuit even got traction for.
It's nothing factual.
It's just straight up used for jokes and to make comedy.
You know what I mean?
So anyways, multiple women have come forward with lawsuits against Diddy,
accusing him of sexual crimes.
We don't know the validity of those,
but we definitely have to take those seriously
because of what happened with Cassie, right?
So the Little Rod lawsuit is,
I'm not going to say completely fabricated,
but at this point, it just seems like,
it's like 99.9% fabricated.
Like a lot of people are coming out
in the defense of Diddy in that specific lawsuit.
Not the other ones, that specific lawsuit.
They basically said,
Little Rod is just out here blatantly lying
on Diddy's name.
So anyways,
and basically the attorney for Little Rod
is the same person who was,
no, it's talking about a Diddy's attorney.
Oh, okay, yeah,
the Diddy,
Diddy's attorney is the same person that was for Torrey Lane's at first that told him to take a plea before he went to trial and ended up losing again 10 years.
Yeah, that person that Tori Lane's fired, which he should have listened to, is representing Diddy.
So she's pretty popular amongst her field.
What else?
That's basically it.
I'm not going to beat a dead horse too much because this is really insane.
Like the amount of people coming after Diddy, like he's not the most powerful man in hip hop.
obviously if somebody's powerful doesn't mean you shouldn't try to speak up against them but making fabricated lies to the point where you can get pointed out in public as being that and the person you're talking about in the lawsuit coming out and basically dispelling the claims you're making it's not a good look diddy has actual lawyers who are top tier who are going to easily debunk those rumors and um one of the biggest things with the whole meek mail thing is he could easily just not say anything or if he did say something just say the lawsuit is completely
made up which would
you know in turn
stop all of the
meek mill banter from happening in the first place
because obviously there's no validity
what it seems to be no validity
to this lawsuit as some of the
claims have already factually
been proven to not be true so
anyways um
not saying that the multiple women that's coming out against
ditty are not saying their
lawsuits or fabricated but just
literides specifically
I think when I even I think I've you know it's uh it's just made up it's just simply made up um so what else
yeah that's basically it so anyways click by link sharing my bio let me know on one of my social
media's when you think about litter rod the producer well former producer and videographer
against sean diddy combs and at the end of the day do you feel any level of empathy for
diddy now I know as a drag stand this man cannot
care less but for the people out there who do care because you know this is honestly a great
thing that's happening in society now what am i talking about well riana has teased an upcoming
short film with the one and only a sab rocky titled born to steal yours mine ours for fenty
beauty's youtube channel so this short film
will star asap rocky rihanna's partner of course and you know asap is the father of their two
children so at this point in time safe to say that they're pretty connected and this is the
you know analytic dreams video on spotify to see the video along with the audio to see what
i'm talking about basically this is a social account for riana basically say i'm born to
steal yours mine r's short film with asaph rocky premiering on finty and finty
plus fenty beauty basically her two iG channels uh youtube tomorrow at 10 a m pt uh let me see i would
play that video i don't know uh let me see if i could find that video i ain't know it was a whole
video out that's funny i just started this and didn't even know that it would have already
been out premiering so even though it's premiering i don't know what the copyright situation is for
that hopefully it's nothing crazy i would say finty skin
I went on there. I didn't see anything. Fenty Beauty.
See Fenty Beauty.
Oh, I see it. Yeah, I'm definitely not playing this.
I'm pretty sure this probably has some type of copyright material.
What is this? What in the world?
This is a minute and 53 second short film.
I mean, could I play it?
I don't know how that works.
I mean, if they say it's a film, I don't know.
I ain't even playing with Brianna like that.
cap to you so anyways uh yeah she has a new film out which i would show because it's one minute
53 seconds but you know and it's only on youtube but at the end of day i'm not trying to mess around
with the what they call themselves the navy so anyways let's just play this random compilation
of rihanna asap once again uh analytic dreams video on spotify for video along with the audio
so anyways let's get into the actual tidbits of what this actually means so a minute and 53 second you know
short film that Rihanna and ASEP Rocky has put together,
which is basically a more glamorous, noir-inspired setting with stylish outfits, of course.
And then the biggest thing you need to know is that this teaser trailer, you know,
was very popular, had millions of views.
And one of the biggest things is there was a lot of positive comments from fans,
as they really do enjoy this relationship between ASEP and Rihanna.
and one of bigger collaborative efforts from Rihanna was with Puma on a limited edition Fenty Puma
Aventi Pony Sneaker Collection and basically retail for $200. Goodness, it have already sold out.
Let me tell you something.
For all my Rihanna music fans out there, just know she's never coming back.
Every time you think to yourself, dang, this is the.
year where we're finally going to get a Rihanna album. Guess what? It's not going to happen.
You can forget about it. It's basically the Michael Jordan mean, stop and go get some help
because Rihanna is never coming back ever. All right. So, sorry to break that news in Navy,
but I think y'all are in disbelief. You know, she's out here basically on her Kanye West tip
selling all type of merchandise and having to sell out to the point which you probably realize
that fashion is way more lucrative than music. I mean, how many music-based events has she
attended? And then compare that to how many fashion-based events have she attended. I mean,
pretty safe to say that Rihanna is never coming back to music creation.
Which honestly, you know, some people like to say, oh, Rihanna needs to come back.
But if you look at it, if you as a musician, right, let's go to Rihanna because I think some people get it messed up on her output and music.
If you've been making music since 2005 with the first track on DSPs in May 26, 2005 with Pond the replay.
And it's 2024.
Would you not want to take a break as well?
I don't think people realize how long that is.
That's almost two decade plus of just straight, or not music.
But basically, almost two decades ago when she officially started music.
And with Rihanna's type of sentient, I mean, does she not deserve this type of hiatus from music?
Let's not act like she hasn't been active at all, right?
She was a part of the Black Panther album where she put the, uh, yeah, Wakanda forever to lift me up track.
that's not a good no that was only one track i didn't like that let me see 2016 was the last time
she put out of the album actually with auntie and you know that's the one that drake was going
at because of course you know i'm i'm a drake stand so of course i know that by heart let me see
drake had a line because he's just dissing riana for no reason like even though riana
is probably never going to respond he's just going to keep you know begging for her
attention by putting out these subliminal disses so basically on for all the dogs
I think it was one of the first tracks.
I think it was Fear of Heights.
I don't think it was going to play.
I think it was Fear of Heights.
I forget.
Anyways, but he says anti, like he plays off of the anti,
which is the last track that Rihanna put out.
And basically he has some type of,
well, let me expound upon that.
So he put out the antiverse at the beginning of Fear of Heights,
which I think is the track.
Don't, you know what I mean?
Don't, you know what I mean?
Don't.
Take that 100% as fact.
I think it's Fear of Heights.
But basically he said,
something, something.
He was like,
better him than me,
talking about Acev Rocky.
Better it's not me.
And then he said,
something, some, some anti,
because I had it with you.
Auntie like a family picture,
anti like your daddy sister,
something like that.
But anyways,
basically he was going at Rihanna, right?
I say all that to say.
that is why I started this segment off by saying that Drake could probably care less about this news.
But I may take that back because my other statement is Drake was on tour, well, is on tour,
and basically said he's going to stop performing work.
Who is attached to that track?
Rihanna.
Why would he play the track in the first place just to say that to take another slight dig at Rihanna?
I don't know if he actually cares or if he's just playing into the mantra that he's just heartbroken over Rihanna's,
relationship with Aesap. A part of me believes it's just fake, but then another part of me,
you know, the subject matter for all the dogs makes me feel like he actually does still care
about Rihanna, you know, basically having a whole family with Aesap. I mean, I think he said publicly
that having the kid with Rihanna was like, you know, the golden pathway or whatever. So
anyways, um, yeah, Rihanna, Aesap, you know, they had a nice little one minute and 53 second film
What else?
I wanted to get into the short film is basically described as cute, heartwarming, seductive, and creative synergy.
Fans appreciated the intimate and promotional nature of the clip.
Yeah, that's basically it.
What else?
Rihanna, Aesap, social media reaction, short film description.
Yeah, that's basically it.
It's not too much to get into, I mean, obviously, Aesab Rockie.
He puts out music, but nobody wants to listen to it.
And Rihanna's like the complete opposite.
Everybody wants to listen to it, but she's just not putting out music.
So it's a very interesting dynamic between the anticipation of music between Rihanna and AASAP.
So with that being said, click my link to you in my bio.
Let me know one of my social medias.
What do you think about Rihanna, Aesab's short film, Born to Steel Yours, Mine, Our's out on the Fenty Beauty YouTube channel currently.
and at the end of day
what is your biggest takeaway from Drake's
multiple subliminal disses at Rihanna
and what is your favorite part about the ASEP and Rihanna relationship?
So that's about it for episode 135
basically covering the whole spectrum of hip hop and gaming
while also making a focus on Kanye West versus cancel culture
which is obviously the title of this episode
and you know I really appreciate y'all support you know without y'all we wouldn't have a lot of things in the pipeline about to come into fruition just know I'm always working hopefully you see that as far as the production wise with the product now compared to like when I officially started back in 2020 yes it was four years ago when I actually started doing podcasting that's a whole another story I mean look up notorious mass effect versus universal music group for that whole debacle but anyways we'll be we'll be
back better than ever you know i mean even though the machines try to hold us down we still march on
and just put up unthinkable numbers at this point like obviously i figured people enjoyed my breakdown
of gaming and hip-hop but then to see the constant support even after having to start over multiple times
even though at this point you know i'm pretty sure i don't have to you know start over knock on wood
but you know you never know how the machines try to play it because the thing about finding
success i would say is finding a need and then supplying that to the point where
you're not maybe the first but you're the you're the one to make it more um
marketable if that makes sense so i think the way we are going with the gaming and hip-hop is very
are unique and obviously brands have noticed that unless you're not you know i don't want to you know speak to
uh speak too soon but we definitely have a lot of things as far as in the works if you don't know
apparently uh not apparently i mean i've been told by you know people i talk to that the beginning
months of the year is something where all the big corporations basically reconstruct their
marketing plans and then they go from there so we've been in negotiations we'll see if any of that
comes into fruition but if not hey we're going to still keep
riding with this because you know this ain't no this this ain't no uh light movement in itself as far as
what we doing by ourselves so anyways that's about it for episode 135 thanks for tuning into the
notorious mass effect podcast and don't be afraid to send me an email letting me know what you think
