What's this?
Analytic Dreams video on Spotify to see the video along with the audio because right now we are playing the Mortar Combat One Chaos Reigns D.C.
Launch trailer.
Is at your disposal.
What I asked is that together we try to break the cycle of violence.
Let real warriors handle this.
Then skill are beyond you.
Greetings.
brother the future is that new say bot i forgot they had new sabat in this
when this crisis ends we settle our differences i don't know if y'all know but nob's
my favorite character like by far second of course sub-zero once you know definitely shimeless
plug analytic dreams video on spotify because i have more to combat gameplay walkthroughs posted
and you know you can see me putting hands, feet, and elbows on people with sub-zero.
That's all I'm saying.
But, you know, whatever, let's get back to the trailer.
Usually I'm pretty nice at fighting games.
And I say usually, like, it's always I'm pretty nice.
As far as more to combat.
Street fight is a little, that's a little different story.
Got Omneman in the cut, Peacemaker in the cut, Homelander.
All right, and then for the people watching the video,
I'm just going to let the rest of the trailer play.
because right now they're just showing gameplay and different fatalities and stuff so with that being said
this is a whole new timeline of course bhan sub zero has aligned with a titan havoc to rebel against
lu keying's peaceful new era now forget all that let's get into how the gameplay in the story does
not match up right the gameplay as far as the assisting mechanic is something that's been hit or miss
But now with more time we've seen it's been more of a miss than a hit because of the fact that I'm not going to say it's slowed down the gameplay in its entirety.
But with me, I realize that playing the game, there's certain assists that's way better than all the other assists.
So you end up only using like two to three characters as far as an assist feature in the game because they extend your combo to the point where why would you use another one that only like gives you a buffer for like two seconds, right?
the assistant the assist powers are not built the same as far as in the game and when i was
using sub zero i found myself using a lot of um i forget who his name the guy who shoots the uh
why can i not remember his name i think it was syrax because it was syrac and sector but they show
okay so there's female variance of the cyrax and sector and his doc but there's the male variance
and there's one of them that has a system feature where he basically shows you
choose a rocket and it extends your combo right but when I was using that I realized that this
assisting power is way better now all the other powers I was using with the other characters
so it's not really as mix and match as they try to make it seem as far as having like a two-on-two
format or having a assist some characters are cool but then their assisting feature when you
have them as an assistant character is pretty trash so with that being considered I think
the biggest thing to note with the mortar combat one is just
how overwhelming it is from the standpoint of the foundation.
Now, the story got off to a great, I mean, a fantastic start.
But then you realize that the overarching story, there's really nothing that's developing.
There's no character arcs.
There's nothing that's intriguing.
You're playing the story and then you get to the end and everything's thrown out the window
as far as making sense, right?
it's just random buildup of environment and storytelling and things of that nature and you get to the end and it's all thrown out the window for an endgame type of ending even though it didn't deserve or even build up to that type of ending so when you realize that the story aspect of mortar combat needs a little bit of work but let's focus on what they did work on which is of course new
characters to put along with this DOC that will run you about $40 and there are discounts
available via top up cards I don't know what that means like PlayStation store cards I guess
from CD keys I don't know what that is but the DOC is around 15 gigabytes and can be
preloaded for pre-orders and comes out September well it's already out so as far as this
DOC already being out, the reviews have said that the expansion definitely adds new story content.
I mean, of course, but you come to realize just like the main story, it lacks character
development and narrative death.
And a lot of the critics was basically saying that it adds to the lore, but it's just there.
Like, it's nothing that's intriguing to make you want to play it besides the addition of new
characters like the female versions of Sector and Cyrax, the fan favorite character as far as
noob say by guest characters like ghost face t-1-000 Conan the barbarian other additions as far as
um guest fighters which are anticipated to be a significant draw draw but they are not immediately
available at the expansion's launch because of the of course timeline that they want to release content
through and i think fighting games is the perfect setting to have that live service type of approach
but if the foundation is bare bones to the point where if you remember when mortal combat originally came out it had a certain mode that you played against your friends but it was king of the hill type of structure it wasn't just private to where you can fight any and everybody it was a certain system to where if you won you had to stay on top but let's say you wanted like a private lobby so that
you fight somebody the next two guys fighting and the next two guys fighting it out of that
y'all can make your own tournament that's not at all even possible because of them having
bare bones when it comes to private lobby settings and overall customization when you're
trying to play just with your friends like maybe if the guy who wins doesn't want to stay on top
like maybe you want to let the next two guys go right well that's not possible because once
again is bare bones and undercooked because I think what ended up happening was this is my theory
right nether realm had injustice in its sights as far as making injustice three but then I think
they realized at some point that they wasn't going to be able to accomplish that and so they
pivoted towards this more to combat one game coming out because even though this this
this game shows a lot of promise and does receive bonus and not bonus it does receive content on a
consistent basis it's basically just skins it's nothing of the wowing variety besides the guest
characters that were added as far as omneman because i even came back when i uh when omneman was in the
game i mean shameless plug once again analytic dreams video on spotify and just look up more to combat
gameplay analytic dreams and it should pop up but
Basically, I played as Omneman.
He, the control-wise felt just like Omnumann out of the show as far as the way you was able to fly across the screen, showcase your dominance as far as speed, power, and versatility.
I think the gameplay loop is very enjoyable, but it's everything that's surrounding it that makes it very bare bones.
It's like if Call of Duty mechanics were still in place to make it feel like a Call of Duty game, but only,
team deathmatch was available instead of like all the other popular game modes it's like
hold up this is not the same as all the other call of duties as far as it being developed and
spending more time in the oven as far as um a totality standpoint because one of the more pivotal
things that i even recognized was when i was playing the game and then the tutorial mode
there were less features than the previous Mortal Kombat tutorial mode.
I'm like, how does they even work?
Like you're just taking stuff out of the game that was already proven
to be an addition to your previous game as far as having all these type of,
you know how, prime example, you know how Street Fighters tutorial and training mode
has all these different features as far as,
as far as frame data, as far as moves that you can,
and pin to the top of the screen
if you want to work on it.
All the little things that makes these games
feel like they actually value your time
is missing for Mortar Combat 1.
And as a Mortar Combat fan,
it's
underwhelming
and it does not
taking care of your fan base
to the point where now people have moved on
and will they ever come back
to Mortarcombat?
at one because of course when it came out the gate uh came out the gate it was selling a lot as far as
in totality but if you look at the charts now i mean it's not the top 10 of any of the platforms
and that's just a testament to how they don't they're not um retaining the player base for the simple
fact that people have recognized that you are giving us the bare minimum and trying to sell us skins
as an addition when really you're just trying to get more money out of us via micro transactions like
the dc just came out and there's nowhere to be found on the best sellers list of either console as far as
xbox PlayStation or uh steam and another testament to that is dragon ball sparking zero sparking zero is
a hit out the gate and everybody is talking about the little things that the development studio did
to make this just the best Dragon Ball game maybe ever.
So people will give credit when credits do.
But ultimately, if you're going to add a whole new cameo system
and originally it feels like a fresh idea,
but then with more time you realize that it's really a monotonous
and it makes for a frustrating gameplay
because only three, four characters have great cameo abilities.
And all the other ones are pretty trash
and, you know, for lack of a better term.
So I think them focusing on 1v1 battles with more extra variables instead of just doing the cameo system will be the better route.
I think going the more to combat X route as far as having different variations of the character you're playing as is better than the whole cameo system that they try to implement.
Because of course, I think they was trying to just be different in the way of being different.
Like, I don't think this cameo system is any better than the Mortal Kombat 10 variations of the character you could play as, right?
I just think they was trying to switch it up to the point where you can't just say this is a copy and paste of Motor Kombat 10 or Morta Combat 11.
So ultimately, them trying to be different just ended up with an underdeveloped, undercooked game to the point where now, not even the DOC can save it.
because even though they did receive certain free updates,
including the return of the classic animalities,
where characters transform into animals to finish off enemies,
as you've seen throughout this trailer I've been playing,
they are still promoting these skins like it's the actual game.
And it's reminiscent of when I was playing Spider-Man 2,
and I realized that instead of adding actual depth to the gameplay,
they would just rather add three, four, five more skins so that little Timmy would be more enticed
to go buy toys at like Walmart or Toys RS or something. I think Toys RS went out of building,
went out of business. That makes me feel old. But y'all get what I'm saying, right? It's for the
interest of monetary and micro transactions instead of actually adding to the overall gameplay
mechanics of the entire video game, right? So, and to this day, I still don't know if they have
actual private lobbies i mean i hope so with this uh much time to to work on the game but um
yeah man the only biggest things that i see that's intriguing to me is noob sabot i mean he's one
the main reasons that i even come back to more to combat because if it wasn't for him or sub
zero i probably wouldn't even have a favorite and as far as more to combat one i would i will say
the way that they did reign's character it's probably the best it's probably the best i've ever
seen as far as Raines character being dealt with because uh motor combat one and the
physics uh physics and the graphics is top tier right that's that's one thing that's arguably
the best has ever been at as far as the maps and the the visuals of the game is top tier it's just
everything else that's bare bones and it's unfortunate because you can see where this game was
going but ultimately it just didn't reach that um that entertainment wow factor especially with
Kong, Astrobot.
There's an anime game out that's right now.
I forget the name of it.
But there's a certain anime game out that's taking the world by storm.
And then you have, of course, Black Ops coming out.
Then you have all the sports games.
Then you have Warhammer.
It's too many games.
That's potential Game of the Year contenders for you to be trying to promote new
skins and hoping people come back to your game, right?
So that's why I say that because I think that we need to get to a point where in Dragon Ball,
I didn't even say that.
That game is going crazy online right now.
So it's too much to compete with to be putting out these nonsensical stories and thinking
people are just going to come back and be intrigued for the simple fact that you're more
to combat.
Like, no, my brother, you may have to put a little bit more effort for us to come back and
play your game. So with that being said, click my link to your my bio and let me know on one of my
social media is. Have you played Mortal Kombat 1 Chaos Rain? And if you've had, if you have,
what do you think Nether Realm should do when it comes to continuing this game or what do you
think they should do in the next Mortal Kombat to make their retention as far as a player base
consistent. Now, I don't think I've ever covered the most popular sport in the world when it comes
to the video game attached to it. So this is beyond due because with an estimated 3.5 billion fans
globally, it is unequivocally the most popular sport in the world with cricket coming second.
I know for the United States people listening, y'all probably are what? Y'all probably like, what is not
the National Football League, which we stole the title in the first place, but we don't care.
It's not that.
No, it is not.
As globally, soccer is the most important, not important, is the most popular sport.
Cricket is the second most popular sport.
And then hockey is the third most popular sport.
But in the United States, soccer is the fourth most popular sport.
sport don't you just love how cultures are just so different as far as what we consume on an
everyday basis but anyways in the united states of course you can already tell what is the number one
sport right i mean we copied their name for a reason american football is the number one sport
basketball is the number two sport with baseball coming in and number three now i've always wondered
why in the world is these games so popular year in and year out and then i realized that my brothers and
sisters in society have been bound by the shackles of 2K for so long that I'm mad that
that he was that was even a question that formed in my head because EA Sports FC25 probably
scratches the same itch for soccer players in real life soccer players that he that that NBA 2k does
for in real life basketball players because I know me personally when I play NBA 2K is all type of
things that I do in the video game sense that is just as enjoyable as me doing it in real life.
Now, for some of y'all, y'all can't say that because y'all just trashed.
You know what I'm saying?
I mean, goodness.
No, I'll just play it.
My fault.
But yeah, mostly, I'll just trash hoopers, for real.
So with that being said, some of the things that you can do in EA Sports FC is reminiscing
on the things that you've done in real life when it comes to soccer.
But just like I said, for the trash hoopers, they're probably, what?
I don't even know what the term is trash footballers.
Like, I don't even know how you, how do you quantify a soccer player?
I don't know.
Anyways, getting into EA Sports FC, we're going to get into some sales, of course,
and then a review roundup, because ultimately, when you look at 19,000 licensed players
from over 700 teams across both men's and women's league,
you realize and come to realize that EA Sports FC25 boasts the largest,
licensing we've ever seen in the franchise so that being said so many people to choose from as far as a
video game format and then you come to the point where they're topping the UK charts despite the
decline in EA Sports FC 24 as far as when that released it had a 4.6 decline but um actually that's
incorrect EA Sports FC 25 top the UK charts in September
24 despite a 4.6 decline compared to EA Sports FC24. And then the game led UK sales for
September with PS5 accounting for 61% of the sales and Xbox 17% and PS4 13% and Nintendo Switch 9%.
Now why am I bringing it up? Because ladies and gentlemen, if you go to the market share right now
as far as the best selling games in the world for PlayStation specifically is the fourth most play
game on that platform you go to xbox and it is the number one most play game on that platform now why is that
apparent to point out because with it with this being a sports game you're also competing with every
other game on the market so to be the best selling on xbox the fourth bestseller on
playstation and then i got to count right quick one two three three
three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, goodness.
So rounding out the top ten, it makes the tenth spot for Steam.
So in, you know, sports games, I'm not going to say all sports games, but for what I've seen,
it seems like sports games is most consumed on the console level.
So anyways, uh, the reason why I bring that up is because obviously it's doing tremendous
as every sports game usually does with their specific fan base.
And some of the, um, um,
realism as far as the graphics the gameplay mechanics the attention to detail is why people who play soccer in real life is is really
gravitating towards the game and then captivated by the ultimate
realism that the game portrays because of course his portraying the most popular sport globally like on planet earth if you took up all the humans and ask them what they think is the or no what sport do they enjoy the most soccer would be number one so what that
said another thing that encapsulates the video game players of the soccer variety ultimate team mode
which you know i can definitely resonate with this mode allows players to build their dream team by
collecting and trading player cards which has become a huge part of the game's appeal now the reason
why this is a big thing is because when me playing NBA 2k always wait for it to go on sale
and then i play my GM mode and i put all the people from my hometown on one team because yes i grew up
playing against professional players and I play with them in the game so that is why I
enjoy team mode games because you have unlimited customizable options when it comes to creating
your league if I want Kyrie and Wimbiyama on the same team well guess what I'm gonna make that
happen which I actually did I traded Luca which you know people probably mad at but you know
it's whatever it's my game right anyways back to soccer my fault so when it comes to soccer
this game has integrated the women's soccer into the career mode so now women's soccer is now fully integrated into the career mode
and then there's more detail when it comes to player career and manager career and i saw this pop a
analytic dreams video on spotify to see the video along with the audio but basically rush uh rush job
that just popped up right here uh is basically a new game mode right and it's a five eva i i
a 5 v5 fast-paced mode similar to FIFA Street that in itself should be copied by every other sports game
i don't know why NBA i mean technically they have the blacktop but come on now is i mean
I guess it'd be too much to ask for a whole new mechanic when it comes to a different game mode
but if NFL specifically madden found a way to put NFL street as a version like maybe it has to be
cut down a little bit because of all the resources and assets used for the original gameplay loop
but NFL street if there's any way for them to incorporate that into Madden that would be
phenomenal but anyways as far as FIFA is considered um what's i'm saying oh
as far as FIFA is considered the rush 5 v5 mode has multiple areas such as they added multiple
areas such as ultimate team seasons and kickoff and the gameplay emphasizes smaller teams
and more intimate player interactions offering a new and exciting challenge so that's one of the big
things as far as adding to the EA sports FC25 is the rush game mode and then you have the a ii
overhaul where EA sports FC I keep saying the game title like I ain't like I haven't said it 20 million
times but y'all know what the game I'm talking about so FC 25 features an updated AI model which
utilizes real world data to influence team roles and emphasizes no it enhances more realistic off-to-ball
movement and overall team coordination for AI control players now the only thing I got out of that
is that AI is being used on a higher level.
And finally, because goodness, if these developers have any more excuses
when it comes to putting a video game together
and why it's not optimized, now they have AI to help them out.
So anyways, like I said, career mode has been revamped a little bit
as far as integrating the women's soccer into it.
And then you have real world teams and pivotal matches
of the 2024-25 seasons.
that is accessible through live start points and snapshots making in-game experiences
even closer to real-life soccer events.
That's pretty cool.
Some of the other things to know as far as EA is the new levels of player personalization
for in-game avatars, and then you have the clubhouse interaction as far as off-pitch skill
boost through facilities.
I don't know what that means, but people who play the game probably already know.
know what I'm talking about.
And of course, micro transactions.
Boy, you knew what EA, we was going to get to that.
So digital coin markets remain active for Ultimate Team, which has prices fluctuating based
on demand indicating strong player engagement.
Now, as far as some of the reviews, I did have the review roundup, I believe.
Let me see if I can find that.
I actually don't remember where I put it.
is it this one oh it's not that one okay yeah i don't know what i put it but anyways i do have it right
here as well i gn gave the game a eight out of ten game spot gave it a seven out of ten games radar
gave it a four out of ten and you know in totality just to generally sum it up
they said that the refined gameplay and the new tactics system is a improvement upon the base
or the previous iteration uh the the previous iterations but the game feels more
iterative than revolutionary interative what is that word hold up you feel looked at it right now
interative uh definition okay involving repetition such as bro it's a sports game of course
it's going to be repetition yeah so anyways um it seems like it's just a great game honestly
for what i've seen from what i've heard it's a great game um as you can tell about the reviews
they've reviewed it well with you know eight at a 10 seven out of 10s four out of five uh 77 i'm
a critic a lot of people are enjoying the new um game and they are basically enjoying the rush
mode while also just the overall realism of playing a sport in a video game that you also play in real
life and for people who don't play in real life i mean you could probably enjoy it as well but i know
as playing like NBA 2k it's just a certain extra enjoyment factor of playing a game that you've
played in real life and got the same amount of enjoyment out of both so with that being said click my
link to my bio let me know one of my social media is what do you think about EA sports FC25 and
Will you be picking it up and giving this game a try?
Now, if you've been following the podcast, you already know that Zucosis sparked my interest way back when it initially revealed its trailer as far as the premise of the game.
So if you look up Zucosis, analytic dreams, it should pop up as far as my coverage of the reveal trailer.
Now, why did it spark my interest?
Well, for the simple fact that the setting in the plot seem to be unique as far as the way that the horror genre usually strays from.
Because, of course, we have Jurassic Park, but Zucoses in its entirety is very different.
You know, it's more of a Five Nights and Freddy's, a Resident Evil,
in a planet zoo all mixed together.
And the premise is basically you're a zookeeper.
And it focuses on animals who have mutated due to the virus.
And the most important thing to keep in mind is that this game is only currently available on PC via Steam, right?
As far as consoles, I haven't heard of any plan.
plans of putting of this game coming out on those platforms but in general I would think
that at some point it would come to those platforms because I was looking at Xbox I was
looking at PlayStation as far as the top games on the platform and then I realized this game was
only set to come out on PC for the whole time so I looked at the the steam charts and
as far as the horror element I don't see zoocoses anywhere on these lists and so that
led me to believe that this game is more
niche. I feel like the sales aren't really talked about for this specific game, for the simple fact
that it's more of a niche genre and the people who are into the horror type genre, just know
that technically it may not be as compelling as the top selling AAA titles, but as far as having
its niche in the horror and simulation, I think that you would enjoy this game for the simple fact
of the premise. Now, of course, this is more of a review roundup in
coverage of the sales but with the only being out on PC and with this being the
niche game there's not too much we can get into with when it comes to sales I mean
it's nothing as far as the litmus scale that we can look at besides the steam charts
and I don't see it on there at all which is not a bad thing like I said it's just
more of a niche game so just because something sells a lot doesn't mean it has high
quality just because that something doesn't sell means it has low quality the
two is um doesn't correlate as far I mean sometimes it correlates but for the most part you
know something of quality doesn't mean it's going to automatically sell and something that's
subpart doesn't mean that's going to have no sales right I mean it's only up had tremendous
sales out the gate and that game is literally you just going up so with that being said uh
getting into zucoses I've already said it's a horror game and
A lot of the animals in this game as far as the giraffes, the hippos, the gorillas, the zebras, etc.
is the main animals, but players can potentially cure them as far as, you know, them mutating due to the virus
and revert them to the original form based on endgame decisions. Now, that's another topic I want to get into,
because apparently this game has 23 endings. So, as far as an RPG connoisseur, when I hear,
hear multiple endings. I'm always skeptical because it's like, are you changing the color of the
sky? Are you changing like one line in the ending? Or is the actual complete different, completely
different endings as far as all 23 being considered? That is where I come to the response
to the people who've played the game as the basis, the sentiments around the ending is that
it's not really much of a payoff. The lack of closure.
with the multiple endings seems to be interesting for the simple fact that if you have 23 endings,
you would think one of them would give you a satisfying conclusion. Obviously, you know, those people
who play the game who say, oh, I love my ending. And just majority-wise, people are coming out to say
that they felt like their decisions really didn't matter in the grand scheme of things, which is not
something you want to hear when majority of the game, as far as when they're selling it to you,
is your in-game decisions and how it impacts the overall story.
And of course, the narrative issues is a lot of things that people have criticized.
Like the whole optimization when it comes to CGI sequences,
not meeting the expectations of the current player base.
And also, they felt like it felt out of place for the game's unique style
as far as the visual element.
But just because majority of players,
are not as satisfied with the ending doesn't mean that you personally won't find one of the 23
endings uh satisfying or adequate right so getting back into the overview of the game you know
a lot of game publishers reviewed this game and igin game spot pc euro gamer let's just say they
didn't have the highest of praises for a zucosis with igin giving it a five out of ten basically
mentioning that while the concept is intriguing, the execution falls short due to repetitive
gameplay and lacklustre graphics. GameSpot gave it a four out of 10 criticizing the game's
poor optimization and uninspired level design, which is something that I thought wouldn't have been
a critique for the simple fact that the premise, the reveal trailer, seems like they was going
all out as far as ultimately showcasing a unique visual style when it comes to the horror genre.
I mean, how many games, I know there's one titled Planet Zoo, but how many games are out here in the zoo that's based on horror besides a Jurassic Park, right?
And with that being said, I think that they had a great opportunity to put just a stamp on a foundation of horror games, sort of like a Five Nights and Freddy's, how that setting was so unique and compelling to the point where it has his own franchise and even just had his own movie not too long ago.
I believe there was a Five Nights and Freddy's movie.
I don't see when it came out.
So that movie came out October 27th.
No, no, no, no, it didn't.
It came out, it came out 2023.
And I don't know why I can't find the actual release date.
So Five Nights at Freddy, the actual movie.
I think the movie did with.
well also like i that's why i'm surprised i can't even find when the movie came out five nights
at freddies's i think it's getting a sequel to least date okay it was october 27 all right so last
year i was just had a fact check i want to be you know can't be spreading misinformation anyways
uh october 27th 2023 is when the five nights of freddie movie came out and essentially
it did well enough for its fan base
to where they was going to come out with a sequel now with that sequel ever see the light of day
we'll have to wait and see but as far as a genre being innovated upon as far as a setting
being the most pivotal factor in the horror element as far as being in basically a chucky
cheese setting and having the animatronics come at you in horrific ways that is as a premise and of course
the backstory because i've gotten into five nice and freddies i remember watching uh i forget his name i don't know
why i'm forgetting his name right now but anyways i was watching this guy play five nice and freddies and
i don't even like horror game so you know a horror game has to be good if i'm just going against my
wheel as far as my uh my you know scary level being tested as far as five nights or freddies so
the setting can do wonders for a video game when it comes to the horror element because that's the
main thing in my opinion. So in Zucosis completely nails that and it has more of a dark sense when it
comes to the highlight of the game when it comes based on the strategy because of you having to heal
or avoid healing certain animals. But then if you do, they succumb to the virus and now you got to
run from them. Right. It's just such a balance that I think was very interesting as far as the way
they set the premise. So anyways, like I said, this game is on PC via Steam and
and launched with a discount of 10% bringing the price down to $22.
It was originally $25.
So it's not going to break the bank, obviously, but the overwhelming reviews from multiple publications, I mean, Medicare, it is sitting at a 4.3 slash 10.
Seemingly, all the major publications are criticizing the cliche story and the failure to live up to its entreaty.
concept due of turning zoo animals into nightmarish creatures so basically people are all coming
together in a general consensus is the plot and the overall concept is amazing but the execution
is below subpart so even though this is a 24 22 dollar game and while it may appear
to appeal to horror and simulation fans the overwhelming
negative reception and gameplay issues as far as optimization will lead me to personally say to you
that you should probably either wait if you're not sure about purchasing this game and trying it out
until they fix some of the optimization issues right so overall it's just another one of those
interesting and fantastic concepts falling victim to poor execution so with that being said
click my link to my bio and let me know one of my social media is what do you think
think about Zucosis that's out now on PCV esteem?
And will you be giving it a try?
And if you have given it a try,
what do you think they could have done better
to make this an appealing game to the masses?
It's not the end that matters, but the journey.
Of course, this was eloquently put by none other than Kakarot.
more commonly known as
Goku, the ultimate mascot
of Dragon Ball.
Now, in reference to this quote
and how it completely
encapsulates the surroundings
as far as the release of Dragon Ball
Sparking Zero that's out now on all platforms
as far as PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and S
and Microsoft Windows,
which is basically PC via Steam,
you come to realize that the fans of the legendary anime
diving into the game are finding true joy
and living out their childhood in a video game
that basically lets them revisit
a lot of experiences and adventures
that they've already encountered when they, of course, watch the anime.
So when Dragon Ball Sparkin' Zero out now, as far as October 11th, 2024,
it's going to give a lot of hardcore anime fans, but more importantly, gamers,
and experience with beloved characters and storylines that you really can't find in any other anime fighting game.
Well, I would bet that Dragon Ball in its series, as far as this video game counterpart is considered,
is one of the best iterations from anime to video game land.
Because, of course, you had Naruto Shepudan, I believe.
And, no, I think it was called Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm.
That was another great crossover as far as getting a reincarnation of,
an anime in video game format and it being serviceable to its fan base.
Why am I saying that for the simple fact that Dragon Ball has not only gained the hearts
of hardcore anime fans, but also in video game land alone.
Because in general, when we're looking at it from an analytical perspective, the Steam's
global sales chart, the Xbox chart, the Spotify, the Spotify, the Spotify, the
The PlayStation chart, they all have Dragon Ball in its rightful place as far as being either
in the top five or ultimately number one.
As currently speaking, Dragon Ball Sparking Zero is one of the more popular games in October
for the simple fact that it has consistently had around 100,000 concurrent players peaking around
122,000 as far as its initial release. Now of course this is a $70 game but that's a small price to pay
for revisiting some of your favorite storylines in your childhood because when it comes to
Xbox when it comes to PlayStation specifically PlayStation is the most played game on the platform
right now. So of course it's followed by the usual as far as sports games and call
of duty well actually undisputed in silent hill two interestingly enough is in the top six as far as
a playstation well top games on playstation in the united states but as far as in totality dragon ball
has completely captivated the masses i mean sales is not everything but when steam put out the numbers
as far as pre-orders alone and it surpassed the titles like blackmith wukong warhead
Hammer as far as Space Marine Tomb, it definitely showcased its popularity and of course the dedication
from anime fans in the way that they've been anticipating this game, not only in word or mouth,
but also following that up with action as far as taking over the month of October when in all
The flexuality, the dominator of video game sales, and referring to Call of Duty, seems to be on the back burner.
Because of course, BlackOps 6 is pre-order ready right now for you to pre-order, but everybody is talking about Dragon Ball.
So when it comes to that sales perspective, it has been an underdog for the sales landscape, but it has climbed to the top.
and it doesn't seem like it's falling off anytime soon.
So to bring it back full circle, it's not the end that matters, but the journey, as we've seen.
But with that being said, of course, Dragon Ball Sparking Zero has released on all platforms, PlayStation, well, not all.
Of course, for the people still playing on retro consoles in reference to PS4 and Xbox One,
best believe me this game will not run on that but the platforms it will run on is of course
PlayStation 5 Xbox series X and S and PC via steam right so another thing I wanted to get into
was just how it was or it had early access as far as October 8th but that was only available
for people who pre-ordered the game either digitally and they got either the deluxe ultimate or
a sound ultimate edition.
I know a lot of people through Amazon got the physical pre-order only to find out that for some
reason when it comes to pre-ordering popular games through Amazon, it just ends up missing.
Now don't tell me or don't ask me how that happens.
Let's just say it was just a coincidence, right?
A popular release, you're trying to order it through Amazon to physical copy, mind you,
because game preservation is at an all-time low.
So maybe you want a Dragon Ball sparking zero because honestly speaking to people in this community,
it seems like this type of video game won't be able to be as substantial for the foreseeable future
for the simple fact that they had a lot of new storylines to incorporate into this specific game.
And then when you had the guy who was the narrator at the very end of every single episode of Dragon Ball
as far as I totally blinked on his name.
Hold on let me see if I could find.
I think I could find it as far as far as.
there was a specific guy yeah okay doc Harris the English narrator for Dragon Ball Z the person who was
always like find out next time on Dragon Ball Z obviously you know he did it way better but uh
that was the guy who passed away so you know RIP to him and it's just such a interesting
timing because when this game came out obviously a day before is when the news started to break as far
as him passing away so of course we don't know if he passed away on that day but just it even being
and close to that time of this release is insane.
And of course, some of the new incorporations as far as the new newer story lines when it comes
to Dragon Ball is now all in one package as far as sparking zero, whereas in the past,
it may have left out some of the newer storylines as far as Dragon Ball is considered.
Now, obviously, I don't really watch Dragon Ball like that, but I can't say that from the
anticipation from what I've heard, this is the perfect video game.
for Dragon Ball fans and not only Dragon Ball fans but people who enjoy the
arena fighter genre right because as far as playable characters I mean this game is
packed full with playable characters especially at launch which is insane as the
overall number is 181 characters in the drag from the Dragon Ball franchises in
this game on like at launch which
is very commendable with every single fighting game having characters as DOC as far as in the
future which you know Dragon Ball does have but to launch with 181 characters is something that
should be applauded and should ultimately be highlighted when it comes to a lot of corporations
short-changing their player base for the simple fact that they want them to pay for stuff that
should have already been in the game right so with that being said let's get into the dicey subject
of the DLC so basically there's summon share on oh no you say that but there's three packs of
no no there's three days of early access that you can receive if you get the deluxe edition
and that is for the doc of course and then another thing you get with the deluxe edition which is
$99 mind you is the season pass so if you pay for the up the one up as far as there's the standard
edition for 70 there's the deluxe edition for 100 if you get the deluxe edition it includes the season pass
with three packs of content with 20 playable characters the bonus summons charon shenron i don't
even know you said it i think it's shinron and three days early access to d oc and then of course
course the ultimate edition which is a hundred and nine dollars comes with everything from the deluxe
and standard plus an ultimate upgrade pack and then a summoned super shinron now i don't know
what in the world a shinron is but i know anime connoisseurs are probably screaming at their screens
right now what that means but let's just say as somebody who's not as in tune i have no
idea what that means so anyways you may be wondering when are the specific early action
access dates available. Well, it just passed. So by the time you're hearing this, it was already up.
If you didn't already know about it, then, hey, at this point, just forget about it.
As the game is out now for everybody, for the whole entire public, early access in general,
um, public. Yeah, basically early access is already passed. So now it's out now for everybody.
So anyways, I want to get into some reviews because of course, you know, I like to go over sales. I
like to go over to the review roundup because i like to get a consensus of what people feel about
this specific game now besides the vegeta monkey fight which we're going to get to in the second
um and i'm pretty sure the monkey has a name and people are probably screaming it right now but hey
like i keep saying i don't know these specific names and i'm not all into dragon ball like that
but anyways of course this game that was uh developed by uh spike chunsoft i think that's
how you say it. Let me make sure. Yeah, so this game is, I think I found it and then I completely lost it.
Isn't that great? That is fantastic. Okay, so Spike Chunsoff is the development studio. And basically,
they worked on this game, but they also have a lot of other accomplishments under the belts as far as
working on popular franchises like Dagging Rapa. What in the world is that? And my,
Kai Kingdom. So anyways, those are some of the other notable games that's worked on. But
it's brought its expertise, of course, to the gameplay mechanics of Dragon Ball Sparking Zero.
And the timeline of this game, as far as the development cycle, is over five years. As noted
by the producer, John Furutani, for Ruthani, hopefully I said that right. And the basis of Spike
churnsoff as far as developing this game under bandai namco of course because that's the publisher i mean
as far as anime games i think ban khan nam khan nam basically has most of the games under their belt as far as when
it comes to publishing so the emphasis in the development years that was over you know five years
by uh from spike chunsoft was basically emphasizing the uh emphasizing the uh emphasizing the need to refine the fighting
mechanics while also introducing new elements like the cost-based character selection for balance
in team battles now i have seen this i've been watching people play the game and apparently there's a system
right because if you were to go into a team battle of course everybody would just pick the ultimate
super sand versions of every single character and put them all on one team so now when you have to
balance out your allotment of i forget what it's called but there's like
coins that you have to purchase the that you have to use to purchase your team and of course the different
tiers are for the more powerful characters and the lesser powerful characters of course so it can
balance out so just think of it like as all of the memes and Twitter Instagram and TikTok memes
where they have a chart where it's like oh who would you spend your $15 on to build your
ultimate team and like some people are like in the five dollar tier some people in a four dollar
tier three dollar tier two dollar tier one dollar tier etc right so that's basically how
dragon ball has innovated on the team battle since well in the team battle sense as far as having
cost-based character selection which helps out especially when you you're trying to get into that
competitive play field as far as uh e-sports is considered so with that being said of course some of
other game features and innovation that Dragon Ball Sparking Zero introduces it I mean along with the
balancing system with the you know the cost-based character selection they also have systems to ensure
competitive fairness and online matches you know that goes back to the cost base and then also
they just really are showcasing how they want to cater to both casual and competitive players
because of course you could turn it off if you just want to have you know super sane teams versus
super sand team right but as far as the competitive landscape you need to checks and balances so nobody
just gets straight blue vegetas or what was it Majibu vegeta i forget what's called but anyways the ultimate
power form of these characters and have them all on one team meanwhile you fight in with the like
kid character uh the kid forms of the popular characters right there needs to be a balancing system
but if you want to turn it off of course you can so as far as marketing you
this game. I mean, from a marketing standpoint, this is top tier. As far as portraying a game
appealing to your core fan base, but also appealing to the masses as far as people who was
ultimately not even thinking about this game, but now are going to play it for the simple fact that
they see that a lot of issues when it came to Dragon Ball video games have been addressed,
but not even address some of the animations in this video game is probably top tier i mean it's probably
the best we've ever seen in video game land especially in the unique art style that they're using
still having certain animations in a video game it's still impressive i don't care how you slice it like
sparking zero has some of the best graphics i've ever seen in the video game and of course
that changes with time but as far as right now dragon ball sparking
marking zero has inevitably one of the best looking games of 2024 so anyways when it comes to that
of course comparing it to other games would be a little um disingenuous because this is a fighting
game at the end of the day so there's going to be repetitive gameplay mechanics for the simple fact
that it's a fighting game so with it being an arena fighter with it being in the dragon ball universe
The way that they make it stand out as far as the runtime is definitely the story.
As when you play through the story, you can play through Goku's story, you can play through other characters.
You can play through other character's story.
And then also it just reflects the overall story building that's been happening for quite some time that's ultimately packed into one package.
That's Dragon Ball Sparking Zero.
So anyways, enough of the sales talk.
Let's get into some of the ratings.
because of course when it first came out and reached platforms like Steam, it had 94% as far as a positive rating.
And then across various sites, it averaged 84 to 85 out of 100.
Some of the more specific reviews, of course, IGN gave this a 7.5 out of 10.
Praising gift was nostalgia-like appeal and faithful recreation of Dragon Ball Fighting Fantasy,
but noted issues with responsiveness in complex menus.
Games Radar gave this game a 7 out of 10,
calling it the pinnacle of fan service,
but pointed out that the simple enemy AI
and repetitive mechanics detract from its depth.
Also, GameSpot gave this a 7 out of 10.
So it's pretty much a 7 to 6 out of 10
when I'm looking at the actual ND.
detailed reviews from different publications.
So as far as PC and Metacritic, it seemed like those are the highest one.
But, you know, Metacritic fluctuates, so it may have went down a little bit.
But anyways, GameSpot gave it a 7 out of 10 saying that they commend the game for its vibrant visuals and extensive character roster,
but mention that the repetitive combat can become tiresome over time.
So, of course, with every fighting game, that's going to be a complaint.
but more specifically with Dragon Ball being a arena fighter
it's going to find itself having more of those complaints
for the simple fact that arena fighters is hard to translate
into the competitive field.
I don't know what it is about the mechanics of an arena fighter
versus like a 2D or a 3D fighter,
but it's just completely different
as far as in a competitive landscape because people find loopholes
that probably shouldn't even exist
and it's hard to patch out because of it being in a,
arena like setting so anyways with that being said dragon ball sparking zero definitely has d oc on the
way and if you get the deluxe edition or even the ultimate if you get anything above the standard
edition you will have early access to the upcoming dc there was something else i was want to get into
oh okay so basically everybody has been getting whoop by the vegeta monkey right remember
I said that earlier in this segment.
So I did my due diligence as a true journalist to find y'all a video to help you all out
with that monkey.
Right.
So with that being said, there's a video that I wanted to show y'all because when this crossed
my timeline, especially with me watching everybody just completely struggle against his boss,
and made me think of this video.
And I was like, you know what?
I'm going to show this during my review.
And now here it is.
So analytic dreams video on Spotify to see the video along with the audio.
But let's get into how to be the great ape, Vegeta.
Is a giant ape bullying you?
Is that big monkey keeping you down?
If you, like many people, are having a hard time overcoming the oversized ape Vegeta and Dragon Ball sparking zero,
it might be time for a change in tactics.
Fortunately, your pals at IGN know just the strategy to put that behemoth of a primate flat on his back
in this guide on how to beat Great Ape Vegeta.
As you progress through Goku's story in Dragon Ball Sparking Zero,
one of the early stiff tests is a fight against the Sayan Vegeta
once he's transformed into a colossal great ape.
The first step to winning this fight is staying alive.
To do that, you need to resist the urge to charge him with your fists flying.
The giant space monkey hits much, much harder than you.
He's too big to flinch to most of your attacks,
and will punch right through you if given the chance.
Rely on keeping your distance and using hit-and-run tactics.
Ranged attacks.
are your friend in this fight, specifically your Kamehamea attack, but you need to time your
attacks properly. Stay out of arms reach, but not too far away, flying in a circle and
using the quick dash to avoid most incoming attacks. It can also be helpful to change elevation.
Your goal is to bait him into firing and missing with a beam attack. Dodge until you're sure
you're clear of incoming damage, then counter with a blast of your own.
Bejita will be a sitting duck for your return fire. This will do solid damage, and knock
the big guy off his feet.
giving you an opportunity to charge your key for another attack.
Once you have at least one stack in your skill count,
you can fully charge your key to go into sparking mode.
Now is the time to press the attack, as the added power from this form will cause
Great 8 Vigita to actually flinch, allowing you to potentially land a long combo.
String out a full barrage of normal attacks until your opponent falls over.
As soon as he does, finish with a Kamehamea wave, then immediately start charging again.
If you have more points in your skill count, you can try to charge back up to sparking right away,
Otherwise, start circling again and look for another counterattack window.
If you can manage your key, keep up these hit and run tactics and avoid the urge to stand
toe to toe unless you're in sparking mode, then you should be in great shape to send that great
ape to an early grave, or at least advance to the next chapter.
All right, so with that being said, hopefully none of my notorious massive fake listeners
run into the same problem that everybody else has been running into as far as getting sent to
you know what by the great ape vegeta because of course i don't know why that specific boss has
been giving people so much trouble because i've seen people just run through the boss i've seen
other people struggle but i just wanted to play that just in case just so you know that that is
something of a obstacle as far as your first skill check in dragon ball so anyways of course when
it comes to dragon ball video games they've been putting it out since 2007 i mean i believe the first
one was dragon ball z buddha kai ten kaiichi three no dragon ball z buddakai ten kaiichi actually yeah okay so october 6th
2005 is when the first dragon ball video game came out no that's completely wrong uh november 2nd
2002 is when the first dragon ball came out which was dragon ball z buddike okay now that makes sense
And then, of course, they've been putting out a plethora of titles all the way up to now, right?
As far as the top selling Dragon Ball video games, you have the Dragon Ball Z universe series that sold over 14 million copies between 2015 to 2021.
You have Dragon Ball Fighters, Z, which that was, well, I think it's just Dragon Ball Fighters.
But anyways, that was one of the more pivotal games when it came to the Dragon Ball video game crossing over into competitive.
to play because of the checks and balances that dragon ball fighters had so that was one of the more
notable fighting games from this video game from the dragon ball franchise and then of course
that sold over 8 million units and then you have dragon ball z kakkarat that sold over 4.5 million
units and then you had dragon ball z buddakai series that combined over for over 10 million units
and then you had Dragon Ball
Z. Budakai Tenkaiichi series
that combined for sales over
7 million units.
Now in totality,
Dragon Ball is nothing to be messed with.
I mean, it's a video game franchise
in its complete discography
in the video game field.
It's sold over 70 million units worldwide,
making it one of the best-selling license games
franchises ever.
As far as it
making the top
tier, as far as
in captivating the masses,
it's emphatically one of the
best selling license
game franchises. And of course,
across just the
IP in general, it's grossed
over $10 billion in
revenue as of March
2024. So when it
comes to Dragon Ball Sparking Zero
coming out in October, and the last
game that they've released I believe was Dragon Ball Fighters that was January 26th
2018 yeah I believe that was the latest game they put out you can see how people
were clamoring for a new arena fighter because of course Dragon Ball fighters was more
of a 2d fighting game it was more of a Marvel Capcom style in the Dragon Ball
universe right so anyways to bring it full circle Dragon Ball Sparkin Zero is out
now on PlayStation 5 Xbox series X and S
PC via Steam
released October 11th
2024 or if you're one of the lucky few who was able to play October 8th
2024 as far as the early access is considered
just remember that this game was developed by Spike Chunsoft
and published by Bandai Namco and
this is just emphatically one of the best return
is one of the best returns as far as a Dragon Ball video game
coming to just service fan base once again.
But it seems like this video game has outlasted the overall hype and surpassed it even more.
Because what the hype was for this game, I don't know how, but somehow they managed to even surpass that.
So ultimately, I just wanted to say that it brings me back to the Goku quote,
because they've been putting out Dragon Ball video games since 2000.
to is not the end that matters but the journey so that being said click my link to
my bio let me know one of my social media is what do you think about dragon ball sparking zero
and if you've played the game who's your favorite character and who would you want to see
in the game that's not already available as a gamer it does not warm my heart to see any game go under
But more specifically, the video game that was tagged, that was labeled the future of PlayStation.
When we're talking about Concord and the ultimate promise, but then the ultimate way of going out in a blaze of anonymity.
So in general, whenever you're getting into a hero shooter and you just realize that people say that is the best time to put out a hero shooter because of Overwatch 2 being beyond underwhelming and Valorant being beyond underwhelming.
But what they fail to realize is those specific fan bases are now dedicated.
to mediocrity when it comes to the service from the developers because Overwatch, the original
Overwatch and Valorant are unequivocally classics in the hero shooter genre. So now if you put out
a misstep as an Overwatch 2 or certain DOCs or skins and variant of Valorant, you come to realize
that their player base is more inclined to forgive them for the simple fact that they have indeed
given us and lived up to their promise time and time again so when they do slip stuff like this
doesn't happen because concord had 400 million dollars in development Sony invested 400 million
dollars in Concord.
So usually when you invest that amount of money into anything on hopes for a high R-O-I,
you would be hard-pressed to throw that product to the wayside whenever troubles come about.
So when everybody is saying that charging $40,
for Concord is what ultimately put the nail in a coffin. I can't argue with them for the simple
fact that in Overwatch, a Valerent, a Fortnite, a lot of these other games are super popular
in the shooter genre, but more specifically in the hero genre, we have Marvel rivals
that is seemingly creeping onto the scene as going to as far as being one of the big three
when it comes to hero shooters. Now, obviously that's a big claim.
So I'm open to be it wrong.
But as far as Marvel rivals, I think that's another hero shooter that a lot of people are looking forward to.
So when it comes to Concord, having over $400 million put into it, released on August 23rd, 2024 for PlayStation 5 and PC.
Then two weeks later, September 6th, 2024, just completely decimating the video game for the fact that they got poor.
reception for the fact that Concord failed to gain traction peaking at only 697 simultaneous players
on Steam during its opening weekend so so many factors that played a part into the ultimate
downfall of Concord 25,000 total sales were estimated across both both PS5 and PC I just want
I'm trying to know if I invest $400 million into something and I'm not even seeing half of that
and I'm not even seeing a quarter of that. I mean, based on 25,000 total sales, that man
was doomed from the jump and that man as far as talking about the conglomerate as far as Sony.
Because my brother, you are not getting your money back. You spend $400 million on a game
that ultimately
was selling
the same amount as indie games.
That is just a no-no.
As far as future installments,
as far as DOC and battle passes for Concord.
So guess what?
They pulled the plug.
I mean, if only 0.2
of all PS5 players
were active on the game post-launch,
that should tell you that nobody cared.
Nobody cared that your 5V-5 hero shooter
that had all the promise in the world as far as giving you that unique scratch i mean that unique
gameplay element as far as hero shooters in the sense to compete with a overwatch with apex legends
only to have 0.2 percent of your fan base of your player base even tap into the game post-launch
that should let you know that it was doomed from the jump because wukong jumped out the gate putting
up monster type numbers and it's still one of the most play games astrobot to this day is still in
the top games for play PlayStation and even even undisputed somehow undisputed found his way into the top
10 as far as PlayStation games i know that game just came out but still like if you cannot drum
up anticipation when you initially launch then it's only downhill from
here because it was already an uphill battle but with a lot of people disappointed as far as the
people who actually played the game saying that all those unique gameplay mechanics that you
said was going to compete with the overwatch which with the valerent was inadequate because people
basically said that the overall lack of innovation left players wanting more and led them to
believe that there's no way you thought this video game was going to stand out as far as the
hero shooters for the simple fact that you're not innovating on anything as far as the genre.
So now when you're completely shut down and full refunds were offered to all purchases.
So now it's not even, oh, at least we made a little bit of money.
I mean, even though you wasn't going to even get close to your ROI, but getting into at least
getting some of the sales from its initial launch and keeping some of those to maybe move it to another
project, that is completely gone because now they're giving out full refunds to all purchases.
Which brings me to my next point.
As far as having digital copies and physical copies, this is one of the main reasons
physical copies will always be superior.
at any point if you own something digitally they can take it away from you to the point where i forget
where i seen it but i don't know if it was in l.a or something or but it was mandating companies uh no it was
mandating PlayStation and Xbox to put rent instead of buy on all the digital games on their uh marketplace
for the simple fact that you are basically licensing assets.
And whenever and whenever they want to take it down, they can because it's digital.
You basically don't own it.
There's no way for you to download an entire game, put it on a disk through the marketplace.
So you are essentially licensing a title, which is why people like physical copies
because then you can go into more of the lane of reselling it down the line because if you don't
know game preservation is at an all-time low for the simple fact that people just don't they don't take care
of the consoles the games and it moves so fast as far as upgrading technology to the point where
when they move on to the new game they usually sell the console and then when they sell it is all
battered and bruised and so as far as finding one in pristine condition i mean it's it's super hard
especially in this marketplace.
So anyways,
some of the post-launch expectations from Sony
before they decided to shut down Concord,
misaligned with players' expectations,
and because of the lack of innovation,
they ultimately felt like they was underserved
or basically cut short
when it came to the output of content from Concord.
So as far as Firewalk Studios that had a hand in making this game,
they have talked about ways to improve the game and maybe relaunching down the line.
But let me tell you something.
If you're going to keep putting out a game, pulling it, putting out a game, pulling it.
I mean, you've seen what happened to mota versus.
That game, let me make sure.
Is that game even out?
that game came and went like it never even released right multi versus release date
multi versus fell victim to the put it out take it away put it out take it away so when it
officially released in May 28th 2024 but in the same year I mean we're not even that far away
from May as far as this specific year we haven't talked about multi versus
since it came out.
And that is a testament to how people will forget
and maybe forgive.
But if they do forgive, best believe
they will not forget when you first gave them
that undercooked product
that they tried to charge you $40 for it.
Right?
So ultimately,
if you're trying to have a certain toxic,
a toxic positivity,
when it comes to the overall development of the game.
And if you're looking at the development team to provide crucial feedback,
I know, if you're looking for the development team to respond to your crucial feedback,
as far as it being addressed, let's just say it's probably not going to happen for the simple fact
that even they haven't got their stuff together as the game director for them has stepped down.
So what does this mean?
This means that they didn't believe in the game in the first place.
I mean, the game director stepped down.
They basically told him he was like, hey, the game that you was head director for is completely being shut down.
So either you step down or we fire you.
Like, they probably gave one of them spills.
And ultimately, he probably was like, you know what?
I don't want this to happen again for me.
So let me just step down and stop taking the brunt of the criticism when it comes to the lack of innovation and Concord's ultimate failure.
So anyways, I just think having fewer than 700 concurrent players on Steam, that is very interesting and intriguing to me for the simple fact that it had $400 million put into it.
And then the actual lead up to the game was like more than eight years, I believe.
I think it was an eight year development cycle.
So I just don't understand how you can have such a long development cycle and it still come out.
lackluster as far as the amount of content that's in the game for players to consume.
Like I just don't understand what you was using all those years for it as far as putting Concord together.
So anyways, that's just what I want to get into, you know, the overview of Concord is that it's dead.
It's no longer here.
It has passed away.
It may come back, but it's seemingly not looking good as far as it coming back as Conqueror.
Concord is ultimately one of the biggest failures in video game history.
So with that being said, click my link to your my bio, let me know on one of my social media is.
What do you think about the whole Concord situation and them being inevitably shut down by Sony after them investing over 400 million into the game?
And what do you think they could have done to get around them ultimately being taken down by Sony?
That's literally a play.
That's not a blackbook card.
That's a new one.
Nubis? In Power, they call him a nubis.
Hmm, anubis.
What? They can't stand a...
Come on, his legs is closer.
What? A little closer?
See, how can I understand that his legs
was closer? Like, in all all honesty,
you know what I'm saying?
Anyways, analytic dreams, video on Spotify
to see the video along with the audio
because I'm playing a very specific video
from the Goats' RDC world
as this pertains to our specific segment
that I'm about to get into right now.
You don't have a case.
Listen, you're the.
Pokemon CEO we understand you don't have a case right now I'm trying to help you out
I understand okay my client you're like you don't have a case with currently showing
side-by-side comparisons so I'm texting me hold on man who are you texting man I'm paying for this
time oh can you not wait yeah is they not even that's uh cremice
cremus how much time you spent on this game I had you I have to do what I have this time
You know every Pokemon.
Listen, I had to do what I had to do to make sure that I had a case for you.
I was looking.
That man wanted to answer.
What?
40.
40 hours.
This game has been out of weekend.
Tommy going by fast when you're playing it.
I see what's going on.
What's going on?
You're protecting him.
I'm your lawyer.
You're a fan of this game.
I'm not.
Man, fuck, Powell.
You pay me.
I play Pokemon, you little blue, brand.
Get up.
I was trying to build a case.
for you mm so I got on power world thinking about Pokemon
appeal to the emotional emotional aspect hour after hour after hour
slaving slaving powers now that is one thing about power world is this
an interesting correlation with slavery but we're not gonna go there right now
we're just gonna keep going and I looked at I put the gameplays of Power World
and Pokemon next to each other
and realized it was
perpendicular
All right
So yeah
That was the Ghost RDC World
Of course making a skit on how
Pokemon was talking to the lawyers
About Powero
Now this skit came out
Eight months ago
Why is that important
For the simple fact
That all the way up
All the way up to
Hold up a second
Okay here we go
So basically
September 18th
no actually September 19th,
2024, it was a specific address to whom it may concern.
Now, this lawsuit is pretty interesting for the simple fact that the
Pokemon company slash Nintendo, they do not play around when it comes to their
patents, right?
So when they come out and say Kyoto, Minami, Koo, I think that's how you said.
representative director and president shentaro furucawa think this how you said together with the
Pokemon company filed a patent oh also analytic dreams video on Spotify to see the video along with the
audio because i currently have the lawsuit up right now for you to see so anyways filed a patent
infringement lawsuit in the Tokyo district court against pocket pair ink who are the developers
and create us a power world, right?
Nintendo goes on to say,
this lawsuit seeks an injunction
against infringement
and compensation for damages
on the grounds that Power World
a game developed and released by the defendant
infringes
multiple patent rights.
Nintendo will continue
to take the necessary actions
against any infringement of its intellectual property,
including the Nintendo brand itself.
To protect the intellectual properties,
it has worked hard to establish over the years.
Can I get it, amen?
All right.
So after getting through that lawsuit,
you realize that ultimately,
they're just trying to big dog their way through this situation.
as technically they are suing over video game mechanics, gameplay mechanics, right?
And this is very imperative that you understand because if Nintendo patents these basic mechanics,
because that's basically the lawsuit.
If you read the lawsuit, it's patenting is talking about the infringement of its intellectual property
when it comes to certain basic mechanics.
Now, as far as the designs, I feel very confident saying Nintendo has a case.
But as far as the specific lawsuit, having them suing over basic gameplay mechanics,
I think it's a very interesting way in the way they're going about saying that they clone their game.
Because even though Power World may seem uninspired, don't forget, Nintendo.
is one of the biggest dogs in the industry when it comes to having lawyers on deck so power world
is very much in danger in danger but if they're suing over basic gameplay mechanics like point
and click and a lot of other mechanics when it comes to the overall compensation of uh or damages
and it's basing their claims and a lot of things that they they they
they could sue other indie games with.
I think this is a dangerous precedent because if you have any monster collection slash
fighting games, a lot of these basic mechanics that are in the lawsuit are too vague
for them to have a winning case on.
But they did file this lawsuit as you've seen previously when I had it up on the screen.
They filed this in Tokyo.
So as far as Power World and them being developed by PocketPair, which is an action, adventure survival game, of course, but it does have monster catching mechanics.
That is why a lot of people have labeled this game, Pokemon with guns.
Because if you don't know, this game came out in January 2024 and basically just broke all the records, right?
It was on top as far as most played games on Steam.
And I think it came to the consoles even later because,
at first I believe it was only on the PC platform but now it's coming over to I think it was
mobile via the the the PubG developers I guess they're helping them with the mobile aspect
and integration of the game but now currently recently Power World is also on
PS5 so with that being said they launched in PS5 after
the whole lawsuit as far as Nintendo going at Power World, which is technically the lawsuit and where it's at is the largest market for Power World because, you know, it's China.
So if Power World's largest market is in China where all these free to play models dominate that specific region, then Nintendo going at them seems to be because of, it's not even friendly fire, because of competition.
in their backyard, right?
Because the whole specificities of the lawsuit is the aiming and releasing a capture item, right?
Then you have changing a creature's status to own by the player.
So with that being said, there's concerns with this whole lawsuit because those are broad
gameplay mechanics, not even talking about some of the things that Nintendo has grounds to stand on
when it comes to Power World because everybody sees the influence, the inspiration when it comes to
Nintendo and Power World of developers pocket pair, right? But the overall specifics of the lawsuit
having aiming and releasing a capture item, changing the creature's status to own by the player,
I mean, these are a lot of basic mechanics and general mechanics.
They are in a lot of monsters catching games.
So as far as the legal proceedings, being in the Tokyo District Court and having these, quote-unquote, multiple patent infringements,
why not be more specific in the mechanics instead of talking about the capturing and the changing the creature status being your main complaints for power?
Because then they're going to look at it and talk about how it's a general.
feature as far as on pocket well i hope pocket pair lawyer is up because you know how that one movie
and um i think it was called the network classic mind you i think Andrew garfield said it he's like
i'm not coming back for half i'm coming back for everything right now Nintendo is trying to come back
for everything because even despite of the lawsuit power world has only continued development
i don't even think they've responded to the lawsuit because Nintendo put this out themselves talking about
how they are going to take the necessary actions against any infringement against this intellectual
property, right?
Because I remember, if you look up Power World, analytic dreams, it should pop up in whatever
platform you're listening on.
But I've been breaking down to Power World versus Nintendo battle for a while.
And I remember bringing up an article where they talked about how they are looking into
the similarities between Power World and Nintendo, and they take it very serious.
And so now for them to officially file a lawsuit.
And despite the lawsuit, PocketPair only just continuing to update or release updates for Power World and releasing it on PS5 because that was a big thing.
The release of Power World on PS5 outside of Japan was the continuation of the development process.
And I guess it is on Xbox.
I don't know why I didn't think it was on there.
So it's on PC, Xbox, and PS5, right?
So the mobile version is another thing that's one of the future developments
as they are using the PubG developers to give a faithful reinterpret mobile version of Power.
So all of these strategic moves are to diversify their portfolio.
But guess what?
Now with Nintendo on the horizon, basically growing in the fact that they want their compensation due to
damages it seems that this is going to influence how future intellectual property disputes in
gaming are handled or how games evolve in the face of legal challenges so this is a pretty big deal
we knew it was coming down the pipeline we just did not think it was going to happen in this way that
Nintendo was going to be so sloppy in the in the specificities of the lawsuit because even though
The game launched on PC and Xbox January 2024 and then later launched on PS5.
Even though they're faithfully, they're using Kraftin, which is the developers for the
PubG Mobile to adapt Power for mobile games, we are still seeing a lot of hoop law when it
comes to the overall lawsuit to the point where pocketware is just not addressing the lawsuit
at all. They're acting like it's not even happened.
And they are claiming that
or they're just seemingly
acting like they're just unaware of the
accusation of them violating
the Nintendo IP, right?
And because of the game technically
performing well, maybe not as well
well, definitely not as well as far as objectively
speaking when it first came out,
it still has had a certain player base to the point
where Nintendo seeks
to have certain
repercussions set down a set to have a broader crackdown as far as people trying to
infringe upon the IP of Nintendo so when Nintendo being so aggressive towards power
do you think they'll come a little bit more correct because the people seem to be on
power world side because if you look at it a lot of people are saying that the whole
Nintendo lawsuit as far as the generic
mechanics that they're trying to sue power it on
will only stifle competition and innovation within the genre.
So particularly in Japan, where Power
World is just not just as big, that's disrespectful.
It's becoming a competitor to Nintendo, right?
And so this has led to a huge divide
in the Japan audience as far as the gamers variety.
and even content creators in Japan
facing backlash for even supporting
or playing a game like Power World.
That's how serious is getting in Japan.
So whenever this lawsuit came about
and you already had lines drawn in the sand,
you realize that the success of Power World
is now officially being addressed by Nintendo
due to legal,
well via legal assets.
actions. So overall, I mean, this case is going to be pretty huge. It's going to set a precedent
in the gaming industry in regards to game mechanics and how the patent and treated. And this is going to
have a huge impact on future development practices as far as, you know, monster catching type
games or labeling a creature captured after you have it in labeling the status owned by the player. Like,
I think those are pretty broad, but honestly, when it comes to Power World's success, Nintendo, like I just said, they're not coming back for half.
They're coming back for everything.
So anyways, click my link to your bio.
Let me know on one of my social medias.
What do you think about Power World versus Nintendo in them seeking compensation for the damages on grounds that Power World has infringed multiple patent rights?
and what is your
stand, what is your thinking
and where do you stand
as far as Nintendo versus Power World?
The NBA announcing the 75 plus billion dollar
TV rights deal with ESPN, Amazon,
and our parent company, NBC,
now Warner Brothers Discovery suing over that agreement.
How does this deal transform the future of sports streaming?
That is the focus of today's tech check with Julia Boyle.
I guess Big Bank really does take Little Bank
as the wealthier entity has showcased on the front lines that they indeed are the big dogs when it comes to
completely stripping the NBA away from T&T to the point where TNT as part of Warner Bros
tried to match the offer made by Amazon for the package of NBA media rights and of course
NBA
looking at Amazon
and the amount of money
that they're bringing in
compared to TNT
because if you don't know
Amazon has a
market capitalization
of over $1 trillion
dollars. Yes,
$1 trillion with a TNT
under Warner Bros Discovery
so we're going to focus on Warner Bros, right?
I don't even want to focus on TNT.
Warner Bros. in its entirety
has a market
capitalization of $30 billion.
Now I'm no mathematician, right?
But I would say that that's significantly lower when comparing that to Amazon.
So MBA is looking at Amazon, they're looking at TNT.
They're basically making a business decision on who could bring more eyes to the NBA product
as far as MBA, I don't know, as far as TNT versus Amazon.
And let's just say, when it comes to the global reach,
is really not even close.
I mean, the significant advantage of streaming nowadays
compared to cable is more obvious than ever,
as Amazon Prime is available in over 200 countries and territories.
So with that, it gives it a huge,
competitive advantage over the traditional cable networks like a TNT.
Even though everybody loves Charles, Chuck, Kenny, and Shaq,
they failed to realize that in totality, they really are pailing in comparison to Amazon.
As far as the way the Amazon can increase accessibility through smartphone, tablets, smart
TVs, things of that nature, enhancing the viewing experience as far as being more immersive,
interactive.
And then, of course, the global reach of Amazon's global platform as far as them broadcasting
to the masses.
And then to the point where Warner Bros. had enough.
There was like, goodness, the way the NBA doing tricks on it, we suing.
Because y'all ain't fend to just hype up Amazon like this.
See that we match the deal financially.
then still not accept our offer.
So guess what?
Now, under the terms of our existing contract, which is in the midst of the legal battle,
they said, talking about Warner Bros.
That y'all have to take our match as far as contractually because it had the right to match
any third party offer specifically, well, no, including.
Amazon. So an NBA says that they are not accepting their matching offer.
Well, now Warner Bros are like, hold on now. I know the same what I think it is because
this contract right here says. So now the lawsuit insists. MBA, of course, came out and
basically said that they are contending that Warner Bros. response wasn't a match of Amazon's
offer.
So the counter offer was not matching the amount of incentive that Amazon was offering, which is why they went with Amazon.
Warner Bros is trying to make it seem like they matched the offer dollar for dollar, and MBA just chose Amazon.
But in all intents and purposes, this is very interesting because we haven't heard any more advancements as far as the legal proceedings.
Well, we haven't heard any like settlements or any decision made because the legal proceedings are ongoing.
As of October 11th, 2024, these legal proceedings are still ongoing.
So NBA versus Warner Bros is very interesting.
And for me specifically, because industry beef is one thing.
Conglomerate beefs is a whole other entity versus entity entity.
Let's see which bank takes over the other.
bank because ultimately the NBA seems to be going in the way of streaming and they don't want to
seem as an older product staying on traditional stuff like cable right so the partnership between t
and t and b a nba nba began back in 1989 so such a long-standing relationship and now the nba is
throwing that away to go for the new batty in town, which is Amazon, that's set to start
for the 2025-2020s season. So now the NBA will be broadcasting or have broadcasting agreements
with ESPN NBC in Amazon. So Amazon replacing TNT is beyond unfortunate, but it was inevitable as
streaming has overtook traditional means as far as watching television.
So anyways, let's get back into the breakdown.
Forston on a day, Julia, with so much media.
Once again, analytic dreams on Spotify to see the video along with the audio.
It's not just about sports streaming.
This is about streaming in the future of media.
That is what is front and center for the NBA $77 billion, $11 year deal with Disney ESPN,
Comcast, NBC Sports and Peacock and Amazon Prime Video for NBA.
and WNBA games starting the 2025-2020s season.
Now, streaming is also a key reason why Warner Brothers Discovery is suing the NBA for rejecting
its matching bid for Amazon's package of games.
Bequiry downgrading the stock today from outperform to neutral on T&T sports losing its
long-term partner, saying, quote, NBA rights were important in our view for the future success
of the Max streaming service.
Now with two new partners and ESPN in an expanded role,
the NBA is following consumers onto new platforms.
And all NBA national games will be available on streaming services,
Prime Video, Peacock, and on ESPN's flagship streaming service,
which is set to launch next year, along with Venue,
which is the coming sports streaming bundle with Fox Sports and TNT Sports
set to launch sometime this fall.
Now, streaming rights plus sports growing in value in this fragmented media market
are why the media giants are paying more than double the prior deals.
Disney ESPN paying about $2.6 billion a year, NBC Sports, some $2.5 billion, and Amazon about $1.9 billion.
Now, those partners all talked about the streaming value that they're going to get from paying those billions of dollars.
Comcast President Mike Kavanaugh saying the deal, quote, will accelerate Peacock's subscriber growth and financial scale, while ESPN chief Jimmy Petarro saying the deal will, quote, fuel ESPN's digital future.
And there was more news in the news.
the streaming wars today, the bundle of Disney Plus as well as Hulu and Warner Brothers
Discoveries Max is launching today. But unless Warner Brothers...
All right, I already covered that. So, oh, if you want to hear me speak about that, just look
up Disney analytic dreams and it should pop up. But anyways, T&T ultimately just lost their
significant other because there's significant other in, you know, referring to NBA.
chose up.
That's simply what it is
in more simplistic fashion.
NBA chose up and that
choose
and choosing to choose up
but I think I just confused myself.
Basically NBA
choosing up led to
Warner Bros. getting a little tight
so now they're spinning the block on the
X to sue. Where have we
heard that before? It's just interesting
when you see it in the
landscape of a conglomerate
versus conglomerate because that's usually something that rarely happens.
But this would be interesting.
I can't wait to see how this eventually like ends.
I can't wait to see how this ends because this is a longstanding partnership
between the NBA and T&T.
So for Warner to sue NBA, I mean, it's getting really serious as far as the relationship
ending.
It's like a marriage that you've had since 1989.
And now the NBA chose up as far as Amazon.
being the new batty in town and now you're trying to sue i can't wait to see how this ends up but
anyways click my link to your my bio let me know one of my social medias what do you think about
NBA versus tn t and also whose side are you on in this downright saddening debacle of a marriage
of course shameless plug to my youtube channel analytic dreams notorious mass effect because
say we'd be having some interesting conversations well y'all do over here on the short side of my
youtube channel because let me tell you there's a lot of interesting clips that's went up and one of them
of course pertains to this specific segment and talking about j z versus dame dash now let's just
listen to dame dash give some advice that is totally not hate right anyway let's get into what he has to say
right now what do you think about the way they're portraying jay right now you know to be honest i
really hope like the things that they're saying are like they're terrible terrible
like yo it's hard for me to even think that any of those things can be true
i don't want them to be true he don't want that you know they're saying they're gonna pick
them up next year i don't want to say there it is there it is ladies
and gentlemen it's a subtle signs of a hater that they expose their true intentions right so
they say they're gonna pick them up next year what did you hear that from somebody asked dame dash
where he got that from where is your what is your source my brother they say they're gonna pick
him up next year who they gonna pick up sean carter anyways let's keep going to see that man go to
Jim. As much as he's been to me, you know, unfair toward or not unfair the way he'd be fucking
with my money. Not messing with his money.
I want to hope that that's the worst that he's been doing.
I would never want to hear like, Jay, the freak off point. Like, that's crazy.
See? Who brought it up?
The shit they're saying. And I just be wondering why nobody, he don't say nothing about it.
You know what I'm saying? Because it's terrible.
What do you think about the way they're...
So obviously that's the Dame Dash side of things.
We're going to get to Jaguar right in a second.
But basically, Dame Dash comes across as a hater.
But he does have certain accomplishments in the hip-hop field to where his word needs to be taken with a level of seriousness.
Right.
But also should probably take it with a grain of salt for the simple fact that he is trying to currently sell his portion of ownership for Jay-Z's debut album, Reasonable Doubt.
which he came back to say that J. Z was trying to step on it by saying that the
earnings are going to come back to him at the end of the day.
So why even purchase it?
Right.
So of course, when Dame Dash is pointing that out, he's probably a little salty on the fact
that J.Z can pull these type of tactics to squash whatever he's trying to do as far as making
monetary gain off of JZ and his IP.
So anyways, with Dame Dash.
When it comes to Dame Dash's shares, it's potentially being tied to an 800,000 judgment against Dame Dash for copyright infringement and defamation.
Now, this is an actual lawsuit you can look up as the judge clarified that the asset in the question is Dash's interest in Rockefeller, not directly the works owned.
buy it. And of course, Jay-Z doesn't have to comment on it because his lawyer, I forget his
name, I think I posted it, his lawyer, I think is Alex Spiro, but I don't want to, I don't want to just,
oh yeah, okay, so it's Alex Spiro because Jay-Z's like famous lawyer at this point. I mean,
famously known for representing Jay-Z and, you know, anything in his likeness. He's came out and
spoke on certain things when it came to lawsuits but you notice how j z does not really say too many
things as far as directly to the public there's a reason why j z rap i got lawyers like shooters
because i'm throwing them ems and they're doing a pro bono i'm definitely i definitely messed
it up let me just look it up it's my fault lawyers like shooters
because i'm throwing them ms because he was like
this is not a hymn because i'm him i think it was god's did yes bringing up 99 problems that's
definitely not it god did jz all right so the best rapper ever alive and dead the best rapper ever
of all time getting into his lyrics right now he basically said ah here we go i'm gonna pull this up
just for y'all because uh i know y'all don't really listen to real hip-hop like that so you know
me once in a while i got to you know me bring up some some lyrics that's just like gospel and hip hop
you know what i'm saying anyways one of the greatest rappers of all time j z gave us a bar saying
for those who make the laws i'ma always have smoke for them i got lawyers like shooters
working pro bono for him as a favor because i throw them ems in memory of tilo i pray none of your
people die over jail phones again
Boy, if they ain't bars, I ain't gonna lie to you.
Cause somebody if finna be over jail phones for a minute, but I ain't gonna say who.
Anyways, again to Jay-Z and Dame Dash, right?
The biggest thing when it comes to Jay-Z is that he talks through his lawyers,
and he rarely completely, he rarely directly addresses the public only if it's like at a
war show or if it's at a performance or if he's speaking at an event, he may hint towards certain things.
he has problems with.
But as far as Dame Dash,
it's really not that serious.
You know, he's trying to sell
his share of reasonable doubt.
Jay-Z always gives him the props
that Dame Dash deserves
as far as being
a very pivotal
contributor to his rise to fame.
But ultimately, if you fall out,
I mean, it's only so many times
somebody can share your praises
and you're saying that he's like
the scum of the earth
and he may get picked up next year
by the feds and all this source
of craziness, right?
It's actually insane.
So then combine that with the fact that now we have Jaguar Right.
Yes, ladies and gentlemen, we are talking about Jaguar Right, unfortunately,
but she has said something that cannot be ignored.
And here is that right here.
There's no vindication for me because for four years I've been screaming not just Diddy,
but Diddy and Jay-Z are monsters and the victim-making machine kept going on.
Jay-Z has been notable by his silence.
since these charges were brought against Diddy?
Why do you think that is?
Because that's what he does.
He starts little fires everywhere,
forces everyone involved to go and carry water
while he sneaks away without a response.
That changes now, Sean.
You must respond.
You have no choice.
Harvey Weinstein,
Jeffrey Epstein,
Robert Kelly, Sean Combs, have one person in common, professionally and privately.
Sean Carter.
Why is she talking like she fin to audition for the next Marvel super villain?
What in the world?
So anyways, Jaguar Wright, of course, jumped out the window, said a lot of false claims to the point where, if I could find this,
to the point where
Jay-Z's lawyer came out to speak on this.
Once again, follow my Instagram.
Hold up.
I'm pulling it up right now.
I think I have it on my Instagram.
Okay, here we go.
Yeah, make sure to follow my Instagram.
Shout out to all the people
who've been following my Instagram so far.
But yeah, Analytic underscore Dreams on Instagram
to see my reels and posts
about like different segments
and, of course, hip-hop tidbits like this.
But of course, Alex Spiro,
definitely known for covering Jay-Z
and representing him,
came out to address
Jaguar Wright
being on the
what was the show called
the Pyrus Morgan Show
so he came out to talk about
that right here
they not only caused harm here
but they are also droning out the voices
of real victims and by doing that to get
clicks it didn't just
harm the Carter's what
what he did effectively was to drone out
the voices of actual victims
in an ongoing case in a
ongoing investigation, and that was too much for me.
Are you in the process of making sure that it is taken down everywhere?
What I am here to say is that in a situation as serious as this,
somebody who puts themselves out as a journalist, should not effectively take
advantage of the situation and exploit somebody in this way.
And so that's the real reason for action.
Does it strike you a little bit that there's been a lot of silence in Hollywood, in the wake of
all of this. Well, as to the Carter's, you know, I can tell you that when they put their foot down
on something as they did here, you know, they are sending a message. And if they can't stand up
and make sure right from wrong, then who can't? And by doing that, you know, all right, so
of course, that was Alex Spiro talking about how Jaguar Wright was just completely spewing
nonsense on the Peers Morgan show. And of course, there's been a mixed reception.
It's been mixed reception to Jaguar Wright.
But one thing is for certain is that Jay-Z is not going to sit to the side while Dame Dash and Jaguar Wright do some type of fusion bomb or whatever and try to discredit his name to the public.
So, of course, when Alex Spiro comes out, people are also pointing out the fact that Alex Spiro has been hired by the Tupac Shakur family in an interesting plot twist of the century.
As far as the case, as far as solving Tupac's murder, Alex Spiro has been put on the case.
Who does Alex Spiro represent?
Mostly, JZ.
Who is one of JZ's biggest homies?
Diddy?
Why in the world would Alex Spiro be hired by Tupac Shakira's family to investigate the potential links between Sean Dittie Combs and Tupac?
do y'all not know the amount of price the amount of uh monetary gain it takes to hire a person like
alex spiro it'd be a shame if the lyrics of god did came back to fruition as far as tupac
shepuro tupac shapiro is crazy um as far as alec spiro doing this pro bono the two
Tupac's family on behalf of Jay-Z.
So anyways, and this follows the arrest of Kee-D. Davis,
who alleges that Sean Diddy already offered him a million for the hit on Tupac Shakura.
So this is not nothing new.
Diddy has a lot of things that's happening against him.
But when it comes to Jay-Z, him being targeted by damn dash,
him being targeted by Jaguar, right?
him being just publicly
skewed
as far as the perception
in a way of making him seem
like he's just as guilty
as did he?
It's a very interesting
subject matter
simply for the fact that
Drake also
has put up interesting posts
in the aftermath of this attack
seemingly, publicly on JZ
and posting
Salange in the same outfit that a certain event happened.
What is that event you might ask?
Well, it's when Salonge put hands, feet, and elbows on Jay-Z for allegedly cheating on
Beyonce.
So anyways, when it comes to that, and Drake posting the same outfit as far as the night
that she beat up Jay-Z.
and then also posting a picture of Aaliyah
Like I think there has to be a real conversation here it is right here
Analytic Dreams video on Spotify
See the video along with the audio but these are the Instagram posts that
Drake put up to poke fun at JZ
I think it's very interesting that Drake is going down this route
And that Jay-Z is behind the scenes handling certain stuff
But Drake is putting out certain hints to where the rumors that involve
Aaliyah and Jay-Z is
is now on the forefront and now people talk about it.
But instead, certain platforms refuse to talk about that
and instead focus on other things like Drake being just crashing out
and him not really understanding how to take a loss.
So two things can be true.
Drake cannot understand how to take a loss.
Jay-Z could have certain dealings with Alia
that should be revisited in today's Lime Light.
And that's why I'm going to leave it at.
So anyways, click my link to my bio.
Let me know one of my social media.
What do you think about the ongoing legal battles and public disputes amongst Jay-Z Dame and Jaguar Wright and whose side are you on?
I'm trying to find niggas. I've been cuffed up too long. Let me remind niggas.
Yeah, hold on now. Hold on now. She got bars, don't she? Anyways, analytic dreams video on Spotify to see the video along with the audio, but also, shameless plug to my YouTube, analytic dreams, the 24th.
as you can see right here and essentially my shorts page is one that a lot of
people love to conversate on and commerce amongst themselves digitally and throw
the opinions back and forth but more specifically this Cardi B clip pertains to the
specific segment so we're gonna get into it right now
what I'm fine niggas yeah okay let me remind let me remind oh my fault
my fault yo when I tell you
Nick, the narcissism is all time high.
All time.
I really be feeling like, when people be saying like narcissists, narcissists,
niggas is narcissists and everything, I'd be like, do y'all even know what that word mean?
Do y'all really know?
But now I really do see what's the fucking narcissist.
You know what's so crazy?
What's so crazy?
Right?
Mm.
You know what I find so crazy?
What you find crazy?
Think that they could just buy a bitch.
You know what I'm saying?
Dang.
I love me shit, but you can
That's that financial abuse
Melissa Ford was talking about
Anyways, let's see course
Shout out to the poll
The Joe Budin podcast listeners
It's crazy that a nigga think that that's enough
It's not enough honey
It's just not enough
And you know what's so funny too
I find they funny
What's funny
The niggas think that they can fuck on anything
Mm
But when I
Uh oh
When I start talking
Uh oh no
We gotta cut it off
She's talking too spicy
Nah nah nah nah
What would Drake say
Like nah
No, we don't want that.
We don't want that.
Shout out to Stefan Diggs in future.
Anyways, Cardi B and Offset currently are going through a very interesting debacle, right?
Because there's a whole divorce happening.
And due to the ongoing divorce, there's been a lot of instances where I'm not going to say Offset is just straight up stalking Cardi B.
but seemingly
Offset's just
coincidentally
popping up at all these different
events, right?
I mean, as far as
Offset and Cardi B
being at the same club,
as far as Offsett
being at her grandma's
birthday party,
let's see if I can find it.
Cardi's grandma
party.
Because I do believe he was
at that as well the same weekend yeah the same so the same weekend he showed up at the club right
carty b's grandmas 86 birthday offset popped up to which it's very interesting because in all
actuality it's not like to hate each other well carty b would have got a restraining order to make it
legal uh to make it illegal for him to be in her vicinity right but she didn't and that's the baby dad
of her three kids.
So I think she probably would not do that because I don't, well, I don't know because I'm
not going to say Offset is just completely stalking Cardi B.
But I mean, when they were going through the divorce, I think a year or two ago,
Offset did pop up at a lot of random places when Cardi B was performing to give her a bouquet of
flowers.
And even though a lot of people said that's just how you get your wife back and
is all fair in love and war.
Somebody has to point out that offset
is a little stalker-ish when it comes to Cardi B.
Now, if there's one girl, you'll probably want to stalk
and you probably will want to get back
and you will want to keep as far as her
already being your wife and having three kids with,
it's probably a Cardi B. I mean, at this point, it's safe to say
Cardi B is one of the more influential figures in hip-hop.
in the past five to ten years.
So when it comes to the Migos,
obviously there are no slouch themselves
as they've given us a plethora of just straight up classics
to the point where they will be forever ingrained in hip-hop history.
So when Offsay and Cardi B get together, well, that's not the timeline.
Offset helped Cardi B get to her career.
And if you don't know that, then, hey, now you know.
Cardi B basically, I'm not going to say it was a nobody,
but she was putting out music wasn't gaining any traction she was still stripping and things of that nature
offset came in basically was like her a and r started to help her formulate certain musical sounds
and then she blew up with the kodak black remix as far as the uh i think it was called no flocking
and then she put out her remix and called that bodak yellow so there's the timeline as far as like
offset finding cardy b as not carty b and then cultivating her developing her to this point where
that's why I think she stays with him for the long call because emphatically he helped your career get to a point where I'm not so sure if that would have happened so fast if it wasn't for the cosine of Cardi if it wasn't for the cosine of offset who was scorching hot at the time like y'all have to remember bad and bougie is I think Migo's most popular song ever and that was basically offset's chorus right so with that being said I think that helped a lot
when it came to Cardi B's public perception.
But one thing's for certain is that Cardi B kept it going to the point where now she has a
little bit more leverage as far as continuing her own stardom outside of music because she hasn't
released the music.
She hasn't released the album since 2018, I believe.
So, and she's not on the charts.
I don't even have to look.
She's not on the charts.
Offset's not on the charts.
Musically, I would say they're at the all-time low as far as relevancy.
But still, when it comes to Cardi B, she.
she has so many deals outside it from rj3 she has so many deals outside of hip hop to the point where
now she doesn't have to focus on putting out music where she hasn't put out music since i mean she
hasn't put out a project excuse me since 2018 with invasion of privacy and a lot of people
act like that's her only album but remember before offset she had 2016 album 2017 album and they
were both called gangster let's just say
female dog, for lack of a better word.
Because this is a PG podcast,
and you know, we don't get into cuss words over here.
But anyways, so volume 1 and 2, 2016,
2017 really didn't gain any traction.
And then, of course, with the cultivation,
with the mentorship of offset,
she blossomed to what we know Cardi B as today,
especially leading up to invasion of privacy.
So anyways,
Cardi B and offset splitting
as far as this specific divorce,
You can see it coming because Offset is just a dog.
And all that tends to purposes, let's just say Offset is the most egregious cheater in history.
Let's just put it like that.
To get caught time and time and time and time again on forefront to the point where I think the straw that broke the Campbell's back was when Chris Sean Rock, out of all people, was exposed of being with.
offset because when blue face said the day in the time specifically so cardi b could go back look at the
cameras and be like oh he's not lying christian did come here in our house you know what and then that's
probably when it happened so offset just has to have better management of his man parts right that's the
most pg way i could put it let's just say offset and his dealings if they're not going to hold it down my brother
you just got to stop.
And Chris Sean Rock, my brother offset, Chris Sean Rock, like, come on, man.
Like, we have to have real conversations about management of man parts.
Because this man offset is just, you know, it's just bad management all over the place with that.
So anyways, so he's been wilding and getting caught multiple times.
So now Cardi B is like, you know what?
You've been embarrassing.
You've been embarrassing me for too long.
everybody's coming out talking about all the women you didn't slept with and i'm leaving you so now
offset and carty 2017 well the the relationship that started in 2017 is no longer in
24 because of the ongoing divorce now that doesn't discredit the fact that they have culture
her the first child in 2018
wave the second child in 2021
and then the third child in 2024
which showcases that
Cardi B seemingly wants to have all her children
from my baby dad unless she's going to pull in the cannon
and pop out like 15 more from like five other men
I think that she wants
offset to be ultimately her baby dad
and the family so
even though it's a tumultuous relationship
of course. And even though Cardi B is pregnant, which there's a lot of things when it comes to that,
you know, in her emotional state because of her being pregnant, which to that you have to be
sensitive because when a pregnant woman is having episodes, usually you have to approach those
episodes with more grace because she is indeed pregnant, you know? So,
that has to be taken into consideration.
And guess what?
Offsendant taken into consideration.
So Offset said himself that Cardi B slept with a man while she had a baby in a stomach.
Now, ladies and gentlemen, this is a PG podcast.
So even broaching this portion of the offset and Cardi B debacle is just upsetting and very saddening for my heart.
Because no telling if it's true or not.
but for Cardi B to come out and literally tweet out
and did seemingly in response to what he said
I just have to think she's lying
just no way
Laura knows what type of sin that is
what in the world
so I'm just going to automatically assume
Cardi B only said that
to get under offset skin
so that's why I'm gonna leave it ladies and gentlemen
As far as the ongoing financial aspects of offset, you know, asking for certain things in a divorce, you know, basically wanting certain compensation for them divorcing.
We'll only see how that plays out the future only until personally, I do think they'll get back together.
I'm not going to lie to you.
I think it's one of those toxic relationships where they blow up on each other.
And then after, you know, maybe it's just more fire after, you know, y'all argue.
you i think it's one of those type of uh relationships so in general offset needs to stop whiling and
uh carty b should just like i'm not gonna lie i'm all for carty b getting her get back i ain't
a lie to you but it is different it is different double standards exists and it's not right
you know it's just not right we need equality honestly but they they do exist and them double
standards and let me just tell you if what offset said is even how i don't even want to go there but let's
just say you do hey that's that's that's that's a interesting move what j z say you didn't have to give me back
like that so anyways click my link to your in my bio let me know one of my social medias what do you think
of cardi b and offset amongst their ongoing divorce and ultimately in the debacle of carty b
and offset whose side are you on getting into the oregon
overview of episode 142, which was titled, Is There a New Big Three in Hip Hop?
For the simple fact that future has been having an undeniable run when it comes to releasing
music and it captivating the masses. So as far as being the only rapper ever, of all time,
to have three number one albums in the span of six months when you've had nothing but pop
and country artists running the charts,
it's beyond impressive,
especially in today's landscape of hip,
of hip hop not selling as much as he usually does.
So that is why I think we have to have a real conversation
on if there's a new big three in hip hop.
And of course,
when me recording this,
things come out and sentiment change.
So in regards to that,
Jermaine just put out,
out a track like a day or two ago that I've already covered if you look at Port Antonio
analytic dreams it should pop up but basically when they oh that was my be like hey that's me
but anyways when it comes to Port Antonio it addresses the Kendrick and Drake beef but ultimately gives
even more credence to this episode titled for the simple fact that he says they took me out of the
big three and now finally free but my brother if
If you're going to say that, then we're just going to gladly scoot you to the side and put people who actually deserve to be in the hip hop top three.
Because best believe, future is not ducking no smoke.
I know he ain't no lyrical, miracle, spiritual type person, but hey, he will make an anthem about hitting your girl.
And they're going to quantify it as a disc track.
I mean, I just hit your girl on some Gucci flip-flops, even though it's the most ignorant track ever.
It's just the ultimate Scotty Pippin' diss.
Anyways, so yeah, we need to have a real discussion.
when it comes to the big three debate in the hip hop so also we got into little teca's
album that he just released titled plan a and just talked about how that album hold up i don't know why
um yeah give me one second i was like i don't know why i just don't have my notes put up when i go
over this stuff yeah we went over a little teca plan a album which basically released september 20th
and the reason i wanted to get into it is for the simple fact that i did not
think that little teka had the amount of support that he had as far as him earning 42,000
first week sales and him being able to build up that type of hype amongst his fan base and
debuting at number nine on the billboard 200 which is definitely impressive when you know i got to
keep using his name because now he's the scale for what can happen when you fall off but when
you have a person like big shan go on a huge media run as far as promotion
and still only sales 22,000 first week, you come to realize that anything above 30 to 40,000
should be counted as a W, especially in hip hop when you're not to figure your head at the label,
right? So Little Tech could play in A selling 42,000 first week sales is beyond impressive.
Then we switched gears and got into a little news talk, but still was in music as poor one out for TikTok because TikTok music will be shutting down.
November 28th.
Sad day in history, but you already knew it was going to happen as when it originally
launched in July 2023 and Indonesia and Brazil, nobody saw that it would be so impactful
to the masses, but still never reached the U.S.
So now TikTok just wants to basically focus on its main platform rather than competing in
the streaming market.
So they are unfortunately shutting down.
TikTok music. Then we got into the big corporation that I enjoy as far as their creative IP and that is Marvel as they have done the ultimate cheat code and created their own podcast under the Marvel brand. I mean, talk about the cheat code. I mean, never run out of things to talk about, right? So with that being considered, Marvel podcast is basically been out on June 26 and there will be new episodes every Wednesday covering the Marvel.
universe of course but also more specifically comics gaming film tv shows etc right so that was something i wanted
to touch on for the simple fact that i'm a huge marvel fan so i enjoy touching on that uh marvel podcast so anyways
then we switched gears and got into a little gaming as more to combat one d oc boy don't they
love you and hate you when you're gone but in more to combat one's case
They hated you while you was here, and they still hate you while you're gone.
So this DOC didn't do anything.
I mean, you announced noob, Sabot is coming to the game.
But guess what?
We don't care, my brother.
You gave us a bare-bones game, charged us $70,
charged us even more for the first DOC,
and now you want to come back and charge us for a $40 DLC,
like you just made a whole new game.
My brother, you have to kick rocks.
So, MK1, DOC just got completely disregarded.
And that was emphatically the gamers coming together to be a good consumer.
Then we got into EA Sports FC25 as that video game obviously represents the most popular sport as far as globally.
And it being a football slash soccer game, I got into a lot of the gaming mechanics as far as like what people was enjoying.
Also, I got into the rush game mode, which is a 5 v5 fast pace similar.
fast-paced mode similar to
FIFA Street and I talked about how
NBA and NFL could take a page out of the playbook
and basically make a lot of different
colorful styles as far as the NBA
Street and NFL Street but just put it into
the base game as a different mode seemingly
like EA Sports FC did with the rush mode
so anyways that was
positively received and you know
it being a sports game is definitely going to be on the top selling list for a while,
especially on every platform being considered.
So then we got into zucosis.
Now, zucosis is something not being covered,
but I wanted to follow up on the covers for the simple fact that the game is out now
and all,
well, I'm not going to say all platforms.
I don't, I think it's just on Steam.
I do believe it's just on Steam.
Actually, let me fact check that right quick.
So the video game.
Let's see.
So yeah, the video game Zucosis that's, you know, inspired by Five Nights and Freddy's Resonate Evil and Planet Zoo is out.
Yeah, only on PC via steam.
So this is basically you being a zookeeper where animals mutate due to a virus.
So you're essentially just trying to keep the zoo from a potential outbreak as you are a rookie zookeeper.
So such a fire premise.
And apparently everybody in the mom is saying that fire idea, fire setting,
it's just an execution that's just subpart, which is sad.
And it was sad to hear because I thought this would have a lot of promise as far as a video game is considered.
So anyways, then we switched gears and got into Concord.
as Concord
it was
yeah then we got to Concord
as that has been
undoubtedly the most
unfathomable
just disastrous
fall from grace
we've ever seen
I mean imagine putting 400 million
in development for a video game
only to cancel it
a week or two after it came out
and basing it in 25,000 total sales
being the reason
why you ended up taking the game outback and shooting it.
Sadden history, but hey, only 0.2% of all PS5 players were even active on the game.
So, hey, I guess nobody cares.
Then we got into, of course, the main topic when it comes to gaming,
yeah, when it came to gaming, which is Kakarai, aka Goku,
as Dragon Ball Sparkin Zero has came and took the,
masses by storm as ultimately appealing to your fan base showing them that you put time and effort into
something where they have watched as a kid in reference to the anime and now in the video game format
they can control the storyline and their favorite characters it's just something to be applauded
as dragon ball spark and zero is getting rave reviews across the board and everybody is
is saying that it's a solid rendition of a Dragon Ball fighting game as far as the arena
fighter is considered and with the season pass offerings people are saying that's going to be around
for the long call because of course on Steam Xbox PS5 it's in the top as far as sellers and that
means that usually the overall fan base enjoyed it at launch for it to consistently hold
that top five top 10 spot on the PC on Xbox on PlayStation seemingly people are enjoying the game
and the concurrent player base is running smoothly right now so dragon ball spark and zero is undoubtedly
one of the more popular games in 2024 and overtook October I thought I thought black ops was
going to do it but dragon ball ended up take overtaking black ops as far as the
news cycle when it came to gaming obviously when black ops drops it'll probably overtake the
gaming cycle again but right now everybody in their mom is playing dragon ball and that just seems
like one of the best games in 2024 when it comes to anime fans now getting into october theme games
as far as the horror genre is considered if you don't know about the survival or the
the psychological horror genre and Silent Hill.
Well, guess what?
Bluebird is back to revitalize Silent Hill as there's a whole remake out now on PS5 and PC.
And sorry for Xbox players, you know, y'all don't got any games anyway, but, you know,
this game will be available to Xbox players, you know, at some point, right?
Literally, they said it'll be available afterward.
Like, okay, like, when is it?
Like, how long is afterward?
Like, what?
So anyways, yeah, Xbox for the foreseeable future would not have this Silent Hill to remake.
But I definitely wanted to speak on it for the simple fact that it's the third most played game on PS5 right now.
A lot of people seem to be enjoying it.
And it's getting Ray reviews from a lot of different publications, like very high reviews.
So as far as a remake is considered, it probably is in the same light as when they put out that Resident Evil remit.
Well, not them specifically.
but when the Resident Evil remake came out last year,
it's probably in that same line as far as popularity
and people enjoying the quality of the remake,
especially graphically and gameplay mechanics-wise.
So anyways, then we ended the gaming talk,
but we did not end the gaming talk.
As we got it to Beefland,
but guess who is also beefing
and also in the gaming space?
Nintendo and Power World.
Yes, ladies and gentlemen,
they just seem
it just seems like
we all just can't get along
as a conglomerate
in their backyard
making all this revenue game
off of a game inspired by Pokemon
with a popular title
being said
that Power World is just Pokemon
with guns.
Nintendo
emphatically had enough
as they hit Power World
with a lawsuit.
Yes ladies and gentlemen
they said that this lawsuit
is for alleged patent infringements targeting the monster catching mechanics believed to resemble
Pokemon's gameplay.
So with that being said, of course, you know, it delays some things as far as Japan with Power World.
But despite that, Power World has also launched on PS5, even post that lawsuit, and they're having
the PubG developers work on their mobile app as far as Power World.
So crafting, crafting, the company behind PubG acquired the license to develop Powerworld's mobile version.
So that should be coming out at some point in the future.
So anyways, then we got into conglomerate on conglomerate beef once again as TNT versus the NBA is something you thought you would have never seen.
because originally this relationship started in 1989.
So if you have a relationship that starts in 1989 and it's 2024 and it's ending in such a tumultuous way where you're sending a lawsuit in the way of a class action lawsuit, not class action, my fault.
I'm not a lawyer.
A lawsuit basically saying that you are suing over the NBA rejecting you?
Like what type of scoring X type of romantic sitcom am I sitting through right now?
This is insane.
A whole company is suing another company for the fact that they left for a better company.
Like, get over it.
Get over it, my brother.
Humans go through this every day.
You know what I'm saying?
Your significant other find somebody better.
And now they want to go with that person.
And now you just left in the dust.
Like, dang.
Like, you know what?
Been good to this company.
for since 19
what was it
been good to this company
since 1989
and now
they want to leave me
for what
for Amazon
I'm suing
so that's basically
what happened
TNT is a squaring
X suing NBA
after rejecting
its offer to match
you know
Amazon's television deal
offer
so yeah
I think that would end up
being just
it would just
going it'll just go to the wayside as amazon emphatically is one of the better companies to
partner with especially if you want to reach the masses compared to t and t like i said the evaluation
for t and t was over one trillion with a t t t t not so much it's just 30 billion well i say just
it's a company remind you so it's a profitable company but as far as this evaluation it's 30 billion
So anyways, then we got into
Mortar.
No, it's not Motor Combat.
I'm skipping around.
Actually, I'm not skipping around.
Okay, yeah.
Then we got to Jay-Z and Dame Dash.
Now, in light of what Drake posted,
as far as the Alia post,
as far as the Solange post
with her having the same outfit in the pick
as she did when she gave Jay-Z
hands fee and elbows
for allegedly cheating on Beyonce.
It's very interesting.
I don't know if Drake wants to bark up that tree.
That's another thing I didn't expound upon for the simple fact that I know the background they bring as far as what they bring up with Drake and his ties and things of that nature being a part of a certain community that you can get canceled for calling out.
But still, don't think that just because you are still the most streamed rapper, even with Kendrick completely obliterating you verbally.
Don't think just because you're still standing that you can mess with the ultimate top dog.
I think Jay-Z is even more of a capable rapper than Kendrick Lamar.
I think he's the best rapper ever.
So I have Jay-Z at number one.
But with that, you have to recognize that if I think Drake is inferior to Kendrick,
which I've been said even before the battle,
I've always said Kendrick is the best modern-day rapper.
you know, people forget that.
Also, I say that Jay-Z is who I think is the best rapper ever of all time.
So with that being considered, what happened with Kendrick and Drake,
you ain't seen nothing yet if you decide to go down that route, my brother,
of calling out Jay-Z for certain things with underage elements and cheating on Beyonce.
If you want to go down that rabbit hole, just know.
It ain't no fun when the rabbit got the gun.
So anyways, with that being said, then we got to Cardi B and Offset because these two, I'm not going to lie to you.
When you get into a relationship and you've lasted as long as Cardi B.
and Offset had, which technically they got together, what, 2016, 2017, I think.
So I do some quick math.
But seven years after, three kids into it, a whole marriage, and now you're filing for divorce.
and I just will tell the audience that ultimately these entertainers are not to be something you idolize morally.
Your moral foundation should not be constructed by these entertainers.
They are here to entertain you and say stuff to get engagement.
Do not listen to these.
entertainers when it comes to moral advice right morally speaking a lot of the
things that we focus on doesn't even matter in the grand scheme of things you
know what matters Hurricane Milton you know we talked about this entire
episode video games and hip-hop things that are entertainment takes us away from
the real-life happenings right because of that need to
escape escapism is a real thing but is very positive if you use it correctly the incorrect way to use it is idolizing these entertainers in a way of letting them construct your foundation in your core when it comes to how you treat people so hopefully it makes sense anyways i say all that to say off saying cardi b will get back together i think this is all just them making a huge kerfuffle just to be a toxic relationship it
But at the end of the day, the three kids in seven years later, I don't think they're splitting up in at all.
So with that being said, you know, before I wrap up episode 142, which is of course titled once again, is there a new big three in hip hop.
For the people who stayed to the end, of course, you know, I had to tell you a little tidbit, you know, about the Patreon, of course, because if you stay to the end, if you listen at the beginning, then you definitely know that this is for you.
So I want you to go to analytic dreams video on Spotify to see what I'm about to put up because I have my link tree up right now.
So if you're not watching, just follow along.

the reason why I'm showing y'all this right now

only the real listeners I want to have this sort of access
because I want it to be a real community
as far as what we build going forward.

gameplay walkthroughs are coming back I will be playing Astrobat at some point this month
and so I'm going to record that with my new setup monthly giveaways obviously music and
gaming news in general.
But then Q&A opportunities and Discord access, I think, would be the most pivotal part as far
as this Patreon community that we create for the simple fact that now we have something that's
for us.
I mean, there's going to be people who join and depending on their involvement, they will have
a lot of say in the brand of notorious mass effect.
Let's just put it like that.
So a lot of people will be able to effectively have.
a say in how this company is brought about.
