Starting point is 00:00:04 The Consumers Electronics Show, also known as CES, especially for the year of 2025, has just concluded. Now, as far as me covering and dissecting the gaming and music industry, why would I be talking about this electronic show, right? Well, I'm glad you asked because if you didn't know, the innovative features that comes from a technology, from a technology standpoint is very pioneer-esque, if that's even a phrase, as far as pushing the culture forward. Because a lot of PCs, a lot of gaming hardware, and a lot of gaming hardware software is basically unveiled as far as what the upgrades could potentially be in the future from these type of shows.
Starting point is 00:01:01 because they basically show a lot of prototypes that may never see the light of day, but it's still nice to see what could possibly be reality when it comes to the evolution and technology. Because when it comes to gaming, especially different companies like Xbox, like a Nintendo, especially Oculus, you already know how the VR community is struggling right now. I mean, I believe that, what was it called the meta quest? Let me see. I think it was the meta quest. Or was it the Apple Vision.
Starting point is 00:01:41 Oh, it was the meta. Okay. So the Apple Vision Pro is one of the biggest flops in Apple history. Now, when I tell you that Apple does not like the fact that a lot of people are calling this product a flop, would just look no further than them literally discontinuing the Vision Pro simply. do to nobody supporting it from a developing standpoint. Nobody's putting apps on it. People have stopped the whole wave of just wearing it on the side of your head for no reason.
Starting point is 00:02:15 So when it comes to the consumer electronics show, as far as CES, a lot of people are introduced to these type of advancements and technology. But like we've seen with the Vision Pro, it does not mean that it will always work out when it comes to reality. So why am I saying all that? Basically to let you know some of the new prototypes that was revealed throughout CES 2025, that was held January 7th through the 10th. And of course, it was located in Las Vegas, Nevada. Now, they say whatever happens in Vegas stays in Vegas. But guess what?
Starting point is 00:02:58 I'm here to tell you that's not true because we're here to get all into it as this is the 100. hundred and first anniversary of this actual event. So as far as CES, this is the 101st anniversary. And when it comes to that, it's definitely reflected in the attendance as it had over 141,000 people attending. As far as globally, 40% came from internationally. Is that is how you said? I think so.
Starting point is 00:03:35 Basically, a lot of people was attending this event, right? And then for the people coming to promote their product, there was over 4,500 exhibitors, including 1,400 startups. And when it comes to media members, not even including just the people who's coming, just for the sake of the game of learning about new technology. We're talking about the small subsection of people coming simply to cover it on their respective platforms.
Starting point is 00:04:10 The media had over 6,000 attendees at this event. So this is a pretty big deal. When I'm talking about CES 2025, it's not just some type of niche consumer event that only nerds get up for as far as learning about the evolutions and technology. because me, myself, as a gaming and music connoisseur, this still tells you how the future is going to basically roll out when it comes to what's the capabilities of the future technology. Because if you don't know, when it comes to long-term strategies of companies and how they plan to adopt these new technologies, it's shown a lot at these events as far as CES. And it gives a lot of people insight because guess what? The industry leaders are literally showcasing and giving a whole press conference on how their development and technology will future gaming environments. So that's why I really like to get into these type of award shows.
Starting point is 00:05:19 That's why I like to get into these type of shows and is really educational as far as a technology standpoint. and for people wanting to know more about the technology or just the tech industry in general. Because if you don't know, a lot of money that's made in society, tech companies own majority of it. So with that fact out of the way, for the most part, it's very educational, right? CES reflects a lot of the gaming fandom and culture as far as loving the way that gaming, and technology collabs, often it broadens the overall just knowledge of consumers from each standpoint because people who are more into gaming, that's not as into technology, and vice versa, they learn more about each side because, you know, contrary to popular belief, a lot of people
Starting point is 00:06:18 who are gamers are not all tech savvy. Sometimes they just know how to press that power button and press the power button on the controller. That's basically it. So when it comes to technology and being technologically savvy, that those two don't always correlate as far as being a gamer and being technologically savvy. So that's why I love this event, because it basically broadens the whole demographic of gamers,
Starting point is 00:06:48 tech people, and things of that nature. So some of the main things that were showcased at this CES, was the focus on AI, of course. I mean, all the strikes in the world, you already knew that the big conglomerates did not care, and they are continuing to showcase how AI could take away jobs from you. Sad day in history, but people are just playing in our face with this type of AI development.
Starting point is 00:07:15 As when it comes to the, I think it's the robotic side of AI, there was a lot of prototypes shown as far as robots. And that was very spooky. It reminded me of the Will Smith movie where, you know, at any point, I'm pretty sure if they turn, it's going to be hard to stop them. Let's just put it like that. And especially with the evolution of artificial intelligence as far as being able to solve anything. I mean, imagine, imagine being a teacher in today's age. Every test I would give would be on paper because let me tell you, AI has made it super.
Starting point is 00:07:55 easy to be an expert at everything by asking away, right? But you know, it's kind of interesting because most people don't use a search bar anyway, and they just prefer to be ignorant. So maybe it's twofold. Maybe it's not as big of a deal. But as far as the AI software developments, that was one of the key standpoints of the overall conference. Of course, when it came to mobility, Delta Airlines basically talked about how they're using AI for travel assistance as what is it say it says woven city I don't know what that is
Starting point is 00:08:37 but Honda announced woven city in AI driven mobility community in Japan now I'm not going to lie to you one of my main checkpoints as far as off of my um basically at off of my list of places to go Japan is towards the top. So as far as my bucket list, I do want to go to Japan at some point, simply for the fact that Nintendo World is there. Literally that's it. Like, I just want to go to Nintendo World and put all the respect on Mario's name that he deserves, right?
Starting point is 00:09:12 Because of course, if you don't know, one of my segments, I literally go over how Mario ended up saving the gaming community because in today's age, uh, gaming was not as respected as it was back in the day. day. It was looked at as a lazy man's hobby, low intelligence type of activity because a lot of people just didn't know about gaming and how thought provoking or just how interesting it could be as far as from a creative standpoint, as far as just a brain standpoint, as far as a problem solving. That's basically what I'm trying to say. And Nintendo really pushed the envelope forward as far as having games that mentally
Starting point is 00:09:59 stimulated you to the point where now when you're playing video games, you're also thinking a lot to where now you're, I think it was like a study done about like React, react time and things of that nature as far as playing a video game and then going into real life and being mentally stimulated enough
Starting point is 00:10:21 to make better decisions, something like that. Anyways, video games definitely help out a lot when it comes to finding something to pass the time while also stimulating your brain and it's not just like a brain dead activity but anyways super mario party if you look up that in analytic dreams i covered that game in its entirety but at the beginning i talked about how mario literally save the gaming industry because if you don't know mario's one of the few gaming characters that literally held the whole genre on his back back in I don't know when it was it was a while ago but whenever
Starting point is 00:11:01 nintendo Mario 3DS came out and I think it was Mario 64 something like that basically Mario saved gaming right because gaming was going downhill and that is why Japan is on my bucket list as far as towards the top of places I want to go so that's why I went on that little side tantry. robotics that's basically one of the things i talked about earlier obviously a i has been implemented into this and basically with that um uny tree g1 i think that's how you say it they have interactive robotics ropet has a pet companion robot focused on touch and care so unitree g1 has interactive robotics and then ropet has a pet companion robot focus on touching care so just in case you was looking at up and you wanted to like
Starting point is 00:11:55 purchase one or something like that put like your order you're pre-order in because i don't know if all of these are out or if they're just being shown because some of them are just prototypes some of them are like set to release soon you never really know that's why this whole show is very engaging and just exciting in general because you're really seeing the future of technology um also when it comes to the overall sessions at this conference, there was about 300 plus sessions focusing on the main topics throughout this entire event, which was digital health, AI, sustainability, gaming, vehicle tech, and cyber security. That was the main points of this entire CES conference. And then some of the noteworthy, um, bigger projects or products that was showcased.
Starting point is 00:12:49 was one of the portable TV with suction-based mounting. Very interesting. But yeah, that was by Displace TV Pro. And they had a portable TV with suction-based mounting. Also, Echo Flask had a hydrogen infusion smart water bottle. I don't even know how that would be like helpful, but you know I'm probably just ignorant to that so so maybe one of y'all could tell me who uses the hydrogen infused water bottle like what's that supposed to do anyways um also this home
Starting point is 00:13:32 brewing tech company they have simplified craft beer brewing so as you can tell this conference showcases a lot of different evolutions and different spaces is not all tech but it's majority tech but also as you can see you have the hydrogen infused smart water bottle and then you have the home brewing tech product which is a simplified craft beer brewing also i have list up right well i have list right now right now i have the video plane of the c s 2025 but basically i have different websites to show some of the products that would showcase a c s really wasn't too much to go over with this conference just wanted to let you know that it happened is a very big deal as far as if you want to know more about the evolutions and technology and how it will impact the future so this website had the samsung frame pro
Starting point is 00:14:33 tv as you can see right here and then you had uh the lg evo tv these are just a bunch of TVs as you can tell right here let me uh zoom in just in case i don't want you i have to pull out your glasses you know what i'm saying all right so the l g eve uh oled the lg evo a i oled g5 tv now what in the world type of name is that i ain't gonna lie to y'all these names have gotten out of control but anyways um the holiday the haliday a holiday however you want to pronounce it smart glasses i've seen a lot of smart glasses i do believe that's going to be in the future because of the way that a lot of people are starting to to basically jump out the gate trying to be the first one to market. But what we've come to realize is that some of these products need a little bit more time to cook.
Starting point is 00:15:27 I'm looking directly at you, Apple Vision Pro. Even though it's a great idea and I do believe it will have some viability in the future. Right now, the technology is just not there. So that's how I feel right now, especially with the smart glasses. But I do believe the smart glasses is probably the first thing, that could bring us into the future because i think that's the first type of tech that i would get and i will spend a lot of money for just to have it because it's on your face 24-7 you can talk to a i hopefully it's not like syria i'm not going to allow the evolution of ai makes syri sound like
Starting point is 00:16:03 barbaric you know what i mean like sometimes you ask syri some simple right and then syri's like oh i can't help with that i'm like see this is why chatbot is winning so anyways let's keep going your toopia titanium zero this is a bike so I don't care about that to sweep it I've heard so much about this now apparently this means that you could put your phone and swap out batteries you can put your phone into this product and swap out the battery as you can see right here it has a more detail explanation so as a special phone case holds a built-in battery that doubles a phone's typical life when power is running down simply put the phone into the slot and the device and the device automatically swaps the battery for a full one. The station holds up to five batteries. So multiples are always charged. Is it practical? Maybe. If you have a family or small office where everyone uses the same phones, is it cool? Definitely. I'm not going to lie, I can see this being a great office tool as far as having batteries in the office and being able to swap it out if you use your phone a lot. but if somebody swaps out their battery and the thing blows up I ain't gonna lie to you
Starting point is 00:17:24 somebody getting sued so this is a very sketchy type of product right here because guess what not all batteries are good batteries as we've seen as far as the lifespan of batteries they all dwindle over time some batteries are better than others but as far as the overall premise of this product I do believe this could prove useful maybe to like somebody individually. But if you was wanting to use this in like an office setting, which I think this is what is basically targeting, I think it could get very spooky, very fast as far as messing up somebody's phone.
Starting point is 00:17:59 But anyways, the Karen, electric salt spoon, I was seeing this a lot. Apparently this was a fan favorite. You have goodness, how many outlets do you need? The U-Green, Nexo, 500 w uh 500 that's probably watts charger so this is the world's first 500 watt charger wow six USBc ports now let me tell you all something i'm not going to lie to you that's too much now i know this is supposed to be pushing the culture forward as far as a technology uh you know technologically sound standpoint but i'm not going to
Starting point is 00:18:46 like I'm not going to use one outlet and put six different ports in it. Like at that point, I might as well just give me an extended outlet with the, I forget what it's called. I was trying to look at my outlet to see what it's called. But basically it has the power surge feature where like it stops that. Like I need that to basically give me peace of mind because this is not. not it. That's a lot of ports and one device. So anyways, these are evolutions to pushing the genre for us. I'm not mad. I'm not mad at it. So, and then this is where the Olesh gaming
Starting point is 00:19:28 monitor is from the 27 inch. Then you have the Navidia, RTX 5,000 series graphic cards. So as you can tell, this is one of the things I was talking about as far as the combination between gaming and CES 2025. As with this graphics card, this is basically like a new console for PC players for PC for all console players this is the equivalent of having a new console right this graphics card is going to end up being very pivotal when it comes to people wanting the top tier graphics and and most powerful PC setup this is basically helping out with that as it offers an upgrade that wasn't available before so for all the
Starting point is 00:20:16 the console players this is the equivalent of PC players getting a new console so anyways this is this is basically some of the products that I wanted to showcase but for the most part I would definitely check it out for yourself so many different products at the c s c s 2025 and when you look at it I mean just the overall like attempts when it comes to pushing the technology the technology industry forward and then as far as trying to oh wait this is what it looks like in person I ain't a lot that look way bigger and I thought it was in the in the photo it did not look that big wow that is humongous this is the 500 watts oh my fault analytic dreams video on Spotify to see the video along with the audio I did not see this at first because this is
Starting point is 00:21:13 humongous at first I mean the image did not have it like like this. So yeah, that that is that is huge. Pause. So anyways. Um, yeah, man, that's why it's so exciting. I mean, you see stuff like this like only at these type of shows like where else you're gonna see a six port 500 watts type of and then look at it looks like a, I don't even know it looks like a router. But anyways, um, yeah, the consumer electronic show concluded, uh, January 10th and it was, it was, um, you know, it was. was held from January 7th to January 10th in Las Vegas, Nevada, hosted by the Consumer Technology Association,
Starting point is 00:22:01 marking its 101st anniversary. So that being said, click my link, share in my bio. Let me know one of my social media is. What do you think about CES and the overall advancement of technology? And for my gamers out there, what stood out the most to you during or after this event? We have to get into one of the most played games on Steam currently. And no, I'm not talking about Marvel Rivals just yet, but Analytic Dreams video on Spotify to see the newly released Delta Force, that is technically the top 15 most played game on
Starting point is 00:22:45 Steam. But specifically, it is number 15, which is still a significant accomplishment. I just had to point that out. anyways usually when it comes to me covering these type of games especially when taken into account a lot of different perspectives i like to call this a review and sales round up to give you every perspective in the book because nine times out of 10 the truth is in the middle so a lot of different reviews a lot of different analytics when it comes to sales because if it's a top 15 most play game on steam you could probably already guess that it's making some type of revenue
Starting point is 00:23:26 on the back end because when it comes to this video game especially being produced by a division of tinsent which if you don't know tinsent is really the big dogs when it comes to the gaming industry when you start to realize how much tinsent has a hold of as far as market share and a lot of these different gaming developing companies start to realize that Tenson really could run a lot of IP into his own ecosystem if they wanted to. But they just let them rock out because of course they already have a hand in that pot. So might as well let them cook it up even if it's trash. You know, shout out to Ubisoft.
Starting point is 00:24:06 Anyways, Timmy Studio Group, a division of Tinsent, known for Calla Duty Mobile, are the developers of this video game. And that may throw a lot of people off because if you don't know, the base. basically known for high quality development experiences on mobile FPS genre. Right. So now when you get into PC, it's interesting because it's free to play. Really hard to look at data when it comes to micro transactions because of them basically telling you what the sales are instead of having like a official site. Like it's harder than music to quantify these sales because in music, you have a. have like billboard you have a lumenent as far as gaming obviously just sites that you can directly
Starting point is 00:24:55 look at as far as steam and looking at the player account which you know with me saying it's the top 15 most play game currently with 59 000 people playing this game with a 24 hour peak of 93 000 safe to say that is making some type of revenue that's above all else you know other than the 14 games that's above it currently so on the steam platform so that's that's the steam platform so that's really the only limit scale we have to go off of as far as a sales perspective but safe to say that it's doing pretty well as it was released in december 24 one month later and it's still top 15 on steam so it's doing pretty well i believe and launching after it's a successful open beta that basically functioned as in early access because i don't know who needs to tell y'all gamers but let's
Starting point is 00:25:47 Like, as far as an open beta happening two weeks before the game comes out, that's basically just early access. What are they changing from beta to alpha in that time period? Nothing. So that's basically an early access. The beta is just to temper expectations because if you don't know, it's harder to impress somebody if they're coming in with the highest expectations in the world. But if you lower the expectations, it's easier to impress that person.
Starting point is 00:26:18 So anyways, Delta Force, for people who don't know what it is, it's basically a tactical FPS blending large-scale multi-player battles, like it's similar to battlefield with a lot of extraction-based gameplay. Another example I would use is probably escape from Tarkov. Very prominent for the three features it has, the three game modes it has as. warfare i would say is more battlefield-esque as 32 v 32 battles featuring objective-based gameplay vehicles and tactical gear so it's definitely like a battlefield in that aspect and then of course you have operations mode which is a squad-based extraction gameplay involving missions loot and intelligence. And then of course you have Black Hawk Down
Starting point is 00:27:18 campaign, which is a single player slash co-op campaign inspired by the 2001 movie releasing post-launch. So releasing post-launch. This is hold up. Black Hawk
Starting point is 00:27:34 down movie? It says 2001. I don't know what the post launch is. I don't know what that means. releasing post launch oh okay i don't think the campaign is out yet okay that's interesting i wonder when does delta force campaign come out sounds like if the movie came out 2001 no way it could come out post launch right just trying to use deductive reasoning so anyways um let's see so it's saying January but you know obviously that's not specific
Starting point is 00:28:20 enough for me. So basically the Black Hawk down campaign is set to come out January 2025 and that's all we know about it. So it could get pushed back but we have no idea. It's funny how a lot of these ex-call-of-duty developers go on to make another FPS game that's you know always called like a call-of-duty killer and it ends up never being a call-a-duty killer. Like why is that such a correlation from ex-Call-of-Duty developers going straight to another FPS game and then championing it as the Call of Duty killer
Starting point is 00:29:02 and just never to end up to, like, never end up getting close. Not hating, just an astute observation, especially with Battlefield X-Difying. I mean, the list goes on and on. Yeah, okay, so Team Jade confirmed that in January the game's single-player component, a story based on real-world events
Starting point is 00:29:26 of Black Hawk Down, which is the movie back in 2001, will be released on all platforms. That will arrive shortly after the game, which is designed to be cross-play across multiple platforms. All right, man. That's not a real release date. I love when developers do that. Yeah, it's going to come out this month.
Starting point is 00:29:48 What day? Oh, we don't know. It's just going to come out. All right. So when they push it back, they can say, hey, we never gave you our release date. You know, they always do that all the time. speaking of platforms this game is specifically on PC of course like I said but when it comes to
Starting point is 00:30:05 the PC platform I believe it should be yeah it's coming to console and mobile of well of this month so I ain't a lot the time is ticking it's we halfway through the month well where is the mobile and console versions of this game am I tripping or they just line blatantly to the fans faces let me see Delta Whereas console Release Because I mean
Starting point is 00:30:35 We halfway through the month I mean It's not too much left in it You know what I'm saying Okay so it's still not out And Yeah I just
Starting point is 00:30:44 This This release window is definitely closing Hopefully Timmy Studios It's not just blatantly line to their faces Or to the fans faces Because
Starting point is 00:30:55 that's what it seems like Right now because the steam version of this game is doing tremendous as I say you know 56,000 players currently playing the game and then you have a 24 hour peak of 93,000 so I'm like where is the future promises when is it coming to fruition because right now feels like the player base is holding its end of the bargain and y'all have yet to hold up any of y'all promises as far as the campaign as far as the console as far as the mobile versions so that's interesting anyways um there was something else was wanting into oh issues with anti-cheat i don't know
Starting point is 00:31:46 why every first person shooter runs into this problem but as far as people cheating on this game it happens in every single fps game like whenever a fps game gets announced cheaters just come out of the shell and end up cheating in ways that is unfathomable. Prime example, ex-difiant that was developed by Ubisoft, of course. There were people literally flying around the map, and let me tell you, you're probably trying to think to yourself, what Assassin Creek game did they have this ability where they could fly through the map? Well, let me just kill the suspense for you. None of them.
Starting point is 00:32:27 None of the games that were in the Assassin Creeds franchise could you just fly around the map willy-nilly, right? The cheaters took it upon themselves to turn themselves invisible, turned themselves into Superman himself, flying around the map, shooting people from top of buildings when that shouldn't even been possible, and they could care less, right? Because obviously, you know, X-Define is getting shut down by Ubisoft, which Ubisoft is being threatened about, Tencent, like I said, Tencent is one of the big dogs in the gaming industry. They're being threatened by Tencent to privatize their company so that their stocks can rise, right? So with their ex-defiant call a duty killer, quote unquote, people were just cheating blatantly. And then the trees were running rampant to the point where people just did not care if they got caught.
Starting point is 00:33:20 Seemingly the same situation with this game as the anti-cheat. There's been a lot of issues with that. And then, of course, a lot of people have pointed out that the map designs have a lot of flaws, which, you know, even Call of Duty can't really seem to get the maps considered. I don't know what it is about having a bad map, but I really want to sit down and just, like, have it explain to me what is so hard about making a good map. Because it seems like no FPS game has really pinpointed a classic map other than, I'll probably say Marvel rivals.
Starting point is 00:33:53 And maybe I'm just gassing it because I think it's one of the best games. out right now but Marvel rivals is probably one of the few games where the maps aren't really complaining about expect well except for the Fantastic Four map that just released I don't know what it is about these new maps but it's like like why not just copy different pathways and alaways of classic maps and just put a rescan on it like is that not is it more complicated than that it has to be because I feel like you know people get paid to put to create this type of stuff right like why the map's consistently bad anyways um what else and that's basically people complain about bugs but there's bugs in every game um so yeah it's free to play so basically the way they make money is
Starting point is 00:34:41 you paying for cosmetics which is solely cosmetic right it's nothing enhancing the gameplay so that's great as far as uh no pay to win uh tactics which we love so i'm glad to see more companies uh basically executing that type of marketing strategy no pay to win type of mechanics right so that's great um with that being sam as far as the the review roundup right uh ig and gave this a seven out of 10 saying that delta force isn't the best extraction shooter nor does it do big pvp battles better than games you already own dang however doing both of those modes reasonably well and one free-to-play package is pretty noteworthy and then of course we have PC gamer 70 out of 100 digital trumps gave Delta Force an 80 out of 100 the gamer gave it a 68 out of 100 they would
Starting point is 00:35:41 not fill in Delta Force um Steam users basically gave this a 74% positive rating based on 45,000 reviews in the last 30 days and maybe a little different currently if you're checking it but that's as of me right now checking the ratings then we have Metacritic with the range of 70 to 80 saying that it has very good optimization quite a lot of content good graphics basically a free-to-play game having this much content it's probably why it's one of the most play games on Steam I mean I'm not going to want to you fortnight I think needs more credit when it comes to the way it popularized giving so much content for free and basically just letting the fans do what they want with the gameplay loop right but i mean i don't know because then again you could probably say that was roblox because i play roblox not too long ago for the first time i wish i would have like streamed it or recorded it when i tell you i had like an epiphany i was enlightened that game is fantastic and i didn't pay a single dollar
Starting point is 00:36:57 so anyways um so i was literally i went from like zombies to box all right let me stay on top but i get on saying right the free to play model when done right could lead to a lot of revenue on the back end if you treat your fans with respect which that last part is often missed by a lot of developers so anyways um that's basically all i had to say about this um fpsk game when it comes to call a duty killer obviously is not that but when it comes to a success being released in 20 being released in December 2024 and still having so much praise when it comes to the large scale multiplayer battles when it comes to 32 re 32 when it comes to the free to play model when it comes to the operations mode and then a black hawk down campaign coming soon don't know
Starting point is 00:37:51 when it's coming but they said it's coming soon um over 50 weapons with thousands of of modification options. I mean, once again, a free-to-play game. I would say definitely try it out because, once again, it's free to play. And it seems like the developers who were known for Call of Duty Mobile, so they know a thing or two about giving the fans something that's engaging as far as the FPS standpoint. And also a division of Tonson, huge conglomerant,
Starting point is 00:38:22 as far as big dogs in the gaming industry, seemingly this game is, going to be around for a while so with that means said click my link sure in my bio let me know one of my social media is what do you think about Delta force in general and if you played the game what is your favorite mode warfare operations or are you waiting for the Black Hawk down campaign now I swear I'm not trying to be petty but I had to go to Xbox and PlayStation marketplaces respectively right just to see if Star Wars outlaws would pop up. I could probably guess what happened after that because, obviously, it didn't pop up.
Starting point is 00:39:13 Because when it comes to Ubisoft, a lot of things happened last year that were just unthinkable, right? The overall lack of success when you had the first ever open world Star Wars game as far as Star Wars outlaws, you have the first ever Assassin Creed video game set in Japan which the fans have been clamoring for it right and then you have the so-called
Starting point is 00:39:46 call-a-duty killer as far as X-defined which if you don't know which is recently shut down it's been a sad day in history for Ubisoft and then let's just tack that on well just add on to that by saying that Ubisoft
Starting point is 00:40:01 shares have failed drastically since delaying the new Assassin Creek game. And what do they do to respond to that type of L after L after L. Like I just don't understand what they would do to counteract that, right? Surely not the same thing.
Starting point is 00:40:24 Well, ladies and gentlemen, they have done the same exact thing that have put them into this type of predicament as Ubisoft has delayed Assassin Creed Shadows yet again. So initially it was announced in May 24 for November 20204 release, right? This is how far back it goes. Now, the first delay was to February 14th, 2025. And now it's delayed again to March 20th, 2025. Now, in all actuality, if I was to be a devil's advocate,
Starting point is 00:41:06 I would say that they are definitely polishing this game to be one of the more optimized Assassin Creed games of all times. So objectively speaking, it will be a good game from an optimization standpoint. Now, when it comes to story, when it comes to mechanics, when it comes to gameplay loop, that's a little different. But as far as screen tearing, like your whole screen turning black or stuff going crazy whenever your camera locking onto a boss, Shout out to my black myth
Starting point is 00:41:33 Wu Kong players out there basically screen going insane when you're locking onto a boss and the whole graphics being messed up because of it. Hopefully it doesn't happen in Assassin Creed because they can't really afford another loss. At this point
Starting point is 00:41:48 they may be lost because if you don't know one of the big dogs in the gaming industry is well goes by the name of Tencent. Now there was a specific thing that happened to Ubisoft that's very unfortunate because of the L after L after L that they took last year, right? The Goulmont family, the founders of Ubisoft, if you didn't know, alongside, so this is like in tandem, right?
Starting point is 00:42:16 Alongside Tenson, a significant shareholder are contemplating moving Ubisoft into privatization because of the shareholder. share dropping 54% right they said well and Bloomberg reported that if they privatize the stocks right they will see a notable increase of 26.33% post announcement now I don't know what in the world type of metric though they're going off of but it seems like Bloomberg is pretty reputable actually I know Bloomberg is pretty reputable so if they say that if you go private and you can raise your stocks by over like 26.3 or 33% or even in some cases 31% that would definitely help out a lot because your stocks are at the lowest has been since 2013. I mean, y'all think y'all do y'all think we're getting a assassin creed game set in
Starting point is 00:43:22 japan because they feel like it? They're doing it because they have to. They've ignored y'all request for Assassin Creek game set in Japan for forever. All it took was Securo Shadows died twice and the L after L after L that they've been taking and now they finally
Starting point is 00:43:49 want to give you a Assassin Creek game set in Japan. I wonder what it took for them to listen to their fans. Almost like if you are having your back against the wall And now you finally start to listen to your fans. But now, not only are you listening to your fans, but now you have to listen to,
Starting point is 00:44:09 but now you have to listen to your shareholders, because the Goulmart family and Tinsent seem like they're not playing around. I mean, they've threatened a hostile takeover, which if you don't know what that means, that means that it's over for Ubisoft. And their direction, as far as the company, Tinsent and Goulmott are threatening to take it over.
Starting point is 00:44:30 and basically means that they will take over the direction from then on. But it hasn't happened yet. So Ubisoft, you know, whoever. Actually, let's look at it up right now. Because, you know, sometimes you don't want to speak these, you, you don't want to speak these CEOs names because spooky stuff starts to happen. So, I mean, it's the Goumah family, so that makes sense. It's just, it's probably just like a conglomerant because I do believe that as far as Goulmah and as far as Tinsent is a little different from the. actual people who own the rest of the shares and they probably have also they probably have like
Starting point is 00:45:07 things to give as far as their opinion on where they should take the company so as far as as guillmont as tinsent they're not playing around they're tired of ubysov just fumbling time and time again i mean till this day i still don't know how they messed up the first ever open world star wars game i mean that's just like a significant accomplishment in itself like i think there should be like a war shows for like games who have just completely just let down the fans like spider man two would be up there i ain't gonna lie to you like looking at that and looking at the amount of people they laid off which you're gonna get to that in the second you be insomnia versus their own fans and developers right they let off like 900 people last year and they have
Starting point is 00:45:52 spider-man IP so i'm like something's not adding up i mean if you have spider-man IP and you can't make a creative project, then you're just not a creative in the first place. You can't have the most popular superhero of all time and then end up putting out a flop like they did with Spider-Man 2. I just, for the life of me, I don't know if it's just because I'm like a Spider-Man stand, but I can never have two to three hours of Spider-Man content and then at the end of it, or as far as like game planning and then at the end of it, say to myself, you know what, let's cut all that and slice it down to.
Starting point is 00:46:29 a significant portion so that we could charge them for the DLC after the fact. That's literally what Insomniac tried to do with Spider-Man 2, which it was very obvious if you play the entire campaign. They was holding a lot of stuff ransom behind the paywall for the sake of the DLC. Shout out to Carnage. But anyways, which is not even happening anymore because, you know, the fumble the ball. But anyways, we're focusing on Ubisoft right now. So they foamed the ball with Star Wars outlaws and because of that, them delaying Assassin
Starting point is 00:47:06 Crew shadows is basically seemingly like a response today because now they have to make sure that this is a hit because they already thought that the Star Wars Outlaws game was going to be a hint. Like how would a Star Wars game not be a hit, right? Well, Ubisoft found out that that's actually possible. So now the Shadows game has to be a hit. They've delayed it to March 20th, 2025. Obviously, they say, oh, we got to polish it more and stuff like that. I just believe that they want this to be very optimized day one.
Starting point is 00:47:42 This is probably the most optimized. This will probably go down as the most optimized Assassin Creek game of all time. And it's simply because the whole entire company is on the line. Goalmont family, Tencent, a threatening hostile takeover. threatening to privatize the stocks because they want to see a sore rise in stocks because Bloomberg reported that the potential privatization of Ubisoft's stock will make it rise by over 31%. So and that's like in comparison to their stock right now,
Starting point is 00:48:21 which is its lowest since like 2013, goodness. insane but with that being said it's really nothing too much to get into i mean Ubisoft is really hanging on they're basically on thin ice you know that phrase of thin ice that's basically what they're on. They're on thin ice with the fans they're on thin ice with their shareholders like at this point who are they not on thin ice with right
Starting point is 00:48:46 so i do believe that they're going to put out all the stops for this assassin creed game because they have to there's not no ifs, and busts about it. They have to put out a solid product. And the bare minimum, the very least they could do is give us a very optimized game. That's the very least. So we don't know how the story is going to be.
Starting point is 00:49:07 The gameplay loop at the bare minimum, it seems like they're trying to make this one of the most optimized games of all time. And then as far as Ubisoft's overall strategy for reshaping its operations, that just basically jargon for them having to let off more people so um yeah as of right now it is well assassin creed shadows is set to come out march 20 20 25th but of course because of it being so pivotal and just the overall lifespan of the ubysaw brand we'll see if that date actually sticks when it comes close to that time so that being said click my link sure in my bio let me know one of my social media is what do you think about assassin creed shadows being delayed once again and what do you think about the overall situation between ubysoft and their shareholders
Starting point is 00:50:01 well majority shareholders when it comes to guemot family and tinsent and what is your biggest takeaway from this whole entire dumpster fire situation now of course keeping my promise of covering more of the mobile gaming industry because if you don't know they definitely bring a lot of dollars as far as revenue when it comes in the entire gaming industry so it only makes sense that i start to dive more into that sector of the gaming industry as i do love to get into analytics as when it comes to mobile legends bang bang being the most played game on mobile it is one of the more pivotal games that a lot of people enjoy playing on a mobile platform so that is what we're talking about for today's segment and analytic dreams video on Spotify to see the video along with the audio
Starting point is 00:51:02 because right now you can see a video basically breaking down the basics of uh mobile legends bang bang and is basically like a beginner's guy but for this specific segment i like to go over just the the rise to fame the overall sales and then of course the round up when it comes to reviews because this game has been out for forever now I do believe it came out back in, I want to say, I want to say 2020, but maybe that's not right. Hold up. Because I do believe that it came out, I think it came out. Oh, no, it was totally off.
Starting point is 00:51:50 Okay. So Mobile Legends, Bang Bang came out July 14th, 2016. Now, when it comes to the rise to fame, it basically had a surge in popularity in 2020 with 1 billion with a B downloads 78 million active players as of now but when it comes to the revenue generated I think the peak what well actually estimated as far as the numbers was 22 was the peak as far as revenue generated when they had about 851 million dollars generated from this game alone There's a reason why I said I was going to start getting more into the mobile arena as far as diving into that industry because if I'm to cover the entire gaming industry, there's no reason to leave out the mobile gaming community. So for people who are not as familiar with Mobile Legends Bang Bang, just know it's a 5B5 MOBA where teams aim to destroy the opposing nexus while protecting their own.
Starting point is 00:53:01 Now, of course, I believe MoBA's like multi-something battle arena, Motai Player Online Battle Arena, but let me make sure because I don't like when they use the acronym and the definition like people are supposed to know what they mean. I'm pretty sure I think that's what it's called. Yeah, multi-player online battle arena. So you know what I mean? I mean, just a little bit.
Starting point is 00:53:25 You know what I mean? Just a little bit. So anyways, it's mobile stand, MOBA stands for Multi-Play Online Battle Arena. So if you didn't know, well, now you know. So anyways, Mobile Legends Bang Bang is a 5B5 MOBA where teams aim to destroy the opposing nexus while protecting their own. So the six type of heroes was the tank, fighter, assassin, mage, marksmen, and support.
Starting point is 00:53:52 Very interesting how they have six type of, well, six hero types. As it reminds me of Overwatch and, of course, Marvel rivals, just because it's so, like fresh on my brain as far as it being the most popular game right now but um obviously this game did a way before any of these games i mean back in 2016 actually overwatch came out in 2016 right so actually it came at the same time i think yeah uh overwatch came out may 24th of 2016 i guess that was just the that was just the the year of hero shooters i guess but anyways uh there's a lot of matches that you can have in mobile legends bang bang which you know with it being a mobile game you would think that them basically uh putting a lot of importance on your time spent is is very pivotal
Starting point is 00:54:49 especially if you're playing on your mobile device which is very apparent in this video game as the quick matchmaking and gameplay is literally 10 to 30 minutes per match. But you get you get into a quick match very well you know punnant I guess you know very redundant if I keep using the same word so quick matchmaking takes about 10 seconds right
Starting point is 00:55:15 and then the gameplay is 10 to 30 minutes per match so obviously it's very easy to get into these games and then when it comes to the reason why this game is so unique as a whole hero roster right over 120 heroes as of 2024. Now I'm not going to lie to you. Marvel rivals may pass that in just this year alone because they are trying to put a bunch of heroes into the game,
Starting point is 00:55:42 not at once, of course, but they say they'll put like a hero into the game like every month and a half. So I think they're putting like two heroes and to Marvel rivals every month and a half. But that's just in comparison to a hero shooter that's very successful having over 120 heroes. with each, well, each with distinct abilities. So that brings me back to the point of when people are talking about Marvel rivals,
Starting point is 00:56:09 which I keep talking about that because the year is 2025 and Marvel rivals is just killing the game right now. When people talk about that game, basically having a fatigue of too many characters, just look at Mobile Legends, Bang Bang. Like, there's hero shooters out there that can put a lot of heroes into the game and still find that balance because people still play it. in a competitive aspect. So when it comes to that and being the most played game on a mobile platform,
Starting point is 00:56:37 when it was released in 2016, as far as in Brazil, it gained a lot of traction in Southeast Asia. And then, of course, the milestones was the one billion downloads back in 2020. And then, you know, it was already on Android and iOS. But the developers, a big portion of how these, you know, classic games are made is literally starts with the developers. And an interesting tip bit is a subsidiary of bite dance. The same people who are a subsidiary, well, no, the same people who own TikTok. So bite dance is basically once again successful and having something that's long, long lasting.
Starting point is 00:57:26 well except for you know we don't know how tick tock's going to end up but y'all get on saying right bite dance is definitely uh they they have the the finger on the post when it comes to uh quality content so anyways um yeah moon moon ton how you say that moon ton moon ton i think that's that's the developers of mobile legends bang bang and basically like i said a subs subsidiary of bite dance and they had a lot of drama at the beginning of their growth cycle for the simple fact that they were previously sued yes ladies and gentlemen somebody else turned into drake themselves as riot games sued moontun for copyright infringement resulting in design changes so i don't know why uh hold but I'm pretty sure Riot Games had a game that I just not aware of.
Starting point is 00:58:29 Was it League of Legends? It had to be League of Legends. Moon Tun. So it had to be a, like, I can't think of any other game. Yeah, okay. So Riot Games had, um, let me see, they sued Moon Tunn primarily due to allegations of copyright infringement. Okay.
Starting point is 00:58:56 and let me see okay so this initial lawsuit between riot games and moon tun was back in 2017 and basically it made mobile legends renamed to mobile legends bang bang why because they said they copied various elements of riots league of legends that's hilarious because if you think about the Nintendo versus I forget who developed Power World Powered developers
Starting point is 00:59:37 Okay pocket pair I was like totally blank on the developer name but when Nintendo sued PocketPair very interesting how those things correlate as far as you know sometimes
Starting point is 00:59:52 it's better to upgrade on a previous idea than it is to reinvent the wheel. And that's just advice in general. Most people prefer nostalgia. Nobody wants to come into something that they feel like is just completely foreign.
Starting point is 01:00:10 They want to have some type of nostalgia-like factor mixed in to a new perspective that they could gravitate towards. I wonder who that could have helped, and maybe just could have helped him in a podcast and career. I wonder who I could be talking about. but anyways so with that being said um
Starting point is 01:00:32 riot games did not take too kindly of um Moontun following that model as they sued him back in 2017 and in 2018 ride games actually won the lawsuit
Starting point is 01:00:45 so man moon ton had to pay out 2.9 million talk about guala right they had to pay them a bag for uh yeah for this lawsuit
Starting point is 01:00:57 and basically it was a non-disclosure and a non-compete agreement not directly related to the copyright infringement. Ah, sure. And in 2022, Ryan, they spun the block twice. They must have been listening to 21 Savage.
Starting point is 01:01:14 Anyways, Riot Games filed another lawsuit against Moontun in the U.S. alleging that Mobile Legends, Bang Bang, copied League of Legends Wild Rift once again. I mean, they just couldn't get enough.
Starting point is 01:01:28 They was like, you know what, I need some more of that. Like, not 2.9. I want everything. Now, obviously, they didn't get everything. But when it comes to that legal battle, fast forward to 2024, riot and Moontun reached a global settlement with riot formally withdrawing its lawsuits. But the specifics of the settlement weren't disclosed.
Starting point is 01:01:54 But it ended the legal disputes over intellectuals. property rights between the two companies that is beyond interesting for somebody like myself who loves diving into the industry you learn something new every day like as far as the the depths that people will go to to get their fetichini that they feel like they're owed let me just tell you it knows no end it knows no like as far as a conclusion or an amicable solution they want their money or else. And that's basically what happened. I may talk about having beef for 2018,
Starting point is 01:02:35 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2022, 2022, 2023, I mean,
Starting point is 01:02:41 goodness, that's almost two presidential terms. If you count 2017, that's technically two presidential terms. Well, in the U.S. I don't know about other countries. But,
Starting point is 01:02:50 yeah, you know, that's insane type of beef. That's insane levels of beef right there. So, So, yeah, man, Riot Games definitely got their money. But as far as the 2022 lawsuit, they came to some type of settlement, but obviously they didn't disclose the specifics of the settlement. So we don't know who won.
Starting point is 01:03:10 I mean, I would assume that just like in 2018, that Rye Games won. But, you know, you never know. But also, with that drama set to the side, Mobile Legends Bang Bang is still the most popular game or still the most popular mobile game in the world. And I don't see League of Legends. do they have a mobile game? I don't think League of Legends has a mobile game. I think it was just on a PC. A mobile game.
Starting point is 01:03:40 I should have asked if Riot had a mobile game. League of Legends has a mobile game called League of Legends Wild Rift. Oh, okay, that's basically what they was spending the block for. Okay, so they sued for League of Legends and they sued for League of Legends wild rift, which is the mobile version of League of Legends. Okay. That makes sense. reminds me off
Starting point is 01:04:04 I need to add this as a drop because it keeps bringing me back to the point of when Andrew Garfield say I'm not coming back for half I'm coming back for everything That's one of my favorite quotes of all time Oh let me see if I can find that Because I ain't gonna lie
Starting point is 01:04:18 That's how Ryan Games were spinning the block Because not only they came back in 2017 But it was like let me come back again In 2022 to let you know that we ain't through with you You know what I'm saying Andrew Garfield Let's see
Starting point is 01:04:31 what's it called the network he bet a lawyer you bet a lawyer up let me see I love this right here I don't think I can put this on the screen because it's a movie and I make it copyright it so I'm just going to play the snippet right or the audio snippet
Starting point is 01:04:49 hopefully it's not too loud first I thought he was joking giving me more contracts to sign because I'm not coming back for three this story about the chicken this is how Ry Games was talking to Moon Tun Talking about me accused of animal cruelty.
Starting point is 01:05:07 Seriously, what the hell's the chicken? And I'll bet what you hated the most is that they identified me as a co-founder of Facebook, which I am. You better lawyer up, asshole, because I'm not coming back for 30%. I'm coming back for everything. Everything. He's coming back for everything. Ride games said, I'm not coming back for just League of Legends. I'm coming back for Wild Rift.
Starting point is 01:05:33 Oh, man, they spun to block twice. You got to let us see it. That is very deep hatred right there. So anyways, yeah, as far as Mobile Legends, Bang Bang, most play game on a mobile platform. As far as the review roundup, obviously people still love the game. I mean, it came out in 2017, and it's still the most play game in 2025. Safe to say that no matter what the review roundups are,
Starting point is 01:05:59 people love the game, right? So anyways, but, you know, getting into the review roundup, IGN gave it a 7.9 out of 10 as far as the IGN community, right? Tap tap, I don't know what that is, but it's a pretty reputable mobile game review site, gave it a 4.2 at a 5. I don't know what a 0.2 came from, but hey, you know, it's each zone. What a play, gave it a 4.6 out of 5. And then App Store, well, Apple, the average user rating is 4.7 out of 5.
Starting point is 01:06:30 And the Google Play Store is 4.3 at a 5. and then just use app the user rating is 4.9 out of five. So, well, all that should tell you is that a lot of people really championing the game's functionality, the graphics, the gameplay, and especially the community. The endgame purchases and balance seems to be a consistent critique as far as, you know,
Starting point is 01:06:57 the mobile game format of them charging you for everything, right? But overall, people seem to love it. and it's high satisfaction across the board, which is why it's been on top since 2017. So with that being said, click my link, sure in my bio. Let me know on one of my social medias. What do you think about Mobile Legends, Bang Bang? And if you've played the game, what is your favorite part? And as far as the Riot Games and Moontone Beef, do you believe that they will spin the block once more?
Starting point is 01:07:33 It is time to get into one of the games that is currently being concerned. considered for Game of the Year because even though it came out December 6th, 2024, the eligibility period, especially for the Game Awards show, is from November 23rd, 2024 up until November 22nd, 2025. So with that eligibility period out the way, now let's get into a real discussion about if Marvel rivals deserves to be game. of the year for 2025 because one of the biggest games that I think could obviously take away that that award is probably Grant the 406. Now there's a lot of other games that could come out of the woodworks because we still have 11 months of 2025 left. So there's a lot of year. Well,
Starting point is 01:08:28 there's a lot of the year left as far as for games to come out and basically capture the audience attention. But right now, when we're looking at Marvel rivals, especially with the strong IP of Marvel and the overall developers seemingly not stopping with the heroes as they announced that a hero would be added to Marvel rivals every month and a half. So with that being considered, they definitely have the roadmap already put together for the player base. So one of the biggest things that I wanted to touch on was the overall sales of Marvel rivals because I've already completed sales and review roundup of this specific game back in December 23rd, 2024 when I basically covered Marvel rivals and it was an entire sales and review roundup.
Starting point is 01:09:27 This specific segment, because of course it's the title of the episode, does Marvel rivals potentially what will they potentially end up being game of the year and do they deserve to be game of the year that's a big it's actually a big compliment to Marvel rivals because the year just started and that's how great this game is if you don't know Marvel rivals is a 6 v6 team based game with modes like convoy domination convergence and obviously the developers don't want you to make this comparison but it's obviously an overwatch with marvel heroes type of game so the biggest thing that separates itself from the overwatch is the overall dynamic hero synergy which to me this may date me a little bit well not a lot because it didn't come out too long ago i don't think actually let's look that up
Starting point is 01:10:24 because ultimate alliance ultimate alliance too i believe let's see really state i don't think it came out that that long ago oh 2009 i feel old all right so yeah ultimate lines too that's what this game reminds me of as far as just the sandbox of characters and then the overall synergy between different heroes as far as the unique abilities that come about the team ups so when it comes to this game not going to lie this is one of the few games i've played as far as just off stream, just enjoying it for myself, because that's how great this game is. Now, I'm a huge Spider-Man fan,
Starting point is 01:11:06 so I have a lot of hours on Spider-Man. Now, I know what you're thinking. There's a very, very negative perception of Spider-Man players, and I'm not going to say I'm helping or hurting their cause. Let's just say I have the stats up for y'all to be the judge of if I'm a good or bad Spider-Man player, because after that, we're going to get into how I, feel about the overall game.
Starting point is 01:11:32 So if you look right here with me, obviously this is a, let me see if I can find this right quick. Okay. So yeah, obviously this is my footage or just my stats of me playing Spider-Man. So I think, well, I would like to think I'm a pretty decent Spider-Man player as far as being able to disrupt a backline and cause. havoc for a lot of people out there. I know people who have trouble even getting kills with Spider-Man.
Starting point is 01:12:04 And as you've seen, my highest, I think, I think y'all can see that, right? Let me pull it up for myself. I have it on y'all's screen. I don't have it on mine. As you can see, on, let me see what it's that. Yeah, and KOs on best. It's 29. So my best is 29, right?
Starting point is 01:12:22 I think I could have put up more, but that specific game, we was like running away with the match. So I was like, let me just play the objective. no need to a farm kills right but that was my best game from a KL perspective but as you can see with the time play the matches play uh the win percentage from the matches play you know it's very ify let's actually do the math on that right now I know that's definitely that may be below 50 so it's not the greatest but let me see 43% win percentage with Spider-Man so I ain't gonna lie to you I don't know if I'm helping or hurting the overall perception
Starting point is 01:13:00 that Spider-Man players are bad for the game because I feel like I'd be doing my thing. Hey, sometimes you can't control your teammates. And as you can see on my stats, I'd be getting kills. Like on average, I'm taking out at least 10 people a match. And I'm not dying that often. I wish they had the deaths on here. I don't see the deaths. Well, that is unfortunate.
Starting point is 01:13:21 I wish they had deaths because that's basically the main thing that I'll be avoiding, especially with Spider-Man. Like, I can heal myself, like, especially map awareness. Like I know the different health packs around the maps, I heal myself and get back into the action. But as you can see on average, I'm taking out at least 10 people a match. I think that's pretty solid.
Starting point is 01:13:38 But hey, I'll let y'all be the judge. And as you can see, as far as my ranking, you know, definitely trying to get out of bronze. Well, I did get out of bronze, technically, it was Silver 3, but I went right back into it because guess what? People just do not know how to play the game. And obviously, as a Spider-Man player, I can't talk too much,
Starting point is 01:13:54 but that's why I just showed you all my stats because I just want you all to know that I am an actual game. gamer. I don't just be covering games for fun. I cover games because I'm passionate about it. So anyways, let me take that off. So that's why I wanted to cover that. But the main thing that I also wanted to talk about, especially with Marvel Rivals, is the overall impact that's had, not only on just myself, you know, playing the game, but many others as Marvel Rivals is a smash hit. I mean, as far as the biggest W is, you know,
Starting point is 01:14:29 far as the past two to three well probably two years for marvel IP Marvel rivals is definitely what Marvel's been looking for as far as something that they could receive monetary value off of it for the foreseeable future because right now in just this first month it generated over 136 million dollars now of course when it comes down to the specific splits of Marvel rivals we have the steam platform which has over 54 million uh revenue generating this is like an estimated this like a ballpark right uh right so then you have PlayStation with 27 million um estimated revenue generated and then of course well let's skip there right now the china net e service have about 36 million and then with the momentum you know overall marvel rivals is expected to
Starting point is 01:15:27 have at least 1.3 billion with a B in annual revenue if the momentum continues. Now, why did I leave out Xbox as far as the revenue generated? Because ladies and gentlemen, one of the pivotal factors of why people say Xbox has no games is because of performances like this. Do you know that Xbox players account for a whopping 2.7 million of the entire 136 million pot of Marvel Rivals revenue generated? I don't know what it is about Xbox players. Maybe they're just broke. Now, I ain't trying to call every Xbox owner a brokey. But let's just say the overall statistics, I am batting a high percentage that most of y'all, majority of y'all, may not have certain funds when it comes
Starting point is 01:16:24 to playing games now i always love to say gaming is an expensive hobby it's not something that's a need it's a want it's something that we do for enjoyment but it's not something that should be prioritized over like food water things of their nature so when it comes to that i'm not even trying to be funny maybe xbox players just can't afford it maybe that's why the discrepancy is so huge as far as 2.7 million compared to the 54 million made on Steam, 27 million made on PlayStation, 36 million made on NetE's China servers, and overall $1.3 billion projected. It seems like Xbox is not going to account for a lot of that, and I just wonder why that's the case.
Starting point is 01:17:11 Now, all jokes aside, I just thought that was pretty poignant to showcase because highlighting the fact that Marvel Rivals is the fourth most play game. on Steam as far as 202,000 players currently playing a game with a 24-hour peak of 465,000, right? And then you have the PlayStation platform where it's still the fourth most play game. Obviously we don't have the specific numbers because console players don't, well, consoles don't like to showcase analytics or specific analytics for some reason. And then Xbox, Marvel Rivals is nowhere to be found. So that's why when I look at the 2.7 million number as far as estimated revenue from the Xbox platform compared to PlayStation, compared to Steam, compared to
Starting point is 01:17:57 NetE servers. It makes a lot of sense. Maybe Xbox players aren't just messing with a phenomenal free-to-play game like that. Like maybe when it comes to playing a game that's free and has all the content in the world and also has Marvel characters. Like what in the world else could you want from a video game? But anyways, obviously Xbox players would rather. to play gtl on for the millionth time instead of playing a new game so with my x-bark slander
Starting point is 01:18:27 out of the way let's get back into why i believe marvels potentially should end up winning game of the year because when you think about it actually let me pull this up right quick so when it comes to the overall uh episode title uh let's see if i had this oh okay i don't have it as an actual image it's just my background But that makes sense. Okay. Let me find this right quick. Okay, here we go.
Starting point is 01:19:04 So as you can see right here, yeah. So Analytic Dreams video on Spotify to see the video along with the audio. But basically, can I? Oh, man. I'm zooming in and out crazy right now. Okay. Can I move this over here? No, I can't.
Starting point is 01:19:20 Actually, let me see if I can move this. There we go. All right. Take me away for a second. All right. So as you can see, the episode title is, could Marvel rivals take home game of the year? So you already knew that there was going to be a strong emphasis on Marvel rivals because I made this the episode title. Now, the reason why I did that is because time and time again, I found myself playing this game to the point where I realized to myself, wait, could this end up actually winning game of the year?
Starting point is 01:19:51 Because Overwatch back in 2016, if you remember, won game of the year. at the Game Awards show. And what do everybody say about this Marvel rivals game? It's that it's basically Overwatch with Marvel characters. So now, when you keep that fact in mind, when you look at the overall trajectory of the game projected to have $1.3 billion in annual revenue, if this momentum continues, then you can only assume that it will end up winning game of the year if GTA6 comes out. If GTA6 comes out, I'm not going to lie to you.
Starting point is 01:20:26 that's just going to blow everything else out of the water. Because we've been waiting, I mean, ages. I mean, we've been waiting what feels like lifetimes for this game to come out. And mostly, most every rock star game ends up winning game of the year at the Game of War show. Not hating. I'm just saying they definitely deserve it because they put a lot of content into the overall package. But when it comes to Marvel rivals, I would like to see it win game of the year. for the simple fact that it's free to play
Starting point is 01:20:56 it has about 33 characters it may have even more because of what uh read and sue but um they're categorized into roles like vanguard duelist strategist and giving a little tidbit
Starting point is 01:21:12 a little uh advice I know y'all saw my stats of me majority you know majority of the time playing spider man but I would say to try to diversify your character so that you're able to uh play a plethora of different characters. I wonder if I still have this up right quick.
Starting point is 01:21:31 Okay, so I'm looking at my stats right now because even though I do have like, yeah, majority of time I'm playing Spider-Man, I did play Cloak and Dagger. I had like 2.1 hours on that, 41 minutes on Venom, 33 minutes on Iron Man, 11 minutes each on Captain America and Punisher.
Starting point is 01:21:49 So when it comes to like being able to play different characters, it definitely helps out a lot. Like, if I run into Spider-Man, that's better than me as far as on the game, which y'all saw my stats i mean i would say i'm a pretty uh comparable spider-man like i definitely put up kos in consistent uh disruption into the back line right you know so i do my thing but sometimes if you're not doing as well but you know i'm not going to lie as a spider-man player if you're not doing well man you get the most toxic players ever like let you have one bad game as spider-man
Starting point is 01:22:23 and they call you everything but a child of God right but anyways with that when I am going crazy at Spider-Man I still get my credit they'd be like oh you're going crazy stuff like that so I'd be like you know what I guess it's both ways
Starting point is 01:22:37 they'd be like oh you're actually a good Spider-Man but when it's on the other hand they'd be like good job Spidey in the completely sarcastic way or they'd be like what else they say another bad Spide or something like that so yeah you got to take the good
Starting point is 01:22:51 with the bad but with that being said I would like to say that diversifying the characters you play as far as tank, um, as far as vanguard duelists and strategists, I would have at least two characters in each role that you could play as. Now obviously I'm not like super high up, uh, ranked or whatever,
Starting point is 01:23:10 but I'm just giving the same type of sentiments that the, uh, people in like, the one, the one above all lobbies and then those type of players, the type of advice that they give. Because best believe, I'll be watching all the,
Starting point is 01:23:23 tips and tricks video but when you get into that game it's a whole different ball game so i could say all the best advice in the world but until you apply it or until you get into that game and realize that you should probably diversify the characters as you play you probably won't even uh understand what i'm saying you be like i have to learn how many characters but it makes sense when you get into it well if you want to play right because i ain't gonna lie quick play no pun intended but quickly was very mundane because quick play you get to a sense of or you get to a point where you're just stomping everybody. Like, it's just all over the place
Starting point is 01:23:58 because you don't know who you're going to run into. So you're just whooping everybody in quick play. But ranked is where the boys become in, because I ain't going to lie. The incompetence is on a whole different level. So you just have to overcome that to rank up. So as you've seen with my ranking, you know, I was in Silver 3 at the highest,
Starting point is 01:24:19 and I went back down to bronze one. But of course, that's current. So, you know, going forward, obviously we're going to try to climb the ranks a little bit more with that. But once again, if anybody out there is a demon when it comes to playing Marvel rivals, this is an open PSA. If you want to play with this Spider-Man right here, if you want to play with a Spider-Man that is technically comparable, as you can see on my analytics, nothing, you know, it's not blowing you out of the water. it's not blowing you know the expectations out of the water it's just letting you know that i'm a pretty solid spider man and if you want to carry me to diamond let's you well i don't even know if i think diamond's one of the ranks but you get what i'm saying if you want to carry me to at least
Starting point is 01:25:07 platinum at least carry me to platinum this is a PSA on the notorious mass effect analytic dream actually what's my what's my game attack on here this is the one time i'm actually uh this is the one time i'm actually like uh uh uh What would they say? Soliciting Invites. So as you can see with my title, NME Dreams, if you send me a friend request, I'm going to assume you're a demon. I'm obviously going to look at your stats. I don't care of what my stats say.
Starting point is 01:25:42 I'm trying to get carried. So regardless of what my stats say, you should be able to carry me. So with that being said, yeah, that's an open invite to anybody who wants to carry me. me in this game. So getting back into, actually, let me see if I can find this, but, um, okay, uh, getting back into, here we go, getting back into the overall game. It's really nothing else to talk about. I mean, I've really enjoyed the game a lot as far as my personal experience with playing the game, now having like a good amount of hours on it. Obviously not a lot, because, you know, I still got a lot to do, but, you know, I definitely, whenever a game is good, you
Starting point is 01:26:30 find time to play it and I've definitely found a lot of time to play this specific game. But with that being said, I do think that the balancing issue from adding a plethora of heroes could be a real issue when it comes to the future installments of maybe a Johnny Storm. The thing, it doesn't seem like Reed ensue and Sue is throwing off the balance too much. But whenever you get like a real DPS because I feel like Reed is more of like a a tank kind of especially with his superpower of going like of widening like widening himself or whatever anyways basically what I'm saying is adding a bunch of heroes I think the balancing issues is just going to be prominent but right now it seems like every character is viable
Starting point is 01:27:18 except for uh seemingly except for like uh Jeff because there's so many other better healers by far um but even with Jeff you know people could argue that he's pretty solid so um yeah with that being said i mean there's really nothing else to talk about besides this game still keeping his player count a month into the lifespan of this uh of the initial release date i mean it's the fourth most played game on steam it's the fourth most played game on PlayStation and obviously there's nowhere to be found on xbox but um ultimately i do believe this will end up when in game of the year because not only does it have the so many different mechanics when it comes to being fully
Starting point is 01:28:09 fleshed out as a training mode you can go to and it reminds me of tech and eight the way that the training mode and the overall map is fully freshed out like there's a whole section of the training area where you can spawn in characters and have them move at certain speeds so you can practice your aim you can go to other places of the training area and practice healing people or practice team of abilities and i don't think we've seen a game like this fully fresh fully fleshed out out the gate like usually they have to add that stuff going into the future but now they have came out the gate while all these different mechanics and just um up to date as far as it having everything in one package as soon as it launched because when it
Starting point is 01:29:07 comes to watching your footage back as far as like watching film quote unquote and like being able to rewind fast forward switch different perspectives like they've really fully fleshed out a lot of the different micro um basically uh i forget what they call it quality of life that's what it is the quality of life and this specific game is through the roof they really thought of everything when it came to training when it came to watching film when it came to game and matches and basically showcasing you actual frame data if you go to the actual marvel rival site it has like let's see marvel rivals if you go to that site they have like actual statistics you can look at for every specific hero along with um let me see if i can find this Yeah, they have statistics for every hero. So you could like right here, if you go to Marvel Rivals, you go to Marvel Rivals website, right? www.
Starting point is 01:30:22 www. MarvelRivals.com. You have the heroes. You have the events. Like, this is just fully fleshed out. And there's a lot of things in this game that makes you understand that they took their time before they released this game, which is not something you could say with every single video game. Some games come out the gate.
Starting point is 01:30:40 and they are obviously a cash grab. This game came out the gate, and they showcase what it means to put true effort into an IP that should be immensely respected. So all of these, as far as the abilities, I mean, you see the health, the movement speed. I mean, all these different statistics that they have for you. It's just fully fleshed out,
Starting point is 01:31:07 and it's very nice to see that. that they go out the way to do these type of things, because we've seen other games that've come out, mota versus, that showcase that this type of effort is not common. So that's why I believe that all things considered, Marvel rivals could end up being game of the year. And that's not even getting into the seasonal cosmetics,
Starting point is 01:31:32 the battle pass, the plan to expand the roster even more. when it comes to managing expired battle passes, they let you still earn things off of that expired battle passes. You just have to switch it. So now you get more bang for your bucks and you don't have to feel like you have to complete a battle pass before it ends because you can always go back to it.
Starting point is 01:31:57 Like those type of quality of life improvements and installments makes it leaps and bounds ahead of all the other games that try to have this free-to-play game as a service model because we've seen it fail so many times. I mean, Suicide Squad, Avengers, I mean, huge IP with popular characters that have failed to the wayside, well, multiverses that fail to the wayside because basically the developers took for granted
Starting point is 01:32:25 that gamers are more cognizant and more knowledgeable about what a great game entails and Marvel rivals showcase that it has all of that, which is why, you know, to bring it full circle. do you believe Marvel rivals can end up being game of the year? So that being said, click my link to your bio. Let me know one of my social media is. What do you think about?
Starting point is 01:32:50 Well, what do you think about my Spider-Man statistics? I want to know that overall, me soliciting somebody to carry me to platinum was not fake. If somebody is a demon in Marvel rivals and wants to put up with those Spider-Man statistics that I just put up, please let me know. and also as far as the overall discussion, do you think that Marvel rivals would end up winning Game of the Year at the Game Award show for 2025? Nintendo has just revealed more information
Starting point is 01:33:29 about this flagship console, also known as the Nintendo Switch 2. So as far as Nintendo fans out there, it is definitely a great holiday as far as January 16th, 2025 when the official announcement of the Nintendo Switch 2 came about. Now, of course, this just makes me want to reflect on the overall success of this type of console, because if you don't know, the Nintendo Switch 1, of course, just called the Nintendo Switch,
Starting point is 01:34:04 was very successful on every litmus scale you could look at. But as far as putting it into perspective on how. popular it was i wanted to compare it to the greatest consoles of all time which of course is more of a subjective metric so we're specifically getting into the objective metric which is units sold and as of december 31st 2023 so it's probably a lot more since then the nintendo switch has sold over reportedly has sold over a hundred and thirty nine million units making it one of the most top top selling consoles ever so it's one of the top selling consoles ever and as far as the list of top selling consoles of course you have PlayStation 2 the most successful console of all time that sold
Starting point is 01:35:01 around 155 million units sold then of course the second most profitable console of all time was the nintendo ds which is the second best selling console of course reaching a hundred and 154 million units and then as mentioned previously the one and only Nintendo switch falls at number three on that list as the third most profitable console of all time with of course 139 million units placing it and third in the lifetime sales rankings and that's not even taken into account an entire year as far as 2024 so we don't know where the overall ranking still lie even though there was a significant gap between the nintendo playstation two and nintendo uh switch but you know the rest of the list for those who was wondering the fourth most profitable console of all time is the game boy plus game boy color and of course the fifth most profitable console of all time is the one that people seem to not want to upgrade from which is unfortunately the playstation four or fortunately pun intended so with that being said the nintendo
Starting point is 01:36:14 and its success is based off of its unique design, right? It's both a home console and then it's a portable device. Who wouldn't want that? That's like if you took your PSP, put it into a dock, and now it's like a PlayStation, right? It's a very unique design, which in turn made it more profitable than any other console, which granted Nintendo's whole marketing strategy of downgrading the graphics to a point where It's not as budget heavy when you're building out these games brings that ROI quicker than other consoles such as the PlayStation, such as the Xbox, that put out AAA realistic graphic type quality time and time again, which hurts the ROI as far as how fast it accumulates, right? Because if you have a bigger budget, it's hard to get that ROI.
Starting point is 01:37:08 eye if you have a smaller budget which is significantly depending upon the graphics then you can see why nintendo has three of the top five most profitable concerts of all time all right enough with the history lesson now let's get into the nintendo switch reveal trailer because if you don't know it is now is out now and of course it released january 16th 2025 expected to be released sometime this year but here is the official reveal trailer with technically a first look quote unquote and then we're going to get more into the specs after this video also i forgot because analytic dreams video on spotify to see the video along with the audio so right now we're not just sitting in silence we're actually watching the video so once again analytic dreams video on spotify to see a video along with the
Starting point is 01:38:05 audio so that's the original nintendo switch larger screen i'm just narrating right now just in case y'all couldn't tell all right a design change a USBc a volume button wow who would have thunk that was going to put a volume button on that all right my fault let's keep we just I'm just just going to let this play out I think the stand is newer I believe I don't think the other one had a stand but maybe I'm mistaken all right I don't know what it's doing right now so disclaimer I never had the Nintendo switch I've played it a plethora of times of course because I'm around gamers so I play Mario cart Mario party all you type of games on the Nintendo Switch, but I never own one. But the whole premise of being able to play
Starting point is 01:39:14 with multiple people, even though you had these little joycons, you just hand them out to three other people. Now, you're playing a four-player game with these little sticks right here. I was like, why are these so small? So I'm so glad they're making it bigger. That's basically one of the bigger standouts to me. Because there's only so much I can fit in these hands. You know what I'm saying? Like, I need, I can't have a small controller. It's not going to work. Oh no, like, I think y'all can see. Okay, analytic dreams video on Spotify to see the video along with the audio. Y'all see this right here?
Starting point is 01:39:46 This, this ain't going, this, you know what I mean? It can't be a small controller because my hands are just going to, y'all get the point, right? Y'all get the point. Anyways, let's get back to this. All right, you got to love the sound effects. That was a crazy slap. But as you can tell, Nintendo Switch 2 is going to be larger. And, of course, not only is it going to be larger, but,
Starting point is 01:40:40 going to come with specific games right what type of games are you asking the one and only mario card now let me tell you something as far as mario just being the lebron james of the nintendo platform as far as carrying the entire company super mario party jamboree is the most played game on that platform mario car eight deluxe is the second most play game on that platform super smash bro well that's not that's technically not a mario game technically um Mario Luigi RPG Brotherhip is the 13th most play game on that platform. So already, and you have Super Mario Bros. Wonder, the 17th most played game on that platform. So already you have four games and the top 17 that are all Mario games.
Starting point is 01:41:29 It almost seems like that man, Mario. And of course, the top two is held by him. He has his first and second most play game on the platform. So Mario is the most popular video game character of all time, but not only that fact, he's also a very pivotal player in a Nintendo brand. Of course, we already know that. So that's why this is such a big deal as Mario Kart 9 is rumored to come along with the Nintendo Switch 2 amongst other things.
Starting point is 01:41:59 With that being said, they did say that Donkey Kong, I don't know why, but for some reason Donkey Kong's redesign was a huge deal. A lot of people pointed it out for some reason. Hey, T's on, right? So with this, obviously it was playing off the fact that they're going to be larger JoyCon style controllers with a new connection method. A lot of people wasn't a fan of the connection method because they said if it messes up, you have to buy a whole new switch. And I don't know how the original switch worked if the connection was always fired. But it seems like them messing up.
Starting point is 01:42:33 Not messing with it. Well, yeah, messing with it. And supposedly, or a lot of people are predicting they're going to mess it up as it's just, just one of those connection type of ports where it's very iffy as far as the consumer. I guess they just wanted them to keep it the same as the Nintendo Switch. Anyways, additional buttons on the right controller. A lot of people are talking about durability issues, but it's the switch. So obviously, you know, people like it enough to have it for a while.
Starting point is 01:43:01 And I don't think too many people have came out to say like, oh, it wasn't reliable, right? So I don't know why this second one would be any concern. But, you know, whenever you're changing up, a design goes back to the old mantra of if it's don't if it's not broke don't fix it but of course capitalism and greed sequels make a ton of money so you know a sequel was coming let's you see if they messed it up right and then of course you have the nintendo switch showcase scheduled for april 2nd 2025 for a more detailed announcement uh nintendo two experience events uh as far as hands-on opportunities are in various cities such as north america as
Starting point is 01:43:41 far as New York, April 4th through 6, Los Angeles, April 11th through 13, Dallas and Toronto, April 25th through 27. And then of course, the overall hands-on opportunity is also in Europe, as Paris will have their chance April 4th through to 6th. London will have their chance April 11th through the 13th. Milan and Berlin will have their opportunity April 25th through the 27th. And then Madrid and Amsterdam will have their opportunity, May 9th.5th. 9th 311th and of course Oceana Oceino
Starting point is 01:44:15 Ocea Ocea Ocean Oceania Oceania I think that's how you said It's spelled like I don't even know if that's ocean I ain't going to like I ain't going to cap to you I think I just completely bushed at
Starting point is 01:44:29 but I'm gonna keep it in because hey that's what I do here you know what I mess up you know I try my best right Melbourne basically they're going to get their hands on experience May 10th and 11th Asia Tokyo is getting their hands-on experience April 26 through 27th.
Starting point is 01:44:47 Saul, I think that's how you said it, is getting their hands-on experience, May 31st through June 1st, Hong Kong and Topey. Hopefully I said that, right? Dates to be decided. Okay, so those are all the hands-on experience, those are all the dates for the hands-on experience in those respective regions. Of course, when it comes to the carrying on carry-on case, right? or the carrying case is a soft slash hard shell case starting at 14 really $15 as far as usd but really $16.53 so it's $15.53 so we're just going to round up so approximately $16 an extra large carrying case just in case you need games on games on games when you're
Starting point is 01:45:35 traveling right that carrying case is for 2016 dollars with storage for up to 10 game cartridges in accessories we know y'all play games like that stop lying to yourself anyways storage case is about $31 for larger capacity like pro controllers multiple joycons etc so if you are a gamer just know we're going to be looking for that storage case as far as the amount of units sold so with that being said i feel like Nintendo definitely sticks to their hardware when it comes to the specific game. So a storage case would probably be in store for a lot of hardcore Nintendo consumers. But that being said, there's a transparent case, a black silicone case, and a tempered glass protection kit all for $10.
Starting point is 01:46:28 Of course, you have the 30 watts AC charger and then 65 watt AC charger. The 30 watt is $16. The $65 watt is $31. Other JoyCon accessories is the JoyCon wheel grip for $11. Folding steering wheel for immersive The folding steering wheel for a merce. I'm immature. My fault.
Starting point is 01:46:59 I had to collect myself. Folding steering wheel for immersive racing gameplay is $31, right? And then, of course, the new Mario Kart. game uh super smash bros rumors uh potential release super smash bros let me tell you something they're done with super smash bros they're not making anymore i know it's the nintendo switch two well guess what they've put everybody they could possibly put in the super smash bros what was it called like the platinum super deluxe ultimate edition like i think it was super smash bros ultimate let me see smash bros ultimate release
Starting point is 01:47:37 state i think this is the game that they basically now that's that's 18 what's the latest uh super smash bros because that game i mean i honestly don't know what else you could do to it besides putting shadow besides putting shadow into this game like i really don't know what else they could add as far as characters that would get a lot of people excited the latest game in super smash bro's oh okay it was Ultimate released on December 7th, 2018 for the Nintendo Switch. Oh, okay. So, I mean, technically, I guess it falls in line with releasing the Super Smash Bros
Starting point is 01:48:14 with every console release. But I'm pretty sure the creator say he was done with that. Because he basically said, like, bro, I did it all, done it all. Like, everything I set out to do in life, I accomplished. So I'm like, I'm done. That's basically how he was talking, right? And he made Super Smash Bros. One of the greatest games of all time.
Starting point is 01:48:31 So, you know, it made sense. So I think he said he was done with Super Smash Bros. like honestly i don't know what else they could add i guess there's so much so many maps and stuff but ultimate was supposed to have everything so the next game we have to have everything and then something right i feel like it gets very uh intensive on the hardware um okay so july 2023 december uh okay so so sakara sacri i'll take a sacri yeah sacri uh confirmed he was still making games while also creating YouTube content. This might imply that he could still be involved in future projects,
Starting point is 01:49:18 including potentially another Super Smash Bros. And then February 16, 2024, it was stated that Sakara ended his work on Super Smash Bros. coinciding with the release of the final Amoebo for the game. So basically, oh, that's 2024. That's not 2025. Okay, so the December, 2023, February, oh, okay. I don't know.
Starting point is 01:49:42 he says he's semi-retired but he's still working on games he wants to focus more so it seems like the consensus is he wants to focus more on his YouTube channel so technically he says he has fatigue back in 2021 right he spoke about an appeal for early retirement but clarified that this did not mean he will stop working on games entirely so it seems like he really wants to semi-retire and focus on his YouTube channel so really that doesn't count out another Super Smash Bros. That just leads us to believe that he may not be as involved into it. What else? That's basically it. They said that the reveal trailer is outperforming the PS5 announcement from 2020. Makes sense. People have been waiting for this for quite some time. I mean,
Starting point is 01:50:32 the original Nintendo Switch came out in 2018, right? Nintendo Switch just got announced and we are a assuming that is going to come out this year right as you can see right here april 2nd 2025 is the the actual release date for nintendo switch 2ndt and with that being said there's been a significant gap between the switch 1 and the switch 2 so it doesn't surprise me that the anticipation is so high because keep in mind this is not just some random console that they're making a sequel for nintendo switch is the third most profitable gaming console of all time. So with that, the Nintendo Switch 2 coming what,
Starting point is 01:51:21 2018, 2019, 2020, 2020, 2021, 2022, 22, 23, 24, 25. Coming eight years after the Nintendo Switch originally was released is very insane. Because I don't think that people understand the amount of impact that the Nintendo Switch had on not only the overall Nintendo company, but also mobile gaming, as far as the, I'm not going to say these came because of the Nintendo Switch, but the Steam Deck, the PSP rumors, the accessibility and the more quality of life improvements and enhancements as far as being able to game on your phone if you get one
Starting point is 01:52:13 of those uh man i forgot what they call it the things that go with the the phone for uh console games it's like mobile attachment controller for gaming just in case y'all want to get because i i also want one of these so i want to get the name right but it's uh attachment and it's called no that's oh the backbone thank you that's what i was looking for okay so the backbone is something that is very pivotal as far as playing console games on your phone and still having that same experience. Like so having a backbone at this point, it's like it's nice and the overall flexibility of it it makes it a must have for like hardcore gamers that just want to maybe game in bed, maybe gaming their living room, maybe they don't want to sit in front of their setup all the time, right?
Starting point is 01:53:07 So the backbone, Steam deck, all those options I think came because of seeing how the Switch 2 is now one of, well no the Nintendo switch is now one of the greatest selling consoles objectively speaking the third highest as far as sales is going to the Nintendo switch so that being said click my link to my bio let me know one of my social media is what do you think about the Nintendo switch to announcement and what are you most looking forward to as far as improvement or an upgrade from the original Nintendo switch it's time to have to have to have to have to have a heart to heart with insomniac because of course this is one of the game developing companies that have a part of the spider-man video game history as far as the overall history of spider-man
Starting point is 01:54:06 and what it means as far as to spider-man fans marvel spider-man one was one of the greatest spider-man if not the greatest spider-man game of all time and with that being said when they put out the sequel Marvel Spider-Man 2 technically it was working with a lot more compared to Marvel Spider-Man 1 how did it end up being a disappointment now of course when it comes to the overall finances Marvel Spider-Man 2 is definitely seen as a commercial success but because of ratchet and clank rift apart which they also have a hand in develop well the domain developers right because of that they had to have a lot of layoffs and budget cuts which leads me to believe that they are under some type of operational debt or financial pressure because of course if you don't
Starting point is 01:55:03 know insomnia is exclusively under sony so if sony's making these higher up calls as far as reducing costs leading to discussions about studio closures and significant layoffs, then how in the world are they going to keep putting out this high-level quality when it comes to the storyline that they had as far as the classic material with at the very least Marvel Spider-Man 1. Now, of course, Marvel Spider-Man 2 is not a bad game, but it left a lot to be desired because Marvel Spider-Man 1 was so classic. and then you add venom you add miles you had all the villains and backstory and character development from the first game you would think it would be leaps and bounds ahead of the original as far as story but that just simply was not
Starting point is 01:55:57 the case now there was a lot of other petty backlash as far as fans talking about oh how mj look because you know everybody loves to fall in love with pixels right so as far as mj and the umj and the overall design update for Marvel, Spider-Man 2. I don't think that was much of a big deal. But of course, people made it a big deal. So that was one of the more specific adjustments that fans did not like. One of the big adjustments that even me, myself, I was taking the back by was the face model of Peter changing because we was wondering why in the world would this happen? Now, of course, when you play a game, usually in live,
Starting point is 01:56:41 action land do they have recast and because you know maybe somebody passed away or maybe they're too old to play that character anymore so they basically have a recast and have somebody else play the character but as far as video game land it's very rare that you have a main character of a video game especially spider man that's the the entire face model changes for mid story right so they did this back in marvel spider-man remastered version they changed the face model for Peter and basically it led to a lot of which I don't agree with but it led to a lot of online harassment including death threats against the creative director now what did this all lead to because of course it was other things amongst the insomnia at fan base that was a little toxic but this ultimately led
Starting point is 01:57:31 to a 2023 data breach that we've never seen before this type of data breach was very monumental and a historical moment based on the fact that they actually received so much content that was unreleased through this data breach. People thought they were bluffing when they said the amount that they had as far as what they gained from hacking. But they ended up actually having like 1.67
Starting point is 01:58:06 terabytes of sensitive data, including employee information, game footage. I mean, we saw unreleased footage of a Spider-Man multiplayer game. Saw unreleased footage of a Wolverine game. Saw unreleased footage of what else or something else. Oh, we had the whole DOC roadmap released for Marvel Spider-Man 2, which is why when the director, well, somebody came out and said there's no DLC plans for Spider-Man 2.
Starting point is 01:58:31 They were just blatantly lying to us. The whole roadmap was leaked. We saw it clear as day. The first one was going to be Beetle, D.O.C. Beetle infestation. The second day. DoC was going to be Carnage, D.O.C. And then the third D.C.
Starting point is 01:58:46 was going to be a Spider-Man across the Spider-Verse collab. You know, that movie that's supposed to be the final or the trilogy, to end off the trilogy of the Miles Morales animated movie series as far as Spider-Man Beyond the Spider-Verse, Spider-Man to the Spider-Verse, and the Spider-Man across the Spider-Verse. That was supposed to be the trilogy, right? And the third one was supposed to come right after the movie. We just got as far as beyond the Spider-Verse. And now the release date,
Starting point is 01:59:21 let me see if I could find a release date for across the Spider-Verse. Date or the Spider-Verse. So it's supposed to be a cross-collaborative effort between the third and final, Miles Morales animated movie compared to this game. Right? So, okay, so Spider-Man Beyond the Spider-Verse was supposed to be released March 29, 2024. But now it's pushed back.
Starting point is 01:59:58 And now the rumored release date is around 2027 because of the complexities and animation production and reported creative overhaul. So now it's seemingly like two movies. It seemingly as if they have completely just fell apart. as far as their overall team. And Spider-Man until the Spider-Verse was released December 14th, 2020-2018. Spider-Man Across the Spider-Verse was released June 2nd, 2023. We were supposed to get the DLC March, well, no, not the D-L-C. We were supposed to get Spider-Man beyond the Spider-Verse March 29, 2024.
Starting point is 02:00:44 Now, that would have coincided with the third DLC date of Marvel Spider-Man 2, which we would have had to across the Spider-Verse collab with the whole. whole entire map was going to be reimagined to be uh like the spider man beyond series it's or the spider man's all right what do you even call this the spider verse series right with miles morales it would look like the entire world and it would have been the entire crossover of those two movies but guess what now it's never going to happen because of course they push back the the third movie right is uh Spider-Man Beyond the Spider-verse is said to be maybe 2027 probably 2028 like we're in 2025 nobody got time to wait that long so Marvel Spider-Man 2 is just completely um uprooted as far as
Starting point is 02:01:35 its DLC plan so they basically and along with the unprecedented leak right now the directors are saying we're not just going to we're not going to put out any DLC for Spider-Man 2 so fans are very upset and the leak that was very unprecedented to the point where all the plans up to 2030 was released from insomnia i do believe dlc could still come from marvel spider-man too hear me up because i said the third dlc is supposed to be across the spider verse collab maybe just maybe they want to temper your expectations tell you there's no dlc coming and then when it gets closer to to that time as far as when we get an actual release date for beyond the spot averse i think we'll get d oc months leading up to that as far as d oc one with beetle and d oc two with carnage leading up into
Starting point is 02:02:30 whenever this third movie comes out but of course it being pushed back so far away and the finale uh the uh the finale of d oc was supposed to be a cross collaborative effort between this movie i think now we have to wait so i think they said no d lc is coming because of the that but to play devil's advocate if you hack a gaming developing studio and release all the plans up to 2023 or no if you release all the plans up to 2030 guess what i'm not mad at them coming out and having some type of combative nature as far as condemning the people who hack their company and released all type of sensitive uh data because this is a historic data breach and we've never really seen any like this as far as the entire roadmap being unveiled to the public when it wasn't um as far as it
Starting point is 02:03:24 being premature we wasn't supposed to see any footage of the wood ring game but you have people releasing whole think pieces about it and we wasn't supposed to see any type of um any type of video when it comes to the marvel multi-player game the concept that's all i say That's all same. We weren't supposed to see any conceptual trailer of the Spider-Man multiplayer until it was actually finished. But guess what? Because it was leaked, because it was hacked, a lot of people was feeling the detrimental effects
Starting point is 02:04:03 of this 2023 data breach. So, of course, combined that with Sony laying off 900 employees across PlayStation Studios in 24 just after the data breach right and when it comes to that a lot of people criticize that for the simple fact that a lot of success came from marvel spider-man 2 and then the 900 layoffs happen across playstation studios so people were thinking that they were just being cheap and not wanting to pay anybody but really i do believe it's deeper than that if you don't know ratcheting clank rift apart cost 81 million to produce but only sold 8 million oh no only sold 2.2 million units leading to an 8 million loss so things like that happen all the time but now PlayStation oh no Sony is literally telling insomnia
Starting point is 02:05:00 focus solely on marvel properties uh focus solely on marvel properties because of the profitability that we could have in the future and the debt that we just accumulated by the unsuccessful launch of Ratchet and Klank Rift Apart is why now Insomac is solely focused on Marvel projects, which is why Wolverine, Venom, and Spider-Man 3 is not even, doesn't even have a release date now because it's getting pushback because of the data leak.
Starting point is 02:05:35 Everything else is getting pushback and postponed. So ultimately, that's why this heart to heart with Insomac exists, Because let me tell you, we're all not like the hackers. We all just want good content from Insomnia, but we aren't going to go to lengths of the people who sent the death threats. We aren't going to go to lengths of the people who hacked and stole 1.67 terabytes of your sensitive data. We're not all like that.
Starting point is 02:05:58 We just want a good Spider-Man game. That's it. And for this, simple fact, you have to know that whenever the leadership, so the creative director for Wolverine, the one, the project, the Marvel project, That's next up, right? The lead creator, Brian Horton, he left Insomniac in summer of 2024, and now he's leading, wait for it. Xbox's perfect dark reboot. Cameron Christian, the game director, so not only did the creative director lead to go to Xbox's
Starting point is 02:06:35 perfect dark, the game director, Cameron Christian, he went to another role within Insomniac, Mike Daly and Marcus Smith leads on Ratchett and Clank Rift Apart are now heading Wolverine when we just saw the numbers as far as Ratchet and Clank and the unsuccessful launch of that game. But now the heading Wolverine. Now they're leading that charge as far as making Wolverine a successful game. Not saying they can't do it. I'm just saying I'm looking at the data and somebody else could have been picked, right? So with that being said, no additional updates have been made about Spider-Man 2.
Starting point is 02:07:15 I gave you all my whole synopsis as far as what I project to be the case for that. I do believe the Beyond the Spider-Verse collab between this video game is going to happen, which is why they have to push it back. But, and all of actuality, if they really don't want to give us DOC for the Spider-Man 2 game and just want to focus on Wolverine, then I think that Wolverine has to be a banger to continue this type of success because Marvel Spider-Man 2, Wolverine, if those are both duds,
Starting point is 02:07:48 as far as underwhelming, it's going to take all the win at Marvel Spider-Man 3. Obviously, people are still going to play the game, but we're going to play the game, right? But as far as it being a success on the PlayStation platform, because if it's exclusive on the PlayStation platform, you're already excluding a whole player base.
Starting point is 02:08:06 So now it has to be immensely successful on that specific platform. And I think they missed the mark with ration and clink rift apart. But technically they said they were successful with Marvel Spider-Man 2. And Wolverine should definitely be successful, as that's a whole new take on Wolverine as far as in the video game land. So with that being said, I think Exxomniac would be okay. But as far as their leadership leading, as far as the hacks, as far as the overall changes
Starting point is 02:08:33 from Marvel Spider-Man 1 to Marvel Spider-Man 2, I think there's a lot as far as as it being fair to assume there are some shaky ground as far as them putting out solid quality. But we'll have to see when the next project eventually comes out. So with that being said, click my link, sure, in my bio, let me know one of my social media is. What do you think about the heart to heart, the insomnia? What do you think, what do you think about where they stand financially at the end of the day? Do you think insomnia could bounce back with Marvel future content? Apple has offered to pay $95 million to settle a lawsuit in which the company was accused of eavesdropping on iPhones and other devices.
Starting point is 02:09:20 The allegation is that for 10 years, Apple secretly activated the Siri on mobile devices to record people's conversations. As many of you know, Siri is the virtual assistant on Apple devices that should only be activated with the trigger words, Hey Siri. The lawsuit claimed that some of these recorded conversations were then shared with advertisers in an attempt to sell private. products to consumers they thought would most likely be interested in those products. We can speak now to our North American technology correspondent, Lily Jamali. Good to see you, Lily. I thought Tim Cook, the CEO, had said that it was a fundamental human right to have your privacy protected by the tech companies. And yet now we learn, the allegation is, they've been listening in for 10 years.
Starting point is 02:10:08 Hey, what's up with that? All right, so analytic dreams video on Spotify. See the video along with the audio because we're going to get into a lot of interesting tidbits when it comes to this whole settlement debacle with Apple because if you don't know, 95 million is a lot of dollars, right? But it's only the cap because if people do not step by step go throughout the process of claiming these breaches of privacy, then they would not be able to get their respect of, what was it, like, $20 or $30. So guess what?
Starting point is 02:10:48 Today, ladies and gentlemen, I'm going to show you how to be a grade A snitch, a blue-collared truth teller. And it's going to be very detailed. So if you want $20 or $30, well, guess what? I'm here for you, right? So make sure to subscribe or if you're on a podcast platform, make sure to rate this five stars. for sharing this with somebody who also was listening on or listening to on Siri as far as having their privacy just taken away from them, right? Like I feel just ultimately respected, like, or disrespect. I don't feel safe.
Starting point is 02:11:25 You know what I mean? I think I really do need to submit my claim for this $20 to $30 because guess what? I don't know how to sleep in night. It's hard. I go to bed. I wake up in cold sweats. And realize that Syria is probably listening to me or as we speak. Saddened history.
Starting point is 02:11:44 But anyways, RDC, one of the goats, well, the goat of content creation, they made us get about this because guess what? People knew this was happening. We couldn't, we couldn't ever prove it. And now I'm about to basically lay out the whole settlement and how they proved it because you would think that's pretty hard to prove, right? Except whenever you have an employee that's disgruntled, they will find ways to get back at you. And this is one of the ways, exposing their secrets. of them taking away your privacy.
Starting point is 02:12:11 So anyways, let's get into a little jokes right quick. As RDC World definitely went into a very hilarious skit as far as your phones listening to you. Make sure to go to Analytic Dreams video on Spotify to see the video along with the audio. He had on that Supreme shirt, I'm telling you, it was fired. Yeah, yeah, yeah, he said he paid like 150. $150. Oh, no. Nah, nah, no.
Starting point is 02:12:39 When he goes from Jay's who's something about it? The ones? Yes. Bro. They're $400. All right, I got the scoop. So start putting some Jordan Ones on the screen. He said he got the scoop.
Starting point is 02:12:49 Start putting some Supreme shirts on the screen. I heard them say something about iPad or something, put that on the screen. All right, what else shop on there? Every piece of expensive technology, fuck it, put it on the screen. Like, bro, spam Facebook, spam Instagram. I mean, really just show him any... What are you doing? I just heard y'all talking.
Starting point is 02:13:07 What are y'all doing? Okay, I'm just not gonna charge you no more than. Alright, man, chill, chill, chill, you got me. But look, I'm just trying to help you get shit that you want. So all this time I'm over here going broke, I'm thinking it's songs from God coming up on my phone, and you over, it's you. You manipulate me. Dang.
Starting point is 02:13:25 You're gonna have some discipline. It's your money, you can't blame me. I'm just living how I'm living, nigger. Get disciplined. Discipline? Okay. No, I'm gonna have some discipline. I'm gonna sell your ass. Oh, what?
Starting point is 02:13:36 What is he talking about? Oh, man. Chill, look, what's your own, man? Man, what's gonna do after you say? Tell me, you need me. Okay. And that's why I should have got an Android. Okay, you just talking, man.
Starting point is 02:13:45 Your message is going to be green. You're not going to get no holes with that. Stop playing. Whatever, man. At least I won't be broke. All right. So obviously that was one of the skits from RDC World. And adding on to that as far as having this settlement of $95 million, right?
Starting point is 02:14:05 $95 million that Siri has to pay out because of them. having we know that Apple has to pay out because of the allegations that Siri recorded private conversations without user consent so today ladies and gentlemen we're gonna figure out how to be a great A Karen but first we're gonna go through the overview of this case so the eligibility for the payout is September 17 through 2014 no September 17 2014 to December 31st 2024 so if you fall in between the eligibility period which about to show you how to sign up for it uh i'm about to show you how to put your claim in in a second so basically
Starting point is 02:14:45 make sure it falls within that date right uh with that being said uh the device is covered is the iphone ipad i mean goodness apple watch macbook i mac mac apple tv home pod ipad touch i mean it's everything imagine having a whole pod and she's listening to you like there's no privacy with that so anyways must have to swear under oath to have experienced unintended syria activation private conversations. You know how easy it is to prove that? Let's listen to one of the correspondence and them talking about one of the examples you use. America or is it people worldwide that might have been effective and how would we know? Yeah, I mean the way that we know is actually quite interesting.
Starting point is 02:15:29 Quite interesting. Translation, we fin to get paid. daughter who was a minor have been having discussions having conversations a minor no I'm just like I'm my fault let's get back to it about some of her favorite brands so Air Jordans
Starting point is 02:15:51 came up Olive Garden which is a large restaurant chain here in the United States and that in short order her daughter started being served up ads for those very same brands in Safari which is the browser that Apple
Starting point is 02:16:06 owns and operates all right so that's basically a way to truth tell she basically just laid it out how one of the plaintiffs laid out how uh Siri was listening to her without you know and what was it basically uh Siri was listening to them without their consent so all you have to do is just take a little screenshot on um i forget the web browser that they said i really don't use it was a safari that it's owned by apple if you don't know i use uh microsoft edge i think that's phenomenal especially when it comes to sending different tabs to different devices obviously you could do that on safari if you have
Starting point is 02:16:46 apple products but you know if you use multiple different like i have an aacer laptop that's not a macbook right so now i can use at microsoft edge to send tabs to my laptop and vice versa and to my pc all type of stuff all right anyways back to what i'm saying so the ultimate settlement is up to $20 per device oh per device hold up now let me see i got a watch watch right here Got a phone right here. I know I got some pros in my. What's that? That's at least like 60 right there.
Starting point is 02:17:15 Apple TV device. You know what I'm saying? What was that? We're at 80. Hey, we're just going to start firing this stuff. You know what I mean? I'm about to find all the Apple products I have and tell them I am emotionally distressed.
Starting point is 02:17:27 I can't go to sleep at night because they're listening to me. Siri is listening to me without my consent. So anyway, it's up to $20 per device and a maximum of five devices. prices per claimant. That's about, that's about $100, ain't it? You know what I'm just doing the math right quick. Anyways, claim process, obviously I'm about to go through that in a second.
Starting point is 02:17:55 The websites for the official settlement have yet to launch, right? The deadline is May 15, 2025. So, of course, you have time, but make sure to write down that deadline. May 15, 2025 is the deadline to snitch, to turn into Aubrey Graham himself and not sue, but basically be a truth teller and get a type of compensation because of this $95 million settlement, right? So anyways, the settlement requires court approval, right? The hearing on February 14, 2025. But remember, the submission deadline is May 15, 2025.
Starting point is 02:18:34 It was key allegations, recording without consent. Siri activated unintentionally, even without the hey Siri. trigger. And as we speak, I wish I could show y'all this. Oh, I can't show y'all this because it has my family out of the cover. But literally, I mean, I guess if you say, hey, Siri, like your iPhone's going to pop up. But still, you know, it's listening to me right now. It's basically telling me, hey, we know where you live and we will find you. That's basically what my iPhone telling me right now. They want me to be silenced. That's why you should definitely write this five star shirt to somebody who you think would enjoy this type of detailed truth snitching or truth telling, aka snitching.
Starting point is 02:19:11 All right. Conversations with doctors, intimate discussions and drug deals reportedly were recorded. Imagine if you had a conversation with your doctor and it was recorded without your consent. All jokes aside, this is very serious and which is why it's costing Apple so much, right? And as far as how they was caught, it was a whistleblower report back in 2019. A third-party contractor reviewed series reports. recordings that led to temporary suspension of human grading by Apple. So with that, Apple's response obviously said, you know, we're sorry.
Starting point is 02:19:50 Well, they didn't say we're sorry. They just acknowledged shortcomings, right? That's like the political way of saying it. Sorry. They permanently deleted pre-October 2019 recordings. Oh, that's going to do it. An improved series privacy features and transparency. But guess what?
Starting point is 02:20:06 They did it way too late. as with the financial and market impact apples profits 95 million to well is equivalent to nine hours of apple's net net income so it's not a lot for them but of course they wanted to settle because if they went through the if they went through the whole process of the justice system it would have ended up being more if they was found guilty right it would have been like in the billions instead of 95 million so obviously they took a business decision was like you know what let's just settle which is why a lot of famous celebrities don't like the whole me too movement because if somebody is incorrect or is falsely claiming them all that
Starting point is 02:20:49 monetary value as far as resources have to go towards that case and if they end up winning guess what they can't like counter sue them because what do they have right so that's just like a devil's advocate um example for you know why a celebrity celebrity don't like being falsely accused but you know sometimes um more times or not they aren't falsely accused which is why these things happen in the first place so anyways um tech industry trends uh okay yeah so time time to get into the best part of this segment we're about to gain the truth tell central truth tell central is right here so ladies and gentlemen what i have up here right now analytic dreams video on spot to see the video along with the audio this is a step by step
Starting point is 02:21:35 example on how to truth tell now what if i can zoom in can zoom in let me zoom in right quick uh zoom in what is a control t all right there you go all right y'all can see that right uh let's see that am i cutting it out okay i'm not okay cool all right so basically oh i missed it up um i there go so i'm gonna read the steps out obviously i'm showing you the most important steps right here to submit your claim. Remember, up to five devices. Five times 20. Hey, get you a bingey off of this truth telling.
Starting point is 02:22:13 You know what I'm saying? Anyways, step one, you have to identify the settlement, right? You have to realize that the eligibility period, things of that nature. The lawsuit covers users from September 17th, 2014 to December 31st, 2024, right? And then you have to visit the settlement website. So all you have to do for the Siri privacy settlement, go to www. Siri privacy settlement.com
Starting point is 02:22:38 as you can see in the top, right? It's step two right here. Don't forget step by step. I laid it out for y'all so I can't say I never helped you get to the fetishini, right? All right. The other website, www. smartphone performances,
Starting point is 02:22:54 no, performance settlement.com. And of course, the family sharing one is www. peters family sharing plan. dot com now this is where it gets into the nitty gritty detail this is where the snitching goes through the roof because right when you get to either one of these sites i would probably use the serial privacy one right provide your name address impossible social security number for tax purposes
Starting point is 02:23:18 and then of course the device or issue information depending on the settlement you might need to provide device serial numbers proof of purchase or a sworn decade a declaration of experiencing the issue. What I think as far as going off the last video I just showed you, showcasing how there's an ad and then you could talk about how you spoke about the ad consistently up until that point, right? As far as that day, the day before, things like that. And then just send them like a screenshot of Safari recommending whatever ad they recommended to you and then make your story around that, right? Then you choose your payment method on how you want to be compensated for your snitching efforts, right?
Starting point is 02:24:00 right and select how you want to receive your payment proof of eligibility for some settlements you'll need to upload or mail proof like receipts or records of your device or records of your device experiencing the issue like i said screenshots a screenshot of safari giving you certain ads and i would just base my story around that and then guess what now that's your proof and they've already settled right so it's not like the court's going to be like nah you line they're going to be like we've been waiting for somebody to truth tell like this is a This is a cap of 95 million. So that means all that 95 million as far as 100, there's a bunch of different people. How? Let's do 95 million divided by 100. See how many people can get compensated. So 95 million. And this is like the max 100, right?
Starting point is 02:24:47 So most people aren't even going to have five devices, but we're going to do the max. So 95 million, right, divided by 100. So not 150,000 people can get the maximum compensation of $100. So obviously, you have a great chance. There's not a lot of people in the world, but still, if you follow this advice, right, you'll probably be one step ahead of those people, and it's already a significant pool for the $100. All right. So after you go through the, you know, payment method, things of that nature, then you have to submit, right?
Starting point is 02:25:20 Make sure that you have to submit before the deadline of May 15, 2025. If you don't submit before that deadline, I don't know what to tell you. and after that of course you just got to wait and let the courts be ever in your favor so once again you can take a screenshot of this or type this in as i'm you know stalling for y'all to take notes of this or whatever and then what else um yeah that's basically it so with that being said you know that's why you should definitely rate this five stars or subscribe if you're on youtube or click my link tree in my bio to follow me on my social media is or you know what I'm saying send your boy a little donation you know I'm saying maybe a couple
Starting point is 02:26:03 of that hundred you know I'm saying just a little 20 30 of that hundred for the for the for the for the freaky you know I'm saying just just for me putting you on but you know that's whatever it's whatever you know I mean I'm here to do the Lord's work now Laura's work is truth telling on non law abiding activities and with that being said click my link to you in my bio let me know one of my social media is what do you think about Apple having the 95 million settlement for Siri, out of all things, for Siri recording private conversations without user consent, and are you going to be,
Starting point is 02:26:42 oh, dang, Siri on my body right now. She's like, she's mad for real that I made this segment. But now, click my link to your in my bio. Let me know one of my social media. This is where you think about Apple's $75 million settlement. And what do you think about the allegations that Siri recorded private, conversations without user consent.
Starting point is 02:27:03 As you know, we have been fighting to protect the constitutional right to free speech for the more than 170 million Americans who use our platform every day to connect, create, discover, and achieve their dreams. On behalf of everyone at TikTok and all our users across the country, I want to thank President Trump for his commitment to work with us to find a solution that keeps TikTok available in the United States. This is a strong stand for the First Amendment and against arbitrary censorship. As we've said, TikTok is a place where people can create communities, discover new interests, and express themselves,
Starting point is 02:27:48 including over 7 million American businesses who are in the living and gain new customers using our platform. We are grateful and pleased to have the support of a president who truly understands our platform, one who has used TikTok to express its own thoughts and perspectives, connecting with the world and generating more than 60 billion views of his content in the process. To all American users, thank you for making our TikTok community such a rich and vibrant space, for surprising and delighting us every day.
Starting point is 02:28:19 Rest assured, we will do everything in our power to ensure our platform thrives as your online home for limitless creativity and discovery, as well as the source of inspiration and joy for years to come. Thank you. More to come. Hi everyone, the show here. Analytic Dreams video on Spotify to see the video along with the audio because I swear you cannot make this stuff up. TikTok just put out an official statement from the official TikTok TikTok profile, right? These people said, an agreement with our service providers, TikTok as in the process, a restoring service.
Starting point is 02:29:01 y'all want to know who they think give a second okay we thank president trump for providing the necessary clarity and assurance to our service providers that they wouldn't face no penalties providing ticot to over 170 million americans in allowing over seven million small businesses to thrive It's a strong stand for the First Amendment. And against arbitrary censorship, we will work with President Trump on a long-term solution that keeps TikTok in the United States. Now it gets better, ladies and gentlemen, because you can't make this stuff up, right? So let's go from that statement to what Trump had to say. And as of today, TikTok is back.
Starting point is 02:30:01 Almost like he brought it back. So, you know, I did a little TikTok thing. We have a guy. TikTok Jack, he's a young kid. TikTok Jack. And we hired this guy, and I went on TikTok. Can you believe what I'll do to win an election? And we went on TikTok,
Starting point is 02:30:27 and Republicans have never won the young vote, the youth vote. They win a lot of votes, but they never won the youth vote. We won the youth vote by 36 points. Ah. You know what? I ain't gonna lie to you. That's a great explanation. That man basically told y'all, it's for the love of the game.
Starting point is 02:30:48 I don't love TikTok. I love being in office because not too long ago, because this makes the whole situation even funnier. Because it wasn't too long ago that Trump introduced the idea of a TikTok band. Don't believe me, listen to the man himself, talk about TikTok. When I wanted to disable TikTok three years ago, I was met with opposition from rhinos, Democrats, and everyone else. Opposition. We actually went to court in an effort to stop me.
Starting point is 02:31:17 We're looking at TikTok. We may be banning TikTok. We may be doing some other things. There are a couple of options, but a lot of things are happening. So we'll see what happens. But we are looking at a lot of alternatives with respect to TikTok. We gave them until September 15th. after that they got a close shop
Starting point is 02:31:37 not closed shop we're looking at TikTok we're thinking about making a decision we're going to be watching the hearings today very closely because there's no question TikTok is one thing that we're doing and we just
Starting point is 02:31:51 I don't know maybe I would have done that anyway I don't know it could have been affected by all right so obviously you can see that Trump is the one that introduced the idea of banning TikTok So why is that so significant?
Starting point is 02:32:05 Well, ladies and gentlemen, guess what? You would have thought it was Avengers endgame the way America was snapped away from TikTok and we just magically ended right back up on the app. Now, how does that work? Well, essentially, TikTok actually took away its services in the U.S. And shut down for at least, oh, approximately 14 hours on Saturday night.
Starting point is 02:32:29 And with that, you know, they voluntarily shut down. So hopefully I don't think they, the US did this by any stretch of imagination and what happened is tick tock just like they did with umg just like they would do with any other company that play plays ball like or plays hard ball like this because if you don't know the whole UMG versus tic tok fias skill i covered on my platform you know shameless plug if you type in tictock analytic dreams all my coverage of that will pop up but with that being said tick to ticot and umg were at odds to the point where they took away all the umg are artist from the tic-tock platform so it wasn't just government going at um it wasn't just the
Starting point is 02:33:12 government going at tic-tok before that it was tic-tok versus umg as try see if i can't find it where is it at tic-tok i can't find in my own algorithm okay tic-tok uh universe of music group oh yeah it's literally typed out but it's not i just put UMG my fault okay so umg uh all the way back in january 31st 2024 i covered this on my platform universal music group versus ticot and they took all the artists from ticot you know why because ticot is a pivotal player in today's society when it comes to every single app so umg looked at ticot saw they was getting too big for the britches as far as the quote you know and they took all the musicians away from it but the big is the big is that the big is that they're
Starting point is 02:34:07 gangster in the industry which is Taylor Swift she came out and said you know what if you don't put UMG artists back on a TikTok platform I'm gonna do the same thing that I did to school abroad which is weaponized my fan base for a greater cause which is why UMG end up striking a deal with TikTok and coincidentally that deal as far as the ultimate uh stance that they had of or against TikTok It suddenly didn't hold that much credence because now the gangster industry told them to return all the UMG artists to TikTok. And guess what? Lucian Grange did just that. So not only did TikTok defeat UMG, but now it seems like they're going to defeat the United States government because it's not like they was going to do it in the court of law in the United States, right?
Starting point is 02:35:03 basically they called the U.S. 's bluff by voluntarily shutting down. It's supposed to shut down on Sunday. They volunteered. They voluntarily shut down TikTok for 14 hours on Saturday, potentially helping with their stance of, hey, we'll actually take our services
Starting point is 02:35:23 away from the U.S. We don't need y'all. So with that being said, that's why the wording of this is so interesting how the owner of TikTok basically said Trump said that we will be okay to deliver services to the U.S. and we want to be penalized because they was basically like hey we're just going to take it down we're not going to divest we're not doing any of that we're just going to take it down took it down early just to let y'all know that we stand on business and now the U.S. is like no we was just bluffing you can put it back
Starting point is 02:35:51 up we'll just work out a deal and postpone the band-date so so they didn't think that TikTok was going to take it all the way right so now that they're back up Trump probably talked to him about long-term options as far as owning TikTok 50-50 as I believe he says that right here. I forget what he says it. But anyways, he says somewhere where he wants to have a 50-50 split.
Starting point is 02:36:20 Trump proposed a 50-50 joint venture between bite dance and an American buyer as a possible resolution but didn't clarify whether it was satisfied Congress. Which, to be honest, if you want somebody to divest, that's not any type of split. You know, that's basically them giving their assets and resources in the U.S. to you, which is very interesting.
Starting point is 02:36:42 Let me just leave it like that. Trump also claimed that TikTok played a role in engaging youth voters during his election campaign. So I'm not going to lie to you. I think that's a pretty fair reason to flip-flop. If you're the reason that TikTok is about to get banned, but now you're advocating for it to stay in the U.S. And you simply tell the public, literally told us, it was because, the youth voters were voting Democrat, but this election, they voted Republican. And if you don't know, in other presidential elections or higher power selections,
Starting point is 02:37:16 they basically cater towards the people who voted for them. That's how it's been since the beginning of time. The way you get into office, the people who voted and put you there, you have an inclination to help them out before getting to the other problems that the people who didn't vote for you. I forgot what I said. But basically, helping people out who voted for you takes precedence over helping the people who didn't vote for you, right? And whatever problems they're going through.
Starting point is 02:37:45 So I'm not saying this right. It's just saying that I understand why Trump just completely turned a 180 as far as the TikTok situation. Now, when it comes to that, the law still requires bite dance to divest TikTok to an American buyer. So it's not Trump type of verbiage in this lawsuit. The law is requiring bite dance to divest to TikTok to an American buyer, but bite dance has resisted selling, especially it's valuable, very valuable algorithm. I keep telling you all. That's all they want.
Starting point is 02:38:21 They just want to know how in the world are you doing such a great job at promoting independent artists when the major machines have ran the game for since its inception? That's the main thing that TikTok is great with, helping independent artists and businesses, right? That's why even the owner of TikTok in his video, as far as it coming back, he basically said that TikTok helps out a lot of small businesses, which basically can attribute to independent owners, right? So TikTok helps out a lot when it comes to marketing and the tool around that system.
Starting point is 02:38:59 So that's basically what they are wanting. but as far as divesting and being resistant to divesting senators like tom cotton in Arkansas and p. Ricketts in Nebraska they oppose any extensions basically demanding full divestitistature divestiture divestiture no because it's an eye in the middle of that I think it's divestisdicture okay I messed that up whatever to so to sever ties with China. And then with that being said, of course, Frank McCourt's group is willing
Starting point is 02:39:38 to buy TikTok U.S. assets without the algorithm. That's interesting. Why would you buy something where it's most important asset you don't want? That doesn't make sense to me. Whatever. Kevin O'Leary's group discussed the app's future with Trump. I believe that's a guy from Shark Tank, if I'm not mistaken.
Starting point is 02:39:58 Elon Musk was also reported as a potential buyer, but has denied the claims. And then when it comes to TikTok's algorithm is obviously as most important asset, like I always lay out whenever I talk about the music industry. TikTok, if you don't know, with any small business, if you're not using TikTok as a promotional platform, you are behind.
Starting point is 02:40:19 And that's as simple as I can put it. So anyways, companies hosting TikTok, Oracle, Apple, Google, could face fines up to 5,000 per user and legal challenges under the act. But of course, they're basically bluffing. They got the bluff called by TikTok when they
Starting point is 02:40:36 voluntarily shut down Saturday when the date was for Sunday. And guess what? The U.S. was like, hey, we was just joking. We still want to do a deal, but we actually don't want to ban you right now. We're just going to think about it. And we're going to postpone the ban. They don't want to ban
Starting point is 02:40:52 TikTok. They're just trying to force TikTok to divest, and they don't know how to do it. They don't know what tactic to use. You know how in every spot movie, when somebody's not giving it up and then they find that one thing to make them talk that's basically how the u.s government is treating ticot right now either you give us the u.s portions of ticot or face a ban and guess what they called the bluff they're like you know what we're just gonna shut down services in the u.s early and u.s basically was like you know what let's just postpone it right quick and just
Starting point is 02:41:28 come up with actual solution so now i think the 50-50s joint ventures I think that's going to be the most pivotal. But like I keep saying, U.S. wants that algorithm. I don't think it's the privacy. They could care less about your privacy. TikTok's doing the same thing, Instagram, same thing Twitter, same thing Facebook is doing. They're doing the same thing. Taking your data, selling it to other companies, how do you think these tech companies run the world?
Starting point is 02:41:52 So TikToks do the same thing that they're doing. They are just hating on the algorithm. And once they figure out the algorithm, I think they'll stop hating. But until then, they're going to completely. hate and ask them to divest or come into a 50-50 joint venture. But with that being said, click my link, sure in my bio. Let me know one of my social media is. What do you think about TikTok's resurgence and us being Thanos snap?
Starting point is 02:42:15 But now we're back on the TikTok planet, right? What do you think about that? And what was your biggest takeaway from this whole fiasco? South Korea's impeached president, Yun Sukyoel, has become the country's first ever sitting leader to be arrested. The massive law enforcement operation involved more than 3,000 police officers. at the presidential compound. Ewan is being investigated for criminal insurrection
Starting point is 02:42:41 after his botched attempt to impose martial law at the end of last year. Juno Moon, with our partners at the BBC News, is more from Seoul. This is the first time in the country's constitutional history that the sitting president has been arrested. Yuen is now at the corruption investigative office. All right, analytic dreams video on Spotify
Starting point is 02:43:01 to see the video along with the audio because we definitely have a lot to get into. Now, I knew there was some reason, that wasn't seeing big hit entertainment a lot as far as the top albums as far as the top singles because if you don't know back in december 3rd 2024 martial law was declared now who was it declared by well that's a great question because as the video just said president eunuchio i think that's how you said probably messed it up with that being said he's the one that declared martial law citing all type of threats from anti-state forces and parliamentary, yeah,
Starting point is 02:43:44 parli-oh, yeah, I think I said that right, parliamentary disputes. As far as the duration of this martial law, it was overturned within hours by the National Assembly highlighting Democratic resilience. So, why would he declare martial law if he knew that the public back, backlash was going to be so intense, right? Literally, the protesters erupted nationwide, not only in that, in that area, but nationwide, with fears of a return to authoritarianism. And that is where I wanted to turn the focus to what I cover a lot as far as the music industry,
Starting point is 02:44:29 because big hit entertainment has some of the biggest, have some of the biggest artists in the world. And not only Big Kid Entertainment, but then you have agencies like SM, YYP, of course, Hib. And then with that being said, they were immensely affected by this martial law.
Starting point is 02:44:51 Even K-pop's events such as Black Pink's comeback, BTS concerts, and 17 fan, the 17 musician, like the name of the group is called 17. Their fan meetings were postponed.
Starting point is 02:45:09 I did not realize how much of a confusing name 17 would be until you start reading off their name as just an artist's name. But it's not 17 fans. It's a 17 music artist. Yes, it's
Starting point is 02:45:25 confusing. They got to change your name. I ain't a lot to you. All right. So with that being saying, as you can tell, the K-pop industry was immensely affected by martial law. Now, BTS is something I also wanted to focus on as they are expected to regroup because if you don't know, they're basically serving mandatory military time, right? And they're set to make the full comeback in June 2025. And all members will have completed their mandatory military service by this time with sugar being the last to be discharged on June 21st, 2025.
Starting point is 02:46:08 Now, of course, what does that mean? We're about to get a huge marketing rush of BTS content because they ran basically, let's see, because even individually with sugar with Junkook, I mean, Junkook really had probably the better run individually out of all the BTS members combined, right? And when we're talking about artists like Cheyenne and Steak, it's like Stacey, so Steak, how have you pronounced it? Those specific K-pop musicians obviously spoke out about martial law and they talked about how a lot of people were not liking the fact that authoritarianism could have happened. And that is the main cause for the outcry and it going so nation. nationwide because obviously I heard about it. It was such a big deal and I don't live there.
Starting point is 02:47:15 So you know, you kind of realize how big of a deal some things are when it starts to get nationwide. Not even just like the U.S. is just nationwide. So anyways, uh, BTS back in the 2016 run really saw their biggest numbers in 2019 when nearly half of the entire music market's physical album sales in Korea. well they had accounted for half of the entire music market's physical album sales in South Korea BTS also sold
Starting point is 02:47:48 around 10 million out of the 24 million total albums sold that year so we're talking about BTS are the flagship artists of K-pop so if you think of K-pop think of BTS as the mascot of K-pop sort of like how I say Drake is the
Starting point is 02:48:06 mascot of hip-hop because if you look at it from an objective standpoint, is either Drake or is M&L. Objectively speaking, both of them are the most consumed hip-hop rappers. If you're looking at pop, it's either Taylor Swift or Taylor Swift. There's really nobody else who's competing with Taylor Swift when it comes to numbers-wise. Talking about rock, obviously you can say Zach Bryan or Morgan Wall.
Starting point is 02:48:27 You get the point, right? There's mascots for every single genre and for K-pop. That is by far in a way, BTS. So because of them having to serve mandatory military, military time and now they had to disband and go on their individual solo careers junk cook went insane as far as solo wise and he really put up numbers that was very apparent that he was about to take over i mean we had jack hollow feature from junk cook we had a lot of feature from junk cook uh who else hopped on a junk cook wave like junk could i probably wanted a better um individual
Starting point is 02:49:05 just k-pop careers like forget just btsk um k-pop careers so yeah you had oh even central c and the kidleroy jumped on john kook's way this is all the way back in 2023 john cook in 23 was as hot as fish grease but because of him being from where he's from and then being under big hit entertainment you probably didn't know that because of it's overseas impact it's so big that it just bled over into like nationwide
Starting point is 02:49:37 So anyways, they're set to make the full comeback as far as BTS June 2025. Why is that big deal? Because, of course, when it comes to BTS, they've won over 250 awards, including several... How do you pronounce it? Day sang A. All, they sang. They sang, and they... No, I just want to lose you.
Starting point is 02:50:04 All right, so several day sing awards in South Korea. There are songs like Spring Day Dynamite, Boy Would Love Butter have all been recognized as Song of the Year at the Mellon Music Awards multiple times. So when it comes to success, BTS is obviously the top dogs when it comes to K-pop. Also, when it comes to this martial law, getting back to that, right? Yun's arrest is historic. He's the first sitting president ever to be detained, right, charged with rebellion and facing potential life imprisonment. They are not playing around with this declaration of martial law.
Starting point is 02:50:39 Also, the arrest followed failed earlier attempts involving standoffs with presidential security. And Yun impeached following the martial law declaration, of course, with the constitutional court reviewing the case. Political disarray led to the impeachment of the prime minister and acting President Hahn Duxo. And of course, with the protesters, they were definitely hoping that this would end as far as the martial law. and they clashed near eune's compound and detention center and in slogans it signs underscored the divided public sentiment so it came to the public when it came to the martial law declaration obviously you just heard why he did it but still a lot of people took it as a reason for him to be impeached and now he's impeached and
Starting point is 02:51:35 currently in custody so with that going back to the k-pop aspect because I cover the music industry so this had a huge impact on them as far as them having to have a stoppage of work i mean major k-pop events like i once said uh black pink's comeback showcase bt s concerts and their group named 17 and their fan meetings were postponed so with that year-end festivals were also affecting the k-pop industry so if you're wondering why we're not seeing more artists from big hit entertainment come up and blow up on the scenes will that specific because martial law was declared and they had to make an example out of the president making him the first sitting president ever to be detained and charged with rebellion and facing potential life imprisonment. Now, when it comes to the global impact, obviously a lot of people are influenced by a lot of things whether it's caritos, tambados, whether it's country, whether it's hip-hop, whether it's reggae tone
Starting point is 02:52:39 whether it's what's it called like the rave music I forget what this but apparently people have been saying I need to cover that more as far as the raved music
Starting point is 02:52:48 apparently that's like a whole genre and stuff that's very popular so I'm gonna look at it but can't make no provisces especially those people will be wild and I guess hence the name
Starting point is 02:52:57 so anyways that's all I have about the martial law declaration was definitely a big deal happened all the way back in December 3rd, 2024,
Starting point is 02:53:07 but of course, we're seeing the repercussions as they're taking serious actions against their president. And culturally, K-pop as a symbol for South Korea, you know,
Starting point is 02:53:18 had to have a tarnish on his reputation for the simple fact that they had to have a stoppage of work, which threw a lot of things out of order as far as everybody being affected by the martial law declaration. So with that being said,
Starting point is 02:53:34 click my link to my bio let me know one of my social medias what do you think about president youne declaring for martial law citing the threats from anti-state forces in parliamentary disputes and overall that getting into him being the first president ever charged with rebellion and facing potential life what is your biggest takeaway from this event and which car which k-pop musician are you most excited to see jump back into the billboard how 100 time to get into who I've always considered the most talented human on planet earth now of course without putting too much sauce on it I just want to let you know that we're getting into Chris Brown's 500 million dollar lawsuit against
Starting point is 02:54:31 Warner Burroughs discovery and one of the things I want to lay out first and foremost before we get more in depth as far as the lawsuit is that all of of us have made mistakes in life. And of course, with us going to make mistakes in the future, I believe second chances are necessary. But there's certain acts that's seemingly impossible to be forgiven or to have forgiveness from the public. Now for this specific segment, we're going to get into a lot of things when it comes to Chris Brown and his battles with, with the justice system, but in general, I would say most times people should be given second chances as far as mistakes that they've made in life.
Starting point is 02:55:23 Now that being said, let's get into one of the things that helps with those second chances, which is serving the time for the crime. Not trying to sound like a police officer, but of course, when Chris Brown assaulted Rihanna in 2009. He was sentenced to five years of probation, 1,400 hours of community labor, and a year-long domestic violence counseling program. But that's not it, ladies and gentlemen. Rihanna herself seemingly forgave Chris Brown in the years following, as in 2012, Chris Brown and Rihanna reconciled publicly. Not only did they reconcile, but they made business ventures together as far as collaborating on two,
Starting point is 02:56:10 tracks titled Birthday Cake and Nobody's Business, which Rihanna had so much scrutiny for as far as put upon her for collaborating with Chris Brown. Because we all know with DV situations, oftentimes the victim is put in a situation to where they feel like they have to forgive the other person. But in this case scenario, a lot of people were just violently opposed to. to Rihanna ever forgiving Chris Brown, even though he did serve the time for the crime. Now, of course, Rihanna forgiving him isn't the only thing that should make you give Chris Brown the second chance. As even more into the future, Rihanna and Chris Brown made a lot of various public events such as NBA games, award shows. Notably, 2013, they attended the Grammy Awards show together.
Starting point is 02:57:06 So certain things like that where I believe that his actions obviously were not the greatest as far as being a law-abiding citizen. You should never put your hands on a woman and think that you're going to continue to be a man and not face the consequences. Right. So with Rihanna, obviously we're going to get to the lawsuit in a second. I'm trying to lay it out for you because these are the type of, this is the instance that changed Chris Brown's public perception forever. So the reason why I'm starting with this is because it's so important that you know the overall details that actually happen instead of people trying to say that Chris Brown should be forever forsaken for this egregious act, right? Rihanna also spoke about the
Starting point is 02:57:52 incident in 2009 and in 2015, basically saying that they were very young and it was embarrassing, but that was something that we both went through together. It happened. I've put it behind me. We don't have to talk about it if we don't want to. Now, that is her sentiments on the entire situation that happened in 2009 and 2015. So she had time to think about it, collect her thoughts, look at hindsight, and she still came with the fact that I've put it behind me. We don't have to talk about it if we don't want to as far as in her Vanity Fair interview. Now, when she says that she felt protective about Chris Brown after the incident, I think that's
Starting point is 02:58:32 where a lot of people gain some type of pushback against her because, you know, as far as a DV situation, sometimes they feel like as a victim, they are the ones in the wrong, which is obviously not the case, but mentally speaking, I'm not a psychologist, but for the most part, they feel like they are attached to that person and can never break away. So now they feel protective, which Rihanna said that about Chris Brown, which led to the point that a lot of people was just like, oh, she's just blind about Chris Brown and just his actions. But with that being said, just want to lay that out to let you know that riana has publicly time and time again forgave chris brown and with that both of them have always acknowledged each other in a positive
Starting point is 02:59:13 like going forward even after they incident so reason why said that is because it brings us into our 500 million dollar lawsuit because yes ladies and gentlemen chris brown has found himself in this situation once again but this time we believe well they are saying that is unequivocally false Now, if you have a documentary made about something that's allegedly false, guess what? It's time to sue. It's time to put on your Aubrey Graham suit and turn into the blue collar snitch. That's exactly what Chris Brown did. As the $500 million lawsuit against Warner Bros.
Starting point is 02:59:51 It's basically over the documentary release, which is titled Chris Brown, A History of Violence and it debuted in October 2024 on Warner Bros. investigative investigation discovery channel talk about the big wigs the higher ups letting you know that we are forever going to remind you of this incident so anyways no matter what the reconciliation was or you doing your time for the crime they don't care right public opinion is indefinite as far as them putting their ultimate um i forget what the word is basically them giving you your sentence right the public perception sentence is indefinite if they feel like it sees if it still fits the situation.
Starting point is 03:00:39 So anyways, this lawsuit was fired January 22nd, 2025 in Los Angeles Superior Court. And Warner Bros is obviously being sued along with ample entertainment and individuals involved in the documentary production. And the reason for it is because Chris Brown and his history as far as even after Rihanna, And a lot of things that the documentary was talking about was, quote unquote, from Chris Brown's lawyers, it was false information. And now the lawsuit is claiming liberal and intentional infliction of emotional distress. And then reputation damages, of course, you're a public figure, but then when you get into the lawsuits being false, allegedly, and then them promoting it as if it's
Starting point is 03:01:28 true, talking about the history of Chris Brown violence. So now, with that being, said this documentary is set to damage his public image and now they want financial um they basically want financial damages well the financial damages is saw is typical well right now is 500 million dollars with a portion pledge to support survivors of sexual abuse so they want some compensation for the financial well no for the reputation damage and then for the defamation so which those two are the same thing but one of the biggest things to talk about in this documentary because there's a lot in the documentary if you haven't watched it i would i don't know as far as understanding both perspectives i'm always a proponent of that because i feel like that makes you overall
Starting point is 03:02:19 more aware of the situation so if you want to watch the allegedly false documentary one of the things that stood out was jane doe accusation in 2022 where jane do basically claimed that chris brown that's pretty explicit So it's PG podcast. So we're going to try to say that it was a lot of drugs involved. And he allegedly forced himself upon Jane Doe on Sean Diddy Combs yacht in 2020. And Sean just get his name thrown in all type of situations at this point, right? Jay Z and now Chris Brown.
Starting point is 03:02:55 Anyways, the case was dismissed with neither party attending the hearing, right? Despite the withdrawal, Jane. Doe's attorney, Errol Mitchell, or Ariel Mitchell, resumed representation in 2024, maintaining her client's claims. Now, the other person highlighted in this documentary was none other than the famous Karoochie. Now, I ain't going to lie to you. Chris Brown roster needs to be studied in the history books.
Starting point is 03:03:28 But that's besides the point. I'm sorry, we just had to get back to it. Karuchi allegations as far as in 2017, Chris Brown's, said that his ex-girlfriend accused him a physical assault and resulting in a restraining order. Now that one, I ain't going to lie to you. I'm not saying I believe it or don't believe it. But all I'm saying is, it was a very interesting attempt to gain Karucci's attention. And that's why I'm going to leave it at because obviously, I try to keep it eight more than 92,
Starting point is 03:03:57 but I ain't going to lie to you. The way that Chris Brown was trying to get Karooch's attention, that's one of the parts of the documentary that I was like, hey, maybe a legend. I could see that happening, right? But anyways, let's keep going. Lazzani. I don't know who that is, but, and obviously, I don't even know how to pronounce this. Am I even pronouncing this, right?
Starting point is 03:04:16 We're going to use Jarvis right quick to find out how to pronounce this. Lysian Gutierrez. All righty. Whatever that is, doubt's play. All right, so what did she say? She said, Lysiani Gutierrez, the incident in 2016, right? Gatirez alleged that Brown punched her for recording him. him without consent goodness that is insane now with that being said they also went back to the
Starting point is 03:04:42 famous the infamous situation with rihanna and krist brown back in 2009 where he was convicted because he was convicted for this one for physically assaulting riana receiving five years of probation so everything that that was listed as far as the jane do in 2022 carucci in 2017 and lindsayan Liziani or whatever Guterres in 2016 only the Rihanna one which is like four people to highlight him only the Rihanna one he was convicted of so with that something else was brought up the 2019 Paris lawsuit now this makes it five as far as the people to highlighting but in 2019 Paris lawsuit sued a woman who accused him of something denying claims oh accused him of forcing himself a partner denying claims as an attack on his character and morals so with that being said those
Starting point is 03:05:38 are the five things that he's highlighting in the documentary uh well not all of course the riana one not because he's not highlighting the riana one because you know basically he was convicted for it so it's not like it's false but the other four uh he's targeting those is defamation right warner bros and ample entertainment stand by the work of course because guess what we are going to vigorously defend against the lawsuit because we're not in the wrong we can make whatever we want and guess what you got to deal with it so now with Chris Brown having the resources that he has because usually you don't have the resources to go against a conglomerate like a Warner Bros. right so now that you do have the resources necessary to even put forth this type of effort towards a lawsuit towards Warner Bros and
Starting point is 03:06:25 ample entertainment they are going to to fight you to the fullest extent of the law so also As far as Chris Brown's legal team, he has, they have accused producers of the documentary of malice, ignoring publicly available court records and evidence, importance to prior text messages revealing dishonesty and the Jane Doe's accusation. So when it comes to that, you know, there's a lot of things to get into because at first glance, you're looking at it and you see the $500 million number, right? That's insane. as far as compensation for defamation. But when you're a public figure, I'm no lawyer, but I've heard time and time again from very notable lawyers that defamation as a public figure
Starting point is 03:07:15 and proving that in the court of law is very difficult because of you being a public figure, they can say whatever they want. They just can't put certain things on you. Like notoriously, Tasha Kay said that Cardi B had an STD, right? You can't do that because that's illegal. But as far as Cardi B being trash as a musician, as far as Cardi B being ugly or something, like you could say that and not face any defamation.
Starting point is 03:07:42 But that type of accusation that Tasha K put on Cardi B was so egregious and she kept saying, and not even that. They have to send like a C-synthesis, I believe. And then after that, they could charge you to like the fullest extended a lot, which to that point, Tasha K owes Cardi B like $3, $5 million, right? of course she didn't have it so guess what now forever which is like in perpetuity right something like that tasha k is in all is always going to be in debt for car to be now she's got to pull what you know i'm not trying to snitch her anybody but the rapper game he may be doing that for something
Starting point is 03:08:18 i'm not going to say what it is but she may have to start putting actually she's probably already doing it she's probably putting all her stuff in somebody else's name that she trusts and basically doesn't have a dime to her name so she doesn't have to pay out the um three to five million dollars to carty b because essentially she owes carty b that money like she lost the defamation lawsuit because she kept saying you know cardi b had you know what and now she owes cardy three to five million dollars so now if we're talking about tasha k let's talk about a huge conglomerate like warner bros right and their documentary as far as chris brown the history of violence that debuted on october twenty twenty four on warner bros investigation discovery channel it's a
Starting point is 03:09:00 little bit more exposure than Tasha Kay's YouTube channel. Let's just put it like that. So now when the number is $500 million, it's going to be even more competition as far as proving that in the court of law because now you have the best of the best lawyers fighting on behalf of Warner Bros. And ample entertainment. So along with that, with him having the resources as far as last year he went insane statistically speaking i mean chris brown had the most listened to rnb album in the year of twenty twenty four with eleven eleven chris brown had the most listened to rm b album of the whole year of twenty twenty four with eleven eleven and of course everybody knows how residuals is one of the better r mb tracks of
Starting point is 03:09:50 twenty twenty four and even that had a lot of statistics on the chart where even till today in twenty five when when you look at the charts as far as Billboard Hot 100 Chris Brown with Residuals has yeah residuals is the 76 most play track in the world
Starting point is 03:10:11 currently and it's been on the charts for about 20 weeks so as far as 1111 being the most play R&B album as far as the most successful track from Chris Brown currently being residuals and then when it comes into him having so much
Starting point is 03:10:26 many different R IAA certifications when it comes to 1111 going gold, having multiple tracks going platinum as far as in the year of 2024. Like obviously these were released previously, but no guidance when 11 time platinum with you, when six time platinum under their influence, five time platinum, heat is four times platinum. The Indigo album, the entire body of work is three times platinum. Privacy is three times platinum. Party is three times platinum. Take you down.
Starting point is 03:10:55 is two times platinum and she ain't you it's two times platinum so obviously chris brown has a lot of resources to fight warner bros when it comes to this 500 million dollar lawsuit we're just going to see at the end of the day is it going to be enough to go against a huge conglomerate like a warner bros and an ample entertainment but with that being said click my link to you in my bio let me know one of my social media is what do you think about chris brown versus warner bro's discovery in this 500 million suit and who do you think is going to come out on top getting into the overview of episode 145 that of course was titled could marvel rivals take home game of the year because if you don't know marvel rivals is one of the greatest games currently in 2025 now of course the year just started
Starting point is 03:11:46 but the game came out in December is still going strong all the way in January we're going to see if they can keep that momentum and potentially end up being a candidate for game of the year at the game award show but with that being said of course we started with scissa the one and only one of the greatest artists that we've seen as far as from our rmb standpoint and of course currently she has the third most popular album um the new numbers are out the bad bunny has number one album taylor swift is number two taylor swiths behave or everybody her numbers was so close to bad bunny guess how different it was bad bunny has 203 000 units sold by 800 and So 203,000 and 862.
Starting point is 03:12:32 Guess how much Taylor Swift has? 203,700 is almost like Taylor Swift was trying to upset Bad Bunny to let the world know once more. She is the biggest gangster industry. Whenever a big dog drops, she always coincidentally drop something else. I wonder why. Anyways, besides all that, Siza currently as of January 17, 2025, has the third, most played album in the world and of course we got into why as her deluxe lena is out now in all dsps we got into a lot of things surrounding the album her future endeavors as far as with kendry
Starting point is 03:13:09 going on a stadium tour her being in a movie titled one of them days that's out now actually is out now so make sure to go watch that is one of them days uh actually let's pull this up you know i love i mean got to got to support the black queens you know what i'm saying let me make sure i pull this up right quick. All right. So, because you're already know that probably, as far as marketing perspective, it's hard to get people to watch their movie because they can't relate. That's always the go-to notion of why black movies can't sell. Oh, I can't relate to that. So it can't be a good movie. So, you know, they just are ignorant on that standpoint. But with that being said, let's look this up right quick. Okay, one of them days, the movies being well reviewed right now. I wish I could,
Starting point is 03:13:50 let's just, can I pull up writing tomatoes? Let's pull a writing tomato. Let's pull a right in tomato. Rotten Tomatoes. If I can type, give me a second. Oh, my goodness. One of them days. Rod Tomatoes is pretty respected in the movie Landscapes. I just want to show you all that. It's not just me promoting them.
Starting point is 03:14:09 It's actually a great movie. Kat Williams is in as well. So anyways, Analytic Dreams video to see the video along with the audio. But this is the movie. It's out now on all DSPs. Not all DSPs. What am I covering music? All right.
Starting point is 03:14:23 It's out now. all movie theaters. All right, there we go. So one of them days, obviously it's an hour and 37 minutes, it's R-rated, has the over-talented, Kiki Palmer, and then of course you have Siza co-star in a long waiter.
Starting point is 03:14:37 Ryan Tomatoes score of 96% and 92% on popcorn meter. Anyways, as you can tell, Rotten Tomatoes having a 96% score is insane. I mean, just look at any up to, or any of the past two-year MCU and DCU releases,
Starting point is 03:14:53 all those movies are not even getting close to a 70%. So obviously it's not superhero movie, but I'm just letting you know it's not the easiest to get a high score like 96%. So what that being said, definitely go watch that movie is out now in all movie theaters. So that being said,
Starting point is 03:15:11 she's going on a stadium tour with Kendrick Lamar. And then what else? I think it's basically it. The album, the deluxe album, I'm not going to say it was bad. I say it was more of a I think it was more of a throwaway
Starting point is 03:15:26 type of deluxe, not like throwaway as far as it being trash, just throwaway as far as it not being her best work that she's put out recently. And I think it's more of Lucy's and C cuts, like C-side. You know how you have an A and a B side?
Starting point is 03:15:42 I think it's like more of a C-side cut. But it's what you know, it's okay. It's just a deluxe. Maybe that's why they attached it to SOS. So, with that been said we got into Siza in her deluxe album with Lena and of course you know I can't
Starting point is 03:15:58 go an episode without talking about the goat of the music industry as far as the mascot of hip-hop as Drake and Aiden Ross had a Christmas giveaway and we broke that down entirely because it was pretty significant I mean 100,000 for Toronto's based artist 250,000 each
Starting point is 03:16:15 for two individuals a dream vacation for two couples trip for two to see Drake in Australia one year's rent for two people three cards for three families obviously you get it they were basically on the opra tip on that live stream it was probably one of the biggest giveaways like ever of all time and it was a live stream on the platform kick of course because that's where aden ross is that's where the steak deal is so that's also why drake is seen on kick a lot because you know that's where his business lies as far as steak and the gambling site and then transition from that into the drake of the latin music field which is
Starting point is 03:16:52 Bad Bunny, which at this point in time, I guess we could start giving him his own crown. Because at first, I was saying at the beginning of this episode, because if you don't know, this entire episode at this point, these episodes going forward take a lot of extensive research. So it's not all shot in one day. So with that being said, Drake and Bad Bunny are dominant in their region, in their respective genres, right? But Bad Bunny was outsold by Little Baby in first week sales. Now, in current day, January 17, 2025, he currently has the number one album in the world selling a whopping 203,000 copies on his, like, second or third week, right? Little Baby, 56,000 on his second week.
Starting point is 03:17:36 So it's very interesting, the discrepancy in Bad Bunny having a strong first week, but still getting outsold by Little Baby, to completely leaps and bounds out selling him in the second week. It's funny how that works. But anyways, getting into Bad Bunny, we talked about him. his album Debbie Tarar Moss Photos basically talking everything about it as far as the the blending the genre bending of regga tone and trap style so if you don't know Bad Bunny has that type of feel on his album and we got to a lot of other things as far as what he's doing in the future because he's probably going to go on tour because he teased more music for 2025 but of course there has been no like confirmation or any
Starting point is 03:18:19 new music, but basically he is possibly going on or continuing his European tour. So that's what it said to happen right now in his rumor to be a stadium tour. So anyways, we got into Bad Bunny and then we transitioned to everybody's short bus. I mean, everybody's smartest, most intelligent rapper Little Baby, as his album, Wham came out, right? When that came out, not going to lie to you, wasn't a lot of anticipation. Everybody was basically in general consensus or everybody was coming in. together to say that this man has fell off quality wise and guess what boy did he prove us wrong not just plain he proved us right so wam was unequivocally very underwhelming wasn't bad wasn't great
Starting point is 03:19:01 it was just very mediocre which is not good if you're putting out a statement album with the whole world telling you you fill up so with that being said of course the the numbers are going to number because if you don't know i really dive into detail i ain't realize how in depth QC had like as far as how much stock they have in little baby they need him to succeed think about it megos to disbanded cardi b's not putting out an album anytime soon they're trying to force her to put out an album i guess what happens every time they try to force her she gets pregnant now i ain't going to lie to you you know people could do what they want with their bodies but you know it's it's a very interesting timing that's all i'm saying so with that being said cardi migos are not putting on anything for QC they got the
Starting point is 03:19:43 they have to have some type of revenue coming in right because they was just acquired by school de brine for like um 300 million dollars or something like that right basically broke that down and it's yeah so 300 million dollars high but america um acquired a QC by scooter bronze so if you acquire them paying 300 million in 2023 you probably want your most prominent act to have good numbers because guess what if he goes down the whole ship probably goes down with them they always say that one hot artist or viral artist pays for the other 15 it's a very very rare occasion that you have multiple superstars on one label so that's why you sign so many people so if that one person pops up and it's not even a guarantee that one person will pop up a pop off so they do pop off and they're paying for
Starting point is 03:20:29 everybody else you probably want to put a lot of dollars behind him which is why he ended up coming out on top with the number one album with wham outselling bad bunny with 145 000 units first week but 32 000 physical copies let me tell you usually even the superstars don't even pass five to seven thousand physical copies. I wonder if they were trying to fudge the numbers. But anyways, you know, that's just allegedly. I ain't trying to get all my Aubrey Graham tip. I'm just letting out know how that goes.
Starting point is 03:20:58 So anyways, congratulations to little baby, objectively speaking, for having the number one album. And shout out to Hib America, aka Scooter Braun, for knowing how to funnel marketing dollars to your mascot
Starting point is 03:21:14 of your current label that you just paid 300 million for. so anyways um the wildfires yeah so la wildfires i believe i believe they're still going on to this day let me make sure um all right la wildfires let's see status so as of january 23 2025 um the status of the wildfires in Los Angeles that's still active uh the palisades fires are active the eating fires still active goodness the huge fires they're active but guess what people aren't covering as much anymore because it's not a hot topic anymore which is why i'm here you know it's which why you know you should rate this five stars you know subscribe and share this to somebody who you think would enjoy music and gaming talk but also pop culture when it um when it's uh needed as far as
Starting point is 03:22:13 because this is insane um so the fires are still going and the region is still ongoing high fire damage and the um due to like the the gusty winds and the dry conditions um there's recovery efforts you know various initiatives are in place to support those affected so this fire is still going on i mean what was the one the palisades fire i think that's the biggest one that that burned that has currently burned over 23,700 acres with the containment, meaning this is the only amount this is the percentage they have out of 100 contain. 14 is 19%. So with that being said, obviously, you know, there's not a lot of coverage because, of course,
Starting point is 03:22:59 people just don't want to be down in the dumps every single day, but it's still important to let you know that the L.E. fires are still rampant, and you could do a lot to help with the overall um um containment of these fires i think i went over you had to listen to the segment to to see the actual um resources that i i named for it because it was a lot of them i think i had a good amount i'm trying to see if i could find it this is january i know one of them was the red cross right that one helps out a lot as far as the wildfire victims here we go i think this one. All right, so we have the Red Cross and then of course we have monetary donations. No, that's not it.
Starting point is 03:23:55 I try to see if I can find that because this is pretty important. I mean, the fires are still rampant. A lot of people losing their livelihoods, stuff like that. So I'm just going to take the time to find it. That's what we're going to do right now. Okay, it's not that one. I already clicked on that one. Contact me.
Starting point is 03:24:18 I think it may be this one. Okay. I ain't gonna lie to you. It completely went away. So, I'm at to do this later. Let me see. Let's see.
Starting point is 03:24:37 Okay. So with the LA wildfires, right? Basically, the way to help, if you want to help from far away, is donating to the Red Cross, right? The Salvation Army, the World Central Kitchen,
Starting point is 03:24:51 the Los Angeles Fire Department Foundation. Right? And then, of course, you have establishments like the California Fire Foundation's Wildfire. That's the biggest one, I think, in my opinion. California Fire Foundation's Wildfire. So California Fire Foundation's Wildfire, if you actually want to help from afar. And then other things like the GoFundMe for the Wildfire Relief Fund, things like that directly helps those affected as far as the individuals for, and supports recovery efforts.
Starting point is 03:25:25 I know it's basically the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank that also helps. So yeah, those are all resources you could use to help out people who are very in need of resources, especially with the damages of this wildfire and the victims affected by it. So anyways, that was the Los Angeles wildfire situation. I had to talk about it because I just thought it was just so important in today's society to shine the light on things, especially if you have a platform like this as far as, you know, people coming in and tuning in week after week, you know, I try to give substance and that's one of the things that I felt like was very beneficial to them to try to expose more people to
Starting point is 03:26:07 it. Because a lot of people just try to tune it out. So anyways, talked about the wildfires, right, and everything and captivated in that. And then we got into CES 2025, which if you don't know, CES is the consumer electronics showcase. So why this is so important is because gaming and CES go hand in hand. As far as gaming is really indicative of the technology we have. Like there's no way to have all these technological video games without the use of CES. Because basically they showcase prototypes of future technology and then we just enhance it. Like there's a lot of artificial artificial intelligence shows.
Starting point is 03:26:51 showing off. A lot of digital health stuff showed off, sustainability, mobility. As far as vehicle tech, that's what the mobility means, being a major theme, like the announcement from Delta Airlines about AI travel assistance, you know, things like that really helps the culture go forward, especially on the gaming side, because if you don't know, a lot of PC hardware showcased like the NVIDIA was unveiled. The RTX-50 series and AMD released new RISN. AI Max chips for gaming performances. So if you don't know why I cover CES. Well, now you know, there's a lot of technological advancements that inherently improves the gaming experience. So that's why I cover it. And not going to lie, I'm like a tech nerd when it comes to this
Starting point is 03:27:37 field because I love tech in the way that it makes quality of life so much better. Like the amount of people who buy a Roomba, which is a little robot vacuum, and don't realize how smart it actually is to clean up the floor is insane saves you so much time mops sweeps but not sweeps and then you realize that oh i just save hours of not probably it's going to accumulate to days of your life taken up by a robot and simply because you're more in tune with tech anyways uh with that being said then we got to some of these we had to take off because more important stuff came out uh during the making of this episode like the nintendo switch two information came out uh tictock resurgence uh that came back up as far as uh continuation of that story so did i get into i believe i did okay
Starting point is 03:28:38 i think we got into delta force and i covered that in its entirety and yeah okay i do remember talking about this because this is like a battlefield battlefield type game it's It's a large scale, 32 v.32 type of game. And currently it's... Two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten, eleven. It's a 12 most play game on Steam. So with that being said, I believe it's only on Steam. It's currently on PC, PS5, oh, and Xbox Series X.
Starting point is 03:29:07 Okay. No, no, no. And it, oh, okay, it is. Okay, so PC, PS5, Xbox Series X, right? but it's planned for this year to have an Xbox one iOS and Android version no it's not no it's not that's my okay so that's why I messed up on my nose that's great that's fantastic I'm not cutting this out either we just don't keep this I don't have my new Delta force okay yeah but it is a battlefield like game 32 v 32 and I believe yeah it's only on PC and consoles and mobile
Starting point is 03:29:42 versions are projected to be January 25 and of course it's produced by a timmy studio group is a 12th most play game on PC platform so it's pretty popular right now it currently has 96,000 people playing the game with a 24 hour peak of 102,000 so a lot of people are obviously enjoying the game and it's free to play don't you love games that are free and also high quality the two do not correlate most times so that's probably why delta force is one of the most play games in the world right now on steam and then we got into assassin creed shadows because if you don't know with shadows ubyself is baking on this because the whole company is banking on it um but same thing ubysov whole company basically they are under a lot of pressure from tinsent and the gullmot family who owns
Starting point is 03:30:38 majority stakes and Ubisoft so either they're going to have a hostile takeover or they privatize their stocks so that it rises because right now it's the lowest since like 2013 and something like that so with that being said obviously Assassin Creek shadows being a game that Assassin Creek fans been wanting like if you didn't know they've been wanting let me see if I can find this Let me just type in Ubisoft. Ubisoft. They've been wanting an Assassin Creek game set in Japan for the longest, right? But now we've received that because of Ubisoft being so financially, not in debt,
Starting point is 03:31:24 but they've been financially struggling, including the underperformance of titles like Star Wars Outlaws, which is supposed to be a ginormous hit, right? It's the first open world Star Wars game, period. you like i don't think people understand how pivotal that is to have under your production um and under your company and they completely flop they put it out nobody played it why i don't know why i mean it didn't look like the worst game but obviously it didn't intrigue people enough to play so their shares dropped by 50% in december 2024 insane so with that the gold mob family and tinsent are definitely trying to privatize the stocks and because basically Bloomberg came out and said
Starting point is 03:32:06 it would like rise the stocks by like 20%, something like that. No, no, let me get the right number. So they said that Bloomberg reported that potential privatization of Ubisoft's stock will soar the price by over 31%. So that's why they want to privatize. Or they just do a hostile takeover, which that's more, you know, hostile. So I don't think they'll go that route. But it's definitely an option because they said it in the earnings call.
Starting point is 03:32:32 With that being said, went from Assassin Creek to Mobile Legends. Legends Bang Bang. Now, of course, with Mobile Legends, Bang, Bang, that game is currently, well, it changed. It was the most played mobile game when I was currently covering it right now. It's the second most play game on mobile platforms, which, you know, what a significant drop-off, right? So anyways, Mobile Legends Bang Bang is a 5B5 mobile where teams aim to destroy their opposing Nexus while protecting their own. Basically, this game is essentially a hero shooter. in one of the OG hero shooters that we've ever had.
Starting point is 03:33:09 And when it initially launched in 2016 in Brazil, it gained a lot of traction in Southeast Asia, reached one billion downloads by 2020. And now, you know, it's available on Android and iOS. Not only is it available. It's one of the most played mobile games currently. So a very pivotal game. A lot of people are enjoying it.
Starting point is 03:33:29 And it even got so popular to the point where now they're fighting with riot games because they said, hey, you're copying us. We have League of Legends. You can't be copying us like that. All these different mechanics. You call on this, that when we been had this mechanic. So now we're suing you. And guess what?
Starting point is 03:33:47 Rye Games actually ended up winning the first lawsuit. The second one, I think it was some sort of settlement, but we don't know what the specifics of settlement was. So, yeah, Rye Games will always have smoke for League of Legends. And I believe that is, what was League of Legends? Oh, bite dance. Wow. Bite Dance owns TikTok as well, I believe.
Starting point is 03:34:10 But anyways, they produce and they basically develop Mobile Legends Bang Bang that is currently the second most play mobile game on the platform right now. So shout out to Bite Dance and, yeah, shout out to Bite Dance for a Bideon. I'm about to make a terrible pun. Anyways, okay.
Starting point is 03:34:33 I don't know. I was looking down like that. Give me a second. Okay. um am i yeah okay so mobile ledges bang bang and then we went into i don't think we talked about that okay we definitely didn't talk about that some of these i had to take out because new news came out and it was definitely more important to talk about these so i skipped some of the ones that i was going to get into but
Starting point is 03:35:04 i did that to get into okay I don't think I talked about that. And what did I talk about now this point? Okay. Yeah, I talked about that, but I was after this one. Okay, Nintendo. I think we got into Nintendo, right? I think we got to Nintendo.
Starting point is 03:35:34 So I think Nintendo was after that. So we got into the Nintendo Switch 2, right? That announcement was a super big deal. So that ended up taking precedence over a lot of topics on this episode. as far as the gaming side of thing. So we got to the Nintendo Switch 2 reveal, which if you don't know, I didn't realize the Nintendo Switch was so popular.
Starting point is 03:35:55 Like if you look at the actual objective stats, it's the third most played console ever. Like of all time. So people really love that mobile to TV type of hybrid system as far as being able to take your handheld and then also put it on a dock and now you're playing it on a whole TV. Like it's, I guess it was very intriguing
Starting point is 03:36:18 to a lot of people as you know why ended up being a thermos play console of all time but anyways we got to the Nintendo Switch 2 reveal and basically there are larger joycons right and a new connection method additional button on the right controller and yeah a larger display that's the biggest thing two USB C ports instead of one and then a wider kickstand for an improved stability so with the Nintendo Switch to reveal it was really pivotal that we got into that because that was basically one of the more um important tip is that we've received from the gaming industry in a while because nintendo
Starting point is 03:36:59 switch being so popular obviously the two is about to fly off the shelves like hot cakes so then i don't know the actual uh order but i think we got to um i think we got to apple i think we got to apple so with apple um Apple paid out a Siri settlement, right? Because they basically don't care about your privacy, right? They're out here basically telling everybody to kick rocks as far as wanting some privacy in their own home. Right. So they got caught by basically, I guess the government, I don't know, but they had to pay out $95 million.
Starting point is 03:37:39 And the allegations that Siri recorded private conversations without user consent. And why is because they used it. They used it for marketing. and when I covered it, I basically broke it down as far as how to get your settlement, because if you own an Apple device from the September 17, 2014, to December 31st,
Starting point is 03:38:01 2024, guess what? I went through by step by step to turn into Arby Graham yourself. This is your turn to be the greatest rapper of all time, right? All you got to do is watch that segment, follow the step-by-step guys that I gave, and you will have officially turned into a blue
Starting point is 03:38:19 collared snitch because let me tell you there's up to five devices that you can get $20 for us so it's not a lot but you can pull out a maximum of $100 just by submitting your claim and i went by the different tip bits of how to do that so after that i talked about apple and then and then i believe you i believe we went from apple to ticot like i said we covered a lot in this episode i don't like to you we cover a lot That's why you should definitely, you know, write this five stars, you know, shared this to somebody who'd think we'd enjoy gaming and music talk, right? So we went from Apple to TikTok. Why is it showing Insomnia? We're going to come back to Insomnia.
Starting point is 03:39:03 I think we went from Apple to TikTok. So anyways, TikTok is back, y'all. Like, Trump took all the credit for it. I think it was already in the works because essentially I think the U.S. is bluffing about wanting to ban TikTok. I think they just simply want the algorithm so they can put it on their own apps. Like, hey, you give us your most important. important asset we're going to put it on our US apps and guess well you can go about your day but TikTok is not playing ball so now they basically was like hey we don't need to give you any type of
Starting point is 03:39:30 algorithm we're just going to end our US operations so there was you know it was okay with ending the operations in US over 170 million US users but guess what they was ready to just shut it all down on this area so apparently President Trump signed in executive action delaying the TikTok ban for 75 days on his first day in office as the 47th president. So that's objectively what happened or what they're saying is what happened. So he proposed a 50-50 joint venture between bite dance and American buyer as a possible resolution, but did not reveal whether it was satisfied Congress because guess what? The ban is still on. He only delayed it for 75 days.
Starting point is 03:40:20 I think the U.S. is bluffing, but obviously, bite dance is calling the U.S. is bluff. So we're just going to be in this pony, what is, rat in pony, whatever that phrase is as far as the chase and the never ending. Let's just say hamster wheel. We'll, we're going to be on this hamster wheel for a while until the U.S. realizes that Bight Dance is not going to, they're not going to fold. They're just going to stand ten toes down. They're going to be like, if y'all want to ban us, then ban us. but we're not giving you our algorithm. That's the most important tool for any independent business today.
Starting point is 03:40:54 I ain't allowed to you. If you're not promoting on TikTok, once again, you are very behind. If you're not promoting on TikTok as a small business, you are very behind. So anyways, what else? Then we got to Marvel. Yeah, Insomniac. I ain't a lot to you. I never thought you can mess up an IP this bad.
Starting point is 03:41:13 But I guess since they gave us Marvel Spider-Man 1, which was unequivocally a classic and maybe one of the best Spider-Man games of all time, that if you follow it out with a complete, underwhelming body, well, a complete underwhelming project, which is Marvel Spider-Man's 2, I guess we'll let that slide as they was working with way more
Starting point is 03:41:31 and Marvel Spider-Man 2. I mean, you have Peter, you have Miles, you have venom, you have Craven, but somehow Marvel Spider-Man 1 with just Peter and Dr. Octopus, I mean, goodness,
Starting point is 03:41:42 I mean, well, it's not, it's not octopus. Why did I say that? I think it's just Doc Ock. My fault. I swear I'm a Spider-Man's damn. Anyways, with Doc Ock and Peter,
Starting point is 03:41:54 how did they end up with a better story, a classic story told than having Venom, Miles, and Peter, all in one story? Like, I just don't understand how you work with so much and still come out with something so lackluster. I think what it was, is they was looking at that profit margin. They was like, you know what,
Starting point is 03:42:11 we can't spend too much on giving out quality for, as far as the cost point. They looked at the cost point. They was like, hey, but every $70, we're only going to give this amount of content as far as hours.
Starting point is 03:42:27 I really think that's what their line or their mental roller decks was consumed with because it makes no sense how you have so much characters, iconic characters, and you only come out
Starting point is 03:42:40 with a 20-hour story. It makes no sense. I don't care what nobody says about people not want to play the longest games and stuff like that. GTA um
Starting point is 03:42:50 the last of us there's a lot of there's a lot of um games out there that people will just put a lot of a ton of hours into if it's fun and my and Spider-Man just have way too many characters for it to be that short
Starting point is 03:43:08 very underwhelming there's no DLC plan and I got into how insomniac versus his fans because of the whole leaked as far as the hack a very unprecedented hack as far as you know the fans leak and everything and basically insomnia are coming out and telling us like, hey, guess what? Y'all leaked all our future plans up to 2030. Well, guess what?
Starting point is 03:43:27 No DOC plans for you for Spider-Man 2, which I think they're bluffing. I think they want to coincide with Spider-Man beyond the Spider-Verse. And because if you don't know, in the leaks, it basically said that they was going to have a crossover. So when Spider-Man Beyond the Spider-Verse. Spider-verse came out, it was going to be a crossover for Marvel Spider-Man 2. The whole world was going to be changed into what the animation movie looks like, right?
Starting point is 03:43:56 Sounds fire, don't it? Because it is. It was going to be the third D.O.C. put out for Marvel Spider-Man, and it was going to be a complete crossover of Spider-Man Beyond the Spider-Verse and Marvel Spider-Man. But guess what? The delay of, why didn't I give me the release date? I don't like when I type stuff in. Don't give me the release date. What is the release date? I don't care about nothing else. okay uh was that it marvel's beyond the spider man uh okay marvels beyond the spider verse does not have a release date all right that's fantastic it's rumored to come out uh 2026 goodness so basically it's not coming out anytime soon so i think them saying there's no d oc plans for marvel spiderman two is because of this movie again delayed because what the elite plans were was the first d oc was
Starting point is 03:44:46 going to be beetle infestation, right? Second D.O.C. was going to be the continuation of the Carnage story. It was going to get a conclusion to that story that was built up in the base story, right? And then third DLC was going to be a crossover to Spider-Verse, and the whole entire world was going to be changed to the aesthetic of that movie. Sounds fire. But guess what? If the movie gets pushed back, now you can't have a cross-collaborative effort because it doesn't
Starting point is 03:45:11 exist yet. So you don't want to spoil anything. And I think that's why they pushed it back. I think we will get DOC, but I think it's just going to have to coincide with the release of Spider-Man beyond the Spider-Verse. But it doesn't have a release date to 2026. I don't think Insomnia wants to wait that long. I think they messed up all their plans by trying to have their cross-collaborative effort. Obviously, they could put out Beed on Carnage and come up with something else in the midst of that, you know, in the midst of the two-year, three-year span.
Starting point is 03:45:37 Because it's not going to come out 2026. I've heard 2027. I've heard 28. I've heard actors haven't recorded their lines yet. beyond the spotterverse is not happening anytime soon. So I think they just need to change the third DOC if that's really what they were trying to do. Don't let another movie mess up your entire DLC roll out.
Starting point is 03:45:57 But also coincide with the hacks. They probably like forget y'all. Like y'all want to hack all our plans up to 2030. Guess what? No more of what you want. All this hack content, guess what? Now we're just not going to give it to you. So we're going to see how that works out for.
Starting point is 03:46:11 With that being said, finishing up with Insomnia Act versus the fans, Oh, and the developer, because the developer for Wolverine Left, like the creative director for Wolverine Left to lead Xbox's perfect dark reboot. So also the fighting the developer. It's just, it's a lot going on in Somnick right now. It's not looking too good. But that being said, then we went into Marshall Law.
Starting point is 03:46:35 That was one of my topics that was going to get into last episode, didn't get a chance to, but I did for this episode, which I was very glad I was able to get into it because I love the K-pop community. Like I keep saying, that was one of the biggest shoutouts and more pivotal moments of my career when I was shouted out by a K-pop stand account. And they basically put out a clip of my podcast and a link. Like, you know, how much cohesion has to go with that as far as, you know, a fan actually shouting you out, recording a snippet, putting a link, and it blew up and went viral on Twitter. And that was one of the few times I've ever got shouted out by, I guess, fans or whatever. And it went crazy.
Starting point is 03:47:12 So, you know, since it was from the K-pop community, guess what? I'm always remember that. So I wanted to cover K-pop in this sense as far as martial law being declared, but not only was it declared, it was overturned within hours because guess what? They don't know why the president did that. And basically he became the first sitting president ever to be detained. And who I'm talking about is the president, Yun-Suk-Yil. I don't know how to say this.
Starting point is 03:47:40 So we're just going to. let me see jarvis is about to pronounce this for us so give me a second president yun suk yolde all right y'all get it so president yon suk yole so first sitting president ever to get detained and charged with with rebellion and facing potential life imprisonment i don't know why he declared martial law if he was going to go through all this i ain't a lot to you i just it's above me man i don't know why he did all that because it's it impacted k-pop a lot of events that was set to generate billions for Korea was just straight up, just taken away, right? Exact losses for cancellations remain unquantified because, of course, when martial law happens, you have to stop all things as far as production. And now a lot of artists suffer because of it, a lot of events suffered because of it. And there's a lot of political implications, which just is not a political podcast. But of course, the impact that it had on K-pop as the simple.
Starting point is 03:48:41 for South Korea right now and especially a major part of the culture which is stopped by martial law. So that's why, you know, potential life imprisonment. That's how they're feeling about the martial law declaration. So I wanted to get all into that. And I think I did a pretty good job covering that. And of course, last but not least, I am tripping. The main title of this episode almost left out. My fault.
Starting point is 03:49:07 I don't know why it's so low on this list. Anyways, okay. So, I think it was after Mobile Legends, I talked about Marvel Rivals. Now, of course, you have to forgive me. I totally, it was at the, I don't know why is at the bottom of my notes. Anyways, we talked about that in the middle of the episode, of course, in the gaming segment. And Marvel Rivals, well, I tell you, that game is straight addicting. That is one of the greatest games I've ever played.
Starting point is 03:49:36 I'm not even being facetious. I think that's like I said. when I say this because a lot of games can't even hold a candle to Marvel rivals. I know they're saying oh it's not even that good. You only like it because it's Marvel characters. So what? That's like being like, oh, we only like the DCU
Starting point is 03:49:53 because it has Batman and Superman. Type of playing that y'all on. Yes, we only like DCU because it has Superman Batman. You think that if Superman Batman was in Marvel and DCU only had Aquaman running around that we would still watch the DCU? Of course not. So anyways, Marvel rivals having Spider-Man Venom
Starting point is 03:50:13 Iron Man, Captain America, and Overwatch having Tracer and whoever else they have, no disrespect to my Overwatch community. I'm ignorant when it comes to Overwatch. But let me just say Marvel characters are immensely popular. Overwatch characters just got here. And Marvel rivals are still quality-wise, an incomparable game to Overwatch. To the point where, yes, now we're going to say it's much better. Now that we have a comparable game with characters we actually have loved for decades,
Starting point is 03:50:42 Yeah, Marvel Rivals is one of the greatest hero shooters of all time. Now what? It may be the best. That's how far we're about to go with it. Because they're talking about, oh, you only like it's because it's Marvel. Like, of course. Like, yes, step your IP up. I'm sorry.
Starting point is 03:50:58 Brand recognition is a real thing. Anyways, Marvel Rivals, as of now, has generated $136 million. Oh, no, no, not as of now. It generated $136 million in his first month. So when I put this on the screen right here, as far as is Marvel rivals a candidate for game of the year or could Marvel rivals take home game of the year? It's not hyperbole.
Starting point is 03:51:28 This is one of the more successful games out of the gate that we've seen in a while, right? And currently, as of today, fourth most played game, fourth most played game on Steam with 240,000 players currently playing the game with a 24-hour peak of 429,000 that is insane and then you have Marvel Rivals
Starting point is 03:51:54 completely being gone from the Xbox list which that is insane we're going to get to that in a second and then Marvel Rivals is the fifth actually no I think it's six ones sometimes they'll be putting bundles but he has the sixth most played game on the PlayStation platform. And the reason why it's completely missing from Xbox, I don't know what it is about Xbox.
Starting point is 03:52:15 Maybe this is the lack of care that they have for Marvel rivals, but I don't know. Like, they just do not care about the game at all. Like, if you look at the estimated first month dollars, as far as 136 million, PC had 54 million, right? PlayStation had 27 million. Xbox had a whopping two million.
Starting point is 03:52:37 Like, are y'all broke? Somebody really has to have a real discussion on Xbox players. Like, why y'all not playing a free-to-play game? Am I tripping? I mean, I know it's not everybody's cup of tea, but it's only so many days you can play with 2K, Madden, and Fortnite. It's only so many days. You know what I mean?
Starting point is 03:52:56 Like, you don't ever get tired? You don't want to try anything else? It's free to play. Anyways, two million generated from Xbox. And, of course, the China net E servers was 36 million. So it's expected to reach 1.000. 1.3 billion in annual revenue if this momentum continues. So that is why, going back to the episode title,
Starting point is 03:53:19 could Marvel rivals take home game but a year? I guess we're going to find out in, well, like 11 months, because the year is still very early. But it definitely falls in line as far as the eligibility period of the game awards for 2025. So anyways, then we got into okay now we got to the last topic of the episode which is the most talented human I've ever seen on planet earth which is of course Chris Breezy aka Chris Brown as his 500 million dollar lawsuit against Warner Bros for the defamatory
Starting point is 03:54:04 documentary titled Chris Brown a history of violence that debuted in October 24 under Warner Bros. Investigation Discovery Channel, right? Insane. A huge conglomerate put out this type of documentary. And apparently, Chris Brown and his team is saying they have false tidbits and they're putting it in the light of truth
Starting point is 03:54:28 as far as Chris Brown's history of violence. So now, because of the defamatory nature of the documentary, he's suing for 500 million and he says like a portion of it is going to be for survivors of sexual abuse so what that you know i talked about a lot when it came to his entire history with riana and then the overall time that he served as far as because of the because of the conviction of him assaulting riana right but there's a lot of things in the documentary that they are saying is just complete false a completely false and that they're putting
Starting point is 03:55:07 it in the light of truth as far as his entire history of his run-ins with the law so that's why they're suing for 500 million will they win i'm not going to lie to you you go against a conglomerate a huge conglomerate like warner bros it's going to be a long day in history as far it's going to be a long trial as far as you coming out on top and hopefully we'll see uh justice served and that's all i can say because prayers and condolences for anybody that ever tries to go up against a huge conglomerate and the justice system because that is why people with resources like chris brown and drake even though we do joke about drake as far as being a blue collar snitch and you know the hip-hop Karen he's still taking um ginormous a mammoth of a battle even suing the likes of UMG
Starting point is 03:56:00 and the same goes with chris brown and this is going to be unprecedented because they are about to I don't even want to predict anything. I think I know how it's going to go, but let me not be a pessimist, right? I hope Drake and Chris Brown comes out on top. Let me just put it like that, right? I hope their careers aren't forever affected by them going at these huge conglomers that can make a lot of things disappear legally. Whether it's illegal or not, they say what it is.
Starting point is 03:56:29 It's just a sad day in history when, you know, you come to that realization. But, you know, I do hope. amen. I hope God bless them. I ain't a lot to you. God bless them because it's going to be interesting to see what happens to Chris Brown and Drake's career in the next two to three years. So anyways, that's about it for
