Starting point is 00:00:28 What's going on on internet? Analytic here, aka Dreams, and I like to welcome you to mine, which I call the notorious Mass Effect podcast. I'm your gaming and music news source diving deep into both industries with data-driven analysis to give you a clearer understanding on both cultures. Now, with that being said, of course, this specific episode is titled, well, before the title, It's numbered 146, but the title is of course, let me change the camera right quick. The title is, of course, is full body VR the future of gaming?
Starting point is 00:01:12 Now, ladies and gentlemen, the reason why I titled the episode the way I titled it, especially for episode 146, is because of the very first analytic dreams vlog has been uploaded at the end of this episode. Now I know what you're thinking. Why in the world would you have your first vlog ever and upload it and attach it to the end of your episode? Well, I'm glad you asked. If you go to Analytic Dreams TV on YouTube, there's a specific portion of the vlog that I put out to celebrate 9 million total downloads.
Starting point is 00:01:55 Ladies and gentlemen, I'm not going to lie to you. As far as the engagement. week after week we have had over 180 000 weekly downloads and now we are on we're officially on the road to 10 million total downloads for the podcast and that is why i put it at the end of this episode because i wanted to have it attached to the episode but also with this being more of a celebratory episode analytic dreams video on spot to see the video along with the audio you will be able to see the stats i just put up as far as as as soon as i passed nine million took a screenshot made sure to capture the moment because of course every w as far as engagement
Starting point is 00:02:43 from from supporters is immensely appreciated to the point where i want to point out milestones at every turn because this is not possible without the masses all of this that happens as far as the specific content that comes out as far as music and gaming make sure to follow my patreon in my link tree and my bio to be able to suggest topics you want me to cover and of course i will listen as if you subscribe to my patreon then i am obliged to listen to whatever you want me to cover and guess what it's going to get covered because i don't know if y'all know but we've been going crazy not only analytically as you can see right here 185 000 2007000 76 to be specific weekly downloads now obviously it fluctuates to go up and down but for the
Starting point is 00:03:33 most part that's usually where the weekly downloads is around so with that out the way i just want to let you all know that i'm immensely grateful for y'all who support the podcast and that is why my first vlog ever exists because i want to put money back into the product and give you an enhanced viewing experience because if i don't make content that you engage in or you find you interesting then obviously I'm not doing my job right and as far as the analytics it seems like y'all are enjoying the content now putting out on a weekly basis so that would that being said the first vlog is officially out but it's attached to the end of this episode I'm not telling you the top stamp
Starting point is 00:04:13 because obviously you can skip through and see where it's at but for the most part it's going to be attached to the entire episode now speaking of episode more specifically 146 is titled is full body VR the future of gaming let me get back to that so there's a sandbox VR portion on analytic dreams video oh that's that's me hold up that's me um so if you go to this right here as far as analytic dreams video uh analytic dreams tv on youtube you will be able to see that i uploaded a portion of my first ever vlog and it was for sandbox vr so as you can see right here it has 200 uh it has 2.4,000 views and of course
Starting point is 00:04:59 people were wondering certain things about the vlog. Somebody said I like how they gave you all highlights after that's dope talking about the sandbox place we went to of course. Somebody said wait so what happened when y'all both went down which you don't know if you don't know if you don't watch the vlog you don't understand what she's talking about basically she's talking about how there's certain clips that they gave you at the end of your session and basically Basically, from the highlights, you can see one, I don't even know how it's a highlight, but from one of the clips, it was basically that was both going down.
Starting point is 00:05:33 So she was asking about that. And basically, they just restart the game. So I say right here, a second goes by and then we're both revived. So a little short analytic interactions because we're going to get back to that segment in the second. I did not forget about that segment, which people seem to enjoy it. So we're going to get back to that. And then obviously the one and only, the goat, the man who are I, collect. with for my first ever vlog, little Ushi himself, comments in the comment section,
Starting point is 00:05:59 put W to exclamation points. And of course, I had a response saying, yes, sir, because we went crazy. I ain't know that vlog. Had a lot of content shot in it. And when it comes to overall quality level, I think for my first vlog ever, so you have to give me some grace, you know what I mean? But for my first vlog ever, I think I nailed the experience of gaming with a friend in real life.
Starting point is 00:06:24 and on the video game. Because obviously we went to our arcade, went to Sandbox VR, and then we went and played 2K. So a lot was packed into that vlog. The full vlog would probably be uploaded by itself next week because I want to splice up the content for the most part because I do cover a lot of different topics.
Starting point is 00:06:45 I want to stay up to date, so I won't put the episode and the vlog by itself out in the same week because they're both immensely long, as you will probably tell by the runtime of this episode. So, with that being said, we have to get into a plethora of topics. And by a plethora, I basically mean a plethora because we're getting on the music industry side. We're getting into Kendrick, Weekend, Kanye, and Drake. On the gaming side of things, we're going to get into Batman, phasmodophobia, cookie run kingdom, kingdom come, deliverance to,
Starting point is 00:07:19 Sinmire, civilization, Poppy Playtime, Donkey Kong, Returns, HD. we are getting into games, ladies and gentlemen, because guess what? That's what this podcast is all about, music and games. But, of course, we focus on analytic driven data. So with that being said, we're going to get into some industry talk as far as Disney CEO, Bob Iger, receiving a pay increase, not a cut, a pay increase. But guess what that came after? That came after Disney laying off at least 7,000 employees. So how did the CEO get a raise when they laid off 7,000 employees?
Starting point is 00:07:56 The world may never know. So with that being said, then we're also going to get into the Marvel rivals layoffs. How does NetE's have one of the most popular games in the world and lay off an entire team under them? We're going to get into that as well as far as industry news. And then, of course, we're going to get into Jay-Z and his lawsuit with not the lawsuit that just got dismissed because obviously, was just lying or they wouldn't have dismissed it, which I guess in general, that's gray area because not all, but yeah, yeah, I get what I'm saying. Basically, his last case when she, uh, she was accusing him of forcing himself upon her,
Starting point is 00:08:36 that case was dismissed with prejudice or something like that, meaning they can't file it again. So with that being said, um, there's another lawsuit I'm talking about in this episode, which is basically a lawsuit targeting Block Inc, which if you don't know is one of the main contributors to Cash App, right? So that's why it's such a big deal. Jay Z's name is attached to it, which is why I'm covering it. So getting into a lot of industry talk, a lot of gaming and music news. And of course, that is all because of notorious mass effect and the supporters who enjoy
Starting point is 00:09:08 both topics and want to dive into both industries. So as far as a little life update before we get into analytic interactions and what's affecting the masses currently on gaming and music, I want to let y'all know that February, of course, is Black History Month. but of course it was also my birthday. So with that being said, Black History Month had a wait at least one day because it's February 1st as far as my birthday.
Starting point is 00:09:29 So Black History had a month, had a weight because technically I'm black. And I have history. And it's a month. You know what I'm saying? So as far as my birthday, it was phenomenal. Celebrated with the fam. Of course, they came down, hung out with them.
Starting point is 00:09:44 And it's always great just to have family time. It's a great reset as far as the job that I do, as far as covering gaming and music, to just hang out with family and just relax right that's one of the more undervalued things in life by majority of people i think as far as not finding family time in the midst of work so glad i was able to do that and for the most part that's the biggest update for me in the month of february a lot's been happening behind the scenes let's just say a lot of people are uh what's the word a lot of people are auctioning for your boy's services let's just put it like that so i do have a
Starting point is 00:10:21 a fiber link in my link tree in my bio all the way at the bottom click that link and you could formally and officially send a request for me to either give a consultation or to help you out with when it comes to content when it comes to the editing side of things I can edit and things in that nature whatever you want
Starting point is 00:10:42 but obviously there's a price tag if you subscribe to my Patreon and may or may not be a discount in the midst of the Patreon subscription But you know, with that being said, that's why I would say subscribe to my Patreon, because people who have already received consultation from me through my Patreon, they already know how it's laid out as far as on there and on fiber. It's a very big difference as far as price.
Starting point is 00:11:06 And that's for a reason, because I want my supporters to have more of an incentive to request my services. Now, of course, not only are up-and-coming content creators wanting help, but conglomerants are reaching out in very interesting ways I might add yeah I might add as far as my catalog so my catalog that's also uh in the midst of being negotiated for um I don't even think I could say that part yeah I can't say that I mean give you out too much because you don't even know the names and things of that nature
Starting point is 00:11:39 but let's just say they're auctioned for your boys so right now as far as the independent wave um we're gonna see if the dollars make sense and we may have to of partnering with a certain group but for right now we're obviously independent so with that being said let's get back into the episode 146 well no actually before we get back into the episode 146 or before we start we have to get into analytic interactions ladies and gentlemen i want you to go to analytic dreams video or actually analytic underscore dreams on instagram to follow my instagram account We currently have 23,000 followers. I appreciate everybody who follows me on my Instagram.
Starting point is 00:12:24 But basically, as far as analytic interactions, if you don't know about the newly found segment and, you know, people seem to enjoy it. So I'm going to keep doing it. Basically, I get into videos in the comment section and I basically let y'all see some of the interactions I had with supporters or not. I mean, I guess hate or love is all support at the end of day because it all runs up the algorithm.
Starting point is 00:12:46 So with that being said, I'm getting into a lot of different analytic interactions because at the end of the day we're just covering gaming and music. None of this is that serious. So I just want to get back into the community and showcase that on a podcast. Once again, Analytic Dreams video on Spotify to see the video along with the audio. But with that being said, let's get into the first video, which is basically Drake's surprise an album success. Now, as far as this particular segment, I was basically talking about how I was surprised when it came to Drake and party next day. doors first week sales which that is also in the midst of this episode as far as um the specific segment of me talking about them their sales and their first well drake's 14th
Starting point is 00:13:29 number one album as far as tying uh taylor swift and j z a very huge accomplishment but with that being said uh let's get into this comment section because as y'all already see right now the the hate and love i ain't a lot people be showing love people be showing hate at the end of day both of them boost the algorithm so let's get into the comment section right here as far as on analytic underscore dreams Instagram account and of course my caption is Drake tops the tops the charts again with his 14th number one album selling 246 000 records first week Drake as far as sales wise and projections he ends up proving me wrong I'm out here thinking that because he turned into hip-hop Karen aka a blue-collar snitch that all right so I'm not
Starting point is 00:14:14 going to play the whole thing because obviously I can reiterate what I do. just say so as far as calling drake hip hop karen blue collar snitch those sentiments still stand but as far as me being wrong i thought this was going to be his worst first week sales and him and then entire and his entire career but he ended up selling 246 000 which was technically top three top five lowest but wasn't the worst so technically i was not correct in my assumption that it would be his worst first week sales ever and the reason i said that is because he's currently suing UMG. He's at odds with Spotify,
Starting point is 00:14:49 which is why if you look at certain Spotify charts, and you look at iTunes charts, they're completely different. And I wonder why. So anyways, I was surprised by that. People hopped in the comments section after, well,
Starting point is 00:15:00 I don't even know if they watched the clip. Some of them did, some of them didn't. But they hopped in the comment section and basically said, uh, uh, FRI.
Starting point is 00:15:07 dot D said, no label push. Just posting on your social media promo and still did numbers. It's going to make them going to want to put a hit out on the guy he should have said the boy but anyways he's literally showing him he's the machine so i think showing them i think that's what he's trying to say um and then of course somebody replied and basically said so past streams are fake kendrick did it with his own label okay i don't get the point he's trying to make but uh i don't know if they know that pg lang is one
Starting point is 00:15:40 the top tier marketing teams right now as far as the music but i don't know i guess somebody didn't tell this brother so anyways Somebody else said also music has a huge vacuum now. Nobody is putting out music. And that's what I said. Well, I responded. Did I respond to this one? I guess I didn't respond to this one.
Starting point is 00:15:56 I thought I did. Somebody said UMG radio and streaming services barely supported and he still did good. But I'm really surprised is how TF is a PG podcast. So I'm going to let you put two and two together as far as what that mean. Did the weekend only sell a little over 100,000 without the bundles? he's a superstar and the album was pretty good so guess what the replies was going crazy it said anything less than 300k is a flop y'all said kairn broughed kickerick flop with mr morrowe big stepers when he sold 295 that wow so i thought i responded as well why is my response
Starting point is 00:16:31 not showing up i guess i didn't let me get the one i responded to her i thought i did respond to one of these umg i definitely responded this yeah okay so somebody said umg still needs to make money off drake two laughing emojis I responded and said basically, basically agreeing, right? I said, basically, you can tell a huge difference and there's a huge difference. And the Spotify and album music charts, though, which is funny when you think about why Drake is suing the UMG, which is what I just said earlier at the beginning of this episode. So as you can see people in the comments section, going crazy as far as how to engage in somebody's content and help it boost up the algorithm. they are doing a phenomenal job whether it's hate or love so i i enjoy all of it so that means said
Starting point is 00:17:20 this back and forth i think was the funniest somebody said imagine calling someone a snitch pursuing where nobody goes to jail at the end of the day y'all try so hard it's embarrassing for real i guess what i had to respond of course you know i came back and basically said about i said i know i responded this one okay yeah i came back and said hip hop has established rules period that man poignant ain't he even even Even if it doesn't make sense, morally, I have to point out that suing UMG for defamation, after losing a rap battle, doesn't look well optically. And then guess what he said?
Starting point is 00:17:58 At analytic dreams, I don't agree. And at that point, I was perplexed. So I was like, should I just continue the argument? The argument? Like, I mean, we can agree to disagree. So I just left it alone. And other people hopped in the comment section. They said, imagine starting a beef with a rapper you know you can't F with.
Starting point is 00:18:14 Goodness. And then acting like the victim. and dropping an album full of trash talking about give me a hug so lame obviously he put the f word for lame but you know um i am you know this a pg podcast so i'm just either obviously exiting from the uh the provocative words or i'm replacing them so anyways uh nick came back and said imagine getting no women so you don't understand that it's not a trash album now i ain't gonna lie at that point i was like bro why did you come back with that i love seeing people seeing people go back and forth from my comment section because at the end of the day it's all
Starting point is 00:18:49 just music and gaming and discussions this is just to spark conversations obviously i believe them the sentiments that i get uh that i clip but the main thing is starting the conversation so this man saying imagine getting no women so you don't understand that it's not a trash album ladies and gentlemen but then you know what i'm saying i was like damn look at the state of hip-hop like what's going on y'all let me know what type of sense did that make like at the end of the day oh i'm my that's my job my fault at the end of the day even with drake and his entire career he's always been very um consistent at get at giving solid rmb anthems for the women so when it comes to an a completely r&B body of work that is phenomenal i might add like even when time passes
Starting point is 00:19:43 by i look back at my first impressions and i feel the same exact way if not even better like a lot of the track off of that album is phenomenal. So that's what's the point. So getting into like actually saying you get no women because you think some sexy songs for you is a great album is beyond hilarious because it's an R&B album and people just are just talking for no reason. So which is ironic because I'm a podcast, right? So with him talking with no substance whatsoever, obviously I didn't want to jump into
Starting point is 00:20:13 their back and forth. So I let them, I'll let them hash it out. And basically he came back and said, People that listen to Drake don't get women. They cry about their exes outside their houses. So they're basically agreeing with one another. They say if you like Drake, you get no women. Which is crazy.
Starting point is 00:20:34 Because, let me chill. So anyways, as far as this specific account, imagine all hip hop suing their label while making trash music. Now, of course, there was dog piling Drake right here, but that's what the clip is for. It's just to start the conversation. You don't have to agree with me.
Starting point is 00:20:52 As far as spreading blatantly false information, like somebody came in there, he was basically like, Drake is independent. This is a W move for independent artists. And I basically had to come in like, hey, my brother, we can't be spreading false information. Drake is still to this day signed to UMG just like he was in 2009. If you don't believe me, go to any DSP, go to the bottom, you're going to see UMG. And basically, he came back. He deleted his whole comment section.
Starting point is 00:21:17 So, I mean, he deleted his whole comment. That's why you don't see it right here. but basically he came back and said uh no drake drake released it under ovo which is uh well yeah he was basically like drake released it under over under ovo so you're wrong and i basically just came back i was like hey man i don't know if you check but ovio is under UMG so technically the album came out under UMG because if you're under somebody that inherently means that they have certain control over royalties and masters, right? So as far as the distribution deal under UMG,
Starting point is 00:21:52 that means you release the album under UMG. And guess what? I guess my retort was so solid that he ended up just completely deleting his comments because he probably realized he was objectively speaking. He was completely wrong. If you look at it right now,
Starting point is 00:22:07 OVO under exclusive license to Republic Records or division of UMG recordings, ladies and gentlemen, when I say I do this for a living, this is not. not to brag this is actual facts sometimes you get into conversations people just blatantly lying once they understand that you have facts where sources and proof to back it up they switch the topic so instead of him switching the topic he just completely deleted all his comments which you know it also deleted my comments that was commented with so um but not my comments
Starting point is 00:22:36 it deleted the ones that replied my replies to him so which is you know it's not big deal i was just pointing out so uh yeah he completely lost that debate but you know a lot of people lose the base against me you know what i'm saying so anyways uh with that being said let's go into analytic dreams tv on youtube now ladies and gentlemen i already showed you the sandbox vr portion of my full entire vlog so i'm not going to go through that entirely but all i'm gonna say is definitely check this out i'm gonna let you watch the the trailer video right here analytic dreams video on spotify to see the video along with the audio oh no in that part right here i ain't a lot this part was the scariest because that first map they really did a phenomenal job at
Starting point is 00:23:35 setting the scene and with their being VR and you're literally in that world it's a little spooky ain't a lot to you like if I ain't had my homie I had to be like hold up timeout I'm gonna need somebody to play this with me right so so glad you know me I had a extra play with me shout to little uchi make sure to go follow him on a Twitch you know Instagram you TikTok things that nature but yeah so this is actually I think I have this link tree up here right quick because you know I'll be plugging my people though actually it's a snippet so it's it's not it's not It's at the beginning and the end of the vlog, so it's not in this snippet.
Starting point is 00:24:07 My fault, dang. I lied. But I do have his, I think I have his link in my description, right? I think so. Oh, I do, but why is there no link? Why is the link not working? Oh, my goodness.
Starting point is 00:24:19 I swear sometimes. Sometimes I just impress myself for how old I am. I think links on, I don't know why the links not working. What in the world? What is that? That's crazy.
Starting point is 00:24:33 Okay, anyways, I'm not to fix that. But with that being said, let's get back to analytic interactions and basically when my beat go did the beat go off all right now just playing all right so uh let's get into donkey con returns HD also let me go back make sure to follow analytic dreams TV on youtube shameless plug once more so basically i'm talking about donkey con basically being the most popular video game on nintendo currently which is a monumental accomplishment especially when you realize that mario is consistently 96 97 michael droidon
Starting point is 00:25:06 for the Nintendo platform. No matter what year that Mario came out as far as in the past, he is still dominating to this day to the point where he's the mascot and the flagship character
Starting point is 00:25:17 for Nintendo. But somehow, Donkey Kong Country HD came out and basically took the throne and dethroned Mario's game. Actually, let me look at the charge right quick.
Starting point is 00:25:30 I'm trying to get the specific Mario game. Donkey Kong returns country HD dethroned Supermon. Mario Party jamboree. So very interesting, if I might add. So somebody hopped in a comment section, of course, because I'm just talking about how, you know,
Starting point is 00:25:44 Donkey Kong is surprisingly the top, the most sole game on Nintendo platform currently. And this man just blatantly, what knows, he just simply said, looks boring. And I love the one light, because people like their comments, like, I don't understand what's the thinking process behind that. But anyways, he says, looks boring, right?
Starting point is 00:26:02 I come in, I'm like, Nintendo is known for its platforms. but of course each one is a required taste and he basically came back and responded with still looks boring doesn't matter well no no my fault Dallas came back and responded basically saying it still looks boring doesn't matter the taste so basically I responded I was like no that's subjective there's a reason this game is the top selling game on switch currently somebody likes the way it looks and of course I think he came around to his senses and realized I wasn't just trying to troll him I was just trying to inform him that somebody out there likes this game or it wouldn't be the top selling game on nintendo right so anyways this man responded said maybe well he said maybe but why don't
Starting point is 00:26:47 they put this much work into a new game with new characters and story instead of recycled material now dallas has a phenomenal point and i love when people come with just simplistic comments they end up evolving into thinking deeper and adding more substance into the comment section because that's what this is about, just back and forth talking about games. So I love this comment because, you know,
Starting point is 00:27:10 he basically was realized and I wasn't trying to troll him. I was actually like, hey, somebody actually does like this game. I'm not saying you're, I'm not saying you have to like it, but he was trying to say like,
Starting point is 00:27:18 it just looked flat out boring to anybody. And so that was just not the case. So I basically agree with his last sentiment as far as Nintendo needing to put out new games with new characters instead of recycle material. And I basically responded to say,
Starting point is 00:27:32 I wish they would focus more on other already establish brands under Nintendo so we basically agree with that so with that being said that's the end of analytic interactions as you can tell you should definitely follow my social media social media is in my link tree or just type in analytic dreams on whatever I'm not gonna say whatever social media you use but as far as Instagram Twitter X or X formerly known as Twitter stuff like that TikTok even Twitch kick I have all my streaming links also up I do stream and I
Starting point is 00:28:05 about streaming that's more of the newfound lane of me as far as trying to get out there as far as accessibility so when it comes to streaming basically i think i realize Monday through Wednesday i don't know if that's the best schedule for me i think for the most part i'm just going to commit to three streams a week because i don't know if y'all know but i'm a podcaster who streams i'm not a streamer i record content on the daily trying to keep y'all up to day on gaming and music news when it comes to streaming i think I think I'm going to try to commit to three times a week. It just won't be back to back to back. I'm going to see if that schedule works out better because I realized I was like editing 24
Starting point is 00:28:41 7 to the point where every time I wake up to the point I go to sleep, there's always something to do. As far as editing, it takes a lot of time. So I think that'll give me the break I need to fully work on the editing behind the scenes and then get back to like streaming the next day, right? So I think I'm going to stick to three streams a week. Now I ain't going to lie to you. We're going to see how that goes, but I think it's going to go well.
Starting point is 00:29:03 So with that being said, that is the new proposed streaming. That's the new proposed streaming schedule. Obviously, it's not time. You know, I stream what I want. I just think that maybe three days out of the week for the moment. That's what we're going to try to do right now. I'm a podcasting who streams. So I'm covering a lot of things every day.
Starting point is 00:29:24 So as far as streaming, sometimes, it doesn't go hand in hand. I'm not doing a podcast live. That's literally like giving away money to, like, it's like donating money. Like, you know what I'm saying? Like, I need y'all to come through and support through my podcast platforms. And then if the stream gets enough, you know, motion, then we'll start to live, do my segments live, right? I used to do my segments live. I realize it's just no point.
Starting point is 00:29:46 Like, if somebody watches it for free, why would they come to my podcast platform, right? And with that being said, that's it for analytic interactions, especially I've really enjoyed going from gaming and music and people being engaged in the content. So that's why I say always follow my social medias via analytic dreams or just click my link to my bio to get all the links to whatever social media platform you use. Now, time to get into the Master Effect part of the notorious Mass Effect podcast as we are going to get into the albums, songs, and games that have been affecting the masses the most. Now, of course, we're going to start out with the top five albums in the world. I do top 10 or top five? I don't forgot already. I think I do top five. So as far as tracks,
Starting point is 00:30:36 I think I do top 10. So top five albums in the world, we're going to start number five just to build suspense. You already know who at number one right now. But you know what I mean? As far as my picture, as far as the notorious Massifake episode 146, you can see I'm trolling a little bit. You know, I'm trolling a little bit. I'm showing that young Kendrick had Drake's arm around. I'm showing him the ropes just to fast forward decades later. later and call them a PDF, but you know, that's besides the point, right? That's besides a point. I was like, damn, look at the state of hip hop.
Starting point is 00:31:06 Like, what's going on? That's besides the point. I don't even know why I brought that up. But if you wanted a backstory behind this picture, that's why it's there. And I obviously already went over the sandbox stuff. So, number five, the fifth most popular, the fifth most popular album in the world currently is, of course, Bad Bunny with his album, Debbie Tarar, Moss Photos, basically selling 66,000 after it's been out for weeks actually
Starting point is 00:31:31 it may be a month at this point I hate how I have to put my phone so close I feel so old when I do that so as far as Bad Bunny I try to see if I can find his actual account okay here we go all right so Bad Bunny's album because I don't think people understand
Starting point is 00:31:51 how impressive this is to have the top five album in the world and the album basically came out January 5th of this year So it came out at the top of this year and it's still the fifth most play album in the world. That's actually insanity. The fourth most play album in the world of course goes to the immensely talented vocalist SZA as she sold 93,000 with her album SOS, which is basically the, well, Lainer was the deluxe edition for SOS. So I don't know why I say SOS.
Starting point is 00:32:24 It should say Lina. Or if the original is outstreaming the deluxe, I don't know. But anyways, that album came out. last year technically December 20th, 20th, so even more impressive. And of course, the one and only side seven, I mean, white tank top, I mean,
Starting point is 00:32:40 dang, I always forget his name. Kendrick. Kendrick has the third most popular album in the world currently with GNX. That album came out November 22nd, 2024. So if you notice, there's a lot of longevity with these albums,
Starting point is 00:32:54 which is why the top two is very interesting. As Sabrina Carpenter's album, Short and Sweet, is the second most popular album in the world but technically it was a deluxe edition so that's why the sales are boosted like the way it is but Sabrina's still a superstar definitely don't get it twisted i'm just saying the reason why uh the reason for the spike in sales is because she released a deluxe edition that's the only reason i'm not saying like she doesn't stream at all i'm just saying for the spike and sales it's because
Starting point is 00:33:19 it's the deluxe edition so sabrina carpenter has the second most popular album in the world with the deluxe edition of short and sweet and of course at number one do I even have to say it like come on now at this point UMG blackballing him Spotify blackballing them I mean Spotify's charts is completely different from iTunes charts
Starting point is 00:33:39 I wonder how that works right but I just I just think it's very interesting at the end of the day that Drake and Party Next Door had another number one album as far as it being completely R&B
Starting point is 00:33:52 now ladies and gentlemen when I tell you 14 number one albums is insanity. That's actually the definition of longevity because he just tied Taylor Swift and Jay-Z as the only solo artist to ever have 14 albums go number one. Talk about a tremendous accomplishment with the world against them. Everybody calling him a PDF and even to the point where he had to sue his own label,
Starting point is 00:34:26 which I still don't agree with. I still call him Blue Collar Snitch and Hip Hop Karen. At the end of day, you know, with that being said, he wants to sue UMG for because of defamation from not like us in the rap battle he engaged in right but at the end of the day um the reason why i pointed out is because even when all that working against them an album still put out the under the same label that he's suing still goes number one if that's not immense if that's not immensely immensely showcasing your dominance on a music game i don't know what is so that being said those are the top five albums in the world currently affecting the masses
Starting point is 00:35:01 this top five, I mean, number five is bad bunnies, Debbie Tarar Moss Photos. Number four is Sizz's album, the deluxe edition of SOS, which was titled Laina, Kendrick Lamar's G&X album, which is currently the third most popular album in the world. Sabrina Carpenter's deluxe edition of Short and Sweet is the second most popular album in the world. And then, of course, the most popular album in the world, obviously, is the goat. with some sexy songs for a complete R&B project, but ended up going number one with 248,000 units sold. Now, with that being said, of course, ladies and gentlemen,
Starting point is 00:35:49 let's get into the tracks that have affected the masses the most, and this we're going to do top 10 as we're going to start. As far as number 10, oh, there he go again. Who is that? Now, okay, before y'all say I'm, you know, going crazy, right? I have to let y'all know that Drake has the 10th. most popular album or 10th most popular track in the world of course with no key and then guess what is the sixth most popular track in the world is also occupied by drake under the same label that he's
Starting point is 00:36:28 suing he's still putting up these monumental numbers as give me a hug is the sixth most popular track in the world only reason i skip throughout the top 10 to let you know drak's placement is because this man is unequivocally the goat at this point so with that be that been seven number nine as far as the ninth most popular track in the world currently is a bar song in parentheses tipsy by shabuzzi been on the charts about 45 weeks you don't need me to tell you this is one of the most successful tracks of all time and is not even close as far as it true as far as its trajectory is definitely going diamond i would assume and shibuzzi is going to be eating off this song for the foreseeable future so the eighth most popular track in the world
Starting point is 00:37:17 is the immensely talented billy isish with her track birds of a feather that's been on our charts for about 40 weeks and is the eighth most popular track in the world and of course you have APT by Rosie and Bruno Mars that is the seventh most popular track in the world and that's been on our charts for about 18 weeks now as far as Rosie and Bruno Mars when it comes to Bruno Mars this man just can't stop making hits right this man's been in the game for a minute and still putting out hits to this day and to do it with another k-pop musician as far as Rosie from Black Pink is a first phenomenal accomplishment. Of course, I already went over number six as far as giving me a hug by Drake. The fifth most popular track in the world is of course squabble up by White Tintop. I mean,
Starting point is 00:38:01 Kendrick Lamar, right? He has the fifth most played track in the world, been on the charts about 13 weeks. And of course, the fourth most popular track in the world is TV off by Kendrick Lamar, been on the charts for 13 weeks. Then we have Bruno Mars once again showcasing his dominance in his music game as he has the third most played track in the world. with the track die with a smile featuring lady gaga that's been on the tracks for about 27 weeks and of course showcases that the people out there saying that bruno mars may owe some gambling corporation like millions of dollars that may be on the table because this man's making some hits after hit like hit after hit after hit this man in the studio cooking up like a
Starting point is 00:38:42 veteran renowned chef right this man's going crazy so he has the third most popular track in the world and of course kentra comes again pause as he has the second most popular track in the world, with, of course, the pedophile anthem, not like us being on a truce about 41 weeks. Also, you know, despite my favorite rapper being involved in this disc track in the most horrible way possible,
Starting point is 00:39:06 I do have to say that this is probably one of the most successful hip-hop songs of all time, like of all time. Like, this is going to go down history as, man, remember when not like us came out? Like, it's going to be one of those type of scenes when all things are said and done. Very immensely popular as far as this hip hop track. Then, the most popular track in the world is surprisingly Kendrick,
Starting point is 00:39:30 but not surprisingly because of Kendrick. Surprisingly is Kendrick and Sizz's song, Luther. That is surprisingly the number one track in the world currently. Been on a truck for about 13 weeks. That goes back to the whole Super Bowl commercial, and the Super Bowl halftime performance type of thing that everybody was saying that, oh, Kendrick's out here, performing 6 to 7 tracks
Starting point is 00:39:51 off of GNX and it actually worked for GNX but my main point was basically calling it the worst half-time performance of all time because of course I was exaggerating a little bit but I did not respect the fact that he chose to use a timeless stage like that
Starting point is 00:40:07 to perform 67 tracks from his latest album I think that's more of a selfish act than to showcase why people know you as Kendrick Lamar go through your greatest hits on one of the biggest performing stages in American history, right? Instead, he chose to promote GNX, which ended up working as Luther is the number one track in the world. But even though it's a successful marketing strategy from a GNX standpoint, from a timeless performance standpoint,
Starting point is 00:40:36 which is what I was wanting at the Grammys, I think that he ultimately sold himself short performing six to seven tracks off of GNX. Like, if we look 10 years from now and be like, who had the best performance, I don't think it's going to be. going to be Kendrick because of him relying heavily on GNX like it was like a classic or something right i think he should have performed his entire discography as far as the greatest his to showcase that he is one of the greatest artists to ever live right because i do believe that so anyways that's it for music as far as getting into gaming you know we have to start with steam as the top five on steam is of course starting out with the one and only marvel rivals as it currently has a
Starting point is 00:41:18 189,000 people playing the game with a 24 hour peak of 315,000 so that's the fifth most popular game on Steam and as far as the fourth most popular game we have source SDK based 2007 with 202,000 players concurrently playing the game with a 24 hour peak of 214,000 so not as high as Marvel rivals when it comes to 24 hour peak but of course people are still playing the game more right now as far as the player the concurrent play count the player count i can't even talk and then we have uh pub g battlegrounds at number three as far as them having 284 000 people currently playing the game and at a 24 hour peak of 789 000 which is that 24 hour peak is insane like i remember
Starting point is 00:42:10 i'll put a clip out and somebody comments under it they was like uh what's the most popular game besides like some other game i was talking about right i basically said PubG and it was like people still play PubG I was like do they PubG ain't going nowhere anytime soon specifically on the Steam platform people play PubG on Steam
Starting point is 00:42:32 like it's going out of style and this game been out for a minute and obviously you know it definitely revolutionized battle real because you know it upgraded from H1Z1 then we got then we got PUBG and of course it inspired the creation of Fortnite, which is one of the most impactful games of all time.
Starting point is 00:42:52 So battlegrounds will always be respected, in my opinion. And for a game that came out in 2017, them still having a third most popular slot on Steam is a tremendous accomplishment. It just showcases the longevity of somebody who revolutionized a battle real format. And of course, at number two, we have Dota 2, pun intended, as Dota 2 currently has 544,000 people playing the game concurrently in a 24-hour peak of 580,000, which is insane. But of course, none of the numbers I just listed out
Starting point is 00:43:27 is more impressive than the ultimate dominant game on Steam, which time, at the time, after time again, you realize that Counterstrike 2 is just one of the most popular games ever created. As they have a concurrent play account of 1.2 million and a 24-hour peak of 1.7 million. Yes, ladies and gentlemen, those, you heard me right. 1.2 million people playing the game concurrently and a 24-hour peak of 1.7 million.
Starting point is 00:43:57 I mean, talk about a notorious mass effect. Like, that is actually insane when you compare the rest of the list. The closest to player now count is, of course, Dota 2 with 544,000. And obviously, there's a big difference between 1.2 million and 544,000. to 24 hour peak it's not even a debate like 1.7 million nobody's even coming close to that so um well actually pbg did have 789,000 um 24 hour peak but obviously it's not close to 1.7 but you know that's the second closest so uh that is the top five games currently impacting the masses on steam you have marvel rivals at number five source SDK based 2007 and number four pbg battlegrounds at number three dota two
Starting point is 00:44:43 at two Counterstrike 2 as the ultimate popular game when it comes to the Steam platform as it comes in number one and with that being said let's transition
Starting point is 00:44:54 into Xbox because we all know Xbox don't play no game so it's same old same more over here until until you find out I'm about to put respect on your name
Starting point is 00:45:04 so y'all thought I was about to disrespect y'all but no for this specific episode because of course we always do up-to-day chart analysis right Kingdom come deliverance being on multiple slots of Xbox bestsellers is very, very pivotal for Xbox players
Starting point is 00:45:21 because you have to convince the conglomerance that you will play other games besides ball and gun games, right? So as far as Kingdom Come Deliverance being the fourth most popular game on Xbox, a tremendous accomplishment, especially for a video game that does not promote or highlight ball and gun, which is the primary which is primarily topping the charts on consoles. So, of course, the most popular game, we have 2K-25
Starting point is 00:45:51 ball game. Grand The Auto 5 is the second most popular game, gun game. Minecraft, at number 3, technically Minecraft is not ball a gun, so that is just a popular game. And then of course, in number 4, you had Kingdom Come, Deliverance 2, and then with that being said,
Starting point is 00:46:08 at number 5, you had PGA tour, 2K-20, another ball game Grand Theft Auto had another slot with the premium edition that's a ball game so I mean that's a gun game so we're not even going to count that one because it's the premium edition I don't count on one there twice which you know shout out
Starting point is 00:46:23 the kingdom come deliverance are actually on here three times as far as the kingdom come deliverance Royal Edition Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 and Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 gold edition you don't really see that too often as far as this type of game holding that many slots on the own
Starting point is 00:46:40 on the top games list because if you don't know, when it comes to consoles, they track analytics separately when you put out bundles. That's why they're on here. That's why the same game could be on here multiple times
Starting point is 00:46:53 if you was ever confused about that. But yeah, so as far as number six, I'm cutting out the second version of GTA. So as far as number six, NHL-25 standard edition, which is technically, that's more of a ball game. in my opinion.
Starting point is 00:47:11 When I say ball, I basically mean sports games. I know it's a puck, but you know, you got to stay with me with my analogy. And then we have at number seven, EA Sports Madden, NFL 25, another ball game. Call this football 25. Y'all get the point, right? It's the seventh most popular game on Xbox. The eighth most popular game is, okay, and that's basically it. Then there's like different versions of the most popular on this list.
Starting point is 00:47:37 So to reiterate the games affecting the math, the most on Xbox. Try to see if I can find it right quick. Five, six, seven, eight. Okay, coming in at number eight, we have, hold up, I missed that. Oh, I missed that, okay. And then number nine, we have the EA Sports FC-25 standard edition.
Starting point is 00:48:02 The reason why we're only going to nine, because the other slots are taken up by different editions of the same games on this list. So this is just a comprehensive order. So at number nine, as far as the best-selling games on Xbox currently, EA Sports FC-25 comes in at number nine. Number eight, you have college football 25. Number seven, you have Madden 25.
Starting point is 00:48:22 Number six, you have NHL 25. Number five, you have 2K-25, but the PGA, like, so basically, PGA tour, the golf game of 2K-25. And then number four, you have Kingdom Come deliverance. At number three, you have Minecraft, and number two, you have Granth and Fought of Five. and of course the most popular game on the Xbox platform is of course NBA 2K25. So tremendous accomplishment for, you know, the ball and gun game is just let the masses know that no matter how many high quality games you put out that doesn't have a ball and gun in it, we're still going to let those and make those sell the most.
Starting point is 00:49:01 So, you know, as much as I criticize them because they like to jump out the gate and tell you was game of the year, even though they only play ball and gun games, they still have a tremendous support system when it comes to these sports and gun games. So with that being said, let's transition into PlayStation. So the top 10 games that are currently affected the masses over on the PlayStation console. At number 10, we have Grand Theft Auto 5.
Starting point is 00:49:28 And number nine, oh, this is interesting because at number nine, we have Marvel rivals. Marvel rivals wasn't anywhere to be found on the Xbox top games list, which is very interesting. And number eight, we have Madden 25. And number seven, we have 2K25 as far as the PGA, the golf version. So PGA tour, 2K, 25.
Starting point is 00:49:49 And number six, we have Monster Hunter Wilds, which is interesting because has that game came out yet? Don't that game, that game doesn't come out to tomorrow. If you don't know, I'm recording this, like, a day before Monster Hunter Wilde's come out. Really? Oh, that's another thing. I don't think people understand how I make the... I make this podcast sporadically.
Starting point is 00:50:08 So I say I'm making this the day before Monster Hunter Wilde's come out. I'm basically making this intro. Interestingly enough, I've never made an intro and an outro at the same time that the episode has been recorded in full. So the episode's done. As of me, as of me talking to you right now, me talking to analytic dreams video on Spotify to see the video along with the audio. But as of me talking to you right now, the episode is complete. I've never completed an episode and the intro and outro was the last thing. need to do so because if you don't know a lot of research goes into these episodes which is why
Starting point is 00:50:40 i split it up the way i do as far as making sure some of the content comes out sooner so it's more relevant so anyways um number five we have EA sports FC so the soccer game from EA and number four we have EA sports college football 25 and number three we have the one and only call of duty and number two we have fortnight this is why i like to go over specific platforms because you didn't see fortnight anywhere on the xbox list you saw minecraft in number two but you didn't see fortnight which is very interesting and of course number one the most play game on the playstation and xbox platform is NBA 2k 25 and it makes me wonder is it because the NFL season is over that people want to get into 2k as the season is going i wonder if that's like more of an uptick and sales
Starting point is 00:51:28 because the playoffs are coming more so than the NFL ending like i don't know which one has more of a effect on the uptick and sales for 2k25 because it's usually not number one on both platforms usually as either call the duty or fortnight so just a little food for thought so anyways let's transition from consoles and to mobile games because i told my mobile game is out there that i would put respect in your name and respect i have put in my humble opinion because i currently have i think like three to five reviews of mobile games out currently yeah because i okay so three i've reviewed mobile legends bang bang i've reviewed marvel contents of champions i've talked about the best emulators for android and iphone as far as back in may 20 uh
Starting point is 00:52:16 24 i definitely reviewed something else as far as on this list uh it was cookie oh i didn't put let me see uh mobile i should have put mobile but i guess you already get the point if i put the actual game title right so basically what i'm talking about is uh i i covered the cookie squad buses i may have recorded it and not put it out yeah i've recorded it's not it hasn't came out yet but there's three games i've i've covered so far and with that being said we're covering another one in this episode um put mobile game on covering this episode oh okay yeah this is the episode i cover cookie run kingdom so like i said you know i'm trying to put respect in your names because y'all definitely bring in crazy
Starting point is 00:52:58 and exorbitant amount of money when it comes to revenue in the gaming industry. So I think it's only right to put respect in your name and basically cover more mobile games that's affecting the masses. So anyways, with that being said, let's get into the top eight of the
Starting point is 00:53:15 most popular mobile games in the world. And number eight, we have Dragon Air Silent Gods. And number seven, we have Pokemon Go. And number six, we have Roblox. which interestingly enough the first time i ever play roblox was with the one and only little uchi of course a content creator you can follow him at little uci on ticot instagram things that nature but basically i did not realize that you could do anything in roblox like for robox for roblox to be a free game i should not have been able to go from a zombies map to a boxing map to a tdm type map to a racing simulator like it was insane and it was insane and it It all had like different worlds. Like Roblox is a really fun game when you actually have somebody who's like played it before and know where they're going.
Starting point is 00:54:05 So that game was actually insane as far as everything that we did in it. It was a short amount of time too. And to get that at a at a price tag of nothing, like it kind of reminded me of Fortnite and, you know, definitely told me or definitely enlighten me on why Roblox is so popular. You get so much value for not having to pay a thing. Obviously I paid a little bit because I want it to the Spider-Man skin, you know what I mean? So I had to pay a little bit to get that. that but in general roblox surprised me and blew my expectations out of the water with how how fun it was but i don't know it may just depend on who you play with so anyways uh cookie run kingdom comes at number five
Starting point is 00:54:43 it's the fifth most played game currently on the mobile platforms and we're also getting into that in this episode so stay tuned for that warhammer 40,000 tactitious is the fourth most popular game in the world of course you have marvel contests of chance of chance of change The third most played game in the world. Imagine having Marvel contests of champions going crazy and Marvel rivals. Like at this point, Marvel is bringing in bank, but not for the movies. Sorry, I had to send a shot because, of course, I like the Captain America movie. If I had to give a short review, I think it's overhated, but I don't think it's amazing.
Starting point is 00:55:18 I don't think it's amazing. I don't think it's trash. I think it's a solid movie about one singular superhero. And I think in general, people are just wanting in-game and Infinity. level stories after the fact and it's just it just can't happen we have to build it back up so captain america i think did a phenomenal job i give on uh at giving sam an interesting kit as far as when he's fighting i think his kids more interesting the steve rogers kid in my opinion like the the vibranium wings the shield the bird being able to do all type of tricks with the shield like that was
Starting point is 00:55:50 actually pretty pretty cool so anyways um mobile legends bang bang is the second most popular mobile game in the world right now and of course at number one we have the one and only squad busters i don't think i've covered squad busters yet they haven't covered that yet but anyways we're going to get around to squad busters at some point but with that been said let me reiterate the top eight mobile games that are currently affecting the masses we have dragon air silent gods at number eight pomeoombox and number six cookie run kingdom and number five warhammer four thousand tactitious at number four Marvel contest of champions at number three mobile legends bang bang and number two and of course the most popular mobile game currently
Starting point is 00:56:38 is squadbusters so of course that could change and especially when I cover Cookie Run Kingdom that this list fluctuates all the time because you know it's a mobile game but currently squadbusters is the most popular mobile game in the world so with that been said let's switch over into nintendo land which is technically mario land but because we have a new king at the throne as far as donkey con returns HD being the most play game on that platform is very it's very much an outlier whenever you see a game not named mario being a top selling game on nintendo it's definitely a fun a monumental accomplishment so anyways super mario party jamboree came in at number two, Mario Car 8,
Starting point is 00:57:24 Deluxe came in at number three. Urban Legend Dismantling Center What in the World? Came in at number four. Minecraft came in at number five. Animal Crossing came in number six. Pokemon Scarlet and Violet came in at number seven. Sidmeyer
Starting point is 00:57:40 Civilization 7 came came in at number eight. Super Smash Bros. Brawl Special came in number nine and Super Mario Odyssey rounded off the top 10, well, at number 10. So of course, that's why I put so much respect on Mario's name because he just immensely impacts the masses on a Nintendo platform to the point where people forget that he actually
Starting point is 00:58:02 save gaming as a whole. So these type of monumental sales numbers and the way that it never fluctuates to where it's like bad numbers, it's always towards the top. It's just a credit to Mario's character as a whole. So to round off the top 10 most popular games when it comes to affecting the masses on Nintendo specifically. Super Mario Odyssey came in at number 10. Super Smash Bros. came in at number 9. Sin Myers Civilization 7 came in at 8.
Starting point is 00:58:36 Pokemon Scarlet Violet came in at 7. Animal Crossing came in at 6. Minecraft came in at 5. Urban Legend Dismantling Center. I still get a kick out of that name. Like, bro. Who in the world starts a project? Like, you know what?
Starting point is 00:58:50 I think the official title needs to be Urban Legend Dismantling Center. Like, who thinks about that? Like, why is the title so egregiously long? Like, shorten that up. We ain't got time to be saying all that at the game stop? Yeah, let me get one of the Urban Legend Dismantling Centers. Actually, let me get two of the Urban Legend Dismantily Centers for Little Timie and his friend. Like, nobody trying to see all that.
Starting point is 00:59:13 Nobody trying to say all that. So anyways, that game came in at number four. Mario Car 8 Deluxe came in at number three Super Mario Party Jamboree came in number two and of course the most popular game currently affecting the masses on Nintendo
Starting point is 00:59:29 is Donkey Kong Returns HD which we will be getting into in this episode. So with that being said definitely make sure to click my link to share in my bio to access my social media as and follow to keep up my latest activities
Starting point is 00:59:44 and if you want to support the show financially click my cash at blink located towards the bottom of my link tree as it helps your show overall also make sure to share this podcast rating the show five stars as this helps the show reach more people so we can grow together and affect the masses now let's get into the first segment of the notorious mass effect episode 146 is full body VR the future of gaming and let's get into that episode right now video on Spotify to see the video along with the audio because the date is November 12th 2024 and analytic dreams himself is just going over the Grammy nominations for the year of 2025 let's see what he has to say back in 2010 and then Childish Gambino for uh this is America back in 2019 which actually won the category okay so the Only when ever was This is America by Childish Gambino. Okay.
Starting point is 01:00:56 So I take that back. I mean, that balances it out. Wait, hold up. Hold up. And it was at that moment that brother was enlightened. You're telling me a song that started off as a Drake disc track. Y'all going to think I'm caping. Hold on.
Starting point is 01:01:11 Let me pull this out because, yo, there's no way. I just put two and two together. I was like, hold on now. Wait, wait one second. Wait one second. That brother is ultimately doing the science right now currently. You have to stick with him. All right, my fault for it being so loud.
Starting point is 01:01:33 To be completely- Now, we're gonna put this on full screen because I don't want y'all to think I'm just being a Drake stand. If they give, I'm doing the science right now. Before the song started as a joke, to be completely honest, like, this is America, like that was all we had was like that line. This is America. Don't that you're slipping on.
Starting point is 01:01:53 Look how I'm living on. And it started as a Drake disc. So forget that bar. Let's talk about how the Grammy's about to set a precedent that the only way you can win record of the year as a hip-hop musician, as a hip-hop record, is if you dis Drake.
Starting point is 01:02:27 Ladies and gentlemen, I'm done with the Grammys. I ain't going to lie to you. Now, of course, not like us has, you know, technically hasn't won the award. But all I'm saying is the 67th Grammy Award, award show set to take place on February 2nd, 2025, has an opportunity to make the most hilarious decision of all time. What in the world are we going to do with our genre if the only way we get
Starting point is 01:02:54 record of the year is to diss that Canadian? And with that being said, now, fast forward to 2025 February 3rd, one day after the Grammy Award show has happened. And guess what? But just guess what? Kendrick's not like us. One record of the year, song of the year, best rap performance, best rap song, and best music video. Now, let me tell you something. As far as y'all following notorious mass effect by clicking my link to me in my bio and just following on whatever social media you use, that is definitely something you should do if you want insightful. full information on the industry because I called this all the way back in November 12th,
Starting point is 01:03:47 2024 because very interestingly enough, the only way we've ever had a hip hop record when record of the year at the Grammys was when it started off as a Drake disc track. And here we are in 2025 where another hip hop record is up for record of the year and just guess what the subject matter is. guess what the subject matter is dissing Drake and not only dissing Drake but calling
Starting point is 01:04:18 him a certified pedophile ladies and gentlemen we have lost our way in the land of hip-hop because we have let the Grammys make a mockery of our genre and the only way we ever get recognition is to diss that Canadian
Starting point is 01:04:33 because for some reason the Grammys think our genre is so subparred that the only way we're even get record of the year is if we diss the most popular rapper in the game so with that being said let's just get into the overall achievements of kentrick lamar because i don't want to seem like i'm hating right i just want to point out the objective facts that this is america started off as a disc track not like us is an entire disc track and both of those are the only hip-hop tracks to win record a year now i want to beat the dead horse so now let's just get into the rest of it right
Starting point is 01:05:10 Kendrick Lamar who actually attended the Grammys last night it ended up winning well he ended up winning five Grammys and Kendrick Lamar has a total of 22 Grammys tying with U2 and Vince Gill but his overall nominate nominations is at 57 but the biggest deal out of his whole career as far as going to the Grammys is figuring out that not like us has just became the second hip hop record ever to win both record of the year and song of the year. And obviously, I've already told y'all what the first one was, but of course the Grammy states it again as they said, this is America by Childish Gambino was the first. So with that being said, both of those tracks are inevitably Canadian disc tracks, more specifically Aubrey Graham, aka Drake, disc tracks. So when you get into that fact, and I don't want anybody. saying I'm making this up because let's just listen to the man himself who made this is America.
Starting point is 01:06:13 And it started as a Drake disc to be all right. Yeah so being honest, both of those tracks that are Drake disc is the only hip hop tracks to ever win record and song of the year. One of the things I wanted to point out is the higher ups coming together to take Drake out as a collective, right? And if you don't believe me, here's just one. This is a prime example number one, right? We're making this entire deal about Drake because if it wasn't for the simple fact that I did the science and realized the only hip hop songs to ever win record of the year at the Grammys with Drake disc tracks, I wouldn't even be doing this if that wasn't the case, right? If they would have gave a record of the year Grammy win to Kanye, I mean, who's more deserving than Kanye to
Starting point is 01:06:58 have the first hip hop record of the year, right? Jay Z, let's not even forget about how they disrespect the DMX for his entire career, rest and piece of DMX. I mean, there's a lot of people you could talk about as far as overall record of the year, because they always give us, oh, rap song at a year, rap album of the year. But as far as the other genres are considered, they've always put us in the box of not being as artistic when it comes to record or a song of the year, which is why we never win. And which is why we only have two hip-hop songs that have won. But guess what? What's the subject matter?
Starting point is 01:07:33 Of course, Drake districts. Now, let me get back to prime example number one. Lucian Grange See if I can find this right quick Lucian Grange and Dr. Dre of course celebrating not like us winning and over her high-fiving having just a time in their lives
Starting point is 01:07:50 If you don't know that's who Let me make it So y'all can see it So that guy who just high-five Dr. Dre right here This guy I know it's kind of blurry Twitter's terrible with the optimization Lucian Grange is just a guy high-fiving Dr. Dre right? Y'all want to know who
Starting point is 01:08:06 Lucian Granges, the owner, the CEO of Universal Music Group. Now, I think owner and CEO is two different things. So I think he's a CEO of Universal Music Group. And Universal Music Group currently has 45% of the entire music market share. And of course, that's on a low end. So 45% is on the low end of market share because of Central C and a bunch of other Sony music entertainment acts just showing. up as far as on the charts like sisa kane brown central cdala the creator who else is on on a sony uh raw a a a Alejandro
Starting point is 01:08:49 rod wave a hosierre sisa sis is on here twice that's how crazy that that's how crazy the numbers she's putting up that's how crazy the numbers are as far as her what she's putting up so UMG usually has like 50 plus of the market share but because of those Sony acts going crazy on the charts Sony currently has 33%, which is the second largest. Of course, the third largest is Warner Music Group, but 18%. And then the other independent acts are 4%, which I've been brought to my attention. That, of course, there's more major labels outside of Universal Sony and Warner. So the others could also be incorporating those major labels that's not named Universal Sony and Warner.
Starting point is 01:09:29 But as far as the independent artists out there, that's why I just attribute that percentage to them. because if the major label was big enough, I think they would have more of a market share compared to a universal Sony or Warner. So we just put them in the independent lane. So that's basically why I group all those together. So anyways, with that being said, Kendrick Lamar currently has seven tracks on the charts.
Starting point is 01:09:52 You want to know what those tracks are as far as the most popular. The most popular track currently from Kendrick Lamar as of January, as of February 3rd, 2025 is Luther. on the tracks for about nine weeks and the track he made with Sizer right his second most popular is TV off which be on the charts about nine weeks and is the 13th most played track in the world and then you have 30 for 30 the track off of Sizzas Laina deluxe for its SOS basically that's been on the charts for about five weeks that's the 23rd most played track in the world and then you have well excuse me I missed the squabble up squabble up is the 21st most played track in the world and then
Starting point is 01:10:34 you have peekaboo 79th most play track in the world and then hey now which is 90th most play track in the world featuring la artist dody six now all of those track all of those seven tracks from kendrick is on the charts currently as far as the billboard hot 100 now as far as recognizing him for his past work in 2024 obviously not like us has put up insurmountable numbers to the point where now people are recognizing it as the best this track of all time i think it's time to come together as a hip hop collective and say that no no vaseline hit him up ether back to back all of those are insufficient when it comes to impact versus not like us not like us has the most impact we've ever seen from a disc track to the point where the person he dissed is crashing out
Starting point is 01:11:29 and suing his own label he sued his own label so that's like if lebron sued nike you know Nike out here putting out shoes by kd it's like if if uh lebron sued him for that like hold up aren't we doing the same thing for you so in general drake is crashed out germain he put out a disc record and apologized nobody's heard from him since everything that happened after this not like us track has just been a monumental w for kentrick lamar it's Ultimately, one of the biggest, one of the biggest disc tracks we've ever received in the hip hop genre. And of course, that is why he ended up sweeping at the Grammys,
Starting point is 01:12:16 winning all the awards. But it still doesn't take away the fact that it is the only, is the second only hip-hop track to win record of the year. And it's funny how we only get overall record of the year attention when we're dissing Drake. So with that being said, Kendrick Lamarer is also, oh, I didn't finish with them celebrating. Y'all wanted to see who else was celebrating?
Starting point is 01:12:39 Now, of course, I love this artist. I never want to be for her fans. And I mean, never. If there's one fan base, you never want to beef with it. This is the one. And obviously, I've seen with my coverage of Taylor Swift
Starting point is 01:12:49 over the span of this podcast, I'm very fond of her. If you look up Taylor Swift analytic dreams, I've covered her a plethora of times. So with that being said, we have to get our jokes off. You know what I mean? It don't matter how fond I am of an artist.
Starting point is 01:13:03 I get my jokes off. I mean, I call Drake, hip hop, Karen, and the blue collar snitch. We got to get into Taylor Swift because, ladies and gentlemen, y'all let me know what this move is. What is, what is Taylor Swift doing right here to this song? Y'all let me know what this is called. Now, at first, I thought this was a stanky leg. But I was like, it couldn't be the stanky leg. That came out of 2000s, right?
Starting point is 01:13:24 So I had to look it up. When was the stanky leg invented? Like, actually. I need an actual date to find out if the stanky leg is still popular in 2025. But obviously, it's not. As stanky leg was popularized in the release, popularized with the release of the song Stanky Leg by the GS Boys August 15th, 2008. Ladies and gentlemen,
Starting point is 01:13:54 I'm going to keep reiterating the date because this is a monumental time as far as pointing out the top musicians in the game while also getting our jokes off. Why in 2025 is Taylor Swift doing the stanky leg to not like us by Kendrick Lamar? That's all I need to know. You know, Swifties don't come after me. Everybody get these jokes no matter how much I am fond of Taylor Swift. So with that being said, let's go to the next video, right? That wasn't even enough.
Starting point is 01:14:21 The stanky leg wasn't enough. She had to put up a glass. She's like, I'm so glad you took down my biggest enemy. Because if you don't know, as far as the top five in the music industry, there's Taylor Swift. there's billy isish there's uh bad bunny there's morgan wallin and then there's the weekend now drake used to be in that top five guess where he's at now it's nowhere to be found i'm not lying to you when i say drake crashed out it is essentially over for the year of 2025 and maybe 2026 as far as him being a chart-topping musician for the long haul i'm not talking about what conier did as far as coming
Starting point is 01:15:00 at the gate and getting a number one. I'm talking about sustaining that success for the entire year. Unless he signs to another music label, not named Universal Music Group, that's a wrap. So that being said, that is basically what Taylor Swift is acknowledging right here, putting up a glass to the way that Kendrick Lamar took out one of her most pivotal competitors in his music industry. Let's just put it like that. Also, Dr. Dre, he couldn't get enough of Taylor Swift's stanky leg as he had to get a view for himself. As he turned around right here, as you see, he's watching, he's watching Taylor Swift get off. You know, this is a different move.
Starting point is 01:15:41 I respect this move. The stanky leg, I couldn't respect as much. Hold, let me put this full screen so y'all can see them. The stanky legs, I couldn't, like, respect as much because y'all seen what that look like, right? But this move, you know, this is definitely in her bag. You know, this is in her range. You know how certain cultures have certain ranges when it comes. to rhythm and rhythmic movements.
Starting point is 01:16:03 Let's just say Taylor Swift's culture, let's just put it like that, right? Let's just say they're very limited when it comes to rhythmic movements and it co-aligning with the beat or correlating with the beat, right? So anyways, that being said, shout out to Taylor Swift. You know, she's still the biggest gangster
Starting point is 01:16:21 in the music industry. You know what I mean? Don't get me shut down. This is all jokes, you know what I'm saying? So that being said, that's all I had on Kendrick Lamar winning five awards. It's a lot of jokes when it comes to my coverage of Kendrick Lamar because if you really think about it, this man had his most successful year of all time falsely accusing a man of being a pedophile. Is that not insane? Like imagine you being an up-and-coming musician looking at the current landscape. Like what's encaptivating the masses?
Starting point is 01:16:51 How can I come out and just show my artistry? Might as well just falsely accused a man of being a pedophile, right? actually you should probably you should probably not do that right you end up without you end up being in a Drake lawsuit as well but as far as the Grammys obviously they don't care as far as the Super Bowl people are talking about how not like us will probably not get performed because it has the pedophile stuff in it but if you don't know uh the promo for a Kendrick Lamar's Super Bowl performance during the NFC and the AFC championship basically was playing the not like us be essentially letting everybody who's being a naysayer talking about I may not get performed, letting them know,
Starting point is 01:17:33 hey, Kendrick's performing this track. And not only is he performing this track, we're going to give him five Grammys. We're going to make him the second hip-hop track ever to win record of the year. He's going to get on that stage, and he's going to say, hey, Drake, I heard you like him young. So that being said, you know, it's not really too much we can get into outside of the Drake accusations. Kendrick sweeping at the Grammys, you know, his history at the Grammys, it hasn't been always as good as it is now, as far as, you know, in 2014, everybody knows when McLemore took his
Starting point is 01:18:03 award when he was nominated for seven awards. But, you know, McClmore, after beating him out, well, quote-unquote, beating him out for the award, uh, said, you got robbed. I wanted you to win. You should have. And he's like, sucks that. Robbed you. It was crazy. But, you know, of course, Kendra, you know, him being the guy that he has basically said it was well-deserved for McClmore, even though he was lying through his teeth, just like he lost. on a lot of people but you know that's cool it's whatever um i'm glad he handled that with grace because if he didn't i'm pretty sure people would try to make it like a you know the black man angry stereotype you know what i mean so i'm so glad that kentrick took that with grace but yeah in 2014 when um
Starting point is 01:18:44 mac lemore beat out kendrick lamar for best rap album mind you kentrick put out good kid mad city nominated has seven nominations one zero seven nominations for good kid man zero Man City one zero at the 2014 Grammy Award show. McLemore ended up winning best rap album, which showcases why maybe they're pandering so much towards Kendrick Lamar because ever like since then. Kendrick has ended up winning time and time again. So when it comes to his impact on the field, is obviously
Starting point is 01:19:28 appreciated by the higher-ups and the people who vote on these award shows because if you don't know my favorite music award show that I think is the objective litmus scale
Starting point is 01:19:39 for how superstars impacted the masses is the Billboard Award the Billboard Music Award show I think that's the best award show that we have
Starting point is 01:19:48 currently Grammys as you can see Dochi just ended up winning Best Rap album no disrespectful dosi all I want to let y'all know is Nicky Minaj has zero
Starting point is 01:20:00 nominations for one of her best albums of all time I just want to let you know it gets lost in translation because we want to champion Kendrick and things of that nature Nikki Minaj is the most disrespectful artists ever like all time the most disrespected artists of all time at the Grammys
Starting point is 01:20:17 and maybe just period right Nikki Minaj may be the most disrespectful artists of all time now obviously to play devil's advocate I do hear that she doesn't have the fondest of attitudes towards the media. So maybe if she, you know, treats people better, she would get treated better. But at this point, it's kind of egregious that she put out Pink Friday 2, sold a crazy amount first week, went on a sold-out tour. And now, when it comes to their Grammys, no nominations for Pink Friday 2.
Starting point is 01:20:48 Like, it just didn't exist. That's why I'm saying that I feel like the Billboard of Music Awards, is way more objective when it comes to highlighting our actual impactors as far as the masses when it comes from the music industry. Grammys is all politics and we pick who we want to win. It's very different. But nonetheless, Kendrick ended up winning. He has 22 Grammy wins and a total of 57 nominations. So, you know, I guess all he needed to do was call Drake a certified pedophile for him to win record of the year. I feel like young Gamerer at the end of Infinity War. What did it take? And at what cost? So that being said, click my link to
Starting point is 01:21:39 in my bio. Let me know one of my social medias. What do you think about Kendrick just sweeping up the 2025 Grammy Award show winning record of the year, song of the year, best rap performance, best rap song, and best music video. And at the end of the day, what is your biggest takeaway from Hip-hop only getting recognized for record of the year when they diss Drake. Kendrick Lamar has just completed his victory lap and with that being said, the conclusion of the victory lap came via his Super Bowl L-I-X halftime show. Now, of course, if the Super Bowl halftime show is the conclusion of your victory lap, safe to say or safe to assume that you had immense success.
Starting point is 01:22:31 leading up to it as not only was not like us one of the most pivotal rap tracks of all time, maybe the best disc record of all time, but also when it comes to the Grammys, you won five Grammys for one track. Now, of course, Kendrick Lamar has won five Grammys before back in 2018 for his album, Damn, where he won Best Rap album, he won Best Rap Performance for Humble, He won best rap song for humble, best music video for humble, and of course, best rap slash song performance for loyalty featuring Rihanna. Now, of course, was Rihanna anywhere to be found in the Super Bowl halftime performance? Of course not. Why?
Starting point is 01:23:18 Because I think Kendrick made it a point to give us the worst Super Bowl halftime performance of all time. Yes, ladies and gentlemen, we're going to get into this performance entirely. but i just want y'all to go to analytic dreams video on spotify and look at this tracklist with this right quick this track list right here is the official tracklist of the super bowl lix half-time show of course primarily performed by kendrick when i tell y'all the reasons for pivotal tracks that shaped kendrick's career not being on the set list i can't even imagine what the thought process was as far as coming up with this track list to perform at the Super Bowl there's only one time you get to headline the Super Bowl it's only one time and usually
Starting point is 01:24:06 artists make it count for Kendrick he used it as an opportunity to of course promote GNX which seems like the best move when it comes from a marketing standpoint right the only thing is as far as performances standing the test of time usually you want to showcase why your fans even supported you in the first place as far as hardcore kendrick fans and kendrick did the opposite with majority of these tracks being from GNX to the point where he had a whole entire unreleased snippet from GNX. Yes, he, Kendrick Lamar treated this like he was freestyle in the back of a hip hop award show. I don't want to say any names because, you know, of course, I don't want to basically talk down
Starting point is 01:24:52 on any award shows. But let's just say the way that he performed, you would not have thought he was at the Super Bowl because the set list is beyond. atrocious looking at the actually I'm just gonna leave this up right here so analytic dreams video on Spotify to see the video along with the audio so you can see this atrocious set list now of course there's a few songs that I would have kept on here but for the most part we're gonna get into the entire performance and why I think this is one of the worst Super Bowl halftime shows of all time now of course with that out the way
Starting point is 01:25:21 let's just get into some of the objective facts as far as Kendrick Lamar being a 22 time Grammy Award winner and along with that he has now now, well he has now performed at the Caesar Superdome in New Orleans. Of course, during the Eagles just putting the beat down on the chiefs. Like, did the chiefs even show up? All those jokes about the refs helping the chiefs out and things of that nature, I could not tell. That's all I'm saying. Whole time, I'm not even watching NFL.
Starting point is 01:25:47 I'm just listening to people on the headlines talk about how the chiefs have the refs in the pocket, and they out here getting beat by 100 million points. So I'm confused. Anyways, getting back to the set list in the stage design. Kierc Lamar, of course, came out on his 1987 Buick Grand National GNX, which, you know, is basically what the album is referring to. And with that, he performed so many tracks off of GNX. You would have thought GNX was the second coming to get good kid in Mad City, right?
Starting point is 01:26:15 So anyways, with the performance, one of the bigger standouts is the surprise that Kendrick had up his sleeve as far as having Samuel Jackson dressed as Uncle Sam, a theatrical narrative to the entire show. So that's this big surprise that Kendrick had. I digress. So let's keep going, right? The set list was, of course, he started with, or no, he didn't even start with that. Let me look at the official set list.
Starting point is 01:26:42 So he started with whacked out murals. He went into, actually, let me see if I can switch this right quick. He started with whacked out murals, went into GNX, an unreleased snippet. So we don't even know if this track is hot garbage or fire. We don't even know yet. And he performed it at the Super Bowl. I want you to understand what levels of error. against has to go into performing an unreleased snippet like people are going to vibe with it or even
Starting point is 01:27:05 cheer for it or even be simply being able to rap or sing along to the lyrics as part of a show right so you play something that's unreleased at the super bowl you only get one chance by digress so gnx unreleased snippet was played at the super bowl half-time show performance uh squabble up humble dna euphoria man at the garden which is my favorite off of gen x but without performing at the Super Bowl. Of course not. Pekaboo, Luther with Siza, all the stars with Siza, not like us, and TV off. Now, first things first, Kendrick Lamar is immensely talented. We just got to get that out the way, because of course the K-bots are going to be in my comment section 24-7 like they already are. Shout out to the K-box is running up the comments because I ain't going to lie to you.
Starting point is 01:27:49 As far as engagement as being a content creator, that's one of the main things that keeps the ball rolling. as far as people, whether it's hate or love, just engaging with your content. I want y'all to look at this right here. This is why people say that hate, hate or love it, they're all counted as engagement as far as the algorithm. So this, which one is this is it? This one right here. Everybody's just going insane.
Starting point is 01:28:16 As you can see, actually, let me see if you can see the count right quick. What's the count on this one right? So we're currently at 39,000. We're about to cross 40,000. Obviously, my most viral video on Instagram. You should definitely follow me on Instagram. Shamish Plug, Analytic underscore Dreams. But anyways, so I put up this clip about how the only way you can win record of the year as a hip hop musician is the disc Drake, which still I stand by because of course, this is America by Childish Gambino won record of the year.
Starting point is 01:28:42 The first hip hop track ever to win record of the year overall record of the year, because people like to say song of the year and like hip hop or rap song. No, overall record of the year at the Grammys. This is America was the first hip hop track ever to win that award. Of course, the second track, not like us by Kendrake Lamar, both of those, well, not like us by Kendrake Lomar won record of the year. So both of those tracks are the only two hip-hop tracks that ever win record of the year. And people thought I was tripping with the whole comparing it to it being, or both songs, being a Drake disc, but do I have to pull it up one more time just to let y'all know that
Starting point is 01:29:19 the only way to get overall record of the year recognition is the discrate? Before the song started. And it started as a Drake Dis, to be honest. It's like, I was like, Now, ladies and gentlemen, after getting the objective facts out of the way, right? Because people swear you're making up stuff. Childish Gambino just said started off as a Drake Disc, the first hip-hop record to ever win record of the year.
Starting point is 01:29:42 I wonder if Jay-Z, Kanye, DMX, I mean 50 Cent, M&M, I mean, are they not enough? This was the first song to ever win record of the year overall at the Grammys and it started off as a Drake Disc. Fast forward to 2025, we had another hip hop track when the overall record of the year. Guess what the subject matter was? Just guess. Of course, entire Drake disc.
Starting point is 01:30:05 Forget the, it started off as a Drake disc. What did it Gambino? Hold on, let's go to Gambino himself. What did he say? And it started as a Drake disc. So forget that. Forget starting as a Drake disc. Imagine making a whole entire Drake disc.
Starting point is 01:30:17 And now it's the most awarded hip hop track ever at the Grammys. People think you just making stuff up. But anyways, so that's basically what this clip is talking about. And of course, as you can see, and oh, shout out to little Uchi. He was joking right here. But, you know, of course, I had a comment back with him. But also, make sure to follow a little Uchi, as you can see right here. But with that being said, you see the comment section, you know, people are just going insane.
Starting point is 01:30:38 And of course, you know, I'm true to this, not new to this. So, you know, this doesn't really affect me. I always know that the engagement at the end of the day is the main goal. But I do stand by all sentiments. But the main thing after that is getting engagement. So everybody who joins in as far as hate, as far as love, I always am grateful for anybody who engages with my content. Because at the end day, we're talking about music, right? So somebody said, Drake ain't going to let you hear, bro.
Starting point is 01:31:05 Chill out. That's just hilarious. Like, we're in the world? You bring up objective facts with, like, your whole reason for why it comes about the way that it does and people talking about another man hitting. Anyways, so we're in 2025, right? That's cancelable. I ain't going to lie to you. So with that being said.
Starting point is 01:31:22 All jokes aside, this is probably going to go viral as well because we're back talking about Kendrick. Now, of course, the only reason we're talking about Kendrick is because he performed at the Super Bowl halftime show. It's a pretty big deal if I do say so myself. I covered when the weekend did it. I covered when Rihanna did it. Safe to say, Jay-Z is having a terrible time finding hip-hop artists who can actually put on a show. Rihanna, we're going to exclude her because I don't want any beef with the Navy, but also she was pregnant. We just don't leave that to the side, right?
Starting point is 01:31:50 The weekend. I love the weekend. all the music that he's created. I've even gotten killed on that same platform Instagram for comparing him vocally, specifically vocally, to Michael Jackson. Of course, I know, hey, the Michael Jackson fans are irate that I even made that comparison, but hey, I made it. So with that been saying, you already know I'm a huge weekend fan. I believe what he did at the Super Bowl was also pretty lacklustre. And the main thing I think that is a detriment to these musicians is the lack of, I'm not going to say rhythm, but the lack of dance choreography in the performance.
Starting point is 01:32:25 Kendrick can walk around and rap till he's blue in the face. We want to see some choreography from you specifically. All these dancers in the background. My brother, their name's not all the Super Bowl halftime show performance. Your name's on there. We want to see you do something that we're like, hey, that was pretty cool. I don't even know if I could have did that, right? Obviously, rapping is a very respected art form.
Starting point is 01:32:49 So none of y'all could do what Kendrick just did when it comes to rap, right? Right? So when it comes to the overall performance, though, we want to see more as far as from Kendrick. We want to see him dance a little bit more. I know he's not a pop star, but still, like, give us a little something, right? He danced a little bit, but we want dance choreography that engages the public, not just moving your shoulders or doing your crypt walk, the crib walk or however you pronounce it. I'm a law-abiding citizen sign. I don't know too much about that.
Starting point is 01:33:14 But anyways, with that being said, let's get back into Kendrick. So, we'll pause. The official set list, I took it upon myself because I don't want to, I don't want people, I don't want people to think that I'm just making excuses, just to say that this is the worst Super Bowl halftime show of all time because my favorite artist is Drake. To the point where, actually, it's to the point where I wanted the set list to demolish Drake. I want you to actually stand on what you said. You falsely accused a grown man of being a pedophile. So why not stand on it? on the biggest stage possible.
Starting point is 01:33:49 So with that being said, this is my official track list that I had. You can forget this trash official set list. This is the set list I had up, right, for his show. And this is what I had proposed for whoever, PG Lang or whatever. Because I think the only reason he had all of these songs of GNX and his past two projects is because of his split with TD. If you don't know, Kendrick Lamar was signed to TD back in, well, since 2005. And of course, with that being said, they grew him to a superstar to superstar status.
Starting point is 01:34:23 Now, Punch from TDE was one of the main people as far as Top Dog Entertainment, and he was one of the head honchos. But there was a person also there named Dave Free. Now, why is that a pivotal name to keep in mind? Because Dave Free was the co-president of TDE, and he left the label in 2019. Now, that is very pivotal to point out because of if you go to Kendrick's discography, right? So I'm about to do this with y'all. If you go to Kendrick Lamarer, let me see if I can find it. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:34:57 And then you pull up his albums. What albums came after 2019? The Black Panther music soundtrack, Mr. Morale and the Big Steppers, and of course, GNX. So when you look at this official set list that has majority of the songs from, the past two albums as far as what we'd have bodies squabble up euphoria man at the garden peekaboo luther not like us tv off that's eight songs out of your what was it 11 on here that's eight out of eleven from your past two projects why would that be the case ladies and gentlemen kendricks fake ties to tede has to be highlighted this man obviously is looking out for himself as the only tracks he wants to be
Starting point is 01:35:45 on the biggest stage possible for him and you only get one chance to headline the Super Bowl right obviously Kendrick's been there twice with dr dr dr dray but that was like a cameo this is a headline performance for the Super Bowl you only get one and he chose that performance or he chose that opportunity to primarily promote the projects under his label pg lane now obviously from a marketing standpoint from a logical sense that doesn't that's not too bad right that's not too shabby promote yourself at all costs if you own majority of the percentages as far as the project that these tracks are on. That doesn't stop me from telling you that this is one of the worst Super Bowl halftown performances I've ever seen.
Starting point is 01:36:26 I don't care what type of beef you have with TDE post 2019. Perform good kid Matt City. Perform damn. Perform all of these albums that we've come to love that basically cemented you as one of the greatest rappers of all time. Your beef with TDE set to the side. There's no reason to completely disregard your entire discography because you're beefing with TDE, aka Top Dog Entertainment. You split from TDE back in 2019 and now all of the tracks, majority of the tracks in your Super Bowl halftime performance is under PG Lane. From a business move specifically to you, obviously it makes sense
Starting point is 01:37:08 from an overall masses point of view. This is one of the worst shows. we've ever seen at the Super Bowl. And I'm standing on it because this is just unforgivable for a rapper to have this amount of arrogance to think that the past two projects are so good that he can have a majority of his tracks for a Super Bowl halftime performance.
Starting point is 01:37:30 Y'all don't understand. This is what you bring out your hits. Forget a versus. This is where you bring out your top-tier tracks to let people know that you are never to be played with as a musician because you gave the masses, these tracks all, well, throughout all
Starting point is 01:37:46 these years, right? Anyways, all let me get into why I think this set list is trash, right? Because we're going to get into why no, we're going to get into my set list. So basically, I put together a little Super Bowl halftime show set list based off the fact that even though I'm a Drake's fan, right?
Starting point is 01:38:04 I'm a huge Drake fan and Drake's my favorite rapper. It's still that way. And still, you're actually, let's pull this up right quick. Technically, he's still y'all favorite rapper too, because if you think about it, not even think about it, objectively speaking, Drake, actually, hold on, how do I go to this post? Can I go to this post? There you go. Objectively speaking, Drake is the first rapper in 2025 to hit one billion streams on Spotify less than a month. I thought y'all didn't like them. Hold up. What am I full screen at? Because all this cap has to be addressed. Y'all have to stop fake hating. If you love somebody, just let it be known. All this fake hate for somebody you're supporting. more than any other rapper and you're calling him a PDF but you're still supporting him do the two correlate? Like I don't understand
Starting point is 01:38:50 R. Kelly's in prison. Drake is the most string rapper in the world and y'all are calling this man a pedophile. All right, anyways, let me get back to my set list. I just want to point out that hypocrisy because sometimes subjective facts don't get through to people so I just try to show more of them and just hope it at some point it just makes sense to him. So with that being said,
Starting point is 01:39:08 Drake is still the most stream rapper in the world. crazy how that works out right whole world is screaming he's a PDF but at the same point objectively speaking i keep saying objectively because there's no subjective factor in his streams umg hates him the whole industry hates him lucian grange versus high-fiving with dr drake when kendrick lamar won five awards for one tracks that was calling him a PDF and guess what drake is still the most stream rapper in the world anyways so my uh my proposed set list for kensik lamar as far as a super bowl halftime show obviously I think Kendrick should have doubled down on his hatred for Drake because that's why you're here.
Starting point is 01:39:48 My brother, you would not have even been given this opportunity. People are still upset at Little Wayne. And that's Little Wayne. No disrespect to Little Wayne. But as far as on a performance, you know how in my career on 2K, you have your different sliders and things of that nature? Lyrically, Little Wayne is out of this world. Freestyle ability out of this world.
Starting point is 01:40:07 Song making out of this world. When it comes to performing, man, I could probably name five rappers from my hood that performs better than Little Wayne. I ain't a lot to you, bro. Little Wayne is one of the worst performers in hip hop history. People was upset that Little Wayne got snub for you. So why are you coming with this type of set list that just reinvigorates the Little Wayne fans out there that said that he should have this Louisiana, mind you? This Louisiana Super Bowl halftime performance instead of you. He really didn't do a good job as far as just silencing the haters.
Starting point is 01:40:41 Anyways, this is my, okay, now we're going to officially get into my proposed halftime show set list. I keep, I keep teasing it. So, analytic dreams video on Spotify to see the video along with audio if you want to see me go through the set list. So basically, I'm like double down on the hate. That's the only reason you're here. That's the only reason they gave it to you. So double down on it, right? I have not like us three times in my set list.
Starting point is 01:41:01 Yes, ladies and gentlemen, three times you perform in this track till you can't even fathom a minor. Right. Anyways, so that I like us is going to be the intro, right? From minute 33 to minute 41, right? I didn't really, the 15 minutes, if it like goes over or under, I didn't really like take that into account. I was basically just showcasing my set list and just letting y'all do with that with y'all like will. I took one song off because I'm bringing out a guess.
Starting point is 01:41:28 I feel like that takes up more time. But you do have to keep in mind. These artists only have 15 minutes. They're not getting paid. They have to put together the whole set, things of that nature. but that does not take away from the fact that you get to pick your set list right if you perform not like us oh all the tracks are on the table if they're just basically telling you to censor all the tracks are on the table so basically for my kentrick glomar super bowl halftime set list i would
Starting point is 01:41:50 have had him perform not like us obviously one minute and 33 to 1 minute and 41 for the intro i would have had him perform go right from that into his verse for like that because literally not like us showed us that he was like that isn't that a easy connection to make or am i tripping so anyways i would have had him go from that to like that as far as his verse and of course you got to give the people what they want as far as your popular tracks so now i still to this day don't understand how this track missed his entire set list but mad city i would have had him perform that and the whole crowd would have went crazy y'all know how pivotal how cultural mad city is like i think some people aren't even real Kendrick fans am i more of a kendrick fan the kentrick fans food for thought so
Starting point is 01:42:36 anyways then of course we're sticking with the popularity so we're going to go from mad city to humble because of course that's one of the more pivotal tracks for kendrick's career and then this is where you get to the overall pop section of the performance as you're going to bring out baby keem i don't know what baby keem did to kendrick i don't know if you walked by kendry and told him hey bro i ain't gonna lie he got you with push-ups i don't know if he said something like that i don't know if you walked into his closet to check to see if he had an actual size seven but baby king did something to Kendrick to the point where now you're not going to perform at all with me at the super bowl y'all know that when mr morrow and the big steppers came out he couldn't stop performing
Starting point is 01:43:18 with baby kean baby kean was all was with him running you if you ever seen a baby keem and kendrick lamar performance they over there want running in circles on that stage they run in circles chasing each other like they playing duck duck goose on the stage right but when it comes to the super bowl baby keem is nowhere to be found and that's his blood cousin i kid you not that's b that's kentz klemore's blood cousin so he completely kicked baby kem out of his official set list but as far as for mine you know i mean i try to look out for baby keem because i think he's a phenomenal artist like his um album that he put out to this day i still has one of my favorite albums of that particular year as far as the one where he's, let's see, her baby shark popped up, that's funny.
Starting point is 01:43:59 The melodic blue from Baby Kim back in October 28, 2022. I still think that's one of the best albums of 2022 of 2022 from a hip-hop and R&B perspective. So why he's missing from this entire set list, I have no idea. But of course, I wanted to include him on Family Ties. So this is more of the pop section where you're bringing out people. So I would have brought Baby Kim out for Family Ties. Stadium would have went crazy. I think people forget how great of a track.
Starting point is 01:44:26 family tazes anyways and keep in mind baby keem is his blood cousin uh blood cousin anyways uh with that being said pray for me now of course with the weekend just putting out an album selling i think he sold like 490 some thousand like it was something insane like i looked at that number and had to do a double take i had to take off my glasses i was like hold on now ain't no way that that's a 490 000 the biggest week for any album since taylor swift the torture post department ladies and gentlemen the weekends one the biggest artist on planet earth. So why not bring him out when it seems y'all have a mutual enemy as far as the Canadian Drake? Well, the weekend's Canadian too. Does Kendrick have a Canadian beef? Food for thought. So anyways, obviously, I'm joking with that one. Because I think
Starting point is 01:45:12 Kendrick and the weekend are cool, but it just makes all the sense in the world to bring him out for all the stars performance. Like, is he doing anything right now? Don't he have an album to promote? Why would he not show his face at the Super Bowl halftime show? Anyways, so I would have brought out the weekend for pray for me because i still think pray for me is one of the greatest songs created of all time and then following that with what i think is one of the greatest songs created of all time like both of those pray for me and all the stars i think it's some of the best music kendrick has ever made and obviously it's with the weekend of scissor but you know i'm still giving him his credit technically so i would have from pray for me bringing out the weekend into
Starting point is 01:45:48 siza uh with all the stars and technically i have 10 tracks and the fisher's set this has 11 i took one off of my set list because of you bringing out these features, giving them a spotlight. So I think that will have to take off an extra track because of the time, right? But if I was to max it out to put 11, I would have put 30 for 30 because if you don't know, 30 for 30 is currently the 20th most played track in the world right now. Obviously, it's off of a scissors album or deluxe album, Elena, but 30 for 30 also has Kendrick on it. So why not perform that if you're trying to keep it. it makes sense even for his official set list.
Starting point is 01:46:28 If you're trying to keep it recent, why are you so selfish to only include Cesar tracks from your own project? 30 for 30 is a hit. And it's more of a hit than Luther. It's more of a hit than... What was the other... Oh, it's not more of a hit than all the stars.
Starting point is 01:46:41 But it's more of a hit than Luther. And what's the other track? What was it? Gloria or something? I think it was Gloria. There's two tracks that Kendrick had with Cizzo. It's Gloria. Yeah, it's Gloria. So Gloria and Luther, obviously, he chose Luther.
Starting point is 01:46:54 for his official set list. 30 for 30 is a better song than both of those, in my opinion. And whenever I'm looking at it, it has me thinking, why does Kendrick consistently keeps choosing tracks from his previous work? And then when it comes to the whole TDE split back in 2019 for him to build his own label as PG-Lane and makes sense while all the music before 2019 was just completely disregarded in this performance because he wants it. What is it?
Starting point is 01:47:19 He really did. Like, as far as man at the garden, he really believes that. Like, I deserve it. all, which I ain't mad at them. If you one of the greatest rappers to ever do it, arguably the greatest rapper of all time, I'm not mad that you feeling like that. But on the other hand, I get to point out the quality level has dipped a lot because you chose to only choose your recent tracks. So it's definitely twofold. It's not as black and white as people like to think. So anyways, 30 for 30. That would have been my honorable mention if I was to make my set list
Starting point is 01:47:50 11 but because I'm bringing out baby keem in the weekend I have it as 10 to you know make up for the time so anyways all the stars bring out scissors of course one of the greatest tracks of all time and then we get into what the people came for y'all would be lying to yourself if you think kensrick would have won five awards for one track if he didn't call drake a pedophile there's no other track kendrick could have put out in his life that would have gave him record and song of the year I want to let y'all know this is a match made in heaven. Drake beefing with UMG, The Weekend, Future, Metro, Rick Ross, who else was beefing with, Jay Z, LeBron, and then Kendrick coming to the mix as the hip hop savior.
Starting point is 01:48:36 And guess what? Just so happens to end up being the second hip hop artist ever to win the overall record of the year at the Grammys. Oh, and Song of the Year. I didn't even think about that. song of the year at the Grammys, which record, what's the difference? A record is more of the production side of things. So it's more of a producer award. Song is more of a songwriter award.
Starting point is 01:49:00 Those are the differences. Record is more producer, things of that nature, things that go behind in the background. Song is more of the actual songwriters. That's what it's been detailed to me as far as the difference. What was I going with that? Oh, yeah. So now we got to the point where everybody knows what you are here for. and now you give them what they want.
Starting point is 01:49:21 Not Like Us has to ring off. I'm not saying the entire track, of course, but it has to ring off for a good portion of my set list. I ain't going to lie. You got 15 minutes. You performing that whole Not Like Us song. How long is Not Like Us? Not Like Us is 4 minutes and 34 seconds.
Starting point is 01:49:38 We're going to extend that to five minutes because of the edits, the cuts. We're going to cut out, come back in, cut out again, come back in. So that's at least five minutes wiped off the set list. So you got 10 minutes to perform them other tracks. Five minutes is dedicated strictly to that Canadian that you called a certified lover boy certified So anyways not like us he's gonna perform it and then I like the way he went if I like the way he went from a not like us to TV off That's probably the only one that I would keep as far as the recent tracks because uh TV off makes so much sense as far as it being the outro
Starting point is 01:50:10 He's got he's watched this performance if y'all don't think Drake has watched this performance you're fooling like you just lying to yourself Drake has watched this maybe 20 million times. It reminds me of the NWA movie when Ice Cube put out no Vaseline and his label mates was listening to the radio or something like that. That's how Drake was watching the TV when Kendrick was performing, not like us on the Super Bowl halftime show. He was looking at that TV as he was telling him to turn the TV off. That's why I would keep that as far as my official tracklist. But then, right when he does that, turn the TV off and then the game over, that's what I'm saying.
Starting point is 01:50:44 I'm a Drake fair, but I wanted him to demolish Drake, like stand on what you was saying towards that man. That's all I want. So anyways, I would have came back and performed not like us for a third time. Yes, ladies and gentlemen, I am cripp walking on Drake's grave. Yes, Kendrick Lamar falsely accused that man to being a PDF. I am doubling back again, and I'm ending the show would not like us. And specifically, the minute and 43 seconds to two minutes and 28th, when he ends. with how many do I really got in stock
Starting point is 01:51:16 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 plus and then I went to end it right there and then walked up. It would have been like an encore, like we would have been insane. It would have been insane. Like, do they need to hire me? Like, am I tripping?
Starting point is 01:51:27 Is this a bad set list? Hold up, let me put this full screen now. So looking at my set list, compared to their set list, which one of y'all thinks better? Like, with that being said, let me see if there's anything I miss. Essentially, Kendrick is seemingly done
Starting point is 01:51:41 with his victory lap. We don't know what's next for him. I mean, obviously we do. He's going on tour with his scissor. With that being said, he's still doing well on the charts. He has GNX is still the fourth most play album in the world. Good Kid Madsidias, the 28th most play album in the world.
Starting point is 01:51:57 Imagine people pushing up Good Kid Mads City in listenership just for you to not perform any tracks off of that album. I think, honestly speaking, I think that was the biggest opportunity, which is why I'm calling it's one of the worst Super Bowl halftime show performances of all time because you simply did not give to people what they wanted. Good Kid Mad City came out. Let me see. Good Kid, Mad City.
Starting point is 01:52:19 Oh, wow, that makes me feel old. 2012? That's insane. January 1st, out of all dates. Oh, that's a deluxe edition. Let's go to the actual Good Kid, Man City. Okay, I still says January 1st. We're in the world?
Starting point is 01:52:30 He put this out. No way he put this out when a year changed. This man is arrogant. I ain't a lot. He may be the goat, man. He just, he do not care. He drops the album whenever he feels like it. Because January 1st is a crazy release date.
Starting point is 01:52:42 But anyways, January 1st, 2012. A Good Kid Mad City came out. 2025 and February. Good Kid Matt City is the 28th most played track in the world currently, and you didn't play any tracks off of that album. Kendrick and whoever PG-Lang team members are, you played yourself. I don't care what beef you have with TDE as far as back in 2019. Super Bowl halftime show, you get one chance to headline, and you chose not to perform any
Starting point is 01:53:09 tracks from Good Kid Mad City, which is why I'm calling this one of the worst Super Bowl halftime performances of all time and then you have damn that's the 35th most play album in the world um Kendra currently has eight tracks on the charts let me see seven tracks on the charts he has luther that's a fourth oh wow fourth most played track on the charts uh been on the wow fourth in the world i didn't know that okay so luther is the fourth most played track in the world 10 tracks on the uh tv off is the 11th most played track on the charts uh it's been 10 weeks on the charts 30 for 30 is the 20th most play track, which is Kendrick's third most popular song in the world currently. Squabble Up is the 23rd most played track in the world. Not Like Us is the 29th most played track in the
Starting point is 01:53:56 world. Picaboo is the 76 most played track in the world. Hey Now is the 88th most play track in the world. And then yeah, that's his lowest. So his seventh track on the Billboard Hot 100 is Hey Now and the lowest he is at is 88th most play track in the world. But his highest is of course Luther with it being the fourth most play track in the world that is a very successful track it's definitely going to have a lot of grammy sent kendrick and scissors way for that track so um i know it's basically it so yeah so looking at my uh hold let's go back to it let me see if i can so going back to my set list right if you're looking at my set list right now i already you know broke it down you know analytic dreams video on spot if i see the video along with the audio i basically
Starting point is 01:54:37 broke it down i'll let you know why i believe this set list would have been better for from an overall performance standpoint. But from the standpoint that you're beefing with TDE, going back from going back to 2019, and you basically started PG Lane because, of course, Anthony Top Dog, Tiff, the CEO of TD, was not just going to let you, like, leave on your own. So of course, you had to beef a little bit.
Starting point is 01:54:59 And then the final TD album came in the way of Mr. Morrill and the Big Steppers in May 2022. So then PG Lang was launched by, oh, PG-Lang was launched by, oh, PG-Lang was launched in 2020 and his last album off TDE was in 2022. What does that tell y'all? That tell y'all that he was beefing in the midst of creating his own. He was beefing with Anthony Top Dog Tiff in the midst of making his own music label.
Starting point is 01:55:25 So, yeah, but that being said, from that standpoint, his official tracklist makes sense. Forget all the music that TDE owns were only promoting the tracks from the albums that I majority own under P.G. lane. From that standpoint, it makes sense. From an enjoyment standpoint, it makes zero sense. To the point where now, it's unfortunate because I wanted to come in and basically give Kendrick's flowers. But looking back at the track list, looking back at the performing. I watched this performance like five, six, seven, eight times. It just was a very obvious missed opportunity to perform some of your classics in your discography. And really just a disservice to your fans, honestly. And that's why I think it just makes it one of the worst Super Bowl.
Starting point is 01:56:10 halftime shows of all time. With that being said, click my link to your in my bio. Let me know what are my social media is. What do you think about Kendrick Lamar's Super Bowl halftime show performance? And do you think the Super Bowl halftime show was trash? Do you think it was fire? And what song would you have wanted to be performed during his Super Bowl halftime performance? It's time to dive into Abel, Maconan Tesfay, aka the goat specifically as a vocalist because songmaking, as far as the process when it comes to Mike Dean and the weekend, I think they have an argument as being one of the better duos in music we've ever heard and seen. that being said, specifically focusing on vocalists, I have this little Instagram account Analytic Dreams video on Spotify to see the video along with the audio. But right now, ladies and gentlemen, I have my, you know, my little Instagram account of, you know, 22,000 followers. You know,
Starting point is 01:57:26 if you want to follow, it definitely would be much appreciated. You know, if you click my link tree in my bio, has all my social medias. But with that being said, my Instagram analytic underscore dreams had this very interesting snippet. that i put up of is the weekend well has the weekend surpass mj when it came to specifically vocal performance now of course that made people beyond irate as you could see in a comment section right here somebody said lm a yo i can't even count the number of oz you put that man was laughing his you know what off because this is a pg podcast anyways so photomills dot tv which I ain't going to lie to you.
Starting point is 01:58:07 If y'all click on his profile, God bless you, and you're welcome. So with that being said, his profession said to the side, I had to respond to him because basically he said, I listen further. Yes, you are on narcotics. I don't do drugs. Why do you say that? Anyways, Weekend isn't a better vocalist than MJ, let alone one of the best in history. So with that being said, I obviously had a reply because, you know, I felt like he was very sincere. So I was like, you know what, photo mills TV, not narcotics, LOL.
Starting point is 01:58:43 That's a new one. If we're only judging vocals, I think there's an argument for the weekend. Plus, if you've listened to them both live, they're not that different. Look at analytics coming with objective takes. You know what I'm saying? Like, if you listen to the weekend live and MJ live, it's not too much of a difference. It's the reason why MJ's estate lets him reuse samples of a thriller and lets him cover certain tracks when he's live.
Starting point is 01:59:10 But you know, that's besides a point. Let's get back into it. Right. And of course I said, by the way, side note, you may have one of the better professions in life. And I definitely sincerely meant that. If y'all click his profile,
Starting point is 01:59:21 God bless you and you're welcome. So that being said, photo meals respond and said, ha, ha, ha, ha. Thanks, my G. But yeah, MJ was different. And at a young age. Hmm?
Starting point is 01:59:33 I'd fly. I'd fly. Weekend is great. Don't get me wrong. but not touching mic weekend falsetto a little better but that's it overall it's mj so that being said of course he was very passionate i was very passionate one of my um i've really enjoyed this interaction i enjoy anybody who engaged with my content whether it's hate whether it's to say you know i'm glazing drake goblin drake you know all that stuff is all engagement for me because i stand on
Starting point is 02:00:04 what i say i'm not just out here just talking out my you know what i have actual points that is not just political talking points. Like if you ask me, I'm going to back it up because I actually leave it. You know what I'm saying? So anyways, with that been said, obviously you see people in the comments section going crazy. It's like, you must be high.
Starting point is 02:00:19 Not a weekend and MJ are not the same. That's the craziest thing ever. He's on the spectrum for sure. And then guess what? This is one of my favorite interactions because that guy who said I was on the spectrum, right? Shout out to all my people on the spectrum. Anyways, I responded to him and said,
Starting point is 02:00:35 I think the weekend plus Mike Dean is the best vocal and production we've ever heard in a while. So obviously, I double down. I don't fall back. So that man said, he responded with that saying, can I be honest? Because now he's like, oh, he actually believes in this point. He's like, can I be honest before I say my piece?
Starting point is 02:00:54 I have not listened to his latest album. And Mike D just has this sound that makes the artist sound out of this world. So I partly agree. But I've got a few duos I place higher. So he says he partly agree. After saying I was on the spectrum, does that mean that we on the spectrum? My brother, join me. We can all be on the spectrum together.
Starting point is 02:01:16 Now, all jokes aside, obviously, it was a pretty good back and forth. I basically responded to that saying, definitely got to listen to hurry up tomorrow. They even sample MJ's thriller in the opening track, another objective W take from analytic dreams. But my fault, I'm glazing myself. How is that even possible? So anyways, yeah, follow my Instagram if you want to see snippets like that because people be going crazy over my takes. So with that being saying, the weekend and his album, hurry up tomorrow, just sold 490,000 units. Yes, ladies and gentlemen, 490,000, which unequivocally makes him the, well, gives him the most popular album in the world currently.
Starting point is 02:01:56 It's not even close. The second close is Bad Bunny that sold 97,000 with his album that's been out for like, I think like, 4.5.5. five weeks at this point actually let me see how long is bad bunnies album been out i'm just gonna look at the tracks he has on the charts i think it's been out for four weeks so that's his fourth week a number so i'm not like comparing the weekend to bad bunny like numbers wise i'm just talking about how bad bunny still has the second most play album in his fourth week this is the weekend's first week sales so obviously he's going to drop but to still put up this number of 490 000 which is the biggest week for any album since Taylor Swift's
Starting point is 02:02:37 the tortured poets department. So very huge accomplishment. And the largest R&B slash hip hop album debut since Travis Scott's Utopia for 196,000 that happened August 2023. Now, this is what I say about that. The weekend makes some of the greatest music I've ever heard in life,
Starting point is 02:03:01 which is why I stand by my point of maybe vocally specifically vocally we're not talking about performances we're not talking about songmaking ability specifically vocally i think the weekend may have surpassed mj for the simple fact that he has mastered the way that vocals come across over a beat so that being said obviously you all know i enjoyed the weekend's music let's get into that actual breakdown of the for the whopping 490,000 first week sales so 359,000 of those were pure album sales as far as him having a number well he already had number one already said that so 359 000 of those were pure album sales meaning people buy physical copies of hurry up tomorrow whether it was the vinyl editions
Starting point is 02:03:49 whether it was the actual uh digital copy on iTunes I think they allow uh purchases to download things of that nature so on the streaming side of things it gets a little interesting i ain't a lot to you i'm not going to pull the drake and say that people are fudging the numbers all i'm going to say is 359000 of that 490 000 came from actual purchases which one can say that means you have a huge fan base or one could say you have a very powerful label that you're behind if you don't know the weekend is behind umg y y'all want to know um current market share with this album a whopping 64% of the entire
Starting point is 02:04:32 100% of the music market share Sony has 19% of the music market share Warner has 14% and the others have 3%. So if your UMG the weekend is currently your top dog as far as a performer on the charts which definitely tells me that they are sending a sign to
Starting point is 02:04:54 someone, another Canadian that's from Ontario, that we don't need you we could find three four artists that could basically combine to match or even surpass your numbers as if you look at the charts the weekend Kendrick and billy isle they are all under UMG currently have albums in the top five the weekend's number one of course Kendrick is number four and then Billy is number five and right outside of that you have Chappelle Rowan, Sabrina Carpenter, and Morgan Wallin, and Taylor Swift, and the weekend again with his out of the highlights project, and then Grace, y'all get the point, right? All of these artists are under
Starting point is 02:05:36 UMG. The top dogs at UMG are going insane to the point where Drake suing UMG looks worse and worse every 24 hours. This man going against UMG is one of the worst decisions I think he's ever made in his career. is simply put, it's as if LeBron suing Nike and then thinking he's going to have the same coverage as far as his next shoe deal, right? It's just
Starting point is 02:06:04 not the same. Nike is the one of one when it comes to athletic shoes as far as your specific brand being considered. So anyways, getting back into the weekend, just completely dominating on the numbers side of things. When it comes to quality level,
Starting point is 02:06:20 I've listened to this album 24 million times. When I listen to the weekend's album, I think ultimately, actually let me see, I think ultimately when it comes to the weekend, wake me up having a sample from MJ's thriller is one of the best intros I've ever heard for an album. Y'all going to hear that a lot. I think the highest praise I could ever give it our artist is to say it's one of the best of all time I've ever heard.
Starting point is 02:06:50 I say that a lot with the weekend. Why? because the quality, the perfection, the effort put into production via Mike Dean, via Justice. Even Metro came out to be on the drums. Remember when Drake told him to shut up and make some drums? And then he went to go make some drones for the weekends.
Starting point is 02:07:06 Oh, my fault. So he made some drones for the weekends album, right? So he's all over here on the project. But as far as Mike Dean and the weekend, they put together some of the greatest sounds we've ever heard in life. I'm going to keep reiterating that because I don't think you understand the attention to detail.
Starting point is 02:07:23 Like if y'all ever could just, if y'all ever have time of your day, I would just look up, if you care about music, I would look at Mike Dean interview. Or I would just look at Mike Dean's production live, right? These producers are meticulous with the way they put high hats,
Starting point is 02:07:42 A to ways, things of that nature together. Like, they be messing with stuff that you can even barely hear in the final product, but they are, very focused on that one change and then needing the sound maybe higher, maybe lower.
Starting point is 02:07:58 Like they're really specific on what they want to the point where it's almost like a perfectionist type of take on music. And now coming to this body of work hearing the way it sounds is very Kanye level production on this entire album. Now, of course, we're going to get to Kanye in a second. He's, he's walling. So, but we're going to get to him in a bit of a song. second but with that being said the weekend putting up these monumental numbers is not a coincidence
Starting point is 02:08:27 this album is phenomenal so anyways getting into the album i would say let me see if getting into the album once again analytic dreams video on spotify to see the video along with the audio because i currently have to track list up so this is a 22 track body of work really there's a lot of uh interludes throughout here like track three is interlude and wait what other you know lose well there's multiple win to lose i can't i don't know all of them but my favorite tracks is if i had to get my top five i probably say wake me up i really like that track i think that's a phenomenal intro to the track one of the things hurry up tomorrow i'm not going to lie it wasn't a standout to me i just wanted to point it out because i do feel like red terror would have been phenomenal if the
Starting point is 02:09:13 second half wasn't like some type of soliloquy with him like whispering in our ear i don't know why i just don't like that type of stuff like why are you whispering my ear i don't know maybe the girls like it, but I'm trying to hear music. I ain't trying to hear you whispering my ear. This ain't A-S-M-R. Anyways, the weekend and Travis Guy had this happen again as the middle was like a whole
Starting point is 02:09:33 entire skit. I hated it when Drake did it. I hated it when the weekend did it. Like, Drake for his album, for all the dogs, right, had a fire track with 21 Savage. Yeah, a fire track with 21 Savage. For some reason, in the middle of the
Starting point is 02:09:49 track, he just had a whole skit. some girl just going crazy about how she's mad at them. Like, I'm like, bro, this is a song, not a, not an audiobook. I'm not trying to hear this. Like, take it out. Like, to the point where I was like, I need, you know, for all my gamers out there, there's these things called, um, y'all know what update is, but these things called patches, like patch notes, right?
Starting point is 02:10:11 I need a patch for calling for you, cutting out that, that inalude entirely. Like, this is a song, not an audiobook. I don't care about whatever type of movie. be a venture you're trying to give me right now. Give me the song in its entirety and cut out the annoying vocals like his ASMR and give me the actual full track. So I hated it when Drake did it on calling for you with 21 Savage. I'm hating it when the weekend did it with Travis Scott as far as reflections laughing.
Starting point is 02:10:42 I don't know if it's a, I don't know if it's like a business decision. Like maybe they don't want to like let their artists think they're bigger than what they are by having one of their tracks together be the most popular. Like, I don't know why you would even, uh, just corrupt a track like that, just sabotage a track by putting a long interlude in the middle. Like as far as the first time, it's cool, but second, third, four, fifth, millionth time is like, bro,
Starting point is 02:11:08 I've heard this a million times. We're trying to hear the song. So anyways, that's not one of my favorites, but it would have been if he would have took that out. So I'll say, wake me up is my, uh, as one of them. Red Terror is another track It's one of my standouts
Starting point is 02:11:22 Let me see My favorite track off of the album Is Enjoy the show By The Weekend Future I think the weekend and future Have some great chemistry It's showcased on Both of his
Starting point is 02:11:37 Drake hate albums with Metro Boomin It's showcase on Future's Hendricks album That When did Hendricks come out When Future put out Hendrix I was like oh he's gonna be here forever because we we all thought that Hendrick was well we all like including me I thought Hendrix was I thought Future was just a one trick pony
Starting point is 02:11:58 pause but when he put out Hendrix back in July 27 2017 he really showcased how versatile he could get and at that point we were just like you know what we'll just listen to a trap music for you from the from for the rest of life because you didn't gave us an entire body of work 19 songs an hour of 16 minutes worth of use worth of like hits as far as R&B being considered so future show does he can switch it up with that
Starting point is 02:12:26 and the weekend was also on that album but um with that being said that that's what I think is the favorite I think enjoy the show by the weekend and future is the best track off of hurry up tomorrow where am I am I at three and then I'll probably say
Starting point is 02:12:42 what's another track this is another track I really like is it cry for me? I don't know if it's cry for me I think it's cry for me Cry for me is my other favorite track off of this album and then Niagara Falls it's hard to choose from this album
Starting point is 02:12:59 there's so many hits on this album I ain't know like to you but yeah so I'll probably choose wake me up cry for me enjoy the show Niagara Falls and then Red Terror
Starting point is 02:13:15 that's probably my top five yeah as far as listening to the album those are the standouts for me And what else? So as far as Grammy consideration, obviously he's up for the 2026 Grammy Award show because it falls within that eligibility period. He already had multiple vinyl releases for his albums,
Starting point is 02:13:34 CD variants, things that nature, cassette tapes, like he's really, obviously he already did it, but, you know, he was really pushing the physical copies. You know what I mean? So we're going to see, it's just funny how that comes into play, man. It's, uh,
Starting point is 02:13:48 490,000 first week sales, but 360 of them, 360,000 of them was, uh, physical copies. I'm not going to hate on anybody, because if you can sell something, I think that's a W in the cell.
Starting point is 02:14:02 People do not understand. I ain't a lot to you. Hold up. People don't understand how hard it is to sell just one of something. If you're selling something, hold up. Why am I so fuzzy?
Starting point is 02:14:16 If you're selling, something and it's basically we're going to do some live editing right quick as I'm recording I don't think this has ever happened in a history of time if if you can sell one of something that should be immensely respected because the way that people just completely disregard how hard it is to sell there we go I live editing on the scene and I'm not editing that out so anyways people don't understand how hard it is to just sell one of something I don't care what it is. To get somebody to purchase one thing from you is harder than the 50 million thing or the 100 thing, like just to get one because most people always hold themselves back when it comes to whatever their ideas are.
Starting point is 02:15:06 So if you're giving that to the masses for the first time, that's the hardest obstacle that you will have to overcome. Obviously, there's very hard obstacles after that. But I think that's the hardest. It's just getting started. reason why I say that is because all of these artists like Nikki said now I hear selling shoes t-shirts hoodies and counting them as units for the album I still commend them because they got their audience to buy something if you have the influence to have somebody buy 200,000 of your merch I'm not talking about no polo no Nike because that's cheating right if you
Starting point is 02:15:44 have Nike shoes along with your album and then now you're album sales through the roof like we already know that they're going for Nike I'm talking about if you have your own merch like your face your name your own merch yeah y'all know what I'm saying not Nike not polo not all these other conglomerates if you have your own face your own name and you're selling merch and your audience is buying it I still respect that just as much as I respect people streaming your music or purchasing your music so the weekend having 359000 pure album sales out of his 490,000 first week sales don't hate the player hate the game i guess so that means that it's really not too much to get into i mean the weekend's just one of the biggest artists in life
Starting point is 02:16:29 i mean it's it's it's not too much to deep dive other than that right and um um um um um um um um um um um um um um um youmg they are literally stacked right now when it comes to artists on top of the game as far as the music industry they have 64 percent of the music market share which One would call them, some would call that a monopoly, but hey, I'm just going to say, don't hate the player, hate the game, right? So UMG has 64% of the music market share, and it used to be around like 48, 49%. That is the influence, I think, from the weekend coming in, just putting up these phenomenal numbers, but also putting out one of the greater albums of 2025. Currently, this is my favorite album of 2025.
Starting point is 02:17:14 Now, obviously, only two months in is definitely unchanged. I'm just saying currently it's my favorite album of 2025. And with that being said, click my link to share in my bio. Let me know on one of my social medias. What do you think about the weekend's album, Hurry Up Tomorrow? And it's selling 490,000 first week sales. And what is your favorite song from Hurry Up Tomorrow? Ah, the great Kanye West is back at it again.
Starting point is 02:17:46 And ladies and gentlemen, we are not covering a single tweet from it. Because when I tell you that this man was blatantly saying all the ways to get canceled in the form of a tweet, this is undeniably one of the worst instances ever to be a Kanye West fans. And to be honest, if you was a Kanye West fan, there's a lot of other reasons, a lot of other instances where you should have stopped probably saying you were a Kanye fan because the things that represent Kanye now as far as what he consistently spews as far as the anti-Semitic rhetoric could really bring harm to you if you co-sign it and that's why I'm going to leave it at because of course we don't want to get into slavery versus the Holocaust but even people
Starting point is 02:18:40 comparing those to horrific instances should make you think why do people why are people so opposed to somebody speaking out against a certain group of people. It's almost like it's because it created one of the most horrific events of all time. So anyways, because Kanye West just blatantly came out and just co-sign that saying, you know, he's going to promote like all type of Hitler merch and things of that nature. It was very unsettling for a lot of people to the point where not only was an unsettling to the masses, Todd Dahlia sign, which seems like he was just in it for the bag. like he was making all type of music with conier right tada dallas sign even came out and he basically said
Starting point is 02:19:21 let me see if i can find this so tie dollar sign came out and posted on instagram denouncing all forms of hate speech hold up i'm on his instagram right now i did not see that let me go to the story is this story um see who is that that's dennis robin okay i'm on todd dallas sign story and the only thing i'm seeing is a reel with the wheels fall off So I guess he may have just posted it on his story. Maybe it went away or that's what I think it is. I remember seeing it on Twitter and he was basically denouncing all hate speech because, of course, what Kanye was saying. I mean, you just have to denounce.
Starting point is 02:19:59 I mean, the things that Kanye was saying, I don't lie to you, is very, very ignorant. It's ignorance at his finest. I try to see if I can find it. Okay. So Todd Dalla San, Kanye West, they have all type of tracks. like that i'm trying to see tada dala sign has removed all references to ys and slash coneya from his iG after posting this message last night okay so it was a story he says i do not condone any forms of hate speech now ladies and gentlemen i'm so glad that tada ala san was able to speak up like this
Starting point is 02:20:38 because it seems like everybody with uh conier west which is just like a what's the opposite of a disciple which is like a follower. It's like a, it's like a cult like following and they just go along with whatever he says. So I'm, I'm glad to see some sort of unique human perspective from somebody in Kanye's camp. Because do you believe that, what's his name, Justin LaBoy, the guy who keeps getting exclusive interviews from Kanye because he's trying to make him the next academics, I don't know if y'all noticed that, but I haven't heard him speak out about this. Maybe I'm true, I mean, maybe I'm incorrect, but I haven't seen Justin LaBoy come out and say anything about what Kanye's been saying. And with that being said, I think the reason why Kanye's cult-like fan base is so loud as far as volume is because we give attention to it.
Starting point is 02:21:31 So I think ignoring it is the best course of action, which is why, if you notice, it took me a while to cover this because I wanted to cover something that condemned it in a way of personally to him. Also, that's the only way you really stop these creators is when you stop their, uh, partnerships because the main thing about hate speech is if you give revenue incentives to somebody spewing this type of nonsensical rhetoric, they're going to continue to do it. So one of the things I wanted to show was also, uh, Shopify, Shopify banned yay through Yeezy.com from selling on their e-commerce platform. how in the world do you get banned on Shopify? Ladies and gentlemen, this is a next, this is next level, not even canceled.
Starting point is 02:22:21 This is just next level ignorance that's ending up backfiring on him because, of course, he thinks he doesn't have any consequences because he made graduation. And the public, we have to stop that too. This man comes out and says the most egregious things possible. And we, under the comments basically saying, he made great. graduation, but he made graduation with like little memes talking about like defending somebody else. It's very interesting how that sentiment comes up again and again and again. But this whole thing of Kanye's outbursts and outcry should be us literally sending him links to either therapy,
Starting point is 02:23:06 sending him links to his local hospital, sending him links to the local psychiatrist. like we need things that will mentally help Kanye because at this point he is acting like he can say whatever he wants and there's no ramification. One thing in life that you should always know is that there's always a cause and there's always an effect, which seems simple and cliche until you realize it's happening every hour on the hour as far as your entire life. So what Kanye taking these actions of anti-Semitic rhetoric and amongst other things, again and again and again, is him causing these type of reactions via Shopify dropping him, via Todd Dahlissan speaking out, his supposed music coworker currently cooking up Votches 3 or whatever, bully, something like that. So now it's just unfortunate to the point where now we just may have to stop covering Kanye West entirely. as influencers because of Kanye West consistently only doing this to sell a product. If Adidas was enough, if Shopify wasn't enough, if his music label, if his talent agency, his talent agency, I'm not going to make this too long, but his talent agency.
Starting point is 02:24:28 Let me see. So Kanye West has just been dropped from his talent agency, which was announced by Daniel McCartney on Instagram. he said, effective immediately, I am no longer representing Kanye West due to his recent harmful and hateful
Starting point is 02:24:44 remarks that myself, Nor 33 and West can stand for. Peace and love to all. These are the type of action that needs to happen whenever we get these hate rants
Starting point is 02:24:56 from Kanye. Because at this point, he's doing it to sell product. If we take the product or take the tool to sell product away from him, hopefully he'll, it's kind of like
Starting point is 02:25:05 when you go to prison and they take away your freedom. it's making you look at your actions and figuring out why am I in this situation. Hopefully it's for the better for Kanye West. So anyways, let me get off my soapbox. With that being said, click my link to my bio. Let me know one of my social medias. What do you think about Kanye West and Todd DollarSign coming out to speak out about his hate speech?
Starting point is 02:25:30 And the main thing, as far as this being titled, the unreleased track, Wheels Fall Off. It's basically just talking about the latest track for. for Kanye West and Todd Dollar Sign playing for the Tycoon album. So that's why I titled it the way I titled it. But anyways, click my link to my bio. Let me know in one of my social media. What do you think about Kanye West? She's just completely crashing out verbally.
Starting point is 02:25:51 And what do you think will be the ultimate conclusion of these hate speech type rants? Now, sometimes in life you doubt the people who you put on top and they prove you wrong. As when it comes to my projections for Drake and Party Next Door's album, some sexy songs for you, obviously, I was wrong, as I thought this would end up being his worst selling project of all time. For the simple fact that the lawsuit for UMG is still going on till this day, Drake is still suing UMG over defamation for Kendrick Lamar's song, not like us. But all the smoke and mirrors that Spotify and UMG were playing. playing and did not stop some sexy songs for you from coming number one as officially it sold
Starting point is 02:26:48 248,000 first week units and it ended up being the number one most play album in the world i predicted that Sabrina carpenter's deluxe edition was going to come number one and let's just say it wasn't even close Sabrina carpenter's deluxe edition came in at 159,000 first week and of course Kendrick Lamar's GNX that was 137,000 um and that album's been out for a while but basically GNX was the third most play album in the world so when it comes to UMG artist Drake still showed that he is unequivocally the top dog in the music industry no pun intended so with 248,000 units sold as far as having the most popular album in the world humongous accomplishment.
Starting point is 02:27:43 And it just goes to show how even if you are blackballed in the music industry, as far as UMG and Spotify, doing all the tricks in the world to try to keep you from that number one slot, having Sabrina Carpenter drop her a deluxe edition, having Kendrick Lamar and his GNX album just being reinvigorated due to the Super Bowl performance, which is not more on UMG. That's really more Kendrick than anything. because if you don't know Kendrick currently has about
Starting point is 02:28:13 15 no 14 tracks on the charts right now no he has 13 all right so he has 13 tracks on the top one on the billboard hop 100 right now and when it comes to Drake I don't see any tracks currently on the charts but when it comes to projections
Starting point is 02:28:31 dated for March 1st give me a hug it's set to be his most popular track off of the album by far it's set to be when it's not not by far but it's set to be the seventh most played track in the world and then you have nokea which of course you know what i'm at to start giving my credit from me pointing out what it's going to be the smash hit on these albums because as soon as i heard nokea off of that album i
Starting point is 02:28:57 basically said to myself hey this is a hit i was like hey self who's calling your phone like that track was phenomenal and then the beat switch to the whole baby girl uh some song let me see you twirl something like that that was fire and then the way that Drake came back on all you need to know is that that track is beyond phenomenal so that being said uh give me a Nokia is set to be the 10th most play track in the world being the second most popular off of Drake's album then you have CN Tower being projected to be the 18th most played track you have died trying set to be the 19th most play track and then of course you have something about you which is set to be the 28th most popular track.
Starting point is 02:29:42 Mothballs, somebody loved me, small town fame, Spider-Man Superman, Crying in Chanel, raining in Houston, Pimmie's Dilemma, Brian Still,
Starting point is 02:29:54 obviously you could tell Drake is going to have a lot of charts, a lot of tracks charting on a Billboard Hot 100, which just showcases once more that this man is the goat. But then, you know what I'm saying? I was like,
Starting point is 02:30:06 damn, look at the state of hip-hop. Like, what's going on? Every time I doubt Drake, as far as sales wise and projections, he ends up proving me wrong. But then, you know what I'm saying? I was like, damn, look at the state of hip hop. Like, what's going on? I'm out here thinking that because he turned into hip hop, karen, aka blue-collar snitch, that UMG was going to make this one of the worst
Starting point is 02:30:26 first week sales of his career. But I guess I was missed, I guess I just misspoke. But then, you know what I'm saying? I was like, damn, look at the state of hip hop, like, what's going on? All jokes aside, of course, getting into my second. third, fourth, and fiftieth million impression of this particular album. My top five songs haven't really changed too much. When it comes to party next door in Drake's album, it's phenomenal.
Starting point is 02:30:52 Every listen, I just gained more of an appreciation for the way they put melodies together. And I do believe this is more of a soft album because it's primarily R&B. And with that being said, I think is targeting more of the women. in the industry. As when it comes to my top five songs off of this album, I try to keep that mind as I was going through Drake's discography
Starting point is 02:31:19 with one of my friends. And basically, we noticed that Drake has never really given us a full R&B project. So this is technically our first one from Drake. So with that being said, I do believe Mothballs is one of my standouts off of the album.
Starting point is 02:31:37 I love Party Next chorus and the way he comes in, I feel like they added the own thing on the entire album. But of course, for Motha Balls, I feel like they was playing off each other phenomenally. So Motha Balls, give me a hug. Of course, is a standout to me. Nokia is a standout. Dot Trying is a standout to me. And somebody loves me as part of stand.
Starting point is 02:32:01 Those are my top five off of the album currently. But as far as verse and verses, that was. a standout track number 20 off of this album when he's gone when drake gets started with his verse i'm not going to lie to you that may be one of the greatest verses we've heard from drake in a long time from an rmb standpoint so that's definitely up there specifically for that of course when it comes to like actual quality and lyricism i think give me a hug is is the one with the most i I don't think it's like a lyricism type of track from like start to finish. But I think for the most part, that's where all the double, triple entendres are going to be found.
Starting point is 02:32:46 Because he's really keeping it simple as far as what he's trying to say. But as far as rapping, I would say, give me a hug is the best rap track on here. And then, of course, as far as my top five, the reason why I have it the way I do is because Nokia and Dodtriang is Drake, I think trying to get into his experimental bag. And I think it worked out. Like, of course, a lot of people are not feeling. the Mitra Padre which I definitely understand but when it comes to Nokia when it comes to Dot Trine I just think the experimental factor
Starting point is 02:33:14 help with the long album because if you have 21 tracks and you're not switching it up at all they can get pretty monotonous as far as the sound so Nokia dot trying I think are very pivotal tracks off of this album and when it comes to somebody loves me I like the way that Party and Drake was getting more into the R&B back to the point where I think from start to finish
Starting point is 02:33:39 is probably one of the better R&B tracks off of here, which is why it's in my top five. And of course, you have, give me a hug. I've already talked about that being a better rap track. And then Moth Balls, that was the most overlooked track for me on first listen. Listen to Moth Balls. You know, I was like, oh, it's cool. Let me keep going, right?
Starting point is 02:33:59 Listening back to Moth Balls time and time again, Pauls, basically they were going crazy to the point where they was playing off of each other and the way that party next door came in with his chorus when he's saying like when you're doing that thing the way he kept repeating that i'm not saying it's like revolutionary right i'm just saying i haven't really heard that too often in the chorus where you like repeat one line and the rnb space maybe um soundcloud like when low pump was yelling Gucci game but as far as party next door just repeating you're doing that thing you're doing that thing and as far as it being in the uh i don't know if that's more of the bridge or the chorus i think it's
Starting point is 02:34:38 more of the chorus but basically i like the way he came on because i felt like he was really playing along with the beat and of course we have to get into kensik lamar as this man made a resurgence on the charts to the point where not like us is still set to be the most popular track in the world do y'all not know not like us has been on their charts for about 40 weeks so this man kensering not only has 13 tracks on a billboard hot 100 but he's set to have yet another outing at number one with not like us now of course i guess i'm fine with that you know at the end of day i did say umg and spotify's playing smoking mirrors behind the scenes but drake still has the number one album we'll let kensrick had the number one song you know what i'm saying we'll let that slide
Starting point is 02:35:19 because interestingly enough i don't want to get in trouble with this when i first projected and assumed that this would be drake's worst selling album of all time i'm just going to say maybe there was a little message sent my way let's just let's just put it like that Because I don't like to, you know, reveal my sources, but I think it's very pivotal to have certain sources in the music industry to be able to give actual information to the consumer as far as them not being blindsided about what's to come, right? So whenever I'm talking about Drake and him being blackballed by UMG and Spotify, I didn't just make that up. They hate that man. The super mad that this man sued them, and not only sued them, sued them over a defamation loss. sued them over defamation for a rap battle he engaged in.
Starting point is 02:36:07 So they're pretty upset. They think he's throwing a hissy fit and that they're going to show him why they are the big dogs in the music industry. But just so happened, even though, you know, if you see any Spotify Apple music charts out there, they're very different. I wonder why. It's almost like, no, let me chill. So basically, I did get hit up about my projections and let's just say it was definitely.
Starting point is 02:36:33 right in me being wrong I was definitely wrong I thought he was going to have the worst sell some of the worst sales in his entire career but he ended up putting up monumental cells to the point where the only thing is you can look at this man just say he is absolutely the go to hip-hop but then you know what I'm saying I was like damn look at the state of hip-hop like what's going on like the mascot just the overall leader of the hip-hop john okay I'm my fault you ain't go too crazy so anyways um when it comes to if I could find this right quick. Oh yeah, I want you all here this right quick.
Starting point is 02:37:14 Every time I look at these first week sales, even though UMG and Spotify try to blackball him, analytic dreams over here saying it may be his worst first week sales ever, only for him to get his 14th consecutive number one album. All right, y'all get the point, right? So when it comes to the reception of the first week sales, I think it's very interesting because, of course, GNXO-319,000 first week for all the dogs,
Starting point is 02:37:55 sold 363,000 first week. So it's definitely a significant drop from that. But like I said, this man is being the hip-hop caring of blue collar snitch. UMG tried to showcase that you should probably not sue the label that puts you on top when it comes to consumption with the masses. So he ended up going against him. And this is a objectively speaking, this is a W. I think looking at this, it's very telling that Drake is a dominant force in a music game.
Starting point is 02:38:23 And it made me think of when Kanye went number one with his Voltures one release. And he was basically blackball way more to Drake because he was actually gone crazy, right? So with Kanye's crazy cancelable rants, he basically was dropped by all his brand deals, things of that nature. Even Adidas dropped him. So when it initially came out and basically they said that Voltures won sold 148,000, Units first week. I want you to compare that to Drake's. How much did Drake's? I want you to compare that to Drake's 248,000. These are what these two specific artists look like when their main label is against them.
Starting point is 02:39:10 And if you look at them outside of it, like for all the dogs when they was, you know, I think they was on the same team where all the dogs came out. But some people say even span back way farther than before for all the dogs came out. to the point where that's why red button is on for all the dogs before any of the metro kendrick stuff happened so they'd be in at odds but anyways um with that being said there's someone i was looking for the drake and so uh why don't even bring that up those oh yeah because for all the dogs so like 300 some thousand uh first week so comparing it to that you do know that it's a big drop off but at the same time drake is still the goat of
Starting point is 02:39:55 the hip-hop industry because not only is he upending or just overcoming the obstacles that Spotify UMG is putting his way, but he's also showcasing that even when he is blackballed from certain DSPs like Spotify, he would still show up and show out. So that being said, click my link to my bio. Let me know one of my social medias. What do you think about Drake and party next door selling 248,000 in first week sales for some sexy songs for you? And what is your biggest takeaway from this whole battle between Drake and UMG. Getting into PlayStation because of course they are currently winning the console landscape by landslide as when it comes to the PS5 outselling the Xbox Series X and S-4 to1, meaning for every
Starting point is 02:40:57 Xbox Series X sold, there are at least four PS5 sold. So by far, PlayStation is winning the console race. But when it comes to acquiring popular IPs, it seems like Microsoft has had the overall upper hand, and they've basically outplayed PlayStation when it comes to acquiring some of the more renowned, or publicly renowned IPs such as Activision when it comes to Call of Duty being on the Xbox game pass. But of course, that doesn't stop people from solely buying the PlayStation 5, 4 to 1 when it comes to the Xbox series X and X. So with that being said, the reason for this segment is getting into PlayStation's attempt to try to compete with Microsoft when it comes to acquiring IPs. And one of the rumors that went around in the gaming industry was finally confirmed from, I think it's title code.
Starting point is 02:41:56 I don't even know how to pronounce this. We had to get Jarvis delivered. Okay, so Cadocowa. I was definitely going to butcher that. Anyway, so as you heard, Cadocua, that's going to be a tongue twister for me. The parent company from software,
Starting point is 02:42:20 basically, they came out and confirmed that Sony was going to offer to acquire from software but did not due to the like overall evaluation. of Kodokua.
Starting point is 02:42:39 That's going to mess me up this entire time. So when it comes to that, when Sony was going to buy Kodokua, it was going to be entirely for $675 billion, which in, well, as far as their currency, but as far as the U.S. dollars, it was going to be $4.3 billion. So the high cost basically deterred Sony from acquiring Kodokua. So the reason why they would spend that much money on that specific company is because of them having from software under their umbrella as they have Eldon Ring, Armored Corps 6, Eldon Ring, Shadow of the Earth Tree, which all three of those games could have been just very pivotal if it was exclusively owned by PlayStation. Because if you don't know, Eldon Ring is probably one of the more innovative games that we've seen.
Starting point is 02:43:35 seen in the past two to three years now when it comes to armored core that was basically a continuation from software showcasing how they can jump into different genres and still develop high quality games as armored corps showed that it was definitely one of the better games to come out 2023 so not only did from software have had all that success from those particular games but also the d oc for out elton ring as far as shadow of the earth tree that came out last year ended up getting so much praise to the point where people were arguing arguing for it to be game of the year once more because it was already game in a year in 2022 but with the d lc people was trying to argue that it should also be game of the year um twice because of the d oc now of course it ended up winning game of the year because
Starting point is 02:44:24 if a d oc wins game of the year that sets a very interesting precedent going forward as if a phenomenal game comes out and then d oc comes out basically replicating the game and then d oc comes out basically replicating the game approving upon it should we just automatically lock in two years for every phenomenal game that comes out because of d oc winning game of the year i think not so that being said that is why sony was wanting to spend 4.3 billion on kodokka kodoka i'm still going to butcher that but sony and kodokua do plan to collaborate on live action adaptions of kodakua kodoka kodoka's ips i would have to to assume that would mean an Eldon Ring movie, which I don't know exactly how you would do an elder ring movie when the game is very pivotal when it comes to in captivating the masses,
Starting point is 02:45:19 but also diving into the game to the point where you're putting at least 100 plus hours into it. I don't know about y'all, but most movies are probably an hour and a half to three hours long and three hours is probably pushing it. So with that in mind, I don't know how they would actually do an elder ring. movie justice when it comes to adapting it from the video game format. But they also are wanting to collaborate on producing or co-producing anime
Starting point is 02:45:46 and expanding global distribution via Sony's Crunchy Row. And then publishing more Kodokuwa games and strengthening virtual production capabilities. So as far as acquiring them, that definitely fell flat because they probably didn't realize how much fatichini alfredo cadoku was getting for the people out there that were perplexed or just very confused right now i'm basically talking about money so because if you don't know out of the ring sold 28.6 million copies worldwide and with that being said it exceeded 30 million by february 2025 and the sustained popularity is probably why sony was very intrigued on trying to get that as an exclusive ip also when it comes to armored corps when that came out 2028
Starting point is 02:46:31 that game sold three million copies by July 2024 per Kodoka's reports with a strong performance exceeding expectations and the sales reached around 3.5 to 4 million by February 2025. So the games that Kodoka was coming out with under via from software is definitely impacting the masses to the point where now is the time to try to either get them exclusively exclusively under your own. brother or your I your tech or basically collaborate with them because if you can't beat them then you might as well join them and I would think that owning them as far as a buyout would be technically beating them as far as getting them under your umbrella so that the other competition doesn't have it but now due to the price being way too exorbitive for you to be able to pay that amount you basically are just co-collaborating on a lot of different um IP that are going to enhance the Sony,
Starting point is 02:47:36 basically the Sony marketplace as far as what consumers can buy and view. So anyways, with that been said, there's definitely nothing that's going to come of from software games like Eldon Ring or Armored Corps being exclusively for PlayStation. But when it comes to future and co-funded products via Sony and Kodokawa, we still don't know if those are going to come, exclusively to PlayStation because of course now that armor core and elder ring is through the roof basically you know how they're saying stocks to buy low and sell high basically PlayStation tried to buy Kodokua when it was at a a chart topping stock as far as how much they would have to pay to buy it out so now because they can't basically buy high and then they don't want to end up selling low right they want to create new uh new creations with Kodokua to the point where
Starting point is 02:48:31 you're technically buying low because we don't know if this is not a proven concept if they come with a new anime or something like that and then that could lead to sony getting something from kodokua under them exclusively so a lot of fans of course for from software did not want sony to buy out from software because of apparently a lot of different companies have went through this as they'll get bought out by these microsoft sony corporations right and then coincidentally coincidentally they would end up losing a lot of creative freedom that they were promised at the very beginning of the deal right they say we're going to give you this front you're going to have all the create creative control to make whatever you want then the deal gets signed you get into production and all of a sudden 15 to 16 people with suits coming in telling you how to make your game so that i've seen that happen i've heard that happen a lot in the gaming industry so now from software was violently opposed to being acquired by Sony as they didn't want loss of creator freedom they didn't want to compete with the other PlayStation exclusives because what's the point of being
Starting point is 02:49:44 under PlayStation exclusively if games like spider-man games like god of war we've seen how those games have come and you would think it'll be a chart topper but because of it not being on xbox or not Nintendo but basically PC right because it's not on Xbox or PC, you can see how you can miss out on a lot of revenue being exclusively for one platform. And then of course, people from software, no pun intended, they basically said Sony potentially abandoning or mismanaging franchises like Bloodbore or Demon Souls, those were the industry rumors as far as why they didn't want this buyout to happen. So, of course, everybody start to pay attention to these reports coming out to the point where now when it comes to
Starting point is 02:50:34 kodakawa's stake it's increased to 10% up from uh 2% so it went from 2% and 10% in the aftermath of all this news so the biggest winners i would think is kodakawa and from software because if you don't know now that you have all this evaluation set on the forefront and people know how much you're bringing in with your popular IPs they're probably going to put a lot more respect on your name especially when your next project comes out with whichever they might that might be because of course we know that elder ring actually let me get the actual really state because elder ring night rain that's coming out at some point okay so elder ring night rain is coming out May 30 of 2025 that's basically like a multi-player battle royale type setting so you need like one to four one to three players and basically
Starting point is 02:51:28 basically it's going to be a battle rea out format set in the elder ring world but they're also going to bring in bosses from past dark souls games that will probably excite fans who are hardcore fans of just all dark souls games so it's really not too much to get into when i'm talking about acquisitions is definitely more of an above your pay grade type of business happening behind the scenes but of course from everything that i've looked up is from everything that i've researched especially listening to a lot of gaming insiders they did not want this deal to happen no matter if Sony was willing to pay the $4.3 billion dollars to acquire them because now when it comes to revenue and when it comes to creative control it would definitely be limited because now if somebody owns you they're probably going to come in at some point and say hey instead of doing this do that and if you don't do it just so happens they might just cut budget right they just might end up instead of having a hundred million dollar budget now you got like 25 right just because you didn't agree with them so that's usually how to get around the whole creative control type of tactics that they you know try to blunt
Starting point is 02:52:40 they try to use smoking mirrors to let you think you're going to have all the creative freedom in the world and then technically you do but now the budget is cut because you didn't listen to them so do you really have creative freedom or if they just pulling the wool over your eyes to try to have uh you under them specifically and you answer to them. So with that being said, if you don't know what Kodoka is by now, it's basically a Japanese media conglomerate that owns from software, of course, and those are the developers behind Elder Ring and Armour Corps 6, like I was mentioning. But the main thing you need to know is that this was founded in 1945 by Jin Yoshi Kodoka.
Starting point is 02:53:20 So we can now, we now understand where the name comes from, as it was founded by K. Jen Yoshi Kodoka. So with that being said, there's really nothing else to get into. I mean, when it comes to Eldering Night Rain that's coming out May 30 of 2025, definitely be on a lookout for that. When it comes to Armored Corps,
Starting point is 02:53:39 I don't know what type of sequel or DOC that's going to receive, but I would assume, based on the success of Armored Corps, which ended up surpassing 3 million copies by July, 24, and surpassed 4 million copies by February 2020, well, this month,
Starting point is 02:53:56 you would have to assume, that they'll have some type of DOC that come out for it because even though it's not on elder rings level it definitely wasn't a flop so we'll have to look out or be on the lookout for for future iterations of armor core so with that being said click my link true in my bio let me know one of my social media is what do you think about Sony trying to buy kodoka what it ended up not going through because of the evaluation price and now what IP would you like to see in live action and do you believe that a Sony Kodoka movie or anime will end up being any good
Starting point is 02:54:31 or do you think it would end up being a complete flop? And it's time to get into the second most popular hero in the world because we already know that Spider-Man takes the top spot. But you know, that's besides the point, right? I don't want to make Batman fans upset this early into the segment. So hopefully this following news will uplift your spirits as Rocksteady has, well, there's rumors, so it takes us with a grain of salt. But basically, they said that Rocksteady is focusing on a new single-player Batman game.
Starting point is 02:55:11 But of course, the specifics would not confirm. Now, that is set to make a lot of people upset. Why? Because Batman Beyond is what people are wanting for the next installment into the Arkham Night series. If you don't know, well, until the Arkham series. Because when it comes to the Arkham night, being the last game of the series, if you don't know how it ends, I don't want to spoil it for you. Because, of course, well, if you want to play the game for yourself.
Starting point is 02:55:38 Like, I know Kaisennaz doing a whole Batman Marathon, so why would I spoil it for anybody who wants to know what happens at the end? So basically, essentially, Warner is wanting to make a new Batman single player game. But they are saying that it's going to be the first entry into a new Batman game trilogy. Now, I wonder what character they could go with as far as continuing the storyline, but also giving him his own trilogy. So after we figure out that it's probably going to be a Batman Beyond game,
Starting point is 02:56:16 we have to start to get into what do we want to see when it comes to a Batman Beyond game? Because if you don't know, his power set is very unique as far as compared to Batman. And I believe that Bruce Wayne is like super old whenever Batman Beyond comes through. So I wonder how they're going to do that. Like I wonder if it's going to be a time skip. Like it's just so many questions that we need answer. And of course, with these rumors, we're not going to get answers to those type of specific questions. So I'm trying to figure out what are the differences between the powers is.
Starting point is 02:56:52 So what comes to Batman, we already know where he is, you know, he's basically a human, doing all these superhero-like feats because he has plot armor. But, you know, that's besides a point, right? Actually getting into Batman Beyond, I know he has Rocket Boots. I know he has Rocket Boots. So I think that's like one of the main differences between Batman Beyond and Batman, as far as transverse in the environment. So, of course, Batman Beyond is Terry McGinnis.
Starting point is 02:57:21 Batman, you already knows Bruce Wayne. The main difference is that Batman Beyond, has an advanced exosuit, which Batman does as well. But like I said, he has jet boots. He has invisibility, interesting. Built in gadgets such as battle rings, grapple. Okay, same thing Batman has. But he has enhanced strength because of his exosuit.
Starting point is 02:57:45 So when it comes to Batman, I've always wondered why he made all these suits, but he can never fly. Like if you have this much, money and you're working with some of the top tech people in the world, why are you making a suit to where you got to grapple around, you got to use vehicles? Like, why did I just make a suit where you could fly? But maybe I'm tripping. The main thing with me when it comes to Batman is that he's a human and he should not be doing all these superhero-like feats. I know y'all say,
Starting point is 02:58:17 the suspends your disbelief, but whenever they compare, they consistently compare who will win in the Superman versus Batman scenario, that's when I get upset. I'm like, there's no way, y'all telling me that a human is about to take out Superman in any form or fashion. I don't care if he has kryptonite armor all around him. It just doesn't make sense. So with that being said, Batman Beyond is more of an upgraded Batman from the standpoint of the suit. Now, of course, Batman, you know, his intellect, which I call plot armor. But, you know, that's basically he's one of the world's greatest detectives and things of that nature.
Starting point is 02:58:54 Batman Beyond is not. He's less detective, more just suit dependent and just throw hands. He's not like going to be Sherlock Holmes and figuring out who the villain is or what the motive is behind the villain, right? He's not doing any of that. He's going in and throwing straight hands. Meanwhile, Batman is over here on his knees, basically looking at stuff with a magnifying glass, right? So that's the main difference. With Terry McGinnis' suit, he's a lot stronger.
Starting point is 02:59:22 He can go invisible. He has jet boots. So transverse in the environment should be a lot more enjoyable because now a lot of people want like Superman-like games, but they don't realize that Superman is one of the most O-P fictional creations of all time. So as far as balancing that in the gaming format, it wouldn't make any sense. Like unless he's battling robots 24-7, Batman's out here fighting thugs on the street. Superman can't do that in his game because it wouldn't make sense. Like imagine you get beat up about thugs on the street as your same. Superman just doesn't make sense right so Superman would have to be in some like huge apocalyptic type of
Starting point is 03:00:00 setting for his story to even make sense which is why brainiac is one of the best villains for a Superman like a character but when it comes to a game do you really want the entire game to be just robots running around the entire like as far as the apocalyptic setting of course not so um it's hard to do a superman game and I think if you look at any Superman game in the past you're really why it's that hard. So with Batman being more human, it's a lot more believable as far as him going up against random street thugs and getting taken out with one punch. So Batman Beyond, they're also working on it's a Spider-Verse type of show where I don't know if it's the creators of Spider-Verse, but they're basically wanted to do a Batman Beyond version of what they
Starting point is 03:00:48 deal with Miles Morales, Spider-Man, and across the Spider-Verse. So I think that would be a great transition for them. But as far as actual development details leading back to the game, you already know that the commercial failure of Suicide Squad killed the Justice League probably made Rocksteady look back at their IP and was
Starting point is 03:01:07 like, you know what? Let's just go with the safe bet because we already tried with Suicide Squad to switch it up. And we've seen how that came about. One of the worst flops in game in history. So now, let's go back to Batman. Let's try to give
Starting point is 03:01:23 Terry McGinnis his own trilogy and see how that does. And I think that would be phenomenal because if you don't know, Warner Bros. Montreal was previously working on a similar Batman Beyond Inspired game, co-named Project Sabbath, but it was canceled in 2017. But elements were allegedly repurposed for Gotham Nights and suicide squires. So if you didn't know, well, now you know. So the game is rumored to be a PS5 exclusive. Xbox players not going like that.
Starting point is 03:01:52 So, of course, for PC players, I think it was still. will come out even if it is exclusive on PlayStation because usually months after or maybe even a whole entire year after at some point you will get the PlayStation I would not PlayStation you would get the game uh that was exclusively on PlayStation so I mean just look at Spider-Pos4 and how long that took to go from PlayStation to PC so when it comes to that I think that's one of the main things you need to look at as far as Batman beyond coming in the future obviously we have no official confirmation from Rocksteady, Warner Bros or anything, but all of these are reputable sources as far as when I researched more
Starting point is 03:02:30 into it as far as the Batman Beyond game being the actual thing. So I'll take it with a grain of salt, but also do realize that a lot of these publications are saying the same thing. And at that point, whether there's smoke this fire as if they're going to have an entire trilogy set around Batman Beyond, especially in the universe, I think we're in for a treat as the main thing. with Rocksteady is getting a W because Suicide Squad was such a flop that there's really no point in trying to roll the dice again.
Starting point is 03:03:05 Just go with your most popular superhero. Go with what you already know as far as the mechanics of using a Batman-like character. Give us a trilogy under Batman Beyond. And then maybe under that trilogy or in the midst of that trilogy, you could put out like a Justice League game where we have the OG Batman, right?
Starting point is 03:03:24 I think that could be a good marketing strategy rollout for a Rocksteady. But of course, with Suicide Squad, they're bound to make some mistakes, but I just hope it doesn't end up with them going away from the Batman Arkhamverse. So with that being said, click my link to share in my bio. Let me know what of my social media is.
Starting point is 03:03:43 What do you think about Batman Beyond being rumored to be the next single player game from Rocksteady? And would you be looking forward to a Batman Beyond Rocksteady game or if the rumors aren't true, but they're still working on a single player game, which character under the DC umbrella would you like to see them make a game for it? Now, I hope y'all know at this point in time, I do not take pleasure in playing these horror games. But because of my friend Little Uchi convincing me to try out a horror game, I went down the plethora of horror games that have and captivated the masses.
Starting point is 03:04:32 And it just so happened is one of the games that I'm covering for this episode as Phasmophobia. Not only is it not as scary as I thought it was going to be, but it's a very, very intricate game, especially when you get into the details. And when you really understand that it's the little things that matter, that matter as far as getting the ghost right now of course the game not particularly talking about is called phasmophobia and when this game officially launched september 8 18th 2020 as far as PC early access and then it initially came out well after that it came out october 24 for consoles so when it comes
Starting point is 03:05:19 to phasmophobia why was this the game that i chose because i could have chose any game i was going to choose paranormal tails I'm so glad that it's not even out yet because that game looked beyond horrific I mean it's actual real life like quality graphics as far as going throughout the game now this one I'm not gonna lie it's a little bit janky it's a little janky but at the end of the day it's very fun especially when you actually know what you're doing and you end up effectively and officially hunting down the ghosts because when it comes
Starting point is 03:05:54 to phasmophobia that's basically the whole premise of the game. Up to four players can investigate haunted locations using tools like the EMF readers, thermometers, spirit boxes, not boxes got boxes popping up with spirits
Starting point is 03:06:12 to identify 20 plus ghost types. So the 20 plus ghost types is the thing that makes this game so fun because you never know what ghosts you're going to run into in every single session, right? And they don't even, they don't even last that long because if you're good at the game, usually every single session takes about 10 to 15 minutes. And of course, it may take 20 to 30 minutes if you're on the larger maps.
Starting point is 03:06:38 But as far as the difficulty, it's very apparent that you have to get really good at the game and know beyond the evidence tab on your booklet you have to know the what to what to look for as far as the attention of detail because certain ghosts can turn off the lights certain ghosts can't turn off the lights certain ghosts have different footsteps when they're haunting certain ghosts aren't active at all until you like put salt on the ground and things that nature if you don't step in salt then it's uh probably a race like stuff like that you really have to pay attention to extra stuff outside of what the tells you which is why this game really is probably one of the more intriguing games that I've played as far as from a gameplay standpoint because you're really going around finding the ghost room and then you're going to go into different tactics of getting ghost information as far as capturing pictures of maybe the ghost leaves a hamper on the wall so you use a UV and then you get a camera and then somebody takes a picture or you could do both I've seen people play this game solo and they are phenomenal you would never ever catch me playing a horror game solo unless i lose a bit so with that being said i think the
Starting point is 03:07:53 multiple times that i play this with of course my friend little uci and getting into how intricate the game is it's very apparent that you have to build up expi so you can unlock new maps tools and in difficulties which is why it's so uh and captivating because now you have level two level three thermometers which makes it 10 times easier to find the ghost so not only you're getting better but you're also getting more efficient and improved tools to find the ghosts so with that being said of course getting into the overall sales performance when it initially launched september 18th 2020 for PC early access basically the milestones when it comes to copy sold was over two million as in a hundred and four days post-launch so this is in 2020 right and then 22 million total sales as of right now across all
Starting point is 03:08:49 platforms and then of course when it comes to the steam concurrent player count it it uh exceeded a hundred thousand concurrent players at his peak so obviously you know a lot of people are really enjoying this game i mean igon gave this an eight out of ten uh pc gamer gave it an 85 out of a hundred in game game spot gave this a seven out of ten but as far as on steam is overwhelmingly positive with over 500,000 reviews and it sits at 94%. So people are enjoying this game. Like I said, it's a bit janky, which I really like because if a horror game was not janky, like let's just say it was the most optimized horror game ever, I think I'd be scared out of my mind because the glitches in this game, the equipment bugs, the AI glitches the overall way that the ghosts interact with you and move around the animation that
Starting point is 03:09:41 does when it captures you it's not that scary especially with the graphics not being so top tier as far as like realistic if that makes sense so i enjoy that for other people they probably want a more realistic core game because of course they want to be spooked and things of that nature but for me this is perfect like this compared to poor a paranormal activities the game we were going to play And so I found out it wasn't even out. That specific game is like literally lifelike as far as the graphics. It's just out of this world as far as making it look one to one from real life to video game. It's actually insane.
Starting point is 03:10:16 So whenever we get around and playing that game, I don't know, man. I may have to sprinkle some holy water on me or walk around with a Bible because that game looks beyond scary. But as far as this game, it's not as scary, especially when you know what you're doing. So when you first get into it, it's going to be a lot of just experimenting. and just getting a grasp for the game. But once you realize that the thermometer, the EMF, and then other tools are really more important for finding the ghost, then you get into a rhythm,
Starting point is 03:10:45 and then you start figuring out the ghosts very quickly. With that being said, some of the other things that's coming with the major 2025 update, which is why I wanted to cover this, basically there's going to be a chronicle update where there's going to be a new media tab that replaces the photos tab with photos, videos, and sound recordings. And then also the unique evidence system that they're using is going to be, first captures provide more XP slash money and duplicates earn less.
Starting point is 03:11:19 So now they're diversifying the way that you get revenue from these ghost hunts. Because if you don't know, there's bonus objectives that you could do, obviously just finding the ghost types. and then there's the picture. So that's the main thing that you need to fill up on every single session when you're chasing down these ghosts. So it's not as straightforward as you may think. There's definitely a lot of research you may have to do behind the scenes because when we
Starting point is 03:11:44 first hopped into the game, it didn't really have a tutorial. It was like, all right, have fun hunting the ghosts. And then that was it, right? I had to look up everything. And then when you really watch pro players play this game, you realize a lot more and you learn a lot more to the point when now I'm very proficient in this game. Well, I think I'm very proficient. I'm still not pro level, but you know, I really do enjoy this game.
Starting point is 03:12:05 And also, with that being said, analytic dreams video on Spotify to see my phasmophobia gameplay because I do have a lot of gameplay up there as far as this particular game is considering. Because, you know, I do play games. You know what I'm saying? Of course, I play games because I cover game. So let me see. I'm going to pull this up for you all.
Starting point is 03:12:24 So phasmophobia, right? And if you type in analytic dreams with the Z, can't forget the Z. And then, oh yeah, here we go. Okay, let me see if I could. All right, let me screenshot this right quick. All righty, here we go. So as far as going to analytic dreams video on Spotify, here's what it will look like.
Starting point is 03:12:51 So basically I always have like the stream title up at the top and then the right you see Phasmophobia live. So this is my live, my live gameplay of the game. Of course, it's not like recorded. And then I put it out. I do this live. If you don't know, make sure to follow me on my live platforms. I go live on Twitch, both of my YouTube channels, Kick, and Twitter.
Starting point is 03:13:14 So click my link tree in my bio and then just follow one of those social medias to follow me live. And make sure to follow and hit the bell icon to be notified when I go live. But anyways, this is what looks like after the fact because I post the VODs on analytic dreams video. So if you're wondering, what's the difference? That's the biggest difference. So this is what we'll look like. So if you get thrown off by the first title, just know that's for the stream. And then the second, the little slash right here.
Starting point is 03:13:41 I don't even know. I drew all over that. Well, yeah, y'all see what I'm saying. That little slash right there. And then Fasmophobia Live, that usually tells you the game that was playing while it was live. So anyways, with that means, Sam, the developer for this particular game is Connect games. And their UK-based indie studio led by Daniel Dick Nider, Knight. Um, interesting.
Starting point is 03:14:05 And then the platforms, um, pull this up right quick. All right. And so the platforms that phasmodophobia is on is PC, PS5, Xbox series X and S, PSVR 2, but no switch version confirmed. So we do not know if it's going to come to switch yet. I think this game is perfect for the switch. Like I don't think it's as graphically intense to where it can't or they can't make a switch port, right? Very interesting that it's on PSVR two. I haven't seen.
Starting point is 03:14:35 any gameplay or even heard of the PSVR 2 version so that's interesting but with that being said there's going to be map reworks coming in the future as uh bleasdale farmhouse is seeing our overhaul with new ghost rooms and outdoor garden uh grafting farmhouse has planned visual and layout improvements and then of course future additions uh seeming uh to come soon because it's 2025 um Oh, no, they said it's, so it's either 2025 or 2026, because 2026, they say there's more house reworks coming with new maps in horror 2.0 system. I don't know what that means. But as far as 2025, you can expect a new character customization overhaul as far as the UI is considered. And then, of course, it's going to be a new small map, which if you don't know, I really like the small maps in this game, the huge maps.
Starting point is 03:15:31 I mean, who's really trying to walk around with one of those? sound amplifiers waiting to get spooked right so I like the small maps so we all have to walk around with that little boom mic and get scared out of my mind when it just said when it whispers or something so when it comes to nightmare difficulty they say it's too punishing but that that's what some is some of the phasmophobia gamers out there say so when it comes to the nightmare difficulty I guess they're fixing that with the AI And then of course the voice chat security, there was minor concerns about data breach,
Starting point is 03:16:10 uh, data privacy, but there's been no reported breaches. So that seems very minuscule. So anyways, the main thing you need to know is that this is a very phenomenal game to play with your friends, especially if you like turn into Sherlock Holmes. That's what I call this game. I feel like it's Sherlock Holmes, but instead of solving the crimes back in the 18 or 1700, I forget when Sherlock Holmes was around. But, um, You're basically solving crimes for which ghosts you might be encountering. Because if you don't know, there's like a whole van you start in. So it's not like just some random people just walk into a house.
Starting point is 03:16:43 You're literally like ghostbusters and you have all type of equipment in a van. And you were basically called to go investigate their house and find the ghost. So it's a very interesting premise. I think they executed on this phenomenally. And the main thing I would say is just the graphics and the overall mechanics. mechanics could be a lot smoother. But of course, the developers of this game is Connect Games, which is UK-based indie studios.
Starting point is 03:17:11 So maybe they just need a lot more time when it comes to smoothing out the mechanics because it's very janky. I will say it's very janky, but I think this is one of those games where the studio did not plan on it being this successful. Obviously, you always want to think that the game you're developing is going to be successful, but I don't think they ever in a million years would have thought that
Starting point is 03:17:35 I've released in 2020 and then fast forward to 2025 that it will still be breaking these type of records as far as being one of the more pivotal horror games in the genre. So with that being said, click my link to your bio, let me know in one of my social media
Starting point is 03:17:49 is what do you think about phasmophobia? Have you played phasmophobia? And if not, would you ever try out phasmophobia and if you do, who are you taken with you into the ghost hunt? Now of course getting into cookie run kingdom, you have to recognize that as far as the mobile field, it generates a lot of income for the gaming industry.
Starting point is 03:18:21 So of course, when it comes to the top mobile games in the industry, these are also bringing in a crazy amount of revenue to the point where Cookie Run Kingdom back in 2023 of February ended up surpassing 400. million in revenue. So as far as it coming out in 2021, February 19th to be exact, and then ended up surpassing 400 million just in February 2023 kind of showcases how just one mobile game can generate a disgusting amount of income. Now, with that out the way, of course, for today's segment, we're getting into the highly acclaimed and immensely popular Cookie Run Kingdom as With this particular mobile game, it combines city building with RPG combat, and a lot of players are managing resources, upgrading buildings, and engaging in auto battle combat with teams of five cookies.
Starting point is 03:19:23 So with that being said, when you're looking at the developers for this specific video game, which is Dev Sisters out of South Korea, so as far as Cookie Run Kingdom, is developed by Dev Sisters, as Dev sisters out of South Korea. And of course, the platforms are Android, iOS, and Google Play games. It came out for PC July 2023. So currently speaking, as of today, it is the third most play mobile game in the world. So it's already still a classic in the eyes of mobile gamers as coming out in 2021. And then to follow that up as far as with the. longevity in 2025 and still you're one of the top mobile games in the world and of course as
Starting point is 03:20:15 of right now it's the third most play game in the world and of course when you get into a lot of different reviews for cookie run kingdom IG and gave this an eight out of ten talking about a lot of the characters in the game and the gameplay but this is a mobile game so you have to keep in mind that monetization is a factor in every single mobile game because majority majority of these mobile games are free so to make the money back that's where the micro transactions came in to play which is why it's so egregious for console players to accept these type of micro transactions because we're out here playing $70 to play a video game as far as when they initially launched of
Starting point is 03:20:56 course it could it could go on sale and go down to $30 or $40 but for the most part console players when it comes to micro transactions it shouldn't be as common as it is but for mobile gaming I think it makes sense because of course it's a free game that you play on your device and everybody has the device with them at all time so interestingly enough you can end up playing more mobile you could be a mobile gamer more than you are a console gamer just because of accessibility and it's a free game as far as a cookie run kingdom so with the micro transactions that's not much of a negative side to me because of course it's a mobile game now of course when it comes to a lot of the highlights it's
Starting point is 03:21:39 inspired by mythology and of course the extensive voice acting enhances the storytelling and then when it comes to a lot of the community engagement deaf sisters is very active and proactive as far as making sure that their fan base is heard and that their supporters are taking care of as there were coals that came out in February 2020 well this month So this month, codes came out. And as far as a particular codes and how to redeem, you have to, you have to visit the official website, enter DevPlay ID and put a valid code and then claim rewards. Now, of course, I will put the codes up on the screen, but y'all not about to put in the comments section, hey, man, I tried your code.
Starting point is 03:22:26 And guess what? It didn't work because, you know, somebody else probably used it by the time I put up this video. So all I'm going to tell you is they have February. codes out there i would just probably look up cookie run kingdom february 2025 codes and a lot of websites are putting up like different codes and they're like uh refreshing every time they they're uh all the codes are used so um you know what would they say in the hunger games they may the odds be forever in your favor so but that being said with this game being primarily um an RPG combat type of game there's a lot of different mechanics that a lot of people point out and some
Starting point is 03:23:04 of the drama of this video game because of course you know we got to get in the drama so some of the drama for this game is the costume gotcha system which they say uses rainbow cubes for cosmetic outfits another one of the negative um expressions from the supporters basically they said the player uh r n g can lead to duplicate draws with some feeling unlucky which you know rng is always a very frustrating especially if you're getting the short end of a stick. And then, of course, at the end of day, a lot of people want, you know, certain game balances and things in that nature. And that's more of the norm for every video game.
Starting point is 03:23:44 So with this very popular RPG mobile game, you kind of have to realize that the way that they got here was not more of a decade-long grind process. Like, I'm not going to say out the gate, but essentially out the gate, when cookie run kingdom was released January 2021. Basically, it made a lot of money to the point where they earned over 100 million in user spending with South Korea being the strongest market, of course, followed by Taiwan, Thailand, Japan, and the USA. And this is in 2021.
Starting point is 03:24:23 Fast forward into 2022 and, no, no, fast forward to February 2020. And of course, like I said earlier in this segment, this game surpassed. 400 million so that revenue was generated solely uh well no that that was like in totality so by february 23 day they overall made 400 million in revenue since its launch indicating of course the strong player base and the consistency of keeping their players engaged now of course between the years of 2023 and 24 the estimated uh revenue generated for cookie run kingdom has reached around 500 million by January of last year and of course since it's 2025 we will have to assume that at this pace there's estimates around 2 million as far as of right now and daily active player daily active
Starting point is 03:25:17 players averaging around 6003,000 and at the at first glance you're probably like that's an insane player count as far as active or daily active players well usually everybody kind of like well saying earlier in the segment a lot of people have their mobile devices with them at all times right some of the highest games on steam to like put in comparison cookie run kingdom currently in 2025 as of today they average around 6003 000 daily active users users now games i can compare that to is of course dota 2 and counter strike 2 where doda 2 averages around 5808 000 as far as the 24 hour peak and of course Counter Strike 2 average is 1.5 million. Yeah, we shouldn't compare any game to Counterstrike 2 as of right now. So that's not even a good comparison. Let's go to PubG Battlegrounds, which is the third most play
Starting point is 03:26:13 game on Steam, and that averages around $767,000 in the 24-hour peak. So just to put in perspective, Cookie Run Kingdom is competing with some of the most play games on PC. I would assume the console numbers are lower. They don't give us actual data and analytics for the Xbox. PlayStation unless you're like a developing studio so with that being said i would just have to assume that cookie run kingdom is competing with some of the most popular games even on pc and console not only is a popular mobile but it's putting up daily active user numbers comparable to every to the most popular games in general so just to let you know uh the mobile market is very very lucrative and of course uh dev sisters found that out with their hit uh cookie run kingdom now
Starting point is 03:27:02 trying to see if I had it. I think that was basically it. So overall, as far as my personal take on this game, as far as from all the sentiments from the player base and from gaming publications and of course watching the game for myself, I would say that, I mean, you should at least try it, especially if you like city building with RPG combat.
Starting point is 03:27:25 I think this game is like perfect for you. So with that being said, click my link to my bio. Let me know one of my social medias. What do you think about cooking? You run Kingdom. And at the end of the day, if you're a mobile gamer, what is your favorite mobile game of all time? It's time to get into Poppy Playtime, Chapter 1, 2, 3, and 4.
Starting point is 03:27:53 Now, ladies and gentlemen, this game initially came out specifically, as far as specifically Chapter 1 came out, October 12, 2021. Now, of course, it was praised for its atmosphere and the unique elements as far as it being a horror theme puzzle solving with a lot of exploration activity set within an eerie environment of an abandoned toy factory named Playtime Company. So in general, this is a very scary game, but it has a kid-like atmosphere, which is a very unique aesthetic. It kind of reminds me of Five Nights at Freddy just due to the fact that it's set in a kid
Starting point is 03:28:36 atmosphere but it's a lot of horrific things going on so when you're looking at poppy playtime at first glance you're probably like what is this kid game but then you really get into it and you realize they have a lot of five nice of freddies throughout this entire game meaning that a lot of just the imagery combined with the fact that you're in a playground is very off-putting for most people so when it comes to this overall game uh chapter 1st, came out October 12th, 2021. Chapter 2 came out May 5th, 2022. Chapter 3 came out January 30th, 2024, and of course, the console and mobile editions came after them. Now, getting into Chapter 4, which is the latest chapter to come out, it was released initially on PC, January 30th, 2025.
Starting point is 03:29:33 And as far as the console and mobile editions, it haven't been any announcement. for that but we would assume it would come at a later date just like the the previous chapters did as far as putting in perspective chapter three came out on PC January 30th 2024 and then came to console September 20th 2024 and came to Nintendo Switch October October 31st 24 so we could assume that the console and mobile editions will probably come in that same type of time span as far as chapter three. So when we're getting into the overall game,
Starting point is 03:30:13 obviously I already talked about it being in a horror setting, it being more of a puzzle solving type game. And there's a lot of cause and effects due to either successfully executing a puzzle or failing because a lot of things can happen if you end up failing and a lot of things can happen if you end up succeeding. You're going to get scared either way. Let's just put it like that.
Starting point is 03:30:33 Now, of course, with this game being out for a minute, there's a lot of different sales and discounts, especially for chapter 1, 2, and 3. But when it comes to overall sales, it's one of the more popular games in the horror genre as right now on Xbox is the seventh most played game on the platform. Now, surprisingly enough, I did not see it on PlayStation or Steam. So I still would say it's selling well.
Starting point is 03:30:59 It's probably just Xbox where players are playing that the most because sometimes it's vice versa. Like other games I've covered, sometimes they'll be, more popular on PlayStation and Steam than Xbox and you know vice versa so this is one of those times where this game is still immensely popular but it's just most popular on Xbox currently so when we're getting into the different chapters there's a lot of hours that's in each specific chapter now but i say a lot of hours i don't mean like it's a RPG type fest where you're just going to be ingrained into the world for a hundred plus hours right uh chapter one basically takes 30 to 40
Starting point is 03:31:37 to 45 minutes for experience players but it would probably take you up to one hour for first timers now chapter two flying the web is a little bit longer where it would take 1.5 to 3 hours with exploration and then of course chapter uh chapter 3 deep sleep that takes about 3 to 6 hours as far as with exploration now when it comes to chapter 4 um i actually don't know how long that would take because it just came out by I'm pretty sure I can find how long I would assume it would enhance going off of the trend so as far as on average chapter four it takes about three to four hours to complete the main objectives and then for completion is it takes about five hours or more so it's similar to chapter three so it seems like you know the developers over there which if you don't know this game is developed by mob entertainment the founders is Zach and Seth Belling Bellinger. So they transitioned from animation, enchanted mob to a game development. And basically, a lot of notable events that happened was Isaac Christopherson, Christopherson, what type of name? That's the game director. And he left post chapter three due to differing management views. So that's
Starting point is 03:33:04 interesting but anyways so that's the rundown as far as who's developing who's the overall leaders of this specific game because it's very popular and at this point in time with it having more of a five nice at freddy's type of aspect as far as puzzle solving while also dealing with horrific elements in the midst of a playground type setting it's a unique take let's just say that because this i think it's hard to execute if you're not good at the horror genre because it's more psychology than anything if you've looked into any of the horror entertainment out there. The main thing to get somebody scared is to know a lot about the psyche. And it's very deep when you get into it as far as these horror directors and how they go about
Starting point is 03:33:45 trying to get people scared, raising your adrenaline, uh, adrenaline things of that nature. So anyways, chapter one as far as, uh, price point. It's currently $4.99. Uh, chapter two is priced at $9.99. Chapter three is $14.99. And then let me see. chapter four because with the runtime being so short it kind of makes sense chapter four that's 1999 so it's really not that expensive at all as far as the type of gameplay you're getting because once again if it's a puzzle like game automatically that tells me that there's a lot of
Starting point is 03:34:27 replayability in it because i would assume there's speed runs there's different routes you could go i would assume with puzzle like games there's multiple ways you can approach certain situations, especially when an overall puzzle is in the mix. So it's not as straightforward as a single player game, basically. So with a lot of moving parts, this specific game has scored tremendously with a lot of people giving this high praise, especially when it comes to, when it comes to Steam, giving this a 9 out of 10 for Chapter 1. Metacritic gave it a 67 out of 100, which is very interesting because that's almost mid,
Starting point is 03:35:07 honestly but uh they praised it for the atmosphere and criticized it for brevity i have never heard that word before what in the world brevity you don't hear that word every day brevity is concise and exact use of words in writing or speech criticized for brevity concise in the exact use of words hmm i don't understand but anyways maybe they mean like they don't they don't explain much Anyways, chapter two, Steam gave this a 7 out of 10 with Metacritic gave in a 7, giving it a 72 out of 100. So it scored better than Chapter 1 on Metacritic, but scored worse on Steam compared to the Chapter 1. And then, of course, you have Chapter 3 with that scoring an 8.5 out of 10 on Steam, and then Metacritic gave it a 78 out of 100.
Starting point is 03:35:57 So that's more balanced out. That may be the better one as far as the critics being considered, as far as the actual fans. When it comes to this overall game, I haven't really good. got into the community like that, so I don't know what's the player consensus as far as what they feel about the game and things of that nature. But overall, I will say there was a lot of NFT controversy back in December, 2021, where a lot of negative reactions happen as far as the endgame NFTs is, and then to the point where the CEO had to come out and state a, and give an apology, right? So that's some interesting developments on that side. So as far as the player base,
Starting point is 03:36:32 that was obviously mad about that. And then when it comes to content concerns, obviously, you know, parents are always concerned with childlike games having horror in it because if you think about it that could ruin your psyche as a kid forever think about you you're thinking you watching a chucky cheese tv show and automatically uh freddie from five nights of freddie just pops up and jumps at the screen right that could scar a kid for life so that being said um parents are concerned about that but at the end of day you know the ESRB has was created for a reason video games have ESRB ratings for a reason. And with the ESRB, hold on let me bring this up for y'all.
Starting point is 03:37:11 ESRB was established by Motor Kombat because of the game being so gory, right? And it went on to basically be the foundation for a rating video game. So when it comes to entertainment software rating board, this is an organization that assigns age and content ratings to video games in the United States and Canada. So with that being said, parents need to do their job. Now, you know, of course, am I, am I, will, they say is the opposite my little age they'll be like what you know about parenting but at the end of day
Starting point is 03:37:42 this whole system stay in place to let you know what's for kids and what's not for kids so if you get that if you get it misconstrued if you get it a misconstrued and you're not looking at the label I mean one can say that's on you so anyways um that to the side of course when it comes to the pricing they are upset over the price which is interesting because it's very
Starting point is 03:38:06 I would say cheap in the sense of your regular $70 price tag. But if you think about it, this game, like I said, as far as the runtime, is very short. Chapter 4 is, no, no, chapter 3 and 4 is the longest with 3 to 6 hours of runtime as far as for experience players and for new players. But like I said with chapter 1 and chapter 2, that's about 1 to 3 hours of gameplay. And with chapter 1, they really said 30 to 1 hour of playtime. So it's very short. It's a puzzle-like game, but still, it's very short, and it doesn't discredit the fact that a lot of people was concerned over the price point.
Starting point is 03:38:43 So when it comes to that, you know, huggy-wuggy, which I believe is the main character. That's insane. He's the main character, and you're basically going throughout the chapters playing as him. As in chapter one, you're basically doing a lot of different things with huggy-wuggy. and in chapter two you're playing as mommy long legs interesting
Starting point is 03:39:09 and then chapter three you're playing as cat nap and missed the light what in the world yeah these are some insane names I ain't gonna lie to you but at the end of day you had to play for yourself
Starting point is 03:39:22 to actually get the full grasp of it for me I just like to give you the review and the sales roundup just to let you know this game is well it exists on planet of earth you know what I mean and let you do of that information, which you will as far as if you want to play it or not. From what I've seen, it seems like people enjoy it.
Starting point is 03:39:38 The runtime could be a concerning factor for some, not wanting to pay like $4 or $5 for one hour of gameplay. You know, that's just your personal decision. But at the end of day, chapter three and four is a lot longer with it being one, no, with it being three to six hours of runtime. But, of course, it's more expensive at the, what was it, the $14. Price Day? I think they said it was like $14, $15.
Starting point is 03:40:01 dollars i forget i forget where is that uh chapter four chapter three is 15 dollars so i would assume chapter four is the same so uh with that being said there's really not too much to get into with this particular game i'm not a horror game fanatic so of course when we're looking at these type of games i like to look away because i am not the scared like i'm not the oh let me mess around and find out type of person when it comes to horror games like I know my limit and that is one of them now of course if I'm playing with somebody else you know shout out to my guy low uci we have a lot of phasmophobia gameplay on my channel if you just go to analytic dreams video on Spotify you'll see the video along with the audio and basically I have whole
Starting point is 03:40:46 gameplay of me playing phathomophobia I feel like we're pretty solid you know what I mean about pretty solid I mean not at all so but that is a horror game technically it's not as scary but uh we it's in a horror genre so technically I have played a horror game so I have my limits but that falls along with it. So at the end of day, there has been theories about chapter five coming out in 26, which would coincide with the year break between chapter three and four. So that's a reasonable assumption to make. So when it comes to Poppy Playtime, I think trying it out is very pivotal,
Starting point is 03:41:26 but as far as Chapter 1, it may be too short of an experience to actually grasp but what the game is about. I want to say to just skip the chapter three because I'm pretty sure these are chapters for a reason, right? They're called chapters for a reason. But at the end of day, I don't know, just choose whatever chapter you like and then I guess go at it
Starting point is 03:41:43 because I was just letting you know the runtime just in case you buy and upset about the playtime. So that's basically it. Shout out to Mob Entertainment for making this game because apparently these horror games that and kid-like atmosphere is just a gold mine at this point and I don't know why more people aren't copying games like poppy play time if I'm nice and Freddy's so with that being said click my link to my bio let me know
Starting point is 03:42:10 one of my social media is what do you think about Poppy playtime and if you play chapter one two three and four what is your favorite chapter so far sin Myers civilization seven now of course with this being the seventh iteration into the series you already know that franchise has been impacting the masses for quite some time. Now, of course, this is the latest installment in the franchise that came out February 11th, 2025. And when it comes to this particular game, it's not necessarily topping the charts on Xbox, on PlayStation, or even Steam, but in general, when it comes to the overall sales of civilization, you have to recognize that it's been making an immense impact as it debuted at number two behind EA
Starting point is 03:43:09 sports FC when it officially came out and of course the Nintendo Switch version was the best-selling console version as far as 27% of total sales so it seems like when it comes to civilization people prefer to play this game on a Nintendo Switch now of course when you talk about the actual revenue generated that's a whole other discussion as when this game uh well before this game even released february 11th 2025 it's it had immense anticipation especially from the masses that was one and again to this game and with the strategy of pre-orders that's implemented by a lot of video games if not all combined with the early access for deluxe and founders edition starting february 6 it basically ended up being a success
Starting point is 03:43:59 as it added to the high peak count of concurrent players on platforms like Steam where it surpassed 60,000 players in early access. Now, of course, when it comes to overall sales, it has a lot of different successes as far as on the UK charts specifically. And like I said, it being as far as the console is most popular on, it's Nintendo, which actually don't have the Nintendo charts up because I think, let me see, who develops this game because I believe the developers for civilization if I can find it I think I had it up here okay fire access games founded by sinmeyer known for deep strategy games so it is out on PC Xbox series X and S PlayStation 5 and of course the Nintendo Switch with this is funny with the VR version launching in spring 2025 who's excited for the VR version. Anyways, all jokes aside, looking at the actual charts for the switch is actually the fourth most popular game on the switch. So yeah, just like I was talking about as far as previously, it is most popular on a Nintendo Switch, right behind Mario Car 8 Deluxe, which is very insane, because you already know that Mario dominates the Nintendo Field. I mean, it's literally,
Starting point is 03:45:22 it literally has two out of the top five in the Nintendo Switch charts. But Kingdom Come Deliverance comes at number four, which is a very significant, especially when talking about its impact on the masses. Now, of course, for people just completely out of the loop on what civilization entails, basically it's a guide, it's to guide a civilization from ancient times to the modern era. Yes, ladies and gentlemen, managing growth, diplomacy, warfare, culture, etc. or everything entails you impacting the masses in a way that they can move forward in life. So you may have to give a couple MLK speeches. You may have to round up the troops and be on the front line.
Starting point is 03:46:08 You may have to just do everything that is needed to push your civilization forward. Now, of course, with that sets aside, when it comes to the maps and things in that nature, there's terrain effects where it affects movement, combat, and resources. when it comes to specifically talking about managing your civilization, you're going to be developing cities, investing into research technologies, negotiate treaties, and wage wars. So when it comes to this game, I'm not going to lie, it seems pretty nerdy. This is a very nerdy game, and I cover games for a living. So when it comes to the premise of this particular game, I think, safe to say that this is a
Starting point is 03:46:50 thinking man's game. I mean, you know, I don't want to give no hot takes, but I'm pretty sure this is. probably a thinking man or woman's game you know what I'm saying as far as being able to effectively execute strategies and think ahead it's I will compare it to more of a chess like game as far as it being mentally stimulating as far as you you dealing with a lot of uh conditions while you're trying to bring your civilization from ancient times to the modern era so of course when it comes to domination science, culture, diplomacy, religion, and just the overall score, that is all entailed in this specific video game. So hopefully that cleared it up for you.
Starting point is 03:47:32 Now, of course, when it comes to civilization, there has to be some type of endgame, right? So when it comes to the standard playthrough is 8 to 12 hours per game. But as far as extended playtime, hundreds of hours with different, you can have hundreds of hours with different civilization strategies and mods. So when it comes to the launch, as far as it coming out on February 11, 2025, and then doing three million copies sold in this first month, you kind of realize that as far as impacted the masses,
Starting point is 03:48:04 it already had that type of appeal. And even though it's not topping the charts on PlayStation, Xbox, and Steam, it's still very popular on the Nintendo Switch being the fourth most play game on that platform. And when you're on, all platforms like civilization is i think that just overall helps with the metrics as far as sales are considered because a lot of exclusives are completely cut out from certain player bases because of
Starting point is 03:48:30 their exclusives right so when this game is out on every platform and then it has a great debut to the point where it follows up that debut by continuing to captivate the masses as three million copies sold in the first month i'm pretty sure that's a success in most people's but i don't know I mean, let net ease tell it you can make one of the more popular games ever created in the past, what, five to six months? And you still get laid off. Ain't that? So anyways, we're going to get to that later. But, yeah, so a lot of people just laying off entire studios and things that nature.
Starting point is 03:49:08 So you love to see a developing studio get a W because man is a rough time just in life. general as far as getting laid off and having to find another income to uh i think subsidizes the word your bills and things that nature so when it comes to the developer of fire access games founded by sid and mire i'm so glad that they found success because too many games are coming out being successful and people are still getting laid off for that looking at looking directly at net east so that's probably one of the more negative sides of the gaming industry as far as the high turnover rate but anyways like i was saying the vr version is long as launching spring 2025 and then there is a potential take this with a grain of salt but there's a potential
Starting point is 03:49:52 mobile port based on civilization seven's mobile success so that's a potential future um port with that being said let's get into some of this uh overall sales as far as the review roundup igna gave this game a seven out of 10 euro gamer gave this a four out of 10 goodness they was were they hating or what they on to some a pc gamer like i said it's a thinking man a woman's game so you know what I mean? I don't know. Maybe the person. Let me chill.
Starting point is 03:50:20 GameSpot gave this an 8 out of 10. Xbox Air gave it an 8.6 out of 10. Wargamer gave it a 7 through 8 out of 10. How does it even work? And with that being said, MetaCredit gave it an 80 out of 100. So as you can tell, I mean, for the most part, people are enjoying this game. And when it comes to strategies involved with resource expansion and diplomacy, that should be your thinking going into the same.
Starting point is 03:50:46 game if you're wanting to try it out because that is what this game entails and the main thing about this game is it's very very strategy base you know i mean it shouldn't be rocket signs to know that leading a civilization is probably going to be a lot of strategy that goes into it so anyways um it does support multi player as online and local player including what in the world is that word is that a asynchronous is how you say hold oh no one second let me let me let me let Jarvis read off for me. A Synchronicus mode. Okay.
Starting point is 03:51:21 I learn a new word every day. A synchronicus mode. I don't know what that means. Now I got to look that up because what in the world does that word mean? I know it's syncing something, right? But we just don't know what. That's the main thing I'm trying to figure out. All right.
Starting point is 03:51:36 So asynchronous is not existing or happening at the same time. Multiplayer mode, I guess that makes sense. technically maybe you'll be having two civilizations but in the same lobby i don't know what that means but that's that's my guess i don't know i could be completely wrong but hey learn something every day right so with the developing studio fire axe is having a missed success with the review scores being you know primarily very positive when it comes to the game obviously i already went over the sales and things of that nature and of course this being one of the top strategy games just in the world currently uh when it comes to the masses and then of course the cultural impact of it being
Starting point is 03:52:19 in one of the most influential strategy franchises in gaming history, which is probably why it's the seventh iteration of the series. So that being said, click my link to my bio. Let me know on one of my social medias. What do you think about Sid Meyers, Civilization 7? And if you love strategy games, will you be giving this game a try? Getting into Kingdom Come Deliverance 2, it is making a phenomenal impact on the masses as currently.
Starting point is 03:52:53 it is the 12th most play game on Steam not only that is the second most play game on Xbox and of course for PlayStation users it is the 10th most popular game on that platform so out the gate we already know that Kingdom Come Deliverance to has pun intended delivered on making a very impressive impact on the masses as far as engaging the audience as When this game first came out, it sold over one million copies in just 24 hours after its launch when it initially came out February 4th, 2025. Now, of course, within two weeks of this game's release, the sales doubled, surpassing 2 million in copies sold. And this was announced by, of course, the developing studio for this video game, Warhouse, a Warhorse Studios, and publisher Deep Silver, who of course celebrated this milestone on social media. calling it a triumph because you know currently speaking there's not a lot of ball and gun games that's
Starting point is 03:54:01 not in the top 10 so whenever you're making a game that's not in that realm if it's not a sports game if it doesn't involve a gun well now you come to the point where you're essentially rolling the dice now i know this is a sequel and of course i don't know too much about the original kingdom come But as far as the sequel, it's making a crazy impact on the masses without having the casual appeal of either a ball or a gun in the game. Now, of course, when it comes to this game, it's basically an open world RPG set in the 15th century in Bohemia, hopefully I'm saying that right, where players control Henry continuing his journey from the first game. Now, a lot of the combat in the game, of course, is sword play. archery crossbows and firearms with a steep learning curve when it says firearms. So I guess technically it does have a gun in the game.
Starting point is 03:54:56 Well, maybe all ball and gun games are excluded from my argument because I think with it, I mean, technically, if it's set in the 15th century and essentially the guns are really not call the duty like, but technically it still has a gun in it. So maybe that discredit's my argument. But the main thing about deliverance is the setting, of course. and when it comes to players coming into the game, especially if they play the original, they know that the main thing about RPGs is being able to alter the story, and this has that immensely as player decisions alter story outcomes and NPC relationships.
Starting point is 03:55:34 Now, of course, as a Mass Effect fan, I ain't going to lie to you. That is music to my ears whenever I hear that, because I don't think people realize how much goes into development whenever you're making multiple storylines, based on the players decisions. You're basically making three to four games at once because of, well, if you do it right, you're making three to four games at once because of the drastic outcomes that could happen based on your decisions at any point in the game. So that is why for me, RPGs and platforms have always been my favorite because I like
Starting point is 03:56:09 being able to dive into the story and feel like I'm having a unique take on this particular a story based on my actions and based on my reactions and decisions going into certain missions and things of that nature. So, of course, there's a lot of stealth and strategy in this game as players can avoid combat using the environment and with the time of day and NPC routine. So, you know, essentially every stealth game or every stealth element in these games have those type of mechanics. So I don't know how pivotal it is as far as, you know, setting it aside from the pack, but it has it in the game as far as a lot of stealth and strategy. Now, the main thing about this as far as the unique aspect is that it's set in the 15th century,
Starting point is 03:56:54 of course, but from watching the game, it seems like the recreation of the whole 15th century medieval bohemia and the culture and language is highlighted a lot in this game because that's what makes it stand out. it's not too many games set in the 15th century that's top 10 on every single platform right so and actually if we actually look at the charts as far as if there's any other game set in the past like that that's very popular on PlayStation there's not any game like that oh there's a vowed the premium edition I don't know it just shows some type of guy with a skeleton for a head maybe maybe that's said in the past I don't know what type of game that is but of course on steam Is path of exile said in the past? I think that's said in the past as well. So it's not many of them. Those are the only two along with Kingdom Come that's in the top 10 on every platform.
Starting point is 03:57:56 Well, not every platform, but you know most platforms as far as being said in the past. Now, of course, you already know when it comes to RPGs, you want to know how many hours am I going to have to invest in this video game to beat it? Because with people having a life, a.k.a. a. a. a.a. a. little kids or little humans that they have to take care of, we don't have all the time in the world to play these video games. So, of course, when it comes to Kingdom Come Deliverance 2, the game duration is 40 to 50 hours. And that's on the lighter side. Now, if you want to complete side quests, you know, and explore like you do in every RPG, it would probably take you 80. to 100 plus hours yes ladies and gentlemen the certified stereotype of an RPG is back you got to invest your life into this game to beat it now of course the main story is 40 to 50 hours so if you wanted to just just disregard all side quests you could technically beat this in the midst of 40 to 50
Starting point is 03:59:01 but if you're going to play RPG i would honestly recommend you to play the side missions because ultimately that's what makes you fall in love with great RPGs because of the way that you can build relationships with different NPCs and it ultimately gives you more of a gratifying feeling whenever you're at the end and all of your work in the side quest paid off. So anyways, when this game came out February 4th, 20205, I already went over the sales and things of that nature. Steam specifically has Kingdom Come deliverance to rank the 13th most play game on that
Starting point is 03:59:39 platform but of course i say 12 because wallpaper engine i don't really count that as a game so uh kingdom come has 97 000 players currently playing the game and then it has a 24 hour peak of 150 000 so very impressive for an r pg game and not only an r pg game but a single player RPG game as most single player games find a lot of hesitancy as far as getting funding simply do to the fact that a lot of games that have a ball and a gun in it and also have multiplayer are usually a hit. And of course you have your live services as far as your Fortnite's, your apex legends and Counterstrike 2s, games like that, that just take a life of its own. So now when people are looking to fund different projects and upcoming projects, they're basically
Starting point is 04:00:31 looking for ball and gun games and live service games. Those are the only things they're looking at. So whenever you do something like this, as far as having it in a unique setting, and giving it to the masses, I could assume, I could only assume, that they found some type of pushback as far as a Warhorse Studios. But, you know, of course, when they ended up selling immensely as far as, you know, the over 2 million within the first two weeks, of course, them and then the publisher Deep Silver had to celebrate that because we have to let these people who fund projects and gaming and new IP and things that nature that whenever you take a chance on the RPG, And maybe I'm a little biased because, of course, with buyerware is going through right now, as far as having, like, five people working for them right now. They're going through a lot of consolidation, which is very unfortunate for people losing their job. But these type of Ws, as far as Kingdom come, makes it look like if you put the effort and quality into a game,
Starting point is 04:01:29 it could. It could and most times sales as far as on the grand scheme of things. Because sometimes people who fund these type of games, they never have hope in the first place, because it's not a live service or it doesn't have a ball in the gun. So with that being said, there's upcoming DLC for this game for spring 2025, which is going to be, is going to be a free update and they're bringing a barber function.
Starting point is 04:01:51 Okay, they're bringing out the clippers and the update. And then, of course, horse racing is upcoming in this game and a hardcore mode. And then with that being said, there is announcement, there was an announcement for summer 2025 DLC titled Brushes with death, which is a new mystery-driven story featuring Henry and a mod support coming via Steamworks. So that's pretty significant, especially for people who aren't enjoying the game right now, which,
Starting point is 04:02:22 you know, according to the analytics, it's definitely a lot. So as far as impacting the masses, of course, they're going to have a lot of competition to go alongside it, which civilization was about to get into next, avowed, Monster Hunter, Wilds, like a dragon, pirate yakuza, in Hawaii those type of games would definitely give this game more competition from a number standpoint because now the masses have a lot of newer games to choose from as far as what they want to play and spend their hours into because of course like I said this game main story 40 to 50 hours and then of course the full completion is 80 to 100 with side quests and exploration so with that being said you got to you got to you know put a significant portion of your life into this game
Starting point is 04:03:06 let's just put it like that so uh overall this game the score phenomenal with i g and gave it a nine at a 10 a pc gamer given and a nine out of 10 all of these are nine and 10 out of 10s like this is actually may end up being a contender for game of the year the way that all the uh game and conglomerates have gave it a perfect score or near perfect score i mean i think the lowest score was from metacritic technically no no the shortcut where it says 87 out of of 100 which most of if not all the other oh medicare did give it 87 out of 100 but for the most part is either nine out of 10 or a 10 at 10 so what does that tell you obviously a lot of people across the board are enjoying this game and with these perfect or near perfect scores that basically letting the public know that
Starting point is 04:03:54 this game could end up being a contender for game of the year and despite it being a top selling RPG analytically on a quality level is still top tier as well so those are due Those are two attributes that could definitely lead to you being a contender for game of the year. So with that being said, click my link to your in my bio. Let me know one of my social medias. What do you think about kingdom come delinference to? And if you're looking for an RPG game to get into, will you be trying this game out?
