Starting point is 00:00:32 What's going on, Internet, analytic here, aka Dreams, and I would like to welcome you to mine, which I call the notorious Mass Effect podcast. Now, of course, you already know I'm your gaming and music news source diving deep into both industries with data-driven analysis to give you a clearer understanding of both cultures. Drop a bomb for that one. Hold on now.
Starting point is 00:01:03 Now, with that out of the way, obviously you see, the title of the episode. So of course, as far as showcasing the title, Analytic Dreams video on Spotify to say the video along with the audio, but of course for the audio only listeners, I have to tell you, the title of episode 154 is Xbox officially concedes. And I mean concedes the console war to PlayStation.
Starting point is 00:01:30 Sad Day in History. Shepard, just look at the state of gaming. Like, what is going? on because when it comes to Microsoft gaming, safe to say that the CEO came out and gave the most egregious statement known the man. And what was that? Ladies and gentlemen, safe to say, I did not have it pulled up before this intro. So, you know, when it comes to that, safe to say, I'm definitely looking at it as we speak. So anyways, basically what I'm saying, as far as the title being Xbox officially concedes the console word of PlayStation
Starting point is 00:02:09 the reason why I say that is because the Microsoft CEO yes ladies and gentlemen not some random guy across the street telling you that his sources is believe me you guys but actually the Microsoft CEO came out and said that he's that they are as far as a company they are not competing with PlayStation they're competing with TikTok and other was TikTok is something else. Actually, let me see. So I have the actual thing put up now. I think I do. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:02:40 All right. In an interview, the current CEO of Microsoft claim that they don't view Nintendo and PlayStation as their main competitors. Hold on now. Is this a direct quote? Of course it is. Let's keep going. He said instead, their biggest competition is social media, huh?
Starting point is 00:02:57 You guys. See, that's the problem. In short form media sites like TikTok, And we even have a quote, ladies and gentlemen. Quote, gaming's competition is not other than, it's not other gaming.
Starting point is 00:03:14 Gaming's competition is short form video. Shepherd, just look at the state of gaming. Like, what is going on? Now, with that out the way, of course, we're going to get into the topics of episode 154, but I would be, um, it would be ignoring the elephant in the room.
Starting point is 00:03:33 if I did not tell y'all that was a little a little under the weather sad to say so anyways with that being said as far as me being under the weather hopefully it doesn't come across too much but I already know I sound crazy to the point where I had to
Starting point is 00:03:49 pull up this Hall of Fame SpongeBob clip to let y'all know how I feel and how I sound or how I think I sound I don't know as far as after the fact maybe it'll sound a little better but this is how I feel like right now this is this is exactly a depiction of how I feel.
Starting point is 00:04:07 Sandy, I'm sick. Can you escort me to the doctors? This I feel. Oh, sure, SpongeBob. I'll be over there faster than a barefoot jackrabbit on a hot, greasy griddle in the middle of August. Yeah, okay, Sandy, thanks. So, yeah, you know, essentially speaking,
Starting point is 00:04:23 your boy's a little under the weather. But that is okay, because, of course, this intro is going to get done. It's going to get done one way or another. So anyways, that'd be it safe. Episode 154, we're getting into a plethora of, topics. I mean, covering the entire music and gaming industry. So, of course,
Starting point is 00:04:39 you already know we had to start off with Taylor Swift, The Life of a Showgirl. And of course, I'm going to put the episode cover on full screen while you get to watch it. Of course, we'll get into Drake Iceman and his lawsuit and things in nature as far as him going against Side 7. I mean,
Starting point is 00:04:57 Kendrick Lamar. And then, of course, in being young boy, we get into his tour and the overall revenue that he's been generating. And then when it to uh I'm off the fault the beat was a little loud when it comes to bad bunny when again to him and his Super Bowl halftime show announcement when it comes to the industry you already know that man did he will not leave the baby oil alone you guys see that's the problem so he just got sentenced to four years over the man act
Starting point is 00:05:25 violation and of course Xbox is over here raising prices left and right because of course they're done competing with PlayStation they said what is consumer-friendly when you lose in the war so anyways um when it comes to xbox when it comes to playstation uh safe to say that they are no longer competing let xbox tell it because um they're competing with short form video whatever that means so uh yeah they're raising prices left and right as far as the game passed and they conceded the console war which is one of the main points to come out of this month as far as the evolution of gaming and then uh ea so for a whopping 55 billion man drop a ball for that one. Goodness gracious.
Starting point is 00:06:08 $55 billion to Jared Kushner and Saudi investors. So when it comes to that, of course, then you know we got to get into the gaming landscape as there's a reason why trying to point towards it. There's a reason why certain someone is on the cover of the
Starting point is 00:06:24 gaming side is because not only did I title this, Xbox officially concedes the console war of PlayStation, but Ghost of Yote, I do believe, let me go full screen for this one. I do believe Ghost of Yote is a contender. for game of the year. Yep, I said it. And guess what?
Starting point is 00:06:40 Not only is Ghost of Yote's such a phenomenal game, but guess the platforms is on, exclusively on PlayStation. Shepard. Just look at the state of gaming. Like, what is going on? So not only is PlayStation still giving BTA to Xbox when it comes to quality, well, to play devil's advocate.
Starting point is 00:07:00 Technically, Xbox also has Expedition 33. But you get the point. As far as higher quality, Expedition 33, I believe, is also on PlayStation. So when it comes to that, PlayStation still has the higher quality of games as a whole when it comes to exclusively if you was going to pick a console. So EA sold out. They're basically like, you know what?
Starting point is 00:07:21 We don't even care about all that. Microsoft don't seem like they're going upwards anytime soon. I mean, the stocks are. But as far as gaming, we don't know what is up in the air. So they basically sold out for $55 billion. Only God knows what's about to happen to those EA. properties about to be micro transactions through to you know what but guess what that's what that's what happened so we're going to get into that and then of course gaming we come into a silent
Starting point is 00:07:46 hill f and of course since it was in october you know it was spooky season this is the episode that was in spooky season um silent hill f is definitely one of the games that transcended a lot of other horror games as far as in the specific month of october for 2025 so we got into that as far as the sales and review roundup We talked about Ghost of Yote and how Ghost of Yote, interestingly enough, like I keep saying, as one of the dark horse candidates for Game of the Year. It's a really, really solid game and solid to the point where a lot of people are preferring Atsu over the main character of Ghost of Tashima.
Starting point is 00:08:23 And that's a huge compliment, I would say. So I don't think it will win Game of the Year because last time Ghost of Tashima was up for Game of the Year, but lost out to The Last of Us 2. That specific year, I don't even think is coming close to this year. This year you have split fiction, you have Expedition 33, you have Ghost of Yote, Holonay Silk Song, what else? Some people would say death stranding too. I feel like it's very much an acquired taste, but it's a phenomenal game for people
Starting point is 00:08:50 who enjoy just delivering packages, which I believe is not many. So, hey, do have that what you will. And then, of course, this is a bunch of games. Kazan, that game was pretty solid. but I would probably say Donkey Kong Bonanza may get a nomination for Game of the Year. As far as shooters, oh, don't even get me started with shooters. I believe, it may be a hot take, but I believe ready or not. I know it's been out for a minute.
Starting point is 00:09:18 But as far as the console version, I think is one of the better first-person shooters I played in a minute. Now, I may be a little biased because I played it with my cousin. I also play split fiction with my cousin, which, you know, we only have one month left, but split fiction is probably going to end up being my game of the year. So I may be a little biased because I played it with my cousin, but guess what? I don't care. So, yeah, I would say ready or not was definitely a standout as far as the overall package of games, Pulse.
Starting point is 00:09:49 You guys. So anyways, and then we're going to get into EAFC26. We're going to get into Little Nightmares 3. We're going to get into Pokemon Z. hyphen A, get into Last War, the mobile game. Yes, ladies and gentlemen, we're finally breaking down the biggest controversy in mobile gaming. Is Last War a real game or not? Shepard.
Starting point is 00:10:13 Just look at the state of gaming. Like, what is going on? Because everybody was looking at the ads of the different mobile games. We were you sliding to the left, sliding to the right to take out zombies and to also increase your army. And then they came to realize. The actual game that a lot of fake ads was based off of doesn't have that overall mechanic throughout the whole entire storyline. It's really just like less than 1% of the gameplay.
Starting point is 00:10:40 So I broke down why Last War Mobile has received so much support, but also scrutiny because of the overall marketing strategy from ads that didn't even have a game in the first place. But anyways, I dive into that specifically as far as Last War of the mobile game. Then we're going to get into Battlefield 6, as you already know. Bloods and Crips have nothing on Battlefield and Call of Duty. Drop a bomb for that one. When it comes to Battlefield versus Call of Duty, safe to say.
Starting point is 00:11:15 Call of Duty puts BTA on the entire gaming and music industry time and time again, to the point where somebody's probably looking at them saying, I know that ain't who I think it is. Every time a game development studio looks at the top of the charts, year after year after year and they see Call of Duty up there, they probably say to themselves. I know that ain't who I think it is.
Starting point is 00:11:34 They probably hear the consumers of the gaming industry saying to themselves, you know what? We do not want to support Caller Duty because they keep putting out the same product and guess what happens at the end of every single year
Starting point is 00:11:45 when they look at the game that sold the most. I know that ain't who I think it is. So putting the hypocrisy to the side, it does seem like 2025 maybe the first year where Battlefield field will outsell call of duty now to be fair call of duty uh let me see so call of duty
Starting point is 00:12:06 black up six i don't think it comes out to uh not black up six it's black up seven right so yeah okay so technically call of duty black up seven doesn't come out to november 14th of this year so you're pushing it to like the middle of this month and now you only have half a month and another full month to like try to garner more sales in the year of 2025. So some could look at the overall sales
Starting point is 00:12:37 of just Call of Duty in general and then you have to look at the latest installment that's out right now as far as Blackop Six. And when you look at that, safe to say that Call of Duty is still putting BTA on the entire gaming industry. But Battlefield
Starting point is 00:12:53 is ahead of them as of right now. Actually no. Call of Duty is the fourth most, we're going to get into it, right? But I just, you know, specifically for that point, Collard Duty is still ahead of Battlefield. So, yeah.
Starting point is 00:13:07 Yeah, safe to say, game developers are still going to look at their charts and say to it themselves. I know that ain't who I think it is. But, I mean, on Steam, Battlefield's, like, way higher than Call of Duty,
Starting point is 00:13:20 which I don't think Call of Duty has the biggest fan base on Steam. It's more console. So, and Battlefield, no, Call of Duty in general is over battlefield as far as our console. But we're going to get into that in a second. Obviously that's what we do
Starting point is 00:13:33 towards the end of this intro. So then we transition from gaming into a little bit of drama because you know we have to end off the episode with a little drama. So of course we're going to get into Emeru versus Twitch, which is a very serious situation
Starting point is 00:13:49 that I wanted to give the proper amount of coverage to because of course, Emiru versus Twitch. And the handling of the assault that she had the assault on her at TwitchCon and the way that Twitch handled it safe to say that Emmeroo and Twitch are going to be at odds for the foreseeable future because of people pointing out how
Starting point is 00:14:12 how careless Twitch was as far as the response apparently Emmeroo was saying that Twitch lied in a lot of their written responses so when we get into it specifically and in depth, you're going to realize a certain information that you probably wasn't even aware of that Twitch just blatantly lied about. So when it comes to Amaru versus Twitch, we're going to get into that.
Starting point is 00:14:39 And then of course, we're going to get into Drake versus side seven, I mean, white tank top, as you already know they had their back and forth. And of course, the lawsuit has finally, the lawsuit saga has finally came to an end as we dive into Drake's defamation lawsuit over not like us being dismissed and that happened back on October 14th of 2025.
Starting point is 00:15:03 And then of course you have Drake and Steak as they're also being sued in a class action lawsuit for deceptive online gambling practices. Is it okay I got my dope on me? So as far as my favorite rapper, let's just say he has a lot of interesting battles in the courtroom.
Starting point is 00:15:26 still ahead of him even after the huge battle with side seven as far as the lawsuit so now last but definitely not least began to NLE chopper versus NBA young boy which is really just NLE chopper trying to tell it be a young boy that he wants to be friends he's like please NBA young boy can we be friends and NBA young boy looking at NLE chopper he probably saying to himself who do that man could care less and only chopper really wants to be NBA boy's friend. And guess what NBA young boy keeps saying? What they do? Saddened history. And then of course, I know I said that that I know I said that was the end, but guess what? There's a specific side of this episode that I haven't even touched on yet.
Starting point is 00:16:11 Pause. You guys. And what am I talking about? Well, of course, I am talking about the other half of the episode, which you can see is your boy going to New York Comic Con. Drop a bomb for that one. And not only, hold on, let me go full screen for this one. Not only did we go to New York Comic-Con, but we may or may not have, we may or may not have been invited to the Invincible VIP event where we got early hands-on-time with Cecil Stedman. Now, if you don't watch Invincible, you don't know who Cecil Stedman is, but as far as the Invincible VIP event, as far as them inviting me out,
Starting point is 00:16:56 so I even had a reason to go to New York, which, you know, also Comic-Con was going, so I stopped by there. It was a huge, just a hugely nerdy event. And I was, I felt like I was at home. A lot of people just dressing up, you already know for the podcast. You know what I'm saying? The people on the hip-hop side still think I'm a lesbian.
Starting point is 00:17:17 To this day, I'm like, hold on now. They don't know about Mass Effect. Shepard. Nah, bro, they'd be over here just disrespecting the game. I call my favorite, you know what I'm saying, time and time again, you know what I'm saying? Shepard. All right, my phone.
Starting point is 00:17:29 Let me move on. when it comes to the game in side of things you know they're uh very expressive as far as what they wear and the different IPs that they enjoy say as you can see in a cover somebody dressing as malice morales which the material was on point to the point where i'm like are these professional cosplayers like literally new york comic con i think new san diego comic conicine is like the biggest comic con events so when it comes to that i do believe that a lot of people put on their best outing uh the best outfit to cosplay in because it's a very serious event as far as we're not serious but you know people take it
Starting point is 00:18:05 serious as far as showing respects to the IPs that they love and you know me with my n7 jacket you know what I'm saying I'll show a little to mass effect so uh with that being said the overall new york comic con vlog will be put at the end of this episode but it will be shortened so as you can see right here there's a specific reason why it's going to be shortened because I do not want the people who subscribe to NME Plus to feel like the quality is given out when they have to subscribe for it. So the main thing is giving y'all a shortened snapshot of the vlog just so you know exactly what's going on. So I'm trying to find it. Okay, I found it. All right. So as far as the vlog, this is what it looks like. So, and this is why I don't promote it a lot because in general,
Starting point is 00:18:59 this is for the core fans that really want more from notorious bass effect as far as different uh vlogs and uh of course the mass effect legendary edition gameplay walkthrough and uh what else you know the trash rapper that be popping up on my live streams you know shameless plug to my live streams but the the trash rapper that be popping up to my live streams time in and time out safe to say that he may or may not have certain uh music for the masses to enjoy as far as on the subscriptions here and then of course we have a whole fitness vlog going on that we're calling the biggest
Starting point is 00:19:38 loser, analytic dreams addition. So if you want to see somebody putting in work to try to show you an overall blueprint that will work for you, it was safe to say, and your boy has a little experience in the fitness field. You know, I only play, you know, collegiate sports,
Starting point is 00:19:54 not too crazy, you know what I'm saying? I ain't really trying to brag. I ain't really trying to brag, though, you know? So, yeah, fitness a fitness vlog going on as far as a fitness journey and detailing what you should do as far as lifestyle habits and things that nature. I detail a lot of things I use in my own life
Starting point is 00:20:12 as far as working out and things of that nature. And I know I'm sick right now, but look at my track record. Your boy's not sick a lot. So if I do get sick, it had to be something serious that caught me because I'd be taking all type of vitamins, you know what I mean?
Starting point is 00:20:25 Be making sure my immune system is as strong as ever. So usually I'm not sick often, which, you know, long time listeners so I didn't know that. So, when it comes to that, because I don't get sick often, my mom got worried. She was like,
Starting point is 00:20:39 you need to go to a doctor, you know, stuff like that. Because if I get sick, like, for real, that means something like, I must ran into like the COVID.
Starting point is 00:20:46 I was about to say the COVID is of COVID. But I don't even know if that's a term or a phrase where it is now. So anyways, I'll probably be able to get checked out just to make sure I ain't run into nothing crazy. But what else? So yeah, so fitness journey, uh,
Starting point is 00:21:00 exclusive music. Mass Effect Legendary Edition, gameplay walkthrough, and of course a plethora of vlogs, which as you can see right now, one came out this month as far as October. Well, last month, technically. And it was the New York vlog. It was the Invisible VIP event vlog. And of course, it was the other part, which I say and more. But the other part was me walking around New York in general, vlogging it,
Starting point is 00:21:29 vlogging my experience walking around New York. And let's you say, we ran to a lot of different content creators, which was crazy. And they showed a lot of love. You know, you never know, you never know going to a new place what can happen. You know what I'm saying? Somebody could have been like, and told the police, like, hold on now. I mean, actually, they don't make sense. Somebody could have robbed me, and then I would have had to be like,
Starting point is 00:21:48 so as far as walking around New York, it was a pleasant experience, had no problems, ran into so many content creators. And, yeah, that full vlog is up now. But as far as the shortened version, it's going to be uploaded at the end of the episode is going to be shortened and then of course i have i finally have a tag to put at the end of nm e plus videos that i want to put out on other platforms it's the shortened version so to let them know is the shortened version i think i think this is what i'm going to put up at the end of it so i was going to give you a little sneak peek let me let me know if y'all messing with this right here and of
Starting point is 00:22:24 course of course i recorded this indefinite type of tag at the end of my shortened nmee plus videos while I was sick but this is what sounds like right here. Hold on now. Were you enjoying that? All right. Y'all can't hear that at all. My fault. I'm trying to be a W tech guy.
Starting point is 00:22:42 Here we go. Ah, here we go. You know, you just got raised the volume a little bit. Hopefully that's not too loud. I guess we're going to find out. Let's see. Hold on now. All right, that's not too bad.
Starting point is 00:22:55 All right, cool. This is the tag I'm going to use at the end of my enemy plus videos for the other platforms. just to let them know where they can find the full video so let me know what y'all think in the comment section and obviously you know here it is right here hold them now were you enjoying that well safe to say that the full video offering is on nm e plus and of course all you have to do to join the normandy for additional bonus audio and visual content is to go to my link tree in my bio and just click on the tab that says nm e plus to be directly sent towards the platform so you can subscribe
Starting point is 00:23:33 hold them now were you enjoying all right so that was basically it so that's that's where i'm play like at the end of all my uh enemy video in m m m m plus videos that i shortened for other platforms that's basically where i'm gonna play at the end of it so and let me put this back down all right cool So I just wanted to give y'all a little sneak peek on what that's going to sound like But also as far as The rest of the episode Just know we are going to get into gaming We are going to get some music
Starting point is 00:24:04 So we're going to do that right now But of course Let's see Was there something else? Oh no, that was basically it Oh yeah So as you can tell Your boy's a little out of it
Starting point is 00:24:18 As far as medication We medicated through the roof but we followed the rules. So we're not just over-medicating. We just, you know, medicating the illness, whatever. Y'all got the point. All right, so let's get into the music part of the notorious mass effect and dive into the albums and singles that are notoriously affecting the masses.
Starting point is 00:24:41 Getting into the albums that are notoriously impacting the masses, it's safe to say none of the top 10 really surprises me except except for when we look at number four as ladies and gentlemen analytic dreams video on spotify to see the video along with the audio because right now we're going over the top 10 list according to billboard and when you look at it right you see that UMG has 67% of the entire music market share Sony has 16% Warner has 15% and then the others which is really independent artists and smaller labels they have a whopping
Starting point is 00:25:21 2% which basically shows you how hard it is to affect the masses when you don't have a major label not saying it's impossible I'm basically just saying that it's very hard it's very difficult as you can see right here analytically speaking so getting into the top 10 I already said this right here number four who do we have here what in the world I don't even think I covered this once so shout out to Daniel Caesar his album son of Spurgy for coming in at number four for whenever it's highlighted this as far as like a creamish type of color it's uh it's first week so it's 44,000 first week sales for daniel caesar and whenever it's like a cream
Starting point is 00:26:04 color like that it means it just came out so shout out to daniel caesar but coming at the gate having the 44 having the fourth most play album in the world but that definitely surprised me the most as when we get to the top 10 it's pretty much the same aside from whoever this is right here i don't know who they i haven't covered this artist either i don't know who this is brandy carly i don't know i don't know who that is so anyways starting off with number 10 obviously you see right here we got the one and only scissor and you know as far as somebody who straight up just backpacks somebody on the charts scissor needs a backpacker the year award for what she did the size 7 i mean uh kentrick like come on now but then you know what i'm saying i was like damn look at the state of hip-hop
Starting point is 00:26:49 Like when you really look at the way that Sizzle was backpacking Kendrick on the charts, a phenomenal feat. I mean, Luther 30 for 30 straight up heat as far as engagement factor. And then Luther, I think it was the last rap track to be in the top 30, which, you know, made history because of course when I reported on it as far as as no rap songs being in the Billboard top 40 for the first time in 35 years, I covered that October 31st of this year and essentially speaking this hasn't happened in a while i mean 35 years so you know it's been a while right so luther was the last track hanging on and even that one was technically like an rnb
Starting point is 00:27:31 track because luther is more of an rnb track than it is a rap track so anyways ciza comes in number 10 as far as sOS being the 10th most play album in the world and then you have demi lavato her album is not that deep coming in at number nine as you can see as a creamish color so basically is his first week. So Demi Lovato, so 30,000 first week. Shout to her. She's under UMG. Definitely helped out with the overall market share of UMG.
Starting point is 00:28:00 And then, of course, we have the one and only Cardi B, and I already know somebody is not upset about, somebody is definitely irate about this. But then, you know what I'm saying? I'm like, damn, look at the state of hip hop. Like, what's going to know? I'm not going to let you know who the individual it is. So when it comes
Starting point is 00:28:16 to Cardi B, safe to say her album that came out September 19th of this year November 6th 2025 and it's still the eighth most played album in the world selling 32,000 I still think that's a solid outing especially for Cardi B
Starting point is 00:28:33 some people was wanting her to stay in the top three for like months to come but you know when it comes to Cardi B she took so much of her hiatus the I think that these numbers are still respectable because keep in mind Cardi B's album Am I the Drama came out
Starting point is 00:28:49 this year but invasion of privacy came out in 2018 so when it comes that um shout out to cardie for having an eighth most play album still in the world and then we have brandy car lily i think this is how you say her name uh returning to myself which is the seventh most play album in the world shout to her for debuting her album with 36 000 first week sales and then you have olivia dean with her album the art of loving which is the 38th most uh oh no it's a six it's a It's the sixth most play album in the world. And then of course we have Sabrina Carpenter with her album, Man's Best Friend.
Starting point is 00:29:25 That's the fifth most play album in the world. Daniel Caesar, I already talked about, has the fourth most play album in the world with his album, son of Spurgy. Then you have Morgan Wallin. Why my beat go off? I feel like Chief, was it Chief Keith? Did the beat go off?
Starting point is 00:29:40 That's off for it right now. All right, there we go. Daniel Caesar with his album, son of Spurgy, which is the fourth most play album. in the world and then you have morgan wallin i'm the problem and he has the third most play album in the world and safe to say morgan wallen has had one of the most phenomenal years of 2025 when it comes to putting out music because of course we only have one more month left as far as the year safe to say that man morgan wallin has had the best success when it came to and affected the masses
Starting point is 00:30:14 with his album i'm the problem as he put this out may 16th of this year year is November 6th of 2025 and he still is in the top three and he sold 75,000. So him having a top three most play album for the entire year after he put it out May 16th just shows you that Morgan Wallen objectively speaking because he you know he's had it out longer than Taylor Swift and K-pop demon hunter. So safe to say, he definitely has had the longer run. in the top three to make it to wear, objectively speaking, Morgan Wallen has put BT on the entire music industry.
Starting point is 00:30:56 He's been putting up phenomenal numbers. But is the billboard is going to recognize that? I think they have to, but as far as Grammys, you already know that Morgan Wallin was using the N-word like it was going out of the style. So it's safe to say, he's not going to have any Grammy nominations because, you know, I'm not mad at it. Somebody says the N-word is, you know, is not black.
Starting point is 00:31:17 You know what I don't think. The Grammys take too kind to that, especially the way that they caught him on video, saying the N-word like he's been saying that for a minute. But anyways, shout to Morton Wallet for having a third most play album in the world with Omna Problem, but hey, don't expect any Grammy nominations anytime soon. And we have K-pop Demon Hunters. With their soundtrack being the second-most play project in the world, safe to say, K-pop Demon Hunters, on the other hand, has had the most successful soundtrack ever.
Starting point is 00:31:49 now in the past four or five 10 years the most successful soundtrack that we've ever seen has came from k-pop demon hunters and if you watch the movie which you know stainless plug i reviewed the movie if you just type in k-pop demon hunters analytic dreams with a z it should pop up but i reviewed the movie you already know the type of coverage i've been having for k-pop demon hunters to the point where the first time i ever covered them was june 30th of this year so I've been covering them for a minute and I think the numbers that they've been putting up is an understatement to say that they ran 2025. But from a soundtrack perspective, not Frozen, not Encanto,
Starting point is 00:32:36 K-pop Demon Hunters soundtrack is the most successful soundtrack that we've ever seen in life. So that being said, Taylor Swift, Taylor Swift, the biggest gangster in the music industry to the point where when she came out and a whopping 4.1 million copies first week. Drop a bomb for that. Taylor Swift's outing was so crazy that UMG's market share as you can see right now is 67% right. When Taylor Swift came out the gate and sold a four million plus first week, breaking all type of records mind you. UMG's market share was around 90 something percent and I'm never seen in the 90s ever in my entire tenure of covering
Starting point is 00:33:24 the gaming and music industry. So whenever Taylor Swift drops, the market share definitely reflects that. As UMG was glad that they could take credit for the life of a showgirl putting up such phenomenal numbers compared to the field. So as far as, let me see when Taylor put out this album, because it wasn't too long ago. So as far as the life of a showgirl coming out, October 3rd is November 6th of this year, and it's still the top most play is the most played project in the world selling around 143,000 this week so the round off the top 10 albums affecting the masses at number 10 we have
Starting point is 00:34:06 sis a sOS number nine we have demi levato is not that deep cardi b with her album am i the drama coming in at number eight brandy car lily returning to myself coming in at number seven Olivia Dean, The Art of Loving, coming in at number six. Sabrina Carpenter with her album, Man's Best Friend, coming in number five. Daniel Caesar, with his album Son of Spurgy, coming in number four. Morgan Wallin, with his album, I'm the Problem, coming in number three. K-pop Demon Hunters with their soundtrack coming in and number two. And of course, the biggest gangster in the industry, once more,
Starting point is 00:34:44 comes in and number one of having the most played project in the world. So shout out to T. Swift. And shout out to K-pop demon hunters. I'm not going to lie to you. As a content creator, I will say K-pop demon hunter support we like this. For the year of 2025,
Starting point is 00:35:03 I will always remember how y'all helped me down because when it came to K-pop coverage, y'all was supporting in droves. Well, y'all still are. You know, but I'm just saying, like, as far as the entire year. So anyways, now it's time to get into the singles
Starting point is 00:35:18 and starting with Leon Thomas, his track Mutt is still doing phenomenal under charge. As you can see right here, analytic dreams video on Spotify to see the video along with the audio. But as you can see right here, we have our boy Leon Thomas coming in at number 10 as far as having the most played track in the world. Been under charge for about 30 weeks. So shout to him for that. Let me see if it was 30 weeks. I know the screenshot kind of made the numbers kind of fuzzy. okay 39 weeks so it um mutt has been on the charts for 39 weeks and it's been climbing the ranks
Starting point is 00:35:55 and now is currently the 10th most played track in the world which as you can see is this peak you can see it right here me try to make sure y'all can see it as well as you can see right here his peak is at 10 oh shit uh let's see oh my goodness who in the world who in the world gave me a market man i'm just going to circle all this now we just go on You're just going to use an arrow. How about that? How about that? There we go.
Starting point is 00:36:28 Y'all like the arrow. Anyways, y'all should be able to see that. Essentially, it says peak and then 10. So I don't know what Leon Thomas is doing. I think it's because he just put out an EP, which if he didn't know, Leon Thomas' EP is titled, Leon Thomas just put out an EP titled Folks.
Starting point is 00:36:46 P-H-O-L-K-S. He put it out October 24th. Only one feature on it is four-back. is seven tracks total 21 minutes in length so I don't know if the EP folks helped him out as far as the mut placement because you know sometimes you put out a new project and it makes people go listen to your old music a little bit more so shout to Leon Thomas for having mutt at the top 10 as far as number 10 specifically and one of the most popular tracks involved in in the year of 2025 And then we have Mark and Wallen.
Starting point is 00:37:23 His track I got better. It's the ninth most play track in the world. And then you have Taylor Swift, Elizabeth Taylor, which is the eighth most played track in the world. I'm not going to lie to you. When it comes to Taylor Swift, I told you all that I listened to Taylor Swift's album, right? So now, when I'm looking at Taylor Swift
Starting point is 00:37:42 and looking at the overall quality of her album, I really enjoyed the track, Honey. I thought that was the one right there. I thought Honey was the hit. And then I did like it. No, actually I did like Elizabeth Taylor. Okay, yeah. So those are the two that was a standouts for me.
Starting point is 00:37:59 And interestingly enough, you see Elizabeth Taylor in the top ten. Now, you know, I'm not going to say that I called it because I thought Honey would have been like a smash hit, but it's not the top ten which, you know, just okay, I say all this time. Just because you sell a lot does not mean you make the highest quality, but just because you don't sell a lot,
Starting point is 00:38:16 it's not mean you make just straight up abysmal. music the two do not coilate so it is nice to see Elizabeth Taylor up here but let's just say my two favorite tracks was honey and Elizabeth Taylor off of the Taylor Swift album because obviously obviously Taylor Swift's team is probably
Starting point is 00:38:32 thinking to themselves this is the exact demographic that we're trying to target you know what I'm saying when you look when you go to a Taylor Swift concert obviously you assume to see people like me showing up to the concert right all right anyways so anyways um
Starting point is 00:38:49 Taylor Swift Elizabeth Taylor was the eighth most played track in the world then you have uh folded by Kalani which is the seventh most played track in the world and shout out to the OG shout out to the OGs for coming out in droves to support Kalani because when it comes to Kalani right
Starting point is 00:39:06 her track folded received an Amish pack that just came out October 24th has Tony Braxton brandy Jojo, Mario, Neo, Tank. Safe to say that she had all the legends coming out, except for a couple of R&B legends.
Starting point is 00:39:27 But, you know, hey, that's just me, you know what I'm saying? I know that ain't who I think it is. I know I saw a surname on there, Mario Neo Tank, and I'm just thinking to myself, you ain't think to call anybody else? You guys. See, that's the problem. But, you know, like I pointed out
Starting point is 00:39:46 when I was covering the track, Chris Brown and Kalani were technically competing as far as R&B track. Because if you don't know, Chris Brown currently has one of the more popular R&B tracks in the world. It's like Leon Thomas, Kalani, and then Chris Brown. So Chris Brown and his track, it depends, is the 19th most played track in the world currently. And it's been on the charts for about 14 weeks folded. as you can see right here has been under trial for about 20 weeks and now is the seventh most played track but as you can see right here put a little arrow as you can see right here what does that say
Starting point is 00:40:28 last week last week it was at 14 it depends was at 19 for chris brown that's why i kept saying there's not going to be a chris brown remix for folded or an usher remix because usher helped out chris brown as far as the it depends remix and when it comes to kalani i felt like it was a lot of the politic games behind the scene to champion a certain R&B track. And you already know Chris Brown's track record. So I'm not saying that the Grammys wouldn't try to give him the award because I feel like he's becoming more in the good graces of the award shows. All I'm saying is Kalani and Chris Brown not collaborating for a reason. It's because they're competing.
Starting point is 00:41:08 I believe they're competing. Folded, it depends, should be up there for R&B song of the year. So I'm not saying they couldn't help each other out, but I'm just saying that the probably is probably healthy or unhealthy competition as far as these two tracks. So anyways, shout out to Foldit being the seventh most played track in the world. Then we have Justin Bieber and his track, Daisies, being the sixth most played track in the world. We have Olivia Dean, Man I Need, being the fifth most played track in the world. Taylor Swift once again with her track, Opelight being the fourth most play track in the world. Ordinary by Alex Warren is the third most played track in the world.
Starting point is 00:41:46 world golden by basically k-pop demon hutches is the second most played track and then of course at number one you have the biggest gangster in the music industry once more with the fate of the fate of affiliate coming in as the most played track in the world currently so the round off the top ten we have leon thomas mutt which is currently leon thomas mutt which is currently the 10th most play track in the world we have Morgan wall and I got better at number nine Elizabeth Taylor Taylor Taylor Swift at number eight folded by Kalani and number seven daisies by Justin Bieber and number six man I need by Olivia Dean at number five opalite by Taylor Swift at number four ordinary by Alex Warren at number three and then of course golden by cable K-pop demon hunters and
Starting point is 00:42:44 number two and then number one once more just like the album the fate of affiliate by taylor swift is the most popular track in the world so shout out to taylor swift for showcasing why i put so much immense respect on her name when it comes to notoriously affecting the masses because when it comes to this podcast this is a this is the unequivocal king of what we talk about well queen i guess and we're talking about as far as affecting the masses analytically right analytic dreams notorious mass effect this this is the definition taylor swift dropping four million in her first week still having the most played project still having what one two you see one two three still having three tracks in the top ten i mean this is just it just it just shows you that
Starting point is 00:43:37 taylor swift is on a whole other level so shout to her but with that being said let's switch and get into the top games on specific platforms that is affecting the masses. Starting off with Steam, you already know we have to look at the top 15. Hold on now. Am I a rapper? But then you know what I'm saying? I'm like, damn, look at the state of hip hop. Like, what's going on? I'm going to make that into a track or something, you know what I'm saying? All right, my fault.
Starting point is 00:44:02 So anyways, get into the top 15 on Steam. Safe to Save to Save, Marvel Rivals, as you can see right here, is on the list. It's towards the bottom, but technically. I'm a huge Marvel fan, so guess what? I don't care. Shepard, just look at the state of gaming. Like, what is going on? So this is what we're going to do.
Starting point is 00:44:22 Because of wallpaper engine, and I think that's it, right? So wallpaper engine, we're going to cut out, right? We're not going to count that as something a part of the list. So technically this is the top 14, I believe, now that we cut this out. So we're going to put 14 right here. If it doesn't add up to one, don't laugh at me. Just know, we're starting from the bottom. And we're going all the way up.
Starting point is 00:44:40 Pause. You guys. if that's a pulse. So anyways, Marvel Rivals, as you can see right here, comes in at number 14. And that's the worst 14 you ever seen,
Starting point is 00:44:50 but you get the point. So as you can see, they have a 24-hour peak of 77,000, 44,000 people currently playing the game. Shout out to Marvel Rivals, because, of course, the zombie mode, I believe,
Starting point is 00:45:01 was a significant hit, especially for people coming back to the game, but as you can see, and didn't keep people on it. So then we had Path to Exile coming in at 13 right here. as you can see the 24-hour peak is 118,000 and then the concurrent play account is 51,000.
Starting point is 00:45:21 I think I covered Path to Exile before, but I'm not sure. Let me see, Path. Yeah, I covered Path of Exile 2 back on December 23rd, 2024. So if you want to see my sales and review roundup of that, I do have sales and review roundup of Path and Exile 2. So I believe this is different. But anyways, Path of Exile comes in number 13. And then number 12
Starting point is 00:45:43 Goodness gracious These numbers are atrocious And number 12 I need like a piano or something There we go We have the Rocka Blade Point 24 hour pink of 115 000 concurrent player count
Starting point is 00:45:56 Of 62,000 And of course Moving on from the Rocka Blade Point We do have Limbiz Company As I believe When it comes to Limbis Company Did I ever cover that? Let me see, Limbis
Starting point is 00:46:08 Oh actually did September 28th of this year I cover Limbis Company I also cover on the Rock of Blade Point back on June 30th of this year. So the reason why I'm calling these out is because we're just going over the top 14 on Steam. I'm not getting into my deep dive of these games specifically. But if you was wanting to hear my deep dive, safe to say it's already on my podcast, which is why I'm telling you if I cover it or not.
Starting point is 00:46:31 So Apex Legends, you already know, not the OG, but one of the more significant games in the battle real scene, definitely switching it up as when it comes to, Apex Legends, it definitely deserves its flowers as when it comes to battle real formats, Apex Legends show that you can innovate in a world when you already have not only H1Z1, PubG, but of course, Fortnite. So when Apex Legends came and shook the game up with this innovative communication system, as far as the ping system being able to ping something and then the character say something to the other character so meaning that you don't have to talk as often I think that was one of the innovative factors of Apex Legends entering the battle reall format and really just the gaming format in general because now as you've seen were Arc Raiders the ping system and the callouts from the character I believe Apex Legends essentially showed the blueprint so that being said um getting it to escape from
Starting point is 00:47:41 Duckoff? Where in the world? I don't know what type of game this is, but anyways it comes at number nine. So number nine, we have Escape from Duck Off. As you can see, a 24-hour peak of 188,000 and then concurrent player count of 79,000. And then we have Delta 4 as a game that I've already
Starting point is 00:48:00 covered. So as you can see right here, if I can draw the letter. Hold up, there we go, the number 8. There we go. Hey, you got it down, got it done, but somehow I don't even know how I got that done honestly. Delta Force, I remember covering that all the way back on February 5th of this year, covering Delta Force and sales and review roundup if you was wanting to hear my deep dive
Starting point is 00:48:22 on that specific game. But Delta Force comes in number A on Steam as far as the most played game, 24-hour peak of 176,000. And then you have a concurrent player count of 83,000. And then we have the one and only Bongo Cat, what in the world? Shepard. Just look at the state of gaming. Like, what is going on?
Starting point is 00:48:45 And you already know I take my job seriously as yes, ladies and gentlemen, even for Bongo Cat. We have a review back on May 26 of this year. And I basically talk about how the internet loves cats and got into the overall gameplay mechanic of Bongo Cat. And while there's so many people really enjoying the game. So you'd be interested to hear that deep dive. Let's just put it like that. And then the one game that I basically said, in no world,
Starting point is 00:49:07 am I ever giving a deep dive on is banana. and that comes in in the number six so shout out the banana i'm never doing a deep dive bay you continue to notoriously affect the masses uh 170 170 000 as far as 24 hour peak 97 000 as far as concurrent players and then who do we have right here call a duty i mean uh battlefield comes in in number five as far as on steam it has a 24 hour peak of goodness gracious 355 000 and in a concurrent player count of 156,000. So shout out to Battlefield 6th, definitely making a notorious mass effect out the gate, especially since it just released not too long ago.
Starting point is 00:49:47 A lot of people seemingly really enjoying the game. And another shooter that came out not too long ago is Arc Raiders, has a 24-hour peak of 307,000 and of course, a concurrent player count of 163,000. So when it comes to Arc Rader, I don't have a sales and review roundup. up just yet but of course that's because it just came out not too long ago and um shameless plug i do have gameplay of arc raters the uh the i forget what was called the early axis or whatever the i'll forgive what they call it the the server slam you know they'd be coming up with all type of ways that basically saying you're testing out the game so the server slam i did have gameplay of that
Starting point is 00:50:29 so if you want to see that it's on analytic dreams video on spotify but me and my cousin play arc raders let's just say we had a wonderful time arc raiders definitely is shaping up to be one of the better shooters of the year and of course i like the way that they optimize uh the communication system kind of while i was talking about with apex legends the way you're able to talk to people even if you don't have a mic and then we have the one and only o g of uh of a battle real pub g battlegrounds comes in number three on steam 24 hour peak of 688 000 concurrent player count of 259,000 and of course
Starting point is 00:51:07 PubG is one of those OG Battle Real games that people still come back to because guess what? They basically lay the foundation for Fortnite because you look at H1Z1 crawling so PubG could walk and then you look at PubG
Starting point is 00:51:23 they basically walked so Fortnite can run fly and transverse universes because the way that Fortnite went crazy right after PubG Battlegrounds just shows you that if you innovate enough on the same format, people will flock towards it.
Starting point is 00:51:42 And Fortnite had the building mechanics to the point where it was so unique that a lot of people started gravitate to Fortnite over all the battle reouts. But especially on Steam, seems like people still enjoy PubG Battlegrounds. And of course, as you can see right here at number 10, Apex Legends. And then rounding off the top two, it never changes every time I cover this list. but number two we have doda two with a 24 hour peak of 7002 000 uh concurrent player
Starting point is 00:52:10 account of 390 000 and of course number one is never changing as counterstrike 2 currently and always is the most play game on steam so shout out to them a 24 hour peak of 1.4 million goodness gracious and a concurrent player count as 712 000 drop a CS bond for that one If you haven't picked up by now, that sound effect is literally from that game. So the real game is probably knew that. But you know, I just had to feel y'all in in case you was a newbie, right? Oh, my fault. Let's go back over to the top 14 just in sequence.
Starting point is 00:52:48 Let's see. So rounding off the top 14 games notoriously affecting the steam platform. We have Marvel rivals in number 14, Path of Exile, Number 13, Naraka, Blade Point, number 12, Limbus Company, and number 11. Apex Legends and number 10. Escape from Duckoff. And number 9. Delta Force in number 8.
Starting point is 00:53:10 Bongo Cat in number 7. Banana and number 6. Battlefield 6 and number 5. Arc Raiders. At number 4. PubG Battlegrounds at number 3. Dota 2 and number 2. And of course, the game that consistently stays at the top of steam.
Starting point is 00:53:27 Counterstrike 2. Now, that being said, let's switch gears and go from Steam to Xbox. as you already know when it comes to Xbox for some reason Minecraft consistently makes it way to the top 10 so when it comes to Minecraft currently is holding the first and fourth spot but of course who do we see right here arc Raiders is making a phenomenal effect currently on Xbox as it's number two and number three so Minecraft is number one and number four as far as the Minecraft, Java, and Bad Rock Edition
Starting point is 00:54:08 for PC coming in at number one. Minecraft, Java, and Bad Rock Edition Deluxe Collection coming in number four, but then you have Arc Raiders coming in at number two, and then Arc Raiders Deluxe Edition coming in at number three. So, make sure you get that three correct. There we go. There we go.
Starting point is 00:54:25 That's as the best as good as we're going to give. And then we have Jurassic World Evolution coming in at number five. safe to say when it comes to Jurassic World Evolution I wonder what you're doing the game Do you just survive? Like I remember the arcade games Where you're shooting dinosaurs and then you get to a part where you die
Starting point is 00:54:44 And then you know you got to re-refield the coins so you can keep going But as far as like an actual console game I wonder if it's that type of mechanics which is fleshed out So I'll be interested in the deep dive into that Obviously I haven't yet but you know it comes in number five So somebody's playing it Anyways Alan Wake comes in number six as far as the X box platform and of course seven through 10 we have uh Jurassic World again one in the
Starting point is 00:55:09 one the actual who out here playing Jurassic World uh Jurassic World like that so as far as seven uh the deluxe edition comes in at number seven for a Jurassic World and then No Man Sky comes in number eight who's your daddy goodness pulse you guys see that's the problem who's your daddy comes in number nine and then Power Wash Simulator 2 in number 10. I'm not going to lie to you. I've heard a lot of great things about simulated games in general as far as the therapeutic nature, as far as hopping on a simulator with your best gal or your best friend and just having fun in the world of simulation. Like really deep dive into people's enjoyment of simulation games and you'll realize that may be where
Starting point is 00:55:57 world peace could come from because it seems like everybody who likes simulation games says that it brings them a level of therapy and it's such a therapeutic uh game play loop that keeps them coming back so shout out to power watch two for being the 10th most play game on xbox but of course we have power watch two at number 10 who's your daddy number nine no man sky number eight Jurassic world evolution three deluxe edition and number seven and then getting into six through one one we have Alan Wake see there we go we have Alan Wake at number six was a six and then
Starting point is 00:56:44 Jurassic World Evolution three number five Minecraft and number four arc Raiders deluxe edition and number three arc Raiders and number two and then Minecraft Java bedrock edition for PC and number one so that rounds off the games that are notoriously affected masses on the Xbox platforms to switching games from Xbox getting into PlayStation you already know the Sony the Sony ponies are out here rejoicing and why are they rejoicing because basically Xbox threw in the towel they said guess what we're no longer competing with PlayStation so getting into the unequivocal best console on the market and the games notoriously affecting on that platform NBA 2k26 currently is the most play games
Starting point is 00:57:35 on PlayStation. Then you have Fortnite, which I've been contemplating covering the Fortnite and Simpsons collab, because it seems like when it comes to the recognition for the Simpsons entering the Fortnite world, it's way different than other
Starting point is 00:57:50 collaborations because they put the whole Simpson universe into Fortnite, it seems like. So like the whole map is like Simpsons now. And with callbacks to like things in certain Simpson episodes that you will only know if you was an avid Simpson fans. So I was thinking about covering that because it seems like they went all out for this Fortnite Simpsons collab.
Starting point is 00:58:08 But anyways, that's currently the second most play game on PlayStation. Then you have Madden NFL 26 being the third most play game on PlayStation. Call of Duty, which is the fourth most play game. And then look at this. What in the world? Safe to say. When it comes to Battlefield, I don't know what it is. I think, honestly, as you can see me struggling with the number five.
Starting point is 00:58:31 I think honestly, when it comes to Battlefield and, Call of Duty Xbox definitely has a hand in the way that Battlefield is treated on PlayStation. I'm not saying it's bad. I'm not saying that they treat Battlefield players worse on PlayStation.
Starting point is 00:58:49 But as far as Xbox, because of Xbox having Call of Duty, I think PlayStation makes it a point to give more things to Call the Duty players on that console so that just because
Starting point is 00:59:05 Call of Duties on a game pass doesn't make you want to get an Xbox if that makes sense. Basically, PlayStation is playing it to where they want you to play Call of Duty on their platform instead of Xbox. So I think they're giving you incentives
Starting point is 00:59:18 exclusively for PlayStation players because of Call of Duty also being on a game pass. So anyways, Battlefield 6 comes in number 5 and surprisingly it is behind Call of Duty. And what do we have right here?
Starting point is 00:59:33 no is this the one and only dispatch ladies and gentlemen you already know i'm a huge superhero fan right so when it comes to being a huge superhero fan safe to say dispatch coming in number six definitely warrants my heart because we've been playing that to a tee we've been cross we've been crossing our t's and done our eyes as polo man has been going crazy to the point where hold let me pull this up it's a little shameless plug you know your boy is always working so one of the things i was one to showcase oh that's my little intro uh one of the things i was on the showcase is uh y'all been really enjoying the polo man outing as far as dispatch now this is just you two look at this i'm about saying this is just you too right and y'all have almost ran it up to
Starting point is 01:00:19 3,000 in 11 days compared to other videos on my platform so y'all must really like polo man showing up to hop on um dispatch so i really appreciate the support when it comes to that but that's basically what I was wanting to pinpoint because of course let me see so right to let me see of course getting into 5 through 10 let me see because we already went through
Starting point is 01:00:44 dispatch dispatch was 6 right yeah dispatch was the 6 most play game so getting into 5 no no getting into 7 through 10 we have arc Raiders coming in number 7 as far as PlayStation I goosio te coming in number 6 EA sports FC26
Starting point is 01:01:00 no I'm tripping Gossiote coming in number 8 EA Sports FC26 coming in number 9 and of course rounding off the top 10 on PlayStation EA Sports College Football 26 coming in at number 10 so as you can see the ball and gun games
Starting point is 01:01:16 aren't going anywhere. What we have Battlefield Call of Duty Madden 2K goodness gracious FC college football I mean all these ball and gun games are all throughout the top 10 list but guess what? Because
Starting point is 01:01:34 dispatch is in the top six i'm gonna i'm gonna let it go you know i'm not gonna hold a grudge but let's just say um my my dispatch gameplay is actually going crazy right now so i'm glad i was able to show you that so y'all could you know check it out if you want to you know what i'm saying also the full play through will be on analytic dreams videos just on youtube i get the little um pieces here and there so they could uh come to the video platform but the full playthrough is on analytic dreams video on spotify so getting back into the top 10 on playstation set for to say we have EA college football
Starting point is 01:02:08 at number 10 EA Sports FC26 number 9 goes to Yote number 8 Arc Raiders at number 7 dispatch at number 6 Battlefield 6 and number 5 and then of course getting into
Starting point is 01:02:25 the last 4 we have Call of Duty coming in at number 4 EA Sports Madden NFL 26 coming in at number 3 Fortnite coming in at number two That's a crazy too But we're gonna keep that
Starting point is 01:02:47 And then of course NBA 2K 26 Being the most play game On the PlayStation platform Drop a bomb for that one Because you already know With the NBA season going on right now A lot of people is getting their itch To ball virtually
Starting point is 01:03:04 With either the favorite team The favorite player or just to hop into my part With their friends And get Collect virtual ankles right So that is the top 10 games notoriously affecting the PlayStation platform. Now, let's transition into Nintendo.
Starting point is 01:03:23 As you already know, when it comes to Nintendo, I basically just got to read off certain things because, of course, the actual website, like for Mitsu, they have all type of ads all over the place. I even have an ad blocker, so I'm like, how does it even work? So anyways, coming in at number one, I guess I could show number one through three as I talk about it. Coming in in number one, as you can see, Pokemon Legends Z-A or, you know, other people are calling it Pokemon Legends Zha.
Starting point is 01:03:55 It's the most played game on a Nintendo Switch platform to the point where it already surpassed 1 million copies as far as on Switch specifically. And it doesn't seem like it's going to lose its number one place anytime soon. Because when you look at number two, number two also has Pokemon Legends Zah as far as the Nintendo Switch 2. addition so then number three we have Mario Kart World number four we have once upon a time no once upon a lump soul uh number five we have persona three reload uh number six we have super Mario Galaxy plus super Mario Galaxy 2 number seven we have Minecraft number eight we have Animal Crossing number nine we have Mario Car 8 deluxe and then of course rounding off the top 10 for the switch Nintendo platform.
Starting point is 01:04:49 We have Donkey Kong Bonanza. So getting back into the top 10 as far as games notoriously affecting the Nintendo platform, safe to say we have Donkey Kong Bonanza coming in number 10, Mario Car 8 coming in number 9, Animal Crossing coming in number 8.
Starting point is 01:05:05 Oh no, am I tripping? Donkey Kong Bonanza coming in number 10, Mario Car 8 Deluxe coming in number 9, Animal Crossing coming in and number 8, Minecraft coming in at 7, Super Mario Galaxy plus Super Mario Galaxy 2 coming in number 6 persona 3 reload coming in at 5 once a once upon a lump soul coming in at 4 Mario Kart World coming in at 3 Pokemon legend Zah taking up the top
Starting point is 01:05:32 two spots drop a ball for that one Nintendo was like oh y'all want me to innovate on the monster catching mechanics well guess what we're not going to but not only are we not going to innovate we're going to put a patent. Yes, ladies and gentlemen, we're going to put a patent so nobody else could copy. Shepard, just look at the state of gaming. Like, what is going on?
Starting point is 01:05:58 When it comes to Pokemon, when it comes to Nintendo, safe to safe, Nintendo have the greatest lawyers in the gaming industry because if you don't know, I covered back on September 24th of this year,
Starting point is 01:06:10 Nintendo securing a patent on summoning characters to fight other characters. Yes, ladies and gentlemen, you heard me correctly. So as far as innovation, just know it's not coming anytime soon, but are other companies going to innovate,
Starting point is 01:06:22 such as a Power World, you know what I'm saying? No, because Nintendo patented, and it just went through. So, yeah, as far as stifling, creativity, just, let's just say, Nintendo is a one-of-one. Let's just put it like that.
Starting point is 01:06:35 So anyways, as far as mobile gaming, because I was wanting to get to the top 10 mobile games, but of course, I came to realize the list that I was looking at, It doesn't take into account all the sources.
Starting point is 01:06:48 So of course, for this specific list, we're going to look at all the sources and then combine it into one. So that's essentially what I did. Because if you don't know, for mobile gaming, it's basically a lot of different sites that talk about the mobile game revenue. And certain lists are different based on the requirements and how you're eligible for the list. So some lists are different based on revenue, some based on engagement, things in that nature. I went and took into account all of the metrics and basically made a collective top 10 list. So for mobile gaming from here on now, we're just going to have our own list taking into account all the different sites and what mobile games are notoriously affecting the masses. So with that being said, putting immense respect on the mobile gaming community.
Starting point is 01:07:36 This is my own list of what's the greatest top 10 games. no as far as one of the most popular top 10 games on the market so anyways i there we go so anyways as you can see number one we have honor of kings published by tinsent and then of course you have notes to decide uh number two you have last war of survival published um well we don't know who is published by uh candy crush saga published by king and actually I did cover last war so let me see don't I actually kind of I probably looked up the actual developing studio let me see I think the creators of that list could could kill this but so it was launched by first fun hkltd and now published by
Starting point is 01:08:36 Funfly PTE LTD so only over here in notorious mass effect even the the different sites didn't cite their source as far as the publisher but Anyways, Candy Crush comes in number three as far as the most engaged with mobile game published by King. King Shot comes in number four, published by Century Games. Royal Match comes in number five, published by Dream Games. Gossip, Harbor, Merge, and Story comes in number six, published by Century Games. Class Royale comes in number seven, published by Super Cell. Delta Force comes in number eight, published...
Starting point is 01:09:13 Well, we don't know who is published by, but... i'll probably have to look it up as well because i remember covering delta force not too long ago so this is a new thing this is the uh collective list so if you look at other list just no this is not taking the account all the revenue and engagement they may just be doing one so that's why i wanted to collectively put this list together so i remember covering uh delta force all the way back on february 5th 2025 but they do have a console game so i don't know if that's the mobile game or the console game so but anyways it does say it's developed by timmy studio group known for call a duty mobile okay so yeah this is the mobile game all right cool so yeah the development uh is
Starting point is 01:09:55 timi studio group for uh delta force monopoly go um actually i was going to do that for this episode but i ended up uh reviewing what did i review you know i got look at my whiteboard uh i ended up reviewing oh the last war game yeah as you can see up here i i cover last war survival so but multi play not multi play uh monopoly go is gonna uh that that review is going to happen at some point at some point just not any time soon so monopoly go currently is the ninth most uh engaged with mobile game and then of course you have Pokemon tcg pocket which is the 10th most play mobile game in the So looking at this top 10 list, rounding off the top 10 games affecting the mobile platforms. You have Pokemon TCG Pocket, Monopoly Go.
Starting point is 01:10:48 I know my fault. I got to put the numbers with it. Pokemon TCG Pocket in number 10. Monopoly Go at number nine. Delta Force is number eight. Clash Royale at seven. Gossip Harbor. Merge and Story at number six.
Starting point is 01:11:02 Royal match at number five. Kingsshot at number four. Candy Crush saga number three, Last War, Survivor, number two, and of course, the most popular mobile game currently, Honor of Kings. So with that being said, that is essentially the music and games that's out here notoriously affecting the masses. So with that being said, let's get into episode 154, that of course, as you can see, is titled, Xbox officially concedes the console war to PlayStation. Shepard. Just look at the state of gaming. Like, what is going on?
Starting point is 01:11:41 But before that, make sure to click my link tree in my bio to access my social medias and follow to keep up my latest activities. If you want to support the show financially, click my cash app link located towards the bottom of my link tree as it helps your show overall. Also, make sure to share this podcast, rating the show five stars as this helps the show reach more people so we can grow together and affect. the masses and with that being said make sure to click that bell icon for post notifications and now with that being said with that out the way let's get into our first topic which is of course talking about the biggest gangster in the music industry which is taylor swift and her life of a showgirl album now getting into taylor swift once again we have to start off with the fact that she is unequivocally the biggest artist in the music industry and before you say i'm glazing have to point out the fact
Starting point is 01:12:47 that taylor swift album that just came out three days ago mind you is tracking 3.4 million units and with that being said it broke the record for the biggest album sales week in nelson history and guess what those four days of tracking stills. remaining. So when it comes to Taylor Swift and what y'all may think is a glazed session, it's justifiable for the same reason that Drake is my favorite artist. Is it okay? I got my dope on me? Because when it comes to my favorite artist, safe to say when it comes to objective statistics compared to their counterparts in their same genre, Drake is leaps and bounds ahead of his next up as far as competition in hip hop. But when it comes to Taylor Swift, she is
Starting point is 01:13:41 leaps and bounds ahead of a competition when it comes to the entire music industry. So now with that being said, the main thing I wanted to let you know is that Taylor Swift is just breaking records left and right. So the purpose of this segment in the next is breaking down the current statistical accomplishments and of course her box office. Yes, I'm going to have to transform into the black Grace Randolph herself as I'm going to break down the box office for Taylor Swift. Now that being said, before we get into the box office, how she's just killing it in every single lane you can imagine let's stick to music as when it comes to the 2.7 million copies sold day one we're not talking about the 3.4 million we're
Starting point is 01:14:28 talking about the 2.7 million copies sold in day one as far as physical plus digital surpassing her own first week record as far as the tortured Poets department and that sold respectively 2.6 million units now another thing I was willing to point out because even this was a little confusing for me. So looking at this specifically as far as on her DSP profile, at the very bottom, what does that say? Hold on now. I know that does not say at Taylor Swift at Taylor Swift. But then you know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 01:15:03 I was like, damn, look at the state of hip hop. Like what's going on? If only the state of hip hop had an artist that would make a stand instead of lawsuits and ultimately go independent to show what type of fan base he has. But, you know, that's besides the point, right? You know, I'm not trying to get him on my bad side of the OVO goons out there, right? Can't have chubs on my back, pause. You guys.
Starting point is 01:15:26 Anyways, the reason why I point this out is because this, as you can see right here that I'm circling, says at 2025 Taylor Swift. Now, what that means is that she's essentially independent, and she owns the masters and full of recording copyrights. selling 3.4 and just three tracking days which mind you actually overtook adele's 25 as far as the biggest first week sales in any album's u.s history so taylor swift is breaking records and she's still an independent so when you look at the overall music market share currently independence hold 9 percent universal music group holds 48 percent warner holds 28 percent
Starting point is 01:16:13 and Sony owns 16% of the music market share currently as far as the top 50. Now, when it comes to Taylor Swift, she's easily going to have a number one. And with that being said, I would be interested to see if for the first time, others, which is, hold on let me show you all this too, analytic dreams video on Spotify to see the video along with the audio. But as far as market share, this is for the last tracking week, which is why K-pop Demon Hunters is that number one. But as you can see right here, when it comes to the market share, oh, let me switch my scene.
Starting point is 01:16:49 When it comes to the music market share, as you can see, Universal Music Group currently has 48%, Warner has 28%, Sony has 16. And then guess what? Independence, which is basically smaller labels and actually independent acts, they have a whopping 9%. Now, I don't know what percentile Taylor Swift is going to put the others in as far as third of second place but i'm pretty confident to say that it's going to be a close race this upcoming week to see if sony is battling it out with independence as far as market share and that is definitely a w i know that ain't who i think it is every time taylor swift drops an album from now on and it says at taylor swift at the bottom as far as credits i know major labels are looking
Starting point is 01:17:35 at it saying to themselves i know that ain't who i think it is all of these marketing dollars that we throw around to these acts saying that major labels are the only way to go and Taylor Swift literally already broke the highest first week sales for any album in US history and it's only been three days. So as far as the Glaze Fest that's essentially what I was trying to get across. Taylor Swift is going crazy with her statistical accomplishments. She does have eight plus vinals goodness and CD variants and a 24-hour iTunes exclusive edition. and a theatrical film tie-in, which leads into my next segment, because ladies and gentlemen, we are about to break down how in the world Taylor Swift released a whole movie and it ended
Starting point is 01:18:25 up grossing $33 million. So with that being said, let's get into her statistical accomplishments in the box office right now. Transforming into the Black Grace Randolph herself. Shout out to her. But for this particular segment, you're stuck with me to break down the movie box office as I'm no movie a TV show condes sewer but what I do know is that Taylor Swift gross not only 33 million in North America but also 46 million globally over three days the largest theatrical album launch ever and in my previous segment because I tied these two together I was talking about how Taylor Swift already with three days of tracking mind you four more to go but after three days of tracking has
Starting point is 01:19:20 already accumulated 3.5 million units and guess what that's already the biggest first week sales for any album in u.s history so taylor swift is dropping bombs all over the place so when it comes to specifically the box office that's the main thing i wanted to let you know is that that's the most surprising thing to me because of course when it first came to her out as far as a theatrical release, she had the Torture Poets Department, and that was already a success in his own. Was it the Torture Poet Department? I think it was a documentary for Taylor Swift.
Starting point is 01:20:01 But let me see, Taylor Swift, Portia Poets Department. I think it was the Erez Tour. I think that's what it's called. I don't feel like looking at it up right now. But I think it's actually the ERIS tour, which encapsitated her progress in her overall career journey throughout her albums.
Starting point is 01:20:20 That came to theaters and guess what? It broke all type of theatrical records and things of that nature. So now for Taylor Swift to come back and put out yet another project for theaters, titled the official release party of a showgirl, which debuted August 3rd, of course, along with the album. Safe to say that it accumulated so much money that at this point, somebody has to get Taylor Swift some type of movie deal because she's improved time time again now not only will people show up to DSPs and purchase physical copies vinyl CDs things of that
Starting point is 01:20:56 nature but they will also show up to theaters to support Taylor Swift's offering which I believe any studio will be clamoring for it as far as a superstar that they can mold that already has their fan base so when it comes to Taylor Swift there's a lot of things that she's just doing that's leaps and bounds ahead of a competition. And before you say this is a glaze-a-thon, just no. Just know, I did the same thing for K-pop Demon Hunters, and you see what that said. Still the most played project, you know, before Taylor takes over number one. But K-pop Demon Hunters and Morgan Wallen have been taken over the number one and number
Starting point is 01:21:34 two spot as far as the albums, respectively, throughout this whole year since K-pop demon hunters released because Morgan Wallen came out first. And then of course on the single side, Golden by K-pop Demon Hunters, soda pop by K-pop Demon Hunters, and your idol by K-pop Demon Hunters are still in the top five, and it's been on the charts for at least 13 weeks. So when I put these things in perspective,
Starting point is 01:22:00 it's because, of course, me covering the artists that notoriously affect the masses, K-pop Demon Hunters and Taylor Swift's names are going to be and going to keep being brought up because of course that's what that's mainly what i do as far as covering the music industry letting you know who is notoriously affecting the masses which is why as you can see right here the notorious mass effect banner has some of the biggest musicians in the world now of course i cover hip-hop majority of the time so i'm a little biased as far as more hip-hop artists on the banner but when it comes to bad bunny taylor swift uh those type of
Starting point is 01:22:40 artists that's outside of the norm of hip hop they are doing some things in the music industry that we haven't seen for quite some time really some of the biggest superstars are coming outside of the genre of hip hop so the pivot that i made and especially the people who was enjoying not only the taylor swift covers but the k-pop demon hunters don't even let me don't even don't even get me started about people supporting the lady gaga coverage i mean at this point covering the entire music industry has not only helped out the brand but overall has enlightened me as far as the different genres who are very influential very influential on other genres that you probably only listen to and you never know that they're influenced by the genre that i be covering unless you step out of
Starting point is 01:23:28 your comfort zone and expand your palate so anyways the main reason why i say that is the glazed taylor swift once again she's going crazy as far as numbers now to be fair as far as reviews for this specific album it doesn't seem like the swifties or the general public are saying this is one of her best albums actually the kind of saying the opposite but for me i actually enjoyed the album and i know you probably think it to yourself man this is the perfect demographic to review taylor swips album i mean you just look at me and you probably just think that's what a taylor swiff fan looks like you guys see that's the problem anyways if you said anything you said anything else you're racist anyway but that being said the life of a showgirl by taylor swift
Starting point is 01:24:11 my favorite tracks offered this album is by far honey i really like honey i like the overall uh i like the overall beat of honey and then of course as far as the song writing perspective elizabeth taylor is me noticing how taylor actually showcase how big she is in this industry because you know in the interviews and things that nation she really comes across as an ordinary human but she is not so Elizabeth Taylor is definitely a great reminder to her whoever you know decides to slight her I'm not saying this towards Travis Kelsey I'm just saying Elizabeth Taylor is one of my favorite songs off of this album because it's Taylor Swift embracing who she actually is as far as one of the biggest entertainers to ever grace of Mike and she's basically letting you know that and in a very
Starting point is 01:25:00 sly way in Elizabeth Taylor and also I like to be on that album on that track as well but i like a lot of other tracks like as far as what stands out to me i think wood stands out to me pause you guys uh life of a show girl i like sabrina carpenter's addition to it and of course opalite i believe it's uh one of my standouts as well but there's only 12 tracks on it's 41 41 minutes of length and she has been putting out a lot of albums you know aside from the re-releases so i can see a lot of people getting taylor swift fatigue which happens with any over exposed brand right so with that being said that's the main thing i want to get to just her theatrical accomplishments also her single accomplishments and of course how the biggest
Starting point is 01:25:46 thing i want you to get out of this is taylor swift is about to break the record for the biggest first week album sales in u.s history and with that being said click my link show in my bio let me know one of my social medias what do you think about taylor swift just breaking all type of records where her latest album the life of a show girl if you've listened to the life of a show girl if you've listened to the life of a girl what is your favorite track off of the album now of course you already heard my coverage of taylor swift as far as her different her plethora i mean several is an understatement as far as variance now if you haven't just know over here at notorious mass effect you would have thought i was as swiftly as when it comes to my coverage of taylor swift's album it's been going crazy to the point where i appreciate each and every one of y'all who
Starting point is 01:26:37 support my Taylor Swift coverage. Now that being said, the main thing that we unfortunately have to get into is the comparison of goats. And the reason why I say unfortunately is because the Swifties are going to be thinking that I'm talking bad about their favorite musician,
Starting point is 01:26:53 but I have to keep it eight more than 92. As even though Taylor Swift is still going to be dominating the charts for the foreseeable future, it's the LeBron effect. We're no longer comparing you to your peers, but comparing you to the ghost that came before you.
Starting point is 01:27:08 So of course, Adele has entered the picture. When it comes to Taylor Swift breaking Adele's record to have the biggest first week ever, as far as four million. Yes, ladies and gentlemen, million with an M. Four million sales in the first week, which unequivocally is the most successful first week sales for an album we've ever seen. But that's not it. The main thing I was wanting to get into is Adele's second week.
Starting point is 01:27:44 And now you know what we're about to get into. You guys. See, that's the problem. Analytic Dreams video on Spotify to see the video along with the audio. Because right now, I'm essentially showcasing the sales for Taylor Swift. I'm showcasing all the different sales as far as throughout her entire career as far as first week. As you can see, the life of a showgirl is by far her most impactful first week for an album in her career and taylor swift is taylor swift so that's
Starting point is 01:28:14 saying something but the main thing i was wanted to point out is how adele and her week two as far as her album 25 that released november 20th 2025 no i mean 2015 she had 3.3 million in her first week which was the largest debut since 1991 but then of course week two she held on to have over a million in her second week more specifically 1.02 million in her second week sales for her album 25 the reason why I'm saying that is because it's reported to be 345,000 as far as Taylor Swift's second week sales which is an unfortunate 91% drop I know that ain't who I think it is adele looking at all these people comparing Taylor Swift's album to her and she's saying to herself i know that ain't who i think it is adele selling over one million plus in her second week and looking at taylor swift's second week numbers saying to herself but then you know what i'm saying to him unfortunate that we have to compare the ghosts like this but when in a competitive sport such
Starting point is 01:29:27 as music safe to say these comparisons have to be made because there's nobody else to compare taylor swift to ladies and gentlemen the second closest as far as first week sales in the year of 2025 was Morgan Wallin and I believe he did like 480 490 or something like that actually let me see Morgan Wallin first week sales I think it was um I'm the problem something like that and when it comes to Morgan Wallin being the second closest to Taylor Swift as far as having the biggest first week sales Morgan Wallins I'm the problem did 493,000 first week safe to say that's not even close to Taylor Swift's first week. So when you look at the second week because actually I do want to know a second week from Morgan. Let me see what the second week for Morgan? Because
Starting point is 01:30:23 I wonder if Taylor Swift's second week was higher than Morgan Wallens. Okay it was. So Morgan Wallen had 286,000 as far as the second week. Taylor Swift still ahead of the pack with 345,000 in her second week. So when you look at it, Taylor Swift is doing phenomenal on the charts. You don't know. need me to tell you that because I've told you a bunch of times to the point where y'all said is a taylor swift glazathon but as you know i keep it eight more than 92 so we have to get into her second week and the 91% total drop as comparing it to to adele's album 25 i'm not going to say i'm not going to say it's unfair because she's still lapping her competition her current competition when it comes to adele's album 25 not only did it sell over a million in the second week it sold
Starting point is 01:31:07 695,000 her third week and then it sold 790,000 her fourth week and then it rose back up to 1.16 million in her fifth week so i don't think the comparisons of taylor swift's album the life of a showgirl and adele's 25 album is fair as outside of the first week adele is still in a in a league of her own especially with the week two week three and week four week five hold which seen as three hundred and forty five thousand is the second week sale for the life of a show girl it's just not comparable to adele's album 25 as far as one of the largest albums of all time as far as longevity now of course first week is definitely up there to the point where it's definitely the most successful first week sales And of course, to be fair, the second week is still the largest out of any 2025 album so far.
Starting point is 01:32:09 Like I said, Morgan Wallin's album that debuted 493,000 first week. But then the second week was 286,000. Taylor Swift still cleared that by mile. But when it comes to longevity and comparing it to the likes of Adele, let's save to say, let's pump the breaks on the Adele 25 album, comparisons as already read off the numbers as far as week one, week two, week three, four, or five for Adales 25 and it held a lot better than the life of a show girl is doing. But you never know.
Starting point is 01:32:45 Taylor Swift may put out an eyes closed variant. She may put out an eyes open variant. You never know she could put out a going to bed vinyl, a waking up vinyl. I'll brush my hair vinyl. I'll brush my teeth vinyl. Shepard. All right. You get the point, right?
Starting point is 01:33:01 So at the end of the day, Taylor Swift is doing phenomenal to the point where she should be applauded to building up a fan base that would support her variance, multiple variants, 38 to be exact, by purchasing the albums and the different variants. But of course, when it comes to longevity, I just want to say that Adele is still in the league of her own. But Taylor Swift, as a career, is still putting up monumental numbers to the point where my Michael Jackson comparison is still accurate. as far as her putting up crazy numbers in the first week, never seen it before. But of course, when it comes to longevity, like I said once again, it's not to be compared to Adele's 25 album. So with that being said, hopefully the Swifties ain't mad at me. I was just trying to keep it eight more than 92 and letting y'all know what Taylor Swift is
Starting point is 01:33:50 doing in her second week, and it still leaps and bounds ahead of her competition. So as far as what you can look forward to, I've covered Taylor Swift's documentary as far as Disney Plus and that's set to come out December 12th on Disney Plus and of course that was directed by Don Argott and Sheena M. Joyce and it reveals behind the scenes from Vancouver's finale and so when it comes to that you can look forward to that as far as December 12th on Disney Plus it's going to be a six-part docu-series so that's what you can look forward to as far as the Swifties out there wondering what's the latest developments for the Taylor Swift. Hive. So with that being said, click my link to your my bio. Let me know one of my social
Starting point is 01:34:35 media is what do you think about the 345,000 second week sales metric as far as the life of a showgirl? And do you believe that Taylor Swift is breaking the music industry with multiple variants or do you think it's just a positive to her fan base that she built up over time? Analytic Dreams video on Spotify to see the video along with the audio. Almost as if it was pieces falling into place Oh now tell it'll be working out Pieces falling into place Okay, she's trying to get that Nike deal
Starting point is 01:35:23 You know what I'm saying? You guys Alright my fault, let's get focused Hey y'all get focused now As if it just happened The Erez tour wasn't when all the pieces fell into place This tour was just when every single one of us
Starting point is 01:35:41 Who had done so much work pushing inch by inch to where we all clicked together I can read we- Who y'all think give a better speech optimist prime Captain America or Taylor Swift I know that ain't who I think it is y'all let me know you have broken every single record you can break with this tour she's having the time of her life
Starting point is 01:36:08 the only thing left is to close the book I hope we're going to mute it right there I think it's playing music so what it says is the end of an error the exclusive six episode docu-series it's still playing music okay so basically you're seeing overall highlights of her show but the main thing that we're getting into for this specific segment
Starting point is 01:36:39 is Taylor Swift announcing on Good Morning America October 13th that she will be coming to Disney Plus with a six-part docu-series. First episodes will drop, first two episodes will drop December 12th, and then it will release two episodes weekly after. So when it comes to that, I think me covering Taylor Swift is obviously because of the podcast, notorious mass effect. I mean, hopefully I don't have to bring this up every single time because I'll probably
Starting point is 01:37:12 think it to yourself. as a person who focuses on the music and gaming industry why are you covering taylor swiss so much well ladies and gentlemen that's exactly why you guys see that's the problem if we're talking about musicians or gaming IPs that notoriously affect the masses taylor swift is the epitome of what it looks like to notoriously affect the masses on the most grandiose stage possible because Let me remind you, Taylor Swift dropped a whopping 4 million first week as far as an album that just dropped Life of a Showgirl. And before you think this is going to be a Taylor Swift glazedathon, I do have some jokes to get off because, of course, it was brought to my attention that Taylor Swift did take a very interesting marketing strategy that makes you say, don't hate the player, hate the game. but at the end of the day we have to keep it eight more than 92 and i have to be fair and as i read off these
Starting point is 01:38:19 uh specific this specific marketing strategy i'm gonna put up this specific meme right here analytic dreams video on spotify to see the videos along with the audio so you already know i'm keeping the eight more than 92 but ladies and gentlemen let's get into taylor swiss interesting marketing strategy now along with a lot of different press releases and releasing a whole movie that did phenomenal of course as far as October 3 to the 5th so it wasn't like a a week long theatrical release it was like uh yeah October 3rd october 4th and october 5th 89 minute theatrical event it wasn't a concert film nor a doc but it was a promo extravaganza extravaganza premiered the fate of ophelia video which was taylor swift directed and the lyric videos for all 12 tracks bt s footage and taylor swip's songs reflections
Starting point is 01:39:10 much it made goodness gracious 34.1 million as far as domestic and 50 million globally. Oh wrong drop. That's not it. As I already went over how the life of the showgirl when it released that same day as far as October 3rd, it ended up garnering 4 million plus as far as first week sales. And safe to say the closest to that was Morgan Wallen with his album, I'm the problem that came out this year. I'm trying to see specifically when it came out this year. But essentially, the reason I'm bringing up Morgan Wallen, because that is her next up competition as far as first week sales.
Starting point is 01:39:53 And Taylor Swift, keep in mind. Taylor Swift did $4 million plus, right? Morgan Wallen, who's her second competition as far as first week sales, did a whopping, actually, let me get the actual number. So Morgan Wallen fans don't get upset of me. Let me see, Morgan Wallen, because I know it was around the 400. Morgan Wallin first week. So Morgan Wallin, I'm the problem.
Starting point is 01:40:18 Let me see if I can find this. I'm the problem. He's definitely the problem. I'm not going to lie to you. He's the reason why he's blackballed from the Grammys. But hey, you guys. See, that's the problem. Hey, that's the problem for real.
Starting point is 01:40:28 So anyways, Morgan Wallin ended up debuting number one. And I'm trying to see if they have the actual official number. because if they don't have the official number, then there's no point. Morgan Wallin. I'm the problem. First week sales. I need to play that typing game. You know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 01:40:50 Hey, I'll be your boy be typing pretty fast. All right, my fault. My fault. Come on now. Shepard. My fault. I'm going to type in. I'm going to lock in.
Starting point is 01:40:57 So Morgan Wallin, I'm the problem. So the whopping 493,000 units first week. And that was very phenomenal. Until you realize, he was putting BTCA on the whole. whole music industry with 193,000 first week. Taylor Swift, to remind you, hold on, let me put this up. So, you know, we don't do fake news over here.
Starting point is 01:41:18 We got to show the receipts. Taylor Swift, ladies and gentlemen, as you can see right here, not only does UMG have a 90% market share currently because of Taylor Swift putting BT on the music industry. But as you can see right here, let me pull this over. As you can see right here, 4 million first week.
Starting point is 01:41:40 compared to her second up which is 493,000 first week as far as morgan wallace not the problem we've never seen an notorious mass effect like this in quite some time i think what taylor swift is doing is michael jackson's as far as from a numerical perspective as nobody is coming close to her massive in effect and when it comes to that not only is she completely completely lapping her competition. But now she's taking it to movies. She already took it there with her album. And then ladies and gentlemen,
Starting point is 01:42:21 now she's putting out a whole docu-series on Disney. I know that ain't who I think it is. But guess what? That's not the reason I have up this meme right here. Ladies and gentlemen, the Swifties are going to be very irate at me. But the reason why I have this meme up is because Taylor Swift has a whopping, and I kid you not, a whopping 34 variants.
Starting point is 01:42:40 I thought to myself, hold up now. But then, you know what I'm saying? I was like, damn, look at the state of hip hop. Like, what's going on? I look at the down spiral of hip hop as far as its effect in 2025 compared to other genres, like country, like K-pop, like Caritos, tombados. I look at that in general. And I think to myself, if only they were to put out 30 plus variants like Taylor Swift did. But then I thought to myself, French Montana tried that same thing.
Starting point is 01:43:08 And guess what? y'all clown them you guys see that's the problem but taylor swift has put out a standard cd a standard vinyl LP a standard cassette a target exclusive CD three editions mind you target exclusive vinyl LP on i'm gonna stop with the drop i'm gonna keep going with the list acoustic bonus CD four web store editions signed CD two editions deluxe CD with charm i don't even know what that means four editions deluxe box CD with cardigan two additions shiny bug vinyl
Starting point is 01:43:46 two disc colors oh we're still going ladies and gentlemen we're still going they already said shiny bug I think it is they already said shiny bug I think I do baby that show business vinyl two disc colors tiny bubbles and champagne vinyl that's two disc colors
Starting point is 01:44:02 crowd is your king vinyl summertime sprits pink shimmer additional vinyl which is three more I don't even know what that means digital downloads with seven total the standard edition the iTunes bonus video edition track by track commentary edition and acoustic bonus iTunes which have four additions with voice memos you guys see that's the problem there's a reason why I have this meme up here and I sincerely will say Taylor Swift I'm not hating the player I'm just hating the game right now because this is this is a shame. But then you know what I'm saying? I was like, damn, look at the state of hip hop. Like, what's going on?
Starting point is 01:44:46 If only hip hop fans would stop clowning their artists for putting out variants when the biggest influencers in the music industry do the exact same thing with no repercussions. So off of that point, I'm going to take this meme off because I don't want Swifties think I'm coming at Taylor Swift. I'm not on want any beef, any smoke with the with the Swifties. You already know there's several times I've covered Taylor Swift. It's been nothing. but a glaze-a-thon.
Starting point is 01:45:10 So I'm just keeping it eight more than 92 and showcasing how she did these type of numbers because of course you need people to support those variants or else it just wouldn't make sense, right? So she has to support, supporting fan base
Starting point is 01:45:25 to do this enormous, this egregious amount of variance. I mean, I thought to myself, I'm like, hold on now. I know I'm a superhero fan, but I didn't even know if I was watching Loki or if I was watching Taylor Swift's Rollout for Life of a Showgirl.
Starting point is 01:45:38 I couldn't decide. You guys. I couldn't decide at all. I was thinking to myself, dang, Kevin Feige really did a number on Taylor Swift's album. Shepard. All right, my fault. So throwing the multiverses away,
Starting point is 01:45:51 the main thing I was wanting to get into is that Taylor Swift is putting out a six-part docu-sie series for Disney Plus, right? That's coming out December 12th. So it's quite some time from now. The rollout is going to be enormous. When it comes to Taylor Swift still putting BT on the whole industry, having four million plus first week, having six albums in the top 50 as far as billboard, and then having all 12 of her tracks charting to the point where not only does she have
Starting point is 01:46:22 one, two, three, four, five, six, seven to sound like LeBron James when he went to Miami. But she has a whopping in a type of screenshot. I'm again, I don't even think you'd be able to specifically see it. Let me show you right here. So you know how golden is consistently the, most played track in the world ladies and gentlemen because of her enormous debut taylor swift has 12 tracks and the top 10 of billboard hot 100 but then you know what sounds like 10 that's actually insane so all of these metrics that i'm giving you is to showcase why we cover taylor swift so many
Starting point is 01:46:57 times to the point where taylor i mean drake then lost his whole lawsuit and i still haven't got the day yet so when it comes to taylor swift and her putting on an out of the out of the hour putting on a I think especially what I do, it would be a disgrace to the platform to not put a misrespect on Taylor Swift's name because this is the most notorious mass effect you will ever see from a musician in quite some time. It's like when sports players and expert analysts talk about LeBron James and his impact on the NBA. Whenever he leaves, we're going to see a distinct change in the league. as far as how they maneuver to get eyes on their product.
Starting point is 01:47:42 Taylor Swift and what she's doing to the music industry is something that we'll never see again in our lifetime. Because the amount of time it took for Taylor Swift to build up this type of audience. I mean, she was going through everything. Remember when Kanye hopped on stage and basically said that her award should have went to Beyonce? You guys.
Starting point is 01:48:02 See, that's the problem. Remember when Kim Kardashian was recording all type of phone conversations, basically to make Taylor Swift look like the most evil person in the world. You guys. See, that's the problem. Remember when Taylor Swift was dating to Jonas Brothers? All right, my fault. I just wanted to throw the end there. Shepard. My fault. I'm being messy. So when it comes to Taylor Swift specifically, I wanted to see when she put out her first album because we're not going to see this in all lifetime. I want to tell you how long the buildup was. So from 2006 to 2025, almost two decades and you come to realize she's now reaching the peak of her career
Starting point is 01:48:38 when it comes to being a influencer of any in any lane this is the type of longevity you should seek as far as people putting respect on your craft because i don't care what you say if you use a social media to promote the product you make you want some type of acknowledgement from the audience right taylor swift has garnered that and then more and it took her almost two decades to reach her peak so that's why we always say it's good to put out a great product but also consistency is key so when it comes to that let's get back into taylor swift um the main thing about this docky series is that it was directed by don or got i think that's how you say it and when it comes to behind the scenes uh the behind the scenes look at the airs tour that's the main thing as far as
Starting point is 01:49:31 development logistics fan impact emotional closure of the tour and then you come to um featured appearances you have gracie abram Sabrina carpenter ed shuren we shout to ed shuren i think he's one of the most talented musicians we've ever seen anyways let's get back to it uh florence welch i think i think this i say said and taylor swiss family and in description per disney quote an intimate look at taylor's life as her tour made headlines and thrilled fans around the world And the Taylor Swift came out with her own statement. She said, quote, it was the end of an era and we knew it. Dot, dot, dot.
Starting point is 01:50:07 We wanted to remember every moment leading up to the culmination of the most important and intense chapter of our lives. And then, of course, when it comes to the format, already talked about how the first two episodes is dropping December 12th. and there's going to be two episodes released weekly after that so this makes all the sense in the world because if you can generate 50 plus million dollars in the box office then it's safe to say you can generate a lot of eyes and engagement on a streaming platform where people don't have to travel anywhere to watch it they just have to subscribe to disney plus which as we've seen taylor swift can get the swifty to describe to a lot of things shepherd all right my fault so when the comes to Taylor Swift and Disney they've already had a working relationship as 2020 folklore came out with the long pond studio sessions a hundred and six minute doc filmed at Aaron Desner's long pond studio and then a 2023 can't forget the errors tour how the film version went straight from making 250 million worldwide as far as in theaters and transition into Disney Plus so that happened in 2020
Starting point is 01:51:31 Disney Plus saw all of those dollars and they'll stay it to themselves. I know this ain't one person bringing in all this revenue. They basically said we got a running back. So here we are again in the big year of 2025. The end of an error in the final show is happening on Disney Plus
Starting point is 01:51:47 and when it comes to that, December 12th, the first two episodes and there's going to be two episodes released weekly after that. So this is the third major Taylor Swift Disney collaboration. What I've been playing this whole time, as far as analytic dreams, video on Spotify is the trailer and ultimately even though Taylor Swift has been putting BT on the music
Starting point is 01:52:07 industry she is shifting her focus to movies and TV shows based off of her music and safe to say the swifties are going to support to the moon and back because another thing I haven't even mentioned is that the Eros tour was one of the highest grossing concert tours of all time it was so close to a billion revenue globally and basically showcase how she was breaking records time and time again with her tours to the point where now that the errors tour is one of the highest gross and concert tours of all time safe to say that we can ask the question what is next for taylor swift because it seems like she's did it she's broken the game and she's accumulated numbers that we never thought we would see in our lifetime so as far as what's next click my link true in my bio let me know what i want let me know on one of my social media
Starting point is 01:52:59 what do you think about the Taylor Swift Errors tour docu-series on Disney Plus, dropping December 12th? And what stands out to you the most as far as Taylor Swift's notorious mass effect with her music? Is it okay? I got my dope on me? I said, what the fuck? Getting into everyone's favorite artists. Shepard.
Starting point is 01:53:27 I mean, my fault. My favorite artist. Pause. You guys. See, that's the problem. Safe to see. say that this man has no boundaries when it comes to Rakim. And who am I talking about when I'm referring to Rakim?
Starting point is 01:53:44 But then you know what I'm saying? I was like, damn, look at the state of hip hop. Like, what's going on? Ladies and gentlemen, Rakim, Alastin Mayors, more popular, more commonly referred to as A, said Rocky, continues to get bars expeditiously sent his way. You would have thought he had Amazon Prime the way. he's delivering all of these bars through leaks through actual tracks because this man is never going to let it go i know they ain't who i think it is i know they and drake still taking shots at rappers
Starting point is 01:54:17 in the big year of 2025 well ladies and gentlemen that's exactly where we are as a leaked happen and as far as the leak interestingly enough it was only 24 seconds but uh safe to say those 24 a second's had a lot of content so quoting arbor can't i mean Aubrey drake graham we have to get into talk about drake then you get a whole lot talk about drake and you're gonna get you some streams man how the and this a pg podcast man how the f and i don't think it stands for phenomenal how the f is your day one going to testify whoo de do so you could sit in the box either you ain't never did nothing for your brothers or they must have forgot i know that ain't who i think it is Drake is back again taking shots at ace at rocky and if that wasn't enough for you safe to say when
Starting point is 01:55:12 he said on family matters to this day i still think that's the best this track in the rap battle but of course you know i'm a drake fan and at the end of day when it comes to the not like us pedophile anthem it was egregious the amount of lies that was told to the point where i looked at family matters in certain truths that was said in family matters that still is relevant to this day and nobody wants to acknowledge you but hey you know that's why I'm here for so anyways Drake said
Starting point is 01:55:39 I ain't even oh no I ain't even start right there Drake said Rock Kim talking stuff again goodness he's using your government what in the world gassed you gassed because you hit my B on first but do the math who was I hitting then you guys
Starting point is 01:55:58 I ain't even know you wrapped again. Still they still because they only talk about your fit again. Probably got to have a kid again for you think of dropping any stuff again. Even when you do drop
Starting point is 01:56:15 they ain't going to say you should have modeled because it's mid again. Smoking Fenty about it. Hold on them now. Should have put you on the first one try to get it in. He's talking about the Metro album. You got to break it down for people who don't follow hip-hop. First Metro album, didn't have ASAP.
Starting point is 01:56:33 The second one did. That's what he's talking about. Should have put you on the first one because you're trying to get in, right? Ask Fring, which if you don't know, even I had to learn this. I was like, what in the world is friends? For some reason I knew he was talking about Rihanna.
Starting point is 01:56:48 I don't know, it's just a Drake standing in me. But, pause. But Drake said, no, no, no. Drake referred to Rihanna as Fring because that originates from the legendary Breaking Bag, breaking bad antagonist Gustavo Fring, who was Rihanna's favorite character in the critically acclaimed
Starting point is 01:57:04 television series. And of course Aaron Paul, who plays Jesse Pigman, pick up Pinkman and Breaking Bad stated that Rihanna and Drake were both ecstatic to when meeting him, emphasize how much they loved the show. Aaron Paul said that Rihanna put
Starting point is 01:57:22 Drake onto Breaking Bad. So of course that's the nickname that Drake gave Rihanna. So of course, while he was breaking back, I mean, watching the Breaking Bad show with Rihanna, he was basically letting ASAP know that if you do the math, all right, y'all get the
Starting point is 01:57:38 point, right? But then, you know what I'm saying? I was like, damn, look at the state of hip hop, like, what's going on? So anyways, Drake is going to keep taking shots at everybody but size 7, I mean, white tank top because for some reason, he still has a indefinite quarrel with a lot of people
Starting point is 01:57:54 who took or supposedly chose size as far as in the rap battle so he's taking shots at isa rocky that's what the leak is about is only 24 seconds and if you try to look it up best believe UMG has did everything possible to take it down right so of course that's why i'm not playing the audio i am playing the video as far as what the leak is from but it's just a car in him playing the leak Drake track so you can't really tell anything by it um the main thing while i'm showing is just showcasing what it looks like as far as the Drake leak if you come across it this is what it looks like so the main thing i was one of
Starting point is 01:58:28 talk about especially with Drake leaking this 24 second track is uh well not 24 second track the 24 second snippet is that apparently the hackers got into the ovo camp and leaked it to the world now how does that happen how does that work i don't have i have no idea because as of right now drake is hanging on by a thread especially with his with which one track being the most popular currently and it's the 100th most played track in the world now if you look at it last week is the 87th most play track in the world. It's been under charts for about 11 weeks and now it's hanging on by a thread in the Billboard Hot 100.
Starting point is 01:59:05 But then you switch over the projects and Drake's Take Care is the 26 most play album in the world. And then you have some sexy songs for you, which is the 28th most play album in the world. So you come to see that Drake is still very relevant from an album's perspective to the point where pointing out his which one track hanging on by a thread It isn't really doing it justice because hip hop has been in a down spiral in 2025, safe to say, other genres.
Starting point is 01:59:34 I'm not going to say they've effectively caught up, but it's definitely a way more competitive field. And the connection I would give you, if you're a basketball fan out there, is the way that the world is catching up to the USA in basketball. I mean, the past, like five MVPs have been from other countries outside the United States. I mean, you had Shy Gildredis Alexander, you have Jokish, you have Joaquin. be at some point hopefully Luke could get someone you know but when it comes to that that's the same way I'll compare it to the music field people from
Starting point is 02:00:05 Caritos Tumbados which is the Latin community people from K-pop which K-pop Dima Hunters is still one of the most popular projects in the world K-pop Dima Hunters' soundtrack is the second most played project only under Taylor Swift and it would have been number one but of course
Starting point is 02:00:20 Taylor Swift dropped four million in the first week never seen anything like it and then of course when it comes to singles K-pop Dima Hunters is still running rampant with their track Golden and of course you have Alex Warren which is a country artist putting out ordinary and then you have Jordan uh Justin Bieber Morgan Wall and Teddy Swims there's no hip hop artist shout out to Leon Thomas uh his track much is currently the 18th most played track in the world but then you have the k-pop demon again right under him with soda pop that's the 19 most played track in the world so the reason why I'm giving you all these analytics you know pun intended because of my name but also looking at Drake Paul's. As far as in the entire music landscape, I think he's putting up some of the biggest
Starting point is 02:01:02 numbers as a hip-hop musician. So he's leading the pack by far. Big X the Plug seems to be the best numbers from an up-and-comer standpoint. Even though young boy is coming up, his numbers compare to Big X-Dug. It's just not comparable. Especially you look at Big X the Plug and he currently has the 47th most played track in the world and it's been on the charts for about 27 weeks. And then he has another track, which is hell at night, which is the 58th most play track in the world. But it's been on the charts for about nine weeks. You look at Young Boy, he's been on the charts with Shot Collin. It's the 65th most play track in the world.
Starting point is 02:01:37 And it's been on the charts about four weeks because of his tour. So it's not the same. Maybe Young Boy can match Big Exa Plug with only two months left in the year, but I highly doubt it. So as far as biggest players, pun intended, in the hip-hop game, seems to be Drake. side seven i mean kendrick and then big x the plug so now when you look at the landscape of course you have to well you do have to mention cardy b but as far as longevity it's been drake kendrick big x a plug so that out the way drake leaking this with his track which one hanging on by thread which is his most popular on billboard safe to assume and my sources are i made it up but safe to assume drake is coming with iceman expeditiously
Starting point is 02:02:21 as if you don't know i just cover taylor swift because you know you know know one of the most versatile music covers out here i'm not going to lie going from mba young boy to taylor swift i need some type of metal but you know that's just me you know what i'm saying shepherd all right my fault so anyways taylor swift just had a 91% drop because she put up the biggest first week sales of all time with four million with her album life of a showgirl her second week is seemingly around 347000 so we can only assume if she doesn't drop like a i'm breathing variant or i'm a live variant or I'm currently shoveling snow variant you know she has like 38 variants out there right now it's almost like loki in the motoviruses but when it comes to that um whenever
Starting point is 02:03:05 taylor swift keeps going on the downwards not downward spiral in a bad way because she's still putting up the biggest numbers but as far as her third week if it keeps going down safe to say drake could easily have a number one which would definitely continue his streak because i think taylor swift is around 14 or 16 as far as leading the pack of number one albums Jay-Z and Drake is behind her with, I forget what it is, it's only about two. Taylor Swift is leading Jay-Z and Drake as far as the most number one debuts with 14, I believe. Drake and Jay-Z has like 12. So when it comes to that, the numbers may be off, just know it's by two.
Starting point is 02:03:45 Taylor Swift is leading Jay-Z and Drake by two. So Drake is definitely trying to keep that streak alive of going number one with his album. I believe he could do it. If not this weekend, definitely next weekend. If he wants to drop in October. That was the initial date. Taylor Swift heard that. Allegedly, my sources are I made it up.
Starting point is 02:04:07 Taylor Swift heard that announce her album to come out on October on her boyfriend's podcast and now you see she just dropped four million in your first week. But looking at them second week numbers, $347,000 as far as in the second week. If it goes down for the third week, I could see October, 23rd being the year that Drake or being the date that Drake drops Iceman. Now of course my sources are once again, I made it up. So if it ends up coming out, you already know to rate this five stars.
Starting point is 02:04:38 But the main thing to know or to note, Drake's going to keep taking shots at people. My only advice, because a lot of people are just saying like drop good music. He dropped Nokia. It was a hit. People still saying drop good music. So they're not giving really a real specific advice. My thing is in your next album, you should have a track that admits your fault as far as suing after a rap battle. I think that's the main thing you should have as a person who's always been known to be transparent in this music.
Starting point is 02:05:09 If you're transparent in the way of, I don't care and I'm going to keep ignoring the lawsuit that I file, I don't think that's the greatest thing to do, especially with a whole entire project that you know it's going to be at least 30 to 40 minutes, at least. so some track doesn't have to be a bunch of times one track has to have you admitting fault to suing because it's not going to go away unless you address it and if you address it on your album along with a plethora of just smashes as far as quality i think people will come to realize that it was just a moment in time where you was a little soft you sued because you lost but now you can reinvigorate your older audience that left because of your softer side pause and now they'll come back because you admit it fault there's no everybody has the moments as far as being salty or just being out of
Starting point is 02:06:02 pocket as far as your feelings being hurt if you admit fault and your album which you do a bunch of times you literally say in one of your tracks i forget but um i don't know if it was some sexy songs for you one of the tracks and one of the verses you was basically saying like I messed up one of the summers or something like that I forget specifically what what you was trying to get across but basically you were saying that you made a mistake it was very vague though but it was definitely if you was a Drake fan you know that he was talking about the summer about making mistakes so if you go into detail on Iceman I think that would be the most specific advice I could give you as far as giving something that people want to hear in a high quality way because you're drake people want transparent music
Starting point is 02:06:46 you being transparent and saying that i shouldn't have sued i think obviously you don't have to say it like that you know find some type of rapper way double triple entendre to say it to make it cool but that's the main thing you need to get across in my opinion um so this leaked by drake is not big news the main thing is that ASAT rocky is going to completely get obliterated every single time Drake feels like taking a shot at him because these bars I mean talking about his homie um saying that uh man how you're gonna let your day one testify so you can sit in the box either you ain't never did nothing for him or he must have forgot to the whole um do the math i've been hitting your baby mom stuff like that like there like there's some very poignant shots
Starting point is 02:07:30 that he's throwing at ace at rockies away so when it comes to that hopefully he dives in the other things about his faults instead of like throwing jabs at ASAP or LeBron or demar de Rosen I would like Drake to focus on himself and the mistakes that he made on Iceman so that's the biggest advice the most specific advice I could give but with that being said that's the main thing for Drake if he does come out with Iceman I would assume it would be October 23rd but of course that may not be the actual release date if Taylor Swift puts out another I'm alive type vinyl right if she puts out a another brush of my teeth variant or brushing my hair variant or i just woke up or i just went
Starting point is 02:08:12 to asleep variant you know taylor swift out here putting out 50 million variants but um if taylor swift doesn't put out another variant i would assume drake is putting out ice man october 23rd and just know what you heard it first so with that being said click my link to my bio let me know one of my social media is what do you think about drake's leak track taking shots at asap rocky and at the end of the day when do you think that drake's iceman is going to going to release. Now all of the barbs rest assured
Starting point is 02:08:46 that your man, analytic dreams is all in the case. And you're probably thinking to yourself, hold on now. You sound a little different. Well, that's besides the point. When it comes to Oneika, Tanya Mirage, we have to get into
Starting point is 02:09:06 a lot of things that's definitely hurting her overall perception. And guess what? It's not politics. You guys. See, that's the problem. Because this is not a political podcast, I wanted to focus on her registering two specific tracks for her upcoming album as far as March 27th, 2026. Now, you're probably wondering what type of source I got this from, because of course, the sources could be I made it up.
Starting point is 02:09:35 But actually, when it comes to the two songs, it's called Hunter and Barbie. Hold on now. It's a PG podcast. So we're just going to say that it says Barbie with the B word, right? And the reason that we know this is because it was registered through ASCAP, which is American Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers. So when it comes to that, the main thing that I wanted to point out was her registering these two new songs through that specific platform. Because, of course, this definitely signals to the official additions to her upcoming.
Starting point is 02:10:12 studio album slated for March 27, 26. Now, another thing I was wanting to look at was the title of the album because, of course, a lot of people probably already think that this specific album is going to be Pink Friday 3. But guess what? The one and only Oniqa Tanya Mirage came out herself and said that that's not the case. So she literally came out on Twitter responding to somebody to a fan, I think, who thought her album would be called Pink Friday 3, and of course she cleared it up seeing right here, it is not. Now, as far as this cover, Analytic Dreams video on Spotify to see the video along with the audio, you probably wonder to yourself, why did you not just go to your Instagram to pull up her latest post as far as what she's promoting? Well, ladies and gentlemen, let me show you something right here. If you type in Nikki Minaj, no, not the government.
Starting point is 02:11:04 If you type in the stage name, Nikki Minaj, it does not pull up on Instagram. i know that ain't who i think it is and then i went on to look at why in the world this is because i knew niki had the actual instagram and then guess what it literally said nicky benage deactivated her account on october 20th without any public explanation you guys see that's the problem so that's why i say your boy analytic dreams is on the case because guess what we got to figure out all the details surrounding this album as i already talked about earlier as far as her announcement, September 25th, 2025, and how that was very interestingly placed as far as in the whole year of 2025. The week that Nikki announced her album date was the same week that certain someone was promoting their album to try to uplift her first week sales.
Starting point is 02:12:02 But am I going to get into that? Of course not. I would rather prefer. It's time for a rap battle. But I don't believe that these two. women will rap battle in a foreseeable future because it seems like they would just rather take shots at each other over social media than actually engage in a rap battle which is okay because I think there's a growing consensus that Nikki is not the greatest at battling people when it comes to rapping now of course you probably think it's a hold up now that's blasphemy Nikki's one the greatest rappers of all time and you would be correct but when it comes to battle rap I'm not going to say it's a
Starting point is 02:12:40 completely different art. All I'm going to say is, to compare it to sports, it would be like going to the NBA versus playing in a streetball tournament where all the streetballers are doing all these crazy moves and you out here trying to follow the rules, right? It's very indicative that Nikki doesn't know how to effectively make a smash hit while dissing somebody. I think when she was going at Megan, that was the perfect opportunity to put those criticism to the side as far as a disc track that you put out. And let's just say the smoking on your dad mom and the overall structure of the track talking in between verses like it just wasn't a great disc track from a replayability standpoint.
Starting point is 02:13:27 And you already know when it comes to replayability how that plays into an overall rap battle. So anyways, the reason why I say that is because Nikki and Cardi, I don't think are going to engage in a rap battle anytime soon. And you will be surprised on how close I think is going to be if they do engage in a rap battle. Because pretty and petty, quiet is kept. It's pretty solid from Cardi B as far as going at Bia. I think that's a phenomenal track. And then, of course, the track going at JT, I forget what that track was called,
Starting point is 02:13:56 but I like the pretty and petty one. I thought that was the best disc track as far as going at Bia. And of course, Bia's response was pretty solid as well. But anyways, we're talking about Nikki right now. So getting back in the Nikki, I think these, details as far as her track Hunter, as far as her other track Barbie and then the B word being registered for ASCAP. I think that's a very credible source to basically say that her album is probably actually going to come out March 27, 2026 and she wasn't just trying to step on
Starting point is 02:14:29 Cardi B's rollout for her album. So another thing I was wanting to get to was basically Nikki Minaj's overall perception. Now, I saved this to the end for a reason. This is not a political podcast, but what I will say is that Nikki Minaj is losing a lot of followers as far as her and who she supports. Now, what I have to say to that is basically what being a public figure, right? And if you're going to come out like this and support certain people and then if you're going to lose the followers because of who you support, if that's authentically you, you got to just double down on it. because at the end of the day, it's always, don't people always tell you to be yourself?
Starting point is 02:15:14 So if Nikki continues to lose more followers because of who she's supporting, I think if she's authentically being herself, if she genuinely believes that those people are good people, right? And she should just double down on that because as far as being fake, I think your followers will see through it if you completely switch sides
Starting point is 02:15:34 because you've lost an exorbitant amount. I mean, $100,000 every 24 hours is a lot of, followers to lose. So, um, so yeah, I think Nikki's definitely going to come to a crossroad, uh, crossroads on whether she needs to be herself or if she's going to flip and become more of a middle ground as far as not supporting either side. Because there's a reason why Michael Jordan says both Republicans and Democrats, Democrats, uh, by sneakers. And I think Nikki Minaj is finding out why he said that the hard way. So hopefully I may sense, see, so that being said, click my link tree in my bio. Let me know one of my social medias. What do you think about?
Starting point is 02:16:09 Hunter and Barbie to be worked being registered to ask ask cap and are you anticipating Nikki Minaj's next album when it comes out March 27th 2026 safe to say that NBA young boy is one of the most interesting experiments that we've seen in quite some time but then you know what I'm saying like damn look at the state of hip hop like what's going on you probably think it to yourself why in the world would you say that well Ladies and gentlemen, I'm here to let you know. You guys. Let's break it down from a very interesting standpoint as NBA young boy, ladies and gentlemen, was released March 24th, 2025, right?
Starting point is 02:16:59 After serving 11 months of a 23 month sentence for a federal gun possession. Now, who was some of the figures that led to this release? defense attorney Zach Finling of course it's not a political podcast but we have to mention President Donald Trump
Starting point is 02:17:21 did grant a full pardon on May 29, 2025 for his Utah related gun charges ending his probation and residual legal ties. And then you have the U.S. District judge from Utah issued
Starting point is 02:17:36 the December 24 sentence with five-year supervised release crediting time served to enable his march exit. And then, of course, you have the Federal Bureau of Prisons, process, good time, credits, and early release per the BOP policy. Now, when it comes to that, I want to lead up to how NBA Young Boy was, you know, very interestingly enough, released from prison by, let's just say, a certain ethnicity.
Starting point is 02:18:11 right so they had a huge hand in him getting released from prison and right off the bat you probably think it to yourself what did nb a young boy do analytic dreams did he go to mcdonalds did he go to spend time of a family which you know we never know he could have he could have did he just chill out with his multiple kids ladies and gentlemen let me tell you what he did he went on a whole tour and just guess what just guess the title of the tour you guys see that's the problem the tour the tour the NBA young boy is currently on is titled Massa but then you know what I'm saying I was like damn look at the state of hip-hop and no not master not M-A-S-T-E-R-R-M-A-A-I-S-A I know that ain't who I think it is I know the black man that just got released from prison due to a group, I'm not going to say specifically what their ethnicity was. And then the first thing he does when he gets out of prison is titled his tour Massa.
Starting point is 02:19:17 And not only is it titled Massa, but guess how much is generated for the U.S. economy? Ladies and gentlemen, I think this is a very interesting experiment as releasing this young man to the public has generated at least $100 million via his tour. because you got to keep in mind jobs the tourism from people going to his shows of course the overall tour that's currently going on right now his music that's streaming phenomenally i might add because of the tour shot collin is the 65th most play track in the world what you is is the 92nd most play track in the world and when it comes to that he's followed all of this up by putting out an announcement for something that will drop two weeks after his tour i wonder what that project will lead up to but anyways this specific segment is focusing on his announcement for his ninth studio album titled slime cry now when it comes to that announcement the album is set to release november 28th under never broke again slash motown records so when you look at young boy and you look at him being under the Universal Music Group, which currently, because of Taylor Swift, I'm not going to lie to you,
Starting point is 02:20:40 currently has 90% of the entire music market share. And the reason why I say because of Taylor Swift is because she just put up one of the biggest first week sales ever. No, not 2025, 2025, 2024, 2023, the biggest first week sale ever. Shout out to the Swifties that been supporting the podcast because, you know what I mean, going from Taylor Swift covers, the NBA young boy coverage. I mean, the range, right? All right, my fault. So anyways, Taylor Swift had four million plus sales in the first week, right? Usually UMG has around 60 to 70% as far as entire music market share. So it's usually pretty high.
Starting point is 02:21:17 It's never 90. And it's never going to be 90 after Taylor Swift's second week numbers come in, which we're going to get to that in the second. But when it comes to that, Universal Music Group is always unequivocally the big dogs in the music industry. The only reason I bring up that album, not the album, the tour title is because who do you think? thing was behind getting young boy out of prison early expediting the process if you might add
Starting point is 02:21:43 in my t i voice expeditiously got him out of prison quickly to boost the u.s economy and i just want to know the thought process i don't want any smoke with young boys team especially not birdman i think birdman's a legend safe to say birdman is one of the most iconic figures in hip-hop all time there's biggie there's birdman who else I guess as far as the CEO perspective, you have to say, like, there's big, no, there's a bird man. I would say probably, I forget the guy who's over L.L. Cool J. But I think it's Russell Simmons. I think that's what I'm thinking of.
Starting point is 02:22:23 The executives, Burry Man, Russell Simmons, those type of people, they're probably some of the most iconic masterminds in the hip-hop game. Anyways, getting off my little nerd box as far as hip-hop. getting back in the NBA young boy pause you guys see that's the problem had to pause that one anyways as far as me and I want to spoke with you know the notorious burry man I'm putting respect on his name you know what I'm saying I'm not the breakfast club but him going on the tour title massa is very interesting because him coming off of his sentence early because of a certain group which I'm still not going to say to ethnicity and then titling this torr massa now maybe I'm the only one that that finds that very peculiar you know what I'm saying I feel like that one meme you
Starting point is 02:23:08 don't find that suspicious like hold up now analytic dreams video on Spotify to see the video along with the audio yeah I don't find that suspicious but then you know what I'm saying like damn look at the state of hip hop like what's going on now all jokes aside I am a young boy fan I do like the music that he makes because it comes from an authentic place one of my favorite artists who is Drake the main thing for me when people make music is putting their life into the music now of course y'all could say as a civilian you should not be advocating for these gentlemen to incriminate themselves on record but when you get the key to the city in Atlanta when a certain incident happened in Atlanta and then you come to realize that those two scenarios should not
Starting point is 02:23:56 be connected but they are a certain event happens and then later on down the line you get a key to the city. I mean, what are they really trying to say? I know that ain't who I think it is. Somebody is looking up right now watching NBA and Young Boy get the key to the city in Atlanta and saying to themselves, I know that ain't who I think it is. Now anyways, with that being said, NBA Young Boys' album, slime cry,
Starting point is 02:24:22 I think it's going to be phenomenal. I haven't seen this type of momentum since Kendrick dropping his Not Like Us anthem. I know what y'all probably saying. Why in the world are you comparing him to Kendrick? Because they're not the same artist. Well, as far as momentum and hip hop, safe to say, hip hop has been at an all-time low as far as in the year of 2025.
Starting point is 02:24:44 When I was looking at the charts, because, you know, I read off the specific charts. With shout out to Metro Boomer, having the 89th most play track with Quavo Breske and YK Nice with his 2Ks. Not 2K, his 2000s inspired album that a lot of people said it was trash, except for me because I was coming out, saying that Metro out here giving you all the fire in the world. Can he not experiment a little bit? So anyways, shout to him for having an experimental album, having a track that's charting as far as taking me through there. So anyways, the main thing I was going to get at was hip hop in general
Starting point is 02:25:16 when it's not carried by mainstream music for Metro is faltering. You had Drake, you had Kendrick. Drake currently has his most popular track slated at the 100th, as far as which one was Central C is literally hanging on by thread. is the 100th most played track in the world. Now, of course, Taylor Swift had 12 tracks on her album. That's the top 12 in the world. So it pushed some down, but it ain't pushed it down by that much.
Starting point is 02:25:44 Kendrick is currently having his, is currently in the backpack of Sizzah. And the reason why I say that is because the only track from Kendrick on the charts, is not anything off of GNX aside from Siza. It's literally, let me see if I can find. this. It's literally the track, okay, it is from GNX. The track Luther from GNX, but of course Siza is on it. And if you was wondering, some of the other tracks that was charting, not some of the, the only other track that was charting is not charting anymore was, I forget it was, I think it was 30 for 30.
Starting point is 02:26:18 It was the other track with Siza, basically. So Sizzas backpacking, side seven, I mean, white tank top right now. And when it comes to the hip hop field, you have big X the plug that completely sold out for a country album. I don't know why nobody calls it out. I guess, when white people do it and hip hop is called out and deservedly so but when it's flip when it's the flip side we have a black artist making a whole country album nobody calls it out but hey you know i'm not trying to be the bad guy actually i do not care shepherd so when it comes to big x the plug completely selling out to put out a country album he currently is doing the best as far as longevity in the year of 2025 for up-and-coming hip-hop artists if you look at the i'm not even going to call him a ricky
Starting point is 02:26:58 because i think he's been in the game for a minute but big x the plug is currently one of the top hip-hip pop artists in the year of 2025 as far as from an up-and-comer standpoint. Now, Drake, Kendrick, they still have the overall more notorious mass effect because, of course, when you look at Kendrick, Kendrick's album, GNX is the 37th most played album in the world. No tracks charting besides the Luther track with Siza, but it's the 37th album in the world, meaning that people are listening to their discography more than the singles, right? They're listening to their whole album more than people's specific tracks, which,
Starting point is 02:27:32 which is better in my opinion. I think it's better to have people listen to your whole project than a specific track, depending on how popular the track is, because not like us was out of here. So anyways, Drake, Drake's album, Take Care is currently the 26th most played album in the world, and then you have some sexy songs for you, which is currently the 28th most played album in the world. And then, of course, you have big extra plug that completely sold out for his country album. His titled, I hope you're happy. I wonder if he said that because of my fault. So, so, um, that.
Starting point is 02:28:02 album is the 36 most play album in the world and of course you have ken trail himself coming on the track with his album um massa which is the 23rd most played album in the world and of course shout out to young thug his album scudy is the 20th most played track in the world and i believe cardy has the the high yeah cardy b has the highest with am i the drama which is the fourth most play project in the world i think it's a solid hold as far as the third it's either the third or fourth week I forget, but basically, I think it's a strong hold to still have the top five most play album in the world. So I say all that to say this. NBA Young Boy is currently on a monumental run, and whenever he puts out this album Slime Cry, November 28th,
Starting point is 02:28:47 I think he can end up selling around 120 to 150 first week. Now, that's a lot compared to NBA Young Boy. So a lot of people are going to think I'm lowballing him as far as the first week sales. When I talked about Cardi being her first week sales I was pretty on the nose as far as I think that's specifically why my TikTok clip went viral
Starting point is 02:29:07 which definitely follow me on my social media at analytic dreams with just my link tree and my bio but as far as my viral clip on TikTok projecting her sales before the album even came out and I was pretty much on the nose I think it came out to around 200 and I basically said she would do around
Starting point is 02:29:22 170 to 190 dealing with superstars like this that's pretty on the nose because you know they can always hit the button but I ain't trying to be Aubrey Graham right now Is it okay I got my dope on me? So anyways, when it comes to young boy, his highest first week sales of all time
Starting point is 02:29:39 is sincerely Kentrell in 2021. That did $137,000 first week. The type of momentum that he has best believe UMG is definitely going to press the button because he's brought in a disgusting amount with his tour. When you look at his tour, Because I'm a Hall of Fame pocket watch.
Starting point is 02:29:58 I ain't going to lie to you. His tour, Massa, which has spanned from, what, September? When did his tour came from? I think it started September 2nd, right? And then, of course, it's going on until November 12th. It has projected to earn around $45 million. And that's just the low ball, $45 million. and of course
Starting point is 02:30:25 along with that he's one of the youngest artists ever to have this much success on the charts keep in mind young boy is the youngest artist with 100 billboard hot 100 entries and that was back in 2023 so he's even more now
Starting point is 02:30:42 so when you look at his rise as of right now compared to his career which is already iconic he is one of the hottest artists in the hip-hop game right now. Analytically speaking, of course. You guys.
Starting point is 02:31:01 See, that's the problem. So being one of the youngest, being one of the most successful artists to be that young, I think him putting out this album capitalizing off of this tour that just generated a bunch of money because that 49 million was just from the tour. We're not talking about tourism, jobs, things of that nature. That's what the 100 million plus came. man as far as me talking about how he boosted the U.S. economy because that's outside of the tour.
Starting point is 02:31:27 But when you look at his album, his tour, I think they're shaping up to have one of the biggest first week sales for NBA Young Boy because the momentum is through the roof right now. The perception of Young Boy is that he's one of the hottest artists in the game. So to capitalize off of that, I think he should probably put up his best first week sale numbers of all time. So 137 from Sincerely Contrail, which was his biggest, is first. far as back in 2021 when his last album master did 49,000 first week safe to say 49,000 is not going to be around what he sells with his uh slime cry album that comes out November 28th he he's going to do
Starting point is 02:32:09 between 1 30 to 150 first week I think they're shaping up for this to be the biggest debut for an NBA young boy album in his entire career that's already iconic so anyways Hopefully I didn't think I was just going to hate on Young Boy for this entire segment because I don't really, I try to keep it eight more than 92. You know, I give you the facts and then I'll let you do if that what you will. I keep saying, I'm still going to keep reiterating the sentiment that if you go to an NBA young boy concert, for all my gamers out there, you'll understand this reference. You know how you start a video game out and they ask if you want it on easy, medium or hard?
Starting point is 02:32:49 Safe to say if you go to an NBA Young Boy concert, Jesus is looking at you and saying, that you've effectively chosen your difficulty in life unless you say it's not easy or medium. You guys. See, that's the problem. So anyways, if you want to get beat up for somebody taking your spot
Starting point is 02:33:08 or if you want to see old man security get beat up, then I'll definitely go to an NBA young boy concert and, you know, I'll advocate for violence. But safe to say, if you want to see a show, for all the wrong reasons, go to an NBA Young Boy concert. So NBA Young Boy is definitely closing one of he's definitely closing one of the most successful years for a hip-hop musician as far as
Starting point is 02:33:32 2025 and when this album slime cry comes out November 28th I think it won't just mark another project in his discography I think it will end up being his best-selling album as far as first week sales into the foreseeable future because I do believe a tour will come after this album so when it comes to that click my link to your my bio let me know one of my social medias when you think about NBA young boy in general just notoriously affecting the masses and at the end of the day will you take a chance with your life by attending an NBA young boy concert ladies and gentlemen the track we're about to get into today is not on DSPs but then you know what I'm saying I was like damn look at the state of hip-hop like
Starting point is 02:34:17 what's going on but hold up now technically young boy does have an offering but guess what is actually Pluto's track title two crashouts and guess who is featuring young boy never broke again. You guys. See that's the problem. Now when it comes to that, the main thing I was wanna get at, especially for this segment, is the track where NBA Young Boy and the iconic, the ultimate epitome of what success looks like in the hip hop industry as far as Birdman.
Starting point is 02:34:49 But then you know what I'm saying? I was like, damn, look at the state of hip hop like what's going on? As Birdman has not only given us Little Wayne, Drake, Oneika Tanya Mirage But then you know what I'm saying? I was like 10. But also he's giving us NBA young boy I know that ain't who I think it is
Starting point is 02:35:08 As if you don't know, Birdman is currently managing a young boy So as far as a monumental run I know a lot of people in the hip hop game is wondering How in the world does Birdman keep doing it time and time again I know that ain't who I think it is Looking at Burryman going another monumental run in hip hop saying to themselves I know that ain't who I think it is. I mean, ultimately, we just got to put respect in all three of y'all.
Starting point is 02:35:35 All three of y'all got to put respect on Birdman's name. You guys. Anyways, talking about putting respect on Birdman's name, and you know, I keep it 8 more than 92, so I have to read this out because, you know, I just feel like I wouldn't be doing my journalistic due diligence if I didn't read this out. So, ladies and gentlemen, let me just get to a specific part. part of the young boy track now bird man you know he never called himself a lyricist right but safe to say analytic dreams video on spotify to see the video along with the audio because guess
Starting point is 02:36:12 what bird man i'm trying to put respect on your name and i don't think the tree of the individuals you want to put respect on put respect on your name i don't know if they're going to put respect on your name after this verse but guess what i will because guess what you're one of the greatest G.m. Hip-hop GMs ever. But this verse, analytic dreams video on Spotify to see the video along with the audio.
Starting point is 02:36:38 This is a PG podcast. All I'm going to say is that I'm replacing a lot of provocative words. Let's just say it like that. This guy playing with some gangsters. Hold on now. Forget that person. This person playing with some real
Starting point is 02:36:54 stuff. Man, forget that person. We owe down every person. and guess what? It's forget that person once again. But then, you know what I'm saying? I was like, damn. Man,
Starting point is 02:37:06 forget that person. Hungry, let me bust his head. Hold up now. Pause on the plate. You guys. See, that's the problem. All right, let's continue. I've been scoping on the gram.
Starting point is 02:37:23 I've seen what he said. Hold on now. What he's about to do? I know he ain't about to. What do you mean you seen what he said? anyways i've been scoping on the gram i seen what he said ain't no time to do no talking lights and infrared hold on now that's a bar that's a bar right there hey hey drake writing that down right now you know what i got my dope on me you know drake writing that down right now he's like
Starting point is 02:37:48 hold up now birdman got a little left in him i'm going to put him in the ovio sweatshop all right my fault so anyways uh the main reason why i wanted to read that out is because i just wanted to put respect on birdman's name and all tree y'all should be doing the same and all tree y'all should be doing the name right so getting back into the absolute point that i was trying to get across NBA young boy and burman currently have a track title forget that person but guess what that's not what's title so i'm just going to pull it up and because it's a pg podcast i'm just going to highlight what it's called right so safe to say whoever this person is they're talking about i think they really mean what they're saying in this specific title so um yeah man i just want to show you a face in society for for probably like
Starting point is 02:38:25 the next 10 to 15 months right so all jokes aside this is only on YouTube why we have no idea i looked at the DSPs there's nowhere to be there's nowhere to be found so he only has to track out with Pluto currently as far as his latest offering i think that would change because if you're putting out an album november 28th i mean you know safe to say my watch it's pretty correct as far as the time and um you know it's about that time to put out a single you know if i might you know if i do say so myself as far as a marketing strategy i think albums definitely perform well when you put out out a single before it. I don't think people just, you know,
Starting point is 02:39:02 it was like, hey, let me just give out free music. I think it's a great marketing strategy. But, of course, now we got a pocket watch. As NBA Young Boy did go on a monumental tour. My monumental, I mean, is one of the biggest tours in hip-hop, if not the biggest, right? Massa, which I've already talked about that title.
Starting point is 02:39:20 I'm not going to talk about it again. If you want to see me break down the title of his tour, like a kilo of Miley Cyrus, then just go to NBA Youngboy analytic dreams with a Z and my coverage of him would definitely pop up but when it comes to Massa having
Starting point is 02:39:37 such a crazy appeal to the masses pun intended there's something very interesting that I was wanting to get at now this man NBA young boy which if I could find it let me see young boy because then I cover this I remember covering this not too long ago
Starting point is 02:39:53 maybe it's not NBA what I typed this in as NBA young boy this man has a bunch of different names did you know the NBA actually sued that man uh not sued him but let him know to stop using NBA yet uh NBA in his name crazy October 16th uh 2026 I don't know why does them pull up when I typed it in let me see always because I wasn't all the way up that's why okay anyways um I talked about NBA young boy October 16 of this year and his album announcement as far as slime cry if you want me break down the title of his tour
Starting point is 02:40:24 just go to that specifically now getting into his tour not only is it one of the most monument mental tours and hip-hop but it's one of the top five most successful tours in the music industry but also not only is it successful but me as a hall of fame pocket watcher i had to run it through the system and find out how much this man is making because guess what when it comes to money this man is generating at least one million a show totaling 42 million for the tour and of course the net for him specifically is set to be 10 to 15 million because of course he's paying for everything so the net is set to be 10 to 15 million now of course those are just estimates I could be far off but as far as what I use to garner success in the tour industry he is touring and um
Starting point is 02:41:23 arenas so it's not the same as stadiums because he's trailing a lot of people who's doing stadiums such as cold play such as uh Shakira such as such as uh Siza and side seven I mean um Siza and white tank top uh their tours was were in stadiums so they're making a lot more money than be a young boy I would say after seeing the amount of people young boys been bringing out in arenas actually I would say he could do stadiums because he definitely can't I don't know if the police won't they do I don't know if the police won't they do We'll let him do stadiums. So he could definitely earn more in his next tour if he does stadiums.
Starting point is 02:42:05 But guess what? The police is looking at his current situation as far as what's getting canceled and what's not. And he probably saying to themselves, And we beat he folk. What do they do? We beat them. We go forward. And safe to say NBA young boy may not go forward with his tour because the police is on him like white on rights.
Starting point is 02:42:25 So that's all I wanted to get into. NBA young boy is doing phenomenal. One of the biggest hip hop acts that we have right now. And it's definitely putting up monumentals as far as the touring landscape. And of course, his track with Birdman, which is saying forget that person in the very PG way. Right. That's currently doing well as it has 2.3 million views in eight days. So that been said, click my link, sure in my bio.
Starting point is 02:42:49 Let me know on one of my social medias. What do you think about NBA Young Boy and his impact on hip hop specifically? And then, of course, do you think NBA Young Boy is next up? as far as the next hip hop superstar. In the mirror, like, I don't want to capitalize off this shit, but this was, this what, this what, this what the people, this what we, this how our relationship started, this is how it's gonna stay here.
Starting point is 02:43:19 You're pardon my ignorance, do you have happy songs? That's why I was about that. You see what, she's like, that'll make you be like, I don't wanna be the sad, nigger. Somebody walk in the room and bitch is like, yeah. I was gonna say, so. But that's what I'm saying.
Starting point is 02:43:34 But that's why. I even told my girl one time like, like, damn, like this shit, the music hard, but I don't want to keep being the sad. So, like, you're a prisoner to that. So that is the one and only Rod wave letting y'all know that he doesn't want to be known as a sad artist anymore. You guys. See, that's the problem. And I'm not going to lie to you. At first, I believed them.
Starting point is 02:43:59 And then, ladies and gentlemen, I looked at one of his tweets and he said, This hurts so much as far as the creation of the album, but I'm going to have to give it to y'all anyway. Now, when it comes to that, I was trying to look up the specific. Yeah, here it is. Okay, so analytic dreams video on Spotify to see the video along with the audio. Ladies and gentlemen, right after that, right? Because safe to say, this happened around the same time. This man said, and this is a PG podcast, this project hurts so bad, bruh.
Starting point is 02:44:29 Three heartbroken emojis. But I'm going to give it to y'all. album tracks album track list tour dates and merchandise is loading but then you know what I'm saying I was like damn look at the state of hip hop
Starting point is 02:44:43 like what's going on now Rodway's not fooling anybody ain't gonna lie at this point in time this man is the this man is the unprecedented king of giving
Starting point is 02:44:55 sad boy music because when it comes to Rodway giving us anthems via his heartbreak using soul samples whatever he has to do to deliver the classics that he's given us safe to say he's delivered every single time. I know that ain't who I think it is. So whenever I look at Rob Wave saying he don't want to be a sad boy no more, guess what? I'm thinking to myself, Wootty-D-D-Doo. And we beat him fault.
Starting point is 02:45:21 Woo-de-do. We beat him. We go forward. Every time Rob Wave say he don't want to be sad no more. Woot-D-D-D. Every time Rod Wave complains that people just look at him as a sad artist. So anyways, with that being said, the main thing I was wanting to get into is of course Rod Wave is going on a redemption experience tour that's scheduled to happen December 7th of this year to January 2nd of 2026. Opening show is in Los Angeles. And then of course, what I'm showing you right now is Rod Wave's Instagram post of him saying, just turned my album in. And that was two days ago.
Starting point is 02:45:57 As I mean recording this, it's October 19th. So safe to say, we could be getting that album in a foreseeable future as far as November or I would definitely say it's November because going on tour December 7th, the album, I would put money on it that it comes out before then. So November or December, actually November. The album's going to come out in November. I ain't going to lie to you. Every single time, Rod Wade be talking that sad stuff. You already know he knows when they put it out because when the weather gets cold, Rod Wade pops out with another album. So anyways, tickets are available via ticket master.
Starting point is 02:46:32 This is not an ad. But, you know, of course, I got to let you know, we, you know, we inform people over here. So it's his first major tour since 2024's last lap, which we have to get into how it was canceled due to quote-unquote management issues. And Rod Wave went into even more detail on the lawsuit. Yes, ladies and gentlemen, there was a whole lawsuit for the cancellation of this tour. So T Grizzly, not T, my fault. That wasn't even on purpose. I didn't try to be funny.
Starting point is 02:47:04 Rod Wave is, the lawsuit is claiming that Rod Wave owes 27 million, goodness gracious, and advances from the canceled last lap tour. Now, I remember covering the last lap, and all I wanted to know, let me go full screen for this, all I wanted to know is how many laps can Rod Wave complete. You guys. see that's the problem my fault for wanting to know his fitness status but anyways
Starting point is 02:47:31 with that being said the other thing I was wanting to get into is of course when it comes to the 27 million Rod Wave basically responded saying that
Starting point is 02:47:40 it was indentured servitude I don't know what that means but basically his lawyer came out and said quote Grizzly's baseless lawsuit oh okay so it was Grizzly's
Starting point is 02:47:52 production that's all saying now okay Grizzly's baseless lawsuit is an attempt to trap Rod Wave into an exclusive arrangement Grizzly has no one to blame but itself. Grizzly is the production of the tour just in case you didn't know. So they basically said it was logistically impossible to finish the tour and now they want
Starting point is 02:48:11 27 million from Rod Wave. Now how in the world does that happen? You guys. See, that's the problem. Imagine you're on tour. Your management team says, hey, we can't do the tour because of logistical issues. You're like, okay, we'll cancel it then. They cancel it.
Starting point is 02:48:25 And guess what? Now they want 27 million from you for canceling the tour. Like, hold up now. But then, you know what I'm saying? So Rod Wave is going through some very interesting lawsuits. I think he's going to come out on the better end of this lawsuit. Hopefully Grizzly isn't trying to be the reincarnation of Aubrey Karen. I mean, Aubrey Drake Graham, because that would be a very unfortunate event.
Starting point is 02:48:48 Because if you've seen anything, as far as lawsuits, going towards hip-hop legends. And Rod Wave is a hip-hop legend, by the way. You know, we still claim him in hip-hop. It doesn't end up well. So when it comes to T, when it comes to, I said it again, when it comes to Rod Wave, the countersuit was filed October 12th. And they alleged that Grizzly's production failed. Grizzly's production had failures, routing errors, and scheduling chaos, which led up to the logistically impossible reason for finishing the tour. Only 12 out of the 35 shows happened as originally scheduled.
Starting point is 02:49:24 Goodness gracious, I ain't going to lie to you. When I say how many laps can Rod Wave complete, this may be one of them. You guys. See, that's the problem. Now, all jokes aside, before Rod Wave fans get mad to me. I do love the musical side of Rod Wave's creation because I think putting your pain into the music is the quickest way to get people to authentically mess with your music. Because if you put your pain into the music and if it's actually your real life, you could touch on things. in a very complex fashion that people who haven't lived it cannot so that's why i always say
Starting point is 02:50:02 always be yourself in the music because people can tell if you're fibbing and guess what guess who's going to call you out if you're out here telling the lie in your raps but then you know what'm saying i was like damn so anyways um with this announcement for the tour with this announcement for the album safe to say rod wave is going to do fantastic numbers as last lap did 127 000 first week nostalgia did 137 first week and Soulfly in 2021 did 130,000 first week now beautiful mind that came out 22 was a little bit of a down year for rod wave as that only did 115,000 first week as I say only I think this break helped out because of course people are going to miss you and now that you're putting out an album after not putting out an album for quite some time actually
Starting point is 02:50:51 I guess he has put out an album every single year. 2021, 2021, oh yeah, ever since from 2019, yeah, he's been working. Never mind. He's been putting out an album every single year. So 2025 is going to continue him putting out an album every single year. And with that being said, I still think that there was enough time passed
Starting point is 02:51:09 because October 11th, 2024 to, I think the album will probably come out in November of this year. I think there's a good enough time for people to miss you and listen to your album in full. Because people already seen, Rod Wave songs. Well, else I do. I definitely do. Like they're in the middle of a church song. I ain't allowed to you every single
Starting point is 02:51:27 song that come in as far as Rodwaves, Soulfly, which is my favorite Rod Wave. That's my favorite Rod Wave album. Every single song off of that album just feels like a church anthem. I ain't going to lie to you as far as the way you can sing along. And Rod Wave can actually sing. So he's not crooning. He's not doing what a lot of people who can't sing do as far as autotune effects. It's just straight soul from his authentic and organic. voice um so that being said that's the main thing i was wanting to get into um he does have a track
Starting point is 02:51:57 out right now titled leaving and if you don't know that this album is coming out under alamo records uh the music video for leaving was directed by jerry production and ultimately just know when he goes on tour you never know how many laps he's going to complete on this tour so you might as well get it while it lasts so that being said click my link tree in my bio let me know one of my social media's what do you think about rod wave's announcement not only for an album coming soon but his redemption experience tour and what was your favorite thing if you went to the last lap tour handed down a sentence in the high profile shan diddy combs trial the rapper was convicted on federal prostitution charges back in july let's go right now to fox news national
Starting point is 02:52:47 correspondent c b cotton outside of the courthouse see analytic dreams video on spot to see the video along with the audio because of course we're about to get into how Sean Diddy Combs was sentenced to four years and two months in federal prison. Hey, well, yeah, the judge moments ago sentencing Sean Diddy Combs to four years behind bars, telling the court he took into consideration that Diddy was self-made, someone who lifted up others, supported his family. He noted that Diddy did a lot of this while even battling addiction but he said he had to consider all of the rappers history and he said that specifically he said quote a history of good works can't wash away the record he pointed out a history of good work
Starting point is 02:53:36 can't wash away the record you guys sad day in history for some but a justifiable day in history for most i believe as when it comes to the prosecution asking for a 11 years and three months, it's twofold because of course he was sentenced to four years and two months in federal prison, but the prosecution was asking for 11 years and three months. So they wasn't even granted half of that, a little under half. And of course, it's time served. So you have three years remaining. Safe to say, when it comes to the prosecution, they definitely wanted more time for Diddy on his actions because of course the highlighted 2016 hotel video of Sean Diddy Combs assaulting Cassie that specific video was a domestic abuse type of case
Starting point is 02:54:38 but what they was going for it didn't really have any credence as far as what they was overall talking about. So that's why the 11 years and three months wasn't really granted in full because of course it wasn't a domestic violence case. It was a racketeering and transportation for, I don't know, some like, what was it, prostitution or something like that. I think that's what he was found guilty on because the RICO case, the racketeering case, he was founded, he was acquitted for. So now when you look at it, as far as him being served, four years and two months in federal prison additional penalties as far as five hundred thousand dollars having to be paid by shan diddy combs plus five years of supervised
Starting point is 02:55:29 release after prison is um interesting because of course with him being violated for all that's what's called the man act m a n act flying people across state lines for drug-fueled sex encounters and then like I said earlier, he was acquitted of racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking. Okay, I guess he was. So I don't, I don't, that's why I don't understand the whole sex trafficking and then still being convicted for the man act. I don't know. I don't know the difference. I really don't know the difference. Hopefully I was not ignorant, but I remember, and this is crazy, because you know, I cover hip-hop. So when it comes to push a tea and malice, I hate to throw their names in here. But you know, they said it.
Starting point is 02:56:17 So hey, do with that what you will. They literally said, are we trafficking or tricking? Somebody got to tell us the difference. But then, you know what I'm saying? I was like, damn, look at the state of hip hop. Like, what's going on? And this is the clips we're talking about. The same artist that may win a Grammy for hip hop album of the year.
Starting point is 02:56:36 My sources are I made it up. But anyways, so they said they on that album. They was like, are we trafficking or tricking? somebody got to tell us a difference so personally me looking at all the massive amount of evidence that i've seen as far as in the ditty case i believe that ditty definitely deserve jail time because he was doing a lot of criminal acts but when it comes to what they were specifically trying to get him found guilty uh found guilty for as far as the racketeering conspiracy it was making it seem like more of a group organized attack when really Diddy was the issue
Starting point is 02:57:16 so for me I do believe you should serve jail time I just don't believe the prosecution came at Diddy with the right case they should have had domestic violence included in the case but of course the statute of limitations probably had them at an interest in crossroads because you can't really use the highlighted 2016 hotel video combs of uh video of combs assaulting cassie in your racketeering case it doesn't work as far as the statute of limitations which is why they showed that for like more public fodder than anything so anyways um but i do not think diddy it was just innocent should have been free today that's not what i'm getting across at all i do believe he deserved jail time.
Starting point is 02:58:03 I just believe the prosecution should have came at him more, came at him more correctly as far as the whole domestic violence point. So, anyways, when it comes to that, I've broken down this whole Diddy debacle. And of course, when it comes to Diddy, when I first started talking about this as far as August 30th, 2023, yes, ladies and gentlemen, I've been breaking it down for that long.
Starting point is 02:58:27 When it comes to Sean Diddy Combs versus the drink giant, Diageo, also the owner of Sarac. Call me a conspiracy theories, but evidence of a hotel footage with Combs, assaulting Cassie, happening in 2016. And interestingly enough, in the year of 2023, after he goes to bat and goes to,
Starting point is 02:58:54 he goes at the biggest alcohol company in the world, as far as owning all the major alcohols in the world, Um, right after that, so August 30th, 20th, 23, he goes at Diageo. And we all know how that ended up, right? Then in that same year, November 16, 2020, 3, he was accused of sexual abuse and a lawsuit filed by singer Cassie. And then they used the footage in 2016. But the whole time, fast forward to now, it wasn't even a domestic violence case. So I'm wondering why in the world was such a long ago video, be used.
Starting point is 02:59:33 used in today to take away Diddy as far as from the free world when it wasn't even a domestic violence case. So that's the main thing I was going to get across as far as my conspiracy theorist brain, as far as how even something as a 10, 15 years ago, they could still bring it up in today's age and get you for it. And of course, still not giving Diddy and out. I'm basically letting you know that when it comes to people in the higher ups, There's certain things behind the scenes that they can hold on to for the longest and hold over your head.
Starting point is 03:00:11 But of course, if you're not a monster, if you're not a criminal, they probably wouldn't have that in the first place. So still, I believe Diddy deserved jail time. I was just giving you what my brain was going to as far as my conspiracy theories. Because people who've been following the podcast, you already know how I feel about the Diddy case. But for new listeners, as far as if you're listening for the first time me announcing the sentence, you're probably wondering who's out of my own. So hopefully I made it clear. When it comes to Ditty's defense team, Brian Steele was one of them as far as him being one of the people on Diddy's team.
Starting point is 03:00:48 And it's very interesting how if you go to that video, he won in no parts of this interview. I'm not even going to play the audio because they didn't get anything substantial out of this interview. It was just a bunch of jabbering back and forth. Like, where is Adam Silver when you need them? I mean, even the NBA, one at a time, folks. like come on now if we're gonna get if we're gonna try to get answers for questions
Starting point is 03:01:08 everybody can't be asking 20 questions at the same time anyways the main reason why I say that is because really trying to figure out where the mental state was as far as after did he being sentenced for four years and two months because it seemed like a monumental win when diddy was found not uh when diddy was found not guilty of sex trafficking and racketeering but of course he was violent he found he was found guilty on violating the man act what's the difference I still don't know. As far as the sex the sex trafficking and man act,
Starting point is 03:01:38 I know what racketeering is. But that seemed like a monumental W and they was going to let Ditty into the free world. Fast forward to now, he had four years and two months put on his sentence. Of course, one year served already, so three years remaining.
Starting point is 03:01:54 But of course, people thought he was going to be a free man come October and he was going to be popping his, you know what, throughout the holiday season. That's not going to be the case. case. Now when you look at it, I believe Brian still saw this as a L because of course you already
Starting point is 03:02:12 know what he did for Young Thug. I don't know if I actually cover that. Let me see. Young Thug when it comes to Young Thug, I think the first track I talked about was Money on Money with Future and that was like me talking about his case because I really try not to talk about things unless it's music involved. But it is one of the most influential people in hip hop. I mean, I don't know if I have to point it out anymore. But y'all see who's on the cover of my podcast y'all know what the podcast is titled there's there was somebody who's very substantial in that man's career very influential very important in the growth of his career and that was sean diddy combs and that will always be a fact whether he's a monster or not he helped
Starting point is 03:02:51 notorious bi g and ways that we didn't even think was possible back then so as far as me covering this without any musical offerings from diddy that's where i'm covering it because i believe jZ dr dr dr dr day he's up there is some of the most powerful figures we've ever had in music so with that being said that's why i'm covering it but now when you look at other things as far as me talking about certain things as far as notorious b ig versus ditty the video of ditty assaulting Cassie. I mean, there's a lot of things we could go at just to showcase how he is a monster. But what's objective is how he was sentenced to four years, two months, minus one year because he served and he has three years left. He has to pay a fine of $500,000
Starting point is 03:03:45 supervised release for five years after that. And then the main thing that he did was definitely avoiding the life in prison because if he was convicted of trafficking slash racketeering, that's what that would help so some would call it a w diddy probably wanted to get out of jail faster but of course when it comes to the court of law that's what they came to a verdict on and now when you look at the monumental and the mountain of evidence that they presented in front of ditty's team seems like they wanted more time for ditty and they ultimately ended up losing so at the end of the day both teams lost it's just one team lost more than the other i would say The prosecution lost way more than Diddy's team.
Starting point is 03:04:34 They was looking for life in prison. Even after Diddy was founded not guilty of the sex trafficking and racketeering, they still was asking for 11 years and three months, even after he was found not guilty. But of course, he was given four years and two months. So that's the main thing I was going to get across. it's not a lot of things I want to say about this Diddy case. I mean,
Starting point is 03:05:03 this is one of the most powerful people in music. When he gets out, you're going to see that. You're going to see that. So as far as the things that he's being accused of, a lot of people who's saying certain things about him will probably won't, but probably won't be saying that when he gets out into the free world.
Starting point is 03:05:22 I know they're going to have a five-year supervised release, but they're probably not going to be saying that when he gets out to the free world. Once again, Diddy is one of the most influential and powerful people and music history. So with that being said, I just want to leave you off on that. Just cover. I just wanted to give you the facts and let you do of that,
Starting point is 03:05:42 which, you know, do of that as you will. So that being said, click my link, sure in my bio, let me know one of my social media. So what do you think about Sean Diddy Combs be a sentence to four years and two months in federal prison? And do you believe he should have been served more or less time? December 14th, 2024.
Starting point is 03:06:08 Shepard, just look at the state of gaming. Like, what is going on? Now, you're probably thinking to yourself, why are you just giving us random dates? Well, ladies and gentlemen, I have a very interesting reason for that, as when it comes to December 14th, 2024, a gentleman that goes by the name of analytic dreams. And, you know, as far as his platform, notorious mass effect, you should definitely rate this five stars and share this to somebody who likes gaming and music content, but especially someone who could predict the future. Because guess what? December 14, 2020, uh, this man had this to say. Uh, go to TikTok if you want to follow me, analytic dreams with the Z. But let's just hear what this gentleman had to say all the way back
Starting point is 03:06:52 on December 14th, 2024. If PlayStation keeps having game of the year, year after year after year, and it's exclusively on PlayStation, we'll have to have a real conversation on how to help our Xbox. Because a real conversation, interesting, let's keep going. Even though I own the PlayStation, I do acknowledge that if PlayStation
Starting point is 03:07:17 keeps tipping the scale, because right now they're winning by a landslide. And then look at the comments. So I'm going to take myself away for a second, because this is very poignant as far as what I'm about to get into. It's a very sad day. I'm not celebrating this. I'm just showcasing that.
Starting point is 03:07:31 I'll kind of be on the nose about what I'm, I'll be talking about. Anyways, let me let my past self keep talking. For every one Xbox sold, this is for PS5 sold, right? So if the scales keep tipping in PlayStation's favor, what's stopping them from having competitive prices like an Xbox? Why not mark their prices up? Xbox is getting whoops so bad right now as far as just popular games that also is high quality that at some point find a game that can be your next halo and run with it.
Starting point is 03:08:07 Xbox cannot afford to lose out on another console war. If PlayStation spoken like a true profit, because ladies and gentlemen, Shepard, just look at the state of gaming. Like, what is going on? Well, if you was wondering, let me bring myself back. If you was wondering, what's going on, I'm glad that you asked, because the reason reason why I played that profit who basically told y'all that Xbox is losing so bad in the console race that things could get spooky well now we have what I was officially talking about how
Starting point is 03:08:40 as when it comes to supermarkets not only has Costco officially confirmed the ending to the Xbox sales citing expire contracts and low turnover which is fewer excuse for faster stock movement. It was also providing evidence for Walmart, for Target to do the exact same thing. Now, of course, a lot of people reporting this specific story saying, oh, take it with a grain of salt. Take it with a grain of salt. But ladies and gentlemen, as far as this ginormous advancement in the gaming news, right, as far as news and it being headlining, this is one of the best we've ever seen because everybody is talking about it so you would think the Xbox and Target would come to clean it up right or not Xbox uh you would think Walmart and Target would come
Starting point is 03:09:33 to clean it up right of course not the one who came it came to clean it up was of course Microsoft themselves you guys see that's the problem that's almost like being in a relationship somebody else broke it off and when they asked you about the relationship you tell them no we still the I know that ain't who I think it is. That's essentially what Microsoft is doing because I even looked it up because you know at the end of the day I don't try to spread fake news and I'm not celebrating Xbox's downfall. I'm just pointing out how I told y'all time and time again that if PlayStation keeps
Starting point is 03:10:10 outselling Xbox we're gonna have a real conversation and Xbox cannot even afford to lose another console word but it seems like we may not even get to another console word so anyways let's get to the details as far as what I'm specifically alluding to, Walmart nor Target has issued an official statement on pulling Xboxes from their supermarkets. But Microsoft came out. Remember the relationship analogy I gave? Microsoft came out and said that both Walmart and Xbox are committed partners, but seemingly had no direct quotes from the retailers. Shepard, just look at the state of gaming. Like, what is going on?
Starting point is 03:10:54 Now, once again, this does not bring me any joy. I'm just letting y'all know that when it comes to the console war, one, the console war is a terrible thing. Like, the main thing you need to be saying is, are they keeping each other accountable? Because if Microsoft does something, Sony is going to do something to be more consumer friendly so that they can have more sales coming in. If Sony only has PlayStation on the market and Microsoft stops making hardware as far as Xbox, is safe to say nothing is stopping Sony for making the next console an exorbitant amount of price because guess what where else you're going to turn to but then you know what sounds like 10
Starting point is 03:11:37 like where else are you going to turn to if Sony is the only console in the market it's kind of like Nintendo and Sega Nintendo and Sega was going back and forth as far as a family friendly friendly consoles and now Nintendo's the only family friendly console and look what that's got us everybody's talking about drop the price movement which you know horrendously failed people are talking about how crazy price how yeah crazy in price the Mario car world is they're talking about the overall I forget what the word is but basically predatory that's what I'm saying the predatory actions as far as getting you to pay more than they deem fair Nintendo is the only family-friendly console on the market so they could do whatever they want.
Starting point is 03:12:25 And what are you going to do about it? So anyways, when it comes to Sony and Microsoft, this does not bring me any joy. But as of October 13th, Microsoft responded to those reports of Target and Walmart halting Xbox console sales. And they denied the rumors. Walmart and Target did not come out and send anybody to say, hey, what they're saying is correct. Actually, they did the opposite. they're staying quiet and they're basically letting you know that the writing is on the wall where there's smoke there's fire and ultimately this is going to directly affect the game the consumers because now sony has free reign to do whatever they want with prices going on the future obviously we could boycott and not pay for the ps6 or whatever they try to mark up as far as price but it's it's a it's a spooky scenario if sony ends up being the only one putting out hardware in the gaming community.
Starting point is 03:13:24 So a lot of people are saying that these are false reports. A lot of people are saying that, oh, it's AI. Microsoft already denied the rumors. But guess what? Microsoft's not the ones pulling Walmart or Target products out of their store. It's vice versa. Walmart and Target are the ones pulling their products out of their stores. So it's safe to say, Microsoft's not the ones they need to come out and clean this up.
Starting point is 03:13:46 is the CEOs of Walmart the CEOs of Target they need to come out and say hey we love Xbox and we want to be a committed committed partner like Microsoft alludes to them being all right they need to come out and confirm it because they're on the powerful end of the stick as far as determining the future of Xbox now when it comes to Microsoft I'm not going to lie to you they'll be all right they sell a lot of other things I mean Windows is is very immensely popular and they will be all right if they are Xed out of the gaming industry. As a company, Microsoft will be all right. As consumers, we will not be all right. If we just let Sony run rampant with the only console in the market, safe to say, there's going to be some scary developments that I do not think y'all want to see as far as having actual value and them actually giving fair prices.
Starting point is 03:14:46 for games and consoles in the future. Safe to say, Xbox still doesn't help themselves, as I've reported a plethora times on Microsoft basically waving the white flag. Microsoft came out and said that the raising prices on Xbox consoles, controllers, and then games worldwide, which to be fair, you could blame them on the tariffs because I believe Sony's done the same thing.
Starting point is 03:15:13 I'm not sure. I'm not trying to just cape for Sony. um see sony it doesn't seem like Sony place oh yeah okay so august 21st 2025 i cover Sony uh and and them raising playstation to get a 50 dollar u.s price hike so when it comes to that it's not just a one-sided fight i'm giving you the information and then you do of that as you will so when it comes back to let's go back to xbox and then we go to a microsoft specifically raising the ultimate game pass to $30 a month. Shepard, just look at the state of gaming.
Starting point is 03:15:52 Like, what is going on? So now you look at the console race, which Microsoft is losing horrendously. But then, like I've said throughout the years, until that news, as far as the Xbox Game Pass, ultimate price, rising to $30 a month, until that news came out, before that news came out, I was essentially saying time and time again
Starting point is 03:16:11 that the Xbox game pass was the most, cost-effective way to be a hardcore gamer but guess what they took that away you guys see that's the problem the only thing they had as a w they took away and essentially they was like we don't care if people leave us because the only thing that we had was the cost-effective game pass that was losing us money now you're probably thinking to yourself how can you how could the game pass be losing on money if a lot of people are using it well that's exactly my point if something is priced lower to cut off the the competition you're gonna take a loss but you're gonna have more consumers because you're giving them more value for the price
Starting point is 03:16:57 point but then you come to what ultimately ended up costing let me see if I could type this in right what it ultimately ended up costing Microsoft as reportedly, well now I'm Bloomberg reported this, so you already know this is facts. Bloomberg came out and said that the Xbox's recent increase in GamePath subscription fee was because of a significant loss of over, goodness gracious, over $300 million in Call of Duty sales across both console and PC platforms last year. And then not even that, according to current and former employees,
Starting point is 03:17:38 Microsoft CFO Amy Hood Has requested that Xbox Explore Alternative Strategies to boost its profitability. Shepard, just look at the state of gaming. Like, what is going on? So there was a reason why I kept saying Xbox GamePas was the most cost-effective way to be a hardcore gamer.
Starting point is 03:17:59 It's because it was losing Microsoft money. The prices that they gave for the Xbox GamePass was not reasonable for any stockholder, but they did it to basically compete with PlayStation selling 4 PlayStation 5s for every Xbox
Starting point is 03:18:18 Series X and S sold. They had to compete somehow so to get the consumers as far as the player base over the Xbox they made the game pass cheap as dirt. Now I don't want to be anti-consumer
Starting point is 03:18:30 because I do not agree with the price hike but you do have to report all the facts as to why they would go this route. If Amy Hooker, comes out and says hmm hey Microsoft if you could specifically tell the head of the Xbox division to make a strategy that makes sense that would be great right and you know all it is consumer friendly practices that's losing us money that's that's all good and everything but we're over here as stockholders trying to increase the stock and they keep
Starting point is 03:19:02 losing us 300 million plus dollars because they want to make the game pass affordable So fast forward to October of 2025 Xbox GamePass ultimate price is seemingly not seemingly It's a 50% price hike that really I think they announced that in November We still don't know when it's going to actually go into effect because I looked at my subscription I'm not going to lie to you I kind of thought to myself like hold up now maybe I should buy the full year to get around that I may still do that because the ultimate price is still the same but I don't know if it's delayed I don't know what's going on But at some point, they're going to raise it by 50%. So I don't know if they're trying to get people to subscribe to the full year.
Starting point is 03:19:43 I'm not going to advise you to do that. Just for me, as a content creator, it makes all the sense in the world. For the average gamer out there, you're really only going to play. And this is if you're a responsible adult, you're really only going to play two to four, two to four games. And I'm talking about in full as far as beating it. Of course, you could dabble with a plethora of games, but. As far as beating it, I would say you could probably beat three to four games as far as fully in a whole year. I'm not talking about multiplayer, not talking about the live services that you can play for 15 minutes and get like 20 matches in.
Starting point is 03:20:20 I'm not talking about those type of games. I'm talking about a real Ghost of Tshima, a real Assassin Creed Shadows, Expedition 33. Like those type of games, you can only probably play four to six of those a year. I don't think in any world is the 50% price hike for Xbox game pass justifiable for any average gamer. So anyways, with that being said, there's a lot of things that's going on in the world of Microsoft. It's actually a spooky place for the developments of the next Xbox console because guess what? There's so much that goes into a hardware as far as console from, I never made a console. so i can't like break down the details but as far as respecting the art of creating a hardware like a
Starting point is 03:21:05 xbox or a playstation i assume it takes years of development then you have to mass produce it then not only that you have to make sure the metrics is correct as far as giving it to certain stores on what's going to what's going to sell the most where and costco target and walmart pulling xbox stock seemingly is the same as cost remember Costco officially came out not like Take it with a grain of salt. Costco officially came out and said they ended Xbox sales. And the reason they gave was expired contract and low turnover sales. Let me put that in translation for somebody who's been in sports majority of their life.
Starting point is 03:21:47 Essentially, it was like when the 76ers looked at Ben Simmons and they said to him, hey, I think your time is done. You guys. See, that's the problem. somebody you see all the potential in the world and then you look at the actual analytics and you start thinking to yourself there's no way that this person is going to get back to their prime forum so let's just let
Starting point is 03:22:10 you go and that is a sad day in history especially for a lot of hardcore and avid Xbox gamers out there I mean I have an Xbox console too so when it comes to the console war I don't really participate in that I participate in the consumer versus company war
Starting point is 03:22:28 that's what I could that's what I participate in whatever is the best value for the consumers that's what I advocate for so whenever it comes to Xbox losing the race so bad that they're getting pooled from Costco and allegedly getting a getting pool from Target and Walmart is actually a really negative scenario to the point where we would have to see what happens in a foreseeable future but I think whether there's smoke there's fire and there's been rumors on Xbox going fully digital as far as the cloud and partnering with Steam. So if they become a third party company as far as Xbox, I think that may be the best route as of right now and maybe pull what some companies do for video games and take a year off as far as the console war
Starting point is 03:23:18 and come back with another console to where it blows PlayStation out of the water. I think that may be the best scenario, but as of right now, it's not a new. not looking good for Microsoft and Xbox. So with that being said, click my link to your bio. Let me know one of my social medias. What do you think about Microsoft responding to Target and Walmart halting Xbox sales? And what do you think about Walmart and Target not giving an official statement yet as far as pulling or discontinuing Xbox consoles from their stores? Ladies and gentlemen, when I tell you this is one of the most gigantic.
Starting point is 03:24:01 Enormous. One of the biggest deals we've seen in gaming history. As electronic arts has agreed to a what? A whopping 55 billion all cash leverage buyout, led by Saudi Arabia's public investment fund. Shepard, just look at the state of gaming. Like, what is going on? Now, before you create your theories,
Starting point is 03:24:34 as to why this happened. Safe to say, a deal of this magnitude is pretty substantial to the point where comparing it to the rest is the largest private equity funded buyout in history. And when it comes to the details of how they was even to get this type of wire through, because this is insane amount of money. I made $55 billion. Goodness gracious. I can't even imagine what that looks like.
Starting point is 03:25:04 person. So obviously they had to go through certain institutions to get this finalized. So 20 billion was financed by J.P. Morgan Chase Bank. Equity investment was 36 billion from partner firms. And when it comes to that, EA CEO Andrew Wilson will remain in charge post-acquisition. shareholders are to receive $210 per share, a 25% premium over the previous $168 closed and 17% above EA's all-time high. And expected as far as quarter two of 2026, oh no, no, the expected closing of this deal is set for a quarter two of 20206, but some reports say early 2027 because of course $55 billion I mean
Starting point is 03:26:03 goodness gracious I just wonder who in the world is able to get that type of transaction through I mean they probably think it's all type of fraud going on Shepard. All right my fault so anyways when it comes to the Saudi Arabia public
Starting point is 03:26:19 investment fund they already owned 9.9% of EA and will roll that stake into the deal. So ultimately, when you look at it from a stock perspective, EA stock spiked 19% in the month after announcement, closing near $202 to $203. But then the shares hit a record $193 after reports and pre-market plus 6% following confirmation. So now, when you look at the
Starting point is 03:26:54 interest of EA stock rising 13% post announcement reflecting a lot of different skepticism as far as you know the things surrounding the Saudi Arabia culture essentially speaking they put up the money and EA agreed you know how the notorious saying goes what or the notorious question goes what would you do for a certain amount of money all right they always say that right they throw around the most egregious action in the world and they will say how much money could someone pay you to do that specific thing well guess what EA did it you guys see that's the problem and their number was 55 billion dollars safe to say that number is you know exponentially higher than a lot of others as far as what they would do for that amount of what they would give up
Starting point is 03:27:49 for that amount of money so with that being said another thing I was wanting to get in to was the investors reaction to this as investors see limited upside now as the acquisition price caps potential gains but their alternative stocks as far as analysts recommending take two interactive and roblox for exposure to gaming growth as far as and this is not financial advice i forgot to say that this is not financial advice so if you do this just know i'm giving you reports i'm doing you information and you do of it what you will you know what I'm saying so anyways take two net bookings is 1.4 billion and gt86 is expected soon do that what you will it's not a financial advice Roblox revenue growth of plus 21% year over year and of course this is once again not financial
Starting point is 03:28:45 advice but when we look at the financial uh financial snapshot safe to assume that the 2025 of revenue reports is is saying that $7.5 billion with the fiscal year ending March 31st, 2025, which is insane. Operational profits every year since 2015. You got keep in mind. When people are talking about
Starting point is 03:29:07 ball and gun games, they're essentially talking about EA. I mean, EA has EA sports FC. They have Maddened NFL. They have Mass Effect. And then, of course, they have Neith.
Starting point is 03:29:24 for speed, Plans versus Zombies, you know, etc, etc. But then you come to realize they also have Star Wars. I mean, what doesn't EA have? And guess what? I didn't even name Battlefield and Apex Legends. And not even to mention the Sims. Safe to say it makes sense why $55 billion would be needed for EA to make this type of move. Now, EA does own assets and future cash flows and will help repay the $20 billion debt as far as the leverage buyout. Historically, it leads to layoffs and studio closures to cut costs. And it focused on short-term profitability via micro-transactions and live services, we're just talking about the historical nature of these buyouts.
Starting point is 03:30:19 And, of course, a lot of people are concerned. I mean, even though it's EA, and you know how people feel about EA in general as real gaming connoisseurs. They're even more concerned now about reduced innovation and risk adverse to game development. So, when I look at
Starting point is 03:30:38 the layoffs and studio closures, safe to say, I have to bring up how EA owns Mass Effect once more. Now, I got to do it. As when you look at it, notorious Mass Effect comes off of the inspiration of the video
Starting point is 03:30:54 game Mass Effect and of course the hip-hop artist, Notorious BIG. The main thing I want to let y'all know is if EA ends BioWIR's run as far as Mass Effect, I may shed a thug tear. Shepard, just look at the state of gaming. Like, what is going on? It may be a sad day in history.
Starting point is 03:31:17 It may be the saddest day in gaming history for me if this deal leads to Mass Effect being cut short. because of course we already saw as far as i'm see i've covered layoffs more times than i can count throughout the past two years i mean uh playstation ceo came out in february third of twenty twenty four around that time basically warning people of future layoffs a further layoffs citing unsustainability and triple a development because you know the graphics and the cost of development things of that nature versus the price point. Disney CEOs Bob Iger
Starting point is 03:31:56 salary jumped to $41 million as a bunch of workers faced layoffs back in March of 2025 around that time. And then you had Warner Bros. Games in 2024 having $300 million loss, which is insane, right, for Warner Bros. Who's doing phenomenal in the movie space? But guess what? We're talking about games.
Starting point is 03:32:17 So they had a $300 million loss in the gaming space. which led to a lot of layoffs and studio closures. And then, of course, we already know about my coverage about Monsai and how that game, which is abysmal trash. I mean, I've never seen a game and just thought to myself, wow, this is some garbage. You guys.
Starting point is 03:32:40 See, that's the problem. And they faced layoffs less than a month after launch. They basically saw the writing on the wall as soon as people played a game. So when it comes to layoffs in the gaming industry, it's happening all over the game. it's happening all over. Those are just some of the specific ones I reported on. So now, when you look at analysts and them giving their reactions to this buyout,
Starting point is 03:33:01 it's very interesting and safe to say. I did some journalistic research myself and had the one and only Nick Earl, who is a veteran mobile gaming executive with over 25 years in the industry and served as the CEO of Glue Mobile from 2016 to 2021. And he oversaw a bunch of things from the Kim Kardashian-Hawleywood to hits like design home and driving acquisitions such as CrowdStar. And of course, when it comes to him, he had one of the top approval ratings as far as the CEO. And ultimately, he spent 13 years at Electronic Arts. So that is why I wanted his take on this specific topic.
Starting point is 03:33:46 So here he is right here. is the former CEO of Blue Mobile, a company that I actually purchased, EA purchased back in 2021. All right, thank you so much for being with us. My pleasure. Talk to us about this EA buyout. How does transitioning to be a private company help the company's future? In a lot of ways.
Starting point is 03:34:13 It's having run a public company before in the gaming space, you know, I can tell you there's just tremendous pressure from a quarterly perspective, being freed up to be more creative, to think long term, to think of 10 years down the road as opposed to quarterly or that fiscal year, just allows the company to make better creative decisions, gets to manage their portfolio in a more thoughtful way. Being private just takes a lot of pressure off the company. So yeah, because EA has been really criticized for lacking innovation,
Starting point is 03:34:42 lacking creativity. So this is going to help them take bigger risks, do you think? I think so. I think they'll be able to take bigger risks in their traditional forms of distributing their games. as well as in the new open areas that are coming to hold like connected TV, connected devices in general, the mobile space, the freemium business model, all of which are really fueling the growth of the industry right now. And this is just a great jumping off point for electronic cards,
Starting point is 03:35:13 one of the behemoths in the industry going private. Not to cut Nick Earl off, but of course we have to keep in mind that EA repeatedly is described as the worst company in America repeatedly and it's top five one two
Starting point is 03:35:35 three four five is not it's top five and not four three two one guess what being the fifth most hated U.S. company in the world is one of the most insane things
Starting point is 03:35:47 ever and with that being said that just makes his acquisition come under even more scrutiny because of how people see the writing on the wall as far as its acquisition. And now having the ability to really pursue this growth strategy as a private company with this consortium behind them. So what role does this Saudi private equity fund play here? Why spend that kind of money on gaming? They have clearly been looking to diversify out of the oil economy and looking at tourism, infrastructure, entertainment, the live golf, as we've
Starting point is 03:36:27 seen. And they've taken a couple of big stakes into video games. They bought Scoply a couple years ago, very, very successful mobile company, Niantic, a well-known company in the space, and they have investments in Nintendo and others, take two. So they're really looking to bring this industry to Saudi Arabia and really take it to the next level. there as well as invest deeply into these, you know, these new connected devices and being able to find content to kind of fuel those, that distribution. And to even go further, as far as what he's talking about, the EA CEO, Andrew Wilson, as far as in his 2024 memo, said, quote, double down on owned IP sports and online communities, which basically was letting people know.
Starting point is 03:37:18 we are reducing the focus on new IP so interestingly enough that was before this acquisition you already know that he probably heard rumbling he was probably already aware of that deal so for him to say that for this deal to go through which is 55 billion dollars i'm gonna keep saying that this is not little money that's being thrown around here this is big boy territory multi genera just generational money and that's probably a statement so that being said now that you look at this could it free EA to be more creative as far as new IPs but oh no or will it risk prioritizing monetization over innovation because you have to keep in mind there is a 20 billion dollar debt and with that being said the ownership by foreign investors is definitely raising a lot of concerns and I think they're just as far as the people who's raising these certain concerns now that being said that's the main thing I was going to get into just want to break this down as far as the 55 billion dollar deal because you know I'm a hall of fame pocket washer so I had to break this down like a kilo of myly
Starting point is 03:38:33 Cyrus so with that being said click my link to my bio let me know one of my social media is what you think about electronic arts agreeing to a 55 billion all cash leverage buyout led by Saudi Arabia's public investment fund and what do you think this means for the future of EA now you already know what time of the year it is it is essentially speaking spooky season so that being said of course a spooky game to go along with spooky season is bound to happen but did we know that it was going to happen like this shepherd just look at the state of gaming like what is going on who would have thought that Silent Hill who has a franchise has over 10 million units as far as lifetime and of course its most successful hit is the Silent Hill 2 that came out in 2001 that in this first month
Starting point is 03:39:39 garnered one million sales and not only that because you probably think in one million that's it well ladies and gentlemen this 2024 remake talking about Silent Hill 2 mind you reached 1 million in three days and then 2 million by January of 2025, which is the fastest ever as far as the Silent Hill franchise. But here Silent Hill F comes, which is quickly becoming one of the best entries into the Silent Hill franchise. And the reason why I say that is because not only has FC drop, which numbers, you know, as far as analytically speaking, EA is doing phenomenal on PlayStation. It's the second most play game on PlayStation currently.
Starting point is 03:40:29 Actually, it's not, my fault. I was looking at new games. It is the fourth, no, it's the fifth most play game on PlayStation currently. Ghost of Yote is the first most play game. The biggest thing that stood out to me is, of course, Silent Hill being the fourth most play game on Xbox. And then, of course, you come to Steam, and it had an all-time peak of 22,011 days ago. And it's 24 hour peak is 6,000 almost 7,000 with 6,888.
Starting point is 03:41:00 So the main thing I was wanting to get at is putting out a psychological action horror is obviously not up a lot of people's alley. Because for one, if they're anything like me, they don't like being scared. I'm not paying money for you to increase my heart rate. If I wanted to do that, I would go to Burger King or McDonald's. So that being said, Silent Hill, I believe is the main thing. No, its main thing is basically messing with your mind, but also giving a very poignant story along the way. So with the horror elements sprinkle throughout the entire story, you still don't forget the fact that they're telling one of the most complex stories. If not, well, yeah, one of the most complex stories in the year of 2025, which is why a lot of people are saying that Silent Hill F is or could be.
Starting point is 03:41:53 a contender for game of the year now for me personally i still think hollow night would be up there for me and my personal favorite game i'm a little biased got played this with my cousin but split fiction to me is my favorite game of 2025 now that means there the main thing i was wanting to get into is of course the sales and review roundup so i talked about silent hill too which is objectively speaking the favorite amongst the fans of the the Silent Hill franchise. But when it comes to Silent Hill F, it's doing phenomenal on the charts. And when it comes to that, one million plus copies sold within the 24 hours is definitely reminiscent of Silent Hill 2 until you realize. Silent Hill F is becoming one of the fastest
Starting point is 03:42:38 selling Silent Hill entries in quite some time. So comparing it to the Silent Hill 2 remake remake that did, they did $1 million in three days, safe to say Silent Hill F is following in its footsteps and of course when it comes to japan is topping the charts um specifically with 57 000 physical units in japan in just week one the best since silent hill two that sold 69 000 in 2001 and then when you come to the franchise lifetime pre-launch i've already talked about that so it's 10 plus million but if you want the specific number it's now 12.7 million in total and of course this is going to keep increasing so when you're battling it out but not only e8 Sports FC, but also Ghost of Tashima, which is also one of those high-quality games that I personally, I personally played myself, you know, Shameds Pluck, Analytic Dreams video to see my gameplay of Ghosts of Yote.
Starting point is 03:43:35 But the main thing I want to get at is when you look at the competition as far as what you released around, you had E-A sports FC, Ghosts of Tashima, or not Ghost of Tishima, Ghosts of Yote, and you still are doing phenomenal as far as the sales aspect. because of course people forgot that borderlands four even came out. Shepard, just look at the state of gaming. Like, what is going on? And I hate I had to do it to him, but somebody has to point out how the competition in the gaming landscape is harder than ever as far as quality games dropping time and time again. I mean, we've had, just off at the top of my head,
Starting point is 03:44:17 split fiction, of course, Ghost of Yote, um kazan trying to think of other games uh expedition 33 we've had well woo ching fall and fell is kind of with no pun intended well i guess pun intended failed to the wayside but um it's a bunch of other games uh 2k was actually solid this year people really didn't come out and complain like they usually do it's it's a crazy year as far as gaming um yeah mario car world which people didn't really uh like like that but donkey conanza that was a donkey That was a Nintendo Switch 2 exclusive that was definitely competitive in the field. But you get the point.
Starting point is 03:44:58 Those are just off the top of my head. The main thing I was going to get at is, and of course, Hollow Night Silk Zone, I could keep going on and on about the competitive nature as far as the video game field in 2025. Because mind you, when Eldon Ring came out, it was leaps and bounds better than the next game. Okay, what y'all say? When Elton Ring came out, it was leaps and bounds ahead of the next up as far as competition for game. the year. This year, there's a plethora of games that if you said it was the best game, objective, well, you know, it's all subjective. But if you said Expedition 33, Hollow Night,
Starting point is 03:45:33 split fiction, if you say any of these games was a game of the year, nobody will look at you crazy. They'll probably just say, well, you know, that's your opinion. But when Eldering came out, it was such a big gap in that specific year that there was really no other game that could compete. So that's why I say the competitive landscape in 2025. is as competitive than it's been for quite some quite some time i mean elder ring was going up against like what was it god of war or spider man something like that like it just really wasn't competition no slight to those games it was solid games but it just wasn't innovative like elder ring so anyways getting back into silent hill f for the people who's wanted to engage with this specific game when it
Starting point is 03:46:12 comes to silent hill f it's a third person survival horror split into a fog world which is real Japan and a dark shrine which is an industrial hellscape now would expound upon that but of course i don't want to spoil anything so when it comes to that specific setting you're going throughout that with the whole main story um the main thing about it is it's very psychological it's a lot of different families and um haiku riddles and it's really culturally rooted so if you look for something that's not only just a jump scare you know just your normal scary type of horror game this is it if you wanted something deeper but also having that horror element i believe this is the game for you and it's a very short game i mean trying to be a completionist will have you around 15 to 20 hours when it comes to the actual main story is 9 to 12
Starting point is 03:47:05 hours and realistically speaking doing some of the side content if you just want to run through the main story is 12 to 15 so it's a very condensed and concise story that they're trying to tell and of course because I wasn't going to play it personally because I don't like being scared I looked up the story you know I did a little not reading but you know I did a little video essays myself like a plethora and when I figured out obviously I'm not going to spoil anything but what I figured out what they was trying to convey safe to say this game that's developed by neo bars entertainment published by Konami has one of the best stories I've seen in a video game in quite some time I've really
Starting point is 03:47:44 like the way that they tied everything together at the end. I know what you're saying. Oh, if you just watch the cut scenes, you're not going to get the main thing out of it. I watched the like video essays. So like breakdowns of the video game because I knew I wouldn't have time to play it personally. So watching the story, thinking about the intricacy that goes into telling that type of story while also making it a phenomenal game, because at the end of day, it is a video game. The mechanics have to be smooth, which is one of the slight critiques. It's not as smooth as you want as far as the combat but of course this is not street fighter it's not taken this is a horror game so when it comes to the story that's the biggest highlight to me as far as silent hill f
Starting point is 03:48:24 now of course the protagonist is hanako shimitsu hopefully i'm saying that right and then you have the childhood friend which is shu awaiy and then the uh and tag well i don't want to support that so those are the protagonists in childhood friend so now when you look into the the overall reviews because you know this is the sales and review roundups so getting into some of the review roundups IGN gave this game a nine out of ten saying it's the strongest since the ps2 error six is a success in almost every way polygon gave this an eight out of ten saying haunting visuals in an enigmatic story resonate universally game game spot gave this a nine at 10 saying bold brutal new take must play for horror fans PC gamer gave this an 8 out of 10 saying
Starting point is 03:49:20 the next step up for the franchise's rebirth inverse gave it a 9.5 at a 10 goodness saying one of the best survival horror games ever made shepherd just look at the state of gaming like what is going on so that's the main thing I was going to get into just talking about the reviewing sales roundups when it comes to Silent Hill is top in the charts in Japan of course is the fourth most played game on Xbox it's interestingly enough not on the top 10 as far as PlayStation even more interesting is that Digimon is on there what in the world Digimon keeps popping up as far as the top sellers because even on Steam Digimon is showing his head I'm like hold on now let me find out y'all was a
Starting point is 03:50:01 fan of the theme song like myself so because when I was a when I was a little kid like just walking around playing with Bay Blaze uh uh Yu-Gio whatever That was Pokemon on my Nintendo DS. You know, I was just thinking to myself that that is one of the best theme songs I've ever sung to myself as a kid. You know, that Digimon, Digital Monsters. I mean, that's a hit. I don't know why no rapper has a, you know, let me stop before a rapper make a drill song to it. So anyways, with that being said, that's the main thing I was wanting to talk about as far as the first fully Japan set Silent Hill.
Starting point is 03:50:32 Of course, it's female focus, dual composers, which has distinct soundstates for each world. And of course, it does have certain references. I don't want to spoil any. But when it comes to the performance of the characters and the story, it's definitely one of the, not only is, like, objectively speaking, not only is one of the fastest ever Silent Hill video games. But as far as merging Japanese psychological horror with modern action sensibilities,
Starting point is 03:51:00 I think Silent Hill just revitalized itself and showcase why it's regarded as one of the best horror franchises of all time. So with that being said, click my link to you in my bio. Let me know in one of my social medias. What do you think about Silent Hill if you played the game? What is your favorite thing about Silent Hill? And of course, do you believe Silent Hill F is a contender for game of the year? Getting into a game that I personally had some hands on time with.
Starting point is 03:51:33 But of course, over here at Notorious Mass Effect, we will be getting into the overall review and sales roundups. as when it comes to ghost of yote safe to say it launched out the gate of success as objectively speaking it sold two million plus copies within three days and when it comes to ghost of toshima when it comes to ghost of yote safe to say ghost of tishima which came out july 17th 2020 goodness that seems like a long time ago doesn't it but ghost of toshima had 2.4 million units in the first three days which was the fastest selling new IP for the PS4. So when it comes to this specific game, when it comes to the overall developers,
Starting point is 03:52:25 as far as trying to make something that's notoriously affected the masses, safe to say this was a success, especially when you look at Sucker Punch and their continuance of dealings with Sony. they obviously see that they're making such a great IP with the ghost franchise so ghost of Tashima ghost of Yote they are what I would call the up-in-comers of the next legendary and iconic IPs as far as in the gaming industry
Starting point is 03:52:59 I don't want to put too much sauce on it because you know y'all going to say I'm glazing you guys but at the end of day when it comes to your Mario's your Zelda's your Master Chiefs of the world you're always looking for that next mascot to take your platform to the next level. Safe to say, Suckle Punch has objectively speaking found that with the ghost franchise. With Ghost of Tashima being a success out the gate, Ghost of Yote being the success out the gate. And of course, with both of the budgets reportedly costing $60 million and Ghost of Yote recouping that budget twice over already because two plus million copies in three days, which is estimated $140 million.
Starting point is 03:53:41 in revenue, assuming the $70 base price because it's not on GamePass. Safe to say, Circle Punch is going to be in great standings with Sony for the foreseeable future. Now that being said, the main thing I was going to again to was obviously the review and sales roundup, but just letting you know a little bit of what Ghost of Yota is because I had some personal hands on time with it, you know, shameless plug, analytic dreams video on Spotify to see my Ghost of Yota gameplay. But the main thing you need to know is that this is an open world, samurai action sword play stealth and horseback traversal type game and of course it's structured in a six act
Starting point is 03:54:19 structure because you're hunting down the Yote six and what's interesting about it is you can hunt them you can hunt them down in any order so that means I don't want to spoil anything but there's a lot of flashback systems that dynamically alters the world state and of course you go back back and forth as far as a protagonist from her younger self to her current cell and When you look at a lot of things as far as the core mechanics, the combat, I mean, there's weapons for days. I mean, goodness gracious, I was playing this game and I looked into her eyes. And I said to myself, that's a murder. Shepard, just look at the state of gaming.
Starting point is 03:54:58 Like, what is going on? Like, I also play Assassin Creek Shadows. And of course, you know how to bring that game up. But when it comes to Noway in shadows, you look into her eyes. and then you look into I forget the character's name I'm tripping
Starting point is 03:55:15 I forgot her name anyways you look into the main character for Gosiota's eyes and you can just tell a distinct distinct difference you know as far as let me see Ghost of Yote main character so
Starting point is 03:55:27 okay at too that's probably well I forgot I don't even know if I'm pronouncing that right I think it's atu Atsu but y'all look at this right here Analytic Dreams video on Spotify to see the video along with the audio
Starting point is 03:55:38 y'all look at this and tell me that that's not a murder right here like come on now you guys see that's the problem you look into this main character's eyes you can tell she been through some things you're looking to now away eyes it looked like she may be on the next episode of disney channel now that being said the main thing i was wanting to say is that i'm definitely convinced that she would do the things that she's doing in this game by taking out any and everybody by any means necessary and that brings me back to my original point or my previous point as far as the weapons that she's been using throughout this game,
Starting point is 03:56:10 which is katanas, Naginata, which is my favorite sword, dual blades. And then, of course, when you come to the setting, it's dynamic weather base. So it's very interesting that the day and night shift is pretty abrupt. That's one of the things I saw with my personal hands-on time. I was like, it could be a little smoother as far as the day to night. But it was a nitpick, really. Another nitpick is, I know this is a place. PlayStation exclusive, but
Starting point is 03:56:38 I promise you the dual sense is not going to catch on. I don't know who needs to hear this in the higher-ups as far as PlayStation. Us swiping, hold up, let me get my controller. Us doing this on the controller. Us doing this,
Starting point is 03:56:55 blowing it, pause. You guys. You know what I mean? All this right here, the drawing, swiping, it's not going to catch all, my brother. Y'all got to give it up. Like, I know what you're doing.
Starting point is 03:57:07 PlayStation exclusive Sucker Punch pride thinking, you know, let's show off some dual sense features. I promise you we don't care. I promise you, we don't. So they do give us, you know, to be fair, they do give us options to skip those sections whenever you finish it the first time. So it's not a big critique. That's why I says it's a slight critique.
Starting point is 03:57:25 But another thing, as far as the main story, is 20 to 25 hours and there with side content is 40 to 50 hours. But of course, for completion is out there. this game will take you around 60 to 70 hours and then of course new game plus as a remix of difficulty in cosmetics which off the bat you can remix the difficulty that's one of the things i noticed like as far as dark souls games they don't give you a difficulty slider because they want you to suffer as far as ghost type games i don't know if this happened in ghost of to shima because i didn't play that one but in ghost of yote off the bat they let you customize the difficulty so you can have
Starting point is 03:58:03 very easy as far as certain mechanics but then on others you can put on expert so really customizes the experience on what you want to be easy and what you want to be hard so i thought that was pretty interesting that's the first time i really saw that i was like huh that's a pretty good idea as far as for a game based on combat so um just food for thought for souls like developers out there i know they not they not hear me you know me they're not they like hey y'all gonna suffer and you gonna like you so anyways um getting back in the ghost of yote they did have some very interesting interesting trouble as far as the marketing strategies for this game. I will say the trailers, the marketing strategies for this game did not do it justice.
Starting point is 03:58:43 I know they showed off a lot of different weapon gameplay and how gory it was as far as the blood everywhere. And I just think the marketing strategy for this specific game should have focused on a lot of the world building. I know you don't want to spoil the game, but just showing us gameplay and not even showing us how, much depth you put into the story. Maybe it's because of Ghost of Tsushima. Maybe it's like a puncher's like, you know, we don't need to advertise that. People already know how we come, how we coming. But I do believe the marketing strategy could have been better. I think it was a little lackluster as far as showcasing how good this game actually is. I mean, I wouldn't be mad. if somebody said this was their game of the year or if they thought this should be a contender for
Starting point is 03:59:26 game of the year. It's really that good as far as the overall story. The seamlessly as far as fast travel is insane next next uh next gen consoles which is technically current gen as far as ps5 xbox series x and s um yes it's current gen for you people who still have ps4s out there you know it'd be like that but hey come on now you guys see that's the problem but when they first was talking about fast travel with these current gen consoles i think ghost of yote is exactly that that's exactly what they was talking about fast travel doesn't even it doesn't even feel like you went into any type of transition screen it's just like it's like that and you're in the next location so like open world is like very easy to transverse as far as going from one point to the next that's one of the biggest
Starting point is 04:00:15 things i would give them a huge kudos on because i don't understand for the life of me if you're going to make a game for curingin using the updated technology we have and you already promised that loading screens would be down to a minimum why wouldn't every game have fast travel like you're like we should just be instantly in the next location so anyways um this game does not have any loading screens that's the main thing i wanted to say that but the transversal is beautiful as you can see right here analytic dreams video on spotify to see the video along with the audio and this doesn't even do it justice like i was playing on my ps5 pro just like flex nothing too crazy um and you put on ray tracing pro as far as for performance when i tell you it looked straight up it looked like it was
Starting point is 04:00:56 straight out of a movie as far as the graphics it was phenomenal so the main thing I was also wanting to get to aside from us already again to the sales I wanted to talk about the reviews so as far as the reviews for this game IGN came out and gave ghost of yote a 9 out of 10 saying
Starting point is 04:01:14 unbelievably striking visuals and fluid captivating open world action Atsu's revenge tale feels more personal and less romanticized than Jen's story now I never played ghost of Tashima so ghost of Tashima fans don't get mad at me
Starting point is 04:01:30 I'm just giving you the review roundup of this specific game. Game spot gave Goseiotea 9 out of 10, saying gripping revenge narrative, shaped by Atsu's underdog journey, contrasts with feudal Japan's beauty and violence masterfully with 53 plus hours of compelling content. Games radar gave it a 4.5 out of 5, saying best exploration in any open world game. That's a claim right there. and they say hyper violent,
Starting point is 04:02:03 Samurai Quest fell boundary pushing with stunning PS5 visuals and satisfying sores play. You know, as a fighting game connoisseur, I'm not going to lie to you. I thought I was a little Tekin whenever I was getting into combat with Ghost of Yote. I don't know how they explain it, because of course,
Starting point is 04:02:20 Tekin doesn't have the overall, but yeah, they do have the 3D. Anyways, yeah, I feel like it's like Tekin. I feel like she's a great character to be put in Tekken, but, you know, that's just me. Looking at the fighting game, mechanics the reason why I brought up Tekken is because that should give you an indication on how great the fighting mechanics are and when you first get into the game that's not what you're going to be
Starting point is 04:02:41 experiencing throughout the majority of time because you're going to have multiple weapons that you acquire along your journey and once you get to that last weapon I think this is shaping up to be one of the greatest fighting games that we've had in the past two to three years as far as the fighting game mechanics getting back into the review roundups. Game Informer gave it a 9.3 at a 10 saying intimate hit list progression is incredibly satisfying. Polish combat narrative and world building make it a magnum opus of the genre. So it's safe to say everybody's loving this game. I mean that's just across the board I haven't seen the score lower than eight. So and I haven't seen the score. Okay, Eurogamer gave it a eight at
Starting point is 04:03:27 him but every other score literally every other score is above a nine so when you look at that i think this game deservedly is um earning the respect of the game and community because coming after ghost of tashima having a woman protagonist you already know how the crazy people are going to come out of the woodworks to say it's a trash game because they have a woman as a protagonist which is the most assonial argument ever but people make it I swear to you, people make it for some reason. I mean, sometimes I just think to myself. Shepherd, just look at the state of gaming.
Starting point is 04:04:04 Like, what is going on? What is the state of gaming when people can come out and give these egregious takes based on the gender of a protagonist? Anyways, that means it said. Ghost of Yote is phenomenal. If you don't know, it's cultural ties such as a... Hopefully I'm saying this right. Aainu inspired design, local tourism,
Starting point is 04:04:24 tourism collabs. It has a cinematic feature such as the Takashi Mike, which is the Gore mode, and then Watanabe, what Tanabi mode, which is low-fi hip-hop aesthetic. Now, I was going to play that,
Starting point is 04:04:37 but I was streaming this game, and I've seen other streams where it's just completely muted when you play Watanabi mode. We're not completely, but it's like good. There's enough portions to make you be like, you know, it's not worth going through all that. So if you're a streamer,
Starting point is 04:04:49 I would not advise using Watanabi mode if you're on Twitch. and then I already talked about the dual scenes controllers there's a nonlinear revenge meaning that the boss order impacts ending outcomes I'm not going to spoil it but this is this game gets deep when you start to realize what they're trying to tell you as far as the gameplay the fighting mechanics right because you're learning throughout this entire game that's the only thing I'm gonna say um so that's essentially it with that being said
Starting point is 04:05:16 go see yote deservedly is maybe the game of a contentious tinge for game of the year when you look at it on certain platforms it is not on the top 10 as far as xbox when it comes to playstation it is currently the most play game on playstation uh oh i'm tripping it's see you guys see that's the problem i'm gonna keep that in there too this is how you know it's one take live like j z you know what i'm saying so anyways uh it's top 10 games in the world but as far as the top 10 and playstation because it's only on playstation I wonder Now I got to joke on myself for a second
Starting point is 04:05:55 I wonder why Ghostio T is not on the top 10 list for Xbox man if y'all can answer that for me that would be fantastic man Shepard just look at the state of gaming like what is going on I swear man I'm 25 going on 82 man
Starting point is 04:06:09 sad day in history but anyways the only platform that is on which is PlayStation is objectively speaking the most play game on PlayStation which you would think with it exclusively being on PlayStation it would be the most play
Starting point is 04:06:22 game on PlayStation but that's not always the case you know this is a this a reoccurring joke that PlayStation players do not like to play exclusive PlayStation games like they do as far as Xbox games coming over to PlayStation and I think Forza was an example of that it was another game that was it was it was it a some type of was it the pirate game I don't know if it was the pirate game it was a shoot it was another shooting game that's my third example um it was a hell divers Was it Hell Divers? That was called? I think that game was exclusively for Xbox,
Starting point is 04:06:57 so I'm not mistaken. They came to PlayStation. I think it was Hell Divers, too. Maybe I'm tripping. I think it came to Xbox, and then Hell Divers 2 came to PlayStation. It was like one of the top most played games on PlayStation. And, you know, I just feel like,
Starting point is 04:07:10 For as a Horizon is looking at all this engagement for games that's coming to PlayStation, they're looking at it like, hold on now. I know that ain't who I think it is. I know PlayStation gamers aren't coming. here playing Xbox games more than me who's exclusively on the PlayStation so you know fours the horizon you know shout out to you but I think you're one of the most industry plant franchises we've had in the gaming industry ever so um ghost of yote
Starting point is 04:07:35 deservedly is increasingly having so much praise and deservedly so once again and it is unequivocally objectively objectively speaking the most play game on PlayStation so that being said click my link to your in my bio let me know one of my social medias what do you think of ghost of yote as far as the gameplay have you played it what is your favorite part about ghost of yote and do you believe that 2025 has to go down is one of the best years in gaming because this game is another question that is another game that i have to pose the question do you believe ghost of yote is a contender for game of the year ladies and gentlemen the major sports leagues have officially kicked off and by kicked off of course for my m lb
Starting point is 04:08:27 fans out there you're already saying to yourself hold up now technically MLB has been continuing for quite some time as far as in the year of 2025 to the point where it is in the playoffs currently with the NLCS game two which is certain teams that I have no idea who they are or what they're about but anyways they're playing tonight so the MLB playoffs is currently still going on NFL week six is going on right now and then we have the NBA that tips off later this month October 21st and then of course you have the NHL which is already underway in week one action and the reason why I say that is the lead up into EA FC 26 as with the major leagues in real life already starting you already know the video game attachments to the
Starting point is 04:09:19 real life league is set to take off as well as you look at the sales as far as on every single console i will there's only xbox and playstation but you get the point every single console steam and you come to realize sports games are notoriously infect affecting the masses year after year to the point where it's very interesting how in the world call of duty always has the most popular game every single year as far as objective metrics but in totality sports games are always in the top five and that's no different as 2k fc and then of course you have Madden towards the top of the sports games as far as leading that specific metric because as far as the ball and gun gamers out there those are the games are playing they're currently playing 2k battlefields uh battlefield six call of duty FC you get the point so with this specific segment
Starting point is 04:10:13 breaking down fc 26 after you realize that they put out these games year after year we got to focus on a specific statistical accomplishments of EAFC 26 so with that be that said when it comes to the review and sales round up over here at notorious mass effect we have to start off with FC 26 accomplishing a very impressive metric such as nine million plus units and of course when it comes to that it was 5.5 million on PlayStation which made it the the fastest selling sports title of 2025 and that's not it as when you look at the you look at the units in Europe, it's accumulated over 158,000, which, to be fair, as far as people over there who think I'm glazing these sports games, I do believe when it comes to the objective
Starting point is 04:11:10 metrics, now I do as far as the sources that I use, is 8% down as far as compared to FC25. So yes, it's putting up monumental numbers because like I said earlier, ball and gun games are notoriously affecting the masses. But when it comes to their counterparts released last year, they're not performing at the same rate that their 20-24 counterparts did. So when it comes to that, there's a lot of different things we can get into as to why that is. I just believe that we're in a certain economy to where you look at the landscape of gaming and Xbox GamePass used to be emphasis on used to. used to be the most effective way to play a plethora of games as a gamer. But now, as far as cost effectiveness, it has went out the window because Xbox raised the game
Starting point is 04:12:04 passed by 50%. Now, they did say they're going to delay the actual developments of that price increase, but at some point it's going to happen. As I already dove into it as far as when I broke down Black Ops and how much money they lost off of accumulating. or not accumulating acquiring Activision and the amount that they thought they was going to make via the game pass and ultimately didn't make so when it comes to these ball and sports games it's not just a automatic hit out of the park because of them topping the charts year after year so when it comes to EAFC 26 yes it's doing phenomenal on the charts yes it accumulated nine point a nine million plus units as far as global sales but when it comes to comparing it to last year is down by eight percent as far as the specific tracking of EAFC 25 and EAFC 26 now could pick up but usually when it comes out the gate and a week or two later which you know technically this would be a week or two later because i
Starting point is 04:13:02 believe e a fccc 26 release date ea fc 26 came out september 26 of 2025 so safe to say in october 14th which is when i'm recording this safe to say now when it comes to that specific game We have enough of a snapshot and enough of a sample size to garner, whether it's going to be on pace or surpass EASC-25. It's safe to say, it's doing neither. It's actually underperforming when it comes to EASC-25. Because obviously any other game development company putting out a game will love these type of numbers out the gate.
Starting point is 04:13:41 But ball and gun games have a way different expectation. And speaking of those expectations, safe to say, when it comes to platforms EAFC 26 is the six most played game on PlayStation and when it comes to Steam it technically wasn't in the top 15 but when you look at the numbers, goodness gracious it did have 100,000 people playing the game but that was 16 days ago.
Starting point is 04:14:05 So now you look at the 24 hour peak as of today, October 14th as of me recording this and it's 79,000 and then the players concurrently playing right now is 57,000. So now when you're, look at the reason for that a lot of people are praising it for its realism and depth a depth like they always do but one of the interesting things with eafc 26 is not only the rise in people understanding how corporations are trying to monetize them for every single thing but then you come to realize not only are consumers getting smarter but when it comes to technical errors via these releases they're
Starting point is 04:14:46 also facing more backlash from consumers. Now you probably tell you probably ask yourself, what do I mean about that? Well, ladies and gentlemen, I'm glad you asked. As when it comes to EAFC 26 in this launch, it was a decimal error in Indonesia's store which priced it at 18,500 FC points, which is normally $120. But when it comes to PC players using VPNs to spoof IPs and exploit this, building overpowered ultimate teams cheaply, flooding, magic. with super teams and crashing the transfer market, safe to say this is a very unique issue as far as in the franchise.
Starting point is 04:15:23 So EA had to come out with the quickness. They came out like TI himself and said, we need to fix this expeditiously. So anyways, EA patched the glitch quickly but issued suspensions slash permanent bans for violators, citing the TOS breaches on regional pricing and unfair advantages. So when it comes to consumers being smarter, that's basically what I'm saying. saying like they're finding a lot of different ways to make things more cost effective and on the flip side whether it's legally or illegally these gamers are finding cheaper measures to play these games by any means necessary shepherd just look at the state of gaming like what is going on so when it comes
Starting point is 04:16:08 to the state of gaming let's get back in the EAFC 26 as when it comes to the gameplay you already know is developed by EA Vancouver and EA Romania as far as the live services and then you have platforms for this game such as PS5 PS4 Xbox Series X and S Xbox 1 PC switch switch 2 and even I mean no less is that what what is the what is the what is the Amazon Luna what is Amazon Luna what is this Amazon Luna what is this what is cloud gaming oh Let me find out. Let me find out that what Xbox was doing,
Starting point is 04:16:48 Amazon Ben tried to get through as far as the cloud gaming, but just didn't break through because of the overall market share of Xbox and PlayStation. That's interesting. Amazon Luna is a real thing. I saw that. I was thinking to myself, hold on now. You know, we don't do fake news over here. But hey, if somebody out there who's watching this,
Starting point is 04:17:06 shout out to you for having an Amazon Luna, and I'm glad I can help you out by letting you know the EAFC game is on there. so anyways uh getting back in the crossplay that's one of the main things for every single sports game i was completely flabbergasted when um who was that soccer the arcade soccer game arcade i forgot his name soccer game i think it was rematch yeah it was rematch when rematch came out and it was a whole sports game that didn't have crossplay i was thinking to myself hold up now you guys see that's the problem in no world especially in the big year of 2025, should a sports game come out without crossplay? What rematch did
Starting point is 04:17:47 out the gate without having crossplay, I think it was very tone-deaf as far as what the sports landscape was requiring. And of course they put cross-play in shortly after its launch, but every sports game should come out with cross-play at the beginning. I don't care what type of sports game you are. If you want to compete with other sports games, you should have cross-play at launch so anyways that was just a slight critique because they did fix it so shout out to the rematch uh developers for fixing that but when it comes to the EA FC obviously is a little more realistic there's an 11 11 simulation there's competitive mode for faster um for faster gameplay and an authentic mode for realistic fatigue physics and AI and of course you have a lot of modes
Starting point is 04:18:35 such as um f ut clubs player player career and manager career which is which you come to expect as a, as a sports gamer. And then, of course, the match lengths are anywhere between six minutes. Oh, yes, basically. It estimates the six minutes three per half. So, and that's also adjustable. But then you come to the live challenges. There's dynamic weekly manager scenarios.
Starting point is 04:19:02 And then, of course, as far as improved AI, you already know on today's age. You definitely been working on that. So they improved that to the point where positioning, off ball runs, and goalkeeping realism was one of the main focus as far as improvements in AI. And then you look at the server slash connectivity. And a lot of people are saying that it's running well as far as these sports games. I don't think there's ever an EA that comes out. And then people just be like, this is the worst brand online system that I played in quite some time.
Starting point is 04:19:33 Like EAFC usually has pretty solid and serviceable online as far as, as far as, as far as people's connection and overall frame race. So now when you look at the lack of lag in all line modes, you come to realize that this game definitely has a certain pattern. And of course, year after year, when I get into this specific game, I try to figure out what specifically to focus on to differentiate these EAFC games from one another. So now, speaking of that, let's get into some of the review roundups. As I already talked about the sales, when it comes to XASC.
Starting point is 04:20:11 box i didn't see a e a fc on any of the top five top 10 list so when it comes to playstation it's the most popular it seems it seems like ea fc 26 is the most popular on playstation and it's the six most play game on playstation currently on steam is not in the top 15 but it does have a 24-hour peak of 79000 to 57 000 people playing right now which is it's pretty solid numbers especially for a sports game and then you come to uh the switch and you come to realize the a fc is the 21st most play game on switch which may be surprising to some but of course when you look at the switch i'm not going to say it's more niche gamers because of course you have your marios of the world but a lot of people are enjoying final fantasy tactics a lot of people are enjoying uh donkey
Starting point is 04:20:59 conanza minecraft uh mario cart once again uh Pokemon animal you get the point it's not really a ball sports type of platform like a steam PlayStation or Xbox so with that out the way let's get into some of the review roundups now that we've dove into the sales a little bit as when it comes to the review roundups IGN gave this an 8 out of 10 basically saying EAFC's 26 on pitch gameplay is the best been in the long time dribbling is sticky and responsive pulse a yo you guys see that's the problem all right my fault passing is crisp but despite the positive improvements and increased focus on monetization is more than distracting. I know that ain't who I think it is.
Starting point is 04:21:46 EA back at it again. But anyways, GameSpot gave this 8 out of 10 saying EA Sports FC26 suffers from a few growing pains with its shift to two distinct playstouts. But there are enough improvements throughout to consider, there enough improvements throughout to consider it a positive step forward. for the long running series. PC Gamer gave it an 8 out of 10 saying truly a beautiful game. But it makes plenty of unforced errors.
Starting point is 04:22:16 FC26 is a football game for better or for worse. And there's a good chance you already know whether you want to buy it. Shepard, just look at the state of gaming. Like, what is going on? So run to the press is breaking news. Tell everybody that, hey, EASC is exactly like a. all the other E.S. FCs out there. So it's like every single 2K, every single Madden, every single year,
Starting point is 04:22:42 we come to realize that even though there might be minor adjustments, there's never been that sizable leap to where we're like, this is a completely new and improved game. Time and time again, I leave away with these reviews for ball and gun games saying that is exactly like last year's with minor improvements. So with that being said, click my link through in my bio. Let me know one of my social media is. what do you think about EA Sports FC26 so far have you played the game do you plan on playing
Starting point is 04:23:10 it are you a huge sports gamer a ball gamer and at the end of the day what is your favorite sports franchise in game in the gaming industry
