Starting point is 00:00:00 Shepard. Promise me you'll tell them to subscribe for at free content. Now, ladies and gentlemen, it is time to get into, objectively speaking, the biggest game of July 2026. As not only is it currently notoriously affecting the masses, but ladies and gentlemen, do I have to remind you? I said, do I have to remind you? All right, they get the point. Basically, when it comes to the steam, all-time concurrent rankings, do not forget. forget that Power World ranks at number three, just behind PubG with 3.2 million. Once again, concurrent, mind you on Steam, all-time rankings.
Starting point is 00:00:42 Black Myth, Wukong, at 2.4 million. And of course, you have Power World in 2024 with 2.1 million. Now, you're probably thinking to yourself, why are we talking about a game having a notorious mass effect in the month of July when it's the year of 2026? and it came out January 19, 2024. With that, ladies and gentlemen, is why we're here today. Get your favorite snack. Get your favorite drink.
Starting point is 00:01:13 What is going on? Because I'm about to let you know what is going on as version 1.0 for Power World has officially released July 10th, 2026. So now, 12 days later, analytic dreams video on Spotify to see the video along with the audio. I've never seen this. And of course, I don't know. the next time I'm going to see this because usually Counter Strike 2 and Dota 2
Starting point is 00:01:38 has an iron grip an ironclad grip on the top 2 right? Ladies and gentlemen as of right now once again analytic dreams video on Spotify to see the video along with the audio. As of right now Power World is literally the most played game on Steam
Starting point is 00:01:54 you know what I'm saying? And then I am in the mention of fact that you already know Nintendo Ben hitting on Hey, hold on, man, what the world? Yo. I ain't forgot about that shit. Soldier boy, you can't be... I need to think I forgot.
Starting point is 00:02:11 Nigga, I ain't forgot about none of that shit. But you can't be using language like that. You got on the world. Now, ultimately, all jokes aside, this is exactly how Power World is probably feeling because you already know Nintendo was trying to get them taken off the map. You know what I'm saying? Just look at the state of gaming. Like, what is going on?
Starting point is 00:02:32 Pokemon lawyers were saying, Look at what they are doing to our gameplay loop. And they sued expeditiously, I might add. I know that ain't who I think it is. And safe to say when it comes to the lawsuit, we do have an update. So as of right now, ladies and gentlemen, I kid you not, because of Pokemon, egregiously hating on Powell World, Powerworld developers, as far as pocket pair,
Starting point is 00:02:57 they had to make preventative changes, meaning they have glider item instead of the PAL Mounder. mounted gliding and by late 2025 they narrowed to older versions only and patent's face repeated rejections by Japan patent office twice in 2026 basically they looked at the lawsuit and they said to themselves I just don't like it man man the judge said just don't like that shit man why are you hating on an indie developer you know what I'm saying and of course as far as the damages due to Pokemon suing them it was looking very severe but it ended up being minimal I say minimal because of the amount of that power it has made 30,000 dollars in damages and when it comes to the continuous of this lawsuit is still ongoing but pocket pair did make changes mainly the gliding like I just talked about and the mechanics like no the the glider they changed that and I don't think they changed anything
Starting point is 00:04:03 goes and i believe in certain mods they've changed it back so that you can have pal mounted gliding so another thing i wanted to bring up because you know i just would not be doing my job you know what i'm saying no i just would not be doing my job as a black man if i did not show y'all this in 4k you know what i'm saying like come on now this is the clearest video i've ever seen this is the most HD shit ever you know what i'm saying you know what i'm saying you know what i'm saying no one more time one more time mark what was you saying this is the clearest video i've ever said this is the most HD shit ever this is 4k how did they get you in 4k i know that ain't who i think it is now you probably think it to yourself what am i looking at dreams well i'm glad you ask no i got i'm glad they ask because i got let you know right now
Starting point is 00:04:51 this is a whole human right this is a human that's just chilling now your character with this character whoever this guy is or girl i don't know basically it's playing the game right sees a human throws a ball to capture and guess what now what in the actual that's that's slavery ain't it no i mean somebody got to call it like it is because if i didn't show you all this in 4k y'all would not believe me this is the clearest video i've ever say this is the most 8d shit ever this is 4k how did they get you in 4k so literally in power you can capture humans I'm trying to human
Starting point is 00:05:29 See, and that's what this person is saying You know what That's just a shame I kid you not I just don't Somebody had to say it I just don't like that shit Because I was thinking to myself
Starting point is 00:05:39 Why in the world Do they have that mechanic in the game And apparently it's inefficient Like there's no reason To actually capture humans But it's still in the game So why not take it out Because the mechanic
Starting point is 00:05:49 I kid you not It still remains in the game It makes me feel like y'all You guys You know what I'm saying It's almost like y'all trying to go back into the old days. All right, my fault.
Starting point is 00:05:59 I'm just keeping it anymore than 92. So anyways, with that being said, this game obviously has been called Pokemon with guns. I think it's hyperbolic to say that, especially when the lawsuit landed the way it did, as far as it being ongoing with minimal damages. And of course, the Japan Patent Office rejecting this, right?
Starting point is 00:06:22 Repeated rejections, twice in 2026. And of course, Because of this, I believe that Pokemon is not only hating, but for the first time in a long time, Nintendo's position via the lawsuit was called very weak due to the, uh, from the judge, right? And I think that's a humongous dove for Power World. So once again, getting back into the game that's notoriously affecting the masses and is currently the most play game on Steam. And of course, when it comes to Power World specifically, I had to bring up the numbers
Starting point is 00:06:56 because this is just insane. I mean, this is actually insane. The first time I've ever seen in my, you know, 26 years going on 80, I believe this is the first time. And in the first, it's going to be a long time before we see something like this again. Power World is not only number one, but it's 500,000 people concurrently playing, which is number one by far, right? 24-hour peak of 778,000.
Starting point is 00:07:22 But then you come to realize, remember why I started off the segment with? 2.1 million all-time peak 2.5 years ago, which showcases that not only is Power World here to say, but it may end up being the first game ever to grace the cover. Because of course over here at notorious mass effect, we covered the gaming and music IPs that notoriously affect the masses. This, no, last month, as far as June, it was just the gaming industry as a whole. That's why you see this image right here as far as covering the gaming portion. And of course, the Olivia Rodriguez portion is because she put up the second biggest
Starting point is 00:07:53 first week sales in the music industry for the year of 2026. When it comes to this hoarsely affecting the masses, Power World will be the first game, in my opinion, to grace the music cover in different years, which is insane. Because you had the early access, all the lawsuits in the world from Pokemon hating on you. We thought Power was over. And of course, via Power World 1.0, it made a magnificent comeback.
Starting point is 00:08:22 You know what I'm saying? It's just a Mac. Come on, Soulja Boy. Come on, come on, man. I'm not trying to... I'm not trying to... I'm just trying to do my... I'm just trying to do my...
Starting point is 00:08:36 I ain't forgot about that shit. Okay. All right, niggas think I forgot. Nick, I ain't forgot about none of that shit. Come back with a chip on my fucking shoulder, nigga. All right, we just got to cut Soja Boy out, man. This is crazy. You know, I'm just trying to cover Power World.
Starting point is 00:08:50 Now, anyways, of course, we're going to get into the sales and review roundup and putting a misrespect on pocket pair's name because not only do they have one of the most successful games of all time but the longevity seemingly is not a question mark anymore as 1.0 not only came out the gate swinging with 855 000 mind you this is post launch of 1.0 that happened july um july 10th 2026 so after that date it put up a 155 000 the highest widely reported is far as peak launch weekend right and then of course when you look at the other platforms because it's currently available on steam Microsoft store mac i don't know why it has those label uh PS5 Xbox 1 and Xbox series x you know sadly no Nintendo I had to say so but that means that you
Starting point is 00:09:44 made me thinking to yourself well where are they currently on the console charts so obviously steam is number one. I just showed you that. When it comes to Xbox, it's currently the second most play game on Xbox via the Game Pass. It is on the Game Pass. So shout out to Xbox for that. Interestingly enough, it is not on the top 10 for PlayStation, which is very interesting because, of course, I do see a lot of sports and ball games on here, you know, a lot of ball and gun games on here, which, you know, it just makes me believe that even though PlayStation has majority of the console consumers, they're not being in the allegation. of only being ball and gun gamers.
Starting point is 00:10:22 I mean, doesn't Power World have a ball and the gun in it? I mean, I guess they just, you know, whatever. So anyways, Xbox and Steam is where Power World is currently performing the best, specifically Steam as we just went over the numbers. So when you look at the drastic increase in concurrent player count for Power World,
Starting point is 00:10:43 you may be thinking to yourself. Why is that? And it's because 1.0 for Power World just launched July 10th. So now when you look at it going from roughly 35,000 to around 700,000 after the launch, you come to realize that people counted out Power. We're not going to play the Soldier Boy Drop again. People counted out Powerl, and they came back not only to reclaim their throne,
Starting point is 00:11:05 but to let you know that it was not a fluke, that they had the third highest, all-time concurrent rankings as far as Steam with 2.1 million, right? So anyways, continuing from that. this game is $29 and the price has remained unchanged. Now, clap it up, you know. I'm not going to lie to you. If it was Rockstar and they had, if Rockstar was pocketpeer and developed Power World,
Starting point is 00:11:34 boy, y'all wouldn't even seen a physical copy for Power. Y'all wouldn't even see a price of $299 for a game that's currently notoriously affecting the masses like this. They would have messed around and took, half of the power world's out and put it behind a $100 edition. Now, I mean, somebody had to say it. You know what I'm saying? Rockstar out here being money hungry for a company that takes 13 year breaks
Starting point is 00:11:57 looking like side seven. You know what I'm saying? Is it okay? I got my dope on me? So anyways, pocket pair is practicing some very pro-consumer strategies because they could easily raise the price, but they're not, right? 2999. And I didn't even get into how long this game could take you to be because it's one of those
Starting point is 00:12:17 type of games, you have to look at it in the Pokemon sense, not because of the gameplay loop, just because of the limitless amount of creation you can have in it. So to put in layman's terms, if you really wanted a number on it, reportedly, the main story takes you around 40 to 50 hours to beat. The main story plus side content takes you around 73 to 90 hours to complete. I kid you not. And in completion is, it will take you 90 to 100 hours. You basically see where I'm going.
Starting point is 00:12:46 Basically, if that's the floor for how much time it takes to be the main story, the main plus side content, or to be a completionist, I believe the explorative options is limitless. So it's not only that this game just re-released, but the amount of content you get for $299. Makes me believe that pocket pair, just like Capcom may be co-NvPs for the year of 2026. Now, before y'all kill me, I think in the gaming industry, predatory practices is beyond rampant. I mean, there's a reason why there was no game that covered the game slot for notorious mass effect episode 162. It's because the gaming industry is in such shambles on every single company using predatory tactics that whenever a Capcom comes around, whenever a pocket pair comes around and notoriously affects the masses while being pro-consulting. consumer, you just know that if Rockstar had Resident Evil Requiem, I'm just saying, that multi-player would have been at least $90, you know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 00:13:51 So anyways, with that being said, the main thing I was wanting to talk about, especially because you have a lot to get into it, ladies and gentlemen, that wasn't even the tip of the iceberg. This game is currently putting up unfathomable numbers. And when you look at Power World 1.0, you're probably saying to yourself, But what's new about it? Well, I'm glad you asked. As when it comes to the biggest difference between Powell World 1.0 that just came out July 10, 2026 and the early access version that came out January 19, 2024, the main difference is 72 new pals.
Starting point is 00:14:27 So 47 new plus 25 variants. So now the total roster is a whopping 287. And then that's not it. As there are new regions as far as the sun reach floating sky islands and World Tree, which the major endgame slash story hub hopefully it's not spoiler and it is double the exploreable area right and then of course another main change from the early access to power world 1.0 is the level cap so now it's been raised from 65 to 80 with expanded ancient tech tree and new unlocks and of course to keep going because there's more ladies and gentlemen they didn't just take a long time to put out 1.0 for no
Starting point is 00:15:07 reason. Awakening and mutation, meaning there's new systems for strengthening pals as far as radiant gems with hidden potential mutated eggs for higher stats slash passives. And of course, you have reworked progression and combat base building overhaul. And what I mean by that is offshore slash water bases expanded options and better management. And of course, the trend transversial due to the lawsuit, a new wing pack that is a gear slot glider slash flight which frees the power slots and it's it's improved gliding slash flying now of course if you still want to glide on a pow world no not power on a pal i believe it is possible via the mods this game is the most popular on steam for a reason i believe people reverted what pocket pair had to do legally and made it to where you
Starting point is 00:16:00 could glide on pals and i don't think you'll get banned from that but hey, you know, I do it at your own risk, you know what I'm saying? Don't tell pocket pair when you get banned that dreams told you could do that. You know what I'm saying? Don't, don't sit down me. So I believe there are popular mods for Power World on Steam that you can implement the riding and gliding with PALS again. So that is the main thing when it comes to the difference between Power World 1.0 and the early axis. Of course, when it comes to the carry, when it comes to people who've been playing the early axis, it carries over.
Starting point is 00:16:31 So that's a good thing to keep in mind. You're not just going to have to completely start over with Power World 1.0 versus the Powered Early Axis. Now, we have to get into another notoriously mass affecting part about Powerl. PCG. Y'all are going crazy right now. Shout out to Kassanat. I know y'all saying this is a random shoutout, right?
Starting point is 00:17:00 But there was a particular wave of TCG going on. and the Streamer U campus. And I think Valcara and some other artists participated in it. Basically, a lot of car packs that made them on the own streams outside of Streaming University, get back into buying cars, you know, basically trying to flip them, right? When I looked at it in totality, I was like, oh, this is pretty cool, only to find out, through my research of Power World having his own TCG game, that the TCG community, and I'm a LARPR, so I don't know.
Starting point is 00:17:35 don't know too much about it, right? But through my research, I came to realize the global TCG market, as far as estimates in 2025 alone, is $8.4 billion. But that's not it, ladies and gentlemen. As far as projected analytics for 2035, I know that may be a long time for some of y'all, but basically the reason why I'm giving you the projections is because it's set to rise to 16.9 billion dollars in 2020, 2035. Basically, I'm letting y'all know that not only has TCG seemingly made a comeback, once again, I'm a LARPERS, so maybe it's always been this magnificent or impactful in the gaming industry. But I don't cover, but now I do cover a lot of card games. I cover Blotro.
Starting point is 00:18:28 I think I cover some other car game. And of course, technically, Midnight Suns is a card game. Now, technically, I know I'm a Marvel nerd, but there's cars in it, and it's a game. All right, anyways. So basically, with TCG having such a mammoth amount of revenue coming in, and the amount of people that love the Pokemon cards aspect as far as flipping them, as far as that's what dominates the TCG, Pokemon by far. Target slash Walmart each is $1 billion in annual card revenue.
Starting point is 00:18:58 Of course, scalping is rampant. Some would accuse GameStop of scalping, but that's a whole other conversation. You know what I'm saying? Ain't no shame in my game. You know what I snitch in the heartbeat. You know what I feel me? Y'all ain't got to do all that. Yeah, I ain't got to do all that.
Starting point is 00:19:15 But you know, rate this five stars for a law-abiding citizen. You know what I'm saying? So when it comes to TCG and the overall benefits, it can add to your particular game. Just know that industry as a whole is not running dry anytime soon. And actually, there's a reason why I read off and listed out the analytics. It's set to grow. in revenue to $16.9 billion in 2035.
Starting point is 00:19:40 Now, the reason why I bring that up is because Power World, they specifically have a card game coming out soon. It's set to launch July 30th, 2026, and it features PALs with unique ability, structures, and resource mechanics. Now, I already know that Nintendo's just looking at their phone, looking at their screen, laptop, desktop, desktop, whatever, just saying to themselves, I just don't like it. You know what I'm saying? I just don't like that shit. they probably think pocket pair trying to take their whole wave, and technically, they're doing a phenomenal job.
Starting point is 00:20:12 Now, of course, I would never say Power World is going to overtake Pokemon, but, you know, the potential is there. So anyways, July 30th, 2026, be on a lookout for that, as I believe if you, and this is not financial advice, but if you get on it early, as far as Power World TCG, who knows, 10, 20 years from now, you may be thanking me, you know what I'm saying? All right, so with that being said, there's already been
Starting point is 00:20:34 3.5 plus million booster packs sold through pre-orders before launch. What in the actual what many retailers selling out? Seems like I'm a little you know technically we're like eight days early
Starting point is 00:20:49 before the official card game officially launches. But as far as the pre-order, y'all better get on it expeditiously. You know what I'm saying? Y'all better get... But then you know what I'm saying? I was like, damn, look at me.
Starting point is 00:20:57 Anyways. So the second expansion is Legends Awakened and that releases October 30 of 2026. So if you are too late to the actual launch, the second expansion is happening October 30 of 2026. It is titled Legends Awakening. Yeah, Awaken. So now that we got into the sales and basically broke down the 2.5 year timeline from the early access to version 1.0 showcasing what version 1.0 is doing from July 10th into like current day, I think it's only fair that we get through.
Starting point is 00:21:33 to the gameplay loop because ladies and gentlemen if you don't know basically with power world if you're completely new to the power world sentiment and the power world like environment you capture creatures called pals I know what you're saying hey man don't snitch you know what I'm saying don't y'all don't y'all take this clip and send it to Nintendo but basically you capture creatures right they're called pals and you use pal spheres after weakening them I know what you're saying I know what you're saying but hey no snitching They're doing pretty good when it comes to lawsuits via Nintendo. So let's keep it like that.
Starting point is 00:22:07 So you use Poked, I mean, you use Pau spheres after weakening them. And then you fight alongside Pals using guns and melee weapons, which is where the whole joke about Pokemon, what guns came from. So with that being said, you build automated bases where Pals perform jobs like mining, farming, smelting, crafting, and resource gathering. Now, I believe this is a little different for Pokemon, but of course we do have Poco pokaia ladies and gentlemen and i believe poco pia is still let me see uh i don't know if i can find down here poco pia i think is still one of the biggest games on here on nintendo let me see yeah okay
Starting point is 00:22:46 so uh pocopia is currently the 13th most play game on nintendo uh one million as far as in total copies so just shows you how big that game is in general but then of course i think it was something not that that's basically so when it comes to pukyman trying to get ahead of what power world like basically innovated on because that's the whole innovative factor in my opinion power the whole mining farming smelting crafting resource gathering i think they did the whole minecraft Pokemon first like the mashup before pokopia came out and that's why i believe pocoea is so successful right now because they was finally they was finally enlightened on how they could innovate the formula right and shout out to power for that anyway so in my opinion power did it first so that's essentially what you're doing
Starting point is 00:23:33 That's essentially the gameplay loop. There's a lot of maps to discover, a lot of land to, you know, to embark on with your pals. And when it comes to crossplay, that is support it, and then of course you have the multi-player aspect up to four players and there's dedicated servers for 32 plus players, right? So if you want to play with your friends, you can have a blast. And with crossplay being available and it being up to four players with 32 plus players, dedicated server for players, I think that's a tremendous W. Because of course, if you would have put out power 1.0 and didn't have the ability to have your own private service similar to like Minecraft, things of that nature, I don't know if it
Starting point is 00:24:17 would have grew to this type of popularity because I think people really enjoy building, crafting their own world, and inviting their friends into that specific private server or doing it together, right? And having no inkling of others destroying. your base just for no reason. So that's why I think the private servers is fantastic. So another thing I was going to get into is when it comes to the pals, of course, you know, getting into the elemental types. There's element types, does combat abilities, work suitabilities, and work levels up to 10. And then I think some could also compare that to Pokemon, but hey, don't snitch. I said don't snitch. You're trying to support any
Starting point is 00:25:02 developers out there. You know what I'm sorry? So that's enough for the gameplay loop. Now that we broke down the gameplay loop, broke down the sales, let's get into the review roundup. As of course, the review roundup is primarily focusing on
Starting point is 00:25:18 the 1.0 release. And of course, with it fully being out now, the reviews are just through the roof. Everybody's giving it glowing reviews. And let's start with well, I don't even know what it. Okay, I don't want to disrespect any conglomerate, but I don't know who they are.
Starting point is 00:25:34 So in general, it's overwhelmingly positive, right? I didn't want to read out some of these. I guess I may start with some of these sites that I don't know too much about. But anyways, adrenaline gave it 100 out of 100. What, in the actual saying, quote, Power World DeLivers, I'm tripping. Powerl delivers a dynamic and profound experience. Exceeding expectations beyond its Pokemon with guns label, despite minor imperfections like invisible map steps and an abundance of mechanics.
Starting point is 00:26:10 The game's depth in pocket pairs dedicated support to warrant a perfect score. The game's genius lies in its complex power mechanics, passive abilities and breeding systems providing immense strategic freedom and replayability, with hundreds of hours of content, and continuous discovery, Power World offers a uniquely engaging and rewarding journey. And then of course, ladies and gentlemen, we have Gaming Boat,
Starting point is 00:26:44 giving this game a 90 out of 100, saying, quote, Power World is a fantastic game, and its journey from early access to 1.0 deserves to be studied. Now, that's what I'm talking about right there, you know what I'm saying? Putting in a misrespect on Pocket Pairs name.
Starting point is 00:27:00 All, let's get back into the quote. Pocket pair has maintained a steady stream of meaningful updates while consistently, while consistently taking player feedback into account. Of course, the fact that the game is genuinely fun to play helps considerably. And of course, IGN, let me see, IGN, what, I don't even know I pronounce it, is IGN from somewhere else? Anyways, let's get something else. Okay, Scoop for games, gave it a 10 out of 10, no cap. They said, quote, Power World 1.0 is the definition. I'm tripping.
Starting point is 00:27:42 Powered 1.0 is the definitive version of the game. Combining addictive, creature collecting deep survival mechanics and polished gameplay into an astounding experience. With major improvements across combat exploration, base building, and performance, it easily earns a 10 out of 10. and stands amongst the best survival games available today. Give them some praise. Give them some praise.
Starting point is 00:28:12 Give them some praise. I just know that Nintendo thought they would finish when they sent those plethora of lawsuits. You know what I'm saying? All right, come on. Social boy, I'm just trying to... But they ain't even say that, bro. All right, man, whatever.
Starting point is 00:28:33 Shout to Power, man. You know what I'm saying? Just look at the state of gaming. Like, what is going on? And of course, when it comes to Powero and the continuation of their success, I would be very keen on noticing how long it stays at number one.
Starting point is 00:28:52 Once again, I've never seen Counter Strike 2 displaced them from number one. Because even when we cover Task Bar Hero, which was going to be the cover of the game slot for episode 1, 62, but of course the gaming industry decided to implement all type of anti-consumer. practices, right? So Taskbar Heroes, they had the number two slide and they outperform Dota 2.
Starting point is 00:29:11 Currently, CounterStrike 2 and Dota 2 is outperforming Taskbar Heroes and PubG, interestingly enough. But anyways, Counterstrike 2, Dota 2, they're usually 1 and 2 on Steam. That is why what Power World is doing as far as out-pacing Counter-Strike 2, even with Task Bar Hero last month, we never saw that. It was always outpacing Dota 2 at his best. but with Powerl being number one and just seeing that number, I think there's going to be a long time in gaming history until we see that again
Starting point is 00:29:45 because if you don't know, Counterstrike 2 is definitely going to overtake that number one slide at some point. But as of right now, it even having that number one slot in Steam is a mammoth of an accomplishment. I don't know that last time Counterstrike 2 actually was outpaced on Steam for number one.
Starting point is 00:30:00 Actually, let's look at it right now. Let's see. counter. It was a number one. Let's see, besides Power. Because they're going to be like Power. I'm like, nope, I'm covering it right now. Let me see.
Starting point is 00:30:24 Okay, so basically, I don't know the last time we've seen this. That's what I'm looking at up right now. Of course, you've seen Power World, but as far as before Power World, I believe August, 24, oh, yeah, with Black Myth Wu Kong. Okay, that makes sense. And once again, if you don't know, that was the only game outside. side of PubG to beat out Power World as far as concurrent ranking. So once again,
Starting point is 00:30:47 PubG was number one as far as all-time Steam concurrent with $3.2 million. And not to be that guy, but PUBG is still the fourth-most play game in the world. I mean, fourth-most play game on Steam. So I think these all-time concurrent rankings, they don't tell the whole story, but they basically tell you which game is going to be around for the long haul. Black Myth Wu-Kong is the only game outside of Power World,
Starting point is 00:31:08 well, the last game outside of Power World to outpace, counter strike two and that happened August 2024 and with that specific game it is currently at the number two slide as far as the all time steam concurrent rankings with 2.4 million and of course with Power World Early Access it was 2.1 million
Starting point is 00:31:26 which slides into the third all time concurrent rankings as far as steam but as of right now it's the first time in a while last time was August 20th 2024 it took a whole two years for another game to outpace Counter Strike 2
Starting point is 00:31:43 as far as the number one most play game on the Steam platform. And that's why I wanted to look it up because that's a magnificent and a very significant accomplishment. So as you can tell, we put a minstrespect on Power World's name and I believe this is probably the biggest notorious Mass Effect we've ever seen in the year of 2026.
Starting point is 00:32:03 All the other games I've covered every single month in the year of 2026 doesn't even compare to what Power World is doing right now. and that just showcases perseverance and longevity because of course Powero was definitely trying to get them out the pain you already know
Starting point is 00:32:22 all right you know all right man alright man I ain't forgot about that shit all right all right I think I forgot just look at the state of gaming so I'm back with a chip on my fucking shoulder
Starting point is 00:32:35 nigger once again man shout out to power world so with that being said click my link to you in my bio to follow me on my social media and of course if you over at Spotify let me know what is your favorite enjoyment factor when it comes to Power World what do you like doing specifically that makes you enjoy the game the most and why Shepherd promise me you'll tell them to subscribe for free content ladies and gentlemen we are about to get into the number one game currently on the
Starting point is 00:33:04 Famitsu charts and that's all you need to know because some people would say that the hiatus was a great All right, my fault. Y'all don't even know what I'm talking about. So ladies and gentlemen, for this specific segment, we're getting into Rhythm Heaven, Groove. And of course, over here at Notorious Mass Effect,
Starting point is 00:33:27 getting into the gaming and music IPs that notoriously affect the masses, safe to say, Rhythm Heaven Groove is currently the number one most play game on the Famitsu charts. But of course, that's not it. As when you look at Rhythm Groove, as far as the iPod, safe to say it's beyond successful. This IP has generated a mammoth amount of revenue as far as dollars.
Starting point is 00:33:54 And over time, it's became one of Nintendo's staples as far as many games. Now, what do I mean by that? Basically, it went again to the gameplay loop in a second. But of course, currently with Rhythm Heaven Groove, as number one on the Famitsu charts, had a whopping 393,000 out the gate as far as June. 29th of July 5th, 2026. And it became
Starting point is 00:34:19 objectively speaking the best launch in rhythm heaven history. Selling more than double previous series debuts. Now, of course, when you look at it in totality, it currently just passed half a million. So shout
Starting point is 00:34:35 out to them for that. Don't forget that this game officially came out July 2nd, 26. So now that is already past half a million. And currently as far as this particular week is still at number one selling 126,000 copies as far as this particular week from July 6 to July 12th now the main thing well not this week my fault that was the Fimitsu chart period so it's still number one objectively speaking so the main thing
Starting point is 00:35:03 I was going to get at is that when it comes to the actual IP of rhythm heaven groove they've had a plethora of titles right and combined with the we plus 3d 3d S lifetime total it has 750,000 and of course it's one of the biggest hits in general as far as rhythm heaven groove out of the all the releases i don't know i don't know how many games in general um oh it's five because i think this is the fifth main entry so with this being the fifth main entry all the other four they did solid but of course this one is currently putting bta on all the other rhythm heaven groove uh sales out there so getting into the long hiatus part because the last Rhythm Heaven game was in 2015. So it was 15 plus years
Starting point is 00:35:53 since the full original. And basically, it's because people were not buying the actual game. Shepard. Sad day in history. Just look at the state of gaming. Like, what is going on? And of course, I did talk about how it has five titles in the mainline series. But of course, the sales are dwindling to a point where the fans are not as incaptivated by the gameplay loop. And then of course, not even to mention that the key collaborator, Sunku had laryngeal cancer as far as in 2014 and vocal cord removal in 2015, basically reducing his activity. So, of course, that played a factor into the 15-plus-year hiatus.
Starting point is 00:36:38 But of course, when you look at, I say 15 years, Like, I'm talking about the original. Obviously, it's been 11 years since Megamix. But when you look at the overall hiatus, of course, Sunku's health had a part to play in that. But of course, when it comes to Nintendo, they wanted to keep the door open per the director, Yoshio Sakamoto in 2017, but prioritize other titles until, of course, fan demand got to a point where a sequel, or not sequel, another installment was plausible. So now we have rhythm, heaven, groove. the fifth mainline entry for Nintendo's Rhythm Series, and boy, did the connoisseur show out.
Starting point is 00:37:19 As is, it was first, so when you come to the original Heaven series, of course it was 11 years ago, followed by Rhythm Heaven Megamix, and released as part of the franchise's 20th anniversary celebration as far as Rhythm Heaven groove of today, the one that was released this month. But when you look at it, as far as the game, Gameplay loop is a classic rhythm gameplay.
Starting point is 00:37:45 Basically, timing button presses primarily with A plus occasionally B and D pad inputs, heavy emphasis on listening to music and audio cues rather than visual prompts. That's why you may get confused on the multiple games popping up throughout my coverage of this game because analytic dreams video on Spotify to see the video along with the audio because I'm currently showing gameplay. But of course, all the different mini games that you're seeing on the screen, they follow the classic rhythm gameplay feature as far as time and button presses primarily due to music and audio cues rather than the visual prompts. So it's more humorous, you know, fast-paced rhythm challenges and very interesting scenarios, as you can see right now.
Starting point is 00:38:29 80 plus brand new rhythm mini games and this rhythm having groove, which is fantastic, right? but then of course you have stages that contain roughly four many games followed by a remix and combining mechanics from previous games and in a high rankings amazing slash superb medals unlocked bonus content so you probably be thinking to you so as a nine to five worker how long would this game take me well i'm glad you ask you guys as the main story will take you around five and a half to six hours the main story plus extras will take you around 11 to 12 hours and of course completion is it will take you from 20 to 24 hours now when it comes to the price point i do not believe i pulled up the actual price so i want to see how much this game
Starting point is 00:39:19 actually is because i wouldn't think it's too much right rhythm heaven grew but you never know when nintendo you know what i'm saying so this game is $40 that's not too bad and it does have a physical version you know shout out shout out to nintendo um probably putting the code in a box like Rockstar. I mean, somebody had to say it. So anyways, when it comes to the $40 price tag, that's not too egregious for the gameplay loop that you're getting. Of course, for the Nintendo connoisseurs out there, you can't really be a chooser because, of course, there's not a lot of games on a Nintendo platform that's notoriously affecting the masses because of the lack of impact compared to console and PC games. Now, I'm just, you know, objectively speaking, if there was
Starting point is 00:40:07 one console you could skip out on is definitely the switch, right? So that is a harsh reality for Nintendo connoisseurs primarily, but of course that's the reality we live in. But when they do have a notorious mass affecting game, like Rhythm Having Groove, we're here to cover and break down the review and sales roundup. So getting back into that, the gameplay loop as far as the multi-player aspect,
Starting point is 00:40:31 as 30-plus local motop player mini-games supports up to four players using joycons there's no online multi-player what in the actual you guys see that's the problem now as far as a quirky game like this and all type of mechanics that leads into all type of multiplayer enjoyment why in the world would they have no online multiplayer shepherd just look at the state of gaming is that not a problem what is going on like what is going on to the point where are we back in the 2000s not because you know local multiplayer i do not have any type of animosity but in the year of twenty 26 if you have a game that begs for multi-player online aspect why not have it in the game you guys see that's the problem so anyways there's no online multiplayer that is a big uh con
Starting point is 00:41:24 in my opinion but anyways it does have multiplayer technically it's just local so you all have to be in the same place, same console, same TV. Okay, they get the point. So basically, when it comes to other modes in the game, you have this mode called beat spell. So that is the unlockable RPG-inspired campaign. Players become a rhythm-mage casting spells through timed button combinations, and it includes story chapters, boss battles, increasing difficulty, and rhythm-based combat mechanics.
Starting point is 00:41:56 Now, at first glance, people who are not aware of this series, is probably saying to themselves, why would I pay $40 for a musical simulator? Like, it doesn't seem that captivating, right? But when you look at the fans, as far as the masses, the people who actually played this game as far as all the Vive games in the entry and what they have to say about it, apparently,
Starting point is 00:42:21 when it comes to the simplistic controls, the amount of fun you can have as far as the infectious sunk-cool soundtrack, which you talked about earlier, and of course the way that you can play it with your friends locally, I think they call it a very addictive, party-friendly game. And when you look at it from that aspect, there's a lot of different games where you could probably look at it and say,
Starting point is 00:42:45 why would I spend $40 on this? Until you realize the party aspect as far as games like Beat Sabre, of course, we sports, I'm not comparing this to wesports, so I'm just talking about party-centric type games that people enjoy. that makes you accept a price tag a little more than you otherwise would if you didn't know that so with that being said another thing i want to get into is that this game is only on the nintendo switch in the switch two you guys see that's the problem now i know that nintendo has to have
Starting point is 00:43:18 some type of exclusive to make people want to purchase their hardware but when it comes to party games i do believe it should be multi-platform nintendo is already notorious for having certain flagships under their umbrellas such as a Mario Zelda, etc. But when it comes to this particular game, it is treated with that same level of prestige. And I don't know if it actually deserves it based on the sales, right? This latest rhythm heaven groove blew all the other rhythm having grooves games out of the water. I mean, it's doing fantastic on the charts. But when it comes to the entire mainline entry, I think the.
Starting point is 00:43:59 exclusivity hurt the franchise and that is part of the reason why it may have went on that 11 year hiatus so but that being said the other thing i was going to get into aside from this game being on the switch two and the switch one i think when it comes to the biggest complaint from the masses not i think i looked this up so based on my research the masses complain that there's noticeable input slash delay slash display lag while playing docked on many televisions. And they say calibration options exist but aren't perfect. Now, this reminds me of something that I have to switch to another platform. As I kid you not, for the life of me, I never realize why when you're using a recording platform
Starting point is 00:44:45 as far as music, there was a calibration setting. I was like, isn't this the main thing that they should have automated? it like you literally have to go in on band lab if the voice is offset from the beat you have to go to the setting right it's like the tuner settings like the latency or whatever and usually for me because i'm always using headphones i have to put my headphones around my mic not this mic but another one i put my headphones around the mic turn the sound up and let it calibrate to the to the beat i'm like shouldn't just be an automated process i don't know why but that just seems so archaic to me i kid you not so maybe it's just because i'm using band lab
Starting point is 00:45:22 Y'all can let me know if there's other platforms out there that automatically calibrates the latency as far as the tuner and the beat in the voice. But basically, a lot of people for this specific game says that's a problem as well. But it seems like they do have that calibration option, but it isn't perfect. Now, a lot of the masses who played this game said the best experience is handheld because once again, the input lag apparently from playing on a docked on television. A lot of people say the headphones are recommended for accurate timing. and that makes sense it's a music game and when you look at the bugs
Starting point is 00:45:58 there's really no game breaking bugs and it's very minuscule if any as far as bugs so it's very good on that aspect and when you look at the community reception is extremely positive which brings me into my next point as when you look
Starting point is 00:46:14 at the review roundups for this particular game not only has it been on the number one slot in the Femitsu charts for like almost a month. But when you look at the review roundups, IGN gave this a 9 out of 10 saying, quote, Rhythm Heaven Groove is a superb sequel that expertly capitalizes on the captivating
Starting point is 00:46:36 energy of his excellent music across a series of joyfully animated mini games. The campaign is well balanced and stuffed with genre shifting earworms. You won't forget fast. Now, what type of description? you guys hey man it teaches on but anyways game informer gave it 8.25 out of 10 now what that's
Starting point is 00:47:00 that's extra in my opinion but that's whatever saying quote rhythm heaven heaven groove it's not my favorite in the franchise but it makes me just as happy proud anxious and angry as all the
Starting point is 00:47:13 previous games in the series Groove's collection is great I genuinely think I genuinely don't think there is a single game among its more than a hundred single and multiplayer games that I actively dislike. But there also weren't any I immediately flagged as new all-time favorites. So that's somebody who obviously is a long-time connoisseur or the franchise.
Starting point is 00:47:37 So now I will get into Nintendo Life, but I feel like they may be a little biased, right? So we're not going to get into them. GameSpot. GameSpot gave this game an 8 out of 10 saying, quote, Rhythm Heaven Groove is an infectious blend of unapologetic. weirdness and toe-tapping rhythm gameplay in a heck of a party game to boot. Unapologetic weirdness infuses all of the
Starting point is 00:48:00 mini-games. Rhythm gameplay hits with percussive force that feels great. Remix sections are like a magic trick. And at last but definitely not least, the gamer gave it a four out of five saying, quote, is wonderful how much rhythm heaven groove can do with just as few simple button presses.
Starting point is 00:48:21 having played every single title in the series, that boy flexing, you know what I'm saying? Goodness gracious. Shout to the gamer, boy. That man really loves his franchise. Having played every single title in the series and mastered some of his hardest challenges, that boy is sweat.
Starting point is 00:48:40 Groove feels like the perfect entry for newcomers who want to see what the fuss is all about. You know what I'm saying? What is going on? It's very out of the blue that you get a rhythm game like this, very much a party game, and it stays on the top of the charts for quite some time. Because I first seen it, I was like, you know what?
Starting point is 00:49:03 That's a pretty good first week sales. You know, 300 and some thousand. I mean, that's a lot, right? Let's see where it's at a month from now. Ladies and gentlemen, we're almost a month from now, and it's still the number one most play game on the Fimisu charts, more specifically than Nintendo charts. So the main thing.
Starting point is 00:49:21 you need to know is that this is the first original rhythm heaven game in more than a decade every mini game is completely new no remakes or ports with them taking 11 years to make this game that makes sense sunku returned to compose the music despite previous health challenges so shout out to a healthy recovery beat spell of course introduces RPG progression to the series for the first time so i didn't know that a beat spell is the first time mode and achieved the largest japan Japanese launch and franchise history. Shout out to longevity in the gaming industry. So with that being said, click my link to share my bio to follow me on my social
Starting point is 00:50:04 medias. And of course, if you're on Spotify, and if you've played Rhythm Heaven Groove, let me know what is your favorite part about the game and why. Shepard, promise me you'll tell them to subscribe for free content. Now, ladies and gentlemen, before we get into one of the hottest. mobile games in the year of 2026. Before we do that. Just look at the state of gaming.
Starting point is 00:50:29 You know what I'm saying? What is going on? And just like Lear said, we have to look at the state of gaming because you guys, you guys. How in the world is it that mobile games keep facing this conundrum time and time again? As King shot amongst a plethora of mobile games consistently have fake. Now, I know. I know that ain't who I think it is.
Starting point is 00:50:55 Developers, how many times do we have to tell you that if your mobile game's already successful, what is the need for the fake ads? You know what I'm saying? Just look at the state of gaming. Like, what is going on? Because if you don't know, specifically what the mobile game king shot, because over here at notorious mass effect, of course, again, to the game, the gaming and music IPs that notoriously affect the masses. But when looking at mobile games specifically, they keep facing.
Starting point is 00:51:22 this fake ads conundrum and with Kingshot already being successful is very perplexing to a lot of people. So let me break it down. Basically, the whole fake ads scenario or fiasco is basically ads showing tower defense or simple interaction puzzles often with fake streamers slash chat. Now, of course, this is allegedly, I'm not trying to get sued. I'm just letting y'all know what the scenario is. But the game, Kingshot, is an indie meet. meet uh why i don't know why i but you that mid medieval four x survival strategy title with base building resource management heroes alliances and pvp now the biggest thing with that is king shot is immensely successful which you're going to get into in a second analytic dreams video on spot to see the
Starting point is 00:52:13 video along with the audio because i'm currently showcasing what the gameplay loop looks like for king shot the mobile game now of course users due to these fake ads, they say that it's a bait and switch and some ads allegedly reuse assets from other games like Thronefall. And they say that this is a common industry practice for installs. Now, that gets into the analytical side of why these fake ads keep happening time and time again in the mobile gaming industry. As when you look at the fake slash misleading advertisement, for mobile games, it drives higher click through and lower costs per install. And basically they test the engaging mechanics as far as pin pulling rescue puzzles that convert better than honest gameplay footage.
Starting point is 00:53:02 And for that, I mean, somebody should be ashamed of themselves. You got you know what I'm saying? It's not enough that you had under a little under 500 million in revenue in the span of 11 months. You know what I'm saying? That wasn't enough. literally faster than Whiteout Survival's path to the same milestone.
Starting point is 00:53:25 But just like White Out Survival, these misleading advertisements is simply used to save money and generate more engagement to your mobile game. But why not just be honest in the first place
Starting point is 00:53:38 if you guys... You guys. If your game is already successful, you know what I'm saying? So that is a specific reason on why they use misleading advertisement. And of course, when you look at the rest of this fiasco, basically, if you get enough players, especially whales, game developers love whales as far as especially live
Starting point is 00:54:03 service games. They love whales, which is basically people who spend way more than the average consumer. Those are called whales, right? So they love getting whales and usually the misleading ads helped them engage those people to play their action. actual mobile game, right? And because of the competitive field, mobile games are doing any and everything to stand out amongst the pack. I mean, the gaming industry as a whole is supremely a word. It's supremely competitive compared to the olden days when they were just playing with Tetris in, um, in a solitaire. Now, somebody, I mean, somebody had to say, you know, our great-grandpas, it was out there playing with the actual card games instead of having the
Starting point is 00:54:49 capabilities of fighting Greek gods as cradles, right? They didn't have that type of technology back then. So anyways, what that being said, even though the misleading advertisements is a big deal for a King's Shot mobile game, we're still going to get into the sales and review roundup because this game is immensely successful.
Starting point is 00:55:08 Like I just said, over, well, a little under 500 million within roughly 11 months and around 330 million during 2025. So when you look at that, Basically, it's one of the top revenue drivers in the mobile gaming community. And of course, when you look at it specifically, not only did it jump out the gate with tremendous numbers, but also when you look at the actual consecutive months and the way that it's been peaking, it peaked January 30 of 2026 when it made $4.6 million. You may be saying to yourself, there's a lot of games out there that makes millions of dollars. what, guess what? Kingshot mobile game earned that in one day. Like what in the actual? So, of course, that was a huge milestone, right? And when it comes to revenue by country, United States accounts for
Starting point is 00:56:04 43 percent, South Korea accounts for 8 percent, and Japan accounts for 7 percent. And the U.S. of course, remains King's largest and most profitable market. Now, with that being considered, let's get into the developers as century games info founded in 2010 as diane diane interactive hopefully i'm saying that right singapore based century games pTE l tc basically wholly owned subsidiary a publicly listed z jang century hopefully i don't know what how in that i don't know how i don't know how pronounce that could you not i agree what that all right after doing a little micky research i think uh drivers is going to be able to read this out for for us because we're in the actual.
Starting point is 00:56:59 What's on your mind today? Just say that for me. Xi Zhang Century Huatong Group. Yeah, okay. I can't say none of that. But shout out to AI, bro. Yep, that's what it's used for. So anyways,
Starting point is 00:57:12 whatever that was pronounced as. So with them, right? They wholly own subsidiary of publicly a list. Oh, no, that's the one I just said. So with a thousand plus employees, they focus on mobile strategy slash casual titles with strong data-driven UA and live. operations. So the reason why I say that is because this is one of their top revenue drivers.
Starting point is 00:57:34 As you have whiteout survival at number one for Century Games, Kingshot at number two, family farm adventure at number three, Dragon escapes and number four. And then older family farm titles, um, they percolate throughout the rest of the five through the rest. But basically you understand that them have a white out survival and King's shot under their umbrella. I mean, Century Games info is currently one of the the most notoriously mass-affecting mobile game developers out there. You know what? Somebody has to say it. You know what I mean?
Starting point is 00:58:02 That's a huge. That's a pretty star-studded resume, especially as one development studio. So with that means, you'd probably think it to yourself. Well, how does this game play? Well, I'm glad you asked. As when it comes to King Shot the Mobile Game, basically is a free-to-play mobile idol survival strategy game combining 4X strategy, city building,
Starting point is 00:58:23 resource management, hero collection, and light tower defense mechanics. Once again, the developer slash publishers, the Century Games PTE. The global release happened February 22nd, 2025, and it's only on iOS, Android, followed shortly after around March 3rd, 2025. So, with there being on iOS and Android, there's still no PC or console versions announced. So as of right now, you can only play this game on your mobile device. Well, if you have iOS or Android. So I think with the setting, not I think, I'll think.
Starting point is 00:58:58 research this. So the setting is in a post-rebellion meet medieval, medieval kingdom with players rebuild civilization, recruit heroes, defend settlements, and compete for kingdom dominus. Now, of course, with Century Games already being very much a veteran in the mobile gaming community, they already knew what they was doing with the gameplay loop. And of course, they knew what they was doing to optimize the longevity for this particular game. As when it comes to Kingshot specifically, the core features, there's a plethora of them, right? I'm not going to go through the whole list because I just wanted to tell you the basis of what the game's about. But some of the other things you need to know about the game is that it's very unique as when you look at the mixing of idle progression
Starting point is 00:59:42 with active 4X gameplay, that's very unique. When you look at the early game emphasizing tower defense before transitioning into traditional strategy gameplay, that's also unique. And then, of course, you have the detailed survivor happiness and romance. So there's a lot of my GM to put in 2K terms going on in this particular game. And some people may be wondering, well, dreams, if I have a 9 to 5, how long is it going to take me? Shepherd, just look at the state of gaming. Like, what is going on? Safe to say, if you want to enjoy a lot of games in the gaming industry, this may not be the game for you.
Starting point is 01:00:22 As ladies and gentlemen, there is no... I know that ain't who I think it is. I said there is no actual runtime for this game as it could go forever. Literally, it says forever. And when you look at the end game, it can take you hundreds. I mean, hundreds of hours across months to actually even enter the end game. So that means that a lot of the remaining active players have 100 plus days through live events and kingdom competition. This is one of those type of games that you could be a wee little lad playing this and be a whole,
Starting point is 01:00:56 and still be earning things in the game. Basically, this game could take you forever. So the gameplay loop is limitless. When it comes to people playing the game, obviously they're enjoying the limitless gameplay loop. And that is the crux. That is basically the overall point I was wanting to give to you. But of course, when it comes to the rest of Kingshot mobile games,
Starting point is 01:01:20 you have to look at the installs as far as Google Play with 50 million plus downloads at Magic, with approximately 42 million downloads during 2025 and the earlier milestones as far as 10 million plus installs within months of launch. And then not even to mention that, but of course when you look at the rest of this particular game, you come to realize that it's very impressive
Starting point is 01:01:45 as far as the daily active users and the average revenue per daily active user. As when you look at it specifically, you have 66 million slash a month and then the average revenue per daily active user is $1.45, which is pretty much higher than most mobile games and definitely higher than Whiteouts, right? The only reason why I'm saying that is because both games are under the umbrella of Century Games, which makes you understand while there's so many misleading ads because this is one of their main driving factors.
Starting point is 01:02:20 It's like, we've got to get them eyeballs by any mean possible. So anyways, with that being said, and you also have 1.7 million daily active users, which is, of course, I already read off the percentages as far as U.S. and Japan and who else? Those U.S. to Japan and South Korea. Like, U.S. has 43 percent. South Korea has 8 percent, and Japan has 7 percent. So when it comes to the longevity of this game, safe to say is going to be around for quite some time. and Century Games has relied on one of the mobile game
Starting point is 01:02:55 as the largest user acquisition campaigns as far as ad impressions of App Loving and 63% YouTube 33%. The largest advertising market is in Japan with 57% of impressions. And of course, the ads include UGC, style videos, Tower Defense gameplay, Hero Battles, and thousands of creative variations
Starting point is 01:03:15 tested simultaneously. And the reason why I say that is because when I looked up this particular game, I don't know who or which developer needs to fight this man right here. But basically, ladies and gentlemen, whoever this is at the top, analytic dreams video on Spotify to see the video along with the audio. Not at the top, but whoever this man is right here.
Starting point is 01:03:36 This one I'm looking at, this one, you see my cursor? All right, y'all see it. So basically, whoever Matt Shia is, you know, shout to you or not, I don't know. I don't have no beef with you, my brother. But when it comes to the king shop, When it comes to the Kingshot mobile developers, I just know they're looking at your video saying to themselves. I just don't like it, man.
Starting point is 01:03:54 You know what I'm saying? I just don't like that shit, man. I kid you now. When I saw this video, I was like, wow, that man must really hate Kingshot. And if you're only listening to the audio version, just know that the title of this video reads, I played King Shot so you don't have to. That's crazy. That is insane. Just look at the state of gaming.
Starting point is 01:04:14 That is Skip Bayless. That is Skip Bayless, levels of hating right. right there i ain't mad at it you know what i'm saying so the reason why i point that out is because all of these marketing dollars and that brother right there i'm pretty sure he didn't get any of them but he is currently notoriously affected the masses and not let's say it's not the greatest pr for your uh game so anyways with that means said another thing i want to get into is of course the uh the review round up from the masses as google play has a 4.4 star rating app store has 4.6 star rating but you already know you already know we get actual opinions over here notorious mass
Starting point is 01:04:47 effect from the people who actually played the game. So of course, when you look at Metro Game Central, as far as a critique, gave it a two out of 10 saying, quote, players who have been around the free-to-play block will immediately recognize King's shot as a re-skin of whiteout survival. Huh? Don't he know that's under the same company? All right, my fault. It's his review, not mine.
Starting point is 01:05:13 Which itself is identical in gameplay terms to top war survival. age of empires and a host of other games cynically designed to exploit unwary players financially do yourself a favor and give it a wide birth what in the actual so of course I want to keep it eight more than 92 I don't want to just read off the negative ones let me see so Clarissa gave it on apps or a positive slash yeah high score so basically she's a he she is she he, I don't know, ain't trying to cancel. Clarissa, let's just say that. Said, quote, this game has me hooked. This is the best game I've ever played slash downloaded.
Starting point is 01:05:59 I've downloaded quite a few games where you end up not being able to progress without putting money into it, which is extremely frustrating. I know that's right. This game is not that. It's easy enough to play. You don't need to put any
Starting point is 01:06:15 money into it to play. Although I do end up buying. Hold up now. I know that ain't who I think it is. I know that ain't who I think it is. Shepard. All right. It's her review, not mine.
Starting point is 01:06:33 Clarissa said it's easy enough to play. You don't need to spend any money, right? And then in parentheses, don't you know we can see you anyways? In parentheses, Clarissa put, although I do end up buying packs here and there to help speed up construction time. I didn't seen it all.
Starting point is 01:06:51 I just don't know, bro, what? I just don't like that shit, man. No, bro, you can't contradict yourself. I have to say you don't need to put money into it. You literally just say you put money into it to speed up construction time. But whatever. I'm not sure I fully understand the game. All right, we just don't skip that one, man.
Starting point is 01:07:07 That's not it. You guys. Okay. I kid you not. Most of these reviews are negative, but it makes me wonder. Why is this one of the best-selling mobile games in the industry if most of these review roundups is negative? all these are negative two out of ten zero out of ten one star i mean goodness oh hold on i found one i found one seven at ten for metacritic user max thor max thor max thor gave king shot at seven out ten saying quote the game directly copies the modern
Starting point is 01:07:36 four x framework of white out survival i'm not going to lie that's not the detriment that they think it is because it's under the same umbrella as far as the development studios i'm not mad at it but anyways is their review not mountain their hands on time not meet um getting back in the thoris review while it's interacted while its interaction design is in visuals remain at a high mobile standard the story the world building and core selling points feel half baked relying only on a startup minigame blatantly mimicking throne fall in the end it feels like a wasted showcase of the developers technical capabilities
Starting point is 01:08:18 ladies and gentlemen that was a seven out of ten review um safe to say uh people don't like this people don't like this but objectively speaking it is the top earner
Starting point is 01:08:30 the second top earner for century games with 500 million in the first 11 months right as far as in totality I don't know how much it has right now obviously way more than 500 million because we're in the year of 2026 um
Starting point is 01:08:43 it did go down a little bit as far as month after month. I think I actually had that stat somewhere. It went down, but when you look at it, I'm trying to see, what was that? It was something about January. I have so many notes. This stuff's crazy. Okay, I think it's somewhere because I read my notes before I start recording.
Starting point is 01:09:02 You know, only do one take, you know what I'm saying? That's crazy. So, okay, I think I found it. So basically, the monthly installs went down. And with that, it was down. I did not find it. Hold on, hold it. I'll get a little.
Starting point is 01:09:17 I may just type in, oh, okay, I found it finally. After some Mickey research. So basically, in February 2026, the revenue was 93 million, down 9% from January's 102.2.2 million.
Starting point is 01:09:29 That don't sound like a downfall to me. You know what I'm saying? Not going to lie as a company. You're like, man, we're down. Well, Larry, how much are we down by? 9%. Well, what does that mean for the bottom line?
Starting point is 01:09:40 We still made $93 million. What an actual? Shepard. What? at the state of gaming like what is going on i know that ain't who i think i would tell that man get out my office boy i know it's down 9% but we're still making millions of dollars you know what i'm saying that's insane so um some of the other community concerns is alleged bot farming well dissatisfaction complaints about spring tide celebration rewards complaints about spring dragon leaderboard event
Starting point is 01:10:06 and luckbees tribute event now i know that specifically for the hardcore king shop mobile gamers because I have no idea what that means. But besides all the critiques and negative reviews in the world, King's shot still remains among the top 10 highest grossing mobile games currently. So if y'all don't like something, stop playing it. No, I mean, I'm just saying, you know, as far as the solution, it's not that complex, my brother. I mean, my sister, you know, just stop playing the game.
Starting point is 01:10:37 Guess what? You know what I'm saying? Problems all. You know what I'm saying? Problems all. And if enough people do it, that is called group economics. So central games is still the number three as far as the biggest, the third biggest mobile publisher worldwide by NAP purchases revenue behind only 10 cent in Scoplin. You guys.
Starting point is 01:11:01 See, that's the problem. So with that being said, click my link to you in my bio to follow me on my social medias. And of course, if you're on Spotify, make sure to let me know if you're a huge connoisseur of Kingshot Mobile Games, what makes you keep coming back to the game? and why? Shepard, promise me you'll tell them to subscribe for ad free content. Now ladies and gentlemen, over here in notorious Mass Effect, of course we get into the games and music IPs that currently is notoriously affecting the masses, but safe to say, you guys, this is a very interesting case as for this brand new IP, you know, shout out to the gaming
Starting point is 01:11:39 industry for new IPs, you know what I'm saying, they come out every now and then, but do a lot of them notoriously effective masses of course not but then you realize on the steam platform analytic dreams video on Spotify to see the video along with the uh along with the audio basically as you can see right here you guys one the actual i know that's the problem i know that's the now this is all going to make sense in the second on while we're covering this particular game but as of right now when you look at the steam charts and you know a thousand players is pretty solid no matter what type of creator you are right you get a thousand people time and time again, that means somebody is enjoying your product, right?
Starting point is 01:12:17 The all-time peak, though, of six days ago being 5,525, and a 24-hour peak being 3,900, I mean, it's not the greatest, right? You know? Shepherd. You feel me? Just look at the state of gaming. Like, what is going on? So you're probably wondering why we're covering this game in the first place.
Starting point is 01:12:35 If we're covering the biggest gaming IPs currently notoriously affecting the masses, but the reason why we're covering the mound, omen of course, Cthulhu is because this game did just come out July 15th, 2026. But of course, when you look at consoles specifically, it is performing tremendously. As it is currently the fifth most play game on Xbox. And when you look at PlayStation, it is also the fifth most play game on PlayStation. Now, the reason why I started off with Steam is to let you know that even though one of the platforms may not have your product notoriously affecting the math. there's always other platforms out there
Starting point is 01:13:17 that could get you to the audience that you are, that you are wanting, right? So as of right now, I think the main reason between the console and the PC discreferencey is because based off of reports, apparently, Steam and the reviews, I'm not going to say it deters people
Starting point is 01:13:39 from the video game, but I think, especially with this being more cross-play, co-op focus more people have the game pass and have a PS5 and would rather play on those platforms and play on PC but specifically speaking the ongoing patches for performance slash crossplay on PC does not help any it doesn't help out a lot right and of course you start to look at the stronger console visibility marketing strategies and now it starts to make sense it start to make sense why it's the top five
Starting point is 01:14:14 game on Xbox and PlayStation. So with that out the way, the main thing I wanted to say is this is a new IP. So I think this is a phenomenal W for the development team as far as A's team and of course for the publishing team as far as is it NACON? Is it NACON?
Starting point is 01:14:32 NACON? I have no idea. I guess it's tomato tomato. But when you look at A's team and NACON, the main thing with A's team as far as the development developers is they are a Chilean indie studio in Santiago, founded in 1998 through 99 by brothers Andreas Carlos and Edmundo Bordeaux. And of course, when you look at this particular development studio, they're known for genre blending games like Xeno Clash in 2009, The Rock of Ages
Starting point is 01:15:05 series, Abyss Odyssey, the Deadly Tower of Monsters, the Eternal Cylinder in 2021. Basically, it's a lot of obscure type of angles in artist direction the ace team consistently does right so with this particular game it's very interesting as the mound omen of cothulu with it being developed by ace team and it being a new IP i think it's performing at a certain level to where it could go either way right it could completely fall off or with the correct marketing strategy it could keep affecting the masses like it's currently doing as far as being a top five most play game on xbox and and ps five so the main thing when it comes to the publishers of course nacon formerly big bin interactive is a french publisher and accessories maker uh based in les quinn i think that's how you say it
Starting point is 01:15:56 and publish games and design controllers slash headsets and when it comes to that when it comes to the revenue drivers or the revenue earners it's basically accessories like i just said in the description making nine no making uh around 20 to 22 million as far as through the accessories and of course their top drivers also is the pack back catalog games to select new releases as far as racing slash sports titles horr slash co-op and peripherals so when you look at nacon facing an insolvency proceedings in early 2026 amid parent green group issues. You come to realize that not only is the mount omen of Cthulhu a success on console, but it may be just what NACON needed at just the right time. Because of course,
Starting point is 01:16:49 early 2026 was not too long ago. Ladies and gentlemen, it was seven months into 2026. So with this being a successful game, I think it would be in NACON's best interest to have a successful marketing strategy expeditiously, right? So that'd be said, you'd probably wonder, what this game is about. And same. You know what I'm saying? My fault. You know, of course, I did a lot of research and I looked it up just for y'all. You know what I mean? Not too crazy. Oh, you ain't got to do all that. I mean, Drewski, they ain't got to do all that.
Starting point is 01:17:20 Just make sure to rate this five stars. You know what I'm saying? Nothing too crazy. So when it comes to the mound of Cthuloo, or the mound omen of Cthuloo, it's a co-op first-person action adventure, survival horror extraction game. I know that's a lot, but stay with me. It is inspired by HP Lovecraft's 1940 novel, The Mount. The game reimagines the story in a 17th century Chilean jungle where Spanish conquistadors search for treasure in the underground city, Cayenne, inhabited by followers of elder gods, including Cthulhu. Now, there was a lot of words for this game is a little abstract. if I do say so myself. You know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 01:18:05 I mean, we're looking at it. As far as this particular artist's direction is still notoriously affecting the masses on console. I mean, I think that's an accomplishment itself. But expounding upon this particular game, of course, as far as the gameplay loop, players began to board the Tempestad, Galien, accept contracts,
Starting point is 01:18:26 equipped 17th century weapons, flintlocks, match locks, bows, knives, lanterns, etc. and explore a cursed jungle. Now, I don't know about y'all. But as a black man, no, I mean, so like I said it, you know, as a black man representing
Starting point is 01:18:41 the black community, you know what I'm saying? It's not many too many times I want to revisit the past. Now, I feel like the reasons speak for itself, right? But for some people, they love going in the past and playing particular projects, right?
Starting point is 01:18:57 So this game would definitely be the type of game for those people who want to explore the past and more specifically the 17th century. So the main thing you're going to be doing in this game as far as the core gameplay loop is resource management, stealth and exploration, extraction-based gameplay, and you're going to share equipment amongst teammates. Once again, it's one to four players. And when it comes to death, it causes loss of most collected gear.
Starting point is 01:19:26 Because, of course, once again, it's the extraction-based gameplay. compared to one of the more popular games. Well, I'm trying to be rude, but it's one of the more popular extraction games as far as Marathon. Let's just put it like that. Let's just say bungee's going through a lot. So anyways, with that being saying, there is a unique feature as far as the madness system, which is inspired by Eternal Darkness, I guess it's one of the earlier games. And basically, the increasing insanity causes hallucination, fake sounds, visual distortions,
Starting point is 01:19:59 screen effects like flies, interference, enemies disguised as teaming. Hold on, no. So you're telling me, if I'm playing with somebody, and I start hallucinating, there could be random imaginary villains behind my teammates. Are they going to call me crazy? You know what I'm saying? Whole time, I'm going to be trying to play the game. I'm going to look around.
Starting point is 01:20:20 I'm going to, hold on now. There's an enemy right behind you. They're going to be like, hold on where? Whole time is in my head. I don't know what I'm saying? I don't know. That's a pretty. a pretty cool feature so anyways um and then of course recorded teammates voices slash laughter
Starting point is 01:20:34 used to deceive players so that reminds me of certain horror games like um i forget the game when you get a lot it's i forget what that game is called i think rdc plays it a lot it's some type of horror game where you collect and there's like duplicate sometimes that act like you're your teammates but really they're just fakes trying to kill you right so i forget what the game's called but basically it reminds me of horror aspect and that makes sense because this is technically a horror game. I mean, you're in a cursed jungle. So, I mean, it doesn't get much of a horror setting than that.
Starting point is 01:21:06 So much more of a horror setting than that. So as far as the combat, you have mix of melee and firearms, period. Weapons can malfunction during the rain, such as during the rain. That's one of the examples. Solo mode is available, but significantly harder because AI companions are weaker than human teammates. So if you don't have friends, I don't know what to tell you. You know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 01:21:29 Like, if you ain't got friends, like if you are just supremely lonely. Shepherd. All right, my fault, they get the point. So basically, as far as the playable characters, there's about eight. So there's eight playable characters, primarily cosmetic rather than class base,
Starting point is 01:21:44 including Alonso di Latour. Hopefully I'm not messing these pronunciations up. Leonor. Leonor, Don Rodrigo de Medina, Frey Gaspar, Beatriz. Hassan Hwana and additional unlockable slash DOC characters via progression so when it comes to that I know my nine to five workers you know what I'm saying I know yeah I got y'all
Starting point is 01:22:11 cover you know what I'm saying oh come on Druskey they ain't got to do all that but when it comes to my nine to five workers out there you would be pleased to know that the main story will only take you 12 to 15 hours I know that so you know what I'm saying come on now somebody respecting our time out there so this game definitely respects your time but guess what ladies and gentlemen if you want to be a completionist which at that point
Starting point is 01:22:35 the amount of time you spend on the game is up to you right apparently though to be a completionist it will take you 50 plus hours right but keep in mind the main story is 12 to 15 hours and of course re-playability comes from the extraction gameplay loop
Starting point is 01:22:52 contracts ranging from basic to legendary, randomized enemy encounters and madness effects. So to me, personally, somebody who hasn't played the game, going off of the research based on people who have played the game, I'm thinking the most interesting aspect will be playing with friends you get along with. That should go without saying. But especially the hallucinations, I think, could cause for a lot of comedic elements in this particular and your particular gameplay run with your friends. So I can see this game being a hit amongst people who have a certain gamer friend group who enjoy these type of games because it's pretty abstract. The artist's direction is pretty unique.
Starting point is 01:23:31 And if you have three to four, yeah, three friends that would play this game with you, I can see you having a fun time. Now, that brings me to my next point. So when it comes to complaints for this particular game, of course, it's still doing phenomenal, right? Before we get to the complaints, as far as doing phenomenal, out the game, it had some. 70,000 to 90,000 steam copies as far as estimates, right? But the estimated revenue was in the low millions because I do not believe this game is a lot of money. Now, by not a lot of money, I mean, this game is about, let me see, I think it should have it on Steam. This game, I don't know, let me see.
Starting point is 01:24:10 This game should be about, what, $2,99? That's what's looking like right here. Some versions say 31, some say $2,99. But basically, it's not the full $70. So, and totality, I think this may be a good bang for your buck type of game if you want to play with friends just to spice it up as far as the game play or the games that you're playing. As far as the game rotation, this may be one of those games that you could throw in there with your buddies and have a blast, right?
Starting point is 01:24:36 So off of that, I think the low millions is because of the price point that that they set. But the main story only be at 12 to 15 hours makes sense on why it's not just an overall $70 game. And of course, with this being a new IP, you have to do everything possible to make your game stand out nowadays, especially with a plethora of games coming into the gaming industry and being super competitive out the gate, such as taskbar
Starting point is 01:25:03 heroes, such as Power World 1.0. Power been around, right? But now Power World 1.0 came out and people acting like it's a brand new game. So the competition is tremendous. Even our console, the reason why the mound is such a surprising hit on consoles is because college football is about to come out two K's about to come out
Starting point is 01:25:24 I think the pre-orders up now right and then of course you have call of duty that just released something so that now is back in the top five um avatar legends is in pre-order black flag is currently the third most play game on PlayStation I mean there's a lot of competition out there so when you look at the top games on PlayStation specifically I believe not only
Starting point is 01:25:46 are you competing competing with ball and gun games currently being in pre-order, but you're also competing with the masses as far as all the plethora of horror co-op games on Steam. So with that being said, I think right now it's doing fantastic. I think when it comes to the Xbox Game Pass, that may be the best platform if you have an Xbox. It's not an ad, of course.
Starting point is 01:26:09 But if you have an Xbox, it may be the best platform to get this particular game on, especially with the Game Pass, with this game being on a Game Pass. but for the pros and cons now it's time to get in that you know what I'm saying you guys so when it comes to the praise the masses are saying that is an excellent lovecraft atmosphere innovative sanity system once again that's one of the things that jumped out to me just reading it on paper right the amount of innovative horror aspects as
Starting point is 01:26:37 far as the hallucination effects I think it's pretty interesting especially with the friend group the strong horror when playing with friends unique historical setting and then a great sound and environmental design and now it's time to get into the critics as the negatives for this game from the masses is it the combat lacks polish progression field shallow they say there's a lot of technical issues AI companion weakness once again we said that earlier with the description of the game and then they also say that some players felt it resembled an early access game despite full release so just giving you an objective pro and con list of what the masses were saying currently about the mound omen of kathulu and when
Starting point is 01:27:22 when it comes to that i think the main takeaways for this particular game is the madness mechanic i think the uniqueness of it and the effects it can have during your gameplay loop with other friends it's very interesting in my opinion but of course if you aren't if that's not attracting you the handcraft exploration instead of procedural maps the overall atmosphere I think is also a unique atmosphere, especially when you look at the gameplay field or the gaming field right now as far as the type of games that look like this, there's not that many, right? And then of course the blending of historical colonial themes with cosmic horror while adding direct
Starting point is 01:28:03 portraying the Mapuche people as cultus. I think that aspect as far as the story elements is unique as well. So those are the pros and cons I have as far as from the masses. Now, of course, when it comes to the actual reviews, you already know we have that on deck as when it comes to, I think I was going to read off IGN's a startup, but I don't think I see it on here. When it comes to, hold on a second.
Starting point is 01:28:41 If I know how to type. Okay, after that, Mickey Research, safe to say, now we have the actual list. Shout out to me, you know what I mean? 20 cents going on 80. So, with that being said, after some technical difficulties, The main thing I was going to get into, especially the review Roundup, is that a lot of the criticisms definitely seem to be around the, oh yeah, here we go. Okay, so basically IGN, do I have IGN?
Starting point is 01:29:12 I have CG Magazine. I wanted to start off for IGN, I guess. Yeah, here we go. IGN gave this game a 7 out of 10 saying, quote, if you have a reliable group to play with, basically saying if you have friends, you know what I'm saying? My fault. I mean, I was just translating. Anyways, getting back in the IGN's review. Quote,
Starting point is 01:29:29 The Mount Omen of Cthulhu can be a challenging and entertaining horror excursion. Sometimes it feels a bit too oppressive. Though, it could benefit a lot of more, a lot more, I'm tripping. It could benefit a lot for more nuanced difficulty options, especially for introducing newer players
Starting point is 01:29:50 into a high-level group. Still, clever sanity effects great enemy variety and in the expanse of airy majestic jungle to explore are enough that this one will probably stay in my cruise rotation when we're up for something heart pounding. And that's basically what I was saying as far as this being a unique game if you have a group of friends that prefer these obscure type of games and they, you know, want to have some type of horror element. So anyways, I think as far as October, if this game would have it going on, because just, GTA.
Starting point is 01:30:25 Never mind. They had a good release with this. So anyways, CG Magazine gave it an 8 out of 10 saying, quote, The Mound Omen of Cthulhu is an atmospheric and well-realized take on the Cthulhu mythos, delivering a solid cooperative experience that fans looking for a challenge will
Starting point is 01:30:44 want to set sail tours. And they say that my biggest issue with the Mount Omen of Cthulhu is one of difficulty, with the early game being relatively hard. this makes at least a three-man team almost compulsory once you find your footing however the mount omen of kutulu has a rock solid foundation that will spell a good time for those looking for a cooperative experience to play with their friends you know what i'm saying and then last but definitely not least let's go with gaming boat giving it a six out of ten just to get all the perspectives uh gaming boat gave it a six at six at ten saying quote The mound is an intriguing mix of ideas, if nothing else. But even without the iffy gameplay, it eventually boils down to a repetitive slog.
Starting point is 01:31:36 Well, they gave you the opinion. Look at the state of gaming. Like, what is going on? So that being said, I think this is not one of the more quality level games out there. I think it's just a fun experience, especially with friends who love abstract type adventures. and they don't mind they don't mind a hallucination
Starting point is 01:31:58 type of effects especially if it's Halloween season right? I think this game could boost and have a huge increase in sales during the Halloween
Starting point is 01:32:07 time as far as October but you know we'll have to wait to see if that comes into fruition. So with that be it I say click my link and share my bio
Starting point is 01:32:14 to follow me in my social media and of course if you're on Spotify and if you're and if you play this game with your friends let me know
Starting point is 01:32:21 the most interesting horror aspect about the game and what do you like most about it and why Shepard promise me you'll tell them to subscribe for ad free content now yet another Nintendo Switch to Exclusive that just may
Starting point is 01:32:44 end up being a contender for game of the year Shepherd just look at the state of gaming you know what is going on because when you look at Spatoon Raiders you come to realize there's no PVP. So how in the world, objectively speaking, could it ever reach number one
Starting point is 01:33:02 as far as the best-selling game on Nintendo Switch 2 for the week of July 20th through July 26? So, ladies and gentlemen, that's exactly what it accomplished. As Splatoon Writers' PVP, no, a PVE version, has, objectively speaking, just debuted with 474,000 out the gate making it the number one most played game on nintendo currently now if you don't know when you look at the famitsu charts which is the charts in japan it's currently number one because
Starting point is 01:33:42 it sold 474 000 684 physical copies during launch week and of course a very strong launch when you look at the aspect of them completely changing the perspective of Splatoon Raiders players which the reason why say that is because usually Splatoon Raiders is used to going up against other people in Splatoon Raiders as far as a pvP aspect and now you have Splatoon Raiders which is specifically a single player experience but you can't play with friends but it's exclusively a PVE aspect meaning if you do play with other people you would be fighting the computer there's no PVP aspect in Splatoon Raiders compared to previous Splatoon Raider installment.
Starting point is 01:34:30 So the reason why I say that is to get you ready for this next analytical perspective. Because, you know, over here, notorious mass effect, getting into the gaming and music IPs that notoriously affect the mass. It's safe to say when we're talking about Splatoon Raiders, as far as the sales and review Roundup, I think it's important to point out the fact that Splatoon Raiders is definitely one of the more notorious IPs that Nintendo possesses. But to be fair, this specific Splatoon Raiders did underperform when you look at past Splatoon Raiders.
Starting point is 01:35:05 As Platoon 3, which is the latest, the one before this one, it basically sold $3.4 million in the first three days. Now, to be fair, that Splatoon Raiders, I mean, Splatoon 3, my fault. Splatoon 3 was specifically a competitive multiplayer aspect as far as PVP. So, Splatoon Raiders being a seat. single player. It kind of makes sense that it's not as high as far as 3.4 million. Because if you don't know, most people nowadays want more multi-player aspects in that game when they can go up against other players versus playing the computer. Why is it like that? I have no idea. You know, people would rather
Starting point is 01:35:41 bang their head against the keyboard against other players instead of enjoying the environment playing the computer. But, you know, I never understood that. But, you know, as you can tell, I'm a huge single-player experience type of gamer. So with that being said, obviously, when you look at Splatoon Raiders debuting at number one, that's a significant accomplishment, especially when you look at the other games that have came out under the exclusive umbrella, because this is a big accomplishment because it's only available on Nintendo Switch 2.
Starting point is 01:36:10 There's no announced ports, meaning that it's probably going to be a Nintendo Switch 2 exclusive for quite some time. So looking at the other Nintendo IPs as far as Pokemon, as far as Mario, as far as Zelda, you are already. know that we have to bring up Pokemon Pocopoeia as that objectively speaking is probably the best game that Nintendo has currently under their exclusivity. But then you look at games like Mario Tennis that I believe Splatoon Raider beats out. You look at Star Fox which you know, hey, I'm not going to lie to you, man.
Starting point is 01:36:44 You guys, see that's the problem. Y'all Star Fox fans out there are not really showcasing that you want more Star Fox games. I'm just saying, you know, I looked at the numbers. I was like, hold up now. Ain't this the remaster for a classic one? The world that came out. And basically, it's at a total of 64,000 copies. Now, of course, you know, for the Star Fox fans out there,
Starting point is 01:37:10 you guys, see, that's the problem. There's nothing wrong with that because, you know, maybe it's just a cold classic, but don't expect, you know, don't expect an expedited process for the next Sawfax game. So anyways, with that being said, we have Mario Tennis Feastew. which is one of the notorious exclusives for Nintendo Switch 2.
Starting point is 01:37:28 Pokemon, Pocopio, which is also another notorious exclusive for Nintendo Switch 2. Then you have Star Fox, which is we just talked about that. And then of course, Splatoon Raiders came out the gate swinging because of course compared to Fire Emblem, compared
Starting point is 01:37:44 to Star Fox, compared to the Nintendo Switch sports installment, the Dust Bloods, which is, I don't even think that came out yet. So I think when you look at Pocopio, Mario Tennis, and Splatoon Raiders, that is the bar for people looking at should I get a Nintendo Switch 2. I think if you're posing the question, should I go out to the store or to the digital store and online order or physically purchase a Nintendo Switch 2? I think right now you have Mario Tennis, Pokemon Pocopio,
Starting point is 01:38:23 And you have Splatoon Raiders. As far as objectively speaking, one of the notorious mass effectors in the gaming industry that is exclusively only playable on the Switch 2. And the reason why I say that is because exclusives sell consoles. That is why you look at Mario Tennis World. I said Tennis. My fault. Mario Kart World and how it came out at the beginning of the Switch 2 cycle.
Starting point is 01:38:46 It's because they wanted to sell the consoles expeditiously. They try to get them off the shelves as fast as they could. So they attach Mario Kart World to it. So exclusivity is the best way to sell your console. And as of right now, I don't think in the year of 2026, aside from Pokemon Pokopoeia, there's really any reason to have a Switch 2. But then that is why we're getting into the game
Starting point is 01:39:12 that we're getting into for this specific segment, which is Splatoon Raiders. As of right now, Flatoon Raiders is raising the interest in me getting a Switch 2 because exclusivity for products like Splatoon Raiders and Pokemon Pokopoeia is way more enticing
Starting point is 01:39:31 than just Pokemon Pokemon Pokopoeia and Mario Tennis. Say what you want about Mario Tennis. You may enjoy it, but to me, I prefer an actual single-player Mario game, not Mario Kart World, not Mario Kart Tennis. So it's hard for me to justify
Starting point is 01:39:47 even getting a Nintendo Switch 2 because I'm thinking to myself, when am I going to play on it? So with that out there, the way. That is probably the biggest question that needs to be answered as far as Nintendo connoisseurs out there on what actually is the benefits for owning or trying to go purchase a Nintendo Switch 2. Now anyways, getting back into Splatoon Raiders, if you don't know what this specific Splatoon Raiders installment is, is a single player focus action RPG,
Starting point is 01:40:13 third person shooter, and their first spinoff as far as the fourth overall game in Nintendo Splatoon franchise. Now, of course, as far as lifetime units is not really competing with the giants in the Nintendo IPs, such as a Mario with 800 million lifetime units, a Pokemon with 500 million plus lifetime units, a Zelda with 150 million plus lifetime units. And then, of course, you go down a little bit, you go down a little further. And then there's Splatoon Raiders with a nice respectable 30 million. So comparing it to the top Nintendo IPs as a Splatoon Raiders, or just as a Splatoon fan, you may be a little humbled, but objectively speaking,
Starting point is 01:40:59 is outperforming a lot of Nintendo exclusive IPs. It's just not up there with the big dogs as far as Pokemon, Mario, et cetera. So, anyways, the reason why I say that is because this is inspired by Splatoon 3 Salmon Run, which salmon run. This is salmon or salmon? I know as far as the food, it's salmon, but I don't know if they want us to include the L. You know what I'm saying? Like, I'm really, all right, y'all get the point. So, um, Splatoon 3's salmon run design as a more approachable PVE experience. Earlier versions were tower defense games where players place traps against Salmon. Samenoid?
Starting point is 01:41:40 Samanoid. Samanid. But what in the actual is that? What is that? What is that? You guys. See, that's the problem. I need Siri to read this off to me because I have no idea with this.
Starting point is 01:41:52 Like what type of? Traps against Samanid waves. No. No, that can't be real. That can't be real, bro. We learn in real time, man. Shout out to Kastenet, man. Traps against Samanid wave.
Starting point is 01:42:06 Samanid. Samanid. Okay, whatever. So traps against Sammy Waves, but Nintendo abandoned the idea because it lacks Splatoon's fast movement and in combat. So, of course, once again,
Starting point is 01:42:18 this is a review roundup, a review in sales roundup. So, of course, I started off with the sales. I'm just letting you know what the game is about. So with this particular game, the main selling point is that it's PVE. They're not doing the original Splatoon Raiders PVP aspect, which a lot of people grew accustomed to looking forward to. But now, with the PVE, you come to realize that the gameplay loop is you controlling a customizable mechanic stranded on Sparhalite Islands alongside Deep Cut as far
Starting point is 01:42:51 as Shiver, Fry, and Big Man. And the main gameplay loop, is exploring islands, collecting spirulite crystals, treasure and loot, defeating Seminoids, Summonoys, still don't know I pronounce that, returning to base to upgrade equipment and repeating increasingly difficult raids. So now you come to realize that this game is definitely going to be a lot of repeating what you've done before, but of course if the gameplay loop is immaculate, then nobody would put that as a big negative on the game. because guess what?
Starting point is 01:43:23 Caller Duty has the same gameplay loop. Marvel Rivals has the same gameplay loop. You don't see people complaining about that. So I think, of course, with this being a single player aspect, you being able to play with other friends as far as the P... It's still being PVE, but you being able to play with other friends, I think that consistent gameplay loop is justifiable if it's entertaining. And speaking on it being entertaining,
Starting point is 01:43:49 we have a lot of different types in this game. such as the speed type, the power type, and the tactical type, and you can equip two gadgets per tank, including blast boot, dash bomb, booerang, where in the cyborg, shot pot, turret, and split tell ice. And then there's 100 plus weapon variations, including rare special weapons, and a lot of the other things is more nerd talk if you actually play the game. So, of course, me keeping it in generality, because I want the people who are thinking about paying for the game or getting into the game,
Starting point is 01:44:22 to know more about the overall info about the game than the, you know, the nerdy details that you only get if you played it. So, um, but that means, let's switch to the multiplayer. So multi-player supports up to four-player online or local co-op. Once again, there's no PVP, but you can play with other people and you will be having a PVE aspect and it focuses entirely on cooperative, treasure, raise. Now, there's the difficulty settings where you have Taurus for easy, Raider for normal, survival list for hard and harder postgame spicy modes that unlocks after completion. Now, as far as the spicy modes, I've never been to spicy person myself. So, you know, as far as food, you know, all right, my fault. Can't bring a food in the gaming review one in the world. So what that
Starting point is 01:45:08 being said, um, Splatoon Raiders has a stable 60 FPS on Switch 2, strong optimization. And when you look at the 9 to 5 worker experience and their perspective, they're probably thinking to them, How long will this game take me to beat? You know what I'm saying? Just look at the state of gaming. Like what is going on? As far as the state of gaming for all my 9 to 5 workers out there, let's just say they are definitely respecting your time. You know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 01:45:38 You know what I mean? As Splatoon Raiders, Pragmata, 007, you come to realize, look, all these developers. are out here respecting certain non-defi workers time that want to play a phenomenal single-player experience that is not 60 plus hours. I'm looking directly at you, Assassin Creek Shadows.
Starting point is 01:46:10 I still ain't forgot about that. Here I am thinking I'm about to beat the game with 60, 80 plus hours in. I barely scratched the surface. I said to myself, you know what? I don't care about the game that much. So. So for my 95 workers out there, let's just say there's multiple titles in the year of 2026
Starting point is 01:46:29 that definitely respects your time and gives you a phenomenal single player experience. So anyways, going back at the Splatoon Raiders. The main story should take you about 14 hours to beat. And when you look at the story plus side content, it should take you about 15 to 20 plus hours to beat. And then, of course, when you look at the completion that runs, it should take you about 30 to 40, 30 to 50 plus hours to be. because of course as far as completion is, let's just say there's certain things you can get stuck on if you're trying to collect each and everything in the game. So aside from the sales, aside from this game being a respectable entry into this Splatoon franchise,
Starting point is 01:47:08 once again, it's not the biggest because of course the Splatoon game that came out before this one, so 3.4 million in three days. But then you look at Splatoon Raiders out the gate selling 474,000. But still, it was the number one most play game as far as the week of July 20 through July 26. But of course, when you look at Splatun Raiders in the previous, in the Splatoon Raider predecessors, I think the developers may look at this and say, this is a respectable single player installment of the IP. But if we want to make the big bucks, which you know, all these corporations are money hungry nowadays. Don't forget who started the no physical wave.
Starting point is 01:47:49 I'm looking directly at you, Nintendo. You know what I'm saying? Just look at the state of gaming. Yep. Like, what is going on? Definitely Nintendo that started the whole no physical copy wave. And we don't even have to get into Mario Car World. You know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 01:48:02 The amount, the Mario Car World came out at, you know, the price point at the start, at the launch point, it just made no sense. And it just went downhill from there. So anyways, with that being said, we have a lot to blame. We have a lot of blame that we can put on Nintendo. But, hey, you know, we are giving kudos to Splatoon Raiders. So when you look at Splatoon Raiders as far as the exclusivity side of things,
Starting point is 01:48:28 I believe this is a great aspect, a great marketing factor as far as getting people to buy a Nintendo Switch 2 because Splatoon Raiders does not come into any other console. So when you look at the Nintendo Switch 2 version and no other console getting this game, not even PC, I think that's a strong selling point in my opinion. So with that being said, Let's transition into all of the reviews for Splatoon Raiders.
Starting point is 01:48:54 Now, of course, we're not going to get into all of them, but I did want to read off some of the reviews because once again, this is a sales and review roundup for our Splatoon Raiders. So starting off with Tech Radar Gaming, it gave it a strong five out of five. Tech Radar said, quote, Splatoon Raiders offers an incredibly compelling single-player take on the series trademark Inc. action. It's all underpinned by the same excellent shooting mechanics that make all on matches of
Starting point is 01:49:31 Platoon 3 such a blast. Now, smartly re-contextualized in a wholly player versus environment, PVE, format, and enhanced with a plethora of satisfying progression systems that allow you to experiment with countless impactful
Starting point is 01:49:47 character bills. IGM gave the Splatoon Raiders a 9 out of 10 saying, quote, Splatoon Raiders is an amazing action RPG with an expert, with the expertly executed loop. Expertly executed. Now, what type of word is that?
Starting point is 01:50:08 Y'all let me know. You know what I'm saying? You would think I was a professional podcast going on six years. What in the world? Anyways, my fault. So let's get back to this. I'm not cutting that out.
Starting point is 01:50:21 I'm not cutting that out either. You know, one take Drake over here. So what that means that with an expertly, It has a fantastic new powers with crazy upgrades that are worth chasing. Tough battles that force you to put care into your build in order to overcome them and a huge variety of fun level types to jump between. The pacing, balance, and difficulty curve are very impressive. I always had to work to get better, but none of the campaign ever felt like grinding or needless patterns. or needless padding. Raiders stay fresh by constantly introducing deeper ways to customize my
Starting point is 01:51:01 abilities that spark new ideas for creative combinations. This is the best Splatoon campaign yet and one of the top games on the Switch 2. Now, I would read off Nintendo Life's review, but they may be a little biased. So all I'm going to say is they gave it a 9 out of 10. I'm not going to read off the review though because they probably glazing, but you know, it's just me. So last but definitely not least, let's get into pocket tactics, which gave Splatoon Raiders a 10 out of 10. What in the world? Pocket tactics gave Splatoon Raiders a 10 out of 10 saying,
Starting point is 01:51:42 quote, Splatoon Raiders of Fish Ally Earns are seal of approval as a fantastic game in the franchise. Whether you go it alone or get help from other players, searching for loot and mining or has never been so fun thanks to the amount of weapons and gadgets you can equip to blast enemies out of existence. Plus, you get to hang out with Deep Cut, which is always a fun time.
Starting point is 01:52:16 Such you can tell, a lot of people are very much enjoying the game. Now, of course, when it comes to the price point, I believe this game is, I have no idea. hold on let me see uh i think if i click on here it should it should bring it up let's see um right there's price all right after doing some mickey research safe to say splatoon raiders is about sixty dollars now on a nintendo shop is fifty dollars and with that being said um so yeah the regular price is fifteen ninety is um is forty nine is um is forty nine
Starting point is 01:52:59 99. So yeah, that's not, I mean, I guess it's not bad for a 15 hour campaign because of course you can keep playing it to the point where you can get 40 to 50 hours of it, but you know, it just depends on how much you enjoy the gameplay loop and having the PVE aspect with all your friends. So, um, I think that was basically, I'm trying to see. Once again, this is a Nintendo Switch 2 exclusive. If you're looking to get a Nintendo Switch 2, um, Nintendo has just made it even more enticing as far as the package of exclusives. exclusivities they have. Once again, this year alone, they have Splitone Raiders, of course, Mario Tennis Fever that came out in February,
Starting point is 01:53:39 Pokemon Pocopoeia that came out in March, Star Fox that came out in June, Fire Em Bloom, Fortune's Weave that came out of September, just giving you the whole rundown of exclusive Switch games that you can look forward to if you end up getting a Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch Sports Resort that came out in October. And don't forget Dust Blugs, which is made by From Software, the same development. the same developing studio that of course made elder ring so they also made the dustbloods and what else oh yeah and then the yoshi title so if you still have the question should i get a nintendo switch two but those are the titles you can look forward to if you end up purchasing
Starting point is 01:54:19 that console so with that being said click my link to you in my bio to follow me on my social medias and of course make sure if you're on spotify make sure to let me know what do you like most about Splatoon Raiders if you've given the game a try. Shepard, promise me you'll tell them to subscribe for free content. Now, ladies and gentlemen, I just want you to know that April 14th, 2026, I put out this particular segment called BTS the biggest music group of all time. And basically, it was more of a question, right? Analytic Dreams video on Spotify to see the video along with the audio because I just took a snapshot.
Starting point is 01:54:59 So, you know, when it comes to this, this is the episode that came out April 14, 2026. Of course, notorious mass effect episode 159. BTS, the biggest music group of all time. Of course, I put a question mark leading to a lot of discussion as far as what's actually going on in the music industry as of right now, because BTS is currently having one of the most notorious mass affecting type years in the land of the music industry. why are they going to war with the Grammys? Well, that's exactly what we're here for. As BTS has officially announced that they would not submit their music for the 2027 Grammy Awards,
Starting point is 01:55:44 following the Recording Academy's edition of the Asian Music Focus category. What in the actual... You guys. See, that's the problem. Now I know what you're probably saying to yourself. Don't you have a huge K-pop audience that, loves your breakdowns as far as black pink as far as btas as far as new genes and of course i do but when it comes to me keeping the eight more than 92 i cannot lie to you i am exactly a hundred percent
Starting point is 01:56:15 on bt sot i kid you not as when you look at the landscape of music this is not unknown territory as far as adding a k-pop slash asian related category right um Once again, analytic dreams video, Spotify to see the video along with the audio, because we're pulling up a lot of receipts, ladies and gentlemen. As when you look at the award shows that have done this in the past, Grammys, well, we're going to end with the Grammys, but VMAs in 2019, they added K-pop-slash Asian-related categories. The EMAs in 2021, they added K-pop Asian-related categories. American Music Awards added Asian-K-pop-related categories in 2022, same with Billboard in 2020. And same with Iheart at 2024. So what makes the Grammy so different?
Starting point is 01:57:06 Well, ladies and gentlemen, if you don't know, exhibit B or exhibit C, how many exhibits I'm on this at this point. I got all type of evidence in a snapshot. So when it comes to BTS, if you don't know in the year of 2026, they had a whole hiatus, right? And so with their hiatus, basically they came back and because of their comeback with their album Ari rang that, you know, a certain somebody said that was going to you know i can't put my finger on it no i can't put my finger on it but it was a certain somebody that came out and said that bt s album a rye rang would be one of no would be the most successful album in the year of twenty 26 i wonder who that could be you know what i'm saying
Starting point is 01:57:46 oh yeah ain't got to do all that drusky give them some praise he ain't got to do all that but definitely make sure to rate this five stars so when it comes to me accurately predicting how big of an impact bt s will have let's just stay out the gate. Netflix also acknowledged that impact as when they partnered for their comeback release, they had a whole comeback live on Netflix, March 2026. And when did you know that objectively speaking, it had more numbers than the Oscars, had more numbers than the Golden Globes, the Emmys, the VMAs, and of course, hold up now. I know that ain't who I think it is. The Grammys. So it's almost like BTS is shaping up to have one of the biggest years in 2026. So if you're wondering why
Starting point is 01:58:36 this is such a big deal, it's not the fact that they're implementing K-pop slash Asian-related categories. It's the fact that they're implementing them for the year that BTS's mammoth of impact could be recognized. Because if you don't know, BTS has absolutely a whopping zero wins as far as Gramey's not to be fair they do have multiple nominations right but of course even though they have multiple nominations
Starting point is 01:59:05 with zero wins you come to realize that some of the peers because objectively speaking BTS by the streams the cultural reach the stadium touring the fandom I mean the army from the army which is BTS's
Starting point is 01:59:22 fan base name right the army is insane one of the biggest fan base if not the biggest in the music industry. So all of that equaled zero wins. And when you look at other groups that are on their same level, that you have to go back in the past
Starting point is 01:59:38 to even compare it as far as the Beatles. They have multiple Grammys, including album of the year. So now, when you look at this, BTS versus the Grammys, you come to realize the main reason why this is such a big deal is because it seems like the Grammys,
Starting point is 01:59:54 interestingly, and such a quinky thing. that in the year of BTS's biggest resurgence, biggest effect of the masses, they implemented K-pop slash Asian categories. You guys. See, that's the problem. It's almost like they want to keep that number zero as far as the amount of wins that BTS has as the Grammys, you know?
Starting point is 02:00:15 So anyways, with that being said, now, BTS joins the likes of Drake, the weekend, Eminem, WizKid, Frank Ocean, Zane Malik. It has Morgan Wallen on here, but I think the Grammy's boycotted Morgan Wallet, not the other way around. And it's because he said the hardy are. You know what I'm saying? I mean, somebody got to keep it more than 92. Anyways, with that being said, the official statement is right here. If you don't know it's in Chinese, of course your boy, you know, translated it for my English listeners out there.
Starting point is 02:00:44 So when it comes to, let me see if I can bring this up and combine it. Okay, I already had that. So let me pull it right here. So basically when it comes to this statement, all the BTS members came out and put a joint statement out. And in English, it says, quote, we've decided not to submit our work for this year's Grammy Awards. We hope music will be recognized in love for what it is, rather than being divided by region or language. Thank you as always to Army and everyone who supports us. So that's the joint statement. If you want to know what it said, I mean, I basically just read
Starting point is 02:01:23 off the English translation. So getting back into the overall notorious mass effect of BT. Yes, safe to say in the year of 26, not submitting your music for the Grammys, the music industry was definitely going to take note and take note they did as, once again, I have another more evidence, you know what I'm saying, evidence for days, well, I could be an excellent snitch. Anyways, so with that being said,
Starting point is 02:01:47 as you can see right here, BTS Aliens has reached number one on iTunes. Now, very interesting how it happened July 29, 2026, around 4 p.m. Right? this announcement happened around July 29th, 12 a.m. So it's almost as if the Army came together and the music industry came together
Starting point is 02:02:08 to realize and recognize BTS's phenomenal music. Because I keep saying, like, it's not just because I predicted them having the biggest album of 2026. It's not only that, but from a quality standpoint, I believe Army is fantastic. And before you be like, oh, you just pandering.
Starting point is 02:02:25 Let me tell you, I've been listening to this. album like it's been going out of style. Of course, y'all know my favorite artist. Is it okay? I got my dope on me. So he currently has my favorite album as far as Scorpion, but my second favorite album is Armin Ring. If you don't believe me, I got all type of recommendations. So if you want to get into the album, I would say dive into the track, please, that track is phenomenal. Let me see, I'm just talking about my favorites because I like the whole album. Please, I would dive into that specific track. It's literally title, please, not like me, like, I'm not begging. What other track do I like?
Starting point is 02:02:56 I like all these tracks. I think they don't know about us. That's another one I would choose. And then I'm just trying to get my top three recommendations for like how good this album actually is. It's so hard only to pick three. I could you not. I would probably say, I would say body to body. Okay, so that would be my three recommendations.
Starting point is 02:03:17 So if you go to Rory Rang, please. What else? They don't know about us. and body to body would be my recommendations as far as my top three offer the album. Now, of course,
Starting point is 02:03:28 it changes all the time, all the time, but that's just an immacculent album. Army Ring, the album that came out March 20th of this year, it's just a phenomenal album. I mean,
Starting point is 02:03:38 I really couldn't give it higher praise. The uniqueness of the album, the production is leaps and bounds above their competition. And the way that they go about their natural, the native language
Starting point is 02:03:50 into like English versus, it's just immaculate. So even though I cover the entire music and gaming field as far as what notoriously affects the masses, when you listen to artists who don't speak your language, usually for me, I listen for sonically to structure the track. And if I like it, I dive deep into the actual lyrics, meaning I look it up to see what it's about, right? He just can't be listening about anything. You know, imagine saying something crazy.
Starting point is 02:04:14 You don't even know. So if I like it enough, I'll look deeper into it. But the unique factor about BTS is not only do they know several languages, right? but they also create music in English and their native tongue. So with that being said, I think the versatility is just very unique when it comes to other artists. When you compare the versatility, you already know my favorite artist is Drake. Is it okay? I got my dope on me. So when it comes to versatility, I really enjoy how BTS switches it up on the entire RERRang album.
Starting point is 02:04:43 But please, technically, it's my favorite track off the album. So if you want to dive and listen to what great music sounds like, I think you should start with that. So anyways, just so you know I'm not keeping, I actually listen to BTS a lot. So with that being said, the main reason why this is a big deal is because the fan base have came together to make aliens go to number one. Now, of course, when it comes to that, Grammys expeditiously put out a statement. Because they were saying to himself, hold up, now people really care about BTS, and yes, yes, we do. So to save face, the BTS, let me see, no, no.
Starting point is 02:05:21 the safe face for the Grammys, the CEO came out. And this is what he had to say. I'm going to read off the whole statement, so y'all don't think I'm making it up. Analytic Dreams video on Spotify to see the video along with the audio. But Grammy CEO, Harvey Mason Jr., responded to BTS's decision not to submit their music for the 2027 awards following the introduction of an Asian focus category saying, quote, I am sadden to hear that BTS has chosen not to participate in the Grammy Awards
Starting point is 02:05:46 process this year. But as a music creator, I understand and respect their decision. I do want to clarify something that seems to be getting lost in the conversation. The Asian pop category was created to celebrate the depth, diversity, and extraordinary growth of pop artistry coming out of Asia. Hold up now. I know that ain't who I think it is. Are you telling me?
Starting point is 02:06:08 No, you're telling me one of the most, what, notorious awards you could get is following in the footsteps of, not only following, but they're like so late to, to put. putting out this inclusion, right? It's almost like they waited to BTS had their most successful year and they can actually get an album of the year to add these Asian categories so that if they snub them,
Starting point is 02:06:32 they can actually win the Asian categories as well. You know, when it comes to that, I think that's very interesting. I think I have it right here. I'm trying to see if I could find it. I had it up, but I exit out of it. I think I did, yeah. So let me see if I can actually find.
Starting point is 02:06:47 I don't think I have it. So when it comes to what I was looking for, it was basically the inclusion of the awards. Let me see. Let me see Asian. I think Asian categories. Try I make sure I can spell it right. There we go.
Starting point is 02:07:03 There we go. All right. So basically, going back into the tweet I was looking for it, when you had I heart, when you had all these other award shows coming out, basically talking about the inclusion of the categories. Yeah, I can't find it. Okay. That's great.
Starting point is 02:07:17 Let me see. Give me one second. Let me see. I'm saying, I'm saying. You know, I had to do some Mickey Research. Okay, so after doing some Mickey research, safe to say I found it. All right, here we go. So basically, this is what I'm talking about.
Starting point is 02:07:40 So the Grammy is supposed to be the most notorious award show, right? And for some reason, they have a major lacking as far as actual cultural relevance, right? Because the VMAs in 2019, they Benz saw that K-pop was going crazy. So they was like, you know what, let's implement categories to represent them, right? Because back then, obviously, BTS wasn't going to, they wasn't going to be up in arms about that because, well, pun intended. Because of course, when you look at it, 2019, I mean, they was doing a thing, but they took on, they had a whole hiatus from like 2018, I believe, to 2026. So let me make sure, because they had individual outputs as far as Junkook, as far as V, as far as, what was the other members? There was V, Junkook, it's all type of other members.
Starting point is 02:08:26 I'll forget some of them. But let me see. As far as Jay Hope, I can't even forget Jay Hope. Didn't he have that track with a Jermaine, J.Maine Cole? So anyways, the last album, the last album was, it says it was proof. I don't know if that was actually it. So, yeah, I think it was proof. So a four-year hiatus, right?
Starting point is 02:08:46 Proof came out June 10th, 2022. And Arby Rain came out 20, March 20th. So basically, VMAs was on the ball early, right? 2019 introduced K-pop Asian-related categories. So if Grammys would have did it any of these other years instead of the year that they had their biggest output, I think the Army wouldn't be so upset.
Starting point is 02:09:09 But because you chose BTS' most successful year to implement the K-pop-slash-Asian-related categories when, objectively speaking, they could have won album of the year. They could have at least been a contender for song of the year. So it's almost as if you're trying to exclude them from the general main awards and give them their own subsection award wins just so you can snub them when it comes to the best album, the song of the year, etc.
Starting point is 02:09:38 So that's why it's so upsetting for BTS fans because you waited to the biggest year to implement these changes. If you would have did any of these other years like these other award shows are doing, then you would have been fine. But of course, you wanted to act like, oh, we're ahead of the curve, and that's why we're implementing this. No, my brother, you was trying to snub BTS. Somebody had to say it.
Starting point is 02:09:58 You guys. See, that's the problem. So anyways, what that being said. Let's get back into his statement. So the CEO went on to say that the Asian pop category was created to celebrate depth, diversity, and extraordinary growth of pop artists coming out of Asia. The spirit of this new category is to shine a dedicated spotlight
Starting point is 02:10:18 on these important artists. More categories mean more artists' work is recognized is never to divide. but to expand who is recognized by our 15,000 Grammy voters. I also want to be very clear. Submitting music in a genre category such as Asian, pop, or jazz, or country, does not exclude an artist from also submitting and being considered in a general field of categories, including record of the year, album of the year, and song of the year.
Starting point is 02:10:47 Those categories remain open to any eligible recording regardless of genre. recognition in a genre category and recognition in the general field or not mutually exclusive and artists can absolutely pursue both now of course that's a phenomenal and that's a phenomenal statement until you realize they had years to do this ladies and gentlemen and they implemented this right when bt s had the strongest consideration or the strongest possibility of winning album song of the year etc right so if you don't know And a lot of industry sources will tell you this. So it's not like I'm making this up.
Starting point is 02:11:28 But when it comes to winning a Grammy, there are a lot of politics behind the scenes. Now, obviously, music has to be a certain level of quality. But of course, as far as the voting aspect, as far as connections, as far as behind the scenes, handshakes, there's a lot of things that's already known, such as if you don't perform, if you don't show up to the Grammys,
Starting point is 02:11:45 you're probably not going to win the award. I mean, people know that, right? So, with that being said, if you already know that, Now you know, when it comes to the performance aspect, it adds another layer of maybe next year getting a more incentive of winning certain awards, especially if your album or song is already high quality. So you do have to perform a song and dance to win these type of Grammy awards. And it's more politics than you would realize, which is why a lot of artists like Drake the weekend, they basically withdrew even being considered. They don't even want to be considered. They don't even want to submit to music because of the politics that goes on behind the scenes.
Starting point is 02:12:21 So it's not like Grammys is just so innocent implementing this Asian pop-related category. No, they waited to the year that BTS can actually win an album of the year. And they was like, no, we got to find a way to snub them expeditiously. So anyways, that's the biggest thing I wanted to get into. When it comes to BTS versus the Grammys, it's very much a huge story. Like, this is going to be a big deal. And I wouldn't be surprised if certain talks I have behind the scene, because it can't happen publicly, right? Because then they're going to be like, oh, inside the trade and things of that nature.
Starting point is 02:12:54 But I want to be surprised if certain talks happen behind the scenes to lead BTS to resubmitting their music, because I think the Grammys do want to recognize BTS. But do they want to give them album a year? Do they want to give them song of the year? I think not. I think BTS having zero wins, multiple nominations, right? But zero wins up to this point is very telling. And now where Ari Rang having the biggest impact of 2026 out the gate. If you don't know, as far as the top five albums of 2026, Arby Rank is number one by far with $641,000 out the gate. Of course, it's been selling tremendously since then.
Starting point is 02:13:36 As of right now, currently speaking, Rie Rank is the eighth most played album in the world and it's already been out for months. So now when you look at the singles, mind you, BTS is a K-pop group, meaning they have their own metrics. But of course, as far as the skewed metrics for the in-state artists, they're still charting. As Swim is the 85th most play track in the world.
Starting point is 02:13:59 And normal, it's the 33-most play track in the world. So the main reason why I'm bringing these statistics up is because BTS is not just some obscure artists that's just having their co-like following. No, they're notoriously affecting every single country. And they're one of the biggest artists in the world. If you talk about the top five artists in the world, as of right now, you have to put BTS name in there or you do not know ball. You know what I'm saying? You just don't know the music industry. As once again, getting back into the top five first week sales of 2026, which doesn't tell the whole picture, but I just told you that BTS album R-R-Ring is the eighth most play album in the world.
Starting point is 02:14:37 So outside of the tremendous start of 641,000 first-week sales, which is number one, by far, right? Olivia Rodriguez is number two with $485,000. Drake is number three with 463,000. Harry Stiles is number four with 430,000. And of course, Noah Kahan is number five with 389,000. The main reason why we're even talking about BTS in this light, as far as them going up against the Grammys, is because their notorious mass effect seemingly is going to be subverted
Starting point is 02:15:10 by Grammys just now implementing these Asian categories, when they had all the time in the world to implement these Asian K-pop categories. But they waited to the year that BTS had the most successful year with Ari Rain. And of course, don't even get me started with the World Tour. Grossing $204 million,
Starting point is 02:15:30 selling $1.1 million turkeys per show, 20 plus shows. I mean, literally the biggest monthly group growth since box score tracking began. BTS is ultimately the big as notorious mass effector in the music industry. And I have to say this because I cover sales all the time,
Starting point is 02:15:51 just because you sell a lot. Does not mean you make the highest quality product and just because you don't sell does not mean you're making abysmal garbage. The tune do not correlate. But of course, whenever you have CEOs coming out like this giving statements because BTS withdrew their music from the Grammys,
Starting point is 02:16:06 you actually start to see through the smoking mirrors whenever you look deeper into why they are actually having to come out and say something in the first place. if BTS would have announced this and none of the tracks like if aliens would have wanted to have went number one if they didn't already have the eighth most play album in the world
Starting point is 02:16:22 currently I think Grammys would have been like well you know what forget BTS you know what just let them do the thing in the own corner but now you can't even deny BTS BTS is so big that you're going to have to give them one of the major awards as far as for the following Grammy Award show
Starting point is 02:16:40 and the reason why this implementation of the Asian K-pop category is so big is because it's like you're trying to politically subvert the notorious mass effect by saying, oh, you had the best Asian album, but not overall, which is just unfortunate, which is why a lot of these pop acts
Starting point is 02:16:56 start to boycott the Grammys, because they see through the tactics, they see through the song and dance you have to do, the smoking mirrors you have to have, the ultimate playing in your face that the Grammys do time and time again, and then they act like, you know what, we're not doing anything,
Starting point is 02:17:13 we're innocent. So that's why I wanted to point this out. This is why I wanted to cover BTS versus the Grammys because it's just a lot to get into when you come to BTS and notorious Mass Effect, being one of the biggest groups of all time and still having zero Grammy wins, which ultimately
Starting point is 02:17:29 leads into my next point. I say time and time again that the Grammys is not validation for quality music, right? Basically, the Grammys is a political way of showing you that critics and fans love your music, but I think it's way more important for your fans, and
Starting point is 02:17:45 to enjoy your content, then some type of random award show voted on by people who are out of touch. So, that being said, that's the main thing I want to get into. You know, I'm very passionate about BTS in general, because I've been covering K-pop. I cover all genres, but of course, whenever notorious Mass Effect got to a point where it's like, it's bigger than me, right? I made sure to all my different pockets of supporters to feed them with certain categories that they enjoy, whether it's my Latin community, which is my biggest, by far, which is, you know, my Drake fans out there.
Starting point is 02:18:18 And of course, the K-pop fans have been supporting tremendously, and all of that cultivates into what notorious Massifix is today. So if I wasn't to shine a light on this, you wouldn't even know it would be happening, right? The amount of disrespect that BTS is going through. And that's just unfortunate. So, let me say, I wonder, was there anything else? I think that was basically there. BTS skipping out on the Grammys is a huge deal
Starting point is 02:18:40 because they had one of the strongest award campaigns possible. They had the highest percentage of even winning or multiple of the major awards. And for this to be the first BTS album in six years and for them to come back and have the first or the most successful album of 2026, it shows you how big they are. And of course, quantity does not equal,
Starting point is 02:19:02 equivalent, it does not equal quality. But of course, when it comes to BTS this Rory ring album, I believe it does. And I believe the album's high quality and it deserves the amount engagement is getting. So with that being said, Grammys, the next Grammys is February 7, 2027. The eligibility period is August 31st to 2025 to August 28th to 2026. The only reason why I say that is because that's the amount of time
Starting point is 02:19:29 that Grammys have to make peace with BTS and talk to them behind the scenes to make them more comfortable to resubmit their music. So with that being said, click my link to share in my bio to follow me on my social media. And of course, if you're a huge BTS fan, let me know Who side are you on as far as BTS or the Grammys? And what do you think the Grammys should do to make BTS reconsider resubmitting the music for the 2027 Grammy Award show? Shepherd, promise me you'll tell them to subscribe for free content. I'm just saying, I told y'all so. Now you probably wonder into yourself.
Starting point is 02:20:08 Or are you even talking about dreams you have even introduce the topic? And ladies and gentlemen, what I'm basically referring to is my sentiment time and time again that Chris Brown is the most talented human I've ever seen on planet Earth. You know what I'm saying? And of course, some will say that's glazing. I just think it's objectively looking at the fact this man can paint, this man can dance, this man can sing, this man can rap, this man can... I was going to say he could play basketball, but whatever.
Starting point is 02:20:41 You know, that may be too much, right? So essentially speaking When you come to This very interesting fiasco As far as Usher and the girls that he Are one of the particular girls that he brought on stage Oh no man I was talking On the world
Starting point is 02:20:56 Don't bring your ass up here if you don't want to be here Usher Hey man I'm trying to do my show man Anyways you know that was Usher Raymond ladies and gentlemen Basically hilariously poking fun at the fact that the last occurrence with one of his people, one of the fans he brought on stage and not go as well.
Starting point is 02:21:18 Let's just put it like that. So analytic dreams video on Spotify to see the video along with the audio because ladies and gentlemen, we have a lot to get into in Exhibit. You know what I'm saying? We got to play this on mute because we do not want any copyright, but Exhibit A. Now, I get you not. I can't even play you what the girls are doing to Chris Brown while he's trying to serenade her, right?
Starting point is 02:21:37 So this is basically Usher realizing at this very moment that he is not Chris Brown, right? And this lady could not be more unenthused, if that's even a word. As you can see right here, she denies him and watch his face. You don't say. You don't say. That man took out his airpiece and everything. Boy, Usher Raymond was not feeling that. I just don't like it, man.
Starting point is 02:22:06 He wasn't feeling that at all. I just don't like that shit, man. Why is he so sweaty? Shut. All right, my fault. You know, this is actually safe. Look, look at the hand mode. She's talking off the stage.
Starting point is 02:22:16 Look, I'm saying. Oh, my goodness. But then, you know what I'm saying? I was like, damn, look at the state of hip hop. Like, what's going on? So that lady get off the stage. Bro, he ain't even, bro. That's unfortunate.
Starting point is 02:22:26 I wonder what he did after that. What he did? He saw singing again? Look, he's, he's just frozen. He was like, hey, bro. Did he pick somebody else? Anyways, that's hilarious, right? The main reason why that's hilarious is,
Starting point is 02:22:40 because I can't even show you what the ladies are doing to Chris Brown. You know what I'm saying? Shepard. No, because what they are doing to Chris Brown during his serenading segments, right? It's so R-rated to the point where I can't even show you what's going on. I can't show you what's going on. See, that's the problem. Just let it be known.
Starting point is 02:22:59 That has never happened to Chris Brown, right? And if it has, it would have blew up like it is right now, because this is one of the talk of the towns as far as people talking about how this lady had the nerve, the audacity, mitigated goal to go up there and front and usher's face like that i know that ain't who i think it is so of course i wanted to use this as a hilarious moment right but i also wanted to talk about the successful tour that's going on between usher and rich uhher and chris brown because over here we do cover the gaming and music i piece that notoriously affect the masses but finally i was able to dive into some of the
Starting point is 02:23:35 drama while also giving you some informative info on the back end so with that being said uh ladies and and of course one of the most drama-infested platforms ever. TMZ, you already know they had to come out scorching hot with the in-person interview with the person that turned down Usher. Because if you don't know, her name, before we get into the TMZ interview, the snippet, right? Her name basically is Cheyenne, I believe. So Usher was at Nissan Stadium in Nashville
Starting point is 02:24:02 and basically brought a fan on stage. And was that the right place? I don't know if that was the right place. Let me see. So I'm trying to see what her name was. Okay, here we go. So you have Cheyenne, a 24-year-old nurse. Why, they got her whole occupation.
Starting point is 02:24:17 Goodness gracious. Anyways, that's how you boy do research. So anyways, during the serenading portion of Usher's, you know, tour or, you know, show, as I already shown you as far as the video, the Chattanooga, Tennessee resident as far as Gabrieo. She went up there and obviously she was not pleased, right? She was increasingly stiff and uncomfortable. And then after that, Chris Brown said, I mean, Usher said, I don't think she want to be on the stage. I just plagued you that and then the motion heard to get off, right?
Starting point is 02:24:46 So all you need to know is her name is Gabrielle Cheyenne, and that is pertinent information for what's about to follow. So once again, analytic dreams video on Spotify to see the video along with the audio. Way I see it, there are two people. There's Usher and Chris Brown. Uh-oh. He's doing the science. That means that you were banking on Chris Brown and you got Usher and you would have been more into it with Chris Brown.
Starting point is 02:25:10 But then, you know what I'm saying? I was like, damn, look at the state of hip hop. Like, what's going on? Just another example. You know what I'm saying? Shepard. No, it's just another example on how your boy dreams be telling you all that these talented individuals is not the same.
Starting point is 02:25:23 They're not human, right? So whenever you want an actual live performance from a particular human that's an artist, you go to usher, right? But if you want some extraordinary, you know, you don't want to, like I said, the clips of the Chris Brown's ceremony. moments is ungodly to the point I can't even put on the screen. But here is the girl in 4K, in 4K telling you that she wanted Chris Brown over Usher.
Starting point is 02:25:46 This is the clearest video I've ever seen. This is the most HD shit ever. You know what I'm saying? This is crazy. How did they get you in 4K? I know Usher was watching this video saying to himself. I know that ain't who I think it is. So here we go.
Starting point is 02:25:59 You would have been more into it with Chris Brown. Am I reading this right? Me solely, I went to the concert for Chris Brown. Honestly, man. Man, W. honesty, man. Somebody had to do it, you know what I'm saying? W. honesty. Nothing against Usher or anything like that,
Starting point is 02:26:15 but I'm more of a Chris Brown fan than I am of Usher. So, of course, it would have been a different reaction with Chris Brown. It wouldn't be. What's she said? But then, you know what I'm saying? I was like, damn, look at... Against Usher or anything like that, but I'm more of a Chris Brown fan. Nothing gets Usher.
Starting point is 02:26:37 I just don't think you as dope as the other artist you're on tour with. Then I am of Usher. So, of course, it would have been a different reaction. It would have been a way different reaction. If you're old, I mean, if you were not on stage and Chris Brown was, it would have been a way different reaction if I was with Chris Brown instead of you. With Chris Brown, it wouldn't have been the stiffness or whatever. The internet is portraying.
Starting point is 02:27:03 That's unfortunate, man. That is unfortunate, man. I just don't like it. Imagine being as talented at usher. I just don't like that shit, man. and realizing that you can still get played with like this. But then, you know what I'm saying? I was like, Tim, look at this.
Starting point is 02:27:15 Just imagine because Usher's talented in itself. You know, it's not like I need to let you know how talented Usher is. I know I'm joking around talking about Chris Brown is definitely more talented. But in totality, even when you look at the objective metrics, Usher's never been on a stadium tour. I don't know if that's news to the older crowd out there. But dare I say, Chris Brown's doing him a favor? I'm just saying, you know, when you look at it,
Starting point is 02:27:40 objectively speaking, Usher has never headlined a full stadium world tour. Objectively speaking, right? Eight more than 92. That's what I'm trying to keep it. So now when you look at Chris Brown, he just came off the Breezy Bowl. This was last year.
Starting point is 02:27:55 It's not like, oh, Chris Brown falling off, so now he needs a pair up with Usher. It's almost like it's the other way of- So basically, Chris Brown had this thing called the Breezy Bowl. I don't know if he heard of it. It happened 2025, a whole stadium tour. Guess who was on it? It was Chris Brown.
Starting point is 02:28:11 If you wanted somebody else, it was sold at Chris Brown three to four hours show. I kid you not. And with the whole solo stadium tour, right, in 2025, mind you. It grows $295 to $298 million. $1.9 to $2.06 million tickets sold, right? 49 to 52 shows. I know some people say he'd be off the, but obviously he got to be a functional because at the end of the day, this is insane. and it ended up being objectively speaking, once again,
Starting point is 02:28:45 my subjective bias to thinking Chris Brown's the most talented artist ever to the side, right? Putting that to the side. Objectively speaking, the breezy bowl was Chris Brown's highest grossing tour in the highest by a solo black American male artist to date. So I know people look at Usher Lane the foundation for Chris Brown, which he definitely did, but it's almost like with the goat said. Is it okay, I got my dope on me? Breaking speed records on.
Starting point is 02:29:14 rows that these old heads paved and they don't like that, right? I think when it comes to Usher and Chris Brown, they have a very friendly relationship. So it's no animosity like some of the top rappers, aka Drake and Jay-Z. You know, they have a lot of animosity. You ever heard that pound cake freestyle? Shepard. All right, my fault. I'm just saying that verse.
Starting point is 02:29:32 It's almost like he hate Drake. Anyways, what that being said. Usher, Chris Brown, they have a great relationship. So this is not, oh, Usher having animosity towards Chris Brown. This is just the objective facts of you never be in. on a stadium world tour like this, so you may run into this type of scenario. Chris Brown has all type of things going on right now that could be newsworthy as far as being detrimental to the tour.
Starting point is 02:29:55 For this to be the main thing that people are talking about, I think it's a W. As it only helps with engagement. And of course, once again, the girls are going to come out to showcase that that was a flute, that was a one-off, and we really do love you, as this girl showed right here. Once again, Analytic Dreams video on Spotify to see the video along with the audio. Because as you can see right now, this girl obviously got the memo. You know what I'm saying? This girl obviously got the memo.
Starting point is 02:30:20 This is the day or this is the first show after Usher got horrendously rejected, right? So the next show, right after that, this is the girl coming up for the serenading portion. Look at Usher. He's like, oh, was it going to happen this time? And she's going to be enthused this time? Look at Usher. He's like, oh, my goodness. I don't even know.
Starting point is 02:30:41 Well, let me see what? Did he say something? Okay, I don't know. He ain't say, no, that boy, happy. He's like, I finally got somebody in the tree, but like Chris Brown. Anyways, um, so as you can see right here, she comes on stage and she's having a tremendous time, right? She's getting her hair ready. She got the outfit of, you know, so you know, you, y'all, you know, this is a PG podcast. I'm not even going to get into the outfit and what that could be represented as far as the intentions. All I'm going to say is, she was very much enthused, right? Usher's walking up and off the gate, I mean, off the bat. Boy, boy, you, you guys.
Starting point is 02:31:11 I know that ain't who I think. See, that's the problem. Y'all don't even want to know what they'd be doing to Chris Brown. But obviously this is way better than the last girl, right? She's definitely showcasing that she's enjoying it. Look at Usher. He's like, oh, my goodness, somebody finally enjoys. Somebody finally enjoys my serenading moments of my tour.
Starting point is 02:31:26 You know, he just can't make it out. But then, you know what I'm saying? I was like, dude, look at the state of hip hop. Like, what's going on? So that being said, Usher was definitely thoroughly enjoyed, enjoying it. And, of course, I think she took the cherry here. Here we go. So here it is.
Starting point is 02:31:37 She's taking the cherry, the infamous cherry from Usher, boy. And yep, all righty. you know hopefully she does not have a boyfriend that's all i got to say about that so that being said um this is more of a drama infused type of segment and the reason why i wanted to have that is because of course i had the informative aspect as far as showcasing the usher and chris brown tour how this is uh usher's first i keep saying that this is usher's first stadium world tour ever so that means that um shout to chris brown for putting on for the old heads out there you know what i'm saying at least somebody can give the respect to usher to be like, you know what?
Starting point is 02:32:15 You ain't never been on a stadium tour? Come here, man. Come with me. I'm going to help you out. You know what I'm saying? As this tour is doing phenomenal. As when you look at the sales specifically, oh, I guess it's too early. It's way too early to know the in-depth sales.
Starting point is 02:32:30 But as of right now, it is performing well, strong demand, engagement. But of course, no official numbers as is ongoing. It just started this year. So what that means to say, I think that was basically, of course, Chayin's boyfriend came out of nowhere. Who in the world is this man? Who in the actual? I know that ain't who I think it is.
Starting point is 02:32:47 And he said, Usher ain't got nothing on me. If y'all can't see, y'all see my cursor, look at this at the bottom. He said, Usher ain't got nothing on me. And he said, I let her go on that stage. I just don't like it. That's unfortunate, man. I just don't like that shit. Hey, man, somebody said him the TMZ interview when his girlfriend was saying she wanted Chris Brown.
Starting point is 02:33:06 My father, that's a player hating, ain't it? All right. So with that been said, there was something else I was on the show. Was that it? Oh yeah, here is TMZ, BMSI once again, saying that Chris Brown fan rises him at the same show that she got shut down. Oh my goodness, right. Like literally, I can't even show you how they be treating Chris Brown, but this is why I can show you right here. This is probably Usher watching Chris Brown getting treated during his serenading portions versus his. Like Usher's serenating portions of his show compared to Chris Brown.
Starting point is 02:33:43 I mean, it's just totally different. I mean, okay, I'm at to show you all. You know what I'm saying? No, I got to show them because they're not going to believe me. This is what's happening at these Chris Brown serenading moments. Like, I kid you not. I'm going to put this up for five seconds and hopefully I don't get them monetized. Because this is insane right here, boy, like this is.
Starting point is 02:33:59 Ain't no way she got a boyfriend. Boy, ain't no way. I kid you not. I know that ain't who I think of it is. Ain't no way. This is every single girl that comes up there. I should ain't doing none of this, by the way. I should not doing any of this.
Starting point is 02:34:10 All right, I'm taking that off the screen. That's egregious. So anyways, if you wanted to know how Chris Brown is feeling, let's just say he's having a blast. And Usher is probably watching through the window like this whenever the Chris Brown serenading portions come on because they're not treating him like that. They treat him like this, man.
Starting point is 02:34:29 Unfortunate, man. Saddened history, man. That's the problem right there. That's what I just say. Unfortunate. So hopefully y'all enjoyed this little drama field segment. At the end of day, you know, I did give you some informative tidbit.
Starting point is 02:34:42 as far as the tour and how this is ushers first ever world stadium world tour by the way so with that being said click my link to show you in my bio to follow me on my social medias and of course if you're on spotify do you believe that usher could bounce back in a way of having more publicity as far as as chris brown because it seems like chris brown's outshining him on his own tour so what do you think usher should do to have a better performance or seemingly better performance than chris brown on the joint R&B tour. Getting into the overview for episode 163, which of course is titled,
Starting point is 02:35:21 BTS joins the Grammy non-submission list. Hold on up now. I know that ain't who I think it is. Are the Grammys losing the biggest stars of music? You guys. See, that's the problem. So obviously, when it comes to the drama portion of episode 163,
Starting point is 02:35:39 this is the first time where it ended up in the actual title, because I think this is a huge deal. And when it comes to Grammy specifically, they are looking at a very interesting problem that is increasingly becoming more and more potent as the biggest stars in music are starting to be like, hey, we don't need to submit on music
Starting point is 02:35:58 because we already solidified. I was like, hold up now. Is it okay? I got my dope on me. Did my goat start a trend? Shepard. All right, my fault. You know, when it comes to the weekend, comes to Drake, comes to BTS,
Starting point is 02:36:09 I mean, that's the star-studied list of artists not even submitting their music for the Grammys. And I even talk about how Morgan Wallen is quote unquote blackball from the Grammys as he doesn't even submit his music anymore. He was just like, hey man, forget that war show. You know what I'm saying? They don't want to acknowledge I have one of the biggest notorious mass effects in music. So that list is growing extensive, extensive.
Starting point is 02:36:33 You know, and I think Grammys is facing a very huge problem, which is why it's the title. and of course why BTS is the cover of the music portion once again because they didn't drop any new music it's just BTS versus Grammys is a huge deal in my opinion but of course we started off with Beyonce's husband
Starting point is 02:36:52 you know what I'm saying? I mean Sean Carter also known as Jay Z ladies and gentlemen yeah we started off with Jay Z as if you don't know he broke all type of records during his three-night residency and when it comes
Starting point is 02:37:07 to that we dive deep into Jay Z's impact as far as the year of 2026 and just how longevity is the epitome of what Jay-Z is showcasing which is why we give him all the flowers in the world. And of course we get into his wife, Beyonce also making a notorious mass effect as if you don't know,
Starting point is 02:37:27 her track Morning Dew is doing phenomenal right now and of course Jay-Z had to hop on and one being Beyonce's husband but also recognizing that with him being active, I think this is the perfect track to hop on as this specific track, if it will pop up, is currently the 44th most played track in the world
Starting point is 02:37:47 as far as the Morning Dew track from Beyonce. Now, the remix is not charting, but when it comes to the original track, Morning Do, currently the 44th most played track in the world. So we get into that and talk about how Beyonce is also the epitome of longevity in the music industry and how she's notoriously affecting the masses. And then, of course, we got into somebody else.
Starting point is 02:38:06 I know that ain't who I think it is. As I always talk about, talk about how Future is one of the most respect to artists in the hip-hop genre. You know what I'm saying? Is it okay? I got my dope on me. Made that specific track that notoriously affecting the masses with Ran to Atlanta. That's currently his highest charting track, which leads me into my next point.
Starting point is 02:38:24 Ran to Atlanta being the 80th most played track in the world. And then you come to realize that none of his tracks from his album that he just released is on the charts. Granted, his album is still doing fairly well, not too well, but fairly. well as is currently the 21st most played album in the world, but then you look at future his impact, his effect of the masses as far as culture, and wonder why his album just came and went. So that's a very interesting subject matter. I don't know if I want to get into it right now because I already talked about it extensively, but of course that's what we get into in that specific segment.
Starting point is 02:39:02 So if you want to hear me to talk more about that, you could just go to the future segment that we had or just, you know, of course it's in this episode. So with that been said, then we cover a plethora of FIFA artists. As if you don't know, the FIFA World Cup halftime show was the first time ever as far as the final game having a halftime show. And I broke down the history behind that, why it took so long to have a halftime show for the final World Cup game. And, of course, talked about I Show Speed, which had a FIFA song. Shakira and Burner Boy, they had a FIFA song. BTS showed up for the FIFA World Cup halftime show, Justin Bieber.
Starting point is 02:39:35 I mean, it would start study. So we get into the entire. lineup. And then of course we began to Gracie Abrams as she had an album titled Daughter from Hell I know what you're probably saying. I know that ain't who I think it is. I thought this was a PG podcast
Starting point is 02:39:49 Dreams. Well technically it is but when you look at Gracie Abrams I mean that's what she chose to title her album. So Daughter from Hell is the album from Gracie Abrams is doing phenomenal and as of right now I believe it's still highly charting I believe
Starting point is 02:40:05 oh it's not highly charting. Okay so it kind of stopped a little bit. 24th most play album in the world as far as Gracie's album, daughter from hell. And then you look at her track, her most popular track as of right now has hit the wall, which is the 48th most play track in the world. And then of course, that ends our music coverage and then we again to the industry news with Drake executive producing Nero Man. So you know, that's just my goat, you know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 02:40:31 Is it okay? I got my dope on me. As, you know, there was a little show that he executive produced. called Euphoria, you know what I'm saying? Shephed. All right, my fault, I just thought they needed to know. You know, if they want to know how deep my goat's bag gets when it comes to executive producing, just know Euphoria was executive produced by Drake. So anyways, here's another show that he's executive producing.
Starting point is 02:40:52 It's a sci-fi TV series titled Neuromancer. So we can answer that. And of course, that leads me into another inspiration for my goat, which is Michael Jackson, as that biopic reached number one and broke all type of records as it was Lions Gates first one billion dollar film insane so along with the Michael biopic number one it being Lions Gates first one billion dollar film ever you already know that they are going to make that Michael sequel expeditiously because the amount of revenue that's been garnered and of course just out of the blue I had to
Starting point is 02:41:30 throw my Charlemagne Illuminati review for the book because I personally read it and I thoroughly enjoyed it. As of course you already know I'm passionate about superheroes which of course comes from the high quality superhero content in my opinion comes from the common books and with Charlemagne also being the superhero
Starting point is 02:41:49 fans already explaining his love for X-Men and the characters such as his storm and things of that nature. I believe when you look at the Charlemagne Illuminati book it's a very solid start to what could be an interesting future for that
Starting point is 02:42:05 specific Illuminati series. But as of right now, I think it's solid. I get into the statistical accomplishments, who's behind the book. And, of course, I get my personal review. So with that being said, then we transition into Power World. As far as our gaming lineup, I'm not going to lie, Nintendo. You really did your thing with the lineup for this episode. No cap.
Starting point is 02:42:27 You know what I'm saying? As you look at Nintendo, and not only do they have multiple games. on the gaming list for episode 163 but of course you look at console it's not too many console games on here it's because of the sports conundrum that I believe they're facing and they don't even know it as $70 to $100 every single year for the same game with little updates I think you should just make it a lot of service I mean fortnight's shown the model more of a rivals have shown the model if you
Starting point is 02:43:01 aren't changing the game exponentially as far as the graphics fixing things in that nature. You should just make it a live service model if you're just updating the numbers on players' backs and updating the type of teams they play for. You know what I'm saying? It's basically a live service, in my opinion. So I kind of get into that when I talk about why I don't have certain ball games on my list for episode 163. And it's just because it really doesn't affect the gaming culture. Now, of course, the industry, revenue-wise, it definitely affects. But as far as the culture, these are the games that affect affecting the culture, such as Power World, Shout to Power World, which is the cover
Starting point is 02:43:37 at the gaming portion of this episode as not only have they made history with the early version of Power World, but even with the 1.0 official release, they still are making history as they are currently still the third most play game on Steam. So shout out to them for that. And they are just notoriously
Starting point is 02:43:53 affecting the masses in a way of the Nintendo dislike because Nintendo's probably looking at Power World success. They're looking at the upcoming card game, and they're just saying to themselves, you know what I'm saying? I just don't like it, man You know Nintendo don't like that
Starting point is 02:44:08 I just don't like that shit man That is currently what Nintendo is saying As Power World is currently Having one of the biggest effect In a mass You know Having a big is notorious mass effect In the gaming industry
Starting point is 02:44:21 So shout out to Power World for that And then some of the other games we get into Is of course the multiple Nintendo games we get into Is the rhythm having groove We get into the mobile game A King Shot We get into the console game The Mount Omen
Starting point is 02:44:35 We get into once again The Nintendo game as far as Splaatoon Raiders. So shout to Nintendo for really showing up and having culturally relevant games in the month of July. And of course, you already know what time it is, you know. It's time for a rap battle. As technically, it's not a rap battle. But the battle between artists and the Grammys is increasingly becoming more prevalent as BTS just joined the extensive and star-studied, non-submission list as they, believe that the Grammys is sliding them by adding an Asian category in the year.
Starting point is 02:45:13 This is the most important part in the year that they can end up winning best album, best song as far as the overall general genre, like the top three awards as far as best album, best song. I forget the other one. But basically, I think BTS with their album Rory rang, having objectively speaking the biggest first week sales in the year of 2026, I think they have the highest potential of winning the big overall
Starting point is 02:45:41 awards. And for this year to implement the Asian categories is very interesting because past award shows have been implemented Asian award shows categories and BTS didn't complain. It's because it's this year that they're having the highest possibility of winning the actual
Starting point is 02:45:57 album of the year's song of the year award and now they come with Asian categories. So that's interesting. So anyways, BTS joined the ever-growing list as far as the star-studied non-submission artists. If you don't know, Drake doesn't submit to the Grammys anymore. The weekend doesn't submit. Morgan Wallen was low-key blackball, but his team came out, so they don't even submit.
Starting point is 02:46:20 So now with BTS, I mean, you do have some of the top-tier artists in the game, not just legacy acts or acts that are falling off, acts that are top chart-topping and are going to be around for quite some time, not submitting their music for Grammy consideration. I think Grammys could end up just doing a way where all you have to submit and they could just nominate you even if you don't submit. Like they could say, oh, we'll make exceptions for certain artists. Wink, wink, wink.
Starting point is 02:46:47 So they got to get around this problem because if they're getting ignored by the top artists in the music industry, it's definitely going to be a problem because it'd be different if all of these artists wasn't going to be like the top musicians for the next five years. Like, BTS, Morgan, Wallen, drank the weekend. they're not going anywhere. So with that being said, that is why the ultimate question for this episode is,
Starting point is 02:47:08 are the Grammys losing the biggest stars of music? And of course, you know, a little comedic drama, you know what I'm saying? I know that ain't who I think of it is. As when it comes to Usher versus Chris Brown, technically they're not beefing,
Starting point is 02:47:20 but when it comes to the interesting aspects of the perception of Usher's on stage performance and the perception of Chris Brown's on stage performance on the same tour, mind you, it just seems like Usher is repeatedly going through scenarios where everybody's poking fun at him. So we talk about that in the Usher versus Chris Brown. Of course, we talk about the girl that was not interested at all when Usher was dancing on her. And I kid you not, we literally played a video on the segment.
Starting point is 02:47:48 She said, I would have preferred Chris Brown. I was like, ain't no way. I was like, ain't no way, bro. Amongst all the other things that Usher's been facing, people have been saying he's been cloned, people who are seeing his whole butt on when he was getting up. from bed on like his performance it was just all type of stuff going on and then the cap it off with the woman saying that she rejected on stage mind you she looked disinterested to the point when usher had to you know basically walked away he was like okay i don't think she wants to be on stage
Starting point is 02:48:17 and she would remove right and then TMZ reviewed her because you know they're petty and the lady literally said i would have preferred it was chris brown i was like bro usher just going through it right now boy you guys i was like see that's the power i know i know i don't know, I say Chris Brown's the most talented musician I've ever seen. But when you look at the way the Usher's being treated on the same tour, I just don't.
Starting point is 02:48:42 You know, I just don't like it, bro. I just don't like it. Y'all stop doing that to Usher Raymond, bro. I just don't like that shit, man. You know what I'm saying? That man talented, too, bro. Anyways, this is what that being said. That is about it for an episode
Starting point is 02:48:56 for the notorious mass effect, episode 162. And of course, the title, once again was BTS joins the Grammy non-submission list are the Grammys losing the biggest stars in music. So once again, thanks for tuning in to the notorious
