So getting into the savior of gaming once again, not only did he have a tennis video game revealed.
Not only did he kick off the Nintendo Switch 2 with the Mario Kart World.
But here we are with the latest trailer for the next installment of the Super Mario movie franchise.
Shepard, just look at the state of gaming.
Like, what is going on?
I love where the state of gaming is in 2025 as far as the movie.
industry because no matter what you think about Minecraft, no matter what you think about the original
Mario movie, it successfully drove people to the movie theaters, which seemingly other genres are
having a hard time accomplishing that same feat. You guys, see, that's the problem. So when it comes
to this announcement for the Super Mario Galaxy movie is no surprise as you already knew a next
a sequel to the last Mario,
the Super Mario Bros movie,
which came out in 2020,
if you want to feel kind of old.
I mean,
two years later, it's crazy.
But the next installment of,
you know,
the sequel following that movie
will be set in the galaxy.
So very interesting
because, of course,
I don't think I've really played
any Mario games as far as galaxy.
Obviously, I play Mario 64
and all the platforming games
as far as on the Nintendo 3DS.
But as far as the Galaxy games,
I don't know why.
they just never intrigued me like that and also you know with the we exclusive back then you know
they have the funds to have just multiple consoles to play those type of game so i never really got
into galaxy like that but i think this premise could be an interesting one because the main thing i
think when it comes to this nintendo can easily pull what marvel did leading up to infinity war and
in game sonic is already having tremendous success in the box office mario's first movie whether you think
is trash or quality had tremendous success in the box office the next up as far as that franchise
would probably be Zelda i would think and Pokemon actually even Pokemon it wasn't a detective
Pikachu already had a successful i think that was successful movie i'm not sure but leading up to a
super mario or not a super smash bros type of movie i think could be the ultimate roadmap for
Nintendo replicating such a lucrative pathway that MCU already laid the groundwork for as far as
as in-game and Infinity War. I haven't seen a franchise really execute that like Marvel did,
ever as far as a 10-year roadmap leading up into in-game and Infinity War. I think Nintendo
could do it with Mario, Sonic, Pikachu, Legend of Zelda. Even though I did hear the Legend
of Zelda is going to be live action, which, why not just follow the formula?
make it, um, animated like the video games.
But anyways, that's what's disappointing.
So now we're going to get into the official teaser for the Super Mario Galaxy movie.
Make sure to go to Analytic Dreams video on Spotify to see the video along with the audio
because we're about to get into the Super Mario Galaxy movie official title announcement.
All right now.
Okay.
Look at our graphics moment.
That's pretty solid.
That's all it was 51 seconds, but I thought that was going to show at least something.
That was a bunch of nothing.
But, I mean, we basically got an announcement, so it does say official title announcement,
so it doesn't say, technically, it doesn't say trailer.
So, hey, I mean, I guess I got that going for it.
Mario is voice acted by Chris Pratt, if you don't know.
Princess Peach is voiced by Anya Taylor Joy.
Is that who I think it is?
Hold on Anna Taylor Joy.
Oh, no, I'll stick it to somebody else.
Okay.
And then Luigi's voice acted by Charlie Day, Bowser, of course, hilariously, voice acted by Jack
Black, because if you don't know.
Jack Black, which I also covered on my podcast,
when I covered that, because that went crazy.
No, wasn't that one.
It wasn't that one either.
I went to wear him.
I think it was May 9th, right?
Mario, I'm trying to see when I cover that.
I definitely covered that track,
but I don't know why it's not popping up.
Anyways, I covered Bowser and his track titled Peaches.
And that one did Fantastic on my podcast to the point where I was thinking to the point.
I was like, wow, Jack Black is a immensely talented man
because this man be in every single movie possible.
And for him to have a hit like that called Peaches,
and just to give you a little inclination
of what the song was about, I mean, he was going crazy.
And a donkey come to a thousand troops of cupas couldn't keep me from here.
Hey, that man spitting.
The man going crazy.
Hey, that man will snap.
Hey, that's what you call bars right there.
You know what I'm saying?
I was like, damn, look at the state of hip hop.
Like, what's going on?
That man was snapping on that track.
But, you know, that's what happened on the original Mario movie.
Y'all probably even forgot about that.
Yeah, Jack Black, that man talented.
Ain't a lot to you.
Like, as far as in 2025, going viral on my podcast as far as the reaction for Minecraft,
not knowing that Steve was Jack Black,
24, going viral for his peaches track as far as from Bowser.
I don't know why it's not pulling up.
Let me see if I can pull it up on here.
Because I know I, I mean, obviously it was on my analytics,
but I was trying to pull it up by Bowser, Jack Black or what?
Bowser, Jack Black, analytic dreams.
Let me see if that pops up.
Can I pull myself up?
Pause?
Let me see Jack Black.
No, I don't think I don't think it's going to pop up.
But yeah, anyways, I remember covering that track.
And I think it was during my whole Mario movie review,
because I had a whole Super Mario Bros.
movie review.
Because of course, you know, Mario is the savior of gaming, so of course I was going to review
the movie.
Because I remember, yeah, April 16, 2023, I talked about the Super Mario, Mario's World movie
passing 500 million, goodness, globally.
And then becoming the biggest video game adaption ever.
Shepard, just look at the state of gaming.
Like, what is going on?
Y'all may think I'd be glazed as Mario on this podcast, but it's the reason I gave him
to credit dude because that man really he really is the definition of engagement so anyways um yeah safe to
say Mario had a huge notorious mass effect uh especially with his original movie and of course
jack black went crazy as far as his specific uh track title uh peaches so covering that was uh a joy
because that was that was not expected i did not think he was going to give us a grammy worthy type of
performance in a video game movie.
So anyways, I wanted to transition from that and dive a little bit into the Super
Mario Galaxy 2 review because of course they try to capitalize off of the title announcement.
So they were showcasing how the Super Mario Galaxy plus Super Mario Galaxy 2 was coming out.
Two Galactic Adventures await.
Super Mario Galaxy plus Super Mario Galaxy 2.
And that's essentially it.
So those are coming out.
That's the main thing that was trying to capitalize off of the movie.
So I was just letting you know that I think they're getting like a remaster version or something like that.
I think the main thing is right here to basically show in gameplay, I think.
Yeah, it's showing gameplay.
So obviously we've seen this before.
Like, look, there's nothing too new, right?
Like, obviously the stuff we've seen before, it was just, I was just basically letting you know that they capitalize off of it by saying it was coming out.
As far as the release day, I don't know if they showed the release day.
They showed a release day?
Yeah, okay, here we go.
October 2nd, 2025.
So this is the bundle.
I would say, you know, definitely look at the price before you buy it.
Shepherd.
Just look at the state of gaming.
Like, what is going on?
Safe to say the physical bundle is a whopping.
$70.
Oh, you want to know when these games came out?
Oh, is that what you asked?
You want to know when these games came out?
Oh, 2007, 2010, ladies and gentlemen.
2025, price ain't went down one bit.
Shepard.
Just look at the state of gaming.
Like, what is going on?
So yeah, you know, when it comes to Nintendo, they have an interesting way of approaching price points, price points.
But like I said, when I talked about the Nintendo price, drop the price movement, it was one of the most ineffective movements of all time.
Because not only did they bend, fold, and break, they also shattered under the pressure of drop the price.
Because when the Nintendo Switch 2 came out, it's so like hotcakes at a point where when I covered it all the way, let me see.
when I covered it back in July 2nd, 2025, Mario Kart World, it was the top selling game for Nintendo Switch
surpassing a major milestone, right? But not only that, Nintendo Switch 2 basically broke all type of
records and set the record as far as out-the-gate sales for a console, selling 3.5 units globally
in 4 days. And then Nintendo stock rose 7.1%. We want to talk about the drop-the-price movement
and how it's one of the worst movements in gaming history i'm not just talking like you know at the end of
day objective metrics is used to to judge engagement and safe to say for people who wanted change
they didn't act on it by banding together and you know hey hopefully i're enjoying that donkey
con and kirby in that 200 million dollar price tag as far as the mario card world but hey to each
your own right so anyways uh the main reason why i said that is because the movie's coming out
movies coming out when's the movie coming out uh let's see super marg oh it was just it was just revealing
the title i think oh no no april 3rd yeah april 3rd 2026 i think that's what's coming out
am i tripping with that let's see it's coming out april 24th and japan so it seems like the release
date is april uh let me just pull this um see i don't know why i just didn't just go back to a trailer
if they, because if y'all don't know, I pull up stuff before I get into these reactions.
Try to give you all a little background knowledge.
You know, try to have a little journalistic integrity.
Not too crazy.
You know, I'm not a journalist, but you know, you get the point, right?
There's no release date.
Yeah, it's no release date.
But for my, you know, research, it's saying April 3rd, 2026.
So, yeah.
You'll see if that's a, if I have actual sources and I.
Let me see.
Release date.
let me look at the internet right quick so it's just that right quick April 3rd 2026 okay so it seems like
it's coming out on that specific time yeah okay super Mario galaxy movie will release April 3rd
2026 so with that being said click my link to my bio let me know one of my social media is what
do you think about the Mario just overall IP currently with the tennis game with the capitalization
off of the super Mario galaxy movie title reveal and then of course the bundle for a super
Mario galaxy plus super mario galaxy too what do you think about that and at the end of the day do
you believe that the drop the price movement was one of the worst movements in gaming history
