Now, apparently, this is the weekend's last feature of all time, which I could not call
bigger cap on.
Because if y'all don't know, Abel Tussay is one of my favorite artists of all time.
Aubrey Graham, aka Drake, is my favorite artist of all time.
They're like one and two for me.
Three, four, and five are interchangeable, but as far as the top two, Drake, the weekend,
sometimes Chris Brown is in my top three, but, you know, then he goes and punches.
you know, one of our icons in the music industry, aka Usher, and, you know, he goes back down on
my list. So whenever he's not throwing his temper tantrum, sometimes Chris Brown is in my top
three. But for the most part, it's Drake and Chris and the weekend as far as the music I consume
on the everyday basis. I think I've came to the realization that the weekend puts out some of the
best music consistently I've ever heard in my life. If the idol soundtrack was an actual album,
I would have that as my favorite album of the year.
I do believe that the weekend
in constructing that album
may one of his best body of work
as far as his whole discography is considered.
But even though technically it was his show,
I mean, he was starring along with Johnny Depp's
sister daughter, I believe.
I forget her name.
Lily Depp, I think it was a name.
It was basically her show and his show.
like they was like co-starring i guess anyways basically the soundtrack was fire beyond fire like
false idols i believe it's called with little baby still to this day it's like it's not my favorite
track of the year but it's like top two top three and yes i do keep a list so um basically i say all that to
say the weekend with diddy being track 10 off of his album the love album it's very interesting to see because
for him to say it's his last feature
and for it to be this
you already know I'm going with it
underwhelming to say the least
sonically it sounds off
than what I'm usually used to hearing
from the weekend
but
maybe it will grow on me
that's the biggest cape I can
give to one of my favorite artists
so with that being said
let's focus on the weekend's good outings and music i feel like if it was to recap the weekend's
twenty twenty three it was pretty solid the idol soundtrack i keep saying if that was an actual
official album from the weekend i think it'll be one of his better better bodies of work days ever
put out i mean you really got to think about it double fantasy with future popular with uh playboy
cardie and madonna false idols with little baby um like a god
from himself going into false idols like the transitions to the solo tracks
was just classic and the weekend has completely because he already was cemented to me but after
that it was like okay yeah the weekend has made consistently the best music I've ever heard
for one from one particular artist the reason why he's not my favorite because
Drake is. It's simply because of the versatility. Like the weekend is not going to come on,
giving a 32 bar verse and then start singing. Like he stays in his lane, but his lane,
he does better than any other artists. And that's why for Drake, his versatility puts
him on top for me. Pause. Yeah, extra pause. But yeah, I feel like his versatility, the way he
raps into different cultures, whether you want to say it's culture of rotering or not, at least
he's trying it unlike some other rappers in the game who's supposedly top five that don't be
trying anything new so yeah this track if it is the last feature from the weekend is beyond
underwhelming but i am a weekend fan so maybe i'm tripping click my link to you in my bio
let me know one of my social media is what do y'all think of the weekend's outing on ditty's
album and do you think this specific track titled another one of me which was the single for the
album do you think it was fire or trash
