Starting point is 00:00:04 Now, I know it's Halloween, but what in the world is this? Honestly, how many masks does Abel Tuss Faye have in his collection? That's what I want to know. Honestly, that's the biggest question I have. Because whenever you look at the weekend and the amount of mask this man has put on from timeless from this specific track and then from when he was announcing, I forget what it was. it was he was announcing another album oh live at sofi that had a different mask as far as that cover this man has mask for days so you already know that he was waiting for this opportunity
Starting point is 00:00:47 because when it comes to october and the Halloween holiday people love dressing up in mask but then it comes to the weekend who loves dressing up in masks 365 days out of the year then you come to realize that this man couldn't wait for Halloween. So with that being said, October 30th was the release of his collaboration between Brazilians pop star Anita where he had her wear a specific mask as far as the Halloween theme and it was inspired and direct, no, it was body horror inspired and directed by Freakot. I think that's how you say it. So anyways, analytic dreams video on Spotify to see the video along with the audio, because as you can see right now, this is some pretty disturbing stuff that's in my, that's, that's on my screen right now.
Starting point is 00:01:41 Like, I don't know what's going on, but it's something, right? So if you're looking at it, you probably understand why it's a little hard for me to even quantify what in the world is going on. So if I have to look at it, y'all do too. So anyways, to describe it for the people who's not watching, it's basically an exaggerated baby bump. right featuring a mouth that sings the weekend's parts ladies gentlemen let me repeat that for you i don't think you understand um anita who's all on the track with the weekend that's titled how you say this hold up let me get jarvis to tell me how say this again sao paolo sao paulo i think i said that right anyways anita who's on the track with the weekend titled sao paulo has an exaggerated baby bump and
Starting point is 00:02:32 music video that sings that has a mouth it features a mouth that sings the weekend's parts as she roams the city yes ladies and gentlemen that's why i keep saying the weekend could not wait for Halloween because this is ridiculous who told his man to do this like honestly who in the world came to the brainstorming table and was like you know what let's put a mouth on a pregnant woman and have it seeing the weekend's parts because obviously she's not pregnant it's just an exaggerated baby bump because of the music video but in the concept you're supposed to take it you know at face value so she's supposed to be pregnant with a mouth that's singing the weekend parts now i've repeated that at least five times because i still don't understand and grasp who would come up
Starting point is 00:03:23 with such a thing so anyways uh with that being said let's get to the music right um the weekend is going crazy on the charts because he's one of the most streamed artists of all time so of course the track with playbricardi timeless is still number 15 as far as the most played track in the world and then that's been on the charts for about four weeks and then you have dancing in the flames has been on the charts for about six weeks and it's the 49th most played track in the world and as far as albums because you know that's definitely one of the biggest things that a lot of people want to point out he has none on the top 50. So that is pretty peculiar, if I do say so myself.
Starting point is 00:04:03 But when it comes to albums, usually it really is a testament to the longevity of a project. Not to throw any beef or asperions on the X-O or the hugs and kisses camp, but of course the goat, Drake, still has a album in the top 50 as far as for all the dogs. So when I say that, the reason why I'm saying that is because, of course the Canadian beef that's between not even a Canadian more specifically the Ontario beef even more specific in the same city of the same country as far as Ontario beef the weekend is blowing Drake out of the water as far as monthly listeners but then you look at the overall consumption of albums and the highest one is Drake's for all the dogs which I keep telling people is one of
Starting point is 00:04:55 Drake's better projects I mean you go back to the album It's pretty well constructed as far as for today's modern day music and still keeping that Drake flow. But anyways, you know, that's a, you know, you can look up Drake for all the dogs, analytic dreams to see my review on that. Basically, we're talking about the weekend. So the reason why I'm talking about his album's not having any top 50 placements is because his singles seem to be doing the thing. Doing the thing. That's crazy. Seems to be doing what it needs to as far as his album.
Starting point is 00:05:25 because whenever his album comes out, hurry up tomorrow, which I don't think we got to, have you received a date for it? We haven't received a date for it. So this is another single, seemingly as a rollout for his upcoming album,
Starting point is 00:05:42 hurry up tomorrow. Ultimately, his singles are impacting the masses at a point where it is doing its job as far as the marketing tactic. So the reason why I say that is because a lot of people try to put out singles and they just consistently flop to the point where at one point people were saying that ice spice could literally just put out singles and never put out a body of work obviously that she's uh non-existent in today's age right little uh ice spice is going to put
Starting point is 00:06:15 out something nobody's going to listen to it as far as a full body of work but as far as a single she can keep putting that out and stay relevant at some point somebody wants you to put out a body of work why am i saying that with the weekend because of course if there's no album that they're going back to as far as the top 50, but your tracks are currently in the top 50 and been on the top 50 for at least six weeks for two of them as far as dancing in the flames and as far as timeless, then at some point you're going to want people to realize that you're putting out a body of work. So why not just put out a date?
Starting point is 00:06:54 you know why keep putting out these singles that's ultimately going to stream a lot but then not give us a date for the actual album hurry up tomorrow i don't know if it's because of the title of the creator uzi taking up some of the media market share with their releases of their albums but you're the weekend like if you put out a date that's all you need to do and then we'll basically talk about that date but we still don't know when hurry up tomorrow is coming out like ironically we know when hurry up tomorrow's coming out so with that being said that's that's really all i had about the weekend this man loves wearing different type of mask and of course October 31st which was Halloween this man put out one of the most eccentric videos i've ever seen in life as far as just
Starting point is 00:07:45 the overall disturbing elements that was in this music video so that's that's all that's i can say about the music video because you you got to watch it for yourself i mean it's actually something to behold as far as how insane this video is anyways let me stop talking about that so as far as the music um hurry up tomorrow hopefully it gets a release date soon but with that being said click my link tree my bio let me know one of my social medias what do you think about the weekend and his latest track with anita titled sio powell i probably still messed it up even though i had jarvis read out to me so that being said let me know if this fire uh if this track is fire or trash
