The weekend's full name is Abel Maconan Tesfay. Now, why is this important? Because I just want to have a little side tangent and talk about how the weekend started making music in 2009 and his release debut mixtape was House of Balloons in 2011. Now, you may be wondering, why in the world am I telling you this? let me just explain it for you there's a particular artist that's from los angeles california and didn't start his music career until 2010 one year after abel mconin tessay took the stage now who was this artist you might ask who started his career One year after, Abel, well, is none other than the person who calls himself, I love Maconan.

Now, if he wasn't able to put that together, I'm just going to let you know. If you know the background of I Love Maconan, compared and combined with the weekend's full name, I think it's very interesting what type of message he was trying to send throughout his entire career. Now with that being said, let's get into the weekend talking about how he's done with features and he's tired of watching all your own projects. So let's get into the weekend right. So with that being said, let's get into the weekend. I think it might be the last feature I ever do ever in my career. So I want to just let you guys know that for now. So he just dropped that. He was just like, hey, by the way, I think I'm done doing features because all the other artists, they can't compare to me. They're not as talented as me. They can't sing like me.

I mean, obviously, okay, I'm adding a little bit. He didn't really say all that. But what I really do want to focus on, is that apparently this man said, let me see if I can pull this up. Another one of me will be the last feature on the weekend's career. The reason why I'm not really taking that with too much credence is because the weekend is starting to drop the name the weekend. I'm not even trying to be funny. And he's trying to go with Abel McCona Tess Faye. Obviously a lot of people are like, but we don't actually know his artist's

name yet. I think he's honestly just trying to drop the weekend and just actually start going by his government name. The weekend is so immensely popular worldwide that it makes sense to use his government name because I don't know too many artists who have transitioned to other platforms and other art forms and it be a smooth process with them going by the artist's name at some point everybody has to start promoting them by the government name i don't know why that's such a big deal i mean you see it with jack harlowe you see it with drake and the type of opportunities that he's given of course with sean carter he has a little you know leeway because he's one in a billion he's not really something you should be scaling yourself off of but um a lot of

musicians who go by the government name ends up being more successful. I have no data to back that up. But I do see a lot of different musicians trying to get the different aliases thrown away and very much have the focus beyond the government name. And I only think as those type of, I only think that change is for the artist who's trying to transition from music to another art form to be successful. As you've probably already heard me talk about, the idol featuring The Weekend as a main character. So I shouldn't even say featuring the weekend as a main character. Got completely obliterated by fans all over the internet and Twitter simply because this man wanted to take. act and do you think him wanting to act the HBO picking up the idol show which he was starring in

and now he's wanting to drop the artist named The Weekend?
